Emerald orders the White Mage to heal the Medic (using Cure), and the Medic to attack the Compli-o-nater. Again

Emerald glares at Ashes, then at the field effect. "You know, doing things like that is a good way to get yourself targeted by the rest of everyone who doesn't want their precious entities to die. Which happens to include me, since Medic over there needs to keep living until he can use Self-Surgery." He briefly alters the effect of the energy he's been charging towards something more...offensive.
"I was planning on using this to summon an entity, but you've proved that you're a nuisance, you and the Compli-o-nater. Luckily for said machine, it's dead, so I'll just kill your friend."
Emerald focuses the energy from his 15 charge into his lamp, which glows a greenish red, and he points it so that Ashes lines up with the Embers
"To quote a green slug man... SPECIAL BEAM CANNON" With that, a brilliant spiral energy beam fires out of the lamp, striking Ashes. Overkill damage goes to Embers

Seeing as people are trying to kill EMBERS and ASHES, I decide to use these charges early, and having them both dedicated to the same purpose, healing my entities. The ever growing complex forms of the two charges I had, suddenly start becoming more simple, eventually just being pure energy, instead of a complex construction to create a creature or attack. The energy then goes into EMBERS and ASHES, sealing their wounds, by giving them the raw energy to do so. I then ask the Godmodder if I can move them behind the fortress, and if not, to make something that they will focus on more. Because I will be DAMNED if ASHES and EMBERS die this soon. I also scan Inscruta . . . again.

EMBERS: 23,000/100,100 = A recreation of HATRED's form, made of embers with many gaps in between them, it sounds more mournful than anything. It focuses on reducing any damage on it's way by not attacking.

Memories of Fire: Deals 20,000 damage to one entity. ||| Twin Memoriam: Deals 10,000 damage to two entities. ||| Flames of the Predecessor: 1/3 Deals 25,000 to one entity. It tries to reduce any damage it takes this turn.

Memory of Desolation: 4/5 deals 7,500 to all AG entities, or as many as possible.

ASHES: 47,000/100,000 = A strange cloud of ash, present over the whole field, it's main body seems to be a crude tower, it seems to be lacking it's original function.

Memories of Barren Earth: Terrain Change-The terrain is changed to ashen wastes. All AG entities take 2,000 damage a turn. ||| Ash in our eyes: All AG entities have a 10% chance to miss an attack.

Memories of The One Who was of Fire: 4/5 The effects of Barren Earth are tripled.

General Action: Metal Gear Godmodder

I sneak aboard the Mobile Fortress, bypassing its defenses. I stealthily make my way to the artillery battery, evading the attention of the archer contingent and garrisoned soldiers on my route. Soon, I reach my target, and with a cry of "SURPRISE, ASSHOLES!" I leap from hiding and fall upon the artillery crew, getting into a massive brawl.

When I'm done, the artillery crew is relatively unharmed, but every last one of them is tightly bound and gagged, preventing them from doing anything until the turn after someone rescues them. Even if the very next poster unties them, they will be unable to participate in this turn's End of Turn Battle.

An Ancient Evil: Least Avatar of Val'Elzathor

Only now, with the first pillar destroyed, could I muster enough Charge to call forth the barest shade of my god Val'Elzathor. Still, even with such a charge, I would need to spend much effort to bring my patron's will to this plane. Obviously, a massive amount of blood sacrifice would be needed, and even more frustratingly, there was the issue known as the Maelstrom. For simply calling forth enough power to fuel a supernatural effect, a ritual circle would suffice, but to summon an Avatar I would need to physically rip a hole in reality leading to the dimension where Val'Elzathor resided.

This would require a setup far more elaborate than any mere ritual circle could possibly be, both to rapidly acquire the necessary sacrificial power, and to form the portal.

The design that took shape was something I began calling the Summoning Engine almost immediately. In the center was a circular portal frame, surrounded by a quartet of Dimensional Tuning Spires, and the whole thing was powered by a grand total of eighteen specially-designed Sacrifice Pistons, nine to a side.
As soon as the device was constructed, I climbed into the device's control room, from which I would be able to operate the entire horrible ritual I was about to conduct. There were only five features to this room of any note; two switches, a button, and a pair of indicator lights. Still, that's all I would need as I prepared to call forth the merest fraction of Val'Elzathor's power.
With a muttered prayer to the Dark God, I walked over to the first lever, and switched it to the on position. Off to the sides of the Summoning Engine, the Sacrifice Pistons churned to life, as the cattle streamed into the death machine by the thousand.
The bovine creatures, of course, had no idea what was in store for them. They were funneled down the chutes leading to the Sacrifice Pistons in huge numbers, being fed into the crusher several at a time.
The crushers themselves were an interesting design, operating based on command blocks. At the top of each piston, a large mass of iron was summoned, before it fell, smashing the hapless sacrifices below.
At the bottom, the large chunk of metal was removed, and the resulting cattle-mash was fed through a specialized filter that sucked every last iota of supernatural power from the sacrifice, storing it in magitech capacitors beneath the floor.
In total 10,368 cows were slaughtered to power the device, their spiritual essence quickly being put to work. One by one, each piston completed its cycle, with the parts of the soul capacitors visible from above ground glowing with the power stored within them.
In the command center, the first indicator light turned on, as the required number of sacrifices had been fed into the machine. I nodded to myself, that meant it was time for stage two; priming the dimensional barrier to allow the portal to the maelstrom to be formed with minimal issues. This is also when I would need to start handling my part of the load, as the ritual could not be entirely mechanized. No, I had a role to play here, and as I prepared for it, I drank a glass of water to ensure my voice wouldn't crap out on me.
I positioned myself in front of the next lever, pulling it as I began to chant

"Val'Elzathor, god within the Maelstrom!"

"Val'Elzathor, god of all that destroys!"

"Val'Elzathor, god of DARKNESS!"

"Val'Elzathor, god of proactive defense of those you see fit!"

Deep within the machine, power began to be routed to the quartet of Tuning Spires.

"Val'Elzathor, I beseech you to hear my plea, there are those who would bring harm to your followers in the service of this Godmodder, and I request your help destroying them utterly!"

I continued my chant, as massive bolts of lightning erupted from the tips of each spire, slowly but surely weakening the barrier that lay between planes
"My lord of ultimate darkness, I beseech you to send an Avatar powerful enough to render my enemies incapable of continued resistance! Please, send an aspect of yourself to my aid!"

At that very moment, the second indicator light blinked on. The portal was ready to be opened.
"Val'Elzathor, if you can hear my plea, please send me a message!"

With that, I slammed my fist down on the button to ignite the portal, as Val'Elzathor speaks directly into my mind "I hear you, mortal. I shall fashion an Avatar out of the power you have sent to me , then send it through the portal."
While Val'Elzathor was speaking, the portal arch filled with a distinct purple haze as it powered up. This was only the preliminary phase of it opening, however; when it was fully open, I would know.

My god continued to speak to me, saying "By the way, I really have to give you some style points for the Summoning Engine, the thing looks absolutely metal."

Looking out the window at my machine, I couldn't help but agree, saying "I'm glad you like it. Is there anything you would like to tell me of regarding your Avatar?"
Val'Elzathor replied "Yes. At the start, I am sending you the barest fraction of my power, but the longer my Avatar lives, the more of my power will be invested in it. I want a chance to wring the neck of that upstart Godmodder personally."

At that exact moment, the portal finished establishing a connection to the Maelstrom, streamers of blue and white energy erupting from the frame as the barriers between dimensions were ripped asunder.

As this happened, I asked my patron "Val'Elzathor, you won't send through enough to be truly killed should your Avatar fall, will you?"
Val'Elzathor, for his part, replied "No, I will not. For starters I don't want to completely destroy that plane you are currently on, and the most powerful Avatar it can support before reality starts coming apart at the seams barely measures up to 2% of my total power. Even if everything goes to shit, I will survive."
The dark god, then adds "I can see the portal now, my avatar is coming through."
Soon, a figure strides through the portal, shrouded in dark malignant energy. The catlike ears atop their head perk up as they step through and stretch their wings, as they say "Oh, it is so nice to have a material presence again. Now, what should I kill first?"
With that, the Least Avatar of Val'Elzathor takes note of the Mobile Fortress and notes "That looks rather important. Let's kill it."

The Avatar's hand lashes out like a lightning bolt, sending a bolt of malignant energy to impact on the fortress, contorting it and rending gashes into its form, much like what happened to the necromancers subject to the Voodoocordion's music.
Least Avatar of Val'Elzathor
Every three rounds that the Least Avatar of Val'Elzathor remains alive, it evolves to a new form. Each time this happens, it gets a stat boost, a partial heal equal to twice the amount its max HP goes up, a new special ability, and a name update. Below is a list of each level, what special ability it gains at that level, and what its name changes to.

1: Least Avatar of Val'Elzathor |No New Abilities | Starting Level
2: Lesser Avatar of Val'Elzathor | Regen 10% of max HP
3: Minor Avatar of Val'Elzathor | Attack Reflect
4: Avatar of Val'Elzathor | Attacks add damage over time effect to target, named [Curse]
5: Improved Avatar of Val'Elzathor | Extra Lives (1)
6: Major Avatar of Val'Elzathor | Attacks apply [Acid Trip] to targets for one round
7: Greater Avatar of Val'Elzathor | Counterattack 50%
8: Greatest Avatar of Val'Elzathor | Extra Lives increases to (3)
9: Perfected Avatar of Val'Elzathor | Attacks affect a second [PG] target at random for half damage, but no Status Effects. This ability is tagged as Blast Radius.
10: True Avatar of Val'Elzathor | Regen Increases to 20% of max HP
11: Least Aspect of Val'Elzathor | [Curse] increases in potency, dealing twice as much damage as it did previously.
12: Lesser Aspect of Val'Elzathor | Time to produce a new Extra Life is reduced to two rounds
13: Minor Aspect of Val'Elzathor | Blast Radius increases to affecting two secondary targets per attack
14: Aspect of Val'Elzathor | Counterattack no longer prevents Val'Elzathor from performing its regular attack
15: Improved Aspect of Val'Elzathor | [Acid Trip] is now applied to anything attacking this Entity, whether or not the attack is successful.
16: Major Aspect of Val'Elzathor | Attack Reflect now affects anything attacking this Entity, whether or not the attack is successful
17: Greater Aspect of Val'Elzathor | Blast Radius increases to affect three secondary targets per attack
18: Greatest Aspect of Val'Elzathor | Attack Reflect increases to 200%
19: Perfected Aspect of Val'Elzathor | Regen increases to 30% of max HP
20: True Aspect of Val'Elzathor | This Entity gains the ability to attack twice per round.
21: Least Will Of The Dark God | For Entities only, [Acid Trip] is replaced by [Thrall]. Victims of [Thrall] can only direct attack actions at [PG] forces, and can only direct healing actions at [AG] forces.
22: Lesser Will Of The Dark God | Blast Radius now applies full attack damage and status effects to secondary targets.
23: Minor Will Of The Dark God | [Thrall] now lasts 2 turns, and forces its victims to act.
24: Will Of The Dark God | [Curse] is now applied to anything attacking this Entity, but the attack must be successful
25: Improved Will Of The Dark God | Blast Radius increases to affect four secondary targets per attack
26: Major Will Of The Dark God | No new special abilities, just increased stat boosts for this level.
27: Greater Will Of The Dark God | This Entity gains the ability to target players who would not normally vulnerable, but only applies the [Acid Trip] status effect when doing so. When doing so, the player in question must be the primary attack target, and cannot be targetted via Blast Radius.
28: Greatest Will Of The Dark God | Regen increases to 40% of max HP
29: Perfected Will Of The Dark God | No new special abilities, just increased stat boosts for this level.
30: True Will Of The Dark God | For this Entity's primary attack targets only, [Curse] increases in potency to the point of dooming any Entity or player struck by it to death.
31: Dark God Val'Elzathor | Dark God Val'Elzathor now produces the Field Effect, They Shall Perish, which automatically applies [Curse] to all Entities and vulnerable players that are not [AG] aligned. This is not the version of [Curse] that dooms victims to death next turn, simply being a damage over time effect. | Final Level

Magic Mushroom: Psycho Shroom

Of course, I'm not about to leave the avatar of my god's will undefended; even with its tremendous power, it could still be quite easily killed. To that end, I fire up the Summoning Engine again, calling forth a strange, fungal monstrosity. Though its physical attacks were pitiful, the hallucinogenic spores it released constantly would sew quite a lot of chaos among the Godmodder's allies.

Psycho Shroom
-Psycho Shroom is bodyguarding the Least Avatar of Val'Elzathor
-Psycho Shroom's attacks do no actual damage, only serving to apply the [Acid Trip] status effect for two rounds.
-Psycho Shroom pierces bodyguards.
-Anything attacking Psycho Shroom, be it an Entity, or a Player (even if that player isn't vulnerable, or the Entity is bodyguarded), also receives the [Acid Trip] status effect for two rounds.
-Anything currently under the influence of [Acid Trip] loses the ability to chose specific targets for its actions. Whatever its action targets is chosen at random from the list of everything vulnerable to attack on the field, with total disregard for the allegiance of the selected target. This applies to both Player and Entity actions.
-Any Entities summoned under the influence of [Acid Trip] will be of a random alignment.

I look at the Mobile Fortress and sigh. Why does that thing have to be so tough again?

The Godmodder really isn't making this easy, although I suppose I can hardly blame him. Cracking my knuckles, I decide it's time to hit this thing with the best way to deal with castles: orbital bombardment. Yes, there's a defense field around the planet, but there are ways to deal with that. Mainly by opening portals directly above the thing.

The All-Cosmos Dominating Armada, bold required, fires through the portals and directly on to the trundling machine below. The result is an instant apocalypse, shafts of obliterating lightning crashing down atop the fortification from a certain Tyrant's ingot-ships, blessed shells of gold and marble hitting home with the force to end mountains, orbs of bright yellow and heavy duty missiles descending like rain. By the end of the barrage, the foe is visibly worse for wear, and although other Entities stood at a safe distance, the riverbank nearby is now a mere furrow in the ground, the excess heat of the attack having boiled away the water. It would return in the form of rain, in time.

I teleport the White Mage away from the battlefield to land of frozen time, or more accurately a dimension where any time spent is not reflected in the outside work. There, we converse, and the Mage relaxes a little. Their job has only just begun, relatively speaking, but even so stress builds fast on the battlefield. With the additional time to rest and prepare, and with the best futuristic medicine I can provide, the Mage returns to the field zero seconds later with all, or at least most wounds fully healed.

Check
Just to stroke my own ego, I check the flavor text for the Least Avatar of Val'Elzathor

General Action: You're going on a trip. An [Acid Trip].

One of the most threatening Entities currently on the field for the [PG] side (aside from the Godmodder himself) is the being known as Inscruta. I decide to turn them into a liability for a bit, by dosing them with the hallucinogenic spores from the Psycho Shroom. Of course, the first step in that is getting some of said spores without giving myself horrible hallucinations in the process. Given how said spores were designed to affect robots, spirits, and golems on top of biological lifeforms, that would take some doing.

In order to facilitate such, I manifested aerokinesis, using carefully controlled micro-wind currents to gather a cloud of the spores, and dissolve them into a solution which will prevent their dispersal through the air, while also maintaining its potency if suddenly brought into contact with a viable subject. With that, I pull out a weapon I haven't used in a while, namely my tranquilizer gun.

I load a dart full of this spore solution, take aim, and fire right at Inscruta. The dart slams right into their body, the needle piercing all protections the being might have as it delivers its payload right into them. Inscruta soon begins to act woozy, before its actions become unpredictable. It looks like I had been successful in applying the [Acid Trip] effect to that particular Entity, though I wasn't sure if my alterations to the formula would have reduced the duration or increased it.

Free Action: scan Inscruta

... Let me say that the Psycho Shroom is both is overpowered and annoying. First of all, preventing control over actions? Even player actions? Uh... no thanks. There are 12 pro godmodder targets, and 13 anti-godmodder targets. So, assuming that the 'acid trip' debuff goes on a PG, they have a 45.8% chance of attacking a fellow PG. Let's assume that one attack deals 15k damage... And according to Piono, a two turn debuff would affect two attacks.

So... Because the attack has a 45.8% chance of hitting an ally, over two turns, there's a 21% chance of hitting a PG twice, a 29.4% chance of hitting an AG twice, and a 49.6% chance of hitting a PG once and an AG once. Now, we need to go into opportunity cost.

Without the acid trip debuff, the PG would hit an AG twice for 15k damage each time. That's a net profit of 30k damage for the PG side. With the debuff, let's analyze the potential outcomes.

Hit PG twice - -30k net profit for PG side
Hit PG once, AG once - break even
Hit AG twice - 30k net profit

Now, we multiply these by the chance of them happening to get the average effect of the acid trip debuff.

-30k * .21 + 0 * .496 + 30k * .294 = 5,820

And because this is replacing the standard 2 attacks on an AG, we need to subtract.

5,820 - 30,000 = -24,180

So, with its standard attack, the Psycho Shroom, on average, is causing a 24k HP swing in favor of the AGs. This wouldn't be that bad on its own, but it's doing this also every time it gets attacked, not to mention how it takes away agency from players. Granted, this number is a high estimate because any entity with self buffs as actions are pretty much immune to this. Still, I hate effects that take away agency. So, bad mushroom. I usually don't attack entities on their first turn of life, but this? Nah. ... Although, I will admit, having Thina get drugged out of her mind sounds... uh... interesting.

Anyway, this speech about the nature of the foul mushroom being enrages and inspires Authority! After all, who does this mushroom think it is to challenge the rule of law with chaos? Order will prevail, and there shall be peace through strength! Chaos always attempts to seep in, which is why Authority must remain strong. The cloud of darkness surrounding Authority suddenly dissolves away, leaving for a moment what seemed to be a cloud of jagged mechanical eyes.

It reforms a short distance away, having purged the toxin from its alien biology. It turns, shadowy mechanical eyes focusing on the Psycho Shroom. Plus, Authority doesn't even have a face! It has a vague head like shape, though no actual face. Anyway, this action is to counter I_Just_Write's action.

Plus, I use the artifact's power to give Authority a mini-crit on top of this by spending 20 durability and 40 energy.

Authority 'convinces' the Psycho Shroom of the correct course of action through Truthtelling, dealing 30k damage, plus the minicrit, plus crit from attacking a bodyguard. This is literally the kind of situation I designed Truthtelling to counter. You AGs do seem to love your bodyguards. Obedience heals Ashes for 10,000.

Freezer Shock: Spend 14 durability and 25 energy to give an entity a mini-crit on its next attack (1.5 times extra damage). Cannot be used on an entity summoned with over 20 posts of charge.
Cold Snap: Spend 20 durability and 40 energy to give an entity an extra action. Cannot be used on an entity summoned with over 20 posts of charge.
The Seeker: Spend 5 durability and 30 energy to attempt to find ancient tech in this area.

α

Obedience: 150,000/150,000 HP
0/15 Domination

Passive - Rule of Law: Starts with The Crown. The Crown is a passive bonus that goes to either Obedience or Authority. At the end of the turn, The Crown heals whichever entity it is on by 2,000 and then swaps to the other entity. In addition, PG players can spend an action to invoke Executive Privilege. Doing so will swap The Crown to the other entity in the duo, in addition to any other healing or buffs the action gives. AG/N players can also do this, though it is harder for them. (As in, it takes a good post or a small charge dedicated to it)

Passive - Crackdown: Whenever an enemy attacks Authority while it has The Crown, Obedience gains 1 Domination. Damage from passive or indirect effects does not count for this. Obedience can spend Domination to increase Authority's damage for one attack by 1,000 per Domination.

Passive - Heritage: If Authority dies, Obedience permanently gets The Crown and gains 2 Domination per turn.

Attack - Servitude: Heal an entity for 10,000. Heals for an additional 5,000 if Obedience has The Crown.

Attack - Behavioral Correction: Costs 2 Domination. Lashes out at an enemy, dealing 25,000 damage, but also increasing any healing they deal by 30% for 2 turns.

Attack - The Walls Watch: Costs 4 Domination. Pick a non-elite enemy and a target. That enemy also attacks the target during the EOTB.

Authority: 150,000/150,000 HP
0/15 Domination

Passive - Crackdown: Whenever an enemy attacks Obedience while it has The Crown, Authority gains 1 Domination. Damage from passive or indirect effects does not count for this. Authority can spend Domination to increase Obedience's damage for one attack by 1,000 per Domination.

Passive - Heritage: If Obedience dies, Authority permanently gets The Crown and gains 2 Domination per turn.

Attack - Showcase: Deal 10,000 damage to an entity. Deals an additional 5,000 damage if Authority has The Crown.

Attack - Truthtelling: Costs 2 Domination. Deals 30,000 damage to a target, but also increase their damage by 15% for 2 turns. If this attack is used on an entity with hidden stats, it also reveals those stats.

Attack - Reeducation: Costs 4 Domination. Pick a non-elite enemy and a target. That enemy also heals the target for as much damage as it deals during the EOTB.

King's head jerked back and suddenly he understood. He faces her, the cold metal helmet staring at her.

King pulls his cape around himself and brings himself to her level.

"... An explanation would be nice."

Thina's gaze darts to meet King's and stays there for just a moment before looking back down and leaning away, frightened by the lack of capital letters.

"Please- It's not wha-"

Realizing that her voice had dropped in pitch, Thina suddenly stops, closes her eyes, and takes a few breaths before restarting with the proper pitch.

"... Look, I..."

She looks around to make sure Mirror is gone.

"... I don't want to support... them. I've seen what they've done, and it terrifies me. ... But, yes. It's true. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier. I've been sent here to help the Godmodder. Things are complicated. ..."

Thina stares down at the ground for a while before seeming to realize something and looking back up at King. After positioning herself so that she could face King, she looks back up. Holding up a paw in front of her mouth, she tilts her head over to the side.

"I'm... er... I'm not at liberty to say why exactly."

As she speaks, she draws an eye like symbol in the dirt with her other paw and indicates it by tilting her head towards it.

"... Um... Others have an interest in this fight."

She taps the center of the symbol with her clawed finger and then discretely points up at her own head.

"I can't say much else."

In one gentle but swift motion, she rubs out the eye symbol, returning the dirt to normal. She puts her paws back to their normal resting places and tilts her head back, looking up at the roof.

"... The pleasure and the pang. ... The angels can't measure it."

Finally, in one last action, she tilts her head back to the side for a moment to indicate where the eye symbol was.

Great, apparently the electrostaff's sniper rifle mode isn't working, so I can't do charged attacks. Too bad, I wanted to wipe one of the Godmodder's bosses with an absurdly powerful charged attack. Whatever, at least it can stun stuff and shouldn't run out of power.

Anyways, time to attack the Mobile Fortress. I create a modified version of the battlebot Bronco with some improved systems and AI, and add an inverted shrink object to multiply its size by a factor of 16. I then proceed to impersonate the battlebots announcers.

"In the Blue Corner, this bot will buck you up, it's Bronco!"

"And in the Red Corner, the titan of the battlefield, the impenetrable wall, the Mobile Fortress!"

As soon as the starting buzzer rings, Bronco charges forward, aiming to get a devastating flip on the Mobile Fortress. The Mobile Fortress uses its drawbridge as a wedge to block Bronco at first, but a skilled maneuver gives Bronco the corner of the Mobile Fortress and allows it to land a devastating flip. The Mobile Fortress, despite its huge size, is launched into the air, spinning several times before landing on its roof.

"Uh oh, the Mobile Fortress is immobilized! Can it self-right!"

The Mobile Fortress manages to self-right somehow, and then disgorges all of its troops.

"It looks like Mobile Fortress is attempting to utilize minibots to fight Bronco! Can they make the difference?"

As it turns out, no. Bronco procceeds to continue to land flip after flip on the Mobile Fortress, causing severe internal damage due to the fact that the Mobile Fortress is not intended to survive being spun upside nor, nor falling hard on its roof.

*****Meanwhile,in Space*****

"Okay, the defenses are officially impenetrable."

"What about the Planar Breacher?"

"Well, it got blown up again."

"What happened to it this time?"

"The idiots driving the thing aren't admitting it, so I'm going to assume that means it was really stupid."

As it turns out, for a flagship-sized drill equipped with warp drive technology, a ridiculous amount of armor, and a forward-facing arsenal, the Planar Breacher ends up wrecked a lot. Usually because it burns off most of its strength brute-forcing its way into a system, leaving it vulnerable to whatever it actually encounters in the system. Or, some enemy captain gets smart and flies behind it to cripple and kill it.

"It's going to take at least a month to rebuild it, even with their advanced shipyards. We don't exactly have a month here."

"Well, Varos is still on the ground, and he's working hard to find a solution."

*****Meanwhile, on the ground*****

"Oh! Oh my god! Bronco managed to flip the Mobile Fortress into a pool of lava! Look at the Fortress melt! This is almost certainly a K.O."

  • Auto-Crafter (Artifact): An automated crafting system designed to bolster engineering efficiency. Either generates a charge point or loses durability each turn (50% chance of either). 100% durability.
  • Juggernaut Armor (Artifact): A light powered armor system. Protects the user with both armor and ablative shielding, and increases the wearer's attack damage (8/8 Armor HP, 4 Shield HP).
  • Electrostaff (Artifact): An electromagnetic system that can be used to stun enemies or reflect countered attacks back at the user.
  • Multicannon Pistol: A magic-powered gauss pistol, capable of firing in different modes (ranging from conventional bullets to the same power as a tank cannon). Has an ammo creation system built in to create strange ammunition and avoid reloading problems.
    • AM Breacher Rounds: Specialized rounds designed to penetrate magical defenses and destroy magic-based systems.
  • Cool Goggles: Advanced goggles that eliminate glare and provide advanced Scanning functionality (aka the normal Scanning functionality).
    • Ballistic Calculation System: Calculates ballistic trajectories of objects, allowing for more accurate shots, and also creative tactics using corpses as weapons or landing an enemy in just the right location.
  • Sustain Necklace: An emergency contingency that will revive the user immediately after death. Breaks after use.
  • Artificer's Gloves: A specially-designed pair of gloves that can apply telekinesis over short range, and can also create common materials out of thin air.

  • Wand of Lesser Vigor: A wand capable of providing a minor regenerative effect. Not too useful in direct combat, but useful for making hospitals obsolete.
  • Base Defenses: Several advanced traps protecting my base.
    • 7 Proxy Defense: An advanced redirection system that makes it nearly impossible for intruders to find the base.
  • Workbench: A standard workbench containing useful supplies and apparatus for tinkering.

Alright, announcement post:
First off. There won't be another update for like, a week and a half, as I'm going to be on vacation. I give you all express permission to do extra RP posts and whatnot if you so desire as compensation, although I'm not going to be continuing the tradition of handing out extra regular posts, it already takes me long enough to update.

Second off: The drawing contest. Even though I won't be able to update, I'm still going to have internet access for a while. Anyways, since the next boss is going to be coming up as soon you guys hit 50% distance I figured I might as well call the art contest now. Everyone who is interested in trying to obtain a free 50 post charge, PM me, either here or on Discord, and I'll give you a description of the boss. You do NOT have to be actively playing this game to enter the contest by the way, you can decide to just enter no matter what.
The winner of the contest will have their art showcased in this thread as the official artwork for the boss, as well as given that 50 post charge token. This token can either be spent as a 50, or broken up and used as multiple smaller charges.
The runner-ups (ie: everyone who I deem has artwork good enough that it could've been used) will have their art posted in the Out-of-Character thread, as well as given a 10 post charge token.

Anyone who wins or runnner-ups has express permission to do a singular post in-thread to expend their charge token however they desire.

Finally, Pebbletopia, a sidequest idea that JOEbob came up with that I deemed cool enough to allow to have a proper reward. Go check out his post for information on it. It will net the winner of it a Spoil, so at least one of you AGs ought to volunteer to try and do it. eternalstruggle is barred from participating as he already has a spoil.

Now that there seems to be a lull in battle, I sit down to consider some ideas on how to defeat the Godmodder.

/rppost

I start running around and yelling "ARE YOU AN AG? DO YOU WANT A SPOIL? IF SO, JOIN PEBBLETOPIA NOW FOR A FREE CHANCE AT A POWERFUL SPOIL!"
"(pebbletopia can be joined by messaging me or just saying you join in a post. first come is first served.)"

"Calm down JOE, I'm sure someone will join. . . Will the other's be able to observe the game, though? " the mirror man asked his friend. "Also, what will the spoil be, if you can tell me, at least." The clock head turns to Thina. "I actually have some questions for you, will you be willing to answer them?"

I reply to mirror "I don't know what spoil either side'll get yet, as the spoil you'll get is based on the theme & powers of the AG ubergod, and I haven't come up with a balanced idea for your ubergod."
"oh and yes, everyone'll be able to watch. why would i hide it? besides, its all going to be in my posts."
"EDIT: Oh, looks like someone signed up for the AG slot. i wonder what they'll be using."

King glowers at her as she starts to speak out, his posture stiff and tense as if ready to spring onto her at the drop of a hat. But as she starts speaking his posture slackens with his shoulders drooping and his back curving in his crouch. His cape pathetically hangs limp off of him without movement or wind to breathe life into it.

"I... OH GOD, I DIDN'T THINK. I APOLOGIZE."

His tone reminiscent of a dog hanging its head after misbehaving. He reaches out to her before drawing his hand back with a shake. King doesn't move just crouching on level with her avoiding her gaze before she starts drawing in the dirt. King faintly nods and tries to not look at it directly instead glancing at it with his peripheral vision and the occasional glance at what she drew before focusing his gaze on her again as she gestures. He pauses for a moment to think and chose his words carefully.

"WELL, HOPEFULLY YOU'LL BE ABLE TO TELL ME ABOUT IT SOMEDAY. I'LL HELP YOU OUT IF I CAN IN ANYWAY."

At least he can't wink.

I may as well make this into a second post. And, use that second post to follow the advice of one of the hashtags by searching the area. Is there something wacky hidden around here? I look for anything interesting, also spending 5 durability and 30 energy from the artifact.

Got +0 total
Gamma: 20/20 - HOLDING. DON'T BOTHER GIVING ME ANY CHARGES THIS TURN. I'm going to wait to see if I want to edit this into doing something.
Delta: 20/20

+1 to MrMirrorMan, +1 to Joebob

Durability 100/100. Energy: 0/100
The user has halved HP and cannot drop this. Gives the user a weakness. Loses 60 durability on death. For every 500 damage the user's entities deal, gain 2 energy. Can also trade durability for energy in a 1:1 ratio, but not vice versa. Grants the following special bonuses that can be triggered alongside an action:

Frost Mend: Spend 6 durability and 20 energy to restore 5,000 HP to an entity.

Chipset Tier 1
23% Durability
30% Energy

Obedience: 115,000/150,000 HP, 0/15 Domination
Authority: 115,000/115,000 HP, 0/15 Domination, Crowned

At least he can't wink.

Seeing King's emotion take a 180, Thina starts and recoils backwards slightly. Her expression under the visor immediately softens and she slowly brings her head back forward, looking King's shame up and down. In a broken motion, she raises a paw only to stop barely above the ground. Returning it, she stays silent and instead simply watches King's own hand, though it was difficult to tell that through the visor. Then, she does her whole speech.

When Thina realizes that King understood at least something from that, she relaxes slightly, her tension dropping almost imperceptibly.

"... I won't be able to say much for matters of safety, but thank you for understanding that."

She stays silent for some time, drawing her tail around herself.

"I suppose you're against the Godmodder, which makes this unfortunate. Though, I have a duty to preform. I am here as a surrogate, and I can only hope the Godmodder will bring peace through strength. No strong authority always leads to chaos and rebellion."

The clock head turns to Thina. "I actually have some questions for you, will you be willing to answer them?"

Hearing the voice behind her, Thina whirls around to face Mirror, her ears suddenly shooting up straight and stiff.

"Ah- I'm sorry! Y- you didn't hear, did you? ... You can ask me what you will and I'll try to answer I- ..."

Immediately, she's gone back to being tensed and ready to run.

"Calm down dear, I didn't listen in to your conversation as that would have been rude. I simply want to know what you think of us, the Anti-Godmodder and Neutral fractions. Your reasons for fighting for the godmodder, I can guess are not your own, seeing as you don't seem like the type to intentionally hurt those you consider friends." The Clock Mirror says. ". . . And also, are you afraid of me, or just nervous around Pro-godmodder' members?"

Thina suddenly stops, surprised. Though she's still tense, she raises her head up curiously.

"Huh? ... Dear? Did you call me..."

She glances down to the side, her expression softening slightly until she remembers where she is. Snapping back to attention, she whips her head back to look straight at Mirror. She stays silent for a long time, letting him speak. Then, she takes a breath and steps back once.

"... First, I can't say I have a clear view of the factions as I know very little about them. And... my reason for being here is to fight on the side of order. I don't know what that... has to do with not wanting to hurt friends."

At the final question, she moves her head back puts a paw up to shield it.

"... I've... I've seen a- and heard some of what you've done."

With shaking breath, she closes her eyes for a moment, waiting for something. After a moment, she looks back up at Mirror and continues.

"... I'm horrified with h- how y- how- ... I- ... ah!"

Her stiff expression suddenly breaks into panic and she turns before sprinting a few meters away from Mirror. At a 'safe' distance, she turns around again, no longer sitting, but instead crouched low to the ground.

"P- ... please don't..."

/RPnull, though this may be the last turn for a while that Thina is coherent. Also, if someone wants to RP but is worried about making the first move (like I was), you can come talk to Thina. I'll have her respond.
