Defeat The Godmodder

Terry presses F, and salutes to Xerath.
----
FOCUS X 3
Terry walks around, at extreme speed, searching for the Godmodder's headquarters.

The shield generator and hexagonashield generator discover they are now on a partially built boat. the EISL is dead so who cares.
Somno, if the evolver doesn't finish the Bote, finish it for him, otherwise keep working on overheal. Evolver, Bote.
[3 actions charging, once with charge boosted- a 4-C action.]
I go sit on my elaborate bed, somehow not flooded. I need to get to sleep fast enough to be asleep before the EOTB, which means, naturally, that I will need a magical incantation.
That's fine though! I have a magical spell made specially for this occasion! well, not this occasion exactly... For times when I either need to be asleep faster or to sleep very deeply. didn't want to do any dreamnanigans so soon though...
Its also a very long incantation, which is why its a good thing that I actually had a speaker attached to my vocal folds a while ago- lets me talk faster.
"Grmblgrmbl. Didn'tWantToHaveToDoThis...."
"In the words of a great man,
'This song isn't funny at all, but it helps me sleep at night'"
(can't spoiler it or it'll be invisible)

"The Game is Dead..."
"The Game is Dead..."
"Game is De-e-ead."
"Game is Dead..."
"Players like to seem com-plicated..."
"But we're not complicated, I can explain it pretty easssilly..."
"Have you ever, been to a birthday, party for children, some of the children, won't stop screaming, cuz they're just little-attention-attracters, when they grow up, to be players or 'Modders..."
"They'll be rewarded, for never maturing, for never- understanding- or learning- that every-daaay can't- be about them, there's other people, you selfish [Gorilla]holes..."
"We must be psychotic, we must be demented, to think that we're worthy of all this attention, of all of this power, ye worked really hard for, we slept and laid while you worked at the drug-store..."
"Our Drug's attention-- We are addicts- but we get paid to indulge in our habits, it's all an illusion, I'm wearing makeup, I'm wearing makeup makeup makeup."
"The Game is dead."
"So the world thinks your funny, how do we get the that world of money?"
"I Said the Game is Dead..."
"We're rolling in dough while Is2creeper rolls in his grave..."
"his grave"
"His grave"
"Entitys have budgets, Entitys have budgets,"
"and all the weaklings way more deserving of the char-ges won't budge-it..."
"Cause I wanted my own ship, when I could have fed a family of 4^^4 for forty [gorrila]ing fortnights"
"forty [gorrila]ing fortnights!"
"I am A player, please world forgive me, I am player, please don't revere me, I am a player, please don't respect me-"
"I am A Player, Feel free to correct me,"
"Self-centered players, self-obsessed players, I am a Player, I am a Player, But I'm just a kid, I'm Just A Kid, I'm Just A Kid, Kid..."
"And maybe I'll grow out of it."

DISCLAIMER: THIS SONG DOES NOT REPRESENT MY OPINION. I Took "Art is dead" by bo burnham and adapted it to DTG.

As I enter the dream world, which Xerath has also been sent to by way of a combination of dream powers, god-of-dreams' help, and not being particularly healthy and being near the edge of consciousness right now, I speak.
"This Is a dream, Friend Xerath."
so, I have that pack with the God of dreams, remember?
I Waaaas trying to save it up for something, but... eh, another player on our side is worth the extra wait, especially with an instant 10 boost stones once he wins.
the world, having been established a dream, quickly distorts to Xerath's expectations, as well as my own powers. he seems to receive more power then he should, before I bend his expectations. the boon blades shattered husk glitters reddly... and with a flare of purple starlight a single unblemished core rises from its wreckage, expanding as the compression spell fails. the red core gathers falling blood, stains from bob and icky and spilled drops from Xerath's chest. it twirls and, in a display that would be utterly useless in the real world, forms a meaningless tangle, before flying forwards, filling the hole in Xerath's chest. Blood is left over, and a pair of fangs are formed of pure magic, embedding into his shoulder for a moment, not quite enough for permanency. vampiric powers flow through him for a moment, and a stream of blood flows into his mouth, more being conjured by the core. this quickly rejuvenates and heals his body.
You see, when someone runs out of energy, but has a perfectly intact body, brain and everything else, they might die eventually, but there is time. Since I have healed most of the physical wounds in his body (this dream will still carry over to reality, somehow), and he will receive 30 actions of energy the moment this battle ends, he should be fine, but just in case...
Xerath, getting up in this dream that lasts a blink but seems neverending, sees the Godmodder is frozen, and so is everyone else... except for me.
STARCALIBUR STEAL ROLL: YES! But then you wake up. It was just a dream.
So... this bed I made, one of its functions is to preserve and connect dreams. thats how I had my conversation with the God of dreams without going through the "why am I here...?" thing every time.
If I was asleep, it would be in this bed. Therefore, In this dream realm, I have Starcalibur, ready in hand. perhaps not the real Starcalibur, but a sufficiently functional copy, even if limited in efficiency.
tearing a rift into the real world, I see an shape of false starcalibur stabilizing in my sleeping hand.
good. back to Xerath.
in this dream, I am not physically in the barrier, and will not be there when I awaken either- another function of the bed, it keeps my sleeping body from leaving for no reason, so I can approach him.

"Xerath, Don't give up on your life. we can heal you faster then you take damage if you'd just, you know, use the healing items, and the Godmodder copy can't heal. there isn't a need to risk your life."
After a long conversation detailing my own opinions, reworded to fit his expectations and convince him, we get back to physical work.
"The Godmodder knows you're there, and this dream's real duration is a fraction of a second, but it will persist, so go over there, to...136 degrees from where you are now, rotating clockwise around him. this was chosen by random chance, so he can't predict it no matter how well he knows us."
Next, he'll need a weapon, does the secret weapon work? If not, wait a second, I know I've got it somewhere...
"Ah, here it is, the hilariously over-complicated gauntlet-claw with at least 8 combat functions, a fold up keyboard, hologram screen, radio, toilet, band-aid dispenser, a measuring tape, the ability to create pillows out of the air, and the ability to change shape. among the combat functions are a crossbow, wolverine claws, plasma blasts, and... eh, I forget the rest dontworryaboutit"
"This gauntlet is, of Course, a decoy- or is it- or isn't it- who knows, I chose with random.org-"
"The other thing that might be the real threat or the decoy, (just use both of them), as a series of items from a lovely game... idea... of srovys. SNOW FIGHT."
"this spraybottle is chilly, and does DOT. bare hands can build structures quickly or lob high-accuracy projectiles. shoves send waves of snow spraying at people, and can build piles. you can also punch people but then your parents will show up in a few minutes somehow."
"Now, put on this jacket- it won't impair your movement, but will solidify the mechanics of SNOW FIGHT into reality. if you get hit by snow, your heat will decline faster based on your jacket. as we know, the Godmodder isn't wearing a jacket- it'd be broken by now- but I just gave you this one so yours isn't. Snow fight has the option to take off your jacket, purging debuffs but causing you to take more damage. that means the Godmodder is still playing snow fight. where's the snow? a chilling film, conjured near the defensive field, will freeze the snow into existence. if you run out of snow, the gauntlet probably has a function to shoot snow."
"SNOW FIGHT also has power ups, raising your defences or attack. in SNOW FIGHT, you are also unkillable unless you get hit by something that lowers your heat, so snowballs, but,- here have a scarf mittens boots and extra snow pants- I just gave you all the defence powerups, so you can't take heat damage until your clothing all gets broken, which requires hitting it with the "icicle" item, which is common in snow fight but hasn't formed here."
"Since we've emphasised snow fight so much, the Godmodder will start to take damage if he even stays in the snow for too long! or runs at a speed slower then roughly 4 MPS."
"hopefully thats enough. I'm going back out of the field now to avoid breaching it, good luck!
and put a higher value on your own life. death isn't worth it just to deal damage to the Godmodder a few minutes sooner"

The dream then ends, and Xerath is positioned as described above, while I lie in bed, and quickly get up to watch.

[x0 talking with mouth and words]
"Action bank, do you deal in Godmodder actions, or only player actions?"
CULT ACTION VOTE:
Whatever other people vote for, if nobody else suggests anything, then grabbing a multiplier orb for the cult- if possible, to apply to the cult-action-majyks, otherwise hold for now.

2 Actions - Pointing out the Obvious

The Shipyard is mostly underground. The entrance point the Apex was using is covered by an energy shield. Hence, no water can get in, and even if some did the gigantic Shipyard wouldn't be affected that much. For one thing it has some drainage systems. ES is almost certain this was made explicit when he first summoned the thing. Well, the energy shield, not so much the other stuff. This knowledge causes a reality correction that immunizes the Shipyard to the rain.

1 Action - Kaboom

With a flick of the wrist, ES sends another bolt of energy along the previously used path to hit the Super Boost Stone, right in the previous crack. Aiming to either increase the rate of loss or get to damaging the juicy internals of the thing instead of just cracking open its shell, either works. He then hands off the Yorehammer to JOEbobobob for use next turn.
The Bank of Actions informs you that they make money "like how normal banks make money".
"So yes, loans are involved. Assuming you're a commercial bank instead of an investment bank. Both qualify as normal. Or you could be both at the same time, there's little difference these days."

Also, gah! That many turns with a Shipyard IV? Damn it! There's no way they'll be ready for the upcoming boss. He'll have to make do with what he has, those two designs alone at best.

Loans:
The_Two_Eternities 2 actions in 9 rounds

Current possessions: 3/3 + 2/2 + 8 AD + 3 round actions

Hm... well then. Then transform this stuff into charges. (after a short visit at the bank, I now got an additional 8/8 charge)

3/3 + 2/2 + 8/8 + 3 round actions...

Hm...

3/3 + 2/2 + 1/1 +2/2 + 8/8

Yeah. Looks good.

Edit: Why do I always forget the cult action? I agree to it, but am questioning my ability to remember it. Oh brothers (and sisters), the way of cultism is hard. To remember.

The Vault IV
Suddenly, as voted for by the Cult Action, Fred receives a Power Gauntlet, imbued with the tiniest bit of power! It only just barely made the jump through. Fred, sensing its a gift, equips it...

"Well, thank you for waiting. :)
My first thought is to turn off the player lock, but...
We players can't affect the real world, aside from the already-present field around you.
and... wait a second........
I was right.
Back when Somno viewed the Godmodders memory of Alice...:"

???: Are you finally ready, Alice? I know you have everything you need.
"just now:"
???: a player lock
"Its a Georgia text, with a ???. ((My speech text, for contrast, is almost-always Size four, Times New Roman, Cyan (00ffff), Bold text))
There is one difference- The old one has a colour of light grey specified- but its enough to deserve heavy suspicion with the voice. that, combined with the unlikelihood of player-lock being off helping us (all our players are dead), Gives me the conclusion that turning off player lock is a bad idea.
Now, the gauntlet on your hand is from me. I managed to scrape together the power to give it to you, it should give you the magical power to do any of the following, but only one at a time: glow about as bright as a torch, apply a force equivalent to a punch to an area within 3 meters and within sight, or slooooowly nit wounds.
As for what to do. before you continue, use the "glow like torch" ability to check if there's anything, just in case."

"a physical lock(online/offline, timer): Allows you to change the status of the physical lock. Timer optional.
a player lock: Manually extends the Player lock for setting online/offline
see physical: Lists known items in physical storage
see living: Lists occupants in living storage
see intangible: Switches to file-system viewing mode
unlock: unlocks main door
security: Switches to security interface mode
store: Opens up new entry form, for storing physical/living things"
"the player and physical locks say 'A' at the start, and the ??? georgia voice did too. they definitely want you to do that... so avoid both of them. instead, use See living, then See physical, then if nothing interesting has happened, See intangible... make sure not to do unlock, or to preface any of your text with "a"."

Fred first uses the gauntlet to glow like a torch, revealing what was thought previously - the cave around him is empty. He can't see through the False Wall, but its probably getting dark outside fast.

Fred: Thank you! I feel better now.

Fred begins entering commands on the terminal.

Fred: Okay... I don't know what to make of this. I've never seen much like this before.

It occurs to you that Fred may or may not have lived in the time of computers. Good thing you're here to help him.

A powerful voice huh? Seems like JOE have recalled hearing that voice so I'll leave that to him. As for the commands, I think we should get around to checking "a player lock" even though it came from someone that might be hindering us... but after checking "see physical". I really don't think we'll find anything in "see living". Player lock might allow us to interfere a bit into the Real World... But that means other players apart from us can mess up other stuff as well, there's still Alice, who might be someone tricked into going against the Players here on the Hexagonal field.

... On second thought, it might be better to ignore "a player lock" and check out "security" and "see physical". Maybe there might be something you can use from what I assume to be a vault.

Fred: I'm getting mixed messages about the player lock... I mean, just judging by the text, I'm not sure the terminal alone can disable the Player lock.

Fred: Maybe... security first.

>security

The terminal color changes to yellow! New statistics and options are displayed on the screen...

MAIN DOOR INTEGRITY: 100%
SECURITY SYSTEMS INTEGRITY: 100%
OVERALL STRUCTURE INTEGRITY: 100%
THREATS DETECTED IN AREA: !1!
DEFENSE AMMUNITION STATUS: 100%

ENTER COMMAND

Fred tries "help" again.

diagnostics - Starts a manual diagnostic scan of the entire security system. This occurs automatically every hour.
scan - manually scans local 3-mile radius for advanced readout on any detected threats
repair (door/security/structure) - directs automatic repair efforts towards repairing specified part of the vault.
set (turrets/drones/traps) (online/offline) - activates/deactivates various defenses.
armor - brings up armor suit bay.

Fred: Just trying to parse this... this place looks like its in good shape, but apparently there's 1 threat? Any clues for what to do about that?

Underground Chamber:

Active terminal
Keypad(unlocked)
Sealed Door

Fred(has broken tree branch)(Gauntlet powers: Light, force, slow regen)

Hello Fred i have not met you but take this advice turn on the defenses and then scan and then do Diagnostics and then after that get in a armor suit because that threat is Alice and she is a player you are going to need all the advantages possible to face her

For now, refer to the handy-dandy list of water-resistant and non-water-resistant entities to know who needs to be protected before the end of next turn!
Were exactly IS this list?

Above the HEXAGONAFIELD, an airplane suddenly appears flying through the rain.

Blast it! This rain is worse than I expected. Neither our forces or me personally can fight in these conditions at all. We'll need to wait until all this water clears before we can seriously focus on fighting the bastard a second time.

"General!" There's stragglers in the water, looks like friendlies."

In this war keeping experienced forces alive is important. We don't have real passenger space on this bird, but we can drop them some useful material!

action 1: A whole bunch of already-inflated liferafts, some loaded with simple scuba gear, drop from the back of the plane and land near Joebob's ragtag band of near-drowning entities.

Now that that's sorted, it's time try dealing with this storm. Nigel, is the lightning hardening on the plane's systems holding up?

"Solidly!"

Great. Get both our turrets and ALL our sensors up to maximum readiness. Our intel suggests there is something massive and powerful in those clouds that is possibly responsible for this rainfall. Our mission is to identify it, and determine possible routes to eliminating it.

Actions 2+3: The plane flies high into the clouds, roughly towards the area where Paradoxdragon found the 'thing'. Radar, magic detectors, and other scanners are all put on task of determining the nature of what he found.

Do you remember me, godmodder? You will soon I think...

Moniker does giving Fred suggestions cost actions?

"The other players are more-or-less seems right. Do Not open the player lock until further notice, it's not safe unless we're sure, even with the safe return glyph.
Download the "Attack ideas" and "3D Plans" Into the gauntlet, because I never actually said what the gauntlet was made of beyond its magical properties, so clearly it has a wifi-transmitter to send the info back to my base. obviously. to connect the gauntlet, just press it to the terminal and say Attack ideas, then Three Dee Plans.

I agree with moos read me suggestion as well. You haven't been present long, so it's unlikely for the threat to be referring to you- it's probably talking about that mysterious voice.
Oh, and make sure to set the gauntlet to the "heal wounds" thing if you aren't doing anything else, if you've strained any part of your body it could be a problem."

Attack ideas(size: 13 GB)

Attack ideas? Thats my file! Why is it in there? Wait, it isn't. Its A WHOOPING 13 GB. My attack ideas file is only 2.5 KB and has about 5 ideas in it. That thing must have an insane amount of ideas.

Oh okay then

General_Urist the water list is right below Minor Task, it's included in the battlefield state.

THE HEXAGONAFIELD:
State: Storm - Water 13 feet deep(entities drown if not protected)(+24 feet/turn, -10 feet/turn)
Entities protected: Daskter's entities(island), Alchemiter(floating raft), The_Two_Eternities entities(weak water shield), Utility entities(various), CaptainNZZZ's forces(WRD), Space Station/Apex(flying), Critical Whale(water-breather)
Unprotected: Winkins entities, Scarlet prince/Eeveelutionary Eevee, Explosion Elemental/K.I.N.G., Mazinger Zero, Festums, JOEbob's entities, Worker Army, Shipyard

I tell everyone that if that they wish to a small entity can stand on the alchemitter most likely,I then wait until any of there is to be on the Alchemitter before REINFORCING it to better stand against Waves and be more floaty

I then try asking the Concept oF Optimisation to further Improve the Ship making it even more resistant to whatever Storm comes at it

Charging...2/12

With a sudden rush of water I'm not off my feet and float in the now virtual sea that the Hexagonafield has become. 'Well shit. Dozens of things to do and too little in time to do all of them.' I think to myself as I hold my breath and look over the new aquatic battlefield. 'Well right now I going to need to try and help Xerath win and hopefully survive. But first, I wish for a lifeboat with a tarp covering it to appear so I can use it.' Suddenly I'm out of the water and I'm sitting on a small life boat and I can hear the hail of rain crash against the tarp that sits as a roof above the Lifeboat. 'Right so i did not have to swim for it, That will do thank you.' I look out from under the tarp towards the current battle between Xerath and the Godmodder copy.

'Damn, What to do. Xerath is on his last leg and he seems to have a death-wish. We need something that will either take Xerath back from the brink of death or that will keep him alive long enough to put down the Godmodder copy so he will survive because of the Player rules be reapplied to him after the fight, At least I hope that they will after the fights over.'

I lean back in the Lifeboat and I listen to the pounding of the rain against the tarp. 'Hmm, I wonder if all this rain is connected with the duel? It started about 3 turns before Xerath arrived to duel the Godmodder and since then it has been steadily getting worse as the duel reaches it's final phase. Plus the rain keeps on pouring despite attempts to stop it. Hmm... Well I guess we will now for certain if the Rain suddenly starts letting up after the duel is over.'

'But back to the matter at hand, how to prevent Xerath's impending death... Well I guess if he could telepo... THAT'S IT!'
I shoot up from where I was leaning against the Lifeboat as I remember the Teleport vest I give to Winry all that time ago. 'But She vanished off to somewhere after CoreBrute Vanished so I'm sure how to find it. Hmm, I guess I can just wish for it. Eh here it goes. I wish for the Teleport vest that I gave to Winry!'

Focus action -"Way back at Update LXXIV"

Winry sat at the crime lab. Her job here had been finished for awhile now, The Traitor that was destroying the Space Station and killing the space engineers had been defeated. Sadly something had happen to Corebrute, She was not sure what but he had vanished awhile ago which left her with no orders. MooGoesCow who was in charge of the space station had seeming forgotten about her and had left her in the crime lab without any orders either. She let out a sigh, The only one who had done anything with her was when Captain.Cat had gifted her the Teleport vest for her own protection, which she was wearing right now.

While she had waited She had taken about the Crime lab trying to understand all the machinery and science that went into it, She had to say that it was some of the most impressive stuff she had ever seen, While her inner engineer was at first leaping with joy at being able to work with this technology, Taking it apart and then reassembling it. But after awhile something felt wrong. She could barely muster up the energy to keep studying the tech that surrounded her.

She was not sure what it was but it felt like she was... Fading she supposed. Winry was not entirely sure why this was the case but she had a hunch. She had been able to observe similar events in other entities when their summoner had vanished that they too would soon cease existing, She suspected that entities kind of used their Summoner as a tether that keep them in the battlefield. If the Summoner was for whatever reason gone then there was nothing holding the entities to this realm and they would soon vanish.

A possible exception to this is if the summoned entity attached themselves to another summoner which would then give them another tether to this realm. Although in the case of the Peacekeepers that may not be the case. Maybe it was because of all the time and energy that both Captain.Cat and the Godmodder had spent on them. The Godmodder working to convent them to his cause while Captain.Cat fought to protect them from the Godmodder's attempts to control and harm them. Perhaps all the power that was used on them along with how long they had been on the field had ended up making them self-sustaining, Making them natives to this realm in a sense.

Granted the only way to know for sure would be if Captain.Cat vanished and then see if the Peacekeepers remained or not.

Winry looked down at her left hand and saw that it had become transparent along with the rest of her arm. Rubbing the fingers together she could barely feel them. While normally this would be horrifying to anyone she could barely muster up a hmm in reaction. She guessed that when one faded that they lost most of their ability to care what happen to themselves. It would explain the mute reactions that ones she observed had when they began to vanish.

Well she was certain that nothing could be done about it now, It was spreading across her body, with it slowly becoming transparent and then disappearing. She had a good run she guessed, She had greatly enjoyed her time With CoreBrute and BrutalCore, Along with all the others she had meet along the way.

She looked down again at the Teleport vest that she was wearing. She supposed that there was no reason to keep wearing it, It was noting going to do her any good now. With a surprising amount of effort needing to placed into the act he removed the Teleport vest and placed it on the console of the crime lab computer.

Maybe it would come in use for the other players at some point in the future. With that she lean back into the chair and watch as most of her body disappeared.

As the processed was coming to a close a last thought enter her mind, She hoped that wherever CoreBrute and her other friends were that she would see them again. With that Winry vanished from the Hexagonafield.

"Winry Wake up!" 'wha?' Slowly Winry raised he head. Looking down it look like her desk? "Winry, Dear are you alright?" Looking to her right saw Pinako, her Grandmother looking up at her with a look of concern on her face.
'Had I been asleep?' Winry wondered to herself her mind and body feeling sluggish. "I'm alright Grandmother." Winry said still feeling half asleep. Pinako stilled looked up at her with concern and rosed her left hand to Winry's face. "Then why are you crying?" Pinako said gently as he wiped a stream of tears from her granddaughter's face.

Winry touched her own face felt the tears her face. "I... I don't know." Winry said in confusion as to why she had been.

Back in the present

Suddenly the Teleport vest appears in my hands 'Alright! it worked... Hmm, I hope Winry is doing well where every she is. Well, I can't worry about her now. Anyway now to get this to Xerath!' I look over to the battle between Xerath and Godmodder Copy that is becoming increasing hard to see between the rain keeps beating down about the Lifeboat's roof that I sit under and the waves of the ocean that rock the boat that are made from battle going all around the field but I'm still able to see the duel between the two.'Right! I wish for the teleport vest to be given to Xerath!' The Teleport vest suddenly is overcome with a red flash of light before then suddenly appearing around Xerath's chest!

I'm appear to see that the teleport vest had gotten to Xerath. "Yes!" I shout out in joy seeing that he had gotten it. 'Right but I need to tell him what it does so he won't waste it on accident. Well I hope that this works. I wish to be able to speak to Xerath telepathically.' After A moment I what sounds like Xerath cursing coming from inside my mind. 'Right I'm not you kind here me But listen I just give to a teleport vest, It will automatically protect you from a attack that would otherwise be fatal by teleporting you out of the way of the attack making it miss. I and everyone else here wants to see you survive this! I don't want to see anymore players get killed by the Godmodder!" I mentally plead with Xerath.

(OOC: Right, I kind of let this one get away from me so sorry if I ended up coming off as rambling in the above post, I ended up writing this while I was sleep deprived. I more or less tried to give Winry a bit of a happy ending by having her wake up in her own world in the cannon Fullmetal Alchemist universe sometime before or during the events of the series. Anyway whoever ends up reading this I hope that you enjoy it.)

Update LXXXVIII
The Improbability drive continues whirring.
6/10 for Punishment

Piono wakes up to see Xerath... losing.
Piono salutes him as he stands up.
"Good luck in whatever afterafterlife may exist Xerath. You deserved better than this."
Actions 1-2: The Ettin 19/20

Action 3:
I pass Xerath an ancient scroll, handed down for centuries by an order of monks. The scroll details the potent KAMIKAZE METHOD, whereby a dying man may become more powerful and stronger than he would be otherwise, shrugging off all damage and ignoring all pain until his objective is complete. Then, and only then, will the man succumb to his injuries and die.

Xerath takes the KAMIKAZE SCROLL.

Xerath: Thank you.

"Well first off you do not have to serve me you have free will and can make your own decisions i will not force you to do anything"

I spend all my actions uploading data about what has happened so far to the AI and just talking to the AI and answering their question

Also i order the Space engineers to make a portal to the digital realm so the AI has somewhere to go if the space station is destroyed

oh and as a free action i give the space station another orb

Quantum computer: Thank you. If I do not need to serve you, I shall protect my home.

Quantum computer: New directive: PROTECT SPACE STATION

You discuss with the AI, and update it on the situation.

Quantum computer: Two prime directives detected: PROTECT SPACE STATION, and DEFEAT THE GODMODDER. Will attempt to accomplish these and sub-objectives.

You upgrade the Space Station to SPACE STATION III! The Space Engineers begin creation of a digital realm portal! This will take some time.

Until something I think I should possess comes along I'll use the ghost to spy and and protect my festum from the storm and will convert the rest of my actions to charges!

What did I tell you? If you don't specify an action amount, I'll use all your power on the action, or just 1 action... You use ALL YOUR POWER to make sure that the Festums have shoulder-floaties that keeps them floating above water! They are A-OK! The ghost agrees to spy... but on what?

Dragon of Hope?!?
I think you missed it, but they all died. Which is the reason their not on the battlefield.

Orders: The Barracks will now start to build their own add-ons... 2Tech Labs and 3Reactor Labs the first in a long time will finally come to play once again.

SCVs:
I pull 15 of them to finish up the Science Facility which leaves 8 with no current objective. That would not be fair, so I give them the order to build anything. I tell to build preferably a Barracks, but they can build a Bunker if they want, or just assist the Barracks building their add-ons.

Soldiers are given 1 turn of rest, for they know that something big is about to come extremely soon.

Actions:

2x I help the Flagbearer on his study of aura and speeches.

1x I take a multiplier orb, for The Factory!

2x(from Reserve)=2x The Battleship is ever closer to completion... Reserve Charges is poured into the factory to accelerate production

Current Production Points:
2-2=0
There is no reserves right now.

"Hey Ray want to come see my new Entity in production? I ask what do you think of it?"
It's not spoiler if he's just telling what he thinks is wrong about this entity....

The barracks begin upgrading themselves! You also take your reserves to help the Battleship forward. And a multiplier orb! And you help the Flagbearer!

Ray: The Battleship? Hmm...

Ray: It needs multiplier orbs!

Snapping my fingers I FOCUS, hundreds of bottles of water and prepackaged food goods appearing around my entities, equally distributing them to every one of my entities. That should buy my forces some time while a more permanent solution is created.

Looking over at Rotaz I tell him to quit the improved Eagle spawner to focus on a more important project, an automated water and food production and distribution center to deal with these annoying new mechanics. Similar orders are given to Undead Einstein for him to join Rotaz in solving this issue once he finishes his research on accuracy improvements. The rest of my entities are told to continue draining efforts against the rising water, hopefully increasing the water meter in the process.

You summon a bunch of water and food and equally distribute it to your entities! However, you have a HUGE army! The skeletons are consuming a massive amount of the food, despite being skeletons! It looks like these arbitrary mechanics care little for logic! +15% food and water!

Rotaz switches gears, throwing out the old research he'd barely started on. Food and water is more important!

Something powerful is up there in the clouds huh? I'll start dealing with that...
1. I put together a giant laser, aim into the heart of the storm, and fire. I turn it up to 11, and make the laser never end until it is inevitably soaked. Gotta start chipping away at the monster in the sky somehow...
2. Xerath, it is unlikely that I could do anything to make sure you survive this, but... I should be able to assist you one last time. I reinforce his broken body, allowing him to continue fighting even while mortally wounded.
3. Uno momento mas por favor! (14/15)

You put together a big laser, and fire the beam into the sky, hoping to stop whatever's up there! Shortly after it begins firing, another, much bigger laser obliterates both your laser and the area in a 100-foot radius immediately around it.

You reinforce Xerath, allowing him to keep moving.

Action 1: I build an Anti-Water Shell that repels water in a small radius, and set it down to create a shield for entities that would otherwise drown.

Action 2: So, Xerath is dead. Except, there's ways to stop death. Namely, a short-duration jaunt back in time would be enough to save him from death, should he win the Sealed Duel to allow the effect to not be blocked.

Action 3: I grab a Headquarters from Creeper World 3 and land it on Daskter's island, as part of the Anti-Water faction. The Headquarters begins deploying collectors and anti-liquid blasters and mortars to begin destroying the water. As their weapons are designed solely for attacking a liquid enemy, they cannot pose a threat even if subverted somehow.

You set up an available anti-water shell! It can shield minor entities that would otherwise be unshielded.

You make a note of a possible way to save Xerath. You do nothing to the effect of what you noted.

The ANTI-WATER ARMY moves out! They begin to obliterate as much water as possible! But the water fights back, lightning and wind tearing down bases as fast as they can build up! Still, that's -4 feet of water per turn!

I note the Build-Your-Baby boxes next to Companion Rover and Void Guard's room and shy away from the area...

(Action!)(3 Charges)
(1 Charge)
Water. Water? Drowning? DROWNING!? WHAT! NO!
Noticing all the water that just started to go into the Rice Shrine compound I took a charge allowance this turn and spend it into making a ball of arcane light. The ball proceeds to expand, engulfing the area around my field and pushing a majority of the water which threatens to drown my entities out and letting only a a few streams of water through for the rice fields.
(underwater dome formed around the rice shrine)
(2 Charges)
Of course with 2 charge left I decided to have a large collaboration between almost all of my entities into this one project. And so I toss 2 charges into the Lightwards mages budget once again. But not just that, Void Guard, and Void Rover will be donating their shields till the project finally completes with Companion Rover giving his analysis on the Assassin Bros testing on the wards durability.

All for the sake of making Rice Shrines Great Again!

(Orders)
Lightward Mages, My Void entities and the Companion Rover works on a HUGE project! (At least 3 turns worth of entity's actions and the occasional charge or two)
The Bun Queen and Bun Baron and 4 more buns pulls away from the Assassin's bunny clique and start creating Bunny Burrows!

The Rice Shrine is protected by an underwater dome! So long as it is alive, the rest of your entities are safe! Your entities all begin work on a BIG project!

Focus X3.

I give Xerath a device that can do a automatic emergency injection of player power. If you are mortally wounded and used the last of a player's power, the power would activate and stabilize the player... However you are not gonna have any power left do to much. Deal 2 damage to the sealed Godmodder even with a attack boosted by mortally wounded and instead of dying you basically just pass out. (Doesn't counter bleeding though.) There are safeguards to prevent the energy from being used up in the attack. Through, Xerath, I added a switch that disables the safeties and let you use this energy in an attack, if you believe your attack won't do enough damage...

Xerath takes the device. He is given a choice...

Xerath: ...

FOCUS: EEVEELUTION

With some advanced genetics, I grant the Eeveelutionary Eevee an ability to adapt to any situation.

"Eeveelutionary Eevee, start adapting to the water!"

(OOC: Hey Moniker, the Second Scarlet Prince and the Eeveelutionary Eevee are my entities, so you might want to fix that next turn.

Also, this is basically granting the Eeveelutionary Eevee a self-improvement power.)

(OOC: My mistake. Fixed.)

The Eeveelutionary Eevee is given adapation powers! They can draw on the abilities of their forms to give them strength! Right now, they're beginning to adapt to the water!

Terry presses F, and salutes to Xerath.
----
FOCUS X 3
Terry walks around, at extreme speed, searching for the Godmodder's headquarters.

You walk around a LOT, and reduce the search area by 150B each way!

FOCUS

Deposit accepted. Soon, you'll be able to up your account to GOLD STATUS.

The shield generator and hexagonashield generator discover they are now on a partially built boat. the EISL is dead so who cares, and somno should be fine for another turn or 2.\
Somno, keep working on overheal.

So... this bed I made, one of its functions is to preserve and connect dreams. thats how I had my conversation with the God of dreams without going through the "why am I here...?" thing every time.

CHARGE BOOSTER ROLL: 9/16 - It works fine.

Xerath wakes up. With the God of Dreams assistance, you (sort of) managed to bypass the non-interference shield! Xerath has been healed back to "Critically wounded"! And better yet, you gave Xerath the SNOW FIGHT SPRAYER and GAUNTLET OF USEFULNESS.

Xerath: ... I didn't think you'd try so hard to save me. But I appreciate this.

Xerath: I wish a different path was available, but I have to see this through.

Xerath: Besides... you want to reunite me and Alice, right?

Xerath: I don't think it's a good idea. I've seen what's happened to her... hopefully, you won't have to fight.

Xerath: I won't see her again. And this is the best way. The only way!

The bank states that they do not officially deal in godmodder actions, but if you get one for them, they will see what they can do.

1. I give a '-'7 to Xerath, and steal a Multiplier Orb for the Obsidian Generator
2-3: I charge to 5/10

You grab a Multiplier Orb! But since the Obsidian Generator isn't an entity, it can't receive the orb's power.

The Shipyard is properly immunized! Water is no longer a concern for it!

You make a critical mistake with your Yorehammer attack - you used the same path as last time! The godmodder already relocated the Boost Stone to an entirely different universe! Its not that a defense stopped you - it's that you targeted what wasn't even there!

Frustrated, you throw the Yorehammer at JOEbob... and are struck with the LEGENDARY WEAPON OLIGARCHY CURSE!

Players such as JOEbob, Eternalstruggle, and Crusher have made excessive use of the Yorehammer, rather than sharing it with other newer Players! The godmodder decides to step in, and put a stop to this terrible injustice! You are like little children, and he is like the parent taking the toy away. The toy in question is the Yorehammer. It's his again! He re-equips it and takes 1 damage.

You exchange your AD for regular actions once again. The bank makes a note that AD-purchasable entities are still a work in progress.

Welcome to the game! As I've said before, you're welcome to ask any questions here or in the OOC thread. Also, talking to NPCs counts as a free action, as does giving entity orders.

Liferafts and jackets drop down, giving JOEbob's entities extra gear to help stave off the water!

The plane shoots high into the clouds, scanning, scanning, scanning... The pilot (or is it automated?) clings to the wheel for dear life as the plane is battered by the storm! Worse yet, this thing is actively resisting your attempt to scan it!

As scanning attempts continue, it seems like nothing is going to happen... then, a light dings! All instruments on the ship go black, and one screen, a name can be seen... the pilot only catches a few letters before the storm becomes too much and the plane is destroyed.

T__ _OU___ZER

I tell everyone that if that they wish to a small entity can stand on the alchemitter most likely,I then wait until any of there is to be on the Alchemitter before REINFORCING it to better stand against Waves and be more floaty

I then try asking the Concept oF Optimisation to further Improve the Ship making it even more resistant to whatever Storm comes at it

Charging...2/12

You reinforce the Alchemiter, allowing one more entity to stand on it! Any unprotected entities will automatically opt to take this. You then convert the alchemiter into the ALCHEMITING SHIP, capable of holding the alchemiter, weathering the storm, and holding one extra entity!

*sniff* It was beautiful... at least one character could get their happy ending, regardless of whatever crappy fanfic they originated from.

Xerath acquires the TELEPORT VEST!

Enemy Buff Ticket + Enemy Heal Ticket: Enemy Rejuvenation Ticket: Boost an enemy stat's significantly and regenerate their HP! Cost: 5 actions. Payment 4

3/??
Using the three charges I help with the evolvers boat
Using my first action I grab a multiplier orb for the drones
Using my second action I point out that the drones have wings and thus are flappy, heh flappity flappity flap are less able to drown
Using my third action I grab a multiplier orb and shove it into the space station
I order the workers to construct headquarters for the cult (which for now will be a mobile home on the alleged boat), I order the recruiters to recruit in places where there are lots of souls, I order the gatherers to gather any useful materials they find/see, I order the healers to heal any injured drones or other cult entities if they are injured, I order the guards to guard other drones (with higher priority for drones near extinction or drones under threat), I order the breeders to keep the drone ratio at 1:1:1:1:1:[1.3 breeders]. cult action is what JOE said.

You ensure the Evolver completes the boat on time! The entities are quite ready to ride out the storm! The worker army uses their wings to fly and escape the water! The Worker Army will do as you say.

The Space Station is now the SPACE STATION IV! Do note that you can only take 1 Orb per turn so I prioritized the one you were actually using.

---------

V:

Winkin's entities are all hard at work on their major project!

AG:

The AG entities are all trying hard to survive, and spend some time adjusting to their new homes on the water! When will things go back to normal? Will the water EVER go back to normal?

Daskter's Army builds the Science facility and a Bunker, which protects the entire marine force! The Explosion Elemental and Mazinger Zero founder, but Mazinger Zero rockets up aboard the Alchemitership, and the Explosion Elemental takes the unclaimed water pod! So that's... most of the AG side safe!

The Pawns continue to explore the HEXAGONAFIELD. Since they're far away, and outside whatever basin is keeping the water in, they are mostly unaffected. But... are they getting less effective as the search area is narrowed down?

Ray decides to put out their last 2 Energy capsules. All possible Multiplier Orbs are now available for taking!

Ray: Yeah, the next boss is definitely coming soon, so stock up while you have the chance! Remember, I think its best that as many units as possible have these!

PG:

The godmodder admires the rising water with satisfaction - and his Yorehammer, which is his once more!

He charges up a new 2/2 charge, and expends his previous one, to summon THE FISHERY! This entity can't attack - only fish! And what's more - it gains buffs the more water is on the HEXAGONAFIELD! Its true power will be revealed momentarily.

N:

The Neutral side is having many of the same dilemmas as the AG side. Thankfully, most everyone has something to resist the water with.

The Worker Army gets started on an HQ, but quickly runs out of the resources they need just as they get going. They also use the cult action to grab a Multiplier Orb.

CaptainNZZZ's Army is suffering! The storm outside is the least of their problems. They immediately consume the new food, and have to dig into emergency reserves once again! It looks like they need 20% food and water each turn, totaling 40% resources - but CaptainNZZZ is having a tough time providing more than 30% each turn! And they're down to 5% of food and water now! If only there were some other way to get these resources... like water... Rotaz starts work on an infinite food generator, and Undead Einstein finishes researching accuracy!

The bank of actions increments everyone's accounts, and sends all account holders presentations of their latest reward plans. The ranking system is coming out soon!

SEALED DUEL:

Xerath prepares to strike! However... the godmodder activates a secret effect of his Highly Focused power and attacks first!

The godmodder figured you'd try to do this. So he had adjusted things quite carefully. He'd go first this time, THEN Xerath would go. And now, the godmodder would unleash... one of his best attacks. The TRI-PULSE DESTRUCTOR WAVE. Three waves in one!

The godmodder activates the FIRST WAVE. Wisps of purple form a circle around the godmodder, which immediately begins expanding outward! Xerath can see the very molecules of the air within being slowed eaten to nothing! Within 30 seconds, half of the arena is overtaken! Thinking fast, Xerath activates the GAUNTLET OF USEFULNESS and SNOW FIGHT SPRAYER! He immediately builds a snow fortress! But that won't stop the wave will it? It will... if Xerath temporarily builds a Snow Portal to the SNOW DIMENSION, and hides out there while the wave passes!

But he emerges just in time for the SECOND WAVE! This one is an incredibly fast pulse of antimatter! It only takes 3 seconds to clear the whole arena! Time slows down for Xerath, as he sees it speeding towards him... only one way to survive this! He'll have to find some way to take it! First, Xerath uses the Player Power Injection Device! Next, he uses the Kamikaze Scroll! Using the extra Player Power, he gains resistance to damage and pain! And then, he leaps through the antimatter wave! ...And it's a terrible idea! He does manage to survive, but the explosions of his very being leave his soul flickering in and out... he is down once again to Mortally Wounded.

The godmodder now activates the THIRD WAVE. An incredibly fast shield quickly expands around the godmodder - it is made of one inch, and only one inch, of instant death nanobots. If one so much as touches you, it will chomp at you and eat away until you are dead. Xerath tries to get up, but can only watch as the final wave comes towards him... he closes his eyes... Then opens them, as nothing happens. He's on the other side of the one-inch thick shield! It passed him over! Then he realizes... the Teleport Vest! It teleported him through the wall, allowing him to survive! And that means... the godmodder's attack is over.

It's HIS turn.

Xerath's thoughts go blank. Everything else is overriden by one, last driving purpose: To kill this overpowered being, who stole everything from him. To defeat the godmodder. To ensure that this never happens to anyone else ever again! And if that takes all that he has, all that makes him him... then so be it.

Xerath is filled with a rush of extreme power and creativity! His body begins to glow blue, despite continuing to flicker as though it has bad reception! He can do ANYTHING, if he can just think of how! THIS is the power of a Player!

The godmodder is thrown back at lightning speed as Xerath blasts forward, all signs of his previous weakness gone! Xerath starts with a punch across the face - not just any punch, but one that breaks the laws of physics to go faster than the speed of light! And what's more, the resulting sonic boom it creates is redirected entirely into the godmodder's ears, with his deafness being cured beforehand, JUST SO HE CAN GO DEAF A SECOND TIME! The godmodder throws him off, and tries to run away into his nearby house! Wait a minute, the godmodder doesn't have a home! Suddenly, the godmodder finds himself in a nightmarish maze of Home Alone traps, with every single movement he makes inevitably resulting in no less than 1,342,524,543,453e+10 traps going off and slamming every last part of his body! And it turns out the home was secretly the home of the Devourer, who puts the godmodder in his mouth... then chews him as gum instead of swallowing, before spitting him out into the trash! Xerath then collects the trash, and fills it with Murder Acid - fluoromantic acid that TRIES to murder its victims! The godmodder is boiled alive, then served as a delicious barbecue, which Xerath eats! Then, when the godmodder is back to normal, Xerath creates an entire universe, the same scale as our own, with trillions of stars and planets full of incredibly advanced alien civilizations specifically specializing in inflicting pain on warfare, and forces the godmodder to go on a 1,000,000,000+ year campaign to conquer all the planets all on his own, and THEN the universe implodes, just because! And finally... Xerath hits the godmodder IN THE FACE!

The Godmodder Copy is sent flying away! 4 damage dealt! That's 13 total! The Godmodder Copy explodes in a shower of debris and lost energy, and the 13 damage is transferred to the regular godmodder!

XERATH HAS WON THE SEALED DUEL!

...But only technically.

Xerath falls to the ground, and the Players quickly swoop in with a boat to catch him. His body is flickering now, ready to disappear. At the very least, by attacking, he went on his own terms, rather than the godmodder's. But in doing so, he left his soul vulnerable. The godmodder has claimed his power, and no healing spells can save him now.

The godmodder hovers close by as you gather around Xerath. It was a mistake for him to betray the godmodder. However, out of some twisted respect for his service, he will be allowed a few words.

Xerath: Everyone...

Cera: Xerath...

Xerath: If only things could have been different.

Xerath: Don't... feel guilty. It had to be this way.

Cera: No, it didn't! It didn't have to be this way!

Xerath: You don't understand...

Cera: That's what you ALWAYS say! Why can't you ever ch-

You hush Cera. Now is not the time.

Xerath: Listen... I don't know what awaits me. Is there another life, if the godmodder takes my own soul?

Xerath: But I have to warn you. Alice is coming. I've seen her. The godmodder's made her... another one...

Xerath: I'd say take good care of her... but... if you...

Xerath loses focus for a moment, like he forgot what he was going to say... or maybe, he lacks the strength to finish. His body is barely here now, and you can feel his Player powers being siphoned from him... going to the godmodder...

Xerath: Just... kill the godmodder... for me and... all the others!

...

Xerath has been slain.

With the water as deep as 20 feet, you suddenly start to notice... fish! Schools of beautiful, beautiful fish! But wait... the godmodder's fishery... they're going to try and catch the fish, right? What could they possibly do with them?

Cera: Listen, everyone... if there's one thing I know about Xerath, it's that he's extremely stubborn. When he's set, he's set.

Cera: He probably thought that his death was something that needed to happen. Considering that, we did the absolute best we could.

Cera: Don't beat yourself up over this. We got a lot of godmodder damage in, the Soulraze forces no longer have a Player leading them.

Cera: And... I promise, none of us are going to try to engage a Sealed Duel, that's for sure.

Cera: At any rate, it's time for me to leave. I can't be away from the others too long - and they haven't heard the news.

Before Cera heads out, he turns to Ray...

Cera: Hm? I haven't seen you before...

Ray: I'm special. I've been around a good deal longer.

Ray: Don't worry about me. I'm just here to deal Multiplier Orbs.

Cera shrugs, sets down a teleporter, and warps out.

Action 1: The Ettin 20/20
The Ettin is summoned to the HEXAGONAFIELD. As a reminder, he is immune to all damage, but will die instantly if ever the sun shines on him. He wears a Cloak of Shadows to prevent this eventuality, which can be disrupted with light-based attacks and ONLY with light-based attacks.

The Ettin will attack the Fishery

Action 2: I take a Multiplier Orb and apply it to the Ettin

Action 3: If I still have an action left, I give the Ettin an AMULET OF SOLIDITY, causing the water beneath his feet to be solid so that he can walk on the surface of the water and not be affected by the flooding.
