Defeat The Godmodder

"oh boy here we go. I think its time to help stop the suppression facility."

Free action: since FEAR seems to be the next thing, I charge up FEAR.
Action 1: I go to the trapdoor and open it up slightly, I then sneakily throw a tiny grenade full of ticks that when they attach to a person like the guards, they will get itchy and get distracted. I aim it at the one guard that is currently guarding.

...welp no one-shotting minibosses today.

Eyowe crafts himself some good ol' anti-get-rekt armor as to not get rekt in one go so easily before going in.

Now reasonably sure that he won't be knocked out by a stray gust of wind, Spicy turns his attention to some of the other many problems at hand. First on the list is the matter of their conveniently disposable troops being tied to an immobile command center. Spicy gathers up the large pile of robotic guts that he left behind, and with the practiced grace of a coward moves through the hectic field of combat stealthily, seeking to preserve his precious cargo. With some effort he finally arrives at the AG Robot Production Facility.

[x1] Humming an old half-forgotten tune the haggard man sets to work, and while he doesn't have much-(Read: Any) practical experience with machinery the man recorded multiple books on the subject, how hard could it be?

Several rather predictable spontaneous combustions and near-electrocutions later, Spicy discovers the core of the problem, for some odd reason the machine is lacking in Runes!....In hindsight that should've been obvious given that he scooped out the parts and didn't explode. And how he was forced to add Runes to the Husk Armor...really this is a general failure of Spicy's mental facilities he reflects. Mouth set in a determined line he sets back to work, engraving the proper mechanical runes onto the blasted thing is slow and tedious work what with Player Powers being shot to hell and the usual source of power for the Runes were...unavailable, to say the least.

So it was a long period of time using small doses of Power to tap into mana to etch them, then dripping blood onto the tiny etchings, then-blahblahblahblahblah-full moon-blahblahblah-how the hell did anyone get anything done?-blahblahblah-long rant about dependency on magic, at some point Spicy seems to fall into a frustration fueled trance, glaring at the machinery as he robotically follows through the motions to create the...thing, that'll solve the issue at hand.

Finally the thing is done, looking like Frankenstein's attempt at combining a laptop,Power Glove, and an accordion the thing should allow the operator to control the AG's robotic forces..with a small donation of blood of course. It has to fulfill the usual obligations of Occult Tech, even if it doesn't technically need it, it's about aesthetics you see?

Crawling up into the Control Room, the disheveled man sets the machine down next to the Player at the helm. Silently, he takes a torn off square of Scratchy Toilet Paper, slapping it onto the console that serves as the control pannel for the AG Robots, the rune on it pulsing blue before a small, strained flash of Power melds it onto the thing, a faint hum of red lighting connects between the Frankenstein'd Terminal and the Command Terminal. "there, much easier to do things that way instead of a Mana Burn, even if it was more taxing on my Powers." the man mutters, before turning to Alastair.

He tips his pristine hat to the Player. "This little thing should let you control the Troops, just...don't mind the needle when you put on the Glove. Keep up the good work!" Spicy calls back to him before crawling back out of the Control Room, taking a seat next to the Generator.

[Free] FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAITH, Spicy mentally chants, an ancient hymn of prayer in a language long lost to time, every word of which just happening to sound like the word "Faith"in the English language. FAAAAAAAAAA-you get the picture.

Having had conveniently gone back to the AG Production facility for a lack of a better thing to do, Alastair smiles briefly at the gift before putting on the Glove.

"Ow!" He yipes before seeing the thing activate with a drop of his blood and some VERY cultish Runes. "...hmm... those look like cult symbols..."

He looks at Spicy for a moment, evaluating him for a bit. Then he shrugs and relaxes a bit when he realizes the cultish power was more out of habit and aesthetics. He probably shouldn't say anything on it yet until he had more details on the cult in question, anyway. And aggressively shoving his own faith onto others was a FAST track to aggressively shoving people AWAY from his religion too. Besides, with the whole 'selling oneself to evil' and 'Mind and Soul getting nommed' risk going on, it might be more prudent to wait until after all other threats to life and soul were put to rest.

"Thanks for the controller!" I yell, getting back to what I was doing.

I then have to pause, wondering whether or not I had just spent my Action or if I was on a ludicrously long Free Action chain. I sincerely HOPED that I hadn't already exhausted my resources and was sabotaging my efforts with further actions. But I FEARED this might not be the case.

I set it all aside though (into the Dungeonscape) and had FAITH it would work out somehow.

Action:

I decide to pour more of my energy into The translucent barrier in a effort to make the Command terminal and the Repaired Generator effectively waterproof.

'I wish for the The Translucent barrier that is surrounding the Command terminal and the Repaired Generator to be furthered strengthened as to better protect them from water damage.' Suddenly after a few moments the Red Translucent barrier around the Command terminal and the Repaired Generator appear to become stronger and there is now a noticeable hum that is being emitted from the translucent barrier itself.

Free Action Focus - FAITH AND HOPE: I have faith and hope that we will make it through!

Action Focus - Repair: I suppose I'll repair some bots. I repair as much as I can, prioritizing the low health bots.

I create a faith aggregator, my theory goes that the dreamscape is defined by the minds connected to it for good or ill, but it needn't be player minds in order to work in our favor, to that end I create a simple yet large mindscape connected mind that feels nothing but utter faith in and adoration for a particular programmable concept. Each turn it'll do the equivilent of a free action, for now I'll set it on hope, even if the wall can't use anymore currently some auto regen could be usefull if it's ever attacked. To disguise it I make it in the form of a brick and replace one of the ones in the sewer with it(or whatever the sewer's made out of). I also inscribe on the side in small, discreet letters "eventually, convenience will eat all worldviews" as I've basically just made an appliance that prays for me so I don't have to wast time on it.

(Moniker, you forgot to remove this (Food room: Has weakening food - next 1 enemies will have their starting health reduced by 30%!).)

1 action: I add spiderwebs, sleeping gas sprayers, and sudoku books to the maze, giving the maze a chance to delay an enemy from coming onto the battlefield until the next turn. The effect cannot trigger more than once on an enemy.

Why make this when it only delays enemies, which is something we don't really need?

It's a surprise tool that will help us later.

1x In the Dungeonscape I have a Cake appear on a pedestal for the enemies, "only those who join the AG may have this cake". Surely they will betray their faction for some good old cake.

The man simply sits there, before realizing he can make some improvements. He pulls out his bench, and then pulls the chains around, placing them so as to make a handle, if only they weren't broken. He then proceeds to demonstrate that 1/4th ender dragon is plenty to melt said chains enough to combine them, giving him a usable Shield Bench. He now has a spear, and a shield. This should help if he must fight.

Oh it seems I'm missing out on the latest fighting, the Suppression Robot Production Facility certainly looks like a battle that could use some more Players. Onwards!

Just before I rush into battle though I coat one of the loaded spears in hand sanitizer.

Cranking my propeller I rapidly close the distance between myself and the facility thanks to the shallow water before pulling myself to my feet And diving dramatically into the Suppression Robot Production Facility.

"Well now, it looks like you all are looking rather functional. Time to remedy that unfortunate fact my dear bots!"

I take aim right at the nearest Suppression bot and smirk, time to finally witness the fruits of my labor. Water drips from the frame of Spearnir as it lets surprisingly quietly lets loose a spear that nigh instantly flies through the air and then plunges itself into the central mass of the Suppression bot, ripping right through everything it touches.

To add insult to injury the friction produced ignites the hand sanitizer I coated the spear in, spreading flames throughout the pierced interior to burn away the critical electronic systems of the bot. (x1)

Breaking Bad - XVI
ES has!

Uh

No idea what to do right now! In lieu of something more immediately helpful, he takes another helping of Guardbot parts and upgrades his sword again, to the full potential of the Artefact Blade! As said before, it now proteccs as well as attaccs! While last time he didn't use enough materials to achieve both, this extra dose of parts solves that issue.

You unlock the Artefact blade's full potential! Now, it can help defend as well as help attack!

Action: I grab Valla. Since I'm stronger than her and have player powers, she shouldn't be able to escape and rush into the suppressive force facility.

Stronger than her? An unfortunately incorrect assertion. As you close around her, Valla twists out, then immediately decks you. And then kicks you while you're down. And THEN turns and keeps moving.

I run away.... and grab a Scratchspear +1.
1) I proceed to run at one of the suppression bots and stab them.

You take a Scratchspear+1 and stab a suppression bot! It loses 10% integrity!

Yikes, these things are tough. Good thing you have your own army here.

The Maze gets a new upgrade! The tunnels that previously swapped directions, sides, and cardinal sometimes now suddenly gets segments! There are 18 segments of the maze, and after casting: Illusion World "Never Ending Swapping" They suddenly swap with each other every 300 seconds randomly. The best part, is with a convenient error in the spell, the segments don't actually match up properly sometimes, since their directions get swapped randomly too, making it extremely difficult to find a passageway where both segments you can walk through and actually enter a segment of the maze. The best part is everything just gets more confusing with the cardinal directions swap suddenly.

Somehow, every enemy's chance of making it through is only reduced by 5%. Still, that's one-fourth of the enemies you're blocking!

Yelp, it time to kill. I use the bread to rip and tear as much stuff as I can while fighting the guards.

Somehow, you reduce a guard to average condition. With bread. Nobody's sure how you managed it. But you did.

I send "For the next part of my plan I need something sonic (ideally the sonic shooter but if eyeowe does not want to part with it a model of the sonic the hedgehog would do nicely) and a polymerisation card could you guys get that stuff for me" over the telepathic link

by the way shouldn't you ad fire to the list of elements my weapon uses

anyway I rush up to tranquilizer sniper and simply shoot it using my flaming short strike inator of doom

I suppose that's true, your attacks now contain a bit of the fire element, for what its worth.

You rush into the massive crowd of enemies guarding it, and shoot the big boss! You deal 8 damage. Then, everyone dogpiles and defeats you! The Dungeonscape is getting a new enemy... a more tactical approach might be best...

[1] I run to the main hall, and hide behind a brick wall. Once there, I note that the metal-eating acid is stored by holding it in a bugsby's cupped hand spell, which can be controlled. Bugsby's hand has a range limit of 100ft +10ft per spell level (probably 3 or something), and no movement limit for bull rush attacks (charging at an opponent without an aim to do damage to them directly). If the tranq sniper seems to be within 130ft of me, and a quick glance out shows its sniping instrument to be made of metal, then the bugsby's cupped hand preforms a Bull Rush attack aimed directly at the sniper's sniping instrument. Controlling the hand doesn't cost actions according to pathfinder, so I also cast perfect strike on bugsby's cupped hand, garunteeing the hit if its possible for it to hit. This will hopefully deprive the sniper of their ability to do attacks.

Your Bubsy's hand has a very limited range of about 5 feet, forcing it to be used for surgical strikes. You'd have to rush forward and get knocked out to execute this move. Do it anyways?

I grab a knife from the cutlery container and infuse it with the zapping power of the bars, creating a Zappy Knife.

You create a Zappy Knife! Its not a particularly strong weapon, but good enough!

The quiet watcher loots the parts from the nearby destroyed robots and makes more dynamite, an idea forming in his head.

You create another stick of dynamite. Hmmm...

Hey pionoplayer , Would you like some help powering that Blender of yours?

I walk over to the KO'd guardbots lying inside the Escape Tunnel, and rifle through their corpses for useful material: Batteries, capacitors, gears, servo motors, flywheels, and such electric and mechanical components. I attach the motors and servos I can salvage to a system of gears, with an overall ratio appropriately chosen such that the mechanism can be attached to the crank on Piono's Ranch Dressing Eliminator. I set up a simple electronic control system for the mechanism, and I also combine the batteries I salvaged into a handy power pack. This power pack I connect to the control board using a set of looong wires so that the batteries can be kept in Piono's pocket or something and still provide power while he has the Blender out.

This might not be enough to allow the weapon to fire every turn, but at minimum it should allow the Ranch Dressing Eliminator to charge on it's own without Piono needing to manually spend actions.

The Ranch Dressing Blender now auto-recharges by .5 points per turn! Automation is a wonderful thing.

Now INCREDIBLY nervous about the water, I shout down the hallways. "HEY! SAVE SOME PARTS FOR ME! I REALLY, REALLY WANT TO BE ABLE TO LEAVE, BUT I STILL NEED A REMOTE CONTROL FOR THESE BOTS to do so!"

This FEAR, though, makes me fight harder, and I channel it into the Dungeonscape.

As I do so, I swear and focus the Robots on maneuvering to dodge the Shadow Stampede until they're just out of the horde's path. Actually, given the Shadow Stampede heading towards the PG Suppression Base and the current location of my bots... I stop my robots advance, having them hold the line and fight the current Suppression bot wave. Save for the new Robot and the straggler. They still have to go and catch up with the others.

Once the PG Suppression base is taken over or rendered inoperable, they'll conveniently be in position to directly assault the 2nd floor blockade!

EDIT: I then blink, realizing that, somehow, I still haven't used my Action yet. I frown. Certainly, I can't command the robos unless I'm in the room. But... they seem to be holding to their commands well enough... Maybe....

I leave the room. Right. First things first, I'll just get some bread, drink some of the flooding water, and use the restroom - that stuff. I grab a scratchspear while I'm at it and... Wait, have I even used an action yet?

You get the robots out of the way! They won't take damage from the Shadows this turn. The PG robots aren't as lucky to have such a good pilot...

You do some self-care! You are now HEALTHY. And you have a Scratchspear! You, uh... debatably have used an action. Maybe. Good enough.

[A] Interrogate/block Valla.

Leah refuses to leave Valla's side, moving to her and around her as she goes (and stepping on Crusher when he's punched into the water.) "The operator wishes to-"

That's when Crusher attempts his grab. Presuming it even works, Leah groans in disappointment. "The Operator wishes to express that you two are being idiots. Crusher for being a threatening control freak, Valla for refusing to share vital information that you clearly have as well as the nature of your 'beef' with us, because you clearly have 'a beef' with us in general. Crusher aside, it is mostly irrational... The operator wishes to express that any desire you may have to harm Crusher or otherwise abandon him here is shared with her."

Leah cocks her flamethrower at both of them-the water's not high enough for this to not be a threat, doubly since she's the one in power armor, in a bayonet. She prevents Valla (and Crusher) from moving to the Suppressive Forces base. "Either way, the Operative does not approve of Valla rushing into the fortress of our enemies."

"We are not 'forcing' you to do anything-the Operator would like to clarify this now. You are forcing us to interrogate you for the information, so if you would like to be removed from this predicament swiftly, you shall explain quickly. We would enjoy being more trustworthy of you, but you appear to be under the very deep delusion that you will be able to do much of anything without our help-or survive without it, for that matter. The option is yours, Valla."

Leah looks relativley solemn for being the person holding a flamethrower at Valla.

If anyone asks, Leah (and crusher/valla) are (hopefully) not in the direct path of the shadows to the suppression forces base.

Valla: ...Hmm. We aren't forcing each other to do anything. But, if only to get you off my back...

Valla: A long time ago, I made a resolution. A resolution to seek the goal of absolute freedom. To not allow myself to be tied down by anything!

Valla: So I became a Player, to have absolute power - because absolute power is absolute freedom. Why else would you become a Player?

Valla: But, naturally, I found myself tied to the godmodder. My powers would disappear if I left him. So I spent pretty much all of my time trying to find a way to preserve my Player powers - to be able to keep them, forever, even if there were no godmodders around!

Valla: And just as I was about to succeed - I ended up here!

Valla: I'm definitely going to escape. But I can't be tied down by teamwork or allies. You can consider me... a True Neutral. I seek the goal of escape, and I'll do it, regardless of what you do.

Regardless of whether you find the answer satisfactory enough to allow her escape, she does anyway - suddenly moving at an inhumanly fast speed, easily going around you.

Welp, nothing to do I gues but crank up my blender.

You crank your blender back to full! It should be noted that Winkins has upgraded it for you - now it recharges by .5 per turn!

Map -

Dont worry, Moniker! I'll keep updating this one.

Action -
Not really having any ideas on what to do, Kyle assists Winikins in the Suppression Bot Facility Room.

"Winikins! Mind stunning the guard... um, on guard? If we can get past him, we might be able to shut this down!

Kyle jams his sword into one of the Generators, hopefully supercharging it with electricity! (Here's hoping the Zap Chestplate is enough to protect against that along with the sword's electricity element...)

You stab your sword into the generator! It gets overcharged, and catches on fire! Since its an electrical fire, the water just makes it worse...

The generator is gone for sure, but now your sword is hopelessly stuck! You'll need to spend more effort if you want to remove it...

I make it so that the Minor beasts can create more Minor beasts, or at least something like Minor Minor beasts!

FEAR!

The minor beasts attempt to split but cannot. They are already so weak they simply can't get weaker.

FEAR is upgraded by the Random Upgraded, rather than Player Fear actions.

FEAR

I grab a Scratchspear+1 from storage and combine it with my Flame Purger, all stealthily of course

You create the Flatch Pear! Its whatever you get when you combine those two items.

The guard is suddenly distracted with horrible, horrible ticks! NOT THE TICKS! The guard is now more vulnerable to attack, and has a harder time attacking the Players!

...welp no one-shotting minibosses today.

Eyowe crafts himself some good ol' anti-get-rekt armor as to not get rekt in one go so easily before going in.

You make some basic anti-get-rekt armor! It provides just enough protection to help prevent you from getting rekt.

By the way Why is the shadow in the sewers not drawn to the agitator?

The Shadow in the sewers suddenly realizes that it forgot to be drawn to the agitator! NOW it'll be drawn to the agitator.

Now reasonably sure that he won't be knocked out by a stray gust of wind, Spicy turns his attention to some of the other many problems at hand.

FAITH!

You create the REMOTE CONTROL GLOVE! An easy tool any Player can use to control the Suppression bots from any distance! Its been added to the Player inventory, for anyone to use. If there is significant disagreement on what the bots should do, popular vote wins!

Keep in mind, you don't have to control the bots as an entire army. You can divide them up into groups if you want to do more than one thing at a time.

Free Action Focus - FAITH AND HOPE: I have faith and hope that we will make it through!

Action Focus - Repair: I suppose I'll repair some bots. I repair as much as I can, prioritizing the low health bots.

FAITH! You have enough FAITH! The healer is upgraded!

You patch up some of the dents on the robots. Three are repaired back to 100% intact!

The Faith Aggregator is now adding a free HOPE action every turn. ...For now. You feel like there's something not quite right about it.

Ah, thank you for the reminder!

The maze now has delayer defenses, which can potentially delay an enemy by a turn! The potential is 40% - this is rolled separately from the chance to kill an enemy.

1x In the Dungeonscape I have a Cake appear on a pedestal for the enemies, "only those who join the AG may have this cake". Surely they will betray their faction for some good old cake.

You place a pedestal in the outer defenses with an appealing cake. Any effect it will have remains to be seen.

You create the Benchmark! Its a good bench shield, plenty capable of defending you in a pinch!

FWOOM! -25% bot integrity! Spearnir's bloodlust is momentarily sated.

-----------

In the area immediately outside the holding cell, the rising water begins to reach overtake the PG bots... the Shadows crash through, and as Alastair Dragovich maneuvers your own AG bots out of the way, the PG bots are not nearly so lucky! All of them are either crushed by the Shadows, or finished off by the anti-bot fire from your own bots! Its all Xerath can do to dive out of the way...

The Shadows enter the PG Suppression Facility, immediately throwing it into chaos. All the Suppression bots within the facility are thrown into disarray are prevented from attacking - one of them, along with the tick-distracted guard, is destroyed by the rampaging Shadows, and their parts trampled into uselessness. Furthermore, Winkins with their tower shield, along with Kyleruler, and Eevee Shadow Bacon, are utterly consumed by the rapidly moving Wall of angry Shadows. Kyleruler manages to eat his PB&J and get out safely, but Winkins and Eevee Shadow Bacon are eventually spat out, knocked out cold by the insanity of the Shadows. 2 new enemies for the Dungeonscape. The Shadows slam into the command center door, damaging it significantly, then re-center on the flex-tape filled hole, all trying to dig through it at once. They're so desperate, they're working really inefficiently! But that flex tape won't be there by the end of next turn! You have to reinforce the flex tape, or move - and now!

At about this point, you realize that now's the time to get moving. You have allied robots, you have weapons, you have armor, and you have a significant distraction preventing Cybil's reinforcements from arriving. It's time to take the Main Hall and get moving to 2F!

From what you've seen so far, in order to survive this fight, you'll need to stay behind the cover of the brick walls, and attack at range. That will protect you from the enemy attacks, for a time at least. Furthermore, if 75%+ of the Players enter the Main Hall to attack at the same time, you'll automatically use the SURPRISE STUNNING SLAM team maneuver combo - that will prevent all of the enemies from attacking for one turn! So if you move as one, you'll get a free shot at the enemies!

Valla moves through the cell block quickly, and takes cover outside the entrance to the PG bot facility, presumably waiting for the crowd of Shadows to die down a little.

The water rises 7%. At some of the low points in the cells, the water has reached a point where it would be too deep for enemy robots to move in. The entire non-main hall area is at least a little bit underwater by now.

THE DUNGEONSCAPE:

Everyone attacks, taking out the Voidic Cleric! Hurrah!

The Random Stat Upgrader upgrades FEAR! Allies now take 10% less damage! The Blood-Starved beast summons its 10th minor beast, then finds it can't make any more! 10 is the cap! It already has plenty! Same goes for the bell-ringing woman, who can't have more than 5 of each type of soldier she can summon.

But no less than three new enemies appear in the DUNGEONSCAPE to trouble you! Two make it through the maze without problems, but one falls down a bottomless MIND pit and dies! The two new enemies are... another Voidic Cleric, and another Massive Gobblebeast! Dang.

ES decides that, since the GM thinks it's time to Leeroy Jenkins, that must mean it's time to Leeroy Jenkins. He rushes inside the Main Hall and launches an assault with the Blade on one of the Guardbots that had the misfortune of being in his way at that precise moment in time.

Action: I move into the main hall, take cover behind a wall, and fire my Shock Railgun straight into a wall. Or more precisely, into a microportal I placed in the wall, with the other end to the side of the line of zapbots in the hall. I can transfer objects up to 2 cell-lengths worth of distance, and a railgun slug is one such object. With this new angle, the railgun shot is able to penetrate through all three zapbots, dealing massive damage.

Free Action: FEAR

I move into the Main Hall mostly behind a brick wall, which is to say entirely behind the Brickwall except for my Zapguard. Then I toss miscellaneous junk at the Zapbots to draw their attacks towards me and my Zapguard and my powerful melee weapon

Go! I´ll reinforce!
1. I patch up the flextape with chewing gum, and FAITH! I then run back through the tunnel and take cover near the Main Hall

Valla! Given that escaping here and getting your true freedom is likely going to be an arduous task, why don't you work with us to ensure we all get out? You help us, we help you, everyone wins, no?

Free Action Focus - FAITH AND HOPE: I have faith and hope that we will make it through!

Action Focus - LEEEEEEEEROOOOOY: I pickup my stuff and swim through to the cluster of enemies, avoiding the shadows. Then, I LEEEEROOOOOY my way through the cluster of enemies with my sword and gunslinger pawnches.

Kyle yanks his sword out of the generator and smothers it with a convenient bunch of thatch from the cells, using his action for the turn! Glad that he's not electrocuted and didn't get KO'd as that might have been bad if he had to take an extra turn to get out, he quickly stands back and appreciates the chaos of the Shadow Players as they all dig desperately.

[Summary - sword regained and now not on fire. Still really charged though.]

"Ender, you might wanna get moving! Those shadows are gonna break through soon..."

After getting his sword out, he begins to run to the main hall, taking cover behind one of the brick walls and wondering if the sword got another damage boost from literally draining/breaking an entire Generator.

Kyle FEARS at the trials undoubtedly ahead... but he has FAITH that we can all get through this!
Let's do
this!
