Infiltration III
As the surge of electricity ends I can see that the Guardbot generator is pretty banged up. I begin to ready to take a stab at it but then I see from the corner of my eye one of the Guardbots rushing to stop me holding it's gun like a club. When it swings it's makeshift club at me I dive to the side and evade it's first attack but the Guardbot is quick and is facing me within a blink of an eye. The Guardbot then swings the butt of it's gun at me wildly in an effort to force me back.
After avoiding another swing both me and the Guardbot hear a loud bang and notice another Guardbot corpse being hurl through the air right towards us. I fall backwards to avoid the bodily projectile which just barely clears my head and it sails right over me but the Guardbot was no quite as quick this time and is slammed by it's fallen comrade and is knocked over and is temperately pinned by the body.
'Convenient.' I think to myself as I get back on my feet. Looking over at the Guardbot I see that he is still pinned at the moment. 'I'll deal with you later if you still alive by then.' I think to myself as I turn to face the Guardbot Commander A who is at the moment distracted trying to repel my fellow ship boarders. 'Sooner his dead the sooner we can move on to deal with the others.' With that I ready my lightning spear for my attack on the Guardbot Commander's exposed back. But once again out of the corner of my eye I see the Guardbot has gotten himself unpinned much faster then I though he would.
Focus Action - "System Shock"
"Bugger." As I see the Guardbot just getting to his feet. Without thinking I instead switch my hold on the spear and raise it up like a javelin and with as much force I could muster throw lunch the lightning spear into the Guardbot Commander's back as it sails and is about to make contact I yell out "Lightning Bolt!" and just as the spear slams into the back and impales the Guardbot Commander the Lightning spear lets out a stream of high voltage electricity as well and starts frying the internal hardware of the machine, causing fuses to pop, wires to melt and nano processors to overheat and explode. (3 CP)
Not that I have time to admire the damage because after I yelled out my command the Guardbot had just gotten back up and shooting at me causing me to scurry for cover which I barely get to in time as bolts of plasma slam against the protruding bulkhead which I had taken cover behind.
You expertly weave around the guardbots, before slamming the Guardbot commander down into his console! Bolts of electricity fly around the room, and the lights dim, before things return to normal! 42,000 damage to the guardbot commander!
ES sighs at the fact the Guardbot Commander is still at half HP. This will be more difficult than he may have originally thought, it would seem. Damn this Soulrazer! Ugh, maybe it would just be easier to take it down from the outside? That simultaneously made sense but made no sense at all. He just felt like it, but the math did not check out. He hands off the Starcalibur to Arsenical, very carefully ensuring that there's no point where it could be stolen by a Godmodder or a Guardbot.
Then he attacks the Commander.
FOCUS (Or 2 actions if he's drained of one for a turn) - OBLITERATE
Clenching his fist, ES pushes the Commander around the room like a particularly fast moving pinball, sending him flying this way and that, smashing him against the (extremely resilient because of Soulrazer) walls with a burst of power, and as the unit lands in the same place it started in he does manage a smirk, seeing as how the robot is now notably worse for wear compared to before it enjoyed a ride to the various corners of the room.
The guardbot commander ping-pongs against the walls, eventually coming to a stop with 38,000 less HP!
I doff my Strange Hat to the many newcomers, even as they begin to tear into the SR forces. "Well it's getting a little cramped in here, so I think I'll be on my way." Glancing about the room I quickly add. "Besides, I'd like to get this done quickly. I have a feeling this is a limited time deal, even if it's not explicit!"
I call out to my fellow Players before crashing through the door connecting us to the Main Hallway.
Action 1
"Honey I'm home!" My mind scrambles for an appropriately creative attack, my Allies had unleashed attacks that manipulated time itself! In a rather neat way at that.
"Screw It." I think before pulling out a large minigun, I'll just turn 'em to cheese.
A hail of bullets followed, all focused with supernatural accuracy on Gaurdbot Commander B. No matter how he dodged, no matter how quickly he moved or how many of his underlings tried to shield him. Every single bullet found their home, the chest cavity of the Gaurdbot Commander B.
Action 2
"Looks like I take damage here, better fix that." I mutter, summoning up my power. It whips around me like a miniature whirlwind, orange energy crackling like lightning.
It only takes a second, but eventually it settles and the air around me takes an orange hue. And it appears...reflective?
"This, is an Attack Mirror. It'll reflect whatever damage you do to me, right back at you." In exchange for providing no protection is the part I conveniently leave out. No reason to give them incentive after all.
Action 3
My Divine Microphone is starting to act on the fritz. The Curse of Repetition, or whatever it's called, at work I guess. But it should have one good use left in it.
"Our Champion..." To the Hexagonal Sheriff the voice sounds faint and almost...strained!?
Divine Lightning crackles around his Infinite Ammo Pouch.
"The Godmodder's dark powers are at work, they seek to sever you from the divine path you walk." The divine lighting grows, enveloping the Pouch. "He foolishly belives that his power is greater than ours. But while he can prevent our words from reaching your ears, our blessings are immutable."
The lightning settles, and out of curiosity the entity takes out one of the bullets. It seems the same, save for an odd orange stripe running down it's side.
"Those are now Singularity Bullets, once having hit and penetrated their target they implode, dragging fist sized chunks of your enemy into oblivion...." The voice is almost impossible to hear now.
"Goodbye..."
-----
I glare at the Guardbots, fixing to brace for the inevitable attack before I remember, protect Alice...can't do much, I've already used all my energy.
But...I look to the Divine Microphone in my hands, sparks and smoke flying out of it. With a sigh I transform it into the Microphone...boring but useful.
"Hey Alice, you might wanna keep an eye on the Godmodder. If your system is as much like the Sith as it seems, he's going to want to kill you asap. Watch your back."
14,000 damage to Guardbot Commander B! You've moved up to the Main Hallway!
You create an ATTACK MIRROR! Reflects damage back for one attack, but without blocking the damage! Notable for being only as expensive as an attack shield, compared to the premium-priced Attack Deflector.
On the outside, you can sense the Hexagonal sheriff receiving a buff...
With a BOOM! you can feel in your soul, Cyborg arrives inside the Soulrazer!![]()
(10 CP spent.)
Cyborg has a Sonic Cannon, flight, and Promethium skin which makes him indestructible-ish.
His intelligence and connection to machines allows him to hack even the famed Batcomputer.
Using his internal Mother Box, he can open wormhole-like Boom Tubes and draw power from the Multiverse itself.
I vote to again contain the Soulrazer.
Red Tornado flies into the Soulrazer with Cyborg.
Cyborg and Red Tornado attack Guardbot Commander A.
(So sign me up for Infiltration or whatever it's called.)
(2 CP Saved up)
You burst into the Soulrazer, bringing reinforcements with you - including a new and powerful Cyborg! They prepare to fight!
1. My hand removes itself from the stopped time, and I flex it. Good, it moves again. With that, I feel my power returning from the expense of two turns ago, and speeds forward, grabbing a Guardbot and slamming it into its own Commander.
2. I charge up a simple beam attack, less damaging and more knockback, and then transfer the energy into a Guardbot. As the Guardbot immediately fires it at me, I'm suddenly not there, and instead the Commander is there, and both go flying into a wall
3. +1 CP
Orders: Hey, one of you queens, attack the commander
Guardbot killed! Commander takes 15,000 damage! The Commander stumbles over, realizing that it's the end for them.
We need to hold this sector before moving forward.
Action 1: I hack a guardbot and make it shoot at another guardbot.
Action 2: I fish through the entry breach in the room to collect piranhas, then slap them onto the piranha mech to repair it.
Action 3: I also fish up a healing potion and drink it to recover health.
The Piranha mech attempts to eat a guardbot.
You try to hack a guardbot, but you run out of hacker juice (a necessary hacking thing) midway through, causing you to mess up and destroy the guardbot instead!
+12,000 HP to you and the Pirahna mech!
Piono winces as he falls back down.
He tosses two points of charge to karpinsky, then jumps up towards the sidequest, to join in, lobbing an EMP grenade at the guardbots if you get to act and join in the same action.
He shouts back out through the hole in the hull,
"Altair! Alice! I know you're setting up to try and stop the Godmodder, but we need to try and get our army out from under the guns of the Soulrazer. We CAN'T fight the Soulrazer and the Godmodder at the same time, we JUST CAN'T. I can't force you to do anything, but I really think you two should join us in here so you're not within range of the Soulrazer's weawponry!"
Guys, order your entities into the Soulrazer breach. The interior of the Soulrazer is, ironically, the safest place for our units right now, and the more stuff we have in there, the better our chances are.
Alice: Move... inside the Soulrazer!? The godmodder probably has some defenses up there, and...
Alice: If I DID move, the godmodder would just follow us. The entire battle would be inside the Soulrazer... but then...
Alice: ...Alright, I'm willing to give it a shot! But only if over 60% of the Players and entities move into the Soulrazer! Then, I'll move the rest of the army in, too!
You hop into the sidequest, destroying a guardbot with your attack!
"Ah, thanks!" Arsenical took hold of Starcalibur in both hands, and stared down the squad of enemies.
Well, time to do his job.
Actions 1-3: Shields for Days
*Scwhing* *Schwing* *Schwing*
First, the player sent three blasts of legendary energy out of the sword in less than five milliseconds, all headed towards his Queens! Fortunately, this wasn't an attack. The slashes swept over the three queens like a wave, surrounding each of them in a shiny bubble of magical energy. Aren't attack shields ever so grand?
Action 4 & 5: Clerical Duties
As a cleric, Arsenical's duty wasn't attack shields and attack shields only. Yes, that was a big part, but there was the whole 'healing' business.
As such, Our hero switched his grip to instead have the hilt facing outwards, and beaned the injured queen in the closest equivalent to its face. Since the blade deals damage, the hilt should heal damage!
Makes about as much sense as half the other things that happen on this field...
Actions 6: Strike Thy Down
As to climax his turn, Arsenical pulled out his laptop to... Sign up to something?
Ah, yes, to sign up to become an ordained AGpriest! As a priest of the church of the Anti-Godmodder Gods, he's now legally able to call down their fury and SMITE PG & PG-allied entities with brilliant lightning, an action that he performs on the Guardbot Commander!
+1 shield to each queen! They have protection!
Queen fully healed! Some of your reserve power set aside for healing actions is used up...
The Guardbot commander is SMITED by your divine justice, and is completely deadified!
(3x) I bring out my Aspect Vials, including the Vial oF Aspects aNd my Save Point,I then nudge them to hover in the air where I Place them,I then vertically surround the Vial oF Aspects with the Aspect Vials tO refine and focus the Ambient Aspects aNd Place the Save Point tO focus the Laser aNd Point it where to fire as well as give it possibly weird effects in front of the set up facing the Door leading into the Hallway, with my paradoxification skills I set up a Magic Circle behind the Set Up aNd began powering it,with a Spark oF Creativity,I create an Orb oF Light aNd an Orb oF Dark aNd Set them to orbit around the Vial oF Aspects vertically,I then Install Concept:Empowerment into the ENTIRE SET UP WHICH LIGHTS IT UP AND IT BEGINS CHARGING UP A LASER THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS!!
Colored Universal Magic Circle
....Hmmm it still looks as if it can be improved
"Hey can anyone help with Charging up this or provide more things to add onto the Set-Up before it generates the Laser at the End of this Turn ??"
OOC:you may charge this up generically or use an inventory item or an item you create for a single action to power up this thingy, actions help it deal more damage but adding items may give additional effects also Note:This doesn't use up the Items
The laser will fire at the end of the turn towards the door! You move up to Main Hallway!
ACTION 1: Of course I'm not holding the Yorehammer! I only hold it in my hands to attack or to hand it off. The rest of the time, it's in my Yorehammerspace: a specialized holster I use to store the Yorehammer.
But just in case the Yorehammer has somehow ended up inside the house, I shrink the house down so that it will fit in the palm of my hand. Since Legendary Weapons can't be shrunk so easily, the Yorehammer stays constant and eventually, if it's there, bursts out of the house and into my hands.
2 CP received!
The Ettin will join the Infiltration sidequest.
ACTIONS 2-3:
NOTE: If Legendary Weapons cannot be used inside sidequests, or if I still don't have Yorehammer, replace everything below this note with +2 CP
Boost Stone expended!
All my CP expended!
2 Actions expended!
Yorehammer utilized!
Moving quickly, I tag along with the Ettin as he enters the Soulrazer. I then get to work on my own attack INSIDE THE SOULRAZER SIDEQUEST.
Channeling a devastating pulse of energy through Yorehammer, I build up a great electrical force. The electrical field is visible as a ball of lightning hovering in my spare hand, getting larger and larger. When the ball reaches the size of my head, I compress it to the size of a pea. Maintaining the new density, I then allow it to grow until it is again the size of my head. I then release it in a massive pulse to do its devastating work.
The electric pulse goes through the Guardbots like they aren't even there, splitting into several strands of lightning. Each of these strands arcs towards its chosen target: a portion of the Soulrazer's systems. The strands enter the control panels, both those seen and those unseen, using them as access points. The powerful electric energy surges through the wires until it arrives at the myriad systems controlled by the various control points, and then it destroys them utterly. The permafrost is consumed as lightning arcs across the Soulrazer, wreaking havoc as it goes.
You check your Yorehammerspace, and yup, it's still there! The fake house you thought it was in collapses into a heap of rubble, forcing the Yorehammer-stealing bandits hiding inside to flee!
You and the Ettin burst into the Entry Room, ready and willing to fight off any number of foes!
Since your Yorehammer strike counts as "shenanigans" rather than a standard attack, extra CP beyond your 2 actions is not necessary! Resources not expended!
---------
The Yorehammer lightning split arcs through the Soulrazer, converging in the Main Hallway, then diverging outwards in both directions! Completely bypassing the guardbots and their commanders, and using the power of ANCIENT PERMAFROST, they strike at the Control Panels, and travel through the connections straight to the weapons they control!
The Napalm Concentrators panel self-destructs! As do the Napalm Concentrators!
The Bounce Blaster panel self-destructs! As does the Bounce Blaster!
The Standard Destroyers control panel self-destructs! As do the Standard destroyers!
Karpinsky triumphantly takes Yorehammer out of his Yorehammerspace and holds it up! Huzzah! That's all the weapons destroyed!
When suddenly, a GIANT robot shifts out of invisbility mode, punches Karpinsky, and grabs Yorehammer right out of his hands! Then, he switches back to invisibility mode! Up ahead, you briefly see the door in the Main Hallway open, presumably so this giant Yorehammer-thieving robot can move into the bowels of the ship! It promptly closes back up before anyone can get through!
Well, you took care of the control panels, which should make the fight outside easier! But the [SR] forces have the Yorehammer deeper inside the Soulrazer! They'll probably find a way to get it back to the godmodder, given enough time!
-------
The Pirahna mech attacks a guardbot for 5,000 damage! The Ettin and Cyborg and RedTornado follow up, a large literal whirlwind of blades obliterating all the guardbots in this room!
The Queens split up and move forward to the next three rooms! One Queen will proceed with you! The other 2 will try to hold off the reinforcements!
In the MAIN HALLWAY, the healer Guardbots restore Guardbot Commander B to full health! The standard guardbots split their fire, hitting Paradoxdragonpaci for 30,000 damage and Spicy Serious for 40,000 damage! The Guardbot Commander B absolutely SMASHES Paradoxdragonpaci, dealing 70,000 damage! Paradoxdragonpaci isn't looking so good... they're on the ropes!
However, Paradoxdragonpaci still activates their ITEM LASER attack, hitting Guardbot Commander B, who is guarding the door to the deeper parts of the ship, with a face full of aspect power! 40,000 damage!
Guardbot Commanders C and D both realize that there's only one thing left to protect! They both move to the Main Hallway, and instruct their forces to do the same as soon as they can get past the queens! Looks like everything's in the Main Hallway now!
Everything generates.

OOC: In the face of Guardbot Commander D, I feel I should tell you how Player attacks and attack shields work - it's a bit different from entities. By default, 1 action = 1 attack shield broken. So using all 3 of your actions on a generic focused attack would break 3 attack shields. However, using the versatility of Player Powers... sufficiently creative or interesting attacks designed to break attack shields could probably break more than 3 attack shields at a time...
