Defeat The Godmodder

PBVRFDHCSP - IX
oh no! my relative was crushed!
oh, how very sad!
fool, I am a chessmaster.
my relative vanshes in a puff of smoke. an elevator appears above me, and its floor vanishes. the relative's corpse falls upon me (not the noose, the JObob). it is absorbed. it was actually a modified clone of me.
I proceed to mutate. I now have 2 more eyes, a nose, a right ear, a third arm, a business super-saian-hyper-megaformal suit on top of the godmodder brand one, and a tail.
weird.

if yes, or no but i can't change based on that, I guess jazz.

You yell out, "JAZZ"! At the top of your lungs, just as the godmodder recovers! You look at the game board tracking the words, waiting...

...

...

...

CORRECT!!

The word really is JAZZ! JOEbob has won the round! How odd. By computer simulation, "Jazz" was supposed to be the hardest possible word to guess in Hangman. Ah well.

The godmodder's body is teleported onto the noose. He glares at you. You won this round. From now on, he'll just turn these silly games for children. This was just a fun little jaunt. Speaking of fun, yours will end soon.

The godmodder is hung. He loses all his HP.

And JOEbob has emerged the ultimate winner of PBVRFDHCSP - Paradox Billiards Vostroyan Roulette Fourth Dimensional Hypercube Chess Strip Poker!

SIDEQUEST COMPLETE!

Rewards:
One Legendary Weapon from the godmodder's stash (Yorehammer by default - awarded to JOEbob)
One Charge Booster - added to Player Inventory

Note on the Charge Booster: Anyone can use it, and it'll double the rate at which your charges can increase. However, it's a bit... temperamental. Similar to the charge stones, in that regard. And if used a lot, it'll probably be useless. That said, it's reliable enough that you can get a fair bit of usage out of it.

Also, you don't get to use your cool new toy, and JOEbob doesn't return to the HEXAGONAFIELD, until the next turn, not the current one. So don't go editing your posts trying to use the Charge Booster right away for maximum efficiency.

FOCUS - DAB ON THE HATERS!

"Ow, the edge."

The boy channels the energies of another section of the Internet. A somewhat dead one, from which many cancers have spawned from. Some may know this as "six-second YouTube."

Yes, folks, I'm talking about Vine.

The boy dabs on the Soulraze Builders. It's Everyday Bro plays obnoxiously in the background, and their heads explode from how bad it is.

Update XLV
Focus:I place a large Magnifying glass right over the space the Soulraze Builders are and then THE SPACE LASER Fires right at the magnifying glass Doing MASSIVE damage to all the SoulRaze Builders

Also Arengith will improve the dodge rate of the space station

The Reinforcement Beacon also activates The Space mooks will each pick up a WMD and attack the Soulraze forces prioritizing the builders

Also i start a Charge.... 1/???

You have boosted the Space laser when it fires this turn! Arengith will do as you say! Reinforcement beacon will activate this turn!

Now this is my paradise. Everything is perfect for me. The weather, mood and everything. But only 5 rounds of ascendance?
This is far from perfect. Very far.

I need something without death. So I split this. Until there is unlimited small pieces.
A new form. To small to write this.
So who is writing this?

I stare at the screen. All this wasn't real. All this won't ever be able to affect my body. I am just a sack of flesh, slowly rotting.
I am me. And this is me.
What do I do now?

An old character is destroyed, a new one emerges. It is based on will for freedom, something that brought will for strength and anger at foreign power.
The 5 rounds of ascendance are distributed to an unlimited amount of time.

And it emerges.

Spectator: Where is that character of yours?

Moderator: You should say: That character is where.

Spectator: This is just a method to make you more powerful.

Moderator: In a way. But I am AG so it is all fine.

New Char: The World

Next 3 things the World is going to do are:

[ ] raise dodge chance of AG units by 1%

[ ] Create a new entity (write in)

[ ] help an entity (specify help)

[ ] write in

Moderator: this new character will take the actions with the most votes from AG aligned people

Goodbye

Edit:

Write The World (action) to vote

for example

The World helps the GodSlayer and shields him
It also summons an army of ants
It also charges the laser (2/1)

The World is preparing...

"Volunteer Flamethrower Division, attack the Soulraze Builders! Doormaker, keep protecting the Volunteer Flamethrower Division!"

FOCUS: 1324

I continue chanting. "one remains,"

12/21

(OOC: Unofficial Itinerary VIII:

Heal (heal, not harm) the Pain Monsters (done by CaptainNZZZ and Daskter)
Attack the Soulraze Foot Soldiers (done by CoreBrute)
Attack the Soulraze Builders (done by the Volunteer Flamethrower Division, MooGoesCow21, Daskter, and Cyanogynist)
Attack the Soulraze Guard
Attack the Soulraze Elite (done by Ranger_Strider_, Anderson, and Captain.Cat)
Attack the Soulraze Headquarters (is guarded by Xerath)
-Get the Yorehammer back from the Godmodder (done by JOEbobobob)
-N-minus-two-ify Xerath (done by MrMirrorMan)
Attack the Godmodder

Also, Moniker, I think you may have made a mistake with Doormaker.

From the turn before this one. Note the one attack shield.

Your response to my post where I ordered the bodyguard arrangement to continue.

Doormaker would probably qualify for background entity...

But what happened to the attack shield from this turn?)

Charging...

Ah, yes. Attack shield added.

"Well, well, well." The man smirked, before adopting a more polite and respectful smile and bowing to the Princess. Starcalibur, eh? Now that helped things along quite nicely. Allowed him to finish off his defensive preparations. After that, he'd more or less leave his Beacon to itself and focus on fighting. Soulraze troops? The Godmodder's main force? He didn't know much about this, but what he did know was that this should prove quite entertaining.

FOCUS 1 - DEFENSE DRONES

Wielding Starcalibur, the man was able to do two things at once. The first thing was simple, allowing him to create a stronger ordinary defense over time. It was a rather complicated yet sleek looking factory of some kind, that at regular intervals dispensed defensive drones from a hatch that cycled open and closed on its top. Whether it was actually building them or just teleporting the things in was unclear. Regardless, the drones were fast, maneuverable, somewhat armored and had no method of attacking. They were purely for blocking shots by getting between them and the shield or the Drone Factory. The Drone Factory would produce one Defense Drone every round until the beacon was either destroyed or summoned its ship, whereupon it would summarily detonate.

FOCUS 2 - SPATIAL WARPING

The second action was far more subtle, but no less useful. Should an attack successfully penetrate the defense lines and be about to destroy the Beacon, hidden runes would activate and twist the fabric of reality so the attacker was in fact far, far away, with the distance between them growing faster than they could close, even if they used lightspeed weapons such as lasers. This would save the Beacon from destruction, but only once. When the runes burned out, it would be fully vulnerable to attack once again. Still, it was better to have a last ditch defense than not, especially with Yorehammer around.

After this was done, he turned to the newly arrived players and yelled. "HEY! Cloak seemed to mention that he was from a previous group that used to be in our position. You guys also like that? You fought like us, lost and scattered until we showed up to show you scrubs how it's done?"

Last-ditch defense and Automatic Drone Defense factory added! It adds on one "attack shield" defense drone every other turn.

Ash: ...Scrubs?

Cera: It's as you say, more or less. Sometimes, with this godmodder, flight is the only real option.

Jamie: You aren't showing us how it's done! You let the godmodder get, like, three legendary weapons already! We're saving YOU!!

(With our Halloween action done, Other Arsenical's discovery that they are existing in text are removed. Love, Meta Arsenical.)

Across the horizon, an army approaches, not like there had been enough in this godforsaken war. And the summon was only at 30% completion!

"Damn it. He would've been powerful, but a much more short-term solution is needed."

While the summoning of Micheal Jordan may be too much to ask for, there can be another use for such powerful energies already bubbling deep inside our hero.

~~~
Over the battlefield, a heavenly voice rings out.
"I just detest a player, one who lacks that jammin' flow."
Blue and red energies coalesce in the atmosphere, shifting and morphing.
"I just detest a man afraid to slam the ball down low."
They begin to take shape, a humanoid form...?
"I always spend my evenings where there's glory, game and song..."
Twelve focus charges of a player are burned, and the being falls to the battlefield, hitting it with a magnificent BOOM!
"But like a player, I always bring my basketball along."
The powers of jam and slam. United after eons apart.
BASKETBALL GUARDIAN, TRAVELIUS
TRUE ALIGNMENT: [NBA]
TEMPORARILY: [AG]
TRAVELIUS has entered the battle, his appearance that of a chiseled ancient roman statue, with both long flowing hair and beard, clothed only in a simple tunic. "WHO HAS INVOKED MY NAME?" He yells, His voice like a thousand basketballs dribbling in unison.
Arsenical approaches. "I have. Destroy the Soulraze army. It is why I have invoked you."
Travelius nodded, and with that, the guardian of basketball was unleashed upon the soulraze army. May god have mercy on their souls.
Travelius Summoned!
"Well now, things certainly have become...interesting." I say, frowning as I look across the new arrivals to the HEXAGONAFIELD.
Looking over at the Pain Monsters I heal them with dozens of splash healing potions that appear around the Pain Monsters. (x1)
Next I improve the Wall's health, adding reinforced steel bars to it's outer surfaces. (x1)
Finally summon a Master of the Forge completely subservient to my will. As the most senior and skilled techmarine of a Adeptis Astartes chapter he's both a more potent fighter and a vetter builder/repair/researcher than any of the existing techmarines individually. (x1)
+3,000 HP to each Pain Monster! +6,000 HP to the Wall!
The godmodder heads over to Master of the Forge, and gives him a logical, well-reasoned, completely fake argument that when you said "subservient to MY will" you really meant "subservient to Xerath's will". He joins the Soulraze builders, as 10 builders.
3/3 I teleport back to my zoo and start upgrading my defences. I'm not letting my zoo get destroyed.
The zoo is now DEFENDED.
FOCUSING!
I SUMMON YOU! METEOR SHOWER The molten boulders rain fire and hell on the Soulraze Elite.
ANDERSON! Focus on the Elites!
Captain.cat boosts your attack! 25,000 damage to the Soulraze Elite!
needs threadmarking.
Moniker question: How much does the Portal Gun improve redirection actions. Is it 2 actions instead of 3 to completely redirect a entities attacks for the turn or something else?
I think it's close enough that it's fine without threadmarking... in any case, the Portal Gun makes it take less effort to fully redirect an attack. Redirecting takes more effort depending on the alignment of the entity and target - "PG will attack specific AG or N" takes less effort than "PG will attack other PG". It gives you a greater chance of success, though directing a PG towards other PGs will probably still take all three actions, directing PG attacks towards entities they might already have attacked anyways will take less than that. And for the Soulraze troops specifically, not only are they horde entities who have more resistance by default, they're also specially trained, powerful foes. Redirection is harder against them.
Marines open fire! On the builders.
Command Center start upgrading to an Orbital
I queue a 2 more barracks.
I cancel those orders and instead queue up another Command Center and then another barracks.
Actions:
I summon a bunch of explosives on the SR army for an explosive Entrance into this battle.
Then i finish the lowest hp pain monster with dropping medkits that instantly heal whoever needs healing and they still need plenty of healing.
New command center and barracks queued! +5,000 HP to each Pain Monster! 6 Footsoldiers slain!
I stare in silence at the new forces that now stand ready to do battle. 'Damn... This just got a lot more intense, I'm a bit lost as to what to do right now. I guess I'll play support until something comes to me. Hmm, what to help with.' I counture to watch outside the window of the bar as I stay braced against my crutch surveying the field. I look over at the Starcraft Army and see the slow pace it is going at. I shake my head at the pace. 'If they can't hurry up there just going to get swatted without a second thought, I guess I should lend a helping hand. I wish for 20 more SCV's to appear next the base and start helping Daskter and his army.' Suddenly 20 SCV's appear next to the Starcraft army base and they assisting their comrades in building up the base. They are totally loyal to Daskter.
Nodding I look over to the meteor shower that Ranger_Strider_ is summoning 'Hmm, Not much else I can do right now so I'll help in making the attack more damaging.' Closing my eyes I focus my remaining more into my next wish.
'I wish for the Meteor shower to be more damaging when it hits it's target!' Suddenly the meteor shower doubles in intensity as even more molten boulders join the fray as they hurl towards the Soulraze Elite!
Your wish wasn't as effective as you'd hoped... you get 3 new SCVs for the Starcraft forces!
I use the Portal Gun to redirect the attacks of the Soulraze foot soldiers into the Soulraze Headquarters
I use my left over action (I know that I have power leftover because it takes 3 actions to redirect a non-boss mob and the Portal Gun makes those actions more powerful) to partially redirect the attack of the Soulraze elite into the Soulraze Elite by using the Portal Gun to redirect its spear into its head. (I use similar methods on the Soulraze foot soldiers)
The soulraze foot soldiers, in momentary confusion, turn around to face Soulraze headquarters! They find Xerath staring in their path, and remember what they were supposed to do. 30 of the footsoldiers, though, are still confused. They're incapacitated, this turn. Your portal gun malfunctions, having already been used this turn! The soulraze elite is unaffected!
Xerath: Godmodder soldiers are anti-portal trained. You vastly overestimate the power of a tool that was whipped up in one turn. Try it on something weaker.
Sorry only for AG cause I am AG and cannot act against it.
The Godslayer gains a higher dodge rate. As I am the World, luck and dodging can be influenced. Space bends, time speeds up or slows down, gravitation changes and with it, directions.
Luck is best described as: The World prefers me or, the World is like I like it.
This is the reason Godslayer will sometimes not be hit by an attack, even if he should.
The World gains with three actions 300 Surrealism. 250 of it is spent on the dodge rate. The rest lingers and has an interest rate of 1%.
51 Surrealism gained (300 - 250= 50 50+1% =50,5 (rounded up) 51Surrealism)
Surrealism and it being spent can too be specified, but there will always be 50 to spare.
With this the World did its action.
The Godslayer is boosted with a permanent 10% base dodge chance!
Jamie: Thank you!!
CoreBrute was awestruck by the new ship coming to help them. He turned to Winry and said,
"It's time." He handed her a small item he kept on his keychain. "You know what you got to do."
"It's going to take time." She responded, clenching the small drill in her fist.
"Good things come to those who wait." The two nodded at each other before she hurried off to work.
OOC: Entity action-Winry is building something. It will take 3 turns.
BrutalCore looks pretty messed up from the last attack from the Godmodder. CoreBrute moves to help, but BrutalCore just grins at him.
"My healing factor no longer has to deal with Velocity 9 killing me. Now I can heal back to full."
"Well take your time, don't push yourself alright?" CoreBrute responded with concern.
BrutalCore will be spending this turn regenerating damage, using his Flash-esc healing factor.
CoreBrute rushed to Eevee's zoo, stopping when he came face to face with Eevee shadow bacon. He then pulled out the Resolute Heart.
"Eevee." He addressed them. "You've been acting erratically for a while now. I don't know what's happened to you, if you've always been secretly against us like HV was, or if the strain of fighting the Godmodder caused you to snap. However, before then you were always a loyal ally and someone I once considered a friend in this warsoaked field." He placed the Resolute Heart in Eevee's hand.
"I want to believe that good person is still in there. I hope this Legendary Weapon can help you showcase that to everyone." He then stepped back and looked around the zoo. "I really like this place. It takes someone special to decide to showcase nature's wonder, in such an unnatural place." He then turned and returned to the fight, not looking back to see how Eevee used the Legendary Weapon. It was literally out of his hands.
FOCUS ACTION 1, 2 and 3: Standing before the Soulraze army, CoreBrute felt the urge to laugh.
"Is this what the Godmodder considers Elite?" CoreBrute slammed his fists into the earth, grabbing on with intense strength.
"Do you really think so little of us?" And then he pulled. And pulled. As he did, the ground itself started to shake.
"WE." A large crack began to form in the earth where CoreBrute stood.
"ARE." The crack zig zagged forward towards the Soul Raze Guards, startling them, then towards the Elites.
"PLAYERS!" With a final heave of metallic hands, CoreBrute ripped the tectonic plates apart, creating a gaping maw where hundreds of the Soul Raze forces fell into. How could simple well equipped people stand against individuals strong enough to rend the world itself?
My targets are footsoldiers first, then if there's damage left over, the Guards, and then if there's damage left, the Elites.
Decided not to attack the Footsoldiers, becasuse That-Random-Guy said he's got this. So, Guards first, and any left over damage on the Elites.
I'd ideally like to target the entire Soul Raze army, but that would lilely dillute the effect, so I want to eliminate the groups that I can.
Winry is working! Resolute Heart given to Eevee Shadow Bacon! They're currently teetering on the edge of N-2, but they haven't fallen off just yet...
7 Soulraze guards killed!
ACTION:1/3
AMOUNT:3/3 FOCUSED
Something strange up with the alignment of Xerath? Hmm, the godmodder said that he know's how to keep his alignment at it's N+2 status, but that can't be, he's working directly against the interests of the AG, which means his alignment shouldn't be that high, he didn't do anything to earn it! So the answer must be that the godmodder must be CHEATING to keep it at N+2! Hahahahah, it was so simple to figure out, haha ha ha ... ha ... wait what.
Back on the battlefield, the mirror man with a clock for a face that owns a slot machine on the field of battle, those that would be looking in his direction would notice his. . . 'facial?' expressions change from contemplative to jolly, to . . pure, absolute rage and bloodlust. The dissonance is quite disconcerting.
Godmodder's perspective:I look up at the latest Threadmark Update with annoyance. Really, not so subtly tell them I did something to alter his [N] Meter, sure, they probably wouldn't have fallen for it at all, but it's the thought that counts. I suddenly feel an intense bloodlust directed at me from . . . the Mirror? What did I do to OH GOD HE'S RIGHT HERE! Before I can retaliate, the mirror has a hand around my neck and why haven't my anti-attack measures activated already, is quite a painful hold to be honest. He them speaks to me, saying "Do you not value the sacredness of a game? DO YOU HAVE NO RESPECT FOR HOW YOU PLAY A GAME! DO YOU EVEN PLAY BY THE VERY RULES YOU YOURSELF HAVE SET, CASTING THEM ASSIDE FOR A STUPID, BARELY-WORTH-IT BENEFIT, BECAUSE AS FAR AS I SEE, THEN XERATH BEING A [N+2] HAS NO BENEFITS, AS WE KNOW THAT THEY ARE OUR ENEMY! Do you know what I do to cheaters? I undo their cheating, and punish them for it." Your ears are ringing after the mirror's yelling, why does he care that much, he said it so himself, the AG can still attack the SR army, there is barely any benefit, besides being able to prevent them from attacking Xerath and forcing him over to the AG side. "I suppose you know that I'm a casino manager right?" the mirror man continues, and you end up nodding, despite yourself. "So you can understand why I HATE cheaters, as they make my life so stressful. So, I hope you understand why I'm going to have to do this." You realize that you haven't made any attempts to escape from the mirror man's during his entire rant, and you realize you are going to have to pay for that. The mirror man winds up a fist, and in instinct, you close your eyes. A few seconds pass, and nothing. . . and a few more, and still nothing. You open you eyes and see the mirror man rummaging around in one of his pocket's for something. . .with a third arm. You are starting to figure out why your defences didn't trigger. He isn't going to attack you, is he? You are proven right when he takes notice of you again. "Hmm? What, you thought I was going to hit you? Heavens no, I don't punish cheaters with violence." He says dropping you. "I just give them a penalty in the game their playing." And with that, a fist is sent forward by the mirror, punching into the >>>Update box!!!<<<, you suddenly realize what he is going to do, and before you can stop him, he is in the hole, and it seals up.
In the Update Box:All is quite in the update box, as it is a single place, with no living thing inside of it, or, well, IT WAS. There is now a mirror man in it, and he goes on over to one of the texts there, the one that reads "Xerath [N+2]". As he walks over to it, he pulls out a black pen and some white-out, splashing white-out on the [N+2], writing [N-2] in it's place. "Welp, as is now right with the world. . . Now how do I get out."
Your rant and reality-warping alignment-changing takes Xerath down to N+1! Looks like you accidentally changed the "2" instead of the "+"... The godmodder makes Xerath immune to any further forcible alignment-changing. Now only he can make choices to reduce his own alignment.
Cera: You know how in videogames with morality systems, if you pet a dog to gain 1 morality point, and you need 1,000 morality points to achieve true goodness, all you need to do is pet a dog 1,000 times? That, plus a healthy dose of godmoddery, is how Xerath is where he is. He won't change alignment unless he acts directly against the AGs. And somehow, protecting the Soulraze troops that are specifically attacking the AGs counts as "indirectly".
Xerath: ...
FOCUS - DAB ON THE HATERS!
"Ow, the edge."
The boy channels the energies of another section of the Internet. A somewhat dead one, from which many cancers have spawned from. Some may know this as "six-second YouTube."
Yes, folks, I'm talking about Vine.
The boy dabs on the Soulraze Builders. It's Everyday Bro plays obnoxiously in the background, and their heads explode from how bad it is.
"BUT WHAT IF THE HATERS DAB BACK????"
The Soulraze Builders dab back. Cyanogynist promptly compulsively blocks them on Twitter.
DAB BATTLE ensues! Cyanogist and the hating builders dab and dab and dab! They dab so hard, 25 of them die!
-------
Cera, Ash, and Jamie all give the Godslayer attack shields!
Xerath gives the Soulraze Elite an attack shield!
Xerath: Not doing anything that would be against the AGs, no... just protecting my own entities.
V:
The Pain Monsters all tear into the Soulraze guard, killing 15 of them!
AG:
Soulraze guards get in the way of AG entity attacks this turn!
The space station fires the SUPER LASER! The guard take the brunt of the attack, and with MooGoestheCow's magnifying glass, they lose 14 of their number in the process! 5 space mooks are deployed! A weapon of mass destruction is produced, the VFD get a new attack shield, and the Starcraft army progresses. Brutalcore gets 10,000 HP, and Winry works on her invention.
The VFD, seasonal units, Anderson, and Travelius launch themselves at the Guard forces, knowing their attacks won't get through aimed at anyone else! They kill 22 guards total!
The Godslayer rains fire and blood from afar! 14 more guards are slain!
PG:
The Soulraze builders get 5 new friends from HQ, and split their efforts between their projects. With luck, they can complete several at the same time.
The Soulraze Elite takes 20 foot soldiers, and they go after the Seasonal Units! It's brutal. Summer, Winter, Spring... all dead.
An additional 15 foot soldiers split off and head towards Hungry Visitor's Mass Destruction factory. It too, is destroyed.
Of the remaining 29 non-incapacitated soldiers, 10 attack Arengith (10,000 damage), 10 head over to the Space Station and butcher some Space engineers (100 dead), and the last 9 manage to corner Anderson, dealing 9,000 damage to him.
The Soulraze guard, in less good condition but still strong, comes up after the footsoldiers! They surround Travelious and begin smacking him around, dealing 10,500 damage to him.
Many more Soulraze troops are still arriving on the field. 20 new footsoldiers, 30 new guards, and a new Soulraze elite appears!
The godmodder is quite pleased with the display. He reminds Xerath that CaptainNZZZ is a major threat, and that as an [N] player, he can be attacked without jeopardizing Xerath's N+1 status. Though annoyed at his delay and lack of Legendary Weapons, he has faith that his army will win the day. Right, Xerath?
Xerath: Right...
The godmodder continues on his Project Charge.
Also, he sends the anti-Eevee pokemon, GYARADOS, at Eevee shadow bacon to retrieve the Resolute Heart!
N:
The Skeletal Warrior sees his chance! Drawing on the last of the healing power CaptainNZZZ gave him, he strikes at the Pain Monsters, giving both of them 3,000 HP! This kills the 18,000 x 2 Pain Monster! Hurrah!
The reinforcement beacon is shining just a little more than last turn.
The Meister replaces all the soulraze builder's spleens with balls of pure toxicity. After a glorious speech on not needing spleens and how the balls of toxins actually gives them the ability to inflect (carefully mispronounced as "inflict") poison-based debuffs, they all die of the black plague. Since, y'know.
No spleen = weakened immune system.
Hmmmmmm, so they aren't cheating, just abusing a loophole in the game's design. . . discontent grumbling sigh, while not as bad as cheater's this type of shenanigans are still annoying, but I can't be mad. Seeing as there is only one more Pain Beast, I trap it in a box, preventing it from taking actions, because I am curious if I can tame this beast. It can be useful if working for the N side.
The World:
351 Surrealism is available. The World loses 100 Surrealism, because the Cult eats Reality. 251 Surrealism is available.
Now any AG can vote for a maximum of 3 The World actions.
that mem'ry left so far behind: 10/15 (boosted once by charge booster)
wait, is the player info saying I'm closer to N+1 or N-1? because I don't think I've actually done anything against the AG's yet, so if its -1 thats... weird.
Now, I couuuuuld attack the headquarters... but I could also attack the godmodder, and I dislike him more. plus, I don't even know what the headquarters do so...
action [1x] Physics, Physics, physics. I wonder if you can tell where I'm going with this?
I freeze time.
more accurately, I freeze time for the godmodder, as well as every molecule exactly 6 meters from a part of his body, assuming his body is 2 meters tall & wide or less.
(he'd be able to resist, but my time-freeze is based on my mental choice of target, so he can't dodge, and yorehammer stops it from being blocked or protected against.)
this means the godmodder is time-frozen, and is also encased in a orb of timefroze matter.
as such, I could not attack him if I tried; Timefrozen stuff can't move, its time frozen! that stops its momentum! that makes the orb nigh-indestructible and impassible.
I proceed to get a chair, a recliner which is particularly comfy, and sit in it. time to read a good book. how about... eh, I'll read an online harry potter ripoff, not like I've got anything better left to read.
time passes.
I finish the book. this takes about 32 hours.
somehow, no significant battlefield effects happen during this time, and the godmodder remains timefrozen, as does the orb around him.
I forgot to mention earlier, but its also a very hot and sunny day at the moment. so I'm a bit sweaty. as I wipe off the sweat, I accidentally end the time-freeze.
the orb of stuff stays more or less the same position its already in, though it can now move and no longer blocks movement by things.
the godmodder, meanwhile, is instantly crushed from the outside in, into a stick-figure-like shape of crumpled matter... or his atoms just scatter, not sure.
Physics!
every time an air molecule bumped into the godmodders time-frozen body, it lost the momentum it had that was moving it in that direction, and transferred this momentum to the godmodder.
being time-frozen, the godmodder's atoms or parts could not be moved by this, so they just... keep the momentum. energy's not created or destroyed after all, so it has to go somewhere.
the orb is being bumped into equally from both sides, more or less, so the momentum it had doesn't do that much, aside from making every atom there move in a functionally random direction at a high speed and do pretty much nothing.
the godmodders atoms, however, only have non-timefrozen stuff on one side; only that side of the atom can be bumped into, and it can only get momentum from atoms moving towards that side, and pushing In.
the sun kept the momentum from running out, and the heat meant there was more momentum to begin with.
suppose you poked a iron breastplate once. no damage, right?
suppose you did this 9283 times. still pretty much no damage, right?
suppose you took the force of that poke, and multiplied it by 9283 times.
that would be probably more force then a large rock falling on the armor, and its all in a single point. lotsa damage.
so every part of the godmodders body experiences, over a single planck instant, 2.13706924698e+48 times the force it would normally experience in the same instant, and all this force is pushing inwards. since its a hot day, thats another x3 or so probably, but thats pretty much negligible. the godmodder has been crushed.
action [x1] smaller attack.
I hit the godmodder with the best hammer in the world.
the godmodder proceeds to steal the hammer.
I ask him why he bothered.
he says yorehammer is a legendary weapon and he needs those.
the best hammer in the world explodes and rips his hands to shreds
I point out that thats not yorehammer, its the best hammer the world! it tastes amazing and explodes if the person who holds it is capable of being harmed and has no plans to eat it. I am currently incapable of being harmed, the godmodder is not.
the best hammer in the world was determined as the best by a society of compulsive everything-eaters, who eat everything. its the first hammer to taste good, so they love it.
and this is an attack by me, so it still gets the yorehammer bonus.
Ash: ...Scrubs?
Cera: It's as you say, more or less. Sometimes, with this godmodder, flight is the only real option.
Jamie: You aren't showing us how it's done! You let the godmodder get, like, three legendary weapons already! We're saving YOU!!
"Yes, scrubs." The man says. "If you weren't scrubs, we wouldn't have to be winning for you. And yeah we've gotten three Legendary Weapons. Do you know how many he currently is using? Zero, because we have them all right now. Your giant overpowered doomship is a great help to the AGs and all, but if you think we couldn't clean up these Soulraze noobs alone then you're dead wrong. These line forces the Godmodder has are damn impressive, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing we can't handle." He raises Starcalibur high, pointing it skywards. "Speaking of, I should do something about them."
FOCUS - MAIN BATTERY, ACTIVATE!
Far away in a flying fortress the size of a city, a woman noted an energy spike on the distant battlefield. Sighing, Amelia rose to her feet, and grimaced as needles filled with green fluid plunged into her neck, allowing her to feel her face again and confirming that yes, it hadn't rotted off when she wasn't looking. Good thing a more permanent cure was on the way was the immediate thought that came to mind. She walked over to one of the many command consoles of the bridge, a variety of buttons and switches that were all under one label, printed on a platinum plaque at the top - "MAIN BATTERY ACTIVATION CONTROLS".
What followed was a long and elaborate process.
Three central switches were flicked upwards with one hand as Amelia deftly used her other to grab a lever and yank it downwards. Green lights began to blink on at places in the panel while a handle jerked up from its resting place. Grabbing the handle, the already somewhat exasperated woman twisted it sideways before pushing it back down, then proceeding to input a passcode on a number pad near the top left of the array of items. She pressed her finger down on a raised button next to some sort of tiny hatch while also beginning to wave her hand over a stone circle, seemingly out of place amidst the various bits of technology. Various runes at the edge lit up a bright yellow in a seemingly random order, if you didn't know what was said, and when they were all burning bright the center of the circle shot up a beam of light to the ceiling.
As this was happening, the fingerprint scanner had finished scanning and authorized Amelia for access. As soon as her finger was safely out of the way, a small tube shot up, the curved metal plate in front sliding away to reveal a gently glowing blue interior. Pointing her left hand that had just touched the scanner upwards, a small distortion in spacetime appeared just above the surface and began to move upwards, leaving in its wake a blue crystal. Uneven, but mostly just the right size and shape to fit inside the open tube. He other had clenched into a fist and twisted, causing the light above the stone circle to twist into a double helix formation before collapsing back into the center of the circle. The runes on the edge had changed in shape completely, and also color. Now they glowed a bright but still ominous red instead.
The blue crystal had fully formed, revealing it to be the correct height for insertion. The distortion in space disappeared by itself, and the crystal continued to hover above Amelia's hand. Soon, it simply moves in a straight line over to the tube, the blue of the crystal matching well with the blue glow of the containment unit. The metal plate slid back over the hole, sealing it shut once again, and the tube descended back into the console, beginning to spin and then whine as it powered up. The miniature hatch snapped shut over it, removing the issue of noise and glow, and also for safety purposes of any small robo-kittens that happened to be on the bridge, although there weren't any right now.
The large command table at the center of the room finally turned on, displaying a holographic image of the main battlefield. Dots of various sizes and colors appeared, most constantly moving, all labeled with a name, those she took an interest in having lines drawn up from their dots to boxes of various known abilities such as toughness and ability to do damage in convenient numerical format. One white dot, her, hmm, eccentric friend she'd call him, was the source of the energy pulse. More accurately, it was the sword he was holding. There was also a secondary energy ping of the same frequency. The actual ping, the first was just him using the sword. So, there was a large amount of grey dots, Soulraze Forces, the Godmodder's army. They were her target.
She pressed a hand against the table, and a yellow circle appeared. A few quick motions had it rise up, revealing that it was actually a stack of yellow circles. Another handful of gestures had the various circles slam down over a large section of grey dots, turning transparent and listing off various numbers, such as expected damage and terrain deformation. Those circles represented blast radii. Now it was time for the actual attack to begin.
FOCUS - MAIN BATTERY, FIRE!
The outer surfaces of what was essentially the figure's house seemed plain, but contained secrets. Down near the middle of the thing a variety of secondary railgun batteries sat. Impressive, but fairly ordinary. Higher up on the inward sloping surfaces lay the main weapons, even if they were not obviously visible.
A vast section of plate, kilometers of metal, slid down, revealing themselves to be separated across almost imperceptible lines with the rest of the armor, for it was not one continuous piece. It seemed ever so slight in comparison to the scope of the thing, but it was quite a few meters down rail tracks. Then, the plate split into two, one half sliding up and the other down, revealing the weapon batteries underneath to the world. Red lights flashed as alarm klaxons blared while the automated procedures activated, a vast array of guns sliding upwards to the surface on vast tracks, platforms rising up as shells were shifted around into position by an array of robotic arms, holding racks and pistons. When the array of ammunition and guns reached the surface, two parts stuck further out still. The cannons themselves were raised above their usual space flush with a massive internal bulkhead, allowing the squat weapons to stretch out along extendable rails, exposing the interior of them to the light. Also emerging from this plate were large pistons opposite the cannons, and in between the two were holes, beneath which was a shell for each cannon and another piston to push it up.
The pistons pushed the shells up and then in the cannons across the vast array of them. Click clack.
The cannons rose up, assuming firing position. Behind them, circular doors had cycled open and revealed massive pillars. Click.
The pillars fell back down, firing the cannons. As one, a large number of shells fired off, the recoil compressing the cannons back down to their squat original form, before once more spreading out their plates. Boom click.
Then, of course, they descended back down to loading position as the vertical pillars behind them silently rose back up. Click. And the cycle repeated itself.
Click clack click boom click click.
Click clack click boom click click.
Click clack click boom click click.
Clickclackclickboomclickclick.
All of this towards the aim of destroying the Soulraze Foot Soldiers utterly. As the artillery fire landed, each shell detonated. They all contained powerful plasma warheads, so with each wave that landed a new row of newborn suns flared up in the midst of the unfortunate foe, doing more damage with both shockwave and raw burning heat, devastating the foe that was caught in the barrage. After it was done, the Soulraze Foot Soldiers might still be around, but they would be significantly reduced. After a heavy firing of the primary batteries, and the many plasma shells that landed and detonated, with not a single dud among them, the vast array of firepower slid back down as the plating moved back into place. Soon the weapons were invisible once again, as if nothing had ever happened. The evidence, of course, was in the scorched hexagons and much reduced number of opposing troops.
These were the Godmodder's main army, mightier than his Sealed units and other minions. It was time to see how well the new Players could fare against such foes. Hopefully, the answer was pretty well.
(This is just a six action attack on the Foot Soldiers. Thank you, Starcalibur! Speaking of.)
The man looks at the sword and smirks. That's pretty much his lot for now though, since he can feel his lifeforce being drained significantly. He looks around before shrugging, and decides to give the weapon to one of the AGs. Hmm, picking one at random, and-
You!
Arsenical has been given Starcalibur by EternalStruggle. This means he has six actions, but only starting next turn.
I take hold of the legendary artifact and game at its beauty. As I continue to stare, I feel my sanity slowly start to reconstruct itself. "This....this what true sanity feel like. I had forgotten up until now" I whisper. I turn my gave toward the filthy, lying GM partner and his lying alignment. This filled me with great rage, so I decide that maybe, just maybe, I should rejoin the AG side again. Not yet, but soon.
[1/3] I turn to the dab battle and seeing the god-forbidden memes fills me with fury. I take my ledgenary weapon and exploit it's power. Since it removes both curses and buffs, it must have picked up quite a bit of lingering after-effects, unable to do anything, but still there. I carefully search for the one that I need, and apply it to Little_Hunter. Now, until I personally remove it, a finger will always be direct floating exactly 1 centimeter from the front of his face and a small, but annoying voice will endlessly chant, "I'm not touching you" directly into his ears.
"Marines open fire! On the builders". (ooc nothing was mentioned about this last turn...)
The 2 marines by some miracle actually managed to murder a Builder because nobody was looking when they hit a lonely Builder and filled him with bullets, not really healthy.
Oh I didnt notice the SR Guards blocked our attacks,
Actions.
I sneakily got past all the Guards and sabotage the Shield Generator while it is still under construction meaning it should be much more fragile than it should be.
"Travelius! You can't die now!" Arsenical says. The twelve charge summon was a lot of work put into a summon, all that work would go to waste! He needs health, a supporter, and only one person could be like that...
Out of his pocket, an ASTERISK is revealed, the stuff of legends. They allow you to freely change your CLASS, depending on which asterisk you hold. He only had a few of them, but this one was certainly going to come in handy.
Arsenical quickly changes his CLASS from FREELANCER to WHITE MAGE, his well-worn sweatshirt and other casual clothing being traded for a white robe and a fine hood.
"Comfy. I like it."
With the change invoked, he casts two spells: First, AEROGA is cast upon the Soulraze guard, the winds cutting through their armor and forcing them away from TRAVELIUS, while Arsenical heals the after mentioned basketball guardian with a significant blast of CURADA.
The godmodder is quite pleased with the display. He reminds Xerath that CaptainNZZZ is a major threat, and that as an [N] player, he can be attacked without jeopardizing Xerath's N+1 status. Though annoyed at his delay and lack of Legendary Weapons, he has faith that his army will win the day. Right, Xerath?
Xerath: Right...
Rolling my eyes at the Godmodder's predictable behavior I sigh, it's difficult to keeping growing as an independent power when certain beings kept being problematic!
FOCUS - Redirection Is The Best Direction
I subtlety manipulate reality for a single turn lasting double layered ability. The primary effect is should Xerath attack me and/or my entities this turn they attack will be redirectioned to instead hit a random AG player.
The secondary effect, only showing up if Xerath doesn't attack me and/or my entities this turn or if there's enough power left after redirecting Xerath's attack, is reflecting attacks aimed at me and/or my entities back at whoever is attacking, leaving whatever was attacked safe and whatever attacked harmed by their own attack.
[SR]Soulraze Foot Soldiers: 1,000 x 114 HP, 500 x 114A
Soulraze Elite: 30,000/30,000 HP, 10,000A, Special: Dual Stab (ready in 2!)
[N+1]Xerath (bodyguarding Headquarters)
[SR]Soulraze Headquarters: 100,000/100,000 HP (+5 builders each turn)
Oncoming reinforcements (reinforcing SoulRaze forces every turn for 3 more turns)
On the entity side I things I decide to exploit an massive flaw in the Soulraze forces. As my entities are all neutral the Soulraze guards can't get in the way of their attacks as they're only getting in the way of all AG attacks.
Grinning I order my Thunderhawks and Undead Warriors to attack the attack shielded Soulraze Elite, the Thunderhawks taking away his attack shield and the Undead Warriors killing him. (if that Soulraze Elite is dead they'll instead attack the Soulraze Builders)
The Eagles, one of the Custom M1 Abrams' attacks and the Weak skeletons all go for the Soulraze Builders.
The second attack of the Custom M1 Abrams will hit the in construction Shield Generator.
[2/3] I tighten my grip on the heart and tackle Xerath. I activate the heart, saying "N-1 and N+1 sure are similar to buffs and debuffs, let's change that shall we?"
The heart strips us of our alignment, leaving us at a solid N. I quickly dropkick Xerath as he is shocked from the attack and teleport back to my zoo, yelling "THE GM CAN'T PROTECT YOU FROM A LEGENDARY WEAPON!"
The Meister simply pulls out a single needle, and cuts a slit in the side of the finger before him, moments before the finger unravels into fabric, and the voice is suddenly choked by blood, before seemingly dying. The slit travels... into a soulraze elite, who falls apart.
He simply ignores the rickroll, instead of using the top-secret, one-turn-costing SUPER SECRET RICK ROLL BANISHMENT RITUAL:tm:.
"What blatant hypocrisy, and complete ignorance. If you could see worth a sheep's brain, you'd see the dabber was your dear friend Terry and the Soulraze Builders, not me."
