Defeat The Godmodder

OOC: Moniker can you remind me what N-1 means? We can't hurt him yet, but something else triggers right?

Also, do people want me to deal with the puppy permanently this turn, or do we want to keep it around? Cause he's helped most of the time.

Alright CoreBrute, you focus on the Godmodder, and I will focus on this puppy. I might have an idea on how to deal with the puppy permanently. KEY WORD: MIGHT

Following is a scene butchered from another death scene
(I do not own this scene or the game)

Who are you again? (blood rage sure is strange)

(gulp) y-you will be better off now...

Am I the one that did that to you? (I sure hope I am)

No... it was my choice ... to go away now (maybe I should have run away?) better that, than just do nothing and let the violence have its way (at least I tried)

I belong to you (that strong bond makes me feel dizzy) and now I am going back ... to join you

*stuffs chunk of flesh inside his mouth*

Harvey (I can call you Harvey can I?) ... I need you ... to do me a favor

All those souls inside me ... the cult ... set them free

Your Cult? Free it? Why waste completely fine energy like that?

It is too late for you to undo your mistakes, but you can't simply consume ... them

this is goodbye ... I hope I don't have to see you again inside your cult

and of course those tortured souls too (they scream and cry... so sad)

you both were my parents ... but I hate you ... never forget

*looks not convinced*

its the truth.

... NO. What else would I value to eat besides souls?

*bites off Initiator's head*

"Initiator" (Rest In Guts)

He healed snowball.
Also Harvester has motives besides that. He now just harms potentially harmful Neutrals, PGs and the Godmodder, because he can't harm the AG Faction.
Initiator was doing the worst you could do in Harvesters eyes. Heal everyone indiscriminately.
Edit: also slight powerboost. And three actions for "genocidal" Harvey.

The moment I saw the great wall rising up from the ground, I was satisfied in knowing that Merlin was being protected(Even though he is only on 1 HP, LOL)!

I turn to look at the cute puppy and it was staring right at me with those Beaty eyes. I start to think for a moment why the puppy wasn't attacking the snowball. I assumed the puppy didn't like the cold taste of the monster. "Crap!" I whispered to myself as I was one of the only people who could deal with this, mistake!

I remembered previously that I put the puppy to sleep with my three-story-mansion-sized bagpipes. But I had to be smart in knowing that if the puppy remembered how the bagpipes sounded, they would be much less effective!

Going off of this, I bring out finely crafted flute about 15 meters long that was tuned perfectly and the general size of a school bus! It had to be huge so the sounds produced would be loud enough to put the puppy into a snooze. one action will be spent playing of course!

Now here's the kicker! Using the other two actions, I will pull out a needle with an anti-cute-puppy poison that when the puppy is in the snooze, I'll inject him with it!

So I will basically try to euthanize the puppy with a substance that will be sure to permanently put it down!

IMPORTANT NOTE: If I am not able to properly snooze it with my beautiful tune, I will hand someone else the needle with the poison to hopefully find a different way to deal with this damn puppy!

Um, guys? We really should pay more attention to converting the army men. At the moment, 100 machine gunners are going to appear in 2 turns, and since each one has 200 attack without any upgrades from the godmodder, well, we really really should make sure the army men are converted to our side by then. Since there are 3 turns left and a FOCUS has previously accelerated Merlin by 1 turn, I think 3 of us should put 3 action into speeding Merlin (using distinctly different methods: see spoiler for my ideas) and 1-2 actions from other people to make sure Merlin doesn't die seems like a good idea.

  1. Block the Godmodder's control over his thralls then tell them to stop actively making the machine gunners this turn. The idea here is that 'the plastic soldiers don't get anything done for a turn' is effectively the same as Merlin speeds up by 1 turn. Also the plastic soldiers may even attack a PG unit while they-re free. (note: it may occur to you that this method may be used to stop the development of all those machine gunners altogether. I don't really like that, another 20,000 damage per turn is well worth the extra actions necessary to de-thrall the plastic soldiers before the machine gunners actually can act)
  2. In a similar vein to the previous idea, on a turn different from the one where idea 1 is used, some combination of teleportation and stealth could be used to slow down the machine gunner building by 1 turn. Considering the comparatively smaller effect, this may be effective with just 1 action.
  3. Maybe we could use that wish/other charge stones sitting in the player inventory to simply end the thrall effect. (If someone does that, please include some detail. 'Not enough detail' would be a horrible way to lose something like a wish.
  4. Put some sort of mind-control rune weakener/PG-magic dampener over the Plastic soldiers so Merlin has a easier job.
  5. Create a rune-magic-computer to help Merlin with his efforts.
  6. Help unravel the mind-control effect on the Plastic Soldiers
All this having been said, I'm not actually entirely sure what to do with my actions. Does anyone else have ideas?

OOC:
I missed the last update, so we've still got the dragonball wish with two focused actions fueling it available this turn.

Ideas welcome.

I was thinking about maybe turning StarCalibur sentient and giving it a desire for freedom, that way we could permanently deny the Godmodder a vital piece of their plan for good (and all those extra actions) and either get a big neutral entity, something willingly joining/cooperating with the AG side to get even with the GM or at least keep the GM occupied a whole lot more than him just needing to steal it back once. If he ends up getting another of the legendary weapons to face down with it, then he burns even more actions.

Alternatively I was thinking of making a universal law that keeps everyone from mindcontrolling a summon/entity the turn it was summoned. Giving all things at least one use before the GM converts them. But that seems a bit bland.

These are some good ideas, though I feel we probably should save them for when everything is a bit less on fire. Maybe there could be a OOC thread containing a post where all this stuff is compiled. Due to the nature of Defeat the Godmodder, original ideas are arguably our most valuable strategic resource.

On the subject of my idea, I am considering going and putting together a wish+3 actions+chargestones+get Merlin to help super-action to make it so that any effort on the godmodder's part to make an entity act according to his wishes require at least 2 turns of actions. (Or something else to that effect)

It had to be long so I can play at any pitch.

Here is the question: how on earth are you going to play a 15-metre-flute?

I was thinking about maybe turning StarCalibur sentient and giving it a desire for freedom, that way we could permanently deny the Godmodder a vital piece of their plan for good (and all those extra actions) and either get a big neutral entity, something willingly joining/cooperating with the AG side to get even with the GM or at least keep the GM occupied a whole lot more than him just needing to steal it back once. Initiator would have sealed it or banished it into a prison-dimension.

Alternatively I was thinking of making a universal law that keeps everyone from mindcontrolling a summon/entity the turn it was summoned.

Natural law was already done. If you do it twice it won't be as effective.

What about using things that are already there? Insert Harvey (who is lusting after blood right now) into the snowballs place and you will significantly harm it and fuel the rage before it cools down.

Seeing the damage done to are I let out a curse "Fucking hell." 'We need a way to patch up our guys wounds and Merlin needs to be patched up Asap, lets see can't do a medic because the Godmodder or someone else will likely just insta-kill them and i can't just get a crate of healing items because the Godmodder will likely sabotage them to poison whoever uses them.' I rub my mustache in thought until a idea enters my mind. 'Hmm, Got it!' I start focusing all my will into my next wish.

FOCUS - Healing Tower

'I wish for a Tower that gives off a surge of energy to all allied AG forces healing them back to full health!' Suddenly a the ground shakes and from the ground Surges a Tower! the tower rises high into the air until its about 6 stories tall, then from the top of it a Beacon emerges. It has a bright blue light at the top of it and glows with great intensity, then with a loud electronic "CLEAR!" Yells out from unknown voice and the Beacon lets out a visible wave of blue energy passing through AG summons! As the Wave passes through them the AG summons they visibly look less tired and their wounds start healing at frankly magical speeds until they all look as though they had never been hurt in the first place.

"Well hot damn!" I say with a smile be i turn my gaze back to the beacon, looking at it i see the light on the Beacon is not a dull red and it lowers back into the tower and the same electronic voice earlier speaks "Procedure Finished, Recharging Healing emitter!"

OOC: One of you guys should make a Frisbee or something like that as to keep the Puppy cuddly, maybe throw the Frisbee at the Army men base seeing that it is protected from the next 2 attacks.

Put some sort of mind-control rune weakener/PG-magic dampener over the Plastic soldiers so Merlin has a easier job.

"Hmm. That might work," I think, "but the Foundation doesn't have much experience with that sort of thing, though. The Coalition, on the other hand..."

I quickly whip out an interdimensional communicator, and call Dr. Panagiotopolous. "Hello?" I ask. "Ah, good, you're there. Is this a bad time? No? Well, I need something to dispel a magic-caused mind control effect. Now, the Foundation doesn't have that sort of thing last I checked, so I need you to get in touch with the Gock and request that. Request it through someone assigned to a magic skip, though. We can't be too careful when it comes to keeping the Gock from discovering the Database. On it's way? Already? Oh, you used one of those glass balls? Alright then."

A portal opened nearby, and a device resembling a television set slid through, with what appeared to be a user's manual on top. The portal then closed.

"Perfect! Now to just read the manual... Alright, you need to wait for it to detect the magic in the area, then tune it like so, then activate it... and then... And yes, I think it's working!" I exclaim.

(OOC: I'm FOCUSING on this action. It's basically just me using an anti-magic device to reduce the power of the Godmodder's magic mind control, thus lowering how long Merlin has to work. Also, can someone else please spend a FOCUS on getting the Army Men back onto our side? If you do, then they'll come back onto our side this turn and maybe even be able to attack.)

I FOCUS, messing with the Unsealed Snowball's very being, making it so that the Unsealed Snowball is not only unable to be healed but also takes damage from attempts to heal the Unsealed Snowball, including healing from it's own regen.

I order the undead warriors and the eagles to attack the Unsealed Snowball to make sure the Unsealed Snowball keeps being damaged, it needs to die before it gets too powerful.

I finish my charge and yell at the top of my lungs,
"I summon thee, The Lucid Dream, The Beast with a Thousand Maws, The Fiend of a Thousand Faces, The God of Death, That Which Must Not Be Named,
Yogg-Saron!!!!!"
A hole in the ground forms, and the greatest and most evil of the (WoW) elder gods comes forth, maws nashing and twisted words not meant to be heard, are echoed across the battlefield.

I will play the bus-sized, 15-meter flute by expanding my mouth, my arms, and my fingers so I can play this beautiful masterpiece!

It's my summon, of course it's loyal.
Herp-a-derp, of course a 14-charge summon is loyal. Sorry. I should of realized.

I read Chapter 5: Players versus Godmodders, because it is probably important to Chapter 8.

FOCUS

For my 3 actions this turn, I devote my attention to reaching into the spell-weave/rune network that controls the plastic soldiers and ripping it to bits. Well, not quite ripping, because that could hurt the soldiers, but certainly doing my best to make the outer edges fray and unravel so Merlin's job is easier.

After that, I use 1 charge stone to heal/reinforce Merlin. My method for doing so is to simply bend the power within the Charge Stone to making his wounds knit together, replenish blood, and finally give him impressively durable Skin-like-wood. (Skin-like-stone is a bit out of the 'price range' of a partly-depleted charge stone) (OOC: just interpret this as a healing action)
