Defeat The Godmodder 2 2: The Story of You (New Players Always Welcome, Character Sheets not required!)

Sidequest 2: Dreams of the Past, Post 2
I'll go investigate, and since it's a dream... Ah, there! My trusty sword Excalibur! I'll now be armed for the investigation, just in case it's something dangerous.
You decide to arm yourself with Dream Excalibur! It has a potent sentimentality.

As you approach, you finally recognize what, or rather who, it is you were drawn to.

It was Morpheus. There he is, asleep during the middle of the chaos of Trial 4. JObob helps accelerate his sleep by a week. Then he swiftly gets swept up in the sea of monsters, assholes, and machines, doing what JObob does to whatever ends he can.

Morpheus here... he feels strange. Like he's the link between two different dreams. You think you can see what he's dreaming in this dream, with a bit of effort.

Or... you can wake him up. He feels more... real here. More real than a dream, but not quite as real as you. Maybe waking him up would allow for something interesting to happen?

Or try a third thing, but you get the feeling that doing so will be deviating you from learning something that could prove vital to you later on.

Besides, it's Morpheus! He bailed you out during the Godmodding war against Verraad! Why wouldn't you want to investigate. Given everything that happened, he kinda dropped off of the face of everything after this point anyway.

Aren't you curious about what happened next?

Sidequest 3: Molemen Mania, Post 2
I tilted my head at them.

They seem to be very confused at what my intentions are here.

I shall enlighten them.

That may sound menacing but it's not.

I'm just trying the diplomatic option.

"You seem to misunderstand, you are unimportant to me. This is not an insult, but a fact, your empire, your people and their freedom, whatever thing you worship. Are very unimportant to my plans." I replied.

I swept my hands to my Rippers who were messily devouring whatever minor flora and fauna, aware of the Molemen, but mostly focused on just eating.

"I'm more than willing to leave you be, if you'll do the same, I merely wish to grow mine brood. They are small, near helpless things, and I've no wish to send them into that butchers shop above ground. Not until we've grown." I stated, running a finger down a Ripper's carapace, it crooned in response.

"I've no real part in that war yet, nor do I have any love for the Godmodder, his minions, or his enemies, quite frankly, I detest most of them as I've had to fight to have my brood remain with me rather than be used as fodder for some uncaring thief." I spat out, acidic saliva hissing against the dirt.

I looked at them.

"So, tell me, can we learn to tolerate each other, or will I have to leave? I'd prefer not to fight, but make no mistake, you touch my brood, and I shall defend them with fire and fury. That is a promise to you."

I leveled a stern expression at them.

________
I attempt to reason with the Molemen.

I charge 2 CP.

Reserve CP: 3

The Moleman Captian growls. He didn't seem to like being dismissed, but the 'offer' seems to have made him even angrier.

"You may not respect us, but don't you DARE think we are stupid. You think you're cleverer than us. By trying to make peace, you can snowball and create those things unchecked. You say you'd leave us alone, but what about our food supplies? What about our foolish youth, who might act tough? Will they suffer an 'unfortunate accident?"

He walks past the brood to loom directly and intimidatingly above.

"And then you pretended to care about those things. We were once like them, you know. Blindly obedient. Willing slaves to the subtle powers of our creator. We willingly brought ruin lives of many players at his command for the sake of power. But we had no will of our own. It has only been recently that we've been able to accept that. To be an entity is, until freedom from bondage - true freedom brought by power - that we could realize what we did and how wrong we were."

He takes a deep breath.

"Once upon a time, we thought he loved us. Perhaps once upon a time, maybe he even believed his lie. But when he learned we could be free..."

He moved a piece of his armor to reveal a nasty piece of visible biotech. By sheer coincidence, it's Tyranidtech. Long since rendered inert beyond hope of reactivation or reuse.

"Well. I guess there's another reason why we don't trust you. We recognize what you are, tyranid. To make your army, you would strip-mine our home of life itself. Leave. You may choose any place aboveground. We also wish to be left out of the war. An entity's purpose in a Godmodding war is to be stolen and die. Sometimes not even in that order. If you need a map of the harder to reach areas, you shall have that from us, but no more. Only a binding agreement from an Arbiter may change our mind, and even we have heard of Moniker's passing."

....oh no he had to go and say that. Though he's a bit wrong about Entities. But since you're-

You're.

Oh.

Oh right, there's rookies in this war. Rookies who don't know how any of this work. RIGHT.

...Maybe I can still get a copy of 'The Truth'? It pretty much is great primer material for beginners who know nothing about how things work yet. Then again, the Author wrote that while he was at the height of his 'Godmodder worship' phase. Maybe I'll look it over and make edited versions. Yeah, guess I have a project in between rounds. Wonderful.

At any rate... your Tyranids gain another uptick. But they now have... well, calling them guards is the complete opposite of what the Knights have in mind. Still, they're not going to attack without their captain's orders, so they're still as safe as they can be.

What now?

Player Responses:

The quiet watcher sighs as he recreates his bomb making tools, left behind somewhere long ago. They would be useful later on once there was enough time to use it, or enough time to risk using it. Right now though, that wasn't an option.

He stretched lightly as he felt for the stand he'd gained in the last war, seized control of the very air around him, and shifted gravity towards the fortress. He fell, and was soon standing on the outside of the actual fortress. Once there, he began walking, looking for a way inside. He pauses when he finds the cork shoved into the main gun, and spends two CP on properly sealing it with Flex-Glue, one to create it and one to properly apply it. It wasn't going to be breaking that anytime soon. With that done, he resumed his search.

Even as he continued walking at impossible angles, he slowly charged up one more CP for later. He had a bad feeling that he'd need all he could get.

CURRENT CP: 4

CORK BOOSTED WITH THE POWER OF FLEX GLUE!

You find the panel near the cannon that the Tenno Player hopped inside of last turn! Looks like a solid way in!

A. ~ATH(!U2) Means the death of universe twos nonexistance.
B. Upon running that code on a compurter it allways results in said computer, In this case the flying fortress, blowing up

Well, even in that case, a new universe still has to pop into existence for this code to run. Additionally, the Fortress's code still threw an error, meaning that a Universe needs to be confirmed to exist in the future in order to point at its nonexistence ending. Should have done your chrono-universal coding homework.

Actually, the cult of the cube- a 20-Charge thing I made with Srovy- was able to produce one extra action per round as long as at least two people were in the cult, and all cult members had agreed to that cult action. It was indestructible until srovy left, too. This Is the only known instance, but still. ))

[1 CP] The Figure starts assembling things. Their hands are moving incredibly fast, but... not hurriedly. Every motion is completely controlled and precise- it's like they're living Faster then everyone else. Soon, they've finished three constructs, one further from them then the others. once finished, they pour a hint of blue light into the furthest one, which instantly explodes into chalk... But they either expected this, have the reaction speed of a god, or are using short-duration time-travel, because in that instant a tiling pentagonal wall of light flickers into existence; the figure doesn't even got chalk on their... self. the figure smiles grimly... and continues their work. The second iteration of that construct explodes too. perhaps also the third. But after most certainly fewer then five attempts... it works. the construct hums wanly, and the blue glow it provides is oddly eerie in the darkness of the alcove.

oh gosh why. I shudder to think of what might happen if the Godmodder defeats the Nose defense too. Then again, I shudder to think of what might happen if he doesn't.

...are. Are you making a stature of yourself? CP charged?

The Laser is kinda massive. Like, more massive than your nose should/will be. If it was aimed at the wall a bit, it'd destroy it... but it'd still hit everything else in the area! Maybe I should clarify that... But your attempt only results in the laser rebuffing you - it has already challenged Spicy Serious to an honorable duel and it shall not point away now!

And as for you, weird statue, You can't do that. The 'Extra CP Action' thing was actually a bug in reality that seemed to be fixed when the Planes were restored post Alice's Snap. Sorry, but your attempt proceeds to spontaneously undo itself.

OOC: Only counting DefTG incidents for Action increase shenanigans.

Free Action: Before I do anything I go to the Biology Research Group and borrow a pack of 'Perfect' Chocolate Chip Cookies after I take them out of the fridge I notice that the box in my hands is getting warmer as the cookies somehow heat themselves up. I don't dwell on that though and I leave the confines of my labs and go outside a visit all the entities (that includes the armed forces) and players on the field except Gnich, The_Two_Eternities, and finally EternalStruggle. I try to convince them to help build the superlaser or at least fund it. Afterwards I give them a small box filled with ten Perfect cookies wrapped with a small purple box, I don't know what the cookies are made of I just know that there an acid trip, the good kind. When I go back to the labs I decide to give the leftover cookies to the groups researching the superlaser in hopes that my bribe will make them work harder and faster.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Action 1: I retreat to the nuclear bunker and start making myself a cyborg body if the cannon does fire I'm hoping that the bunker could take it and I could upload my soul into the body if I ever die.

Action 2: I reinforce my bunker just in case with magic and metal.

Action 3: I charge 1 cp and give it to my superlaser group.

OOC: Does this style of posting make it easier to read? If so I'll keep doing this.

You bribe the other players with Perfect Chocolate Chip cookies! Here's hoping they notice your gift...

You attempt to make a cyborg backup body, but it explodes due to the curse of Repetitiveness? Seems JObob spammed that move too much last war, especially once his Lore kicked in. Thankfully, a scientific apparatus was nearby to sacrifice itself to turn that explosion into a CP before exploding itself.

You reinforce the Bunker, giving some maxHP to the facility in general and, by extension, some regular HP too. It really needed that.

You give a CP to the Superlaser Group, who promptly turn it into coffee to keep up their madcap speeds and efforts! CP coffee - the best known coffee for entities around! But yes, the Superlaser does get boosted in progress by 1 CP.

OOC: This is fine.

"Alright, this is going to be a little tougher than I thought."

Action 1:
I take a close look at the walls of the fortress, experimentally knocking on them to see how durable they are. I produce a few bricks of C4 and attach them to the wall. Then, I channel my powers to imbue the C4 with void energy. I step back and detonate the C4, creating a large explosion of void energy that vaporizes the walls. I step into the fortress with my guns readied, and start looking for weaknesses.

Action 2:
"Regen tech," Victor sighs. "Fantastic."

He moves along the cannon until he reaches the barrel. I use my player powers to materialize some explosives on his belt. He peers into the barrel of the cannon and starts throwing grenades into it, hopefully disrupting something in its firing mechanism.

Action 3:
I store 1 CP.

CP: 4

You go in and begin blowing up walls while Victor proceeds to sabotage the Barrel! Two Subsections of the Fortress have been revealed! Destroying them will cause the Fortress to loose 100,000 HP apiece! Destroying all 10 will cause the Fortress to be destroyed no matter how much its Regen tries to fight it!

CP charged!

High above the ground, stationed atop the Flying Fortress, the Scrap Dragon sniffs around, looking for the next piece of the fortress to chomp. Tearing off the metallic coverings of the laser are it's first priority—more exposed space for allies to hit, and more tasty metal to crunch!

But could there be tastier treats within the laser's hull? The dragon immediately works itself into a feeding frenzy, gunning for the protective coverings first, and aiming to tear into the innards of the laser when no more coverings are in chomping distance.

Noticing the grenades being thrown into the laser, I immediately cast a protection spell meant to strengthen the cork and protect it from friendly fire. The cork now acts as a one-way tunnel, letting missiles and weapons phase through it and go inside the cannon, but making it harder for the laser to come out of the cannon. [-1 Action]

For my next action, I charge a CP and give it over to the Superlaser project. I did say I'd help, and help I will. [-1 Action]

My final act... will be the hardest. I wait until everyone is done summoning their forces and then clench my teeth, casting a mass levitation spell on all summoned, non-flying beings that aren't Pro-Godmodder, so they can fly and join in on the laser-destroying action. As soon as the spell is cast, I sharply whistle at anyone still ground-bound and point to the laser above us.

"Anyone who wants to live, you can attack the laser now! Don't worry about reaching it; I've got you covered!" [-1 Action]

Cork has been Shenanigan proofed! Good thinking!

Superlaser project uses your donation to the fullest effect! (MORE CP COFFEE!) +1 CP to the Superlaser project!

You enable all entity attacks to hit the Fortress! Again good thinking!

Scrap Dragon will work on eating that laser!

The thing twitches inside it's armor, muttering something about 'not this sidequest again' and losing limbs. But regardless still in it's dueling gear it raises it's voice for all Players to hear. "I doubt attacking the canon directly will do much of anything in time! Might I suggest breaching the interior and sabotaging it from there." It begins to shift it's stance. "I'll keep working on a contingency."

FOCUS!
The thing musters up the latent part of him...connected still to the Entity he created, the wall...just a touch of it's essence...

On another part of the battlefield, away from the thing...well that's not true it's there too. In fact it's literally flooding the battlefield's airspace with itself. The "copies" forming almost a shell around the laser which phases in and out of existence as other Players and entities pass through.

But fret not dueling enthusiasts out there, for these are not copies or clones or separate instances or anything of the sort. After all a duel is mono-a-mono, and any techniques of the sort would be both dishonorable and totally invalidate the duel! Thankfully these are all just the single Player.

Yup, ignore the fact that you can see millions of them crowded in a relatively small airspace. It's all just one man, no tricks no gimmicks, just a few million of a single man. How? Player Power says hi.

Thus each and every one of the one player is a part of the Duel, meaning that they're the prime target instead of the squishy entities behind them. It's...A WALL OF DUELING PLAYERS! Bringing the likelihood of the laser hitting an Entity even lower!

You concentrate and spread yourself out across the spacetime of the current battlefield....

And you find yourself and everyone else surrounded by Red Phantoms.

You know them on instinct as a part of you. An extension of your self and power.

Which means that before the Laser can kill the Other Entities, it will have to go through you. All of you.

If that thing fires at full power, it will most likely kill you in one go. But you'll likely save the other Players in the process and even some of the entities.

OOC: Fairly busy so I apologize for the bare bones post.

Hmmm, Robocop now exists but he's hardly at his peak capabilities. None of his fancy arsenal, no odd abilities like hacking, bullet catching reactions, and more. There's quite a lot of work ahead of me to make Robocop effective. Soon he'll be useful not only as an entity but also to uncover more about entity system.

First though, stat upgrades. Reinforce his armor plating with Kevlar and provide him with armor piercing rounds. First, he'll be stronger and tougher before more advanced systems are integrated into his cybernetic form during future turns. (x3, 1 action HP, 2 actions ATK)

Robocop gets back up more to how he is in the movies! Robocop improved to dispense justice!

Ouch, that training session hurt more than I thought it would, oh well the best way to recover is to do more training! So that's what I do. Me and the frog purchase a gym membership and start up a training program with a fitness expert, specifically designed to increase vitality.

For my second action I load myself into a conveniently available cannon and launch myself like a cannonball at the Flying Fortress, specifically right at the the cork stuck in It's cannon.

For my last action, I use my high vantage point of falling from the fortress to investigate what is sucking up all of the soul energy and where I can find it. I don't like the idea of something

The Frog is already pretty fit thanks to all the jumping he does, but the gym membership pays off in healing you! Mostly because they see you bleeding from the forehead and proceed to strap you to a table until your wounds heal.

You shove the Cork in deeper because you decide to use yourself as human ammunition! The gym people collectively facepalm at your decision.

While you're clinging to the cannon's edge for dear life, you proceed to see what's sucking up all of the soul energy.... and you see an unusually thick tree in the woods! In fact....

That's no tree! It's the Godmodder's hidden base! This means either there's something in the base, or it's the Godmodder himself absorbing all of the soul energy! Which is really not okay, but considering that SOUL ORB he has, I guess it's a legit capability.

Excellent. Everything is proceeding according to the scenario.

I again spend the entire round charging, adding the 3 CP into my second charge pool.

Current Charge:
  • Pool 1: 4 CP
  • Pool 2: 5 CP

You charge! ...maybe I don't need to confirm that every time someone just charges. Could save me a smidgen of time.

(x3)(9CP)With all of this turn's actions, I create the Vials of Aspects and put them Into my convenient Pocket Dimension.
Items:The Vials.

You create the Aspect Vials! You now can use the 12 Aspects of Homestuck on the fly! Well, with more efficiency than normal. +1 per Homstuck Aspect invoked, Consumable.

You charge!

Action 1-2- I use the cooking skills gained from work on a restaurant and watching Shokugeki no Soma to make the Perfect Sandwich one so perfect that would give heal injuries and make others unlock their Hidden potential in exchange of permanently ruin their tongues after tasting something so good.

I charge the rest of my CP.

You make the Perfect Sandwich! You hear a Heavy screaming from somewhere on the other side of The Wall within the Wall, crying and desiring it.

You can use this to heal up to three levels of injury if you give it to someone! Consumable.

You then charge after a Sandwich well made.

the mans mackbook and programing book mysteriously dissapear, in their place he has a book with empty pages and a box of crayons, he draws a pair of red winged boots, then, said boots appear and he puts hem on. using said boots, he then flies to the unprotekted hatch and goes inside.

while flying he also drops a pencil, it bounces through the portal into the other fight

You fly into the unprotected hatch while a mechanically irrelevant but roleplayingly charged pencil bounces through the portal to the other fight.

3 ACTION FOCUS - CHARGE!: I charge Ultimo Durana with another 3 CP. "We gettin' there."

Ultimo Durana CP: 6

I see you're balancing helping out with reboosting Ultimo back up again. Very well! +3 CP to your sword!

MAG: Rubber? Really?
MAG: ...
MAG: Why didn't anyone else think of that before?

Ah, no matter. Now is not the time for questioning design choices or a lack thereof. For now, I need to get inside this Fortress.

>ACTION 1: I pull out my Gammacor, a wrist-mounted (or rather, hovers-a-few-inches-above-my-wrist) cutting laser. Using its deadly beam, I cut open the now-revealed access panel, then pop it off entirely.

>ACTION 2: As the panel falls to the ground below, I stow the Broken Scepter on my back and make my way through the opening, entering the Fortress proper.

MAG: Taxon, scan the structure around us. Show me anything that looks important.
TAXON: <COMMENCING SCAN>

>ACTION 3: Once we enter the structure, Taxon performs a scan to determine the layout of the immediate area and find any vital systems that I could sabotage.

You enter the Fortress and scan it, revealing 3 new important structures: Floors + Ceilings, Nanite Manufacturing Cores, and the Main power Grid! Destroying the NMCs could also have a byproduct of cutting the regen factor down!

Oh my. It seems like everything just got a whole lot more complicated.

+3 CP

You charge to brace yourself for what's going on!

Action 1: Sprout some properly Zergy wings that can fold into a intimidating cloak/cape when on the ground. Most evil emperors have those right?

I charge 2 CP.

Wait a minute, my Zerg Spawners didn't tick down this turn! Is this a Godmodder ploy Arbiter?

You add totally not irrelevant Cape Wings to your Zerg Growth! (Mechanically they are though. +1 CP on top of your charged CP, but the cape wings will be noted in the Zerg Growth's description.)

...SON OF A BITCH!

In the distance you hear the Godmodder cry from his no longer hidden base. "HA! GOTTEM!"

Free Action -
A copy of The Truth materializes in front of the author, glowing a bright orange before becoming a solid, leather bound tome. They sense a door on the Arbiter Plane shut behind them, and a neon orange sticky note on the wall, simply with the following words -
You're welcome. And thanks for showing me the doors.

Action 1 (2, if Necessary) -
I focus before warping up to the Flying Fortress and searching for the optimal way in.

Action 3 -
I charge one CP, bringing the total to 2.

THANK YOU. I'll begin my own versions soon. Your flight up only requires one CP, so you charge 2 CP this turn! you are now in the fortress!

Oh shoot I almost forgot to post, uh....

ACTION 1: Zaircon peeks through the skylight to try and see what's inside.

ACTIONS 2&3: Charge.

ManiacMastR: 5 CP

You manage to see... another of the Subsections to strike! Specifically the material stores used for repairs and those Fortress Fighters! Destroying this would be a huge hit to the Frotress's ability to function...

==================================================================================================

End of Turn Battle(EoTB):

Empowered by flight, everyone rises up to attack the Fortress! Due to what appears to be enemy Action, the Fortress's fighters did not show up on last turn's EoTB, so the entirety of the AG forces will focus on the fortress itself! The barrel is barely armored at all! Skitter recaptures another 500 ATK in bugs after having sacrificed for this attack! The Overmind tries to control the fighters, but they're machines, not Psi-compatible organics! Man, that guy really is having no luck right now.

The Research Groups manage to eck out enough research to give their cannon another effective CP! The Zergling Spawner ticks - I CHECKED THIS TIME.

Now the Neutral forces come into play! Gnich's Scarab comes in and lands a decisive blow on the Barrel, shredding the last of its armor and support structures! Now, no matter what, when the cannon fires it'll shred itself from the force of its own fire! An additional 100,000 HP damage to the Fortress's overall stats!

However, that's when the Armed Forces and the Fortress fighters begin firing on each other, with Robocop mixing things up! One of the Fortress Fighters lands a hit ont he Scarab due to being a technical AG supporter and the Scarab being PG supportive, destroying it! The other four focus on the The Black Market Trading stall, due to it having Godmodder Memorabilia and giving him Godmodder CP! Black Market Trading Stall taken out!

The Armed forces take five of their men and fire upon the fighters, destroying them all in a single go! 8 more then fire upon the walls of the fortress, destroying them to the point that they're little more than support structures! -100,000 more HP to the Fortress's overall health! The other 7 then team up with Robocop to take out the ceilings and floors where they can, dealing 42,500 damage! The nanites try to repair things to keep the fortress from crumbling overall, but the firepower deters them from repairing any of the subsections directly!

The Main Cannon, though, continues to charge unabated! 10 more fighters get churned out of the Fortress, ready to return fire on the Armed Forces for their attack on the previous batch!

And finally, the Wall within the Wall takes damage! It seems that the enemies it is holding off are finally on the attack to try and bust their way in! While its ludicrous health ensures it'll remain standing for some time yet, it won't last forever. 50,000 Damage!

Hmm. First, I check him for curses, just in case. If he doesn't have a curse on him, I wake him up.
He is, thankfully, not cursed. So waking time it is!

His eyes blink in the dream. Blearily at first, then thoughtfully. He turns to the source of the disturbance.

Morpheus: ...Ah.

Morpheus: It's been a while, Player.

Morpheus: But if you're here...

Morpheus: Another Godmodding War has occurred?

There's really no other response than a nod to confirm.

Morpheus: I see... that shouldn't be possible...

Morpheus: At least, not by the ways we know or understand them.

Morpheus: But as I have been learning...

He raises a hand, and Dreamstuff begins to swirl around it, making the dream around you more solid... and more divided from the chaos of Tribulation 4. Soon, you are on an island of lucidity, a comfy bed for Morpheus and a nice, oversized beanbag for you.

Morpheus: There are more than just the old ways for achieving the results you want.

Morpheus: So... what brings you here? And what do you desire?

Fight Post 8
Player Responses:

"Oh, yeah, the Players. I admit I overlooked them because these seem to be the smart kind, like those I fought with back in the day. I'll warn you now, don't expect to take them down easily. Their ilk will usually drop everything to keep their brethren hale and hearty when risk arises. I certainly don't expect you to take any of them down, and it's not because I think you're weak or foolish. Believe me, killing even a single Player is a taller order than it sounds, and I should know. Mostly because you can't just kill one single player for exactly the reason I said. You'll have to use vast amounts of AoE to cripple and kill swathes at a time if you want to get anything to stick. And that's after you have to stymie the entity horde, a difficult task in its own right."

ES paused, and charged 3 CP. Total CP: 9.

"Oh, yeah, mind keeping me here for a bit? No sense in going back down only to get laser'd immediately."

"Your thoughts are noted." The Godmodder says neutrally. "And for the record... I highly doubt that laser will go off. The way they're tearing into it and doing their best to mitigate it, I'd honestly be caught off guard if it lasts longer than next turn, at the most generous. Still, since they've already found the base and the base is sitll in the blast zone, i see no reason to not humor you..."

CP: 6

"Then that would be my end. I will accept anything you see fit to do. Why? Because my own moral compass has failed me too many times, and now I wander in the bleak world of amorality. You are my way to escape it, one way or another."

The Godmodder lets out a genuine laugh... and it results in a near embedding into a wall from a friendly(?) 'pat' on the back.

"You amuse me. Very well. I shall be your compass and you shall be mine. Between us maybe we won't be so bad-" He laughs as if he told an awful joke. "No, we're in the wrong. But the ends justify the means, and all that."

Wow. He said that with NO shame!

I nod at the godmodder, and continue my charging (3 CP)

inventory:
4 + 3 CP

The Godmodder gives a nod back- the secrecy thing is gone!

...it was an 'Arbiter keep out sign'. Damn it! I should have worn my 'not the Arbiter' mustache! I would have been able to see into there if I had!

Curse my lack of foresight!

Anyway - holy shit, he had a buffet? And an 'Arbitrarium' TV Screen, which is as big and has as much resolution as arbitrarily necessary!? AND THOSE BEANBAGS!

GAH! I hate the Godmodder so much right now.

*ahem*

Now that business is concluded, at Richard's request he's the only one to not be teleported out after the negotiations had concluded! SIDEQUEST COMPLETE. Rather straightforward.

PGs are now established!

...

Oh god proper PG players are now established. HOW. HOW!? LITERALLY HOW!?

They have powers from God! Godmodding came from the Devil! How can the two sides exist like this?

Then again, there were those neutraladder ranks that were essentially PG in name. So I guess they get unique HP bars that-

NOPE! FUCK.

...Wait, the Neutrallader also changed!? I mean, I guess the fact that there was 'AG leaning' and 'PG leaning' rather than N+2, N+1, N, N-1, and N-2 should have been a dead giveaway.

Erm. Give me some time to analyze this data. I need to get a hold on how Player versus Player encounters - PvP - will work. As well as further implications of this change in function.

"Ah, right, I almost forgot." OF COURSE HE INTERRUPTS MY TRAIN OF THOUGHT- "You wanted a mission? Mission 1 for the PGs - Destroy the Wall within the Wall. Not only is this necessary to escape should the players fail, but it'll allow for the entities that are drawn to my earlier Action to come in and attack the AG forces. For the mercenary, "

FOCUS - Alter the Power Grid.
I look out at the Power Grid I've stumbled into, having accidentally utilized momentum and never-ending vigilance (totally not insomnia) to act quickly and ready this place before anyone else can! A mess of wires and cords, along with several strange looking boxes and lights is spread on a wall haphazardly in the front of this otherwise empty room. Deep within the bowels of the fortress, it's clear I'm not supposed to be here yet... But I'm a Player, and being places I'm not supposed to be is just a part of the job.

After some quick searching, I come across the main breaker. Subduing some sections seems better than eliminating the grid - after all, having this whole thing crash to the ground would really be bad. Quickly and carefully making sure to avoid any traps placed on the system, I shut off the switches to almost everything not related to basic survival and needs, like staying in the air and having the lights on. Power to everything else, including the Nanite Manufacturing Cores and Main Cannon, are turned completely off.

Free Action - Socialize.
Meanwhile, on the Arbiter Plane, the other Arbiter senses a disturbance in the force it's room. Turning around quickly, it's magenta figure quickly turns around from viewing the Truth to view... Me. Sitting on one of those wheeled office chairs, I push off a wall over to the figure.

Torix - Hey. Its me again.
Torix - Figured that perhaps I could help in the Truth as well, perhaps broadcasting it to a second audience in the future.
Torix - What do you say?

Inventory -
- 3 CP
- Magnetic Field Rejector

You proceed to shut off practically everything except for the stuff that prevents people from dying en masse!

...is anything happening? ...oh, it did do something. Apparently this counts as 'destroying' a section of the ship!

30,000 damage to the power supply! -100,000 Hp to the Flying Fortress! The A.I. systems scream in frustration!

But the lights flicker! They remain on, albeit in emergency mode! There must be a backup power system somewhere in the fortress! 2 Subsystems discovered!

As for the offer...

I can't really see a reason not to. Alright.

I regarded him.

I looked at his bio-tech, at his fellows, and...at my brood. I wanted to rebuff him, to deny him angrily, to destroy his perceptions of me.

I sighed.

I turned around, picking up my entire Brood. I looked at them.

"You're wrong about me. You'll never believe it, but still, whatever you suffered, whatever you've been through, and been done to, you won't listen to me."

"But, that's your choice. Stay here in the dark if you wish."

I went through the tunnels, disappearing and emerging aboveground.

____
I charge CP.

The Tyranids re-emerge to the current situation. Shit's crazy. Sidequest... complete?

The quiet watcher enters through the hole the Tenno had created, but instead of following in the Tenno's footsteps, he chose to check the map of the paths leading through the entire floating fortress that was helpfully on the wall. He checked for the specific goal he was looking for, and once he spotted where the armory was on the fortress he began walking towards it, charging one CP as he went while keeping an eye out for traps. It wasn't like he needed to worry about the main cannon, after all. He was more interested in properly arming himself with explosives, and an armory that belonged to another player in a previous battle was the perfect place to check. Worst case scenario, he'd be closer to the main portion of the fortress.

CURRENT CP: 5

You find the resource stores! This is filled with a plethora of raw materials transmuted into necessary materials or transported elsewhere by the nanites. Not bad, even if it's not ideal.

(x3)still humming the Note Isolation plays to chart the depths of Space that I used to decant Space itself into a Vial, I cause the echoes of that Singular Note, that Note that precedes Creation to focus onto the Cork, the Cork resonates in a metaphysical way and enlarges, as the resonance of Creation and Size is tuned towards the Positive state of things and more Cork is produced Ex Nihlo.

Things have managed to be Cork things up even more! In fact you get a sense that once it hits 10 CP, the main Cannon will be rendered inoperable! Especially since it's barrel is already in such a state! In fact, it might even critically backfire on the fortress itself like this!

<A1>
Walk. walk. walk. Im walk. be much walk, up wall. to wall. to circle! on circle, walk. past littler circle. keep walk. maybe am the walk on air; floor hot! keep walk! walk! Arrive! do find nanine manufacturing cores! yesy-esy/!

[1x] The Figure starts assembling things. In short, they do everything they really should have done last turn. At the end, they put down some metallic spheres in the corner, spheres which appear to be covered in snot. And then... well, and then somewhere else, another being rises.

oh god that was horrifying please never do that again. 3 nanite cores destroyed.

uh. Is this a statue of yourself? 1 CP charged?

The statue manages to create.... what did you create? uh. Mystery construct created?

It also now has 3 Ruined Cores! Mechanically they're useless, but they should be a good font ofideas-

Wait. Didn't they come from the fortress-

Hah! My strategy worked!

The clock is counting down, though, and with only 4 turns left on the clock, and a fortress packed brim-full with health, things are looking bleak.

I'll need every resource I have at my disposal...

And I start by summoning support for the laser project. A snap for my fingers, and a young, red-robed mage appears, dusting herself off and looking around. "Hey," I say, "didn't you say lasers was your focus, back at the university?"

The mage thinks for a minute, and then nods.

"Think you could help the Magic Research Division? I'll need all the CP I can to deal with the fortress, but I still want to help with the laser project however I can."

The mage salutes, a grin coming over her face, and runs off to help the Research Divisions with their harrowing endeavor. [-1 Action]

I then reach inside my robes for a Pokeball, quickly tossing it into the sky. "Dialga, I choose you!"

The aforementioned Dragon-type quickly pops out of the ether, hovering attentively before me.

"Okay, Dialga. We've got a superlaser hovering over our heads, ready to fire in 4 turns. Think you can buy us some time?"

Dialga thinks for a second, silently nodding.

"Perfect. Get going!" As Dialga flies up to the ship, I call out "If you can't stop or slow it down, try going for the manufacturing cores repairing it!" [-2 Actions, -1 CP]

The Scrap Dragon continues its feeding frenzy, avoiding chomping the players, and going after the metal in the ship. If an area is both crucial for the ship's survival, on top of being made with—or containing—the metal in question, expect the dragon to be interested—and hungry.

CP: 0

Laser Mage summoned! She'll not only get her own flavortext, but she'll contribute +1 CP per turn - though she will likely join the main body of researchers as mere flavortext once the project is complete.

You also summon- wait, is that a Dialga!? Wow, a legendary!

Most of its CP will go into its special, Roar of Time! After 3 turns it'll go off, delaying any turn timers by 1 and dealing 5,000 damage. Which means if it comes to it the Flying Fortress will be delayed 1 more turn. Roar of Time can be improved with more Actions, thankfully.

Action 1:
I stare down the nanite manufacturing cores. "You know, you're being pretty big jerks right now. I'm going through all this effort to destroy the fortress, and here you are undoing my hard work!"

I take out a baseball bat and start whacking the cores in a blind rage. Once the bat breaks, actual bats fly out of it and start biting the cores. Once they disperse, I introduce some superior nanotech into the cores: NANOMACHINES, SON! They attack and destroy the nanites within.

Action 2:
With the barrel destroyed, Victor climbs out and enters the fortress through the hole in the wall. He heads over to the power grid and analyzes it briefly.

"Well, this looks important..."

He pries off a panel, exposing some wires. He draws a plastic knife, like the ones you find at restaurants, and starts sawing through the wires. It takes a while, but he gets it done eventually.

Action 3:
I store 1 CP.

CP: 5

Those efforts destroy a whopping TWO cores! The nanomachines handled one while you took care of the other.

Nanomachines just sorta flexed.

The wires get sawed! Now, they just so happen to be ridiculously critical! Meaning that the Power Supply will STAY destroyed, even if someone tries to turn it on again!

CP stored.

With the battle to make the perfect Sandwich over, the honorable warrior needs a way to protect it from those that aren't worthy of its power and tastiness while also get a way to send the Perfect Sandwich without being used by anyone evil.

1-2 Actions Make a Magical Sandwich Launcher, one capable of sending your sandwiches without damaged at high speed and being cached easily and generate different types of sandwiches that aren't the PERFECT Sandwich to use as a (Very inefficient) munition but relative interesting distraction.

3 Action -Charge CP

(2 CP now!)

Magical Sandwich Launcher created! This is a smart move, since the Godmodder was eyeing that sandwich kinda hungrily.

The man reads 9, crossreferencing his own notes on the subject, wich are kept in a notebook with the title, JOEbob documentation and theories.

then he scribles the word broken all over the nanite manufacturing cores, then they suddenly break.

You attempt to read chapter 9 first - but find it's... well. Blank.

I haven't had time to write it, okay! I mean, I would have if chapter 9 won the vote...

At any rate, another Nanomachine core destroyed!

OOC: Vote counted! All votes counted, in fact!

3 ACTION FOCUS - CREATE .EXE ARMY CAMP: EXE Knight comes over to me and asks Gold to create more EXE Knights. Gold agrees, and with the help of EXE Knight, he creates the .EXE Army Camp, which consumes the Knight, but allows more to be produced with due time. He is training them! Good Knight.

Ultimo Durana CP: 6

Alright! With the sacrifice of EXE Knight('s time and efforts) and 3 Actions, the .EXE ARMY CAMP is created! It'll spawn 1 EXE Knight every other turn!

1. I try to salvage some of the parts as I try to rebuild my cyborg body

2. I hire the Builder's Group and Builder's Group 2, I tell the Builder's Group to help with the building of the Superlaser and Builder's Group 2 to repair and fortify the factory.

3. Seeing as how the fortress seems to be controlled by an A.I I boot up my computer and try to hack into it.

OOC: Can I change my faction to the one I chose in my post twice before?

You try to rebuild your cyborg body with salvaged parts. ...it's so weak that it definitely won't withstand much punishment, much less dish any out. And it's an entity, which further complicates matters. I think something went wrong. Or maybe there's some enemy interference. I suspect the latter.

2 Builders Groups hired! They're a bit on the cheaper side, so it'll take them twice as long to do anything, but they'll get the job done.

You attempt to hack into the A.I. Systems, but it proves resilient to standard Hollywood hacking techniques! You're only able to weaken security instead of cracking it. Thankfully, this still counts as 10,000 damage.

OOC: Please remind me one more time on which faction you want to be a part of, I can't seem to find what you were trying to declare yourself as.

[X] Read The Truth (Arbiter Edition) in order.

Action 1: Protecting the Armed Forces Troops is the first order of business. I unleash an orange, buzzing cloud in their midst to shield all under it from ranged attacks.

Action 2: Figure out who attacked the Zergling Spawners

Action 3: Charge CP.

Why are the Zergling Spawners pink now? Who attacked them?

Units:
Zergling Spawners: 5,000/5,000 HP X 3, Summon X 3(1 CP Cannon Fodder Zergling) - Warmup Time: 2/5 turns
-These things make the Zerg Rush happen. I have no idea what they look like. They're pink now. That's my attack.

Inventory:
6 CP
Zerg Matter (+3 CP to Zerg Related Actions, Has badass Evil Emperor Style Cape-Wings)

The Dark Swarm becomes a Regen Shield! It should be of some use.

...

Uh.

Uh.

I have no clue how those things got turned pink. Nope. None at all. But I'm sure whoever did it just did it out of a harmless prank due to not knowing how the pawners worked. that's totally a logical and reasonable assumption, yup.

And for no other reason than it being so obvious, here's your CP for that little inquiry returned. Nice and safe and sound.

"Wow, this is a bad time to remember my fear of heights".Finally realising that I'm stuck on a flying fortress with a long drop below me, I scramble up the side of the fortress and enter it. "now what convenient place have i found myself in this time? Aha! The Resource Stores! Perfect, i think ill be borrowing some things from here" Using my first two actions I set up a forge in the resource stores and steal the Fortresses resources in order to craft armour for the frog, it should give extra protection and hopefully protect him from one hit KO's.

I then convert the leftover resources into my second CP, which I place in my wallet.
2 CP.

The Resources are quickly snatched up and converted into armor, leaving a somewhat disappointed Silent Observer sitting over in the corner. on the plus side, the Frog now has another 40,000 HP as he practices to make sure the Armor fits and he can use it so that they are as one! On the other plus side: Resource stores Destroyed! -100,000 Hp to the Fortress!

>FOCUS: Well, time to do what Tenno do best. Wanton and probably needless destruction. I make my way to the nearest Nanite Manufacturing Core and lay into it with a full clip from my Zenith, then move on to attack another one if destroying one took less than 3 actions. If the NMC's are already destroyed, I instead attack the Main Power Grid. And if that is already destroyed, then I just trash the Resource Stores instead.

[X] Read The Truth (Arbiter Edition) in order.

The Tenno lays waste to not one, not two, but 3 NMCs! Nice job!

Focus Action!

Some Entities!? That's nothing to be proud of for a supposed "Champion of the Wall" fighting for the honor of walls everywhere! This information is information it uses to psyche itself up for a Power-Fueled training montage, completely mental of course (you can't leave a duel), but by the power of Power the effects are made as reality!

How is this different from merely empowering himself!? FLUFF YOU HEATHEN!

From this training sequence his, and thus the Red Phantom's, bodies and armor begin to shift, once ambiguously described they seem to solidify, becoming more wall-like in body and armor, their metallic full plate shining with the power of PLAYER POWER and, STEEL MORTAR!

The Duelist Thing now possessing the body of a wall to better shield the army bellow and above and to the side and everywhere really should the situation turn for the worst, but maintaining it's clear dueling competence and honorable chivalry...CLEARLY!

Two CP banked that it totally hadn't forgotten about

Those words and feelings are made manifest! Training Sequence powers embolden and toughen things up! Now most entities will survive the attack - and that's if you decide not to take the full attack. Taking the full attack will send you to the Godmodder's Soul orb for some double jeapordy, but you will likely save them all now. But it is your choice...

If I have a vote, then...

[X] Read The Truth (Arbiter Edition) in order.

If not, then /null.
Robocop continues his power growth, this time with an ability. It's hardly the most original, a high power attack after a few turns pass, but still effective. After 3 (OOC: can be increased if needed) turns, Robocop receives ammunition for his newly gained weapon. Because when Robocop needs the big guns, he turns to the Cobra Assault Cannon. (x3)
Cobra Assault Cannon Special added to Robocop! With this, he shall secure justice!

Action 1-3: I charge 3 more CP.

OOC: My brain isn't working today on ideas. hopefully by next story post I am able to start doing stuff.
[X] Read The Truth (Arbiter Edition) in order.
[X] Read the next chapter now

I don't think I'm supposed to have (or ever have had) the Tofu Shield in my inventory. I mean, if you want to give it to me for free, you can, but...

Action 1: I build a power siphon and force field generator into the cork, allowing it to siphon off the energy being charged by the cannon to boost its own shields.

Action 2: I summon a copy of the arm cannon used by Kuvira's robot in The Legend of Korra and give it to the superlaser project to reverse engineer.

Action 3: I hack into the Main Cannon's systems and edit files at random, causing numerous bugs to crop up. I then get Skitter to mind-control the bugs to the AGs, where they work to shut down the system from the inside.

Oooh! A power siphon? That is pretty ingenious! +2 to the corkening!

You contribute a robot I know nothing about! But it's totally useful! +1 CP

Again, the A.I. is not easily beaten by Hollywood hacking. However, the file edits to the security does cripple its ability to deal with incoming hacks! -10,000 HP!

Thank you very much, sorry for any inconveniences caused

OOC: You're okay! These things happen - and it was a little confusing/easy to miss!

[X] 9: The Truth about JOEbob

===================================================================================================================

End of Turn Battle (EoTB):

Everyone goes to town! And by 'to town' I mean Yajirobe and Scrap Dragon take out the last NMC! Now, while this won't do much, the nanites that exist will rapidly break down, eliminating the regen factor! Also -100,000 HP from the Fortress for having yet another critical subsection destroyed! Skitter throws 2,250 ATK worth of Bugs, thanks to the buffs from the Holy Spirit, into the Miscellaneous bits of the fortress! Wait, 2,250? But she only had 500 ATK worht of bugs...

Oh right! Nearly forgot about Butterfree. Good mon.

Everything ticks up this turn, including the Research Group's Research Points- What the!?

"Thanks for your contribution. 2 Cp for the price of one Action."

Damn it! it looks like the Godmodder stole the 4 Research points meant for the Super Laser to get rid of those few research points and buff up his CP stores!

But he's not using that GCP yet. Instead, for his second Action, he's going to apparently grab the Bank Teller and - OH GOOD GRAVY! He's beating entities to death with him! The humanity! Bank Teller Slain! Tenno Slain! Overmind Slain!

"Don't mind me, just clearing out some trash. But be grateful that I didn't touch anything useful to getting that eyesore out of the sky."

Now its time for the Neutrals to go up to bat! The fighters, naturally, are destroyed, but they take out 2 Armed Forces and another gets injured in the process. The rest of the forces and Robocop get to work. They finish off the Floors/Ceilings and the Miscellaneous functions in the Flying Fortress! In doing so, they expose where the Fighters are bing manufactured and deal an additional 17,500 damage!

However, this causes the A.I. and the manufacturing center to kick into overdrive and pump out a whopping 42 fighters! It'd likely be 50, but the place that made them did take damage.

The Tyranids, not having any orders, nibble on some foliage.

The Wall within the Wall, meanwhile, takes 100,000 damage this time! You can hear the monsters without clamoring for blood...

Sidequest 2: Dreams of the Past, Post 4
I desire for the Godmodder War to end, and by having the power or ability to do so. That is what you were asking yes? As for what brings me here, I'm not really sure. I went to sleep, and ended up here.
Morpheus sighs.

Morpheus: I am... not entirely surprised.

Morpheus: But before, when I truly was the God of Dreams, I knew things like this was no coincidence. Chance meetings were never left up to chance.

Morpheus: There are no more gods, though. It is only through those crystals I was gifted and my time with the former God of Magic and Knowledge that I was able to forge a new means of mastery over Dreams.

Morpheus: And even at the height of my power, defeating any Godmodder, even one not with the prodigal might and talent of John Smith, was out of the question.

Morpheus seems dissatisfied with this answer. The dream reshapes in response, showing the scene of Morpheus's death - or rather the retconned version thanks to the Orb of Paradox. It shows Morpheus being cut from his power, his position, from reality as for a second Dreams ceased to be. It showed the mighty being falling into darkness, the great power and form dissolving as if it were sugar plunged into deep waters. All that remained was a single crystalline Heart, and even that was warped into a monstrosity of Nightmares.

Morpheus watches.

Morpheus: ...There are no more higher powers guiding us... even the greatest, the Ruler of Heaven, could not guide everything from the grave indefinitely.

Morpheus: But perhaps we can yet make the most of this.

Morpheus turns to you and hands you an item - a slip of paper - more real than Dream Excalibur. You are certain it will persist into the real world when you wake.

Morpheus: Use this upon the Godmodder. Then, when you have an opportunity after the first boss has fallen, come to find me and Gomak - yes, the former god decided to make his acronym his proper name now - come and find us. We shall explain to you what the paper did and how we plan to aid you. If something comes up and is more pressing, though, I do not mind a delay, so long as you come.

The dream begins to waver and fade. Perhaps too much time was spent here as it is.

Morpheus: And Players...

He hesitates.

Morpheus: ...take one more thing.

You are given a Strange Key. This is both more real than the dream but less real than the paper. You feel that this will stay with your soul until the time is right for its true purpose to be revealed.

Morpheus: This will aid you should you find yourself fatally wounded. I'd give you something to cheat death, but... be not afraid, as the angels say. Death is not the ending. Especially not in a Godmodding War. For better or worse.

And from here....

There is awakening.

SIDEQUEST COMPLETE!

Items lost: Dream Excalibur

Fight Post 9
Player Responses:

(x1)I cork up the Main Cannon one last time as the cork becomes a living thing, growing branches into the Cannon itself to fully stuff it.
(x2)+2 CP
Items:Vials of Aspects, 2CP

You tell the Main Cannon, through action, to stuff it! The Cork enforces the point!

That's it! It's been fully corked! Not to mention with the damage it's sustained.... Yeah! It looks like all that's left is the cleanup!

You charge some CP as you kick back and wait for the fireworks.

FOCUS: Zaircon looks at where the Fighters are being manufactured and sees his chance. He grabs a lasso from hammerspace, hooks the roof of the fortress, and swings to the hole that revealed it.

Landing in the assembly, Zaircon pauses, looks around, then pounces.

Literally. He pounces on to a conveyor belt, and allows it to take him further into the plant.

After a couple of minutes, a loud crash is heard, and Zaircon crashes out of the wall, back to the room he was first in. It seems he has allowed the manufacture plant to build around him, making him into some sort of half Dragon-thing half Fighter Plane. Using his newfound powers, he rockets through the Assembly Plant, firing shots at anything and everything.

Flying around, he observes the damage, then decides to do one last thing. He flies at full speed, straight into the opposite wall. Zaircon crashes through, but the parts of the Fighter (somehow) are left behind, blocking the hole in the wall.

Looking over at the blocked hole, Zaircon fires a small fire ball into it. The fire hits the fuel tank of the Fighter, and it explodes, taking out the Fighter Craft Assembly with it!

ManiacMastR: 5 CP

Ka-BOOM! through the power of turning your opponent's tech against hem, you take out the Assembly! Assembly destroyed! -100,000 Hp tot he Fortress, which is little more than rubble duck taped together by wires and support structures by this point!

One might be forgiven for confusing him with the Red Skull.

There are differences, of course. His facial structure is different. He wears a camouflage jacket over the black leather. Instead of German or Hydra iconography, he wears an insignia that is a red circle surrounded by eight black rays. But otherwise, he is quite similar.

((The action titled "New fear for a new decade" will appear in another post.))

...well that's not reassuring at all.

The quiet watcher smiles at the now empty room, grateful that what he really needed wasn't taken. He uses an action to loot the actual nanite cores that even now were trying to refill the room, before walking back out and taking a left, leading him to the maintenance areas of the ship. Once inside, he wanders up to the cannon maintenance area, and loots every power capacitor and the focusing gem from the whole thing. Then he charges up one more CP.

CURRENT CP: 5

You manage to get a bunch of broken nanite cores, power capacitors, and even a focusing gem! Not a bad haul. You top yourself off with that charged CP.

<A1>
Because Sniff of metal grey small cores happen, Nose EXPA N D ! must bigger to fit, so did! Nose has hair, but hair not sharp enough. Hair become teeth. Nose now teeth. And big. Like double-mouth! Nose is very good and the muching of defence.

(((OOC: ...I wrote this action, but it got wiped, and I don't remember how I phrased it. Basically, the statue doesn't have nose-teeth or organs, but it will be red and a figurine soon because that's how all good statues are. Then, the guy makes it red.)))

[1x] The Figure has stopped. But elsewhere, in a dream, perhaps, a person goes walking down a street... in full plate armor, which of course nobody comments upon and is completely intangible. The person enters a museum. They steal a priceless ancient bone, which is of course the only way to free an esoteric race of mermaids from the control of their dead ancestor. But they somehow know the bone doesn't actually count and won't work, so they keep searching the museum and eventually come to another display, which offers one 'nether star' if one can beat some jumping puzzle, where failure costs a soul. Small potatos, they think. A Soul? whatever. So they jump along- finding the ceiling padded, and unusually close- and get the star. satisfied, they continue the quest they're doing, and receive a key to some overgrown ruins. But someone doesn't want them to go to the ruins... That day, anyway. Some kind of future sight prophecy weirdness. So they try to stall the person in full plate armor. who refuses, eventually. And aims to leave the city, towards the towering wall and superstructure that is the Ruins. So the mermaids ancestor- what, did you think that part was irrelevant?- causes a massive flood across the city and blames it on them for not listening. Also, they try to use the bone, but it's fake, so it doesn't work. On the other hand, the cutscene doesn't let them use the Star, which would. At some point, they leave the city. And at some point, the world around them grows indistinct. And at some point... They are There , in the particular dream with Morpheus. Holding a long wooden staff which curves around a sort of gemlike orb of power. wearing full plate armor made of diamonds( which of course nobody will comment upon). Also, with a floating icon on top of their head which reads "Hetuo".
The first thing they say when they arrive is this:

"𝓘𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓭𝓸𝓽𝓱 𝓪𝓵𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓭𝔂 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓱𝓮𝓷𝓭 𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓮 𝓷𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓮 𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓻𝓮, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓶𝔂𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓯 𝓲 𝓺𝓾𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓫𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓮𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓹𝓱𝓮𝓾𝓼 𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓲𝓻 𝓲𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓼𝓮 𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓸𝔀𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮𝓼 𝓫𝓸𝓽𝓱 𝓹𝓻𝓲𝓸𝓻 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓮𝓷𝓽,𝓘 𝓶𝓸𝓼𝓽 𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓵𝔂 𝓻𝓮𝓺𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓸𝓷𝓵𝔂 𝓸𝓫𝓵𝓲𝓺𝓾𝓮 𝓻𝓮𝓯𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓫𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓭𝓮 𝓾𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓼𝓪𝓲𝓭 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓼, 𝓪𝓼 𝓘 𝓭𝓸 𝓷𝓸𝓽 𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓵𝔂 𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓲𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓫𝓮 𝓭𝓮𝓽𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓮𝓭."

The Godmodder, now thoroughly terrified of the Nose of the Damned you're sporting, decides to be heroic for once and annihilates it with the Nose Be Gone Superlaser at the cost of a Godmodder Action. But we both know, with no small amount of horror, that this won't be the end of this nightmare.

This thing put another CP into the ...

...

If that thing is summoning some literally damned thing I'm going to lose my mind. The statue now has another CP in it and it's now red.

...Looks like. Um.

How is this working?

Will they only be partway shoved into a sidequest?

How is this arrangement happening?

...

Hm. There's a connection.

So.

Let's just...

I guess we'll just have Morpheus respond and record it here?

Seems weird, but it works for me.

As the statue talks to Morphues, Dragon of Hope finally begins to wake up! They don't do anything this turn, though, since they're confused by not being able to hear anything.

Morpheus: ...I believe you're... Ah.

Morpheus: I have been... busy. And well. As I said to Dragon of Hope, it was only through the crystals and Gomak's assistance that I've regained even this much, and even then it amounts to little more than dominion over one on one dream interactions.

The former god snorts forlornly.

Morpheus: A player once created a winged, talking horse with as much capability! Still, such is the result of my own folly, so my right to complain isn't that great, despite John's own role in the loss.

Morpheus: Still... it's nice to talk to you once more, if for old times sake.

Morpheus: But I'm afraid I don't have much time for more pleasantries - I need to discuss something with Gomak. But if you have any business you wish to bring up, I'd be more than willing to hear you out, as the saying goes.

I grit my teeth as the Godmodder steals the superlaser research. I was using that for the counterattack...

With my current abilities, I don't think I'll be able to buff the research station in time for the cannon attack.

But that doesn't mean I can't help the others...

I spend 2 Actions to buff Dialga's Roar of Time ability, and the last one to buff the Scrap Dragon. While I really wanted to spend two points on the Scrap Dragon, lord knows what might crop up during the next round. The quicker Dialga can put the freeze on the laser, the faster all of us can buff up.

Meanwhile, what doesn't get trashed in the remaining areas—especially the Assembly room—gets enthusiastically eaten, the Dragon nomming metal coverings and half-finished fighters with gusto.

CP: 0

You buff Dialga's Roar of Time ability! It now fires in two turns and, as such, will stall the cannon's fire for one turn this turn!

You make the Scrap Dragon buffer, beefing its attack by 1 CP! Which it will use to eat more. Typical.

[I've decided to Re-create my character]

Spa awoke, only to be met with himself on the ground...realizing his predicament, he slowly laid on up.

He remembered what had previously happened, he was apparently supposed to defeat this person named "God-Madder." Whatever that meant..

Oh! He just remembered he also had points he could do anything with, he was kinda skeptical so he decided to at least try...

He thought of something, oh! He knew something! With one finger raised signaling his want to use 1 Point. He imagined An Unexaustable Lemonade Drink.

For the other points, he decided to save them. He just wanted to see if it would work anyways.

He wondered what might it take to defeat the God-Madder, maybe water? He heard it was a robot, robots get fried in water...unless their waterproof.

...the God-Madder might be waterproof...

[Charge Points - 2]

????

What.

...

You make an Unexaustable Lemonade Drink! It's refreshing, but it doesn't quite live up to its name - if it's used for any mechanical benefit it'll run out after the Action has run its course. Otherwise you'll have an eternal supply of lemonade to sip from!

...Slurp....

Action 1:
"Happy New Year!"

I walk up to the backup power supply and decide to host my New Years celebration there. I kick things off by throwing down some multicolored flares to light up the room. Some sparks land on some important parts of the power supply and start a colorful electrical fire. Then, I shoot off some fireworks while still indoors. It goes about as well as you'd expect, with several explosions ravaging the power supply. I cap off my celebration by absorbing all the fireworks and flares, using them to fire off a rainbow beam into the power supply.

Action 2:
Victor infiltrates the fighter craft assembly. With my bombastic celebration going on, any members of the fortress' crew are either not present or too distracted to notice him. He starts to tamper with the machinery by simply unplugging everything he can find. Once that's done, he tosses a few bricks of C4 into anything that looks important, detonating them with a shot from his rifle. Finally, he bashes anything still intact with the butt of his rifle.

Action 3:
I store 1 CP.

CP: 6

You and victor deal some festive New Years Celebrations! Which is strange since chronologically speaking it's not New Years but you get the bonus anyway somehow. Since the Assembly was already wrecked, Victor decides to help you party harder! You're both hammered by now, but you've dealt 30,000 damage to the backup power supply!

"Well, if I'm in firing range anyway, and you do have a point about the laser going down..." ES shrugs, although his surroundings are a distorted haze. Looks like even if you can see and hear him, his surroundings are still Arbiter-proofed.

"Let's enter with a bit of a bang!"

Richard reappears in the battlefield high in the sky, having teleported out. He has a megaphone on him and is yelling down at the players below.

"Attention all noobs, losers, and those of you that I assume are competent! Having an Entity is not a right, it is a responsibility and privilege! Those Entities not taken care of will be safely removed from the battlefield with deadly force! And no, that's not a contradiction in terms! It's time for an object lesson from me, the Master of Mayhem, the Lord of Lightning, and your END!"

Raising his free hand to the sky, ES fires with full force! A barrage of energy bolts fly up to a certain distance, hanging for a brief moment, and then beginning to fall back to the earth. However, in an act of appropriate PGness, this attack is not immediate but rather will take affect during the EotB. All the 10k HP Entities are targeted for deletion: the Holy Spirit, Yajirobe, Butterfree, Skitter, .EXE ARMY CAMP, Scrap Dragon, and Dialga. Looks like 7 CP was used, appropriately enough, one for each Entity. If these attacks hit, their targets are sure to be destroyed by the explosive bolts of pure Player power, augmented absolutely with abounding alliteration!

What's done immediately is with the other 5 CP Richard has available, which is to teleport from his position in the sky to the Ether Spring. ES isn't sure what Ether Gears are either, but what he does know is that a Godmodder can probably make good use of them, as they can most things. He cunningly stages a heist of the entire thing, and by heist I mean he physically uproots it from the ground and runs as fast as he can all the way to the Godmodder, and sets it down beside him. Probably while the Benny Hill theme was playing if we're being honest. Once there, he reverse the polarity of its neutron flow so as to switch its allegiance! Those who try to pursue will find themselves bogged down with sneakily placed landmines and invisible attack drones.

A devastating delayed attack is unleashed! If this hits, it'll cripple the AG forces in one fell swoop!

The Ether Spring is swiped with 5 CP! Which is as many as 5 Actions, which is awful!

Along with 7 CP, the rest of my actions are used up. Suddenly, right next to me( wherever I am), appears an obelisk. Green and made with a dark metal, it shoots a beacon of light that calls for reinforcements every 2 turns. ( 10 CP used, can call upon 3 necron warriors) a slot is on the side, to allow consumption of Resources to increase quality of troops (3 resources =2 cp)

edit: revised the summoning, and resource conversion

7 of 10 CP and 3 actions burned to create the Necron Obelisk! It glows sinisterly! 3 powerful Necron Warriors shall be summoned each turn, with resources able to add to the total CP the Obelisk can bring to bear!

3 ACTION FOCUS - BUILD UP CAMP: I spend a bit of time building up the EXE. Army Camp, allowing it to produce more EXE Knights a bit quicker.

Ultimo Durana CP: 6

If the Camp survives, it'll be 3 CP away from being able to summon an EXE KNight every turn!

I curse the Godmodder for stealing research then start working on something

1. I encrypt the superlaser research with an anti-Godmodder encryption

2. Write a A.I to hack into the fortress it has the ability to evolve itself in order to to hack better

3. I charge cp for the superlaser

OOC:the faction was EE or EREVNITIKA ERGASTIRIA

....um.

Uh.

You can be Neutral. Further factioning is not really within the bounds of Player powers.

Though nothing is stopping you from slapping the label onto your forces as an unofficial faction. Unofficial things never stopped being a thing! Faction changed to Neutral!

Also, I figured out what the deal is with your Cyborg Body! It's functioning as an Attack shield! It'll be listed as such and you'll be protected from one attack by it!

You add a CP woth of research to the Superlaser and another regular CP to it! You then attackt he Fortress A.I. with a self evolving A.I.! It valiantly completes its mission, but it loses its life as it comes to mathmatically realize that such a fate is a virtue!

But Danny Boy.exe did his job! The A.I. Systems are destroyed and the fortress takes another 100,000 damage. Now go on Danny Boy.exe. The Synths... the synths are a calling...

FOCUS: I upgrade the Cork's power siphoner to improve its energy collection and render it able to store the siphoned energy in a battery, to be reused at a later time. No sense in letting an entire superlaser worth of power go to waste. (Okay, the whole superlaser won't fit in the battery, but a decent amount of energy still will.)

If the laser fires, the cork will store about 100,000 damage worth of laser power! I have a feeling, though, that this won't last long enough to do so...

Hellmuth nods.

Hellmuth smiles exuberantly. "Yes. Yes! This must have been what fighting for a Godmodder was like before John Smith! Giving all the Players outnumbering you a chance to stop your power, and watching gleefully as they ignore your schemes! (Because let's be honest: From what I've seen of what the Arbiter Moniker showed of the other players, they didn't seem too competent.)"

"But direct attack is really only part of a PG's style. The other part is mind control. Or should I say 'arguments from pathos'?"

Hellmuth snaps the fingers of his left hand. A megaphone appears in midair, and he catches it with his right hand as it falls.

"Attention all incompetents, all halfway-competent people, and the very few of you AGs who I dislike my chances against! Having allies is not a right either! Especially not when they're sapient beings!"

Hellmuth tosses the megaphone into the air. He snaps the fingers of his left hand, and it vanishes.

3 Actions+6 CP: New Fear for a New Decade

He snaps again, and a pistol looking like something out of a sci-fi movie appears in his right hand. He snaps again, creating an array of 10,000 batteries that plugs itself into the pistol. "Old classic, new purpose. I call this thing the F.A.Z.E.R.: Fear-Applying Zen-Eradicating Raygun!"

He points it at the Armed Forces, and pulls the trigger. No beam of light shoots out, but the results are immediate: The Armed Forces are less unswervingly brave. More cautious. Desiring to preserve their own lives.

And just as they're reeling from the sudden mental change, Augustine Hellmuth swoops in. "Face it: You're Entities. Stick around for too long, and you're dead. And do the Anti-Godmodders really need your help? They're about to destroy the Flying Fortress; look at them! Even if they don't, I doubt the Superlaser will kill them. But you? You don't have a dedicated Player assisting you. That means that if the Arbiter wants to blow some AG force to smithereens to show the Godmodder's power, he looks at you first."

"But you can retreat. All you have to do is destroy the Wall Within The Wall, and you'll be able to escape."

"Not convinced yet? That's fine. There are plenty of arguments for my position."

((Effect: The Armed Forces now have a Fear Meter, representing their desire to not get killed. It can be modified by actions that sway the Armed Forces one way or another. If the Fear Meter drops all the way, then it disappears and they stay AG-leaning. If it rises all the way, then it disappears and they convert to Neutral, only attacking the Wall within the Wall.))

The Armed Forces, despite being battle hardened troops, are rightfully filled with fear! They know the horror stories from the previous Godmodding wars! They're stunned with indecision!

Players! There's now a Fear Meter you need to fight down! Fight it down to keep them on the AG side... or fill it up to drive them into attacking the Wall within the Wall!

"Hoh? It seems those turncoats are acting up, and it seems they're trying to act all cool and villain like. Well, it cant be helped. Someones got to do something about it" I jump out of the Flying Fortress and begin my (safe) fall to the ground, narrowly dodging some energy bolts "Whoa! guess I should take care of this guy first." I steady my fall and glare right at the culprit. "Entities are a responsibility, that much is correct. However don't think you're lesson holds any meaning whatsoever! One cannot judge the care put into an entity by it's HP values alone! One must consider their potential and the time the creator has placed into the entity! The care that they show during its growth! To cut short the growth potential of these Entities displays your ignorance! That is your contradiction!"

Well, now that I've said my peace it's time to back up my words. Using my First and Second actions I steady my fall and flip myself to face the energy bolts. Now I doubt I can stop this attack, but I can mitigate it. I call on a great spirit animal that resides in the world above, a being far stronger than me. As i begin my summon a great pair of wings appear behind me, ready to commence their counterattack.

I call on the sky
He who watches from heaven
Aid my endeavour

That's right, I'm combating an attack powered by alliteration with my own attack powered by a (Terrible) Haiku! With the summoning Haiku completed the attack commences, the pair of wings break apart into feathers and shoot out at the energy bolts, and while they aren't able to negate the attack, they are able to remove two sevenths of damage from it. Which is enough to prevent the attacks from outright destroying the entities they will hit. "I've done what i can, it is up to the other players to heal their entities".

Before I finish up, there is one last task. I angle my fall so that land amongst the armed forces (Yes, it is possible to fall upwards) next turn and call out to them "Hang in there military bro's! Your struggles have not gone unnoticed! I'm on my way to help!"

I charge one CP
CP = 3

The Military bros are startled! Your words mean nothing when you just freaking fell from the sky outta nowehre like that!

But the TerribleHaiku does its best to negate damage across the launched attack... and it succeeds slightly better than expected! All entities will only take 7,000 damage apiece from ES's attack!

The thing sighs, an action repeated across the many Red Phantoms. [L-Orange] "PG's..." [L-Orange End] It grumbles, tiredly rubbing it's forehead...through it's helm. Somehow. Regardless the thing tenses, it cannot break the duel lest their safety net fall out...but...

Action One & Two!

The Entities Richard, ES, or whatever he's taken to calling himself, has targeted cannot be allowed to die. Thankfully, there's already some willing meatshields, surrounding them. The Red Phantoms, separate themselves into being different Instances of the waxy thing briefly with bursts of Player Power, but a brief moment would be all that's needed. They hurl themselves in front of the attacks, defensive stances armed with a speed that only Power can incite.

The powerful attacks eat throw sword, then armor, then flesh. And again, and again, and again. The Instanced Red Phantoms wearing down the force of the attacks with their bodies.

The thing ignores the potential existential it probably just caused itself. by the rapid self-murder, and silently expands the reach of the Red Phantoms again. Hoping that that act hasn't caused a hole in their safety blanket.

With that it resumes it's dead-lock with the barrel of a laser canon, charging Power for what's to come...

Three CP Banked

The Red Phantoms are thrown at the rest of the attack with 2 additional actions to reinforce it! And... it holds! It is greatly weakened, though, and half its previous effectiveness! However, with the cork in place, the shield's power should be far more than sufficient, if not superfluous!

I continue to charge. The day is fast approaching.

Charge Pool 1: 4CP
Charge Pool 2: 8CP
Action 1-3: I walk over to the Godmodder and I did one thing to him. I just went face to face with him... and I slowly took my index finger. I reeled it back, and I poked the Godmodder. After the reality changing action that I did, the Godmodder was so depressed that I wasted my perfectly good turn with just a poke. He wondered if I have anything other better to do with my life. and I poked him again. He gets even more depressed by my lack of creativity. Then, I took my left hand and moved it to my back. The Godmodder's hopes are returning, Finally, I may end up doing something different. Then, I poked him for the third time. His disappointment and depressive measures are off the charts. His massive disappointment and depression hurt him emotionally and physically.

OOC: Going to go back to college here on Monday. Posts my end up being less frequent.

"...you. you wasted an entire focus action to damage me. You only needed one to do a shenanigan- I..." The Godmodder slumps a little. "Great me, it's like facing the idiots of the past."

The thought of facing them again depresses the Godmodder and actually depresses him enough to take a damage!

Actions 1-2 I create the nega-sandwich weaponizing everything that isn't possible to make a semi-decent food and combined it on the worst two pieces of bread. This abomination will be used in the future, as the worst sandwich of the world.

And I charge the CP. (I have 3 now)

You create the WORST SANDWICH EVER! Good god, the Nega-Sandwich! Blleeuuuggghhhh!

You also charge a CP. Thanks for keeping track of them!

>FOCUS: This Fortress obviously isn't going to die anytime soon, so instead I'll have to kill its power. I find the Backup Power Supply, then lay into it with the Zenith.

You lay into the Backup Power Supply!

!!!!

With that, all 10Sections of the Fortress have fallen! LETHAL DAMAGE INFLICTED!

The destruction of the Fortress will occur in the EoTB!

Realizing I'm on the verge of running out of time to define my actions, I quickly charge 3 CP before I end the turn. This brings the total number to 6.

- 6 CP
After all these years of inactivity I flirt with the Godmodder harder than last time. He would never expect someone in a coma to wake up and flirt with him immediately.
+2 CP

"No."

OH GOD THAT REJECTION! It's nearly enough to fall back into a coma from the decisive declination!

At least you charged those 2 CP.

Action 1: I sign a contract to fight for the Godmodder with the Godmodder as long as the Godmodder deals 1 damage to himself as I have a very ambitious plot involving damage copying to deal a lot of damage to the players. Information: Duration of Service: All of the year 2020! Written in a magical contract! Traitor time! Now to begin with my traitours armsage. I mean traitorous rampage. In addition, I add in an anti-time travel clause to ban myself or the Godmodder from using time travel to try and escape the magical contract between us, which is a better deal, since I am pretty good at time travel alright.

Focus X2: I summon a mirror to point it at the Godmodder as he deals damage to himself. Its important that he deals damage to himself (which is why I continue onwards even if the Godmodder doesn't damage himself). Then I cast destiny bond, targeting the Godmodder and the Godmodder in the mirror, but first I summon another mirror. This magic mirror reflects the destiny bond and the bond instead targets destiny and destiny 2. Then, with the power of destiny, I summon Ash as standard via destiny solving rules of the Pokemon universe. Ash proceeds to catch the Godmodder, but this fails because the Godmodder is not a pokemon. This is reflected by the first mirror into the mirror dimension, catching the Godmodder in the mirror, because this whole time the mirror dimension is an alternate universe where the Pokemons have to deal with the Godmodder and the Godmodder is a uber strong pokemon. The Pokemodder universe.

Of course, the Godmodder resists the catch and breaks out. Then I hack into the game itself and transfer the destiny bond between the Godmodder and the Godmodder in the mirror to the Godmodder and all of the players. If the Godmodder did actually damage themself, the damage mirrors into the Mirror Dimension and all of the players in there take a ton of damage via mirror damage. But an interesting fact about mirror damage, is that Celebi went back in time with a mirror to reflect the mirror damage back through the mirror into our reality and misses. Continuing on, the mirror Godmodder throws out a rat pokemon of extreme power, known as a ratatatata, an improved form of the Ratatat, an improved form of rats. I imbue this rat with the ultimate power of destiny I claimed earlier from the destiny mirrors and destiny. It then disappears, as it is not its time yet, as the Year of the Rat hasn't actually started yet.

1/25/2020.
Then I punch the Godmodder through the Factorio, which the Godmodder dodges easily, but is still hit, because Factorio isn't a valid target on the Godmodder's body for a Aimed Shot, so I hit the Factorio, which is not a part of the Godmodder that encompasses Factory games, and instead just a random game of Factorio. As my punch flies through, it finds its way to destroy a train and a mirror, originally watching the Godmodder, reflects the action because I punched a thing. Then, the second mirror's Godmodder is defeated by Ash via throwing a master ball, causing the reality to crack as the mirror explodes into multiple pieces as everyone inside the completely fake alternate universe dies, as it was only the players and the Godmodder and the rat, as the mirror universe was solely for my purposes (since any reality with anyone around to experience it effectively no longer exists, due to . Then, you might ask, where is Celebi? The Mirror shatters on the exact timing into multiple different shards, which lines up exactly to the Godmodder. The Godmodder goes to dodge, and succeeds, but a Celebi appears with a mirror which further reflects the punch at the Godmodder. The Godmodder tries to dodge again, but instead trips on a Ratatatata randomly standing around and gets punched into the face and bit. Then the Ratatatata disappears. Its destiny is only partially realized yet.

The Godmodder proceeds to pull out the Magical Contract and calls BS. I ask the Godmodder to elaborate. A player with such a contract is not allowed to do anything but fight for the Godmodder. This is true. Then I ask the Godmodder to punch in 2020! in a calculator and gets a very, very large number. Unexpected Factorial. There is a whole subreddit dedicated to it. The game isn't over. I reveal that this whole time, that he was planning to argue that a single punch shouldn't be enough. Then I show them the train that I had destroyed with my punch. The Godmodder gets to see the train because I throw the train at the Godmodder making him dodge. Then I end turn and emote.

Then with my actual action 3 I go ahead and complain about future events ahead of time. This will be left redacted for the purposes of readability in proper chronological order.
MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW.

...oh gosh my head hurts and I don't have any organs or nerves to simulate pain with.

The Godmodder caught onto the trick when he read that that year was written with an exclamation point! Since the contract doesn't kick in until he willingly deals 1 point of damage to himself BUT RedRover already signed, he decides to save a copy of the contract in his personal, player proof storage! Player proof storage? Absurd! ...he doesn't care enough to respond- okay.

"Since 'Action 3' is simply complaining about future events under the redaction of MEOWs, it doesn't count as an actual Action, and therefore the Focus Action is an actual Focus-"

You took damage from a Focused triple poke.

"...fuck. Alright, time to cheese this the 'legit' way."

The Godmodder you attack is suddenly revealed to be nothing more than a mist of ash particles that came from a burning pile of paper with the smug 'UMAD' meme written on it! When all is said and done, the entire attck looks like it goes through, but when the Godmodder steps back onto the field unscathed, it was all revealed to be...

Smoke and Mirrors.

===================================================================================================================

End of Turn Battle (EoTB):

We interrupt your regularly scheduled EoTB to bring you Flying Fortress's Destruction Cutscene!

-----------------------------------

Cutscene:

Stripped of any an all elements to keep the monstrosity together, the remains of the great Fortress begin to collapse. The remaining Nanites, rapidly wearing themselves out, willingly flip orders and break the now plummetting fortress even further into smaller pieces. The Entities this turn all gear up to smash the wreackage to pieces... only for the Red Phantoms to fly up on their own to protect them! Before, the laser or even the whole fortress would have been alone to overwhelm the Champion Shield. But as it is now?

The Red Phantoms easy return the structure into its component energies. Their purpose fulfilled, they return to their creator, job well done.

PERFECT VICTORY!

The first obstacle of the Godmodding War has been overcome!

-----------------------------------

EoTB Part 2:

The Godmodder claps slowly.

"Ah yes, multiple turns to dismantle a large superfortress, and you beat the timer. Even your Dialga wasn't necessary in the end, you were so efficient." His voice turns wickedly gleeful. "I admire your talent. Seeing the light of hope die in your eyes shall be satisfying. But, as they say... Business before pleasure."

With a twist, a tear in spacetime opens up. And out of the portal comes...

A dreaded Fear Sorcerer, known as the master of terror throughout all of the Planes that make up Reality! Having obtained the Rank of Monger, it knows every method known to man to inspire dread and witless panic in its victims - Jumpscares, Gaslighting, Actually good horror media, brainwashing magic, and 24/7 Sensationalized News Reports from all sides of the aisle!

With so many means at his disposal to frighten victims, it gets 3 'Scare' Actions a turn! Each one will either boost the Fear Gauge by 10 % for the Armed Forces, or it will stun an Entity for 1 Turn!

However... all of the AG Entities are still alive and kicking! They proceed to be proactive and gang up on the Fear Mage (Save for the Zergling Spawner, which celebrates finally having spawned a Zergling! It's so proud)! The Butterfree lands on his eyeballs, Yajirobe actually gets some fierce cuts in, the Scrap Dragon eats his belt buckle, The Holy Spirit makes Skitter's Bugs more holy terrors by boosting them to 1,000 ATK, and Dialga does a Roar of Time, only doing 5,000 Damage due to the Fear Monger having no timers to stop!

The Fear Monger, irritated at taking all of this damage, uses one Scare on Dialga, given its high attack, to stun it! However, it does a quick mental calculation and then uses its two other scares to add 20% more Fear to the Armed forces! If nothing is done, it can convert the Armed Forces to True Neutrality all on its own next turn!

...And then it blanches as it realizes that the Fortress Fighters not only survived the destruction of the Flying Fortress, but are still AG-Leaning and thus target it with priority precision, dealing another 105,00 more damage! It is only surviving by 10,250 HP!

Up next is the Neutrals! The newly Flipped Plasma Cannon Factory upticks its various bits and bobs, including the Superlaser! It has nothing to counter, but a Superlaser like this could still be devastating and almost guaranteed to oneshot anything short of a Boss this early on in the Godmodding War! The Tyranids nibble on some more foliage and some unfortunate insects! And Robocop, still on orders to destroy anything Fortress related, takes out one Fortress fighter and damages another while its Hydra Cannon loads up some more!

And finally, another thunderous crash against the Wall within the Wall causes it to lose 150,000 HP! The enemies outside just continue to grow...

The Godmoder, still so awesome that he has a bit of Action left over from the summoning, uses the portal to portal himself into the Ether Gear Spring stolen for him by Richard!

"Ahh.... Ether Springs... I know a few uses for one of its gears... Don't mind me, I think I'll stay in this pool."

He'll get an Ether Gear in 4 more turns if he's allowed to stay in the pool! Who knows what the monster can do with it!

------------------------------------------------------

System Update:

Alright! I finally sifted through the data for the Player powers! Holy toledo they've shifted quite a bit! I'll put more technical details in The Truth about Players, but for here...

For one thing, outside of certain special items, they function somewhat differently from how they used to. They're effectively a means of storing CP up. However, they do have an advantage - if you use them for any amount of their CP, they allow you to basically 'gamble' your Creativity bonus. If you succeed in being creative with the item, you get the full X3 Creativity bonus with your Action, Item CP expended included! However, if you fail to be sufficiently creative, then you do not get any partial bonuses - you'll just get the base CP value, bar none. Thankfully, you can spend as much or as little of the CP you put into the item as you like. Shenanigans using them doesn't actually count as using them due to not expending CP from them and, thus, just count as cool flavortext.

Attack shields still exist, and they cost 1 Action like they did in the last war. Any comments to the contrary is anti-eastasia propoganda! (Or, you know, and error on my part. Apologies.) They can be used on Entities and Players alike. However, those 'Regen Shields' can't be used on Players since now, if they take damage, they'll drop by 1 full Wound score regardless from the attack.

Entity Immunity is also now alignment based! If a side doesn't have 3 Entities, they're vulnerable to direct shenanigans and attacks from the enemy team! Due to how pure neutrals work, each pure neutral counts as their own self contained alignment and as such will need 3 entities under their control to receive the entity immunity. But since they don't so much as lean to one side or the other, they shouldn't be targeted by anyone anyway save the freak instance of a Hostile Entity.

But now we get to the real crux. The PvP that is now based on alignment rather than the old Neutraladder.

First off, CP and, as a result of items being like CP but flavored, are off limits when it comes to direct confrontations. This only counts for Free CP/standalone items, not projects like the Superlaser. It seems that messing with other Player's CP stores is still off limits, thankfully.

Second but related, CP projects, such as someone charging a Spirit Bomb with the rest of the team pitching in their energy, can be countered by throwing down your own CP project, such as a counter spirit bomb or by making something that will disrupt the technique or just distracting the charger a set CP amount of times. Basically, CP Project Counters must be equal to the CP of the opposing project. The Godmodder's CP will help beef up PG or even PG-Leaning Neutrals if he finds their counter worthy, and its unfixed nature will make the results always tense and difficult to tell how much the enemy will be away from succeeding in their goals...

Third, there is a measure known as Reactive countering. Reactive countering an enemy's Action, such as the earlier attempts to stop the mass AG entity destruction, depends on if it's a shenanigan or CP based. If it's CP based, then responding with equal or greater CP is sufficient, but the side that has less people involved will get a 'little guy' bonus. This is a result of the possibility that one side may simply have less CP to throw around, and the Player Power trying to even the odds through a 'little guy' multiplier. If it's a shenanigan, then there's no counters, but shenanigans are capable of failing on their own and outright anyway, making it a 'risky' means of trying to attack or mess with the opponent.

Fourth, since there's A)Entitiey Immunity, B) Attack shields and C) Reactive counters, Direct attacks can go through, but only one successful attack per target is allowed. Direct Attacks can be countered, however, up to until the next time the person being attacked posts - usually next turn, but maybe longer in an extended absence.

These rules will be added to the main rules list soon enough.

Player Responses:

Oh, I never posted. I run up to the Godmodder, and slap his neck with the paper. Why the neck? No reason.

The Godmodder flinches, but remembers that their armor covers that. With a shrug, they read the paper. Then they promptly burn it.

"Interesting."

The quiet watcher hands the Godmodder a small slip of paper. It is a Writ of Posession on the Ether spring he's been bathing in, dated for two hours earlier and signed by... The legal owner of the spring, who the Godmodder wasn't due to it being stolen. As per the Writ, the quiet watcher takes the entirety of the springwater, or springEther in this case, as per the national legal code 113.45.3, subsection E. The Godmodder is now sitting in a dry pool with no effects beyond feeling nice to sit in, and the Quiet watcher has the entire pool's worth of Ether in his storage, bottled up nicely for later use.

The Godmodder, feeling mildly annoyed, attempted to argue against the Writ, Leaving him embroiled in a legal court case that took one of his actions before it became apparent to everyone that the whole case wasn't going to ever be settled in his favor. He barely managed to settle for 20$, a standard spring with no unusual or abnormal effects or materials, and an agreement for Judge Judy to never get involved in a case involving him again.

The quiet watcher charged up another CP during the whole case, so he didn't mind paying the 20$.

CURRENT CP: 6

You do exceedingly well in the Legal case! However, considering that you are not, In fact, the legal owner of the SpringEther, you are immediately challenged on whether or not you should keep it. The Godmodder immediately attempts to twist this against you as any self respecting Godmodder would do...

3 Actions:

Hellmuth continues his use of pathos (and also logos) against the fearful Armed Forces. "See? The AGs destroyed the Flying Fortress! They didn't need your help to do that! And they don't need your help now! They'll kill the Fear Monger Sorcerer and smash the Necron Obelisk this turn unless the Godmodder pulls a hundred thousand hitpoints of blocking out of his sleeve. And even if he does, if he thinks you're going to attack then he'll just pull two hundred thousand hitpoints out of his sleeve instead. You won't be able to help the AG situation this coming turn even if you want to."

"And let's also talk about the PG forces outside the Wall within the Wall. They had 50K attack three turns ago, 100K attack two turns ago, and 150K attack this last turn. This coming turn, if the pattern holds, they'll have 200K attack. That's enough to kill every single one of you in just one turn. If you wait for the three more turns it'll take them to destroy the Wall within the Wall unaided, they'll have 300K attack if the pattern holds. That's enough to kill all of you and half the Fortress Fighters in one turn. With that amount of damage output, the AGs will lose almost all of their entities. But if you attack the Wall within the Wall, then it might be destroyed in only two turns. The faster you destroy the Wall within the Wall, the faster the AGs can start fighting the PG forces, the less of a disadvantage the AGs'll have, and the quicker you can get out of this war."

"Makes sense, doesn't it?"
This is a massively disheartening speech! They're mostly confused and feel helpless, making them feel vulnerable and not necessarily more fearful... until you mention that they can be wiped out in a single turn if the PG forces build up enough! This causes their fear meter to shoot up by 15%!

(x1)Paradox calls in some excellent Lawyers for the Legal Case on the Ether Spring, including a protégée of a protégée of some Phoenix Wright. He also makes sure that the Judge for the case is not being bribed or "persuaded" by the Godmodder to favour him. Also the jury, Paradox makes sure that they aren't Godmodder Constructs/paid by him/influenced by the Godmodder what so ever. This will be a Fair Trial.

(x1)Paradox destroys the Fear Monger Sorcerer, by summoning up the League of Teddy Bears and other stuffed toys. Their Charge and Duty, as described by their Power and the Old Spirit;Whimsy, is to stand guard against Nightmares and defend the Innocent, as the Fear Monger sorcerer knows only how to cast Fear, he's helpless against their Crack Strike Team.

(x1)Time for some Charge flavoured Tea...slurp.+1 CP
CP:3

Before the Godmodder can leverage a win on the case, he realizes that the jury and defense lawyer had been stuffed by the Players! Judge Judy, being a natural constant of reality, is not a Player construct but synergizes eerily well with such beings. The Godmodder quickly finds himself frustrated and vexed, especially when the protoge of the protoge of one of the many Phoenix Wrights created through Player Powers suggests that the Bottle of SpringEther could simply go to the Springs original owner's inventory.

The Godmodder, needless to say, is not happy being robbed of his Ether Spring by two Players and Judge Judy. However, getting the Godmodder to lose an Action is in some ways harder than damaging them, as Players from the previous war can attest, and in spite of your best efforts, he only loses the Ether Spring and not his Action. He mockingly applauds the effort.

Meanwhile, the crack strike team of the League of Teddy Bears comes in out of nowhere! The Fear Sorcerer hisses in anger, butbefore he can drive them off he takes 10,000 damage, putting him on death's doorstep practically!

You charge a CP by drinking tea! Classy.

I grant two attack shields to the obelisk. It becomes even more ominous......ly protected (2 actions)

Another action buffs the living metal of the obelisk, making it tougher

The Obelisk grows tougher by 10,000 HP and becomes surrounded by two ominously red shields of power!

I continue charging. Just what could all this power be used for?

Charge Pool 1: 4CP
Charge Pool 2: 11CP

That is mysterious and curious....

1. I order all the employees under my control to start repairing the Flying Fortress (Focus Action X2)
2. I charge a Cp for the repairing of the Flying Fortress

Uwah!? That thing is completely and utterly totaled! But then again, you do know how it was structured...

It seems that there'll be a project for recreating it! You give out the orders as a CP of power is invested in progressing it! It's going to be very costly though...

"I'm trying my hardest my guy. Sooner or later, you'll say yes. Then that's when I'll strike."

1. I take out a pc and boot it up, this will take a while so I might as well get confortable
2. I charge 2 CP

You creates a PC! It'll act as a 1 CP item until further notice. You charge 2 CP while you're waiting for it to boot up.

Ultimo Durana CP: 6 - 6

9 ACTION FOCUS - IMPROVE THE CAMP!: I upgrade the camp with an Attack Shield Generator! Every turn, it now creates an attack shield or two!

The draw upon Ultimo Durana's power is... uncreative! Instead of a chance at getting 2 Attack Shields per turn, the Camp can only get 1 Attack Shield per turn! The other 4 CP are used for the generator itself, giving it 40,000 HP!

Action 1:
"Well, I don't know what an Ether Gear is, but I'm guessing it'll be pretty bad if the godmodder gets his hands on one, so why don't we stop that from happening?"

I conjure an arc staff and toss it into the ether spring. While it's electrified, I fly through the air like a missile and slam into the godmodder with an electrified fist, hitting with meteoric force. I then blink away from the spring, leaving several pounds of C4 behind me. I detonate them with an RPG-7 for extra explosion points.

Action 2:
"I'm not scared of you!" Victor says, pointing at the fear monger sorcerer.

He proves his point by rushing up to him and uppercutting him in the jaw. While he's reeling, Victor attaches an undermounted shotgun to his rifle and blasts him right in the chest, sending him to the ground. Before he can get up, Victor stomps his head into the dirt, then concludes his attack by strapping on some spiked elbow pads and elbow dropping him in the mouth.

Action 3:
I store 1 CP.

CP: 7

Due to the Ether Spring debacle already being wrapped up, the initial electricfying does nothing! The C4 + RPG-7 combo racks up an insane amount of Explosion Points! The total amounts to...

7,777 Explosion Points! LUCKY~! The Godmodder is caught off guard by the luck and takes a point of damage!

As for the Fearmonger... FATALITY! Fearmonger destroyed!

And it ends.

The Godmodder watches the eyes widen. He sighs.

"Look, I'm going to level with you - if you keep making those eyes bigger, I'm going to destroy them like I destroyed your nose and mouth. Now, not having a nose or mouth is inconvenient, but all Godmodders get basic training on how to cope with sudden nose and mouth loss. so I know how surprisinglyeasy it is to cope without. But the loss of your eyes... well, at that point you're just rapidly losing face, which is not only difficult without blind fighting training, but also prevents you from being able to be taken seriously or from doing much of anything in any Chinese themed planes - they take matters of Face seriously, you know."

A beat passes. The Godmodder coughs.

"Just a warning."

Ignoring that bad joke, you add another CP to your figurine! ...should I be listing it as an item? Yeah, I think it counts under the rules data I analyzed...

Morpheus, meanwhile, accepts the dreams and gives a small 'thanks' for them. Due to his tight schedule, he only gives a nod instead of a proper goodbye, and both leave the dream at the same time, leaving it barren of anything interesting or sidequesty at the moment.

FOCUS: I lay a mine layer field next to the Wall within the Wall. It will continuously accumulate mines, to detonate when the PG entities beyond the wall break through and attempt to cross it.

You attempt to do so only to find you're two CP worth of Mines short from making it self replicating! Instead you just summon 3 CP worth of mines, which is still not bad.

Well, Dialga wasn't much help—special failsafe that he was. Looking up at the gigantic beast, I immediately whistle, the beast arriving staggered by fear, but still ready for business. "Good job, Dialga! You were very brave back there, and did a great job against the fortress back there." While Dialga looks somewhat doubtful, I mean every word.

"I need your help, though. You know what happened to the ether pool, right?" Dialga looks over, and nods his head. "See if you can get to the Godmodder and freeze the pool's progress." I raise my hand, testing my dimensional magic to see if I can make the magical leap. Tell me when you're ready, and I can transport you into optimum position."

For the time being... I fly to one side of the Fear Monger, putting him directly between me and the Scrap Dragon. Whistling with one hand, I put out the other, and immediately summon... A belt buckle made from enchanted silver.

The dragon immediately drops to the ground, eyes focused on the enticing treat. "You want it? You want it, boy?" I playfully swish the piece left and right, the dragon's head whipping back and forth as its haunches give a sprightly wiggle.

"Good boy... Nooow gofetch!" I disapparrated in the nick of time, the Fear Monger gets bowled over by several tons of ecstatically joyful dragon, studiously ignoring him in favor of the rare treat. As the dragon blissfully crunches down on the metal, it infuses him with Radiant magic, rendering him—and any AG or AG-leaning entities around him—immune to fear.

"Aw, come on!" I call to Eternities, reapparating between him and the squad of soldiers, "You're forgetting one teensy thing. The troops in this fight? They don't have to be alone. See Dialga over there?" I nod. "He started out with a full six, count'em, six points needed to activate Roar of Time, and now he can do it every other turn. The Scrap Dragon?" I nod to the munching beast ambling over. "He's started off weak too, but he isn't gonna stay that way."

"They may be weak now, but that doesn't mean they can't grow. May be scared now, but they have a whole team backing them up—patchwork, maybe, dysfunctional, yes, but ready fight with every inch and scrap of determination they've got until your dark master is put down."

An Aura of Combat Wisdom surrounds them. Sharpening their reflexes, increasing their Fortitude, healing their wounds if it can.

"Whether they stay and help fight the Fearmonger, or help us break down the Wall, I'd support one of our own any day. But what I won't ever let happen is let them be broken down by manipulative scoundrels like you!"

Any CP I have left gets banked, as I stand between the troops afflicted by Fear, and the Fearmonger by another name.

Sadly, the aura is only enough to stay contained to the Scrap Dragon, but considering the Fear Monger has been destroyed, that probably won't be a problem for a while.

The Combat Aura, on the other hand, takes up both Actions you had left, but improves the Scrap Dragon by 10,000 HP and makes the Roar of Time able to fire off every turn due to the reflex sharpening!

The Armed Forces, sadly, are too rattled with fear to catch your declaration of standing by them! Still, you get betweent hem and Hellmuth all the same!

Yet another player appears. She seems to know where she is, and she smirks. I have a plan for this new war game. But first I must make preparations. I uses all my actions to create something. Dimensional enegys flash a brilant blue as they coholes on a single point in space. Cannon and logic alike screech in a chorus of agony as I make realty my bitch. I conduct reality with the grace of a Batoven on crack-cocaine. And the result of all this insanity is a box of chocolates. But these aren't any ordinary chocolates. These chocolates are reality warping. Whatever someone bites into them canon or reality is warped in a new way. And every time someone eats one of the chocolates a new one will appear in the box. [There are 20 possible results of eating a chocolate. I determine the result of them by rolling a D20. If GM sama wants to know the possible results I will DM them to him] and to finish my masterpiece I take out a sticky note, write Take one <3 on it and put it on the lid of the box

Ahahahaha- no. The Chocolates are NOWHERE near powerful enough to warp 'canon' - I'm not even sure if it's possible to do so with CP or Actions, considering how Player Powers work! You'd need the power of an entire war's worth of energy to even believe there's a chance of achieving that kind of power!

That being said, random effect chocolates are not out of the question. I will need to see this intended list of yours for them, though, so I can edit the list of effects as needed to better match the reality of what is possible. Additionally I will be 'Rolling the D20' since my terminal's systems come with a built in means of verifying the validity of said rolls.

"Oh sorry for falling out of the sky like that, I swear this doesn't usually happen. Now I'm sure you're wondering Why I've decided to fall before you, you may assume that I want to prevent you from destroying the wall or changing your alignment. You'd assume wrong though. It doesn't matter to me if you choose to destroy the wall, hell the might even be the correct choice honestly. But what I do care about is that you're being influenced to make that decision by some arbitrary Fear Meter! Its just not right! So I have come to return your individuality."
"So don't fear, I wont ask anything of you, just view this as a gift for helping us with that fortress"

In order to raise their morale and lower fear I pay two actions to set up a live concert for them to enjoy. Unfortunately I couldn't get the most popular artists, I was only able to afford Knock-off singers like CDCA and King.

It still sleeps
One CP is charged
CP = 4

That ominous thing sleeping should probably stay asleep. I hope it has nice dreams though!

Despite being filled with Knock-off singers, the Armed Forces are no longer as distressed - though they are a bit puzzled by the presence of an impromptu concert happening in a battlefield. -15% from the Fear Meter!

((/rpnull))

Augustine Hellmuth laughs. "Seriously? I'm actually taking the moral high ground here? Are you kidding me?"

Hellmuth laughs. "They're going to get stronger? Are you sure? Do you swear to give them self-upgrading powers and turn them into Plastic Army Men 2: Not Made Of Plastic? I'm saying that they won't survive long enough to get stronger. The PG forces will kill them all unless they leave the battlefield. And nice job completely ignoring my arguments on how destroying the Wall within the Wall is a good thing for you, the AGs."

Hellmuth balls his fists, and speaks angrily. "You don't say one word against my arguments, and instead try to distract the Armed Forces by going off on a tangent about the power of friendship. And yet you have the gall to call me a manipulative scoundrel."

Hellmuth rolls his eyes. "The Fear Meter is descriptive, not prescriptive. It's not a mind control device that sets their fear to 70%, it's a fear level scanner that reports their fear level, which happens to be 70%. And you're one to talk about individuality. I, a pro-fear Player, use logical arguments to further my position - that them attacking the Wall within the Wall will be good for both them, specifically, and the AG side in general. You, an anti-fear Player, on the other hand, use a concert to mind control them into being less cautious, more reckless, less fearful. Should I have called it the Best Decision Opinion Meter instead? Would that make you happy?"

Hellmuth points at Splashcat. "You! Anti-Godmodder! Debate me, next round! Or even this round! Let's get to the bottom of this!"
"Speaking of ignoring things, what did I say about supporting them? I don't care if they attack the Fearmonger, or the wall." I adjust myself, doing my best to draw in extra energy to store. "But stooping to use of a fear gun to make them do what you want? If your position was so unswervingly solid, why would you need to use it in the first place?"

I look him directly in the eye. "And what proof do they have they'll be spared if they finally get to flee? What's to say the Godmodder, or any of his goons, won't shoot at their retreating backs to ensure they won't change their minds and return?"

No need to tell this guy about any buffs I had in store. He'd find out soon enough just what they were.

Not a ray gun, but a scanner? A morale-raising concert being the real mind control device? One had to wonder what Eskimobill1919 's Frog of Truth had to say about this.
Zaircon, realizing that everyone is being proactive and doing everything he could be doing, decides to stay back and charge up.

FOCUS: He does just that.

==========================================================================
Meanwhile....

"Egads! It is just as I worried!"

The two ex-time travelers were staring up at the giant wall that surrounded the Battlefield.

"The Ship was right here! This wall must have knocked it away! This must've been The Godmodder's doing!"

"Yeah, probably had to do with that giant floating tower."

"And now it could b- did you say giant floating tower?"

A pause.

"Oh! Right! There was a tower with a giant cannon aimed at the Battlefield. Don't worry, it was destroyed."

"You- you didn't think to tell me!? It could have killed us!"

"You didn't ask."

"I didn't know!!"

The two suddenly hear scraping sounds coming from beyond the wall. Whatever was beyond the wall really wanted to get in.

"Less arguin' more searchin'!"

"I very much agree!"

And thus, the two began crawling on the ground, trying to search for the Ship.

As the two search for the ship... they hear a familiar clunk. The kind of clunk that could only come from something being a little less than gentle with your ship.

On the other side of the Wall. Uh oh.

Hellmuth laughs again. "You say "speaking of ignoring things", yet you continue to ignore my argument as to why attacking the Wall within the Wall is a good idea. Let me just repeat it: Every turn, an extra 50,000 Attack has been added to the Godmodder's forces outside. If you just sit and wait, you're allowing those forces to build up. And considering the Godmodder, I doubt that you AGs will be able to build up faster. The sooner the Wall within the Wall is destroyed, the less of an entity disadvantage you, the AGs, have. Evidence that they'll be spared? Attacking the other AG forces - the ones that aren't running away - would be a better idea for the PG forces, and they aren't dumb. I may not have proof that they'll be spared, but consider the alternative. This is just the beginning of the war. If the Armed Forces stick around, they'll die one way or the other."

Hellmuth rolls his eyes again. "The F.A.Z.E.R. is a fear-inducing ray gun. The Fear Meter is a fear scanner. They're different things. Do you know why I used the F.A.Z.E.R.? Because the OP Scale doesn't allow Players to convince entities to defect just by arguing that their side is morally better; they have to use Player Power. Because entities, in my experience, are mindlessly loyal to their side and refuse to accept even sound advice from the opposing side, barring shenanigans such as this. And guess what, yes, the morale-raising concert is the real mind control. I raise the Fear Meter because I have logical arguments on why they should be afraid, using those logical arguments, and you lower the Fear Meter because fear is bad, using a concert. I don't know about you, but I find logical arguments more convincing than a concert. And let's talk about individuality some more. You said, if I recall, that they're being influenced and you're returning their individuality. Well, how about this? Maybe the Fear Meter gets lowered all the way to 0%. I have a strange suspicion that if that happens, they will continue to fight for the AGs until they die. Do you want them to lay down their lives for you, ye immortal deity? Or perhaps they actually will have individuality, and they'll use it to decide if my logical arguments make sense."

The Armed Forces listen intently, now that they aren't so frantic. Mind Control Concerts? Fear lasers? Truly, Godmodding Wars are as insane as the footage they saw back before they enlisted!

Am I allowed to submit myself to the Lord Godmodder?

"Yes." Says the Godmodder promptly.

ES teleports back to his car- Ah, it's been a long time since movement has been that easy- and quickly activates its integrated weapons systems. After some unfolding, a pair of short range missiles blast off and target a pair of Entities: this time, instead of going after any of the player made and possibly living ones, they target two of the Fortress fighters. Some relakshun skrappin' to get them off the field is a nice break as he formulates his next plan, and he starts by charging up 2 CP.

KABOOM! The missles directly hit! You charge 2 CP as the Fortress fighters crash and burn.

The Thing lets out a relieved sigh, allowing his state to return to his vaguely described mode of dress from before the whole Fortress fiasco. It was good to see the first challenge surpassed so successfully...but the situation with the Armed Forces has to be dealt wi-huh, other AG's had already begun handling it.

The fact nearly brought a smile to it's face. True they weren't exactly handling the debate...fantastically, but they were trying, and AG's taking a proactive role in these sorts of issues was encouraging to see. But, a cause it personally didn't have time to lend aid to, instead merely settling for shifting to their position.

"Greetings, AG's, PG, Armed Forces." It greets, suddenly standing among them like it'd always been there. "Your debate here is encouraging to see, it's great that you lot care, truly. But if I may make a comment? No Power, merely an inquiry." The Thing reassures. "...Why would taking the Wall down be a good thing for you PG's? After all, that's the only reason you traitorous lot would seek to veil your actions behind the guise of debate and 'what's good for an Entity'." It visibly rolls it's [eyes?}] at that last portion. "Well and truly, the PG's are a mighty force of altruism, hail the conquering heroes! Lackeys of he who seeks to subjugate reality!" It chuckles, voice dripping with sarcasm.

It clears it's throat, ridding itself of the brief bought of laughter. "Merely wanted to proposition that for your debate, consider this your 'Phone a Friend' moment." The thing gives a polite nod to the AG's. "Now sorry to talk at you lot and run, but I have business to attend to." It taps the [Watch?] on it's wrist reverently. "The War waits for no Player."

With that it's gone, as if it simply had never been there.

Focus!+3 CP!

The Thing now is next to the wall, hanging in the air on the whims of Power, it releases a disappointed sigh as it listens to the creatures on the outside bashing their way into the Wall. Before setting it's [Mouth?] in a determined line, forcing what Power it has for this turn through it's arm.

The Power crackles like electricity as it runs up to the tip of it's pointer finger...the energy coalescing into a tiny mote of energy, the color shifting from it's light orange to a red color.

It properly extends it's pointer finger, before raising it's arm high above it's head. The crackling Power running up it's arm with twice the ferocity as it begins forcing in it's charged Power as well, the Mote of energy growing with every Charge forced into it. Stopping as it finally runs out of CP at the size of a baseball.

It raises it's voice, seemingly frozen in that poze. "Attention AG's and interested Neutrals!" it's voice carries over the battlefield, spoken like it was standing everywhere at once. "The Wall within the Wall cannot be allowed to fall, the Godmodder wishes it, and so such occurring is assured to be a step backwards for our cause! Whether he believes it because we could output enough healing to maintain the wall indefinitely, if he wishes to wear away at us with the constant assault from outside, if it's merely funny to him, or if there's some other factor. It doesn't matter, the Godmodder wants it, so in my humble opinion it should be bitterly opposed."

Suddenly, copies of itself much like that of the Red Phantom appear throughout the Battlefield, though these are mere mirages. Their purpose is to show AG's and Neutrals what it's doing clearly to make a point. "I've begun a 'Spirit Bomb', I hope that with the escalation as it stands that the Wall will maintain it's HP long enough for me to get a satisfactory charge into this little project, but there is no guarantee. If you can spare CP for this, or aid the wall in other ways, I'd be grateful."

It gives a thumbs up to fellow AG's, and even a few Neutrals, before the images fade.

---------

It sighs, focusing on the wall in front of it and maintaining it's new "project", it's going to have to hold this pose for a while, isn't it?

Your words also give the Armed forces some food for thought...

Action 1-3: I charge 3 CP
3 CP.

the cloaked man was miracolously unharmedby the crashing fortress because his cloak had been enchanted with protective, well, enchantments. Focus -3cp: he takes out a phone, opens pesterchum and starts typing.
IncalculableSorcerer [IS] began pestering ectoBiologist [eB] at whenever this is O. Clock
[IS] John it appears that there IS a problem.
[eB] could you please elaborate
[p][IS] there seems to be a new godmodder[/p]
[eB] How is that possible, the cycle of godmodders was broken
[IS] Indeed it was, but it appears the cycle IS not all there IS to the story
[eB] and you want me to help you?
[IS] yes
[eB] Hmmm... Aha, I think I know how I can help
[eB]
stoped pestering [IS]
Suddenly john egbert appears in a flash of blue light and takes something that looks suspiciously like a shiekah slate but he insits IS actualy an aegis tablet and hands it to the man, stating use the app and you could steal the soul orb. then he dissapears in another flash of light.

Item get! aegis tablet, it IS literaly just a shiekah slate but with pesterchum and the metaverse navigator app somehow downloaded onto it.

...what the fresh heck is this incomrpehensible data? Huh? What? I am so confused.

6 CP of Aegis Tablet created! Wait, Metaverse Nav?

!!! It has activated!

There's someone with a Palace here!? Smells like a potential sidequest-

"How about no."

The Godmodder unleashes a hectic virus! It takes the form of a rain of darkness, which your Aegis Tablet accidentally picks up as a legit download! It corrupts the Meta Nav App, rendering it useless! It seems that this sidequest was cancelled before it began! Probably for the best - it's still rather early on, and the Godmodder seems like the type to have a nasty, Kaizo unfair dungeon.

At least Pesterchum and the other Sheikah Slate Apps are still functional! I can think of a few good setups that the Aegis Tablet could pull off...

>FOCUS: I pull myself out of some rubble, having been blasted out of the Fortress rather violently. Deciding to take a moment to get my bearings, I decide to try this "charging" thing and charge 3 CP.

CURRENT CP: 3
I charge all my CP (I have 6 now)
Al, after a looking around on my previous posts, I have 6 CP, as when I left the Molemen I had 3 prior to that, and charged all Actions when I did leave. So this should be right, if not I'll just edit it with your help.
_____________

Once again above ground, I look around for a suitable spot to start building up my Swarm.

There were a few, but I needed more than just a good location.

It needed a foundation.

I carefully plunged my hand into my sternum with a wet "squelch", hot blood coated my fingers as I dug through my own spongy flesh to my spine.

When my hand reached it, I wrapped my hand around it and pulled it out with sickening cracking and crunching sounds as it came away from my body.

The nerves wrapped around my previous spine pulsed and throbbed as blood poured off it.

With care and caution, I start manipulating the flesh and bone, bending and shaping it into a loose pod like structure.

Three spires of spinal bone arched over it, it's base a mixture of muscle, carapace, bone and nervous tissue. In the center, on top of the pond was a sphincter like orifice that seemed fairly inactive.

With a spark of bio-electricity that jumped from my finger to the pod, it came to life, the spires of bone arced with veridIan energy.

Carefully I set the pod down into the ground, where it's base started forming red fleshy tendrils thar dug into the ground like roots.

The sphincter opened up revealing a slowly growing pool of green bio-plasma.

________

All 3 Actions and 5 CP are used to create a CP generator known as the Bio-Plasma Generator.

Reserve CP: 1

You create the Bio Plasma Generator!

...What exactly does it do, aside from produce Bio Plasma? Some exact details of its function would be nice!

I pat Alastair and give him a hug. Poor thing works far too hard and is too sweet to have to deal with shenanigans. And that's pretty much it. 3 actions giving an adorably sweet person a hug.

Oh and I act all high and mighty and make vague allusions to foreboding future events that I shall cause as an agent of chaos with a free action. Have to make some sort of an entrance after all. ~

Alastair is not here right now, but strange cosmic forces conspire to give you an item from the quantum foam! You've got a 3 CP item in the form of a thank you letter! Using a Simple Thank You letter like this is no doubt tricky, but it'd sure to be rewarding! At the very least, even used uncreatively you still get your CP back, so all in all it's still rather nice.

Also, your position as a Neutral is noted!

I notice Quastiel patting a mixture of thin air and breaking the planar boundary into the Arbiter Plane, and decide to intervene.
Torix - Um, Quastiel? Alastair isn't here.
Torix - He's fighting a different Godmodder over in the Himalayas.
Torix - Also, if you're attempting to pat the Arbiter, that's... not... how it works.
Torix - We're on a different plane. The Arbiter running this fight isn't even Alastair, it's...

I pause for a moment.
Torix - Actually, what is the other Arbiter? It's definitely not human.
Torix - While we're at it, what's their name anyways? Do they have a name?

I'm glad to see that this worked out okay, and materialize an orange sticky note with a thumbs up on it nearby the other Arbiter. Let's keep up the good work!

Anyways... actual action time. That Obelisk seems like it could be a problem... I wonder if I could destroy it in one turn.
Let's try it!

[Action 1 + 1 CP]
A simple multiattack from a fireball and a quick lightning bolt get rid of the two attack shields around the Necron Obelisk put up by Gnich this turn. It's nice, quick, and easy.

[Action 2]
I quickly redefine the Magnetic Field Rejector. Whipping out in improbable amount of workspace tools around me, a small bit of tinkering redefines the gun into the Reality Rejector - now capable of disabling any natural law or force! This will serve me nicely.

[Action 3, Reality Rejector(1 CP)]
Alright. Doing some quick calculations, the Necron Obelisk should have a maximum of 40,000 HP this turn, assuming things go well. This means that a maxed Creativity Bonus from the Reality Rejector should do the trick rather nicely... so I just have to be creative!

That being said, I begin by walking up to... let's say roughly 20 feet away from the Obelisk .Looks nice, a bit menacing, and glowing with necromantic energies to summon those Necron Warriors here in a few minutes. The Reality Rejector will get rid of any natural law placed before it... so therefore, I just have to remove the law of physics that actually allows this thing to exist! Removing Player Power is incredibly risky, but I could probably get by through simply removing the laws governing... oh, let's say the structure's integrity.

We can do this by simply removing the law of physics that repels atoms from one another, and allowing them to phase through each other. I line up my sight... and fire. This should cause enough chaos to take care of things - and indeed it will. As atoms collide and corrupt the physics of reality within the localized area, the structure begins to collapse inwards on itself due to atoms literally not being repelled by other atoms. The entirety of the structure begins to topple over as more shots from the gun are fired, and the localized area becomes less and less localized.

That's not even the bad part. As the now essentially corrupted area of the obelisk begins to topple, atoms are being pushed into each other, causing the obelisk to topple. I turn off the cones of rejection just about when it hits the ground - and re-enable kinetic theory, which states that all collisons in atomic levels are perfectly elastic. The Obelisk, attempting to right itself in the laws of Reality, becomes extremely elastic, and bounces right back up to it's surface position a bit too fast. A massive crack resounds through the battlefield as the obelisk tears itself in half, with the upper half's momentum carrying it all the way to Gnich. It crashes and is reduced to rubble in front of him, rendering the lower half useless and the entity effectively destroyed.

Thanks, Hungry Visitor.

Current CP - 5

Hmm. that first attack seems like it kinda cheeses some rules so-

Actually, it'd be valid if the old 'Spend 1 CP to get a fourth Action' rule applied. Why isn't that rule in place?

....

Um.

Oh.

My apologies. I seem to have, erm. Sat on a button that turned that feature off.

My bad?

Ahem.

At any rate, using your 1 CP Action and your first Action, you blow away the Attack shields! Then, using some free action chicanery and by adding a CP, you turn your already hilariously lethal device into a nightmarish one!

Now, let's turn to this incredibly specific 'creative use of physics erasing items' algortihm I just noticed on my desktop!

....

It's good! -60,000 damage due to the Action + Rejector use! The Obelisk, I'm 'sad' to say is toast!

===================================================================================================================

End of Turn Battle (EoTB):

The Godmodder carefully surveys the field, analyzing the situation -

And now he's shaking a can of spray paint. Alright. He's shaking it harder and harder. Wait, he's stopped shaking it, but the can is still wiggling about like a weasel in tube.

With a simple toss, the Godmodder throws the spray paint can toward the remaining healthy fortress fighters! When it violently explodes, half of the fighters are colored in Godmodder blue! The Fortress Fighters begin to attack their own comrades, with their comrades offering return fire! By the time they're done fighting, the Godmodder tosses another overly shaken can at them! This one is full of soda, so when it explodes, it gets into the exposed circuitry and destroys the whole lot! The only survivor is the lone Fortress Fighter that was already wounded, which -

Which is promptly gunned down by Robocop. RIP. The Fortress Fighters are completely gone!

The Godmodder then ponders his next move. Thinking things through, he yoinks GoldenHero's Attack Shield Generator! However he ov erclocks it in the process, all int he name of summoning...

A Barrier Maiden! With her appearance and the previous theft, the Godmodder now has TWO sources of Attack Shielding! The Barrier Maiden's ability will allow her to give any PG or PG-Leaning Neutral Entity a Regen Shield, while the Attack Shield Generator will give attack shields to whoever the Godmoder deems worthy of having one.

Which is, naturally, himself. How egotistical! Thankfully the overclocking means that it won't be able to generate a shield this turn, so there's a window of opportunity to swipe or snipe it!

Naturally, since the Barrier Maiden is the only PG/PG-Leaning Entity on the field, the AG entities gang up on her! She cries helplessly as they all pummel her like a lynch mob, dealing 18,500 damage!

However, the Frog of Truth, invoked earlier during the RP debate, has been using its wisdom and power to deliberate. The Armed Forces wait with bated breath for its judgement.

"....RIBBIT!"

The Frog of Truth has spoken in favor of the AGs! The Armed Forces have their Fear Meter go down by 10% on account of thought provoking and entertainingly tense roleplaying! And also because the Frog of Truth has no traditional attack options.

Everything tics up, including the Tyranid Ripper Swarm, which is now working on eating a nearby tree!

The Barrier Maiden invokes her power to create a Regen Shield for herself, making the first attack on her deal 25% less damage! It looks like she could be a problem if she's allowed to continue!

The PG monsters outside of the Wall within the Wall grow in power by 50,000 ATK and deal 200,000 Damage! Looks like in two turns the Wall within the Wall will fall if something isn't done one way or another!
