Defeat The Godmodder

"For Godmodder's sake Eevee shadow bacon." Deo says exasperated as he sees they've ignored them and still go for the pad I'm opening. "You selfish, wasteful, anthropormorphic furry loli. FINE I'LL CHOOSE SOMETHING ELSE!"

Deo checks the email.exe instead of the legendaryweaponsnotes.pad, muttering expletives under his breath. "I'm starting to see why players went neutral, razzle frazzle, doesn't realise if I open it we both get to see, razzle dazzle."

OOC: It's fine, don't worry about it. The GM has so many posts to go through, they usually miss something/only check the first post, hence why I edited my original post. Let's leave it as it is-they might have already started writing the side quest update.

Besides what's the worst that can happen? The stress slowly turns Deo to the neutral side? Hahahahahahahaha-too many laughs, now I'm genuinely concerned for Deo.

Update XXIV
*Cough* You missed me, Moniker. *Hack*

Nope, didn't miss you. I don't quote posts that are just buildup (ie: "I put 2 of 5 actions needed towards something", or "I shield my next act from backfiring"). I can put that stuff on your player list entry, though, if you'd like.

I Focus on healing Examon and Examon will attack the Summoning beacon

The Space engineers will Build a Space station it is a high health entity that can only be attacked if your in space it can also be modified

All new Space engineers are now working on a space station! +10000 HP to Examon! He will attack the beacon!

Action 1: I put a attack shield on examon.

Examon has been attack shielded!

Since the Godmodder was damaged, I make a grab for Starcalibur! (Action 1)

I keep summoning Oryx(Action 2), and make sure that it it isn't interfered with!(Action 3)

Godmodder damage that comes from "event" purposes, rather than players, does not make the godmodder lose his grip on Starcalibur! He's tough like that.

Well hell hell. Lets test this bad boy out shall we?

I use two of my actions on the temporal condenser. Creating two Charge stones. Then I put them, and the temporal condenser into the player inventory.

"Somebody wanna take those out and use em?"

"Wanna see if my concept worked"

Two "charge stones" appear, and go into the player inventory! Go ahead... try and use them... haha...

I de-random Cyber
I heal Cyber
I also add more amour around him

Cyber dragon de-randomized, +4000 current HP, +1000 max HP!

Action 2: I summon a temporary 9-barrel RPG launcher, and procede to do my utmost to destroy the Summon Beacon.

4000 damage to the summon beacon!

- I summon a Devil Fruit, specifically the Hana Hana no Mi and eat the Devil Fruit.
- I unlock the ability to make quantum copies of my guitar at will. Those copies will always mirror the current quantum state of my original guitar, but their physical and metaphysical forms are seperate, allowing them to be used on their own, but share any upgrades to my main guitar.
- I upgrade my main guitar with high-end electronics, giving it additional functions, including superior broadcasting abilities and the ability to reach and affect the electronic world through them.
Due to all the extra arms I save enough time to build 5 "Melodic Transmitters", 3 of which I put in the AG player inventory, 1 I wear myself.

Melodic Transmitter
- Equipping takes a single non-focused action, regardless of the amount of units equipped, as long as they belong to the same player. Only the player that took it out of the inventory can equip these to only their own units.
- Wearing a Melodic Transmitter allows the player or any 1 singular entity (a hive-mind counts as a single entity though) linked to them to be more affected by healing and buffing effects that stem directly from the actions of myself or any entity/item owned/connected to me.
- As a secondary function they can vibrate in a matter that can counteract frequencies and energy patterns that are connected to telepathic, magical or electronic attempts of mind control/manipulation.
Mechanically this will provide the wearer with a shield to automatically protect against any 1 mind control attempt, but the intense vibration required will destroy the transmitter the second turn afterwards.
So this either wards you against 1 mind control attempt or gives you 2 breathing turns against a continous mind control attempt.
- They are programmed to self-destroy through vibrating if their wearer switches alignment to a different one than me (AG), this cannot inflict any kind of damage or further effects though.

The godmodder quickly grabs all the melodic transmitters, and examines them. Truly fine handiwork, yes indeed! Just wonderful!

3 melodic transmitters added to the player inventory!

So, the Monstrosity can be harmed normally, eh? Well, that's useful. Hrm, actually the man could kill the Cyber Dragon...

Bah, not worth it. He'll await for his moment of EPIC BETRAYAL for longer. He turns towards the Glitchy Monstrosity, and opens fire.

FOCUS - OVERWHELMING FIREPOWER

He does a bunch of weird, intricate hand and arm motions, and all hell breaks loose. A large meteor about the size of the creature crashes down on it immediately, screaming in from above at high speeds, smashing itself into dust. Three energy orbs appear in a triangular formation before the man, swiftly coalescing into a sphere above his head, which he points to before jabbing his finger down at the ground, causing the sphere to disappear and an oversized lightning bolt to crash into the monster. Hundreds of thin white energy needles appear around the creature, all stabbing in at once before arcing beams link to each other, creating a net that closes in to a single point in the beast and then out the same way before disappearing, dicing it. Flashing energy blades briefly appear to slash straight through the creature before vanishing again while solid brown-tinted amorphous blobs crash into the thing like boulders, physically crushing it.

Finally, the man raises his hand, pointing straight, and simply fires a massive sod-off energy beam of utter destruction, the tried and true classic technique.

15000 damage to the Monstrosity!

I fire a Barrett .50 sniper rifle at HarVester.

4000 damage to HarVester!

I ponder what to do now since HarVester's clear willingness to harm my entities disrupts my plans currently as I have to be prepared to directly defend my entities from HarVester's (and honestly very likely the Godmodder as well considering what happened with the Sealed/Unsealed Zombie) for now.

Suddenly a idea pops into my head, a way to defend all of my entities for at least a turn and so I begin.

My first action is to shield my action from adverse affect and if any power remains after that I put that energy into my summoning.

My second action is to bring forth Chuckles from the Crypt of the Ancients, a undead entity with some unique features. First Chuckles has no ability to attack, simply having a fair amount of health and an ability called 'Taunt'. Taunt is the second of Chuckles unique features, Taunt makes it so as long as Chuckles is around attacks otherwise aimed at something of my other stuff will instead hit Chuckles.

I save my third action for later use this turn.

(this post is 2/3rds of my strength, one action preventing adverse affects and maybe helping buff the summoning of Chuckles if any power remains after the protection and the second action is summoning Chuckles while taking advantage of the Crypt of the Ancients assistance in summoning undead entities)

Chuckles has appeared and is bodyguarding your entire army!

I think you missed my action the previous turn where I attacked HarVester in the manner discrived in the second quote.

For my 3rd action this turn, I attack HarVester by using a supersize fruit peeler to totally remove the womb from his avatar. (Due to the fact that the Avatar is at the center of the Fleshstorm being suppressed by CaptainNZZZ, this means that instead of taking direct damage HarVester simply takes damage in the manner that would have been caused by a non-suppressed FleshStorm because you mentioned the womb protects the Avatar)

The curvy beam pierced the flesh womb HarVester set up. The 5000 damage was from your other attack. Sorry if it wasn't clear.

The fleshstorm adds 1000 damage per turn to HarVester's antimatter debuff!

I reinvigorate (OOC: heal) the Cyber Dragon by invoking Dragon from Worm, an inspiration to artificial intelligences and dragons everywhere.

Cyber dragon fully healed!

Moniker I have a few questions. 1: how many actions would it take to make something similar to a legendary weapon? (I mean something with that level power, as opposed to that level of plot-based nigh-indestructibility) Secondly, what exactly do I get if I show that you've forgotten my name on the list.

OOC: You are NEVER going to be able to create something on the level of Starcalibur, with an ability as "meta" as doubled action counts. It's just outside of the realms of Player power entirely. Creating weapons, and permanent player upgrades in general, is ludicrously difficulty, and you're probably not going to be able to manage it outside of major sidequest rewards. Temporary player upgrades, like Cloak's Clockwork spider or CaptainNZZZ's undead summoning temple, are much more within the realm of possibility.

In answer to your second question, what you "get" is to have your name added back to the player list. Abusing QM mistakes in creative manners is a legitimate way of attacking in a game of DTG, but they aren't like free ice cream coupons.

"HQ I want 12 more Scientists and 3 more Engineers on the double!" "Acknowledged, We will have them shortly" I then turn towards my soldiers and then turn towards the Summon beacon. "All Soldiers focus your fire on that Summon beacon!" "Roger that sir! All units Take out that son of a bitch!" The squad leader yell outs. The Army men are attacking the Summon beacon!

3900 plastic used this turn

HQ is making more scientists and engineers! Your minions are going to attack the summon beacon!

*Haargh* The damage is piling up and the harvester almost loses his mind because of the burning pain.

He wanted to kill more than he could.

This reminded him of an old story from the planet everything started:
Germany went mad with power and wanted to conquer the whole world, but was too small to win and lost in the end. That was the gist of it.
The HarVester decided it was time for a tactical retreat (if he didn't want to end up divided and democratic). No need for liquid flesh in this world, no need for everything material.

He was the leader of a cult and that meant, the spirit of his cult was more important than his own body.

HarVester's true body and avatar are retreating inside of HarVester's soul, which leaves a vacuum where his body had been.

Time to regain everything that has been lost:

[JOIN THE CULT]
The brains of everything that received the virus are now giving away free soul to the cult (they now only give away lifetime) which helps the HarVester in rebuilding everything damaged.
Also the brains are trying to join the cult, which can be resisted by strong willed individuals.

As the vacuum begins to appear and suck you in, to take you safely off the field... the godmodder is suddenly right next to you. He puts a gentle hand on your shoulder. A gentle hand, a small reminder of one of the godmodder's many abilities: Shadow Tag. Can't flee the battlefield. After all, you've decided to intervene in this crazy, insane war. And you still have only a little less than half your HP left. Have you no faith? You can't intervene then simply run away.

In fact, all those brains you infected with the virus? Your virus wriggles, trying to convert them all to your side... but your calculations were off. When you made the virus, it wasn't nearly strong enough. Only those with very weak wills would be even moderately affected by it. It's a complete failure.

Right before I can put an attack shield on Chuckles I see HarVester's attempt to mind control everything and sigh, this time I can't save everything so instead for this turn I prepare to shield my entities from mental affects until I remember, when HarVester first came into existence, all my forces but the undead warriors and the Crypt of the Ancients were off the HEXAGONAFIELD when the memory-virus infection happened.
And Chuckles is new, coming into being well after the memory-virus infection happened.

So instead I use my third action to mentally cleanse any negative effects (like mental influence or mind control) and shield what was on the HEXAGONAFIELD at the time for a turn, this affecting the undead warriors, the Crypt of the Ancients (in case mind control can somehow infect intimate objects that lack a mind) and myself (just in case). If any power remains after that I add some armor to Chuckles to make him a bit more durable.

I also send 5 undead warriors and 1 Eagle to attack HarVester if they can, the undead warriors riding on the back of the Eagle.

(this post is using 1/3rd of my power)

Edit: Added why I don't need to shield and mentally cleanse Chuckles.

Some of your minions are moving out to attack HarVester!

Moniker how does my mind-virus affect the players? Do they try to join the cult? Does HarVester get lifetime out of their soul? Is the goal of HarVester (killing everything that can oppose him) impossible to reach?
Not interesting anymore because I had an idea how to make this game more interesting:

HarVester didn't feel safe, even inside his soul he was vulnerable to attacks. In his fear he thought about the option he liked least. He would create a defense no one wanted to breach since (so he thought) everyone wanted to destroy him and the defense would do the opposite of his intent. A defense, that was made for eternity.

Souls can be connected and this connection would stabilize them, if the connecting soul was similar but also different, so they could synchronize easily, but stabilize their weaknesses with the strengths of the other soul and become more than their combined parts.

HarVester was going to create an evil twin of himself.
Twisting half of his cult and half of his soul into something familiar, but opposed to himself, he created the twin. His twin was named Initiator.

Initiator fell out of thin air.

Initiator looked like HV's avatar of harvest, and he instantly had the urge to draw in the power of reality itself to destroy his kind (only to reveal later that he saved countless of others by sacrificing his kind and reviving his kind after that).
But it noticed that there was no reason to hide his real intent since his intent was just.

He wanted to weaken himself, scared of the power he was created with, while empowering, healing and protecting the beings around him until they were stronger than everything, that has been before. Without exceptions.

He also was borderline suicidal and not afraid of death, but knew about the strength provided by the link between souls and also wanted to make the world a better place for everyone so he didn't try to end his life.

Initiator is summoned as an entity! The first thing he does is rebel against you! He is [N] and will act like it!

AG:

Examon and the Army Men blast the summon beacon into oblivion! Disaster is averted!

C'thun's glitchiness is only getting worse! His worshippers and the wall protecting them nearby are sucked into his glitchy aura and killed!

The space engineers all hop on a rocket and begin construction an AG space station! Of course, it isn't "in space" as much as it is "really really far above the Hexagonafield", but it's the thought that counts. 8 new engineers appear.

Cloak's clockwork spider launches itself onto the godmodder's monstrosity and starts ripping it apart, with Cloak leaping on top of the monster's face and performing a FINISHING BEHEADING! Monstrosity killed!

PG:

The cute puppy bites the BIGGEST BONE! His teeth manage to snap it in two, somehow! Still, it keeps him entertained and docile a little while longer!

The godmodder grimaces... the battlefield has just been so stagnant lately... well, that will change soon. But until it does, he'll pave the way with a murdering spree.

The godmodder starts by surrounding the space engineer portal with a giant layer of Adamantium! +60% portal blockage! Any more and the space engineers will be locked away! He then leaps onto Examon's back, and the two go on a great journey, learning the true meaning of companionship, and developing a strong bond! The godmodder then cruelly betrays Examon by flying him into a mountain, dealing 14000 emotional and physical damage!

N:

CaptainNZZZ's entities do their stuff, and a few do a fly-by attack on HarVester for 2000 damage!

Initiator decides to help out the space engineers! He reaches out his hand and peels away some of the godmodder's adamantium with his mind! +40% portal opening!

ITINERARY:
-Defeat The Godmodder! Damaging him gives you a shot at a legendary weapon!

Mess with CaptainNZZZ, he's acquiring a big power base. Still don't know whether he's going after the AGs or PGs.
The army men get stronger over time! Guide and protect them!

That would be good, thanks.

Also, why am I N-2? Did I do something?

Cybercrime VI
"That sorted itself out then." Deo notes as he picks himself up. He then notices Eevee get blasted down.

"No!" He runs over to their prone form with a medical cart. He pulls out a medical defibrillator. "Everyone clear!" He yells out, before jamming the defibrillator on their chest and zapping them.

"Live damn it, live!" He blasts again, recharging Eevee Shadow Bacon's Cybernergy energy pool. He sighs, wiping sweat off his brow. "I've done all I can."

He then heads to Legendaryweaponnotes.pad and opens it.
EDIT: Apparently, no, he doesn't do that, because Shadow bacon is doing the same thing. Instead he checks email.exe.

You move to give Eevee shadow bacon some help, but then see them heading towards the legendary weapon notes, and... are overcome with a sudden, overpowering feeling of dread. The dread that this would be a total waste of effort. Besides, standing still long enough to give Eevee Shadow Bacon energy in this manner would involve getting hit by a lot of energy-reducing lasers - you'd essentially be trading your own cyberenergy in equal amounts for whatever you gave Eevee.

You open Email.exe! A standard inbox-type structure opens, with a few recent emails. Looks like they're all unopened. Their aren't any read/opened emails - either this is a very new inbox, or the godmodder deletes emails when he's done with them.

I open Legendaryweaponnotes.pad

You open the notepad! You see a blank white page appear, and once it loads, it will probably be full of glorious secrets about the legenda- wait, why did the screen go all black?

Suddenly, black chains appear, holding you in an X-position! You can't move at all! You struggle to break free, and maybe you could have earlier, but now... now you're just too weak! The lasers all aim at you and fire at once, ALMOST completely obliterating you. And it's only an "almost" because at the last second, you use the last of your energy to teleport outside of the godmodder's cyberspace and back onto the Hexagonafield.

You ran out of energy. You're back on the battlefield now, and Corebrute is all alone.

I will psychicly whisper to the army men the secrets of harvesting and forging adamantium, so that they might better equip themselves, and tear down the wall around the space engineers.

I will heal examons emotional and physical damage by nursing him back to health. We talk about our feelings, and he learns to trust people again.

Then Disney steals our story and makes a best selling animated picture put of it.
publicizing the story of Examon and the God modder to the entire multi-verse. This shames the God modder, letting everyone everywhere in the multi verse know just how much of a dingus he really is.
(Decrease starting loyalty for god modder summons)

I FOCUS on keeping the Portal open and instruct Examon to use Draconic impact on Harvester it will deal Massive damage to him and everything near him

Bitterness overcomes HarVester. This was it? The end of his life? All to end in pain of his own flesh (feeling double pain as the flesh is hurt by his own body)? Nor escape nor the satisfaction of destruction?

Truly deep despair!

But it makes him smile, smile for the first time he entered these fields. The smile of a broken being. If he could do neither harm nor preserve his own life, what can he do in this last minutes?

He will spend his last breath with his family.

HarVester's body twists into a chimaera, made of the family of his (they are perfect replicas), so he can see them and be them one last time.

This is a being that wants to heal anything regardless their alignment, defend their very lives at cost of his own, strengthen their defense against others.
This being tries to make peace in a world in which herbivores and carnivores exist (without violence).
It also never was forced by HarVester to do anything (HarVester also didn't want to since he created Initiator at full knowledge of what Initiator would become) so how could he rebel against anything?
But the Moniker has spoken, has he?

For my first attack I add an attack shield on Chuckles, shielding him from one attack. I wouldn't want him to get one shotted by whatever might attack him after all!

My second action is to improve my Light Crystal, adding enchantments to it which improve it's durability and healing capacity per turn. Lets get the Mysterious Tower and the Eagle Spawner to full health sooner without me spending any personal power fixing them up.

(2/3rds of my total power, saving my third action for later, just in case)

Deo worries that he doesn't have enough power left to open the note pad. He's only got 10% more power than Eevee had when they opened the file. It would be safer to just go through the emails...screw it! Those are all probably scams or traps! Time to go for broke!

"But first, those chains. No way I can avoid them. Well. Not yet." He whipped out a black large phone from the 90s that snapped open.

"Operator?" His trusted operator responded.

"Tank I need to become a master in escapology, specializing in Godmodder chains." There were the sounds of various floppy disks being moved around on the other end. "Hurry." Deo says, as he dodged the lazers.

Deo's eyes suddenly start flickering as the skills are downloaded into his mind.

"Let's go." He then opened the Legendaryweaponnotes.pad, his body braced and ready to escape from any chains in moments.

OOC: This might be my last moment in cyber space. I needed to squeeze at least 1 Matrix reference in, no matter how forced. So yes, I spend an action to become an expert in escaping/slipping out of chains, then open the pad, hoping my skill will let me survive better than Eevee.

FOCUS (not that it matters) - MISSILE MASSACRE

Hmm, perhaps something a little sneaky was in order. The man draws his lightning-edged blade once again, and teleports right behind the Godmodder before making an incredibly swift yet highly potent slas attack. Since nobody attacked the Godmodder last turn or the turn before, he's not suspecting a direct attack, since every Godmodder knows that after a certain point the Players will focus more on their and their foe's summons instead of direct attacking. The figure, however, really really wants the sword, so he's willing to make an exception and perform an assault.

Still, even though he's caught by surprise, the Godmodder is likely able to turn around and parry using Starcalibur instantly, since he is after all the Godmodder and total surprise won't usually work on him if it's with someone already in play. The problem is that this took him by surprise enough that the follow up play can go into effect, for the moment the Godmodder turns around (or puts on armor or dodges the sneak attack) he is totally and utterly surrounded by missiles from absolutely nowhere, all directly in contact with him and thus explode immediately. These are now ordinary missiles, however, but the most enchanted and highest tech with a future HEAT system allowing them to bypass any and all armor and also do massive damage to a target, and since they appeared from nowhere actually on him he can't dodge. That might do the trick.

Y'know, dying as a N-2 entity just puts you onto the AG side and blocks any actions on your part to damage the AG side.

If hungry visitor wanted to be on our side, he wouldn't have done this whole dog and pony show. Losing his freedom to be a **** to us is essentially death. Just let him have his roleplaying moment to be morose.
1. If the Godmodder kills HarVester he joins the PG side.
2. It is true that I enjoy playing like this, but why else would I play if not to have fun?
3. Loosing freedom? I believe not. I still can post AG/PG actions (depends on who gets the kill).
4. Who has killed HarVester in the end? The Godmodder with his shadow-thingy or a player that invested an action or has HarVester killed himself with his own flesh?

Right. I'll edit my post.

Also:

Action 1: Seeing the current state of hungry visitor, I arranged for they/he/it to absorb a large amount of sleeping potion. (roleplaying wise I'm hardly going to attack someone who is trying to spend their last moments with family, and also this should inhibit efforts to go out with a a bang)

Action 2: I magic up a large number of TF2 healing pots and apply them to Examon.

Action 3: I repair and recharge the glitch remover array, its starting to break down.

With my final action this turn I protect my entities from being taken from me during the next turn like if the ominous presence that soon will arrive has a entity controlling ability. Once again it's better to be safe than sorry when involved in such an event.

OOC: uh...I think he means spend time with family the same way Nina's dad wanted her to be closer to her dog. (Anyone still traumatised from Fullmetal Alchemist and know what I'm talking about, don't click the link)

OOC: It's true this is a game, and it's great you're having fun. But your actions are making it difficult for the rest of us to have fun. You are literally making it harder to do the name of the quest 'Defeat the Godmodder' because you keep trying to mind control us etc.

I mean, what's your endgame here by fighting all of us? Dick around enough that we are either somehow killed despite being immortal or leave due to irritation? If by some miracle kill the Godmodder by yourself, while the rest of us have left because you kept getting in our way, and for some reason the GM keeps running the quest despite there only being 1 player left, will you truly be satisfied?

Look, I can't stop you from doing what you want, and I am certainly not talking on behalf of everyone-heck, I'm probably only speaking my point of view, and other people are likely ok with you. Just don't be surprised if some of us aren't deriving fun due to your actions, or choose to get in your way.

OOC: I think we wait to see what the Moniker says. They might just flip a coin.

OOC:
Moniker
Was reading a book in the player inventory a free action or is just taking it out of there a free action and reading the book/chapter still requires a normal action?

I raise my arms in the air and slowly accumulate a mystical sphere of white energy, ''planet, people all who would stand against the godmodder lend me your energy!''

FOCUS action:
I use my sound powers and the broadcasting powers of my guitar to aid Orange, lending their voice the power to reach much further, breaching the reaches of space, time and, through the wifi-transmitters, reaching the digital realms as well, while boosting their endurance to pull more power safely.

edit:
OOC:
I have a soft spot for a nice genkidama.
