Defeat The Godmodder 2 2: The Story of You (New Players Always Welcome, Character Sheets not required!)

I curse the Godmodder for stealing research then start working on something

1. I encrypt the superlaser research with an anti-Godmodder encryption

2. Write a A.I to hack into the fortress it has the ability to evolve itself in order to to hack better

3. I charge cp for the superlaser

OOC:the faction was EE or EREVNITIKA ERGASTIRIA

FOCUS: I upgrade the Cork's power siphoner to improve its energy collection and render it able to store the siphoned energy in a battery, to be reused at a later time. No sense in letting an entire superlaser worth of power go to waste. (Okay, the whole superlaser won't fit in the battery, but a decent amount of energy still will.)

"Mission 1 for the PGs - Destroy the Wall within the Wall. Not only is this necessary to escape should the players fail, but it'll allow for the entities that are drawn to my earlier Action to come in and attack the AG forces."

Hellmuth nods.

"Well, if I'm in firing range anyway, and you do have a point about the laser going down..." ES shrugs, although his surroundings are a distorted haze. Looks like even if you can see and hear him, his surroundings are still Arbiter-proofed.

"Let's enter with a bit of a bang!"

Richard reappears in the battlefield high in the sky, having teleported out. He has a megaphone on him and is yelling down at the players below.

"Attention all noobs, losers, and those of you that I assume are competent! Having an Entity is not a right, it is a responsibility and privilege! Those Entities not taken care of will be safely removed from the battlefield with deadly force! And no, that's not a contradiction in terms! It's time for an object lesson from me, the Master of Mayhem, the Lord of Lightning, and your END!"

Raising his free hand to the sky, ES fires with full force! A barrage of energy bolts fly up to a certain distance, hanging for a brief moment, and then beginning to fall back to the earth. However, in an act of appropriate PGness, this attack is not immediate but rather will take affect during the EotB. All the 10k HP Entities are targeted for deletion: the Holy Spirit, Yajirobe, Butterfree, Skitter, .EXE ARMY CAMP, Scrap Dragon, and Dialga. Looks like 7 CP was used, appropriately enough, one for each Entity. If these attacks hit, their targets are sure to be destroyed by the explosive bolts of pure Player power, augmented absolutely with abounding alliteration!

What's done immediately is with the other 5 CP Richard has available, which is to teleport from his position in the sky to the Ether Spring. ES isn't sure what Ether Gears are either, but what he does know is that a Godmodder can probably make good use of them, as they can most things. He cunningly stages a heist of the entire thing, and by heist I mean he physically uproots it from the ground and runs as fast as he can all the way to the Godmodder, and sets it down beside him. Probably while the Benny Hill theme was playing if we're being honest. Once there, he reverse the polarity of its neutron flow so as to switch its allegiance! Those who try to pursue will find themselves bogged down with sneakily placed landmines and invisible attack drones.

Hellmuth smiles exuberantly. "Yes. Yes! This must have been what fighting for a Godmodder was like before John Smith! Giving all the Players outnumbering you a chance to stop your power, and watching gleefully as they ignore your schemes! (Because let's be honest: From what I've seen of what the Arbiter Moniker showed of the other players, they didn't seem too competent.)"

"But direct attack is really only part of a PG's style. The other part is mind control. Or should I say 'arguments from pathos'?"

Hellmuth snaps the fingers of his left hand. A megaphone appears in midair, and he catches it with his right hand as it falls.

"Attention all incompetents, all halfway-competent people, and the very few of you AGs who I dislike my chances against! Having allies is not a right either! Especially not when they're sapient beings!"

Hellmuth tosses the megaphone into the air. He snaps the fingers of his left hand, and it vanishes.

3 Actions+6 CP: New Fear for a New Decade

He snaps again, and a pistol looking like something out of a sci-fi movie appears in his right hand. He snaps again, creating an array of 10,000 batteries that plugs itself into the pistol. "Old classic, new purpose. I call this thing the F.A.Z.E.R.: Fear-Applying Zen-Eradicating Raygun!"

He points it at the Armed Forces, and pulls the trigger. No beam of light shoots out, but the results are immediate: The Armed Forces are less unswervingly brave. More cautious. Desiring to preserve their own lives.

And just as they're reeling from the sudden mental change, Augustine Hellmuth swoops in. "Face it: You're Entities. Stick around for too long, and you're dead. And do the Anti-Godmodders really need your help? They're about to destroy the Flying Fortress; look at them! Even if they don't, I doubt the Superlaser will kill them. But you? You don't have a dedicated Player assisting you. That means that if the Arbiter wants to blow some AG force to smithereens to show the Godmodder's power, he looks at you first."

"But you can retreat. All you have to do is destroy the Wall Within The Wall, and you'll be able to escape."

"Not convinced yet? That's fine. There are plenty of arguments for my position."

((Effect: The Armed Forces now have a Fear Meter, representing their desire to not get killed. It can be modified by actions that sway the Armed Forces one way or another. If the Fear Meter drops all the way, then it disappears and they stay AG-leaning. If it rises all the way, then it disappears and they convert to Neutral, only attacking the Wall within the Wall.))

"Hoh? It seems those turncoats are acting up, and it seems they're trying to act all cool and villain like. Well, it cant be helped. Someones got to do something about it" I jump out of the Flying Fortress and begin my (safe) fall to the ground, narrowly dodging some energy bolts "Whoa! guess I should take care of this guy first." I steady my fall and glare right at the culprit. "Entities are a responsibility, that much is correct. However don't think you're lesson holds any meaning whatsoever! One cannot judge the care put into an entity by it's HP values alone! One must consider their potential and the time the creator has placed into the entity! The care that they show during its growth! To cut short the growth potential of these Entities displays your ignorance! That is your contradiction!"

Well, now that I've said my peace it's time to back up my words. Using my First and Second actions I steady my fall and flip myself to face the energy bolts. Now I doubt I can stop this attack, but I can mitigate it. I call on a great spirit animal that resides in the world above, a being far stronger than me. As i begin my summon a great pair of wings appear behind me, ready to commence their counterattack.

I call on the sky
He who watches from heaven
Aid my endeavour

That's right, I'm combating an attack powered by alliteration with my own attack powered by a (Terrible) Haiku! With the summoning Haiku completed the attack commences, the pair of wings break apart into feathers and shoot out at the energy bolts, and while they aren't able to negate the attack, they are able to remove two sevenths of damage from it. Which is enough to prevent the attacks from outright destroying the entities they will hit. "I've done what i can, it is up to the other players to heal their entities".

Before I finish up, there is one last task. I angle my fall so that land amongst the armed forces (Yes, it is possible to fall upwards) next turn and call out to them "Hang in there military bro's! Your struggles have not gone unnoticed! I'm on my way to help!"

I charge one CP
CP = 3

The thing sighs, an action repeated across the many Red Phantoms. [L-Orange] "PG's..." [L-Orange End] It grumbles, tiredly rubbing it's forehead...through it's helm. Somehow. Regardless the thing tenses, it cannot break the duel lest their safety net fall out...but...

Action One & Two!

The Entities Richard, ES, or whatever he's taken to calling himself, has targeted cannot be allowed to die. Thankfully, there's already some willing meatshields, surrounding them. The Red Phantoms, separate themselves into being different Instances of the waxy thing briefly with bursts of Player Power, but a brief moment would be all that's needed. They hurl themselves in front of the attacks, defensive stances armed with a speed that only Power can incite.

The powerful attacks eat throw sword, then armor, then flesh. And again, and again, and again. The Instanced Red Phantoms wearing down the force of the attacks with their bodies.

The thing ignores the potential existential it probably just caused itself. by the rapid self-murder, and silently expands the reach of the Red Phantoms again. Hoping that that act hasn't caused a hole in their safety blanket.

With that it resumes it's dead-lock with the barrel of a laser canon, charging Power for what's to come...

Three CP Banked

Action 1-3: I walk over to the Godmodder and I did one thing to him. I just went face to face with him... and I slowly took my index finger. I reeled it back, and I poked the Godmodder. After the reality changing action that I did, the Godmodder was so depressed that I wasted my perfectly good turn with just a poke. He wondered if I have anything other better to do with my life. and I poked him again. He gets even more depressed by my lack of creativity. Then, I took my left hand and moved it to my back. The Godmodder's hopes are returning, Finally, I may end up doing something different. Then, I poked him for the third time. His disappointment and depressive measures are off the charts. His massive disappointment and depression hurt him emotionally and physically.

OOC: Going to go back to college here on Monday. Posts my end up being less frequent.

Sidequest 2: Dreams of the Past, Post 4
I desire for the Godmodder War to end, and by having the power or ability to do so. That is what you were asking yes? As for what brings me here, I'm not really sure. I went to sleep, and ended up here.
Morpheus sighs.

Morpheus: I am... not entirely surprised.

Morpheus: But before, when I truly was the God of Dreams, I knew things like this was no coincidence. Chance meetings were never left up to chance.

Morpheus: There are no more gods, though. It is only through those crystals I was gifted and my time with the former God of Magic and Knowledge that I was able to forge a new means of mastery over Dreams.

Morpheus: And even at the height of my power, defeating any Godmodder, even one not with the prodigal might and talent of John Smith, was out of the question.

Morpheus seems dissatisfied with this answer. The dream reshapes in response, showing the scene of Morpheus's death - or rather the retconned version thanks to the Orb of Paradox. It shows Morpheus being cut from his power, his position, from reality as for a second Dreams ceased to be. It showed the mighty being falling into darkness, the great power and form dissolving as if it were sugar plunged into deep waters. All that remained was a single crystalline Heart, and even that was warped into a monstrosity of Nightmares.

Morpheus watches.

Morpheus: ...There are no more higher powers guiding us... even the greatest, the Ruler of Heaven, could not guide everything from the grave indefinitely.

Morpheus: But perhaps we can yet make the most of this.

Morpheus turns to you and hands you an item - a slip of paper - more real than Dream Excalibur. You are certain it will persist into the real world when you wake.

Morpheus: Use this upon the Godmodder. Then, when you have an opportunity after the first boss has fallen, come to find me and Gomak - yes, the former god decided to make his acronym his proper name now - come and find us. We shall explain to you what the paper did and how we plan to aid you. If something comes up and is more pressing, though, I do not mind a delay, so long as you come.

The dream begins to waver and fade. Perhaps too much time was spent here as it is.

Morpheus: And Players...

He hesitates.

Morpheus: ...take one more thing.

You are given a Strange Key. This is both more real than the dream but less real than the paper. You feel that this will stay with your soul until the time is right for its true purpose to be revealed.

Morpheus: This will aid you should you find yourself fatally wounded. I'd give you something to cheat death, but... be not afraid, as the angels say. Death is not the ending. Especially not in a Godmodding War. For better or worse.

And from here....

There is awakening.

SIDEQUEST COMPLETE!

Items lost: Dream Excalibur

Items Gained: Strange Key, Godmodder Paper?

On a side note, the vote on The Truth: Arbiter Edition, is locked! You shall read The Truth in order! Posts on them shall be made once they are completed.

Actions 1-2 I create the nega-sandwich weaponizing everything that isn't possible to make a semi-decent food and combined it on the worst two pieces of bread. This abomination will be used in the future, as the worst sandwich of the world.

And I charge the CP. (I have 3 now)

>FOCUS: This Fortress obviously isn't going to die anytime soon, so instead I'll have to kill its power. I find the Backup Power Supply, then lay into it with the Zenith.

Realizing I'm on the verge of running out of time to define my actions, I quickly charge 3 CP before I end the turn. This brings the total number to 6.

- 6 CP

After all these years of inactivity I flirt with the Godmodder harder than last time. He would never expect someone in a coma to wake up and flirt with him immediately.
+2 CP

Action 1: I sign a contract to fight for the Godmodder with the Godmodder as long as the Godmodder deals 1 damage to himself as I have a very ambitious plot involving damage copying to deal a lot of damage to the players. Information: Duration of Service: All of the year 2020! Written in a magical contract! Traitor time! Now to begin with my traitours armsage. I mean traitorous rampage. In addition, I add in an anti-time travel clause to ban myself or the Godmodder from using time travel to try and escape the magical contract between us, which is a better deal, since I am pretty good at time travel alright.

Focus X2: I summon a mirror to point it at the Godmodder as he deals damage to himself. Its important that he deals damage to himself (which is why I continue onwards even if the Godmodder doesn't damage himself). Then I cast destiny bond, targeting the Godmodder and the Godmodder in the mirror, but first I summon another mirror. This magic mirror reflects the destiny bond and the bond instead targets destiny and destiny 2. Then, with the power of destiny, I summon Ash as standard via destiny solving rules of the Pokemon universe. Ash proceeds to catch the Godmodder, but this fails because the Godmodder is not a pokemon. This is reflected by the first mirror into the mirror dimension, catching the Godmodder in the mirror, because this whole time the mirror dimension is an alternate universe where the Pokemons have to deal with the Godmodder and the Godmodder is a uber strong pokemon. The Pokemodder universe. Of course, the Godmodder resists the catch and breaks out. Then I hack into the game itself and transfer the destiny bond between the Godmodder and the Godmodder in the mirror to the Godmodder and all of the players. If the Godmodder did actually damage themself, the damage mirrors into the Mirror Dimension and all of the players in there take a ton of damage via mirror damage. But an interesting fact about mirror damage, is that Celebi went back in time with a mirror to reflect the mirror damage back through the mirror into our reality and misses. Continuing on, the mirror Godmodder throws out a rat pokemon of extreme power, known as a ratatatata, an improved form of the Ratatat, an improved form of rats. I imbue this rat with the ultimate power of destiny I claimed earlier from the destiny mirrors and destiny. It then disappears, as it is not its time yet, as the Year of the Rat hasn't actually started yet. 1/25/2020. Then I punch the Godmodder through the Factorio, which the Godmodder dodges easily, but is still hit, because Factorio isn't a valid target on the Godmodder's body for a Aimed Shot, so I hit the Factorio, which is not a part of the Godmodder that encompasses Factory games, and instead just a random game of Factorio. As my punch flies through, it finds its way to destroy a train and a mirror, originally watching the Godmodder, reflects the action because I punched a thing. Then, the second mirror's Godmodder is defeated by Ash via throwing a master ball, causing the reality to crack as the mirror explodes into multiple pieces as everyone inside the completely fake alternate universe dies, as it was only the players and the Godmodder and the rat, as the mirror universe was solely for my purposes (since any reality with anyone around to experience it effectively no longer exists, due to . Then, you might ask, where is Celebi? The Mirror shatters on the exact timing into multiple different shards, which lines up exactly to the Godmodder. The Godmodder goes to dodge, and succeeds, but a Celebi appears with a mirror which further reflects the punch at the Godmodder. The Godmodder tries to dodge again, but instead trips on a Ratatatata randomly standing around and gets punched into the face and bit. Then the Ratatatata disappears. Its destiny is only partially realized yet.

The Godmodder proceeds to pull out the Magical Contract and calls BS. I ask the Godmodder to elaborate. A player with such a contract is not allowed to do anything but fight for the Godmodder. This is true. Then I ask the Godmodder to punch in 2020! in a calculator and gets a very, very large number. Unexpected Factorial. There is a whole subreddit dedicated to it. The game isn't over. I reveal that this whole time, that he was planning to argue that a single punch shouldn't be enough. Then I show them the train that I had destroyed with my punch. The Godmodder gets to see the train because I throw the train at the Godmodder making him dodge. Then I end turn and emote.

Then with my actual action 3 I go ahead and complain about future events ahead of time. This will be left redacted for the purposes of readability in proper chronological order.

Fight Post 9
Player Responses:

(x1)I cork up the Main Cannon one last time as the cork becomes a living thing, growing branches into the Cannon itself to fully stuff it.
(x2)+2 CP
Items:Vials of Aspects, 2CP

You tell the Main Cannon, through action, to stuff it! The Cork enforces the point!

That's it! It's been fully corked! Not to mention with the damage it's sustained.... Yeah! It looks like all that's left is the cleanup!

You charge some CP as you kick back and wait for the fireworks.

FOCUS: Zaircon looks at where the Fighters are being manufactured and sees his chance. He grabs a lasso from hammerspace, hooks the roof of the fortress, and swings to the hole that revealed it.

Landing in the assembly, Zaircon pauses, looks around, then pounces.

Literally. He pounces on to a conveyor belt, and allows it to take him further into the plant.

After a couple of minutes, a loud crash is heard, and Zaircon crashes out of the wall, back to the room he was first in. It seems he has allowed the manufacture plant to build around him, making him into some sort of half Dragon-thing half Fighter Plane. Using his newfound powers, he rockets through the Assembly Plant, firing shots at anything and everything.

Flying around, he observes the damage, then decides to do one last thing. He flies at full speed, straight into the opposite wall. Zaircon crashes through, but the parts of the Fighter (somehow) are left behind, blocking the hole in the wall.

Looking over at the blocked hole, Zaircon fires a small fire ball into it. The fire hits the fuel tank of the Fighter, and it explodes, taking out the Fighter Craft Assembly with it!

ManiacMastR: 5 CP

Ka-BOOM! through the power of turning your opponent's tech against hem, you take out the Assembly! Assembly destroyed! -100,000 Hp tot he Fortress, which is little more than rubble duck taped together by wires and support structures by this point!

One might be forgiven for confusing him with the Red Skull.

There are differences, of course. His facial structure is different. He wears a camouflage jacket over the black leather. Instead of German or Hydra iconography, he wears an insignia that is a red circle surrounded by eight black rays. But otherwise, he is quite similar.

((The action titled "New fear for a new decade" will appear in another post.))

...well that's not reassuring at all.

The quiet watcher smiles at the now empty room, grateful that what he really needed wasn't taken. He uses an action to loot the actual nanite cores that even now were trying to refill the room, before walking back out and taking a left, leading him to the maintenance areas of the ship. Once inside, he wanders up to the cannon maintenance area, and loots every power capacitor and the focusing gem from the whole thing. Then he charges up one more CP.

CURRENT CP: 5

You manage to get a bunch of broken nanite cores, power capacitors, and even a focusing gem! Not a bad haul. You top yourself off with that charged CP.

<A1>
Because Sniff of metal grey small cores happen, Nose EXPA N D ! must bigger to fit, so did! Nose has hair, but hair not sharp enough. Hair become teeth. Nose now teeth. And big. Like double-mouth! Nose is very good and the muching of defence.

(((OOC: ...I wrote this action, but it got wiped, and I don't remember how I phrased it. Basically, the statue doesn't have nose-teeth or organs, but it will be red and a figurine soon because that's how all good statues are. Then, the guy makes it red.)))

[1x] The Figure has stopped. But elsewhere, in a dream, perhaps, a person goes walking down a street... in full plate armor, which of course nobody comments upon and is completely intangible. The person enters a museum. They steal a priceless ancient bone, which is of course the only way to free an esoteric race of mermaids from the control of their dead ancestor. But they somehow know the bone doesn't actually count and won't work, so they keep searching the museum and eventually come to another display, which offers one 'nether star' if one can beat some jumping puzzle, where failure costs a soul. Small potatos, they think. A Soul? whatever. So they jump along- finding the ceiling padded, and unusually close- and get the star. satisfied, they continue the quest they're doing, and receive a key to some overgrown ruins. But someone doesn't want them to go to the ruins... That day, anyway. Some kind of future sight prophecy weirdness. So they try to stall the person in full plate armor. who refuses, eventually. And aims to leave the city, towards the towering wall and superstructure that is the Ruins. So the mermaids ancestor- what, did you think that part was irrelevant?- causes a massive flood across the city and blames it on them for not listening. Also, they try to use the bone, but it's fake, so it doesn't work. On the other hand, the cutscene doesn't let them use the Star, which would. At some point, they leave the city. And at some point, the world around them grows indistinct. And at some point... They are There , in the particular dream with Morpheus. Holding a long wooden staff which curves around a sort of gemlike orb of power. wearing full plate armor made of diamonds( which of course nobody will comment upon). Also, with a floating icon on top of their head which reads "Hetuo".
The first thing they say when they arrive is this:

"𝓘𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓭𝓸𝓽𝓱 𝓪𝓵𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓭𝔂 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓱𝓮𝓷𝓭 𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓮 𝓷𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓮 𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓻𝓮, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓶𝔂𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓯 𝓲 𝓺𝓾𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓫𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓮𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓹𝓱𝓮𝓾𝓼 𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓲𝓻 𝓲𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓼𝓮 𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓸𝔀𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮𝓼 𝓫𝓸𝓽𝓱 𝓹𝓻𝓲𝓸𝓻 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓮𝓷𝓽,𝓘 𝓶𝓸𝓼𝓽 𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓵𝔂 𝓻𝓮𝓺𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓸𝓷𝓵𝔂 𝓸𝓫𝓵𝓲𝓺𝓾𝓮 𝓻𝓮𝓯𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓫𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓭𝓮 𝓾𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓼𝓪𝓲𝓭 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓼, 𝓪𝓼 𝓘 𝓭𝓸 𝓷𝓸𝓽 𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓵𝔂 𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓲𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓫𝓮 𝓭𝓮𝓽𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓮𝓭."

The Godmodder, now thoroughly terrified of the Nose of the Damned you're sporting, decides to be heroic for once and annihilates it with the Nose Be Gone Superlaser at the cost of a Godmodder Action. But we both know, with no small amount of horror, that this won't be the end of this nightmare.

This thing put another CP into the ...

...

If that thing is summoning some literally damned thing I'm going to lose my mind. The statue now has another CP in it and it's now red.

...Looks like. Um.

How is this working?

Will they only be partway shoved into a sidequest?

How is this arrangement happening?

...

Hm. There's a connection.

So.

Let's just...

I guess we'll just have Morpheus respond and record it here?

Seems weird, but it works for me.

As the statue talks to Morphues, Dragon of Hope finally begins to wake up! They don't do anything this turn, though, since they're confused by not being able to hear anything.

Morpheus: ...I believe you're... Ah.

Morpheus: I have been... busy. And well. As I said to Dragon of Hope, it was only through the crystals and Gomak's assistance that I've regained even this much, and even then it amounts to little more than dominion over one on one dream interactions.

The former god snorts forlornly.

Morpheus: A player once created a winged, talking horse with as much capability! Still, such is the result of my own folly, so my right to complain isn't that great, despite John's own role in the loss.

Morpheus: Still... it's nice to talk to you once more, if for old times sake.

Morpheus: But I'm afraid I don't have much time for more pleasantries - I need to discuss something with Gomak. But if you have any business you wish to bring up, I'd be more than willing to hear you out, as the saying goes.

I grit my teeth as the Godmodder steals the superlaser research. I was using that for the counterattack...

With my current abilities, I don't think I'll be able to buff the research station in time for the cannon attack.

But that doesn't mean I can't help the others...

I spend 2 Actions to buff Dialga's Roar of Time ability, and the last one to buff the Scrap Dragon. While I really wanted to spend two points on the Scrap Dragon, lord knows what might crop up during the next round. The quicker Dialga can put the freeze on the laser, the faster all of us can buff up.

Meanwhile, what doesn't get trashed in the remaining areas—especially the Assembly room—gets enthusiastically eaten, the Dragon nomming metal coverings and half-finished fighters with gusto.

CP: 0

You buff Dialga's Roar of Time ability! It now fires in two turns and, as such, will stall the cannon's fire for one turn this turn!

You make the Scrap Dragon buffer, beefing its attack by 1 CP! Which it will use to eat more. Typical.

[I've decided to Re-create my character]

Spa awoke, only to be met with himself on the ground...realizing his predicament, he slowly laid on up.

He remembered what had previously happened, he was apparently supposed to defeat this person named "God-Madder." Whatever that meant..

Oh! He just remembered he also had points he could do anything with, he was kinda skeptical so he decided to at least try...

He thought of something, oh! He knew something! With one finger raised signaling his want to use 1 Point. He imagined An Unexaustable Lemonade Drink.

For the other points, he decided to save them. He just wanted to see if it would work anyways.

He wondered what might it take to defeat the God-Madder, maybe water? He heard it was a robot, robots get fried in water...unless their waterproof.

...the God-Madder might be waterproof...

[Charge Points - 2]

????

What.

...

You make an Unexaustable Lemonade Drink! It's refreshing, but it doesn't quite live up to its name - if it's used for any mechanical benefit it'll run out after the Action has run its course. Otherwise you'll have an eternal supply of lemonade to sip from!

...Slurp....

Action 1:
"Happy New Year!"

I walk up to the backup power supply and decide to host my New Years celebration there. I kick things off by throwing down some multicolored flares to light up the room. Some sparks land on some important parts of the power supply and start a colorful electrical fire. Then, I shoot off some fireworks while still indoors. It goes about as well as you'd expect, with several explosions ravaging the power supply. I cap off my celebration by absorbing all the fireworks and flares, using them to fire off a rainbow beam into the power supply.

Action 2:
Victor infiltrates the fighter craft assembly. With my bombastic celebration going on, any members of the fortress' crew are either not present or too distracted to notice him. He starts to tamper with the machinery by simply unplugging everything he can find. Once that's done, he tosses a few bricks of C4 into anything that looks important, detonating them with a shot from his rifle. Finally, he bashes anything still intact with the butt of his rifle.

Action 3:
I store 1 CP.

CP: 6

You and victor deal some festive New Years Celebrations! Which is strange since chronologically speaking it's not New Years but you get the bonus anyway somehow. Since the Assembly was already wrecked, Victor decides to help you party harder! You're both hammered by now, but you've dealt 30,000 damage to the backup power supply!

A devastating delayed attack is unleashed! If this hits, it'll cripple the AG forces in one fell swoop!

The Ether Spring is swiped with 5 CP! Which is as many as 5 Actions, which is awful!

Along with 7 CP, the rest of my actions are used up. Suddenly, right next to me( wherever I am), appears an obelisk. Green and made with a dark metal, it shoots a beacon of light that calls for reinforcements every 2 turns. ( 10 CP used, can call upon 3 necron warriors) a slot is on the side, to allow consumption of Resources to increase quality of troops (3 resources =2 cp)

edit: revised the summoning, and resource conversion

7 of 10 CP and 3 actions burned to create the Necron Obelisk! It glows sinisterly! 3 powerful Necron Warriors shall be summoned each turn, with resources able to add to the total CP the Obelisk can bring to bear!

3 ACTION FOCUS - BUILD UP CAMP: I spend a bit of time building up the EXE. Army Camp, allowing it to produce more EXE Knights a bit quicker.

Ultimo Durana CP: 6

If the Camp survives, it'll be 3 CP away from being able to summon an EXE KNight every turn!

I curse the Godmodder for stealing research then start working on something

1. I encrypt the superlaser research with an anti-Godmodder encryption

2. Write a A.I to hack into the fortress it has the ability to evolve itself in order to to hack better

3. I charge cp for the superlaser

OOC:the faction was EE or EREVNITIKA ERGASTIRIA

....um.

Uh.

You can be Neutral. Further factioning is not really within the bounds of Player powers.

Though nothing is stopping you from slapping the label onto your forces as an unofficial faction. Unofficial things never stopped being a thing! Faction changed to Neutral!

Also, I figured out what the deal is with your Cyborg Body! It's functioning as an Attack shield! It'll be listed as such and you'll be protected from one attack by it!

You add a CP woth of research to the Superlaser and another regular CP to it! You then attackt he Fortress A.I. with a self evolving A.I.! It valiantly completes its mission, but it loses its life as it comes to mathmatically realize that such a fate is a virtue!

But Danny Boy.exe did his job! The A.I. Systems are destroyed and the fortress takes another 100,000 damage. Now go on Danny Boy.exe. The Synths... the synths are a calling...

If the laser fires, the cork will store about 100,000 damage worth of laser power! I have a feeling, though, that this won't last long enough to do so...

Hellmuth nods.

The Armed Forces, despite being battle hardened troops, are rightfully filled with fear! They know the horror stories from the previous Godmodding wars! They're stunned with indecision!

Players! There's now a Fear Meter you need to fight down! Fight it down to keep them on the AG side... or fill it up to drive them into attacking the Wall within the Wall!

CP = 3

The Military bros are startled! Your words mean nothing when you just freaking fell from the sky outta nowehre like that!

But the TerribleHaiku does its best to negate damage across the launched attack... and it succeeds slightly better than expected! All entities will only take 7,000 damage apiece from ES's attack!

The Red Phantoms are thrown at the rest of the attack with 2 additional actions to reinforce it! And... it holds! It is greatly weakened, though, and half its previous effectiveness! However, with the cork in place, the shield's power should be far more than sufficient, if not superfluous!

I continue to charge. The day is fast approaching.

Charge Pool 1: 4CP
Charge Pool 2: 8CP

"...you. you wasted an entire focus action to damage me. You only needed one to do a shenanigan- I..." The Godmodder slumps a little. "Great me, it's like facing the idiots of the past."

The thought of facing them again depresses the Godmodder and actually depresses him enough to take a damage!

Actions 1-2 I create the nega-sandwich weaponizing everything that isn't possible to make a semi-decent food and combined it on the worst two pieces of bread. This abomination will be used in the future, as the worst sandwich of the world.

And I charge the CP. (I have 3 now)

You create the WORST SANDWICH EVER! Good god, the Nega-Sandwich! Blleeuuuggghhhh!

You also charge a CP. Thanks for keeping track of them!

>FOCUS: This Fortress obviously isn't going to die anytime soon, so instead I'll have to kill its power. I find the Backup Power Supply, then lay into it with the Zenith.

You lay into the Backup Power Supply!

!!!!

With that, all 10Sections of the Fortress have fallen! LETHAL DAMAGE INFLICTED!

The destruction of the Fortress will occur in the EoTB!

+2 CP

"No."

OH GOD THAT REJECTION! It's nearly enough to fall back into a coma from the decisive declination!

At least you charged those 2 CP.

MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW.

...oh gosh my head hurts and I don't have any organs or nerves to simulate pain with.

The Godmodder caught onto the trick when he read that that year was written with an exclamation point! Since the contract doesn't kick in until he willingly deals 1 point of damage to himself BUT RedRover already signed, he decides to save a copy of the contract in his personal, player proof storage! Player proof storage? Absurd! ...he doesn't care enough to respond- okay.

"Since 'Action 3' is simply complaining about future events under the redaction of MEOWs, it doesn't count as an actual Action, and therefore the Focus Action is an actual Focus-"

You took damage from a Focused triple poke.

"...fuck. Alright, time to cheese this the 'legit' way."

The Godmodder you attack is suddenly revealed to be nothing more than a mist of ash particles that came from a burning pile of paper with the smug 'UMAD' meme written on it! When all is said and done, the entire attck looks like it goes through, but when the Godmodder steps back onto the field unscathed, it was all revealed to be...

Smoke and Mirrors.

===================================================================================================================

End of Turn Battle (EoTB):

We interrupt your regularly scheduled EoTB to bring you Flying Fortress's Destruction Cutscene!

-----------------------------------

Cutscene:

Stripped of any an all elements to keep the monstrosity together, the remains of the great Fortress begin to collapse. The remaining Nanites, rapidly wearing themselves out, willingly flip orders and break the now plummetting fortress even further into smaller pieces. The Entities this turn all gear up to smash the wreackage to pieces... only for the Red Phantoms to fly up on their own to protect them! Before, the laser or even the whole fortress would have been alone to overwhelm the Champion Shield. But as it is now?

The Red Phantoms easy return the structure into its component energies. Their purpose fulfilled, they return to their creator, job well done.

PERFECT VICTORY!

The first obstacle of the Godmodding War has been overcome!

-----------------------------------

EoTB Part 2:

The Godmodder claps slowly.

"Ah yes, multiple turns to dismantle a large superfortress, and you beat the timer. Even your Dialga wasn't necessary in the end, you were so efficient." His voice turns wickedly gleeful. "I admire your talent. Seeing the light of hope die in your eyes shall be satisfying. But, as they say... Business before pleasure."

With a twist, a tear in spacetime opens up. And out of the portal comes...

A dreaded Fear Sorcerer, known as the master of terror throughout all of the Planes that make up Reality! Having obtained the Rank of Monger, it knows every method known to man to inspire dread and witless panic in its victims - Jumpscares, Gaslighting, Actually good horror media, brainwashing magic, and 24/7 Sensationalized News Reports from all sides of the aisle!

With so many means at his disposal to frighten victims, it gets 3 'Scare' Actions a turn! Each one will either boost the Fear Gauge by 10 % for the Armed Forces, or it will stun an Entity for 1 Turn!

However... all of the AG Entities are still alive and kicking! They proceed to be proactive and gang up on the Fear Mage (Save for the Zergling Spawner, which celebrates finally having spawned a Zergling! It's so proud)! The Butterfree lands on his eyeballs, Yajirobe actually gets some fierce cuts in, the Scrap Dragon eats his belt buckle, The Holy Spirit makes Skitter's Bugs more holy terrors by boosting them to 1,000 ATK, and Dialga does a Roar of Time, only doing 5,000 Damage due to the Fear Monger having no timers to stop!

The Fear Monger, irritated at taking all of this damage, uses one Scare on Dialga, given its high attack, to stun it! However, it does a quick mental calculation and then uses its two other scares to add 20% more Fear to the Armed forces! If nothing is done, it can convert the Armed Forces to True Neutrality all on its own next turn!

...And then it blanches as it realizes that the Fortress Fighters not only survived the destruction of the Flying Fortress, but are still AG-Leaning and thus target it with priority precision, dealing another 105,00 more damage! It is only surviving by 10,250 HP!

Up next is the Neutrals! The newly Flipped Plasma Cannon Factory upticks its various bits and bobs, including the Superlaser! It has nothing to counter, but a Superlaser like this could still be devastating and almost guaranteed to oneshot anything short of a Boss this early on in the Godmodding War! The Tyranids nibble on some more foliage and some unfortunate insects! And Robocop, still on orders to destroy anything Fortress related, takes out one Fortress fighter and damages another while its Hydra Cannon loads up some more!

And finally, another thunderous crash against the Wall within the Wall causes it to lose 150,000 HP! The enemies outside just continue to grow...

The Godmoder, still so awesome that he has a bit of Action left over from the summoning, uses the portal to portal himself into the Ether Gear Spring stolen for him by Richard!

"Ahh.... Ether Springs... I know a few uses for one of its gears... Don't mind me, I think I'll stay in this pool."

He'll get an Ether Gear in 4 more turns if he's allowed to stay in the pool! Who knows what the monster can do with it!

------------------------------------------------------

System Update:

Alright! I finally sifted through the data for the Player powers! Holy toledo they've shifted quite a bit! I'll put more technical details in The Truth about Players, but for here...

For one thing, outside of certain special items, they function somewhat differently from how they used to. They're effectively a means of storing CP up. However, they do have an advantage - if you use them for any amount of their CP, they allow you to basically 'gamble' your Creativity bonus. If you succeed in being creative with the item, you get the full X3 Creativity bonus with your Action, Item CP expended included! However, if you fail to be sufficiently creative, then you do not get any partial bonuses - you'll just get the base CP value, bar none. Thankfully, you can spend as much or as little of the CP you put into the item as you like. Shenanigans using them doesn't actually count as using them due to not expending CP from them and, thus, just count as cool flavortext.

Attack shields still exist, and they cost 1 Action like they did in the last war. Any comments to the contrary is anti-eastasia propoganda! (Or, you know, and error on my part. Apologies.) They can be used on Entities and Players alike. However, those 'Regen Shields' can't be used on Players since now, if they take damage, they'll drop by 1 full Wound score regardless from the attack.

Entity Immunity is also now alignment based! If a side doesn't have 3 Entities, they're vulnerable to direct shenanigans and attacks from the enemy team! Due to how pure neutrals work, each pure neutral counts as their own self contained alignment and as such will need 3 entities under their control to receive the entity immunity. But since they don't so much as lean to one side or the other, they shouldn't be targeted by anyone anyway save the freak instance of a Hostile Entity.

But now we get to the real crux. The PvP that is now based on alignment rather than the old Neutraladder.

First off, CP and, as a result of items being like CP but flavored, are off limits when it comes to direct confrontations. This only counts for Free CP/standalone items, not projects like the Superlaser. It seems that messing with other Player's CP stores is still off limits, thankfully.

Second but related, CP projects, such as someone charging a Spirit Bomb with the rest of the team pitching in their energy, can be countered by throwing down your own CP project, such as a counter spirit bomb or by making something that will disrupt the technique or just distracting the charger a set CP amount of times. Basically, CP Project Counters must be equal to the CP of the opposing project. The Godmodder's CP will help beef up PG or even PG-Leaning Neutrals if he finds their counter worthy, and its unfixed nature will make the results always tense and difficult to tell how much the enemy will be away from succeeding in their goals...

Third, there is a measure known as Reactive countering. Reactive countering an enemy's Action, such as the earlier attempts to stop the mass AG entity destruction, depends on if it's a shenanigan or CP based. If it's CP based, then responding with equal or greater CP is sufficient, but the side that has less people involved will get a 'little guy' bonus. This is a result of the possibility that one side may simply have less CP to throw around, and the Player Power trying to even the odds through a 'little guy' multiplier. If it's a shenanigan, then there's no counters, but shenanigans are capable of failing on their own and outright anyway, making it a 'risky' means of trying to attack or mess with the opponent.

Fourth, since there's A)Entitiey Immunity, B) Attack shields and C) Reactive counters, Direct attacks can go through, but only one successful attack per target is allowed. Direct Attacks can be countered, however, up to until the next time the person being attacked posts - usually next turn, but maybe longer in an extended absence.

These rules will be added to the main rules list soon enough.

The quiet watcher hands the Godmodder a small slip of paper. It is a Writ of Posession on the Ether spring he's been bathing in, dated for two hours earlier and signed by... The legal owner of the spring, who the Godmodder wasn't due to it being stolen. As per the Writ, the quiet watcher takes the entirety of the springwater, or springEther in this case, as per the national legal code 113.45.3, subsection E. The Godmodder is now sitting in a dry pool with no effects beyond feeling nice to sit in, and the Quiet watcher has the entire pool's worth of Ether in his storage, bottled up nicely for later use.

The Godmodder, feeling mildly annoyed, attempted to argue against the Writ, Leaving him embroiled in a legal court case that took one of his actions before it became apparent to everyone that the whole case wasn't going to ever be settled in his favor. He barely managed to settle for 20$, a standard spring with no unusual or abnormal effects or materials, and an agreement for Judge Judy to never get involved in a case involving him again.

The quiet watcher charged up another CP during the whole case, so he didn't mind paying the 20$.

CURRENT CP: 6

3 Actions:

Hellmuth continues his use of pathos (and also logos) against the fearful Armed Forces. "See? The AGs destroyed the Flying Fortress! They didn't need your help to do that! And they don't need your help now! They'll kill the Fear Monger Sorcerer and smash the Necron Obelisk this turn unless the Godmodder pulls a hundred thousand hitpoints of blocking out of his sleeve. And even if he does, if he thinks you're going to attack then he'll just pull two hundred thousand hitpoints out of his sleeve instead. You won't be able to help the AG situation this coming turn even if you want to."

"And let's also talk about the PG forces outside the Wall within the Wall. They had 50K attack three turns ago, 100K attack two turns ago, and 150K attack this last turn. This coming turn, if the pattern holds, they'll have 200K attack. That's enough to kill every single one of you in just one turn. If you wait for the three more turns it'll take them to destroy the Wall within the Wall unaided, they'll have 300K attack if the pattern holds. That's enough to kill all of you and half the Fortress Fighters in one turn. With that amount of damage output, the AGs will lose almost all of their entities. But if you attack the Wall within the Wall, then it might be destroyed in only two turns. The faster you destroy the Wall within the Wall, the faster the AGs can start fighting the PG forces, the less of a disadvantage the AGs'll have, and the quicker you can get out of this war."

"Makes sense, doesn't it?"

(x1)Paradox calls in some excellent Lawyers for the Legal Case on the Ether Spring, including a protégée of a protégée of some Phoenix Wright. He also makes sure that the Judge for the case is not being bribed or "persuaded" by the Godmodder to favour him. Also the jury, Paradox makes sure that they aren't Godmodder Constructs/paid by him/influenced by the Godmodder what so ever. This will be a Fair Trial.

(x1)Paradox destroys the Fear Monger Sorcerer, by summoning up the League of Teddy Bears and other stuffed toys. Their Charge and Duty, as described by their Power and the Old Spirit;Whimsy, is to stand guard against Nightmares and defend the Innocent, as the Fear Monger sorcerer knows only how to cast Fear, he's helpless against their Crack Strike Team.

(x1)Time for some Charge flavoured Tea...slurp.+1 CP

I grant two attack shields to the obelisk. It becomes even more ominous......ly protected (2 actions)
