[Science] hungry visitor - 74,000 Grist
modders magnum
A shiny gun that can reject and attract a chosen set of Laws that can be either natural or Laws set by the Arbiter (like the curse of repetitiveness). Attraction of laws doesn't seem to actually attract laws but instead generates them and Rejections doesn't seem to actually reject laws but actually just removes them. If connected to an energy source it can even leave lasting laws (in theory).

The Artificer's Guide to Magitech
A book titled and written by an unknown artificer from the world of Eberron. Contains highly useful insights on the usage and creation of magitech items, allowing it's user to do yet more with the creation of magitech items.

Screwdriver Stylus
A stylus with a headed screwdriver on the back, allowing for both to be used in quick conjunction.

Alternate Mindvessel
A robot that functions as secondary vessel for my soul. Allows being at two spaces at once, but does not allow a greater amount of work to be done.

Real Estate:
Magitech Library
10000/10000 HP, 2000 Defense, allows for studying and better actions with magitech

Nuclear Magitech Workspace
20000/20000 HP , magitech workspace powered with an incredibly efficient nuclear reactor, allowing it to have a large supply of energy and electricity. Further boosts magitech based actions.

Also as for the name of the dark greenish curse of repetiveness rejection: since I found it out, I get to name it. It is now officially the hunger for repetitiveness.

Madly cackling I shoot a charged beam of godmodding rejection and alchemy rejection at the Snowspire Fortress .
I get my alternate mindvessel to collect the precious grist, alternatively if the grist are not gained, I start studying the alternate mindvessel since it is a curious piece of magitech.
I start constructing a second modders magnum - this one should be different tho. I want to make it as small as possible. Good that I have the right tools here.

Ok time to improve my base area. I use one action and 1000 grist to expand my pocket dimention to the 2 universe size I was originally going for. For my second and third actions I then use my broadsword to carve a pentagram into the back of Exod and sacrifice 4000 grist and a drop of my blood to preform a magic ritual to empower exod

Infiltration - Sidequest 2-6
Firstly, I rush over to the researcher. The drones are busy being repaired, it says, so him first. Also, drones are idiots. But what to do when I reach him?
The problem with magic in general is that people try to use it for everything, but it's not always the best solution. Glyphic Magic compounds this- it takes time, preparation, precision. put a too much magic into one part of the Glyph structure, and it won't work just a little worse like an attack spell. The energy flow goes bonkers, like if you open a direct line from power to Ground. If you're lucky, it'll "just" waste 80% of the energy. if you're unlucky, the whole thing will go unstable and melt down - and you can't even abuse it, because the melt-down is way weaker then a proper glyph attack Would have been. The point is, some people use Magic too much. I am not one of those people.
Reaching the Researcher/guard, I kick at one leg while grabbing his weapon and yanking it aside. The guard, unless he's a particularly skilled fighter, stumbles forwards, which gives me the opportunity to knee him in the face, at which point he is liable to let go of his weapon. Taking a step to the left and forwards, I screen myself from the drones with the researchers body for a few seconds as I club them in the neck with the back of their weapon. And that last blow Hurts- while Glyph Magic is a Terrible idea to cast mid-fight, even more so then normal magic in close combat, Glyphs already charged make for excellent boosts, and I mentioned carving Glyphs into the Gauntlet while I was making the Siphon, one of which is a strength amplifier. The Guard goes down.

Secondly, I immediately drop to the ground in case the drones will target me, and scrawl a few emp-generating glyphs (they don't do it directly, but the feedback process between improperly carved shock glyphs and surrounding micro-structures of metal mana has interesting implications. plus, since it has to be improper it's actually fairly reliable to generate in combat!), weak ones but enough to disrupt the visuals of the drones. While the drones are confused, I steal the Researchers clothes, access pass, etcetra, then put My clothing on them, sneakily carve a mid-duration stun glyph into their hair, and slip the gauntlet on their arm. Then I destroy the Emp glyphs and stop supplying them mana, leaving the drones to see what looks to be a Researcher Guard standing over the defeated intruder after knocking them out. I half-mumble something about 'figuring out how that weird gauntlet works', retrieve my gauntlet again, and leave it to the drones to kill the "intruder" when my glyph wears off and he wakes back up.

Thirdly, leaving the room- on the grounds that I was just attacked and need to tell the Godmodder, if any of the drones are smart enough to ask- I act like I'm supposed to be here all the way to room 3, avoiding any interruption by way of looking mostly like the late Researcher Guard and of walking confidently.

INVENTORY: 0 Mana crystals, 1 containers Concentrated Glyphic Magic, 0 Metal Glyph D20.
EQUIPPED: Caster's Gauntlet (Silverwood, Glyphic, multipurpose. Level 7)
Assets:
>Glyphic Factory (Alchemiter-powered Power Supply(Frovens)! Has Electricity -> Mana Conversion!)
>>G. Grist Mine (cost: 1 Cont. Glyphic Magic, 1 Action labour. Upgrades: 1 M. Crystal, Aprx. 1 Action labour. other upgrades: 1 Cont. G.mag, stacking, auto.)w/~3800G,
>>>Alchemiting guy (crafting Cnt.Glph. magic).
>>G. Foundry (-7000G for Glyphs.)
>>Iron Guardian Array (Glyphic) (cost: Metal Glyph D20, 3 Cont.Glyph Magic, 2 Actions labor.) w/27->29+?ish Mana.
>Glyphic Siphon (1 Cnt.Glph Magic, 3 Action Labour (Empowered through gauntlet). Upgrades: Self(Ucnn), stacking, auto)

30k->40,000 Grist.

You deal 15000 damage to the guard, stunning him enough to allow further shenanigans! Blocking the Drone's sensors enough to preform a switch, you trade clothes with the researcher! Re-equipping your gauntlet, you make it to the upper hallway without any further conflict. You wonder how his drones will react when he discovers himself to be the intruder...

Items: Steel Swiftsword, Bag of Capture, Spherical Shooter, T-Rex Progrise Key, Jacker Gauntlet, GM Stress Applicator, Godmodder Brand Headache Inducer, Attaché Calibur
Grist: 193,000
Real Estate: Alchemiter Research Facility, Grist Outpost
Entities: Satellite Zea, Kamen Rider Vulcan

1. I decide to use my jacket gauntlet on the dead drone, stealing it's data for decrypting, scanning, and reverse engineering for later use and sending it to zea.
2. I contact Vulcan to see if there are any changes in the outside world
3. After finding out about this ulticannon breaker I contact zea to see if the satellite can find it.

You do so, adding some Drone Data to your inventory (Well... Satellite Zea's, but... still). It's there for further use!

Vulcan replies that not much has changed, other than the Fortress sending out some entities and several new Players arriving. Nothing major, and everything you own is safe!
[However, I have an idea for the Revelation Points that have been accumulating. With your permission, I might be able to use them to really expand the Alchemiter's capabilities...]

The satellite cannot find it due to it being on the inside of a massive bunker! You have no problem though, considering you can see it pretty apparently in front of you on the right wall.

I decide the best and most efficient way is to use the famous art of technobabble and reverse the polarity of the breaker! I make sure not to simply reverse the flow of electricity - that might have no effect - but by reversing the polarity in once fell swoop I reverse its ability to charge and sabotage the progress of the Ulticannon! After all, it's designed for the power to flow a specific way - any reversals are liable to cause significant damage!

Shenanigan finished, I use my two remaining Actions to head to Room 3 and- oh dangit.

"Uhh... Hi?"

Smooth, me. Smooth.

You reverse the polarity of the breaker, reversing the possible charging capabilities and making it completely unable to charge at all! Immediately after this is done, the entire display goes dark and the wores coursing throughout the room seem to... no longer be transmitting a charge. It appears the Godmodder has shut down the room!
Charge of the Ulticannon Added Per Turn Halved!

Moving to Room 3, you come across the two other guards...

Guard - State your purpose and reason, or leave!
Other Guard - Failure to do so will result in direct confrontation with our lord supreme!

They brandish their weapons menacingly, though it lacks the same effect when you could severely injure both of them in one turn...

Inventory: Oarred Longship, Blossom Bow, Shuriken Staff, Purple Dragon Belt, Paint Set, Party Rapier , Halberd Musket, Stabbing Cart, Solar Bat, Viking's Cannon Halblade, Tranquilizing Flintlocks

I walk up to the breaker, and spend all my 3 actions smashing it with my Solar Bat, which is sure to mess it up greatly!

Smashing the breaker, you realize that this controls more than the Ulticannon: It controls the entire fortress! As you smash it, lights flicker and the entire electrical system begins to fail. Light eminates from your bat before the lights come back on, although considerably dimmer and flickering occasionally. Though the Fortress isn't down, it's weakened - and even better, you were the one to cause it.

-- Maindop snip* --

(x1)(Illusory Reality Beam)(Paradox Wand)I use the IRB to make myself invisible, odourless, silent and the Paradox Wand renders me too...chaotic to read with Pre/Peri/Post-Cog. With this much stealth, I move into the Snowspire Fortress to join the Sidequest.
You enter the fortress with multiple layers of stealth on you, making it unlikely that you'll be detected by the Godmodder and his minions within the fortress! You're currently located in Area 1. Keep in mind that it takes an action to move in here, so it's best to keep that in mind. Good luck!

End of Turn Battle -
On the Main Hallway, the Guards refrain from attacking Alastair to threaten him and question!
The second floor guard is attacked by the Attack Drone, getting dealt 8000 damage!

Location: [PG] Snowspire Fortress - 1,842,000/2,500,000 HP, Ulticannon: [ ||||| ||||| ] 5.5/10
A completely massive fortress built by the Godmodder. The entire fortress is beginning to seem a bit brighter...

1 - Entry Room:
[SC] Paradox - 20000/20000 HP, 124,000 Grist
Dragon researcher, I think? I'm not entirely sure if they're even humanoid... whatever they are, they're hidden though.

[PG] Researcher Guard: 7000/30000 HP, 8000 Attack
Dressed like Steffan, but without the Gauntlet. Treated like an AG entity!
[PG] Attack Drone: 10000/10000 HP, 7000 Attack

(x1)Moving to the Main Hallway, I pull out my Chromatic Shurikens and the Aspected Multitool as I sneak up to the Guards, avoiding any Ink or other debris and moving without a sound.

(x1)(Aspected Multitool)(Chromatic Shurikens) I then, infusing the Shurikens with Aspects of Void and Breath, tuning them to Stun the Guards, I toss them at the 2 Guards. With my stealth, the nature of Void and the Speed of Breath, they will have no time to react before the Shurikens hit them, causing them to fly backwards into Room 7 even as the Shurikens release their stunning payload. The Guards should be down for a while.

(x1)Nodding at Alastair...before realising he probably can't see me, I ascend the stairs, being careful to remain stealthy, and not trip.

Firstly, I go to room 4.
Secondly, I move to room 3.
And Thirdly, I carve a simplified version of the Glyphic Grist Mine into the top of one of the crates in this room, causing it to mine the rich grist and expand to the other crates as I continue feeding it mana.
I Preview (My Soul || (small rock && small tree && small shield && small bowl && small hand && small computer && small book)) or, simplified, (My Soul combined with 'smallness'.). Since souls have a 'shape' and stuff, they sound fairly alchemisable.

Also, I don't quite understand grist? Is it just a vague measure of how powerful the things we make turn out to be, or is it like a resource we have to save up and expend to create cooler stuff?

1. I look at the broken breaker with a sigh and brush off some of the broken parts away, I find a small patch of expose wires and grab them with my Jacker Gauntlet sending a Trojan malware into the fortress's System, the Trojan disguised as a legitimate command causes the fortress to uplink with my server Metsuboujinrai.Net which is part of Zea. Sending data packets from Zea to Snowspire's system I take control of the fortress.

2. Contacting Vulcan I ask him if he upgrade Zea's signal and hard drives.

3. I give Torix permission to use my revelation points.

I smile at my work, before I go to do more work! I do a fist pump and run off to the top of the LOEBAV, but not before I grab the War Engineer and drag him with me to the roof.

There I bribe him with some cheap whiskey to help me build a Grist Collection Tower.

Similar to a Solar Collector, this captures Grist Atoms in the light, and then channels it to the Grist Machinery to be refined or collected

It kinda looks like a radio tower if the radio was replaced by reflective glass.

I give it a kick and watch it turn on, seeing it unfold it's Grist Panels with a hum, before it swivels it's "head" to begin seeking Grist Particles.

Because those exist.

(1x)I order Several Punch Girl to ignore the shadow beasts for now

(3x) then I take off and began the aireral assault.

I first make Party Rapier && Epithet: Barrier
Then I use my remaining 2 actions to move to the room Alastair is in

While I speak, I use my three Actions to give myself a single Boot. This is completely important.

"By this, do you mean that if I don't surrender you'll take me to the Godmodder?" I ask amicably. "Because there is something I do wish to discuss with him! And I really would appreciate the help."

Update 19
I direct my mirror at the shadow beasts (1)

sash && tenacity && endurance

antennae && hopper && grist ( sends a signal to nearby leftover heists from alchemy, and attracts them to the hopper)

inventory:
grist writer ( write stuff with grist)
Firey Blowdart Gun, (2500 fire damage)
Spooky lantern, (lantern, heavy)
Musical postbox, (musical postbox)
Pen, (just a pen)
Dissonant trombone, (4000 damage)
Crown of the molten depths,( fire resistance )
Synthesized Flute
Mirror of vanity (weakness detecting item)

You direct the mirror at the Shadow Beasts, revealing a weakness of theirs... pets?
... I mean, I would imagine petting something from the void would hurt the pet giver more than the recipient, but... okay.

Sash && Tenacity && Endurance:
[LVL 7 - 30000 Grist] Focus Sash:

A wearable item that protects it's user from 1-hit kills. Although more useful on an entity than a Player, it could be used on both.
(This causes your Grist Production Core to level up, by the way!)

Antenna && Hopper && Grist:

[LVL 6 - 20000 Grist] Grist Scavenger:
A mechanical system that collects leftover Grist from previous alchemies through a mobile hopper, giving about 5% of the Grist used back to you. [This alchemy is not included.]

Ok then...here goes.

5000 grit

With this in mind...I'll start things off by placing three Lvl 1 Loyal Dire Wolves. Then I'll finish things off by creating a small lvl 2 Grit Production facility.

Alright... so, to start here, you have 10000 Grist to start off with, not 5000 as mentioned in the post. Additionally, preforming an alchemy requires an action as well as the required amount of Grist, so... um, yea.

Despite this, you manage to create 2 LVL 2 Loyal Dire Wolves on your side, along with a LVL 3 Grist Production facility! [I upped your leveling because there isn't really a point to LVL 1 items at this point in the game, and additionally, you had the Grist for it.]

Void are friends, not grist! Don't worry about them, I Void-B-Gone'd you guys, and I'll keep the spray going! although saying that, it just makes it less likely... it can attack the fortress, I assume?

Don't forget you have a Preview each turn that you can preview an alchemy with. :)

This is where I keep all the recipes I know!
Bug Repellant && Reality:
[LVL 3 - 5000 Grist] Void-B-Gone: A aerosol spray can to prevent voidic creatures from approaching a certain object. Can be used on a Player, entity, or building (anything, really) to prevent or dissuade such a creature from damaging them until it wears off.

Vacuum && Blender:
[LVL 5 - 12000 Grist] Suck-&-Slice: A handheld vaccum device similar to the Poltergust in design, this contraption is a backpack with an extremely powerful vacuum nozzle on it. When aimed at an opponent, they get sucked into the containment blender on the back of the device, where they are promptly sliced into and injured for an additional 6000 damage to the attack.

Scented Candle || Piece of the Void:
[LVL 6 - 20000 Grist] Voidic Candle: A candle emanating of energies within the void. Will draw void entities to the candle over time, allowing them to be sedated and possibly controlled. However, void aligned entities are known to be extremely hostile and attack anything on sight.

Grist Drill && Reality:
[LVL 5 - 12000 Grist] Void Miner: A massive drill composed of material sharp enough to drill through the void and enter into it's depths, plumbing for Grist and outputting 600 Grist per turn!

Labratory && Void Piece:
[LVL 5 - 12000 Grist] Void Research Labratory: A way to look into the Void... and see if the abyss stares back. Allows for safe viewing and research of the void with only a minuscule risk to exposure of it's corrosion. You build this and connect it's cameras to the Void Miner - although it sees nothing but the encroaching static for now, there's certainly more to be seen down there...

Suck-&-Slice && Void Piece:
[LVL 6 - 20000 Grist] Voidic Vacuum: A vacuum styled in shades of black and purple. It's interior storage section appears to contain nothing but a dark static, but... beside the point, anything else that enters in there will be directly damaged by void. The void within can also be fired out as an attack, dealing 6000 extra damage on a hit!

Voidic Candle && Rehabilitation Center && School:
[LVL 9 - 75000 Grist] Void Acclimation Facility: A facility designed to rehabilitate and train the creatures of the void to fight with a conscience and not kill everything indiscriminately. Although they aren't immune to corruption and reversion to their old ways due to this retraining, it's the closest thing you have so far to a non-violent faction change on the Void so far

Stargate && Piece of the Void:
[LVL 8 - 50000 Grist] Warpgate: A gate that warps anything within it to The Void, a place of pitch black nothingness and monsters beyond imagining. For some reason, this is two way, although nobody entirely knows WHY the alchemizer would want Void creatures in the world... or to go to The Void

Pit Trap && Piece of the Void:
[LVL 5 - 12000 Grist] Abyss Trap: A trap that materializes under a foe when stepped on, causing the enemy to fall into the Void if they aren't careful or subjecting them to the eldritch entities dwelling there otherwise. Although only effective a few times before the trap dematerializes, the few times it does activate prove deadly and effective enough to kill minor entities.

Recycling Plant && Graveyard:
[LVL 6 - 20000 Grist] Graveyard Recycling Facility: A standard graveyard combined with a composting facility that will recycle the base parts of an entity down to a fraction of their pure Grist. Allows for the owner to obtain an additional 10% of an enemy's Grist drop, obtaining more Grist when they're killed.
[LVL 5 - 12000 Grist] Suck-&-Slice: A handheld vacuum device similar to the Poltergust in design, this contraption is a backpack with an extremely powerful vacuum nozzle on it. When aimed at an opponent, they get sucked into the containment blender on the back of the device, where they are promptly sliced into and injured for an additional 6000 damage to the attack.

[LVL 6 - 20000 Grist] Voidic Candle: A candle emanating of energies within the void. Will draw void entities to the candle over time, allowing them to be sedated and possibly controlled. However, void aligned entities are known to be extremely hostile and attack anything on sight.

Hey Torix, I assume alchemizing consumes the ingredients used, but once we create an object through alchemizing, do we have to alchemize identical ingredients to get a second one for fusing, or can we pull another out of our pocket/various backpacks/collective posteriors like we can other items? Say I wanted to use the Voidic Candle to alchemize a totally awesome lighthouse, but had already used it alchemizing the Void Acclimation Facility, could I pull one out solely for that purpose or would alchemizing another Candle give a better result?

First I'll preview Graveyard Recycking Facility && Crematorium. I need some way to get my Grist production up and running, and this looks like it. I was going to get cultists working here at the Graveyard collecting corpses and digging graves, but instead once they arrive I'll probably have them on research duty!

Next up is spending my actions. This... this is difficult. See, I don't quite have enough Grist to build the V.A.F, there's no mooks of the Godmodders to attack, and if I enter the Fortress I won't be able to keep my spray going on everyone, so I'll have to spend two of my actions mining for Grist. But plain old mining is boring, so I'll spice it up a little by adding a description: Since I'm Void-B-Gone'd, it should be safe to be around the Void Miner without getting grabbed or worse - I'll spend an action tinkering with my Suck-&-Slice to amplify the 'Suck' at expense of the 'Slice' so that it won't ruin anything it pulls in, then I'll aim it directly at the Void Miner! There's no brakes on this Grist Train! I'll spend another action activating the Suck-&-Slice to draw in all the exotic particles/Grist being released by the Void Miner as it carves through the fabric of reality and collect them in the weird tank thing vacuums have on the back, then detach it and shake out all the Grist before putting the tank back. I'll then put the tank back to how it was - a LETHAL. KILLING. MACHINE.

I was going to spend all my actions mining, instead of two, but I have a better idea for my third action! I'll spend my final action researching in the Void Research Lab what 'Warp Attack' does, because I'm not seeing an attack stat for my friend here, only this cool modifier...

Also because I assume it won't use an action (if it does, ignore this!) I'll collect all the Grist in the Void Miner's storage. With all this I should have enough Grist for constructing the V.A.F. next turn!

Alchemies don't necessarily consume the item, actually! You're more than free to only use the item as a component and not infuse it into the end result of the alchemy, although this is normally what happens with direct upgrades of an item. So... to answer your question, no, you don't have to pull out a replica for alchemy, because you (assuming you want to) still have the original.

Preview: Graveyard Recycling Facility && Crematorium:
[LVL 8 - 50000 Grist] Crematorium Recycler:
A crematorium that burns the corpses of the dead, getting rid of excess waste and re-obtaining the Grist used to create them. Allows for an additional 20% of Grist to be obtained from killed entities. (This doesn't stack with the bonus from the graveyard.)

You assist the Void Miner and end up pulling in 10,000 Grist! (Additionally, you reset the Suck-&-Slice to it's original state - all the better to kill things with!)

Using the Void Research Lab, you're able to figure out that the Warp Attack can't deal damage in exact numbers, but the attack ends up revealing or drastically changing a factor of an entity. That factor could be practically anything - HP, Attack, special factors, or even alignment under rare circumstances. It's... a chaotic attack, to say the least.

Anyways... You do so, before the entire fortress... dodges? It literally... just moved to your left about a hundred feet or so out of the way of the beam. Surely this has something to do with the Godmodder.

Studying the machine instead of using it to collect Grist, you learn that there is... well, a shape to a soul, at least metaphysically. The main reason the Alternate Mind Vessel even works is because that shape to the soul is embedded within it, allowing it to fit. The only problem... well, you only have one soul. And with one soul comes one set of Player Actions...

You begin construction of a second, smaller Modder's Magnum! At this rate, you'd guess it'd take maybe five more actions to do.

Preview: Precious Grist x1000:
[LVL 15 - 1,000,000 Grist, 12000 Precious Grist] Preciousness && Grist
This is not cost efficient. At all.

You successfully expand your pocket dimension to contain as much space as you could possibly ever need! -1000 Grist!

Exod is empowered, gaining a considerable stat increase! -4000 Grist!

" I wasn't exactly looking at them as a grist source, but it'd ease my heart to know some of their secrets.

Honestly, I don't care if these things live or die. They creep me out. Power to you guys, but... yea.

Spacebattles.com's admin powers && a hammer

The godmodder's anime waifu || not being trash

A furbie && the concept of length

------------

Also, I don't quite understand grist? Is it just a vague measure of how powerful the things we make turn out to be, or is it like a resource we have to save up and expend to create cooler stuff?

Admin Powers && Hammer:
[LVL 7 - 30000 Grist] Banhammer:
A forum admin's weapon of choice in dealing with internet trolls, it takes the form of a rather large hammer here. More than capable of being used as a weapon, and deals an additional 8000 damage on an attack when utilized. Additionally, it has a small chance of banning entities outright that aren't from the planes as we know them - like the Shadow Beasts, for example!

The Godmodder's Anime Waifu || Not Being Trash:

[LVL 20 - 5,000,000 Grist, 120,000 Precious Grist] The "Ultimate" Waifu:
A female character from an anime that even the Godmodder would kill for... then again, that isn't saying much. Immensely powerful for the current standards of the Battlefield, this girl would definitely be something or someone capable of doing incredible feats.

Furby && Concept of Length:
[LVL 4 - 7000 Grist] Really Long Furby:
A Furby that appears to extend into the stratosphere. Thank god this thing is compressable... Anyways, it can be used in a variety of ways that involve the extension of something really, REALLY long.

For the record, you're correct in that Grist is a resource of the game that you save up! Along with gaining 10 thousand Grist at the end of every turn, you can also obtain Grist from defeating enemies and accomplishing major feats on the Battlefield. Additionally, a secondary type of Grist, Precious Grist, is obtainable, but difficult to get and impossible to make cost effectively with the current technology.
Additionally, welcome to the fight! You're at 3000 Grist (listed below in the Player List) and have the Really Long Furby, as that's the only thing you had the Grist to alchemize. Let me know if you have any questions!

__________

I build a Grist Collection Tower with all 3 Actiond.

Recipes&Inventory:
Staff of Withering
Bionic Laboratory
L.O.E.B.A.V
Sentry Turret/Drones
Scientific Sniper
War Engineer
Eldritch Lab
Unwavering Scientist
Grist Foundry
Dual Grist Froundry
Grist Reactor
Security Tower
Grist Pump
Shoggoth Cannon Clone Bay
Grist Machinery
Super Grist Foundry
Eldritch Assistant

With help from the War Engineer, you build the Grist Collection Tower and add it to your ever increasing Grist accumulation resources! This boosts the L.O.E.B.A.V.'s HP and the Grist per turn you get from the various features of your base.

absolutely nothing. isn't that a surprise?

A regular Canadian Axe && a lightsaber

a pseudo-dragon || my pet cat, Jager

a void beast && a generic sword

preview:
Minecraft monster spawner && the, uh, word(?) "owo" && a griffon
---------
ay! first post on spacebattles! please don't murder me on the spot

((OOC: Upon entry, you are immediately killed. That doesn't happen. Welcome to Spacebattles and the game, though! Let me know if you have any questions!))

Canadian Axe && Lightsaber:
[LVL 4 - 7000 Grist] Lightsaber Axe:
A strange combination of technologies, this axe has a blade of pure plasma while still having a relatively old wood and steel shaft. Deals 4000 extra damage on an attack it's used with.

Pseudodragon || Jager:

[LVL 3 - 5000 Grist] Familiar Cat-Dragon:
Though I'm not entirely sure what to call this hybrid, this would definitely be your cat combined with a pseudodragon. It's actually kinda cute, and could easily serve as a companion on this journey for you - while also being a bit more capable than just a cat. Once it actually exists, at least.

Void Beast && Generic Sword:

[LVL 6 - 20000 Grist] Shadow Spike:
The preview here shows a sword with a dark iron hilt and a strange, purple and black blade. Seeming to fluctuate and shift constantly, it's hard to keep your eyes on for a long period of time. Never the less, it's an effective weapon and can deal 6000 extra damage on an attack.

Preview: Minecraft Spawner && "owo" && Griffon:
[LVL 7 - 30000 Grist] Griffowon Spawner:
A spawner that spits out a Griffowon every two to three turns. Said Griffowon, despite looking extremely derpy, is a formidable foe for a mass-created entity.

.
(1x)I order Several Punch Girl to ignore the shadow beasts for now

(2x) while I board F-64 Arwing do a preflight check of its system and weaponry.
(3x) then I take off and began the aireral assault.

Several Punch Girl will focus on the fortress instead!

Boarding the F-64 Arwing and doing a preliminary check of it's controls, you're able to see that this thing is pretty usable while you're within it! Doing a "test flight" and checking out it's systems, you deal 28000 damage to the Snowspire Fortress!

---
End of Turn Battle -
All attacking entities on the field attack the Snowspire Fortress, out of there being nothing else to really attack! In total, this amounts up to 73,000 damage on the wall when every attack is combined! The Players inside feel the fortress begin to shake a bit from the impacts slamming into this thing every turn...

Steffan's factory does all the things, maintaining a steady fuel source and outputting another Concentrated Glyph Vial! Additionally, it gains 5 mana to put towards it's defense shield!
All of the charge-building entities on the field build their charges!

The Snowspire Fortress continues charging yet more! It appears like it's ready to send out a more massive wave of entities... be prepared!

Everybody gains 10000 Grist! I'm gonna try and do something here real quick, give me a second...

Okay... did that work? The Alchemiter should have a bunch of new addons attached onto it, allowing for much more versatility and different options than before! I've added the options I've installed into a note beneath it's stat block, but I've also made it so that you all can add more options to the thing as well! So... with that, alchemize away! I'm gonna add these options into the main rules post as well, so if you're confused, just look there.

Okay...so then. Runs hands together. first things first.

I'll start things off by previewing (free action) an alchemised Grit Refiner, to start churning some Grist into Precious Grist, at lvl 2.

Next I'll attempt to alchemise a lvl 3 military Headquarters as my starting base of operations (action 1).

Next I'll try to alchemise a small minor barrier around it at lvl 2. (Action 2)

Afterwards, I'll send my loyal Dire wolves to go out and scout out my current surroundings. (Action 3)

This is where I keep all the recipes I know!

Bug Repellant && Reality:
[LVL 3 - 5000 Grist] Void-B-Gone: A aerosol spray can to prevent voidic creatures from approaching a certain object. Can be used on a Player, entity, or building (anything, really) to prevent or dissuade such a creature from damaging them until it wears off.

Vacuum && Blender:

Grist Drill && Reality:
[LVL 5 - 12000 Grist] Void Miner: A massive drill composed of material sharp enough to drill through the void and enter into it's depths, plumbing for Grist and outputting 600 Grist per turn!(edited)

Labratory && Void Piece:

Suck-&-Slice && Void Piece:

Recycling Plant && Graveyard:

Universal Translator && Piece of the Void:
[LVL 6 - 20000 Grist] Translator of the Abyss: A small device installed with an obscure version of Google Translate, allowing the user to talk with the denizens of the Void in fifty different various languages natural to the space between planes.

Graveyard Recycling Facility && Crematorium:
[LVL 8 - 50000 Grist] Crematorium Recycler: A crematorium that burns the corpses of the dead, getting rid of excess waste and re-obtaining the Grist used to create them. Allows for an additional 20% of Grist to be obtained from killed entities. (This doesn't stack with the bonus from the graveyard.)

[LVL 6 - 20000 Grist] Voidic Candle: A candle emanating of energies within the void. Will draw void entities to the candle over time, allowing them to be sedated and possibly controlled. However, void aligned entities are known to be extremely hostile and attack anything on sight.
You direct the mirror at the Shadow Beasts, revealing a weakness of theirs... pets?
... I mean, I would imagine petting something from the void would hurt the pet giver more than the recipient, but... okay.
...My first reaction to the Shadow Beasts was to pat them and the only reason I didn't was to save up for the V.A.F., glad I went with my VOID INSTINCTS on this one! Truly, my voidic friends are watching over me from afar! ...Unless by weakness it means they will experience love and affection and no longer want to fight. Just like the new upgrades for the Alchimeter, they won't really matter for me this exact turn, because...

Ohohohohoho! It. Is. Time! I will spend an action mining grist via meditating next to the exotic particles released from the Void Drill!

With that, I should have enough to alchemize Voidic Candle && Rehabilitation Center && School: [LVL 9 - 75000 Grist] Void Acclimation Facility and connect it directly to my Laboratory and Miner, so that incoming creatures will be end up directly inside the Facility! Finally, culture shock shall no longer plague the poor Void races travelling to this world, and they will no longer writhe about, attacking allies and foes alike! No, now they shall focus on their enemies! The fools that dare attack them! The 'God'modder!

My final action shall be spent reversing the direction of the AA batteries inside my Suck-&-Slice, turning it from a sucker to a blower! Wait, that came out wrong. I'll then use my Suck-&-Slice on the Shadow Beasts to blow them directly into the Facility, right in time for the first class to start when the Cultists -Teachers show up! Oh, I'll also put my trusty Suck-&-Slice back to it's normal configuration after, my handy tool is still a weapon after all. Now that I think about it, the utility aspect probably comes from the fact that I alchemized two household appliances together...

...I should probably get back on track and preview something. Uh. One second, I'm thinking of something... I'm the Cultist Friendly Neighbor of the Void, that's my thing that makes me different compared to others fighting against the Godmodder and staves off the Curse, so it should probably be something related, but I can't think of anything that wouldn't be a strain on my borderline empty Grist Wallet... Oh well, I'll go with something I was thinking of earlier. Now that The Loom is online, it should make this easier. Hopefully. I would like to preview Comfy Cultist Robes && Spacesuit && Reality. Reality's insulating effect in regard to the Void should protect me from it if I ever need to enter the Void to make bigger friends or just study it closely instead. The Comfy Cultist Robes are just there for style. And comfort. Gotta look good while starting the apocalypse making friends! While I'm thinking about it, I should probably decide on a colour scheme for myself so I stay colour coordinated. The void is a sort of darkness right? Black goes with everything, truly the ultimate power, I can pick any colour to go with my void creatures and it'll work. I'll go with a rich purple, because it's my favourite colour and fits the aesthetic I'm going for more than, say... bright yellow would!

[Science] hungry visitor - 84,000 Grist
modders magnum

Huh, the beam seems to be not fast enough. The Godmodding seems to be able to bend natural laws too, and that on structures that are this big. Lets try it out. I aim at my alternate Mindvessel and attract godmodding. Man... human experiments have become so much easier, safer and potential payoff has been increased. Mindvessel was definitely a good investment.
I remember that one experiment that was supposed to give super powers and it actually gave them and the experiment ripping the lab into pieces and going on a powertrip. Man if I were in possession of the Mindvessel back then...

New functions of the Alchemy table? It conveniently lets me have a smaller modders magnum right away... now what do I do with this started project... ah heck I will try building a very small [Level 11 - 180,000 Grist, 1000 Precious Grist] The Mindmod's Magnum:
Oh look, a "The" was added. It allows for the magical usage of the gun through the mind, allowing for you to utilize it yet more efficiently. Deals an additional 15,000 damage when used as a part of an attack action, making it one of the more managable and useful Precious Grist-requiring items. You're approaching epic-level items here.

I am not sure it can even be built with the resources I have so far, but I guess if it is a smaller one it needs less resources. I need to embed my soul shape too... hmm... so if I connect... lets read what the Artificer's Guide to Magitech is saying about this. I read whatever the Artificer's Guide says to mindcontrolling magitech devices by using soul shapes.

Again, I try the same alchemy

Sash && Tenacity && Endurance:
[LVL 7 - 30000 Grist] Focus Sash:
A wearable item that protects it's user from 1-hit kills. Although more useful on an entity than a Player, it could be used on both.

I send 2 actions to the core.

I set my sash on the core

inventory:
grist writer ( write stuff with grist)
Firey Blowdart Gun, (2500 fire damage)
Spooky lantern, (lantern, heavy)
Musical postbox, (musical postbox)
Pen, (just a pen)
Dissonant trombone, (4000 damage)

I realize If I want a steady flow of grist without giveing up all my actions I'm going to have to make a significant investment, so I sacrifice 5000 grist to open a portal to a specific place in the nightmare realm, this place contains the nightmares of traumatized SBURB players, who's dreams are haunted by things from the game, including grist!
Final action
I figure that if my broadsword of rage was created through RAGE energy, that if I put it through 914 on the very rough seting I will get some pure RAGE energy, so I do that.

Canadian Axe && Lightsaber:
[LVL 4 - 7000 Grist] Lightsaber Axe:
A strange combination of technologies, this axe has a blade of pure plasma while still having a relatively old wood and steel shaft. Deals 4000 extra damage on an attack it's used with.
Pseudodragon || Jager:

Void Beast && Generic Sword:

Minecraft Spawner && "owo" && Griffon:
[LVL 7 - 30000 Grist] Griffowon Spawner:
A spawner that spits out a Griffowon every two to three turns. Said Griffowon, despite looking extremely derpy, is a formidable foe for a mass-created entity.

I declare myself Neutral. For now, at least. I can change alliances later, right?

A Velociraptor && HZD Scrapper && Grist
(something like a mobile grist collector, I dunno)

I then bring the Familiar Cat-Dragon into existence, unless if I don't have enough Grist. Then I'll just collect some more.

Then I'll finish up with making a shoddy Grist Collection Facility. It's probably going to turn out hideous and produce little to no Grist, but I'll leave room for upgrades. Because I'll need them.

Preview:
HZD Machine Cauldron && Planetary Annihilation Bot Factory
------
All the sci-fi games!

Infiltration - Sidequest 2-7
Illusory Reality Beam[Lv 2] Creates Hardlight Illusions, Paradox Wand[Lv 4], creates Minor paradoxes, All in One[Lv 3], actually has a tool for any purpose.Chromatic Shurikens[Lv 7] Does damage type based on colour. Aspected Multitool[Lv 8] Controls the 12 Aspects.

You move to the Main Hallway before anybody notices, proceeding to utilize this to your advantage as the Guards of area 3 are quite suddenly transportalized to the next room over! Though not enough to kill them, it's enough to preserve your stealth and free Alastair from a confrontation!

You additionally proceed to the Upper Hallway afterwards, maintaining your stealth successfully!

You move through Room 4, revealing a vast number of guards in the room! Since you look like a researcher, they let you through to the Grist Vault, but you find yourself being watched closely. Placing the syphon glyph here and now would not bode well for your survival... but you're still in the vault. What will you do?

Preview: Your Soul -O Shrink:
[LVL 15 - 1,000,000 Grist, 12000 Precious Grist] Shrunken Soul:
A soul, glowing with power... but much smaller than the average soul. It's level speaks for it's value, along with it's effects. Along with boosting the owner's health in sidequests and other events where tenacity is required, it also grants the user
one additional action a turn, making it immensely valuable. (... Okay, I knew the Alchemiter could do powerful stuff, but this is ridiculous.)

Items: Steel Swiftsword, Bag of Capture, Spherical Shooter, T-Rex Progrise Key, Jacker Gauntlet, GM Stress Applicator, Godmodder Brand Headache Inducer, Attaché Calibur
Grist:
Real Estate: Alchemiter Research Facility, Grist Outpost
Entities: Satellite Zea, Kamen Rider Vulcan

You attempt to take control of the fortress control systems, but find yourself hindered by the Godmodder's antivirus programs as they block the data packets from going through! A rude message is sent back to Satellite Zea...
The Godmodder: You're gonna need to try a little bit harder than that to completely take control of the systems. Heh.

Vulcan, despite his offensive capabilities, can't exactly do that kind of stuff. Even if he did understand the technology, he'd be pretty useless without some kind of assistance here or Player Power due to the complexity of the system. He can try, though!

Thanks! I've already upgraded the Alchemiter a ton, and I'll keep using these things appropriately! Let me know if there's any specific uses for these coming up that you want, or I'll just use them how I see fit to help you guys. Alright?

I first make Party Rapier && Epithet: Barrier
Then I use my remaining 2 actions to move to the room Alastair is in

Inventory: Oarred Longship, Blossom Bow, Shuriken Staff, Purple Dragon Belt, Paint Set, Party Rapier , Halberd Musket, Stabbing Cart, Solar Bat, Viking's Cannon Halblade, Tranquilizing Flintlocks

Party Rapier && Epithet: Barrier:
[LVL 7 - 30000 Grist] Barrier Blade:
A blade glowing orange with the power of Barrier. Can be used to create an Attack Shield once a turn, deflecting from the next oncoming attack!

You move to the same room Alastair is in!

While I speak, I use my three Actions to give myself a single Boot. This is completely important.

"By this, do you mean that if I don't surrender you'll take me to the Godmodder?" I ask amicably. "Because there is something I do wish to discuss with him! And I really would appreciate the help."

You have obtained a boot of extreme importance!

The Guards are unfortunately whisked away to another room through Paradox's turn, making conversation impossible!

---

End of Turn Battle -
The Guards formerly in the main hallway get up and return! They're too far south to really do anything against you though, and spent their turn getting back to here anyways...
The entourage of troops in the Vault Guard Room keeps a close scrutiny on Steffan and watch for intruders!

Maps -
