Defeat The Godmodder

into making sure the Fallen Captain dies of sudden antimatter embolism. (A embolism is when some form of foreign matter blocks up your blood stream) To be precise, a antimatter embolism inside his brain.
Could you at least specify "If he's still PG", please? It wouldn't be a terrible loss for me, but I do have a chance of converting him back to N.

Cybercrime II
Standing up confidently after recovering from the initial surprise attack, Deo smirks at the lazer system.

"I'm a Player huh?" A glowing device materialises on his left wrist. "Then I guess it's time,"

Deo snaps a deck into the disk, before drawing his opening hand.

"For my first move, I set one card face down!" Two large brown backed cards appear in front of him.

Will activate when the lazers attack me.

"Next I play my spell card," A large green card appears on the field. "Bait Doll!"

"And I target..." His hand lingers on the Legendaryweaponnotes.pad, before shifting to another file. "The nothing.zip! Reveal yourself! If there is a trap and the timing is incorrect, it's negated and destroyed!"

OOC: I don't have a third action, so is it alright if I sacrifice that action to make my other 2 choices more powerful? Or will that cost me the same amount of energy as using 3 actions? If it will cost me as much, I will only do my two actions this turn.

OOC: I know I just talked about turns and actions and things, but sidequests work a little differently - you get one action but you can do whatever with it. Like here. This is all fine.

You successfully use special cards to insulate yourself against one wrong move! It will only protect you once, though!

Dodging through the lasers, you dive into Nothing.zip! The lasers don't get any less intense inside the file, but you do see the contents!

Cyberenergy: +++++++++ 90%

Nothing.zip:

000001.doc
000002.doc
Up.zip
Down.zip

Looks like you've entered into some kind of file-maze! You have no idea how to navigate this. With your limited time reserves, committing to finding something in this mess is risky. You might not get anything out of it! But if you could find something, it would probably be REALLY important!

What's your next move?

OOC:
CoreBrute, if all else fails, try to corrupt the file headers of as many files as possible with your last action when running out of cyberenergy, before finally getting thrown out of the system. Might as well give GM a malus on his actions.
Also think of a way to put a backdoor for the next time you try to get in, since QM stated this was your one and only chance to get in, but actions of yours may be able to change that. Creativity is king here after all.

Inside the maze, Deo quickly whispers, "Adrienne'a Thread." summoning a ball of yarn in his hand, before tying the end to his entrance. He didn't want to get lost in this maze, and this should help him easily get back.

"Hmm, I'm not sure what I was expecting. Still, let's keep going." He heads to the Up.zip "I swear, if this is just that opening 10 minutes to that movie...damn it, I didn't make any tissues."

OOC: CoreBrute... Try the Konami Code.
OOC: How? There's no right left or A B.

OOC: How? There's no right left or A B.
OOC: This is a file maze. Each level of the maze doesn't necessarily need to have every option, just the next option. So it might look something like:
  • Nothing.zip
    • 000001.doc
    • 000002.doc
    • Up.zip
      • Up.zip
        • Danger.zip
        • Zebra.zip
        • Arceus.zip
        • Down.zip
          • ...
      • Left.zip
      • Right.zip
      • Down.zip
      • Forward.zip
      • Back.zip
    • Down.zip
If he included every relevant button on the top layer, that would be a dead giveaway. Of course, I might still be completely wrong. The Konami Code is 10 inputs long and you only have 90% cyberenergy left.

OOC: Well, if I don't see anything immediately apparent from file Up, I'm going back to get the notepad. Yeah it might be a trap but it might not be.

Update XXI
OOC: That was the plan. :p

I concentrate my power and with a flick of my wrist I summon...a (very likely to soon be shredded) blanket which I put onto the sleepy Cute Puppy, tucking it in for it's hopefully long nap.

With the rest of my power I concentrate, letting it build up for my future summoning.

A cute blanket covers the Puppy, making him even cuter and more comfortable! He'll sleep for a little longer!

I look at the space engineer portal, and get an idea. "You see," I whisper to MooGoesCow21, "the reason that the space engineers are picking random sides is because they don't know how evil the Godmodder is. But if I can prove that the Godmodder is a Diet Coke dealer, then the space engineers that come out will be shocked at his evilness, and join our side!" I proceed to do just that, FOCUSing on it.

(OOC: The proof... is this!
The space engineers come from a really weird society.)

DIET COKE DEALER!? The Space Engineers are absolutely SHOCKED! Who could ever deal diet coke! It's a terrible thing, and nobody in the Space Engineer society is addicted to it! Absolutely not!

For this reason, they will definitely help you! They will defect to the [PG] side! But it's only a PRETEND defection! They're secretly still helping you! Definitely!

(You're pretty sure you see the godmodder covertly passing them some randomized Diet Coke)

Examon Uses Draconic Impact on The Godmodder Stunning the Godmodder and causing damage to ALL entities in the vicinity after Examon does this I steal Starcalibur

The godmodder gives Examon the most terrifying, most random, glitchy death glare anyone's ever seen. Examon immediately realizes; trying to use the special ability on the godmodder would surely backfire horribly and cause its death. Maybe it would give you a random shot at Starcalibur, but do you really want to burn an Examon shooting for a 10% chance? It might be better to pick a different target.

The man looks at the Godmodder, and licks his lips. He really rather wants that legendary sword, to be honest. Even if it's just to play around with it a bit. Sorry Godmodder, but you have fat loot. He also knows it's technically unlikely that he can get it from this attack, but if he doesn't try hell never get it.

Hence, he teleports in front of the Godmodder and stabs him instantly, the moment he appears and before his teleport is even truly finished his blade is in motion, cutting at the Godmodder, weapon enchanted to slash straight through any possible defense without resistance.

Of course, he knows that's not enough. The Godmodder can defend against even instant no warning attacks. That's why a quantum clone of him appears and stabs the Godmodder in the back with the same speed. Quantum clones have many special and very useful properties, such as whichever one is the 'original' always being the last to die or the one that does the damage (in this case, grabs Starcalibur if he is lucky enough to do so at all.)

But the Godmodder has two arms, and could parry both slices, even though that's not really possible when you think about it, because he's the Godmodder.

That's why a second quantum clone also joins the assault, making his armor-piercing slash simultaneously with the other two figures, meaning the Godmodder is being attacked out of nowhere from three sides at once.

And just in case more has to be done, as this happens all three figures channel lightning through their swords to zap the Godmodder. Even if he's wearing fully sealed and insulated armor, the power will pool instantly in a miniature lightning bolt that will simply burn through the protection to do damage by way of raw energy, again before the previous slashes are even finished.

That should do the trick, and if it doesn't? Well, he has other stuff. After all, the Godmodder still has over 90% of his health. It wouldn't do to use his best attacks right away.

1 damage to the godmodder! The godmodder screams a terrifying shriek straight from and randomly insulates himself against banana damage in the future!

STARCALIBUR STEAL ROLL: It would be amazing to get it first try! But you didn't.

"Dreksis, my boy! Tell you what - I'll give you infinity + 1 x GOOGLEPLEX! ether! But wait, there's more! I'll throw in a promotion to Baron, free of charge!"

Dreksis happily turns back to AG!

I Throw all my energy into trying to get the Sword
I throw the last of my energy into getting the sword

You turn all your energy into a GRABBY CLAW HAND of RAW ENERGY! You reach out, and GRAB THE SWORD!

You now have THE SWORD! The godmodder still has Starcalibur, but you have THE SWORD! THE SWORD is a random, nonsensical mess of tinier swords! Whenever you try to stab something with it, it leaves that thing totally randomized! Is it just you, or is the godmodder looking a little less random?? And, wait... you can't let go of the sword... crap.

-30% godmodder randomness! You're stuck with random actions now!

With a smile I bring forth the Crypt of the Ancients.

By itself it's unimpressive, simply a fairly durable structure but that isn't where it's power lies. Should I use my power to bring forth an undead creature from it's depths it will not only be a bit stronger than usual but be bound to my will.

(basically just a building with a decent amount of HP by itself but when I use a post or posts to summon an undead from it the undead is permanently bound to my will and is a bit stronger than it would normally be than if I just summoned it without utilizing the Crypt of the Ancients. I used two of three posts to do this)

The Crypt of the Ancients summoned! It can help you summon undead things.

As my my second action, I hit a home run on the Link A!

For my third action, I teleport all of my loyal entities, plus myself, fifty thousand miles away from the main conflict.

4000 damage to Link A! You and the Fallen Captain warp far, far away!

I relies that my summons hurt the GM, and grab at the weapon
I preform a quick summon charge and teleport to the GM's computer

Oh, that's right!

STARCALIBUR STEAL ROLL: Better luck next time!

Now, when you say you teleport to the godmodder's computer, you mean you join CoreBrute on his sidequest, right? That's what I'm assuming, in any case.

I look around and have a sudden Idea! Cyber Dragon Attack the unglitched monster.

The Cyber Dragon will target Link A!

Action 1:
"Oh hell. Hell. Again." The gleaming silver swore while looking around the blasted fiery wasteland from his vantage point in the sky, watching as the souls of the damned were being tormented.

Casually backhanding a greater demon that had grown a bit too curios for its own good, the player sighs and speaks. "I am probably getting too soft, but leaving these people to suffer eternally is just... wrong. Especially if there are any players unfortunate enough to get stuck down here."

With a rallying cry ferocious enough to be heard all the way back to heaven the gleaming figure dives towards the earth, and landing in an explosion of holy magic. Kills Imps, demons, and devils by the dozens. "Brothers!" he cries. "Sisters!" he roars. "The hour of your liberation is at hand! Take up your arms! Take up the arms of your oppressors! Tonight we slay our captors! Tomorrow We feast in the fields of HEXAGONA!!!"

Action 2:
The shining knight looks around and grins wickedly beneath its helmet. "Still, no reason I couldn't do some other stuff while I'm down here."
The knight withdraws on players and creativity from the player Inventory, and pours over it while his commanders debate on troop placements and logistics.
"Chapter two, the powers of players"

Action 3:
Gahtering the butchered remains of demons and fiends, the radiant figure began transmuting them into various magical and technological parts and pieces.

"Charge is incredibly important. Lets see if I can make it a even better investment."

He beings to hum a familiar, yet slightly off key tune

Your combination of computer technology and time terminology start to come together to make your CHARGE STONE machine! This is a big project, but it could have big dividends!

I put 2 of my actions + the favor from

into making sure the Fallen Captain dies of sudden antimatter embolism if he's still PG (A embolism is when some form of foreign matter blocks up your blood stream) To be precise, a antimatter embolism inside his brain.

My third action is used to to boost

Thank goodness, he's turned AG!

Looking at Link A i can't help but think 'Damn that thing looks tough and i don't think my army men will be able to take him out on their own. Hmm well time for death from above! I wish for B29 Super fortress to bomb Link A back to the stone age!' Suddenly a B29 Super fortress appears in the sky and after a few moments drops it's payload onto Link A, But instead of dropping bombs its dropping 48 stones that weigh at 100 pounds each on top of Link A! Then the B29 Super fortress flies away. '...Okay not what I had in mind!' I let out a pained sigh.

"Soldiers attack th-" Suddenly the ground rumbles and out of the plastic Forest appears more Plastic bugs, and guess what they still want to kill everyone! "Nevermind! Soldiers take out those bugs!" "Wilco!" One of the army men shouts before they start pouring down rounds on the attacking bugs!

Special Weapons Depot: (locked until rear support elements is researched) Costs 500 plastic to build, Can build Flame troopers, Remote Controlled Robobombs(Locked until researched) Flak jackets upgrade, Power armor upgrade(locked until Researched) Grenade launchers.

Flame Trooper Lvl1
: 35 hitpoints, Armed with a M-2 Flamethrower, does 50 damage on a hit, Special: If an enemy is hit by their flamethrower they must take a action to put out the flames or they will burn for another 30 damage on the next turn, this effect lasts until they put out the fire. Costs: 300 plastic to build one Flame trooper.
Flak Jacket Upgrade: First must be researched and then 600 plastic must be spent on it at the Special weapons Depot, Then Flak jackets will be automatically given to all army men giving them all 35 extra hitpoints.
Grenade launchers: First must be researched and then 400 plastic must be spent on it at the Special weapons depot, Then Grenade launchers will be given to all Riflemen boosting their damage by 25 when they hit a enemy.

6000 damage to Link A! This time around, the army men immediately grind the Plastic bugs into dust, and harvest a mere 500 plastic off their corpses! Looks like they were summoned way weaker this time, for some reason...

---------

AG:

Examon, C'thun + The Seraph, and the Cyber Dragon unleash their attacks on Link A, managing to kill it before it causes any problems!

The Army men crush all the PG Space engineers! They also finish improving the Machine Gunners, doubling their attack once again!

Cloak pulls out some children's chalk and starts tracing a summon circle on the ground.

PG:

The Space Engineer Portal summons 5 new Space Engineers! The cute puppy rolls over in his nap, out of the comfortable blanket... still sleeping, though!

The godmodder yells, and tries to expel some of the randomness from his body! He successfully sends 20% of the random spilling out onto the battlefield! The Glitch Remover Array suddenly goes into automatic mode, spinning up and pointing a beam at the randomness! Slowly, the randomness is drawn towards the Glitch Remover Array... but then, the randomness randomly speeds up, slamming into the Array at a higher volume than it was meant to take! The randomness brutally slams into the Array, and splits out in two directions, nailing C'thun and Examon! The entities are immediately made completely random!

The godmodder again begins muttering incantations, trying to summon something! Except, instead of incantations, it's just a lot more ear-splitting screeching! This guy just isn't stopping!

N:

Not much happens over on the N side of the field.

------------

ITINERARY:
-Defeat The Godmodder! Damaging him gives you a shot at a legendary weapon!
-Find some way to resolve the godmodder's randomness! Maybe the Glitch Remover Array?

Minor tasks:
Keep the Cute Puppy entertained before it destroys everything, and find some way to deal with it permanently! Right now, it's resting... FOR NOW.
Seal up the engineer portal! Alternatively, find a way to convert the Space Engineers properly!
Mess with CaptainNZZZ, he's acquiring a big power base. Still don't know whether he's going after the AGs or PGs.
The army men get stronger over time! Guide and protect them!

OOC: How? There's no right left or A B.

At any time, you can navigate to any file/path you've already seen once without having to use an action for every level you go up/down. For example, now that you've dodged and dashed into Up.zip, you could still open 000001 and only need to use one action. If anything, the lasers only get more intense now that you've gone deeper into things!

I preform a quick summon charge and teleport to the GM's computer

Welcome to the party! Of course, since you're both in the computer now, things should be easier, right? The lasers should split their power between the two of you, giving you both more time. WRONG. The godmodder's defense system freaks out even more! You thought the entire place had been bathed in red emergency light before, but now it's even redder! An increasingly ridiculous amount of lasers blast the both of you, forcing you each to be both everywhere and nowhere at once! It's really, really exhausting!

With the situation like this, you both have less energy! The good news is, you can do stuff twice as fast with two people, so you have more actions than you started with between the both of you! However, you both have smaller amounts of energy individually! If this is going to be a team sidequest, you'll need to coordinate!

I grab a M16A1 and proceed to shoot all of the space engineers with it. (OOC: I mean, I could do an anti-drug campaign, but the Godmodder has no other units, so it'll probably get countered by a pro-drug campaign.)

Turning my attention to the Crypt of the Ancients the entrance opens with a ghostly wail and a group of fifteen undead warriors appear, bound to my will.

The undead soldiers disperse themselves around the Crypt of the Ancients, ready to defend it from attack.

The fact you skipped my attack result and I'm apparently not even in the player list can only mean one thing!

I clearly aced a Stealth Check of such epic proportions I disappeared from everyones' notice, including the player list and the Godmodder's attention and have thus hit him without him even noticing, denying him any defense for the delayed damage he takes due to that ultimate sneak attack!

Since he hasn't noticed the damage he's taking, I will

FOCUS:
on taking refuge in audacity and using the program Audacity to tailor fit the frequencies and raise the damage inflicted to him due to the better understanding of his natural defenses I got from attacking him unnoticed at my leisure last turn!

Top 10 Anime Betrayals

(0 turns to summon ancient technology = ancient technology summoned)

As I walked through the museum I found an intact energy manipulator. This happened when I tried to use it:

They say power corrupts and ultimate power corrupts ultimately. It is true.

I never wanted to save my species from impending doom. I also wasn't traveling into the future to save the ascended flux. I was a criminal in a world in which a machine-god (aka ascended flux) read your mind and prevented you from doing bad things.

For this I used an old energy manipulator (its name was Tyfinghank, which meant something like [Vessel of Life]).
Everything goes just as planned.

The first thing I did with the manipulator was shielding my thoughts for the time I needed. Then I let the manipulator think of a plan to overthrow the FLUX and becoming a god with unlimited followers. This plan turned into a small encrypted addition to my brain.

Now that I used this manipulator again the encryption is free. And I am too.

Long before my birth there was a heavenly being. Cruel but powerful, devouring souls and growing stronger. I did not know about it but the ancient manipulator knew. The manipulator also knew that this being should have lasted forever, but did not. It almost starved because of lacking supply of souls to devour.
But it did not perish. It slept.
It was powerful, even stronger than the ascended flux.

I want to be more than some player, fighting against such heavenly being. I want to be powerful. More powerful than pitiful players, struggling against a strong foe.
The set countdown goes to its end and indicates the last stage of the plan.

...3 ...2 ...1 ...0

The "unknown matter" generator explodes.

It is a generator the manipulator inspired in scientists for this purpose. But the matter isn't unknown matter. Something different.
The "Safety program" activates, analyzes and sends. Everyone gets infected with a memory-virus (mental warfare was a big thing after immortality was discovered).
It prepares their souls for harvest. It weakens resistance against being harvested. It turns immunity into strong resistance.

The addition to my brain turns me into a being able to harvest the souls with 100% efficiency.

I am now a variation of a God, a Cult-leader. Any addition to my soul vanishes into the equivalent of a domesticated black hole inside of a soul, a cult.
With the wish-field, luxury field and instability-support field a link between any member of my former species is present for me to abuse.

Then comes the HARVEST of the species, that HarVester once belonged to.
HarVester is my name and I am harvesting the powerful souls of a limitless species (transforming width, depth, length and lifetime into exchangeable energy which flows inside my cult).

Human souls are some of the most powerful stuff you can get, and most every being has one. But "sapient" being's souls are special - like, the ones humans have - so they are even MORE powerful.

I use the "ruined unknown-matter generator", the remnant of the ascended flux and the catalytic souls of 10 special semi-immortal domesticated animals to do this. I need the ruined UMG to manipulate my cult's beliefs with the memory-virus. I lost the memory-virus by becoming a Cult-leader (as variant of a god, a Cult-leader existed already and draws power from his cult, which is like a domesticated singularity for exchangeable energy, which is attached to its soul). I need the remnant of the ascended flux to channel the spell (morality check was already destroyed in the past because of the "unknown matter" radiation, if it wasn't, it is now). I need the animals to evade the energy cost of crushing unlimited souls (They set the cost to zero*).

Using this method I have a 100% success rate, because the freed energy resonates with my cult (can't be absorbed by anyone else since the energy is within the event horizon).
HarVester now is enemy to anyone. He doesn't want to eat more souls because he already has devoured unlimited souls. The HarVester wants to kill anything that could oppose it.

*Their catalytic power is only useful against souls of sapient creatures. Since the memory-virus controls the minds of the people, it can control the common sense, which controls the city-law, which controls the concept of [harm] of the shield-energy field, which prevents the pure catalytic power of the 10 animals from dissolving the peoples souls, I can manipulate the the shield-field at will.

Edit: I forgot to mention that most of the body of HarVester is now within the skyscraper that is as big as a universe on the inside (it fills the skyscraper). A smaller avatar of him currently floats to the battlefield.

I delve halfway into the digital plane before gently clasping my hands and FOCUSING a godly amount of energy between them, as well as a fairly large portion of my own soul. Soon the lights of twin stars floods from my fingers, one in the physical world and one in the digital, but it is not enough. Not yet.

"Tch." The man shakes his head. "Looks like you still can't do much against these losers. Gotta admit, when I showed up I was expecting more." He shrugs and smirks. "That's right, Godmodder, I'm mostly turned because you just suck, straight up. The mind control was only a small part of it. Can't even derandomize right. Here, lemme help you."

He raises a hand to fire some kind of projectile at the enemy before something causes him to stop. He turns to the left and notes the thingy happening nearby. He sighs, and makes a note of it. Until its resolved he can't quite guess what will happen, but its definitely not good for them. A phone materializes in his hand, and he calls up his ally. "Amelia, can you head to control for a sec? Something weird is happening, someone might be trying for a power exploit, might end up being not much but I want one of the main cannons in reserve. Yeah I know that, it's deliberate. Because it's cool, damn it! You know you'll feel awesome after the sequence is done. Yeah, yeah. Attagirl. Yeah, see you soon maybe. Anyway, gotta own this Godmodder. Want that sword he has. Yeah, the one he made me get. Don't remind me." With that the phone dematerialized, and he went back to pointing at the Godmodder.

Responding to his will, the universe twisted and altered, and suddenly the Godmodder was in the dead center of a field of potent Order energy. This energy reacted with the Godmodder's randomness like matter and antimatter, mutually annihilating. Considering just how much randomness the Godmodder had, this meant that the order energy was soon completely gone, along with an equal amount of randomness. Perhaps even minuscule. However, also like matter and antimatter, this resulted in an absolutely titanic detonation, a massive explosion of neutrality (since the order and random in the explosion had canceled out) and so hence a massive explosion of raw energy. Being at the center of such a blast couldn't be healthy for anyone, including the Godmodder. If this does damage, a quick teleport in and out to grab the sword attempt would be tried.

At approximately 8:34AM, Pacific time, swn001-π-HNG (hungry visitor) did this:

OOC: Did someone say FLUX?

OOC: Say no more. I prepared something for this case.

Hopefully, this will not offer significant "in-game" bonuses, but we must be prepared for the worst.

Enclosed is a question to discover how bad the damage is:

[swn001-π-MNK (Moniker), can Void players be killed and brought to the AG side?]

This is Penelope Panagiotopolous, signing off.)

(OOÓMC: (Out Of ÓverMeta Character) I found a place to put all the Pataphysics inspiration I mentioned in my introduction post, namely here. Edit: It's apparently ÓverMeta, not Óvermeta)

I check 000003.doc and see if I find anything. If not, I copy Legendaryweaponnotes.pad to several empty hard drives and shoves them into my hammerspace.
The Spanish Inquisition steals tictactoe.hub. (you didn't kill them, so their still running around and getting into weird places they shouldn't be.)
