Defeat The Godmodder 2 2: The Story of You (New Players Always Welcome, Character Sheets not required!)

The Charge continues, unabated. Still, I've got to think hard about this. Just what is the value of a CP, exactly? Would it be better to prioritize strength over all else, eschewing any special effects? Would a themed ability be a better investment than some extra health and attack? Would investing in protection against Alignment switching be useful? The God-Modder has already tried that twice now, first with the Fearmancer and now with the spray paint, so maybe the Curse of Repetitiveness would be enough defense? Ah, well, I suppose this first one was meant to be a test anyway.

Charge Pool 1: 4CP
Charge Pool 2: 14CP

One meta layer above the actual Godmodder fight Algot jots the aegis tablet down in his inventory for this part of the bifurcated tabletop RPG. (basicaly, the aegis tablet should be listed, it is not for some reason) aditionaly, he takes the time to point out the members of the armed forces are separate people, meaning it would Cannonicaly make more sense for them to have individual fear meters. this may or may not cost an action based on [Alastair Dragovich] (if your "real" name (as in, The name of the player playing Alastair (the Godmodder fighting character referd to as a Player), and the "other" Arbiter) is something else let me know so I can use said name) s judgement. If it does not the cloaked man writes the word spirit and tosses it at the spirit bomb(this meta layer above is just flavour, and everyone theoreticaly has a character there, if you do not, your character is just an npc from that worlds perspective I guess)

for ease of posting and reading I have craeted some terminology for this.
  • Tagging someone (exampel: JOEbobobob) means you are talking about the actual person using the account.
  • Putting someones username in square brackets (exampel: [Alastair Dragovich]) means you are talking about or to their character on this plane
  • Just using someones username (exampel: EternalStruggle) means you are talking to or about their character that is part of the actual war
  • Specificaly describing a character that exist on a specific level means you are interacting with that character on that meta level
  • Capitalizing a real world term that has a specific in game meaning means that you are talking about the in game thing and not doing so means you are just using the real world term (Exampel: a Godmodder is a being that has been granted Godmodding power, but a godmodder is someone who plays an unfair character.
  • If a character is talking they are, unless otherwise specified, not reffering to anything on a meta layer above the one they exist on.
  • This and The Other part of the bifurcated tabletop RPG are the same or other forum game in the pair of "defeat the godmodder 2 2 the story of you" and "destroy the godmodder alchemiquest" relative to wichever game you are posting in respectiveley.
The cloaked mystery man walks up to the Armed Forces Troops an begins speaking. Why are you so afraid? there IS no reason to be, I mean, you are people, wich means that if you chose to fight the godmodder whole hartedly you will gain player powers. And those powers will most likeley help you survive.

After that he Stasises the barrier maiden

Action one, make the members of the Armed forces have individual fear Meters. or, if that is a free action, give a charge to the spirit bomb.
Free action, explain the terminology that at least I (and hopefully anyone else who joins in) will use for the higher meta level that is (curently but perhaps not in the future) purely flavour and free of mechanical impcat.
Action 2. Give a motivational speech to the group that consists of the armed forces, innspiering them to overcome their fear.
Action 3. make the barrier maiden be temporarily unable to do stuff and cause all the damage that would be dealt to it if it wasn't for theregen shield to be qued up and dealt all at once when the effect wears of.

You wanted to facepalm yourself that HAM!guy is right, war no waits and much less this, YOUR SANDWITCHES are in danger! You decided to pause your secret project and give your energy towards the Genkidama! (CP-0)

1. Me and my magicians use time reversal magic to see if we can build it back into working condition faster. (Focus Action X3)

Action 1:
"You can't be afraid on the battlefield. That's how we get XCOM-style panic chains that lead to disaster!"

I try to reduce the armed forces' fear by playing some inspiring music. Specifically, Unbreakable by Sabaton. Once the second half of the song hits, they remember that they are unbreakable war machines. I follow that up with Fire Blood and Steel by Brothers of Metal, which restores their will to fight even further.

Actions 2 and 3:
I store 2 CP, and start getting ready for a new project.

CP: 9

Ultimo Durana CP: 0

3 ACTION FOCUS - THE MARCH: I insert 3 CP into the camp for Knight Creation!

Hellmuth's eye twitches. "You know what? Fine. Do what you want with them. Mind-control them with your twisted logic, I don't care anymore. I'll enjoy the looks on your faces when your little attempt to 'save' the Armed Forces ends up killing them instead. And next time, I will make it very clear that I am trying to save lives."

ES blinks behind the Barrier Maiden and starts pumping her full of short term healing juice. Juice here being more of a metaphor for nano-scale medichines than an actual kind of juice, naturally, but you get the point. Quickly, the tiny robots get to work closing bleeding cuts and dark bruises, leaving her almost intact once again. She may have a regen shield coming, but it needs to survive long enough to fire it off first! This takes one action, with the other two spent charging.

Charge +2 = CP: 4

"If they get intimidated into siding with the godmodder, they'll definitely die at the hands of the AGs. Even if they die fighting the godmodder, at least they'll be serving a just cause instead of helping him terrorize people. Ever heard of death before dishonor?"

Hellmuth laughs. "Since when did I say anything about them siding with the Godmodder? All I want is for them to break down the Wall within the Wall so that they have a chance to escape if they want to. And while we're on the subject, I'd like to point out that the build-up of the PG monsters outside is a bad thing for you. You ought to want the Wall within the Wall destroyed so that you can start fighting the Godmodder's forces."

"I see your point, but I still think it's best to keep the armed forces on the AG side. It would be best if we could just chip a little of the Wall away so the godmodder's forces just trickle in, rather than have the whole wall come down at once and open the floodgates.

"I'm just a little worried that if fear gets a hold of them, they might end up falling in with the godmodder because he'll promise them protection or something."

The quiet watcher steps away from the main fight against the Godmodder (for now) and stands on top of the Wall within the wall. He observes the things on the other side before he pulls out a machine gun that looked as though it should have been bolted on a tank, and opens up on the things on the other side with all of his actions as though he was Rambo. In the true spirit of action movies, things died, exploded, and screamed of their demise as the gun continued firing into whatever was on the other side. He does call for some reinforcements from the armed forces to deal with this issue, if possible.

Dang it... with how I've been straining on the battlefield, I've been easily spreading myself thin.

The plans I have will require a lot more mana than what I have now...

So I simply sit back and start to meditate, drawing in power from the area around me. (+3 CP)

CP: 3

Oh, whoops! It appears that I overslept! Fortunately Robocop is still alive and kicking despite my negligence.

Anyway...let's get the Entity work back on track!

First, an attack shield placed upon Robocop. Now in bubblegum! (x1)

Next, time to augment Robocop's base firepower. Magic really is great even if a bit odd on an otherwise technological entity but, well, flaming bullets are too good to pass up. (x1)

That damage from the Cobra Assault Cannon is good but...it could be even better. Add a sheath of plasma to its rounds and suddenly even more pain shall be inflicted by anyone shot by this Special. (x1)

Entity wise...hmm...ah, yes. Robocop, would you kindly try your hand at digging a foxhole. You know, for emergencies.

Oh damn, I was too busy listening to that concert I ignored the armed forces debate. Oh well, At least my frog was listening, he's a great listener. Though I think I will explain my reasoning for lowering their fear, it's actually rather simple. Basically excessive fear is not a good thing so I'm trying to get rid of it. Especially since that fear does not lead to rational decisions.

Anyway I use my first and second actions to bring in a very special guest. Its the Armed Forces old Instructor! and he is rather miffed that the Armed Forces have forgotten some of their training and no, he doesn't care that it was because of some sort of mind control. So he gets to work in providing some emergency lessons right in the middle of the battlefield, helping the soldiers to cope with their fear and regain their previous abilities.

It will wake up when it damn well wants to
+ 1 CP

TRG 22 CP

1 Action: TRG enhances his ages-long memory (and does a certain amount of internet searching and scrying) along one line: Best candidate for God of Fish.

Action 1-3: I go and change the name of " Fear Monger Sorcerer " to "Un-fear Monger Sorcerer". his identity has changed so fast that he has an existential crisis. He cries out, making him take emotional damage.

>FOCUS: Dusting myself off, I lay eyes on the Barrier Maiden and decide to focus on fighting it. To that end, I activate Mag's second ability, Magnetize, which creates a magnetic field around a target (The Barrier Maiden in this case), ensnaring nearby enemies and dealing damage over time. The damage dealt can be increased by firing into the field; with sufficient firepower, such as from my Zenith, this can effectively turn Magnetize into a person-sized cheese-grater, with copious bullets doing the grating.

TL;DR, I put a magnetic field around the Barrier Maiden, shoot a clip from Zenith into the field, and watch as the Maiden is shredded apart by it.

It cracks it's [neck?], a sound like dried pasta violently whipping against water cueing the action's success. It might have to fire off this spirit bomb project next round, much sooner than it had hoped, thankfully the actions of other Players might delay that, for now though...

Actions One Through Three!

More electricity crackles down it's arm, the ball of energy growing in size with every CP it and others have pumped into it. And it pumps a veritableFocus Action into it!...which is still just three CP but it's the thought that counts!

+3 CP to Spirit Bomb project

I calmly start creating another Swarm of Tyranid Rippers, little slivers of flesh on my back welling up with bones, fluids, tissue and organs before they detached from me with audible 'pops!'

They landed onto through ground, before they squirmed around as limbs, eyes, teeth and ando carapace formed on them, taking on maggot like shapes before they slithered after their siblings to go look for something to eat.

______
I FOCUS to create another Tyranid Ripper Swarm.

...... I start charging...... +3 CP

note: I hate you Torix

Torix - Noted.

FOCUS - Barrier the Barrierer:
I look at the Barrier Maiden and realize that there's only one possible way to deal with this (not really, but still.) As such, I give myself the temporary Epithet of BARRIER! As such, I realize that BARRIER is not simply a physical block, but can also be a mental one as well, so I use the Epithet within the mind to create a Barrier within the mind of the Barrier Maiden and bar her from the mental capability of creating Barriers... making her simply the Maiden!

CP Total - 5
