Defeat The Godmodder

Kyle wonders briefly what the heck Disco-Chan is before running forward. Dashing out from being the wall, he runs straight to the Elite Zapbot, kicking it over with the use of momentum. As it scrambles to get up, he whips out his sword and presses a small button. It begins to crackle with blue electricity, slashing a very sizable gash into it while also frying it's circuits.

Having faith that was enough to kill it before it can attack, he dashes back behind the brick wall while fearing for his life.

Free action: "And to be more of the good guy here: Teamwork is a privilege and way, not an obligation. But the point is moot: You won't listen. And given your stated intentions, your plans are a danger."
Action 1: I collect some more water. Quite a bit more water, in fact.

If you're wondering what I'm doing, it's preparing to use hydrogen plasma as a weapon.

Action:

The Elite Zapbot I have held down has taken a beaten but it's still ticking unfortunately. But the Elite Zapbot looks to be on it's last leg so I'll keep on with beating it with my Knuckle biters and attempt to finish it off for good.

(May I request that the Green Dot be given the label, "That Idiot". It is appropriate for my current plan. Also, the shadows will regret not having gotten to where the door is already, since...)
The man suddenly realizes that the shadows are more stubborn than they look. He sees the ones behind him, and does the only sensible action. He opens the trapdoor, leaps down, dashes to the next trapdoor, turns into wind, and books it into the vent system. They don't currently have a good way to follow, so he has at least one turn to plan his next move. He then says, panting "That, did not go according to plan. We underestimated stubbornness outside of our own. Of course it didn't go right. Let's just think of something else useful we can do."
He RAGES that he didn't realize that they might be able to squeeze through the bars.

Looks like we're about to move on then. Well, best do one last preparation.

I move back into the Cellblocks (bolded so that I don't stay in the about-to-fall tunnel), and once again start making rope out of toiler paper. Enhanced player power and experience compared to last time allow me to finish the job quickly, and I then use player power and various small bits of metal lying around to increase the Scratchrope's strength and more crucially, make it waterproof.

I proceed to tie this length of scratchrope to the end of the shaft of my Tetradent of Stabbing. This allows me to casually reel the throwable Tetradent back in with ease, allowing the Tetradent to carry out long range throwing attacks without needing a separate action to re-aquire it.

I have no armor and making it will take time we don't have, so best upgrade my weapon to aid in distanced combat instead.

Eyowe, still utilizing the X-Ray Goggles to see through the walls, lets fly of Butterfly and, as S T Y L I S H as possible while also being actually accurate, tugs the string around to make it stab and slash into an Elite Zapbot.

[0] I PRESUME the God of Dreams will be missed by the Godmodders forces.
My logic here is dreams are from someones mind, but not their concious mind, necessarily, so if I can unconsciously assume, unconditionally, that it'll work, that mental energy will help the God of Dreams. Probably.... I mean uhhhhh
Definitely! Yep, Definitely. There's a 110% chance it'll work. Willpower will make it so!
[1] I shape a tether between my self-fragment and my mostly-self, and then attach that tether to the God of Dreams. then, I attach m Better idea. I connect my splitoff self-bit to the communication channel//ensure it's connected( pro'lly already is, it's part of me and I am), and the self-bit to Morpheus. Some intention-projection into the resulting artifice, and HOPEhopefully any mental energy (of the HOPE, OPE, ROPE, RAGE, AGE, FAITH etc etc variety, the free action kind.) sent by DREAM, PRESUME, or PERCIEVE*, will be channelled into Morpheus to hasten his recovery. He saved us, he deserves the help.
After finding out whether or not this worked, I wake up.

*Because I had that thing where all my stuff was perception magics and that was actually 'works based on casters beliefs' as opposed to 'works based on some underlying laws'. which is kind of similar to my understanding of dreams (Expect something to happen? It will.). Also there was this one thing I meant to imply (nothing came of it) (nor was it known to any other participant) in a game I played with [HE͢ W̵H͘O ͠H͢A̵S̵ BEE̵N ̷BAN҉NĘD͢ ̸FROM ̶TH͡I̸S͜ LA͘ND̸ ̴FO͞R N̶O̴ R̡EA̶S͘ǪN ̨RELA͡TE͠D T̶O T̸HE ̨EVE̸ŃT̀S̴ ͢O̢F ͞THI͝S LA̧ND] where whenever I had lucid dream, I intended to imply the God** of Astral*** was a whole bunch more powerful for a while which we could not experience (since it would be while I was asleep, and hence not playing). And there was another thing.... well, from past experience you find this boring, so I'll just summarize that there's been many a time where i connected the idea of Perception and Dreams, so... I had a point! I definitely had a point, at some point. not any more but i did!
**In the game, who knows if its real here.
***actually perception but it was called astral magic for a while first

The Elite zapbot behind the barricade with us has made a mistake.

He has come within stabbing range of my Zappy Knife.

So I stab him. And he also gets zapped by the zappiness of the knife, while being stabbed. Nice how this sort of thing works, no?

Free Action: FAITH

I create the Compressor, using toilet paper, thatch, bread (that's incredibly stale) and 1 guardbot part. Why? Because it can help upgrade weapons.

I go into even more Extreme Stealth Mode and prepare myself by Improving the Flatch Pear into the Plasma Orange by virtue of Fruit-Puns and some microwave-on-Grape Action

[A] ATTACK the
[FREE?] Valla conversation

"Ah, so you wish only to be bound to the concept of not being bound to anything, binding and obligating yourself to not having any companions, ideals, hopes, or dreams beyond this vauge 'freedom?' The extremes you are willing to go to so as to support this view are disconcerting and irrational given the current situation. A truly free person is not bound by anything-even their own convictions. And in any case, what point is freedom? But that is this unit's take on the subject, and this unit is not terribly philosophical. I cannot imagine life without the Operator. Literally. I would be unable to exist."

"In any case, if you wish to continue being selectively oblivious to the most obvious route to freedom from this location, you may continue to do so. Alternatively, we may repair the damage done to your MIND and effectively escape from this location, and the Godmodder, by violating your thus-far inexorable bind to freedom. Its your choice, but do be aware the only way out is via a portal from outside the prison into, obviously, an afterlife-like realm."

Leah stops pointing her flamethrower at Valla and instead rushes up to the enemies in the main hallway. She pokes her flamethrower nozzel from behind the barricade and takes careful aim, ready to fire it into the midst of the crew. She pulls the trigger, sending a jet of flame into the midst of the enemies, firing directly into... Well, an enemy... Look I don't know which ones will be alive by the time of my post, so let's just assume she tosses it out at the weakest enemy currently available to attack that isn't the Tranq Sniper, for obvious reasons.

In any case, the scorching, melting and burning associated with being hit by fire and fire-based products ensures upon that particular entity, to no-ones surprise, as Leah ducks the nozzle behind cover and readies her Bayonet to stab whatever stupid sod thinks they'll be charging their positions.

Having properly cranked up my blender, I point it at the tranq sniper. No bread this time, hold my position, and fire.
The Tranq Sniper looks down at me just in time to get slammed into the wall by an enormous stream of ranch dressing that prevents him from acting this round.

Humming a cheerful tone I dive into the water filling the prison before reloading Spearnir. (x1)

After I finish reloading I preform basic self care requirements as best as I can in the flooded prison, such as by bringing bread above the waterline before ripping it for it to regenerate some new nonsoggy bread. The fundamental basics are pretty difficult to accomplish yet I have a feeling I won't have the opportunity to do them again for quite awhile. Sure my body is a temple but even a temple requires maintenance when subjected to high voltage electricity. (Free Action)

Free action: I have FAITH that my next attack will work
Action 1: Maybe using a pistol was a bad idea. So I this time use a sniper rifle that never misses and aim it at the Tranq Sniper . The ammo is a potion that makes everything to fast around him, disorienting him.

'i run up to the elite zap bot in the player list and stab it using the spear part of my flamingshortstrikeinatorofdoom causing a hole to appear in its outer layer and then shoot into said hole to fry its surcuits

I have the robots assist the Disco Dancer in swarming and blocking the sight of the midboss. Because so far that seems to be working out well in keeping those OP no miss tranqs from working.

In the meantime, though, I draw upon the power of my Action to leap OUTSTANDINGLY high into the air! I nearly hit the brick wall up there, even! (Seriously, who put that there!?)

"Time for the time honored... DRAGOON JUMP!" I cheer, slamming down on top of one of the Elite Zapbots spearpoint first, ideally - though the jump might have thrown off my aim enough that I could conveniently hit something else if those bots are already dead.

In any event, my movement action is spent diving for cover behind the brick walls on the ground. I pray to my God, my FATIH powering the Faith entity in the Dungeonscape. The prayer is simply 'Please Lord help me not lose myself to evil godmodder bullshit'.

did I seriously manage to miss two dops without noticing?
huh

anyways, I channel some form of EMOTION that I definitely have and am feeling right now
I EMOTE so hard that a cinema is added to the Dungeonscape, where the EMOJI MOVIE is the only film showing. All enemies are given free tickets, and feel compelled to not waste them by not going to the theater.

Free Action Focus - FAITH AND HOPE: I have faith and hope that we will make it through!

Action Focus - LEEEEEEEEROOOOOY: I LEEEEEEEEROY even more. Because WHY NOT?

The others got this...probably. Cultists never were much for the front lines, so he's better off securing the home front, in a manner of speaking.

[x1] The red film surrounding The Render thickens, miniature bolts of Mana beginning to shoot along the creatures body as the red pushes until it sits a few inches from it's body. Before long, the aura of mana seems to come to a boil, literally as the red projection begins to bubble and steam, before the soupy mana begins to coalesce on The Render's many claws.

The already supernaturally sharp mauling hands of the beast sharpen further-(somehow)-the red Mana hardening around The Render's claws, while still boiling under the supremely hard shell of mana, ready to let any unfortunate creature that it scratches feel the magical equivalent of napalm sprayed into their wound.

A pleased growl leaves The Render, for a frightening moment the murder-beast thought he was getting defenses. The sort-of-but-not sentient murder-beast says a thankful prayer to the great Torturous One, in the form of a annoyingly loud screech. Yes, it was absolutely a thankful prayer and not the roar of a blood-hungry beast in pure ecstasy at being able to maul anything it comes across to it's hearts content.

(Buffing The Render's Attack.)

Spicy hums a little ditty after finishing his work, completely FAITHful in the other's capability to see the enemy reduced to scrap.

Fake Sidequest: Collection Call I
FAKE SIDEQUEST: COLLECTION CALL: PART 1:

Four Players sprint through the night. The clear sky and almost-full moon above ensure visibility isn't a problem - both for them and their enemies. They duck behind destroyed machinery, inanimate corpses of entities slain long ago, crouching against the muddy ground - most of the greenery in this section of the battlefield was destroyed long ago.

Movement is quick. Invisibility only works once, before it gets too repetitive - the Players are forced to get creative. They disguise themselves as bushes, holes in the ground, other godmodders, everything they can think of, and use various equally unique, silent methods to boost their speed.

Finally, they reach a rare forested portion of the battlefield - one that's seen a little less combat. They stop for a rest, and, with a few quick enemy-detection actions to ensure they're alone, begin to talk...

Gutcher: ...What just happened.

Soren: Everyone died. That's what.

Gutcher: Okay. But seriously.

Gutcher: What just happened.

One Player sits apart from the other three. They focus, using their psychic powers to draw up a holo-map of the surrounding area, looking for anything important or useful...

Wolfkitty: ...

The other three pay her little mind.

Greenling: Let's... let's take a moment. Let's walk through what EXACTLY happened... step by step.

Soren: Thanks to the Charmzard, we had a huge army of entities, and we were about to get more, despite what the Bank of Actions people were yelling about. And then, some sort of portal appeared... does anyone remember where its from?

Greenling: I'm not sure anyone got a bead on it. But the godmodder pulled out... a lot of stuff. Like, like... five different things!

Gutcher: It was total garbage... a load of BS! BS!! (Soren: Shush!) ... He had... something called a Starcalibur... and a Yorehammer... and an Infinileaf Clover... and... and other stuff, too!

Soren: The Allsee Spectacles.

Greenling: I think... he was using those to one-shot people? But it wasn't that he'd use those directly, he'd use the Spectacles to scan them, and THEN one-shot them...

Greenling: And then, once he'd reduced our number, the Charmzard and everything else turned traitor, and then...

Greenling: ...And then we came here.

Wolfkitty's hologram shows a few faint red dots, far away, undoubtedly representing enemies. Wolfkitty ignores them, and squints, zooming in on some other part of the map.

Gutcher: Did you guys see anyone else make it out of that fight? Please, PLEASE tell me somebody else made it!! (Soren: Shush, we can't be sure we're alone!)

Greenling: ...I don't know.

Greenling: ...Are we alone now?

Greenling: Is it... over?

There's a brief silence for a moment...

Soren: ...The godmodder might be trying to track us down. Look.

Soren points towards the sky. The faint red, unbroken shimmering of the Barrier can still be seen.

Soren: The godmodder hasn't yet tried to escape. That means he still has something he wants to do here.

Gutcher: Like... like hunting us down!? Like... like culling ALL the Players! (Soren: SHUSH!) (Greenling: You shush too, Soren! Set a better example!)

-----------

Despite his very best efforts, the godmodder has not ever managed to fully conquer Earth. Every time he gets a moments peace, more Players show up.

But whenever the godmodder can, he takes the opportunity to destroy Earth's infrastructure. Major population centers are his biggest target - he works his hardest to suppress the advancement of technology. It would be no good if the weaponry of ordinary humans eventually grew strong enough to challenge his army of entities all on its own.

But of course, the Players wanted to prevent this. They found that merely reacting every time the godmodder attempted to teleport somewhere was never good enough. A more permanent solution was needed. And so... the Barrier.

The Barrier's purpose was to keep the eternal war between the Players and the godmodder localized to a specific area. That specific area happened to be the majority of Asia. If you traced it on a map, the oval would cover all of Russia, about half of China, and about half the various countries in the middle of the map - Germany and Poland and such. Most of the fighting between Players and godmodders takes place in this area. The Players currently attempting to escape the prison fought in this zone, back when they were still alive.

The Barrier restricts the godmodder, his entities, and anyone else allied with him. If anything owned by the godmodder was ever detected outside the Barrier, the Barrier would immediately begin glowing a harsh green light, signaling the Players to protect their planet. The barrier is also a physical restriction, and along with the Players is the first and last line of defense against the godmodder escaping and doing as he pleases with the rest of the world.

But while the barrier has a massive amount of power invested into it, it is spread over an even more massive area. If the Players ever give the godmodder time to breathe, he'll go right for the barrier. It doesn't require much of his power to get past it. And once he gets past the barrier, the Players have to follow, and desperately attempt to prevent him from giga-nuking some city somewhere...

The godmodder gets out frequently. But the barrier is better than nothing.

Since the barrier is still "docile" right now, that means the godmodder has yet to leave it.

------------

Soren: ... We can't stay still forever.

Gutcher: Maybe it's time to give up. My family... I need to get back to them...

Gutcher: The next group can handle it...

Greenling: No.

Soren: Agreed. We can't stop now.

Wolfkitty focuses on her hologram more. The red dots are a little closer, now. But she's found something else, too...

Gutcher: But... but why??

Soren: Those weapons. The godmodder isn't just going to magically lose them. They looked... very permanent.

Soren: Even if new Players do come, he'll just butcher them like he butchered the rest of us.

Greenling: So... with that being the case... we need to make some kind of comeback... or the godmodder-

Gutcher: Will WIN! Agh...

As Soren once again is attempting to shush Gutcher, a figure emerges from the forestry. The Players immediately turn and cover them in flashlight beams. It's... a normal human male teenager. Nothing special about them all.

They're dressed in all-black colors, and carrying a sack on their back. The Players immediately conclude they're a looter - someone attempting to scavenge the vast amount of useful materials left behind by the war for profit. It's technically illegal, and definitely dangerous. But judging by his age... he's not with any larger group.

???: What are all of you yelling about? Wait... you're Players?

Soren: Yes, and shush. You need to leave, now.

Wolfkitty: Look.

All the Players, and the looter, immediately look at Wolfkitty's hologram... First, the red dots are even closer than before. Numerous enemies are closing in on them, and they're beginning to speed up. But even closer than the enemies... is a large temple, with an even larger power signature inside.

Wolfkitty: It's a godmodder.

Gutcher: Wait... the godmodder is right next to us!?

Wolfkitty: No. A different one.

Greenling: What.

Wolfkitty just shrugs. Everyone stands in silence for a moment.

???: ...Hey, I know a way inside that temple.

???: It was supposed to be sealed, but there's a tunnel that leads in if you know where.

Soren: I say we do it.

Gutcher: What??

Greenling: Is that really okay?

Soren: At this point, taking a chance on whoever or whatever is inside that temple might be our best chance.

To emphasize his point, Soren gestures to the holographic display. The red dots aren't getting any further away.

Eventually, the Players agree, and the newcomer (his name turned out to be Trey) leads them into the tunnel...

----------

Eventually, the Players all emerge within the temple.

Trey: Well... this is it.

Wolfkitty kept her display. The red dots have the temple surrounded. Trey won't be able to exit the way he came.

Trey: Ah... may I...

Greenling: Of course. Thank you.

Greenling waves his hand, adding a week's worth of food and water to Trey's sack and teleporting him to the place he currently considers to be "home".

The Players walk through the temple, but don't have to go far until they find themselves in the central chamber. And on the other side is someone that you, the readers, know well, but whom these Players have never met.

Alice immediately turns around, noticing their presence.

Alice: You... Players? Why are you here?

Soren: We have the same question. Why are you here?

Alice: Disposing of this legendary weapon - the Yoreshield.

Alice holds it up for emphasis.

Alice: Listen, I'm not with the godmodder, and what I'm doing is exclusively to your benefit. This legendary weapon needs to be disposed of.

Alice: Leave me be, and we'll have no quarrel.

Alice doesn't turn her back. She's clearly a bit nervous.

Gutcher: (Guys... she's at 1 HP... if we all attack now...)

Greenling puts a hand on Gutcher's shoulder, indicating he should wait...

Greenling: That legendary weapon you have. Is it, perchance, in a set with five others?

Alice: Six others, actually. Wait... hang on... how...?

Greenling: The... other godmodder has five more.

Alice: No... then...

Alice: Then sealing this one is all the more important! Now-

Immediately, the ceiling is blasted open, and multiple enemies descend... they're soldiers, decked out in typical black gear! They're really hitting that "Dystopian government massacres civilian protesters" aesthetic. One of them fires their laser weapon at Alice, and it just barely misses.

Alice: They're here! And the godmodder can't be far behind...

Alice: Listen, Players! You need to protect me! This temple was placed to seal away items - but it takes time to work! Guard me until I can use the temple to seal Yoreshield! I'll be a sitting duck until then!

Gutcher: No, wait, we have many questions! We can't just - we can't just work with a godmodder - a godmodder!

Greenling: Let's do it.

Soren: The enemies came for her. We can't win a three-way fight. Whether she's good or bad, protecting her is our best bet.

Wolfkitty: Deploying dewdrop dragon...

Gutcher: Ah... I just want it all to end! No... why...!?

---------

Wolfkitty's very favorite pocket entity, the dewdrop dragon, doesn't appear in time to put up player invulnerability, but with it out, the battle begins in earnest. The Players all take up positions and prepare to protect Alice from the onslaught.

(OOC: The Fake Sidequests are sidequests that you can't actually play. This is a cutscene to give you an idea of whats going on on Earth. Timeline-wise, this is all happening before this prison jaunt you're on now - not during your prison jaunt. You can't affect this at all. IC, you do not even know this has happened.

This was originally planned to be a playable sidequest, where all of you would control the four Players here. I decided to do this instead to save everybody time.)

And just to be doubly clear - you can't interact with this! It is only a cutscene!

I GUN even more.
GUNGUNGUNGUNGUGNUGNUNGGJGGUEUAJSGVhb
the sheer amount of gun floods the Mindscape, dealing small damage to a few entities. When it clears, the Tank emerges from the smoke...
As the megaGUN hopo ultimate blue tank!
With its incredibly stupid name, it prepares to agress, a healing and buffing aura of gun and hope spreading... bots made of pure gun assemble themselves, and run to aid the defenses.
I GUN more and more...

Breaking Bad - XVIII
I walk into the command room, takeout the last guard and open all the cells and exits out. Then I climb back on the ceiling and leave.

You takeout the last guard, stuffing them into a chinese takeout box. They immediately bust out, only brought down to average condition. Now they're angry...

I brace myself to absorb Zapbot attacks with my shieldand hopefully even counterattack

DEFENSE POSITION, in other words

You take DEFENSE POSITION! If the zapbots attacking you are still alive at the end of this turn, they won't be able to mess you up quite as badly!

1 action: I give the Rifler a scope for his rifle, allowing him to see the weak points of enemies and utilize that knowledge. (In effect, he treats the defenses of all enemies as one step lower.)

The Rifler now is able to ignore one layer of enemy defenses!

ES carves up one of the remaining Suppression Bots with his sword. Well, this was one way of getting out of this situation...

You stab through a Suppression bot, dealing 15% damage to it!

I meant the three items I already told you I need for the plan so the screwdriver a sonic the hedgehog figurine and the polymerisation card

Screwdriver... sonic the hedgehog figurine... polymerisation card? Okay, I've figured out your plan! You're going to use the polymerization card to summon a monster, then use the screwdriver to kill the monster, in the hopes of winning the sonic figurine's adoration!

Action: The Shock railgun needs to be charged, and I need some extra mobility (okay, I don't need the latter, but I still want extra mobility). Thus, I use the forge to convert guardbot metal into an electric cable and winch, and attach it to the Shock Railgun's Drain Matrix to create the Drainhook. It's like a grappling hook, but it also drains electricity from whatever it's attached to!

Now, I fire it at the lights on the ceiling to begin draining the prison's power to recharge the shock railgun.

The lights dim, and eventually, the one you attache the weapon to shatters. +.3 charge!

The quiet watcher combines the explosives, scrap metal from the remains of the doors, and the chains to form a SHREDDER!* He then moves up to the doors to the main hall.

*A shredder is an explosive device that launches high-speed shrapnel into anything near it. However, due to its design, it does large amounts of damage against targets and destroys weapons or armor that are in use in its large blast zone at the expense of being incapable of damaging terrain or cover.

You create the SHREDDER, and move into the Main Hall! The SHREDDER is an explosive that both deals damage to about three different enemies, and increases the damage those enemies take!

Ah. Counterpoint. Work with us or we do our best to ensure you don't get out of here. Nothing personal, but if you aren't with us we have no obligation to NOT murder you and steal your strength no? Cooperation runs on obligations. Survival works off of groups workng together. A rogue element hurts the group's chances, after all, if you had a chance to escape that doomed us all, you would take it.
1) I stab a Zapbot with a Scratchspear.

Valla: Threatening me into cooperation?

Valla: Go on. Try and take me down. See how it works out.

STAB! 5 damage to a zapbot!

Disco-Chan is a disco ball, imbued with life and love by Winkins!

9 damage to a zapbot! You manage to get back behind the wall in time.'

FAITH!

You get a LOT more water. You now have a vast amount of collected water! Water isn't exactly hard to find...

Action:

The Elite Zapbot I have held down has taken a beaten but it's still ticking unfortunately. But the Elite Zapbot looks to be on it's last leg so I'll keep on with beating it with my Knuckle biters and attempt to finish it off for good.

Your knuckle biters chew right through its armor. 6 damage to the Elite Zapbot! Its almost dead...

He RAGES that he didn't realize that they might be able to squeeze through the bars.

Requested accepted.

You barely manage to escape the Shadows! In the brief window of time you're moving unprotected in the flooded tunnel, the Shadows rage and move ever faster...

Eventually, you reach the ventilation system, again! The Shadows are full-on sprinting across the dungeon now. You're going to have to move again soon.

Your Tetradent can now safely and easily carry out long-range attacks! You're back in the cell blocks, safely outside the tunnel.

Eyowe, still utilizing the X-Ray Goggles to see through the walls, lets fly of Butterfly and, as S T Y L I S H as possible while also being actually accurate, tugs the string around to make it stab and slash into an Elite Zapbot.

The Elite Zapbot outside the walls takes 6 damage! STYLE!

Ignoring all the asterisk text... you're attempting to essentially channel free actions to Morpheus, right. You could've shortened your action, but, okay. Morpheus's recovery will be very slightly sped up by additional free actions dedicated to such. Very slightly.

Your self in the dream-world suddenly feels the air grow heavier. Like something's approaching...

FAITH! You have enough faith actions! The Faith healer's healing gets a power boost!

STAB! ZAP! STAB! 6 damage to the elite zapbot behind the barricade with you!

I create the Compressor, using toilet paper, thatch, bread (that's incredibly stale) and 1 guardbot part. Why? Because it can help upgrade weapons.

You create the Compressor, and add it to the production facility. It can be used to facilitate the more effective upgrading of weapons!

Burn their positions! I continue to feed the flames. Burning them up.

The burning grows! A guardbot quickly uses their fire extinguisher to put it out, but gets burnt themselves in the process, getting reduced to poor condition!

I go into even more Extreme Stealth Mode and prepare myself by Improving the Flatch Pear into the Plasma Orange by virtue of Fruit-Puns and some microwave-on-Grape Action

You make the Plasma Orange! Its somehow better than the Flatch Pear. You're not even really sure what it actually is at this point.

The flamethrower melts the weakest enemy, a zapbot! Zapbot slain! You crouch behind the wall, bayonet at the ready...

Valla doesn't bother explaining herself.

Having properly cranked up my blender, I point it at the tranq sniper. No bread this time, hold my position, and fire.
The Tranq Sniper looks down at me just in time to get slammed into the wall by an enormous stream of ranch dressing that prevents him from acting this round.

The ranch dressing stream covers the Tranq Sniper in sticky dressing, which goes well with salads and less well with people! He'll only be able to fire once this turn, due to being made to experience the full force of condiments.

Spearnir reloaded!

You become DOUBLE HEALTHY. Remember how healthy you were before? Now you're double that.

Free action: I have FAITH that my next attack will work
Action 1: Maybe using a pistol was a bad idea. So I this time use a sniper rifle that never misses and aim it at the Tranq Sniper . The ammo is a potion that makes everything to fast around him, disorienting him.

FAITH!

The Tranq Sniper is disoriented! He almost - but not quite - isn't able to fire a shot! The disorientation doesn't go away right away.

'i run up to the elite zap bot in the player list and stab it using the spear part of my flamingshortstrikeinatorofdoom causing a hole to appear in its outer layer and then shoot into said hole to fry its surcuits

The SURCUITS? No! The secret weakness of all zapbots! The elite zapbot is instantly destroyed! Completely dead! No more zapbot!

FAITH!

The DRAGOON JUMP, clearly inspired by the "Dragoon" class from some random fire emblem thing I played, and nothing else, uses the power of references to crush a poor-condition guardbot into dust!

did I seriously manage to miss two dops without noticing?
huh

anyways, I channel some form of EMOTION that I definitely have and am feeling right now
I EMOTE so hard that a cinema is added to the Dungeonscape, where the EMOJI MOVIE is the only film showing. All enemies are given free tickets, and feel compelled to not waste them by not going to the theater.

Yes, you did. Huh. I know the feeling, I've been there before.

Emoji Movie Theater added to the outer defenses! Every enemy will be given a free ticket, and has a chance to waste them watching the movie... there's now a 30% chance they'll be delayed by 2 turns, rolled along with the chance that new enemies will be delayed by 1 turn!

Free Action Focus - FAITH AND HOPE: I have faith and hope that we will make it through!

Action Focus - LEEEEEEEEROOOOOY: I LEEEEEEEEROY even more. Because WHY NOT?

FAITH! You have enough FAITH! The Faith healer receives another upgrade, getting to 100% health!

LEEROY! A guardbot is taken down from good to average condition!

Also, you get zapped, knocked out, and thrown back behind the walls. New dungeonscape enemy incoming!

FAITH!

The Render's power is increased! There's now no question its attack is anything but absolutely top-notch.

Your GUN totally fails to damage the enemies. Despite this, the tank still grows! It is now the megaGUN hopo ultimate blue tank! Is "hopo" a typo? I don't care!

The megaGUN hopo Ultimate Blue Tank now has a medium-strength attack of its own, in addition to its buffing abilities!

DAMNIT!! I missed 2 updates?
Moniker can I have actions retroactivly? I was thinking of something big but never got around to posting the action

Well, Evonix , hmm... alright, since you posted this turn, you can use 2 actions next turn. I hope that's enough.

----------

Your allies robots cover the area with supressive fire! Their attacks take out both remaining suppression bots, leaving just the guards and tranq sniper! Disco-Chan once again uses DISCO STAB, dealing another 5,000 damage to the Tranq sniper!

The enemies in the Main Hall finally get a chance to strike back! But their numbers have been reduced so much, they can't do much... the Tranq Sniper, covered in ranch dressing. still manages to fire a shot at one of the unprotected Players - Algot! He falls, and his allies quickly get him back up, but another Dungeonscape enemy is approaching! The enemy guards charge forward, and That_Random_Guy leaps out and intercepts one, using his Defensive Position along with Zapguard to totally deflect the guardbot's attack! But the other one manages to reach a long, electric pole out at another un-wall-protected Player; JOEbob collapses, maybe(?) stays asleep, and a new dungeonscape enemy spawns! Xerath stays safe behind a wall...

The Tranq sniper realizes the dire situation he's in, and speeds up! Next turn, he'll attack first, getting in a few last shots before Disco-Chan takes him out! Unless you stop him, that is.

Back in the cell blocks, the Shadows swim through the increasingly deep water, desperate to reach Ender_Smirk. They've split into two groups, the first of which will definitely hit his position by next turn if he doesn't move.

In the PG Suppression facility, the guardbot attempts to strike at the remaining Players there, but... the water finally hits a breaking point. The enemy suppression bot, guardbot, and worse, the suppression bot controls, all short-circuit from water damage. All enemy suppression bots, throughout the entire prison, suddenly shut down, the computer that control them no longer capable of giving them orders. Congratulations! The enemy is now totally incapable of getting reinforcements, at least with suppression bots.

The escape tunnel is definitely about to collapse... furthermore, the cell blocks are now essentially totally flooded, and the water is creeping into your side of the main hall battlefield. You doubt you could stop the flood now, even if you really wanted to.

Valla finally arrives in the PG suppression facility - but with it already flooded, her plan is ruined. She refuses to let any trace of regret entrap her, and she moves right to the Main Hall, observing the fight from a short distance away.

THE DUNGEONSCAPE:

Your allies quickly finish off the Massive Gobblebeast, and wait to see how many new enemies get past the outer dungeonscape defenses...

There are three new enemies coming in total. One of them slips literally immediately upon entering your defenses, dying brutally to the very first trap. The other 2 somehow resist the temptation of cake and the emoji movie, and make it to your front line! Meet... the Dark Controller, and the Dark Tank! "Tank", as in, they're shaped similar to the Tank variety of zombie. They are not actually a tank. The tank has some pretty intimidating defenses...

You can't help but feel like the Dungeonscape's attackers have been reduced to about one-fourth of their original number. But that last one-fourth is known as... the Elite Ten. They will destroy your defenses, if you give them any quarter at all. Be careful before you sleep...

-----------

Xerath: We're almost through. I can't believe it. We're... actually going to do this. I'm... I'm actually going to escape. And I might see Alice again...

Xerath: ...Players, listen. I know we had... a lot of disagreements, but... from now on, I want to help you. Really.

Xerath: Let that be your motivation. You'll have my cooperation, if we really do succeed and escape from this place!

It looks like your assault on the first floor of the dungeon is nearly finished! Make sure that the remaining guardbots die, and Disco-Chan will take care of the Tranq Sniper. Next turn, everyone will automatically advance to the second floor, and you won't be able to come back - so take care of any unfinished business now!

Also... this fight felt all too easy. Your momentum and preparation allowed you to clear the main hall easier than you might have otherwise been able to. But this can't be the last of the prison's defenses... there's definitely going to be some kind of boss fight on the next floor.
