Defeat The Godmodder

Its true that he won't be able to attack us, the reason I am speaking up is that I prefer 'dude who is helping kill the godmodder' over 'dude who really isn't able to attack us but can still 'help' in counter-productive ways.' In other words, I feel that a player who truely wants to attack the godmodder is better than a player that can't attack us but also has a reason to dislike us.
I've retconned it, now.

The newest structure of mine continues to form slowly, partly complete and obviously some sort of crystal.

I summon 10 dwarven engineers. While basic stats are unimpressive, only 5 HP and 5 A their skill comes in repair and building, even magically having their own materials to perform these actions without needing to be resupplied occasionally.
ooc:
Do you plan to make a structure to automatically make more dwarven engineers later on?

For my second action I create a BEAM'O'WAR re-director, and super-distructo-overcharge it to make the Godmodders beam of war partly turn around and hit him in the crotch. The process also switches the beams allegiance to AG, so the godmodder can't absorb it for power. I do this standing in a place where the Godmodder can't see me.

Finally my my newest structure finishes being formed, the crystal standing tall and gleaming as it's power activates. It will passively heal all of my entities across the HEXAGONAFIELD and while the amount of healing per entity is rather low considering how much it affects it's a major boost to my forces.

I order my dwarven engineers to improve the Healing Crystal's durability to protect it from harm, aiding with whatever minor amount of power I have left after finishing the creation of the Healing Crystal.

I feed the entropy ball will more entropy, then toss it at the Godmodder again. (If either of those are decreased in power from doing 2 things in 1 action, then I prioritize throwing the entropy ball)

Edit: removed preemptive actions because the next update is on Monday.

(3 Turns for Spell)
It's up to you what these poor displaced citizens do next!

OOC: Those people were rescued from sure death! HV did the right thing.

creating safe housing/nutrient sources for hungry visitor 's people. They're going to need help, and I can provide.

OOC: HV will have to change his opinion about the other players and see them as rational and caring upon unraveling the secret benefactor.

"Holy flux* !" The mysterious energy source also has a LOT of energy and a LOT of processing power behind it (not to speak of variety, because of the different energies needed for a time portal).
Also implementing a god inside a soul is very difficult to do.

*saying simply flux instead of ascended flux is one of the worse curse words.

HV was very surprised about the city and portals appearing almost instantly.

He also ignored the deeper significance of somebody extremely powerful having control of his soul because there were more important things to do right now.
The influence of the ascended flux did not reach through the portals because the ascended flux did not allow the energy to escape into other dimensions.

This meant:
  • Famine if nothing would be done about that (long time + important)
  • No protection against lunatics beside HV (short time + important)
  • Special formed people that depended on the ascended flux to survive could not immigrate (long time + it would be racist not to do something about this)
  • The freedom of living under the ascended flux was lost (long time + some would rather die than lose their freedom + freedom is justice)
  • The luxury of living under the ascended flux was lost (long time + some people just lived under semi-eternal bliss and got addicted + nobody likes druggies)
  • Probably the negative impact of the unknown matter-generator won't come through either (??? time + important + apocalyptic)
  • other reasons (???)
HV got these points of importance after brainstorming with some old friends of his.

Since food could be imported from portals right now and luxury was not that important he decided to put up a vote:
(The ascended flux of the past scanned all their brains to ensure every opinion was respected. This also ensured that the new laws in the city were accepted.)

Protection: 1d 100= 4
Energy support: 1d 100= 30
(limited) Freedom: 1d 100= 41
Countermeasures unknown: 1d 100= 27

Seems there will be no protection:

1. Action
HV wishes for an energy field fueling the forms of unstable existence his race favored.
2. Action
HV wishes for an energy field forming around the city, that enables wishes (can't break the city-law) of his kind, that the energy field is able to support (focus more on processing power and creativity than on energy).
3. Acton
HV wishes for fields of instant research and invasive memory to surround every portal (unknown matter loses its subjective existence proportional on knowledge about it). The field sends invasive memory to anything intelligent in this universe that isn't shielded against mind-influence about unknown matter and its uncountable physical states.
HV was exhausted after enforcing the law (even though he wasn't the flux ascended flux) and went into a house, where he found a soft bed to sleep in.

He then shoots Eternalstruggle once with the LMG, and its firing Mmmaagic bullets, healing him 1 HP! He cups his hands to his mouth, then shouts, "I expect some kind of repayment for that!"
The man rolls his eyes, letting the bullets hit when he realizes they're for healing. "I would if that, you know, helped. But one HP ain't a lot. Still, I'll keep in mind that you tried your best, even if it didn't really work."

FOCUS - IMPROVED HEALING AURA

He leaps into the center of the still damaged Imperial squad and casts another green aura, this time centered on him and even more potent. The green aura is less pleasant and more burning as the unit is fully healed, wounds from the Army Men dispersing through magic and now nanomachines temporarily entering the wounds of the unit, as before both mechanical and biological. Also as before, after the healing was done the Imperial forces were fully restored, as if they had never been damaged by hostile entities.

Once that was done, the aura contracted, trails of magic and clouds of medical nanobots entering the man at the center of it all, majorly healing him. It wasn't enough to fully deal with all the wounds he'd suffered, after all he'd taken a Starcalibur to the face, but it was more than enough to restore him. Even if the entire Army Men group were to open fire on him, he would now survive comfortably thanks to this significant rejuvenation.

Heart and Soul(Crayon Copy)
(OOC: Do note that, when reading books, it's better to say specifically what you want to read, rather than just trying to read everything.)

Reaching into the collective player inventory I pull out 'Heart and Soul' (Now In Crayon!) and start reading.

This book was shorter than the others. It used a lot of flowery language to talk about the souls and what they represent and stuff. Human souls are some of the most powerful stuff you can get, and most every being has one. But "sapient" being's souls are special - like, the ones humans have - so they are even MORE powerful. The poetry wasn't very interesting, but it did mention the godmodder. The book said that godmodders can be poison to souls, and their goal in most conflicts is to make humans get so angry that they perform a "Rage quit".When they do that, their souls get really weak and vulnerable, and then a godmodder could capture the souls and use them for power! That and a lot of fancy poetry sums the book up. It also said some stuff about how every soul has a weakness that can destroy it if it's hit with the weakness, but the weaknesses are almost impossible to find except by getting really lucky!

That just leaves "On Players and Creativity". It's way longer than the other two, so much so that you'll probably have to read it one chapter at a time.

"I'm charging one money per hit point. Doesn't matter what kind of money, could be pesos, nine pieces of eight, seashells, whatever."
The figure stared blankly at this man charging for healing services, then sighed and shook his head. He reached into his jacket pocket, and flicked out one British penny from it, dated 1999, right onto the head of the 'healer'. "I could have given you some incredibly low value currency out of spite, but honestly to do that I'd have to care about you enough to screw you over and I really don't."

Looks like a change of heart doesn't include this guy stopping what he thinks are insults to everyone around him.

OOC: How big is the HEXAGONALFIELD (I want to know if HV has to worry about territory and the war while expanding a quickly growing unlimited sized city)

A swirling golden vortex manifests onto the battle field, disgorging a man who is neither tall, nor short, nor fat, nor thin. He is however, most certainly and undoubtedly covered in gleaming steel armor, so bright and reflective, the sun glancing off of practically hurts the eye.

He looks around. Takes a deep breath, and takes On Players and Creativity out the player inventory.

He holds aloft the mighty crayon tome, and smiles at the thought of some child or desperate scholar putting the words to paper. Realizing that such a precious treasure should not be left unguarded, he returns it to the player inventory.

He glances up at the horizon, and his gaze meets a familiar and splendorous sight. A steel mountain, covered in smokestacks and chimneys, left dormant by its previous inhabitants.

From his back emerges two glorious golden wings, and at the speed of thought, he fly's towards The Mountain.

OOC: I would like to join on the players side! I have also heard the term Hex thrown about quite a bit, and am curious about how movement works for this system. I would also like the mountain to be the distance that I can travel in one turn away. If we can teleport through hexes, then as far as I can teleport in one turn.

Edit: also this quest looks like a blast!
