DtG: Destroy the Godmodder (The Broken Masquerade)

Round... 66. I think.
I blink. that was a pretty near eternal moment. Whatever. I wave my hand off in the direction of the Pebbletopia platform, and the pieces jump forwards to account for the progress that occurred in the... 'gap'. I believe it was Astrecs turn?
...also, the biosuit's specials forgot to uptick.
Phoning in the Facility, I mention that more drones are needed. Problematic, I know, but that 40th entity is still present. 10work points spent, summoning 2, and 2 clones! they pick up the weapons the others left off.
Glancing at the Iron Prince's projection, I shrug. "Not knowing why you're here doesn't matter that much to me at the moment. I'm not exactly fighting you."
"...Say. completely unrelated to all this, but... do you know the coordinates where The Cake was first sighted? I've had 'a thought'."

Action 1) Raising a hand, I remember eons past and yet so recently future. unsheathing the Circadian Circuitbreaker, I move forwards rapidly towards Entity 40, avoiding their every move with finesse just a shade beneath perfection, with a tempo just a bit maladjusted. I remember fighting someone else in a single slash of distant past or perhaps future, but I remember the same some million times over with every sort of variation. And there are similarities enough to fall into the pattern, though both fighters be so very much lesser. Duck, step left, cut. dart back a moment, jump. twist past a malformed swing and land behind, focus the blade and bite deeply into the side- but not too deeply. pull back, lean away from the pained reaction. slash at the arm as it swings past, and bring up a shielded leg to knock them off balance, kick off and create distance. let them waste their energy, ducking and weaving every-which-way,and leave 'marks', if the battle draws on long enough. death by a thousand cuts, of course, but also a coup de grace if the world allows; a mark for teleportation and be suddenly gone, then appear behind them for a shining slash. Still, This time I have not enough power to stop them, so instead at that final slash the red coats the foe and time locks itself around them, trapping the entity to delay them.
<TL;DR: Whittle down Entity 40 to leave it open for a time charge-based stunning effect for the round. This also is intended to do an incredibly small amount of damage, increased to 16,000 damage by the -armor.>
Action 2) as the battle ends for the moment, I sense my body and grimace. Wounded... If there was just something Alive to bleed I could fix that in an instant, but I can't. Not nearly so well... Still, I place a weary hand upon the injured sector of my torso, and some faint green-yellow light pulses over it, removing the corruptive influence so as to allow it to heal over some time.
Action 3) Lastly, I lift the Exotic Crystal and use it as a focus for energy, a sort of infinitely-inferior version of the binding stone of the not-dragon from earlier, in order to summon three exotic elemental spirits- one of fyre, one of wagda, and one of durt. Weak, but projected from an item and not a targetable entity.
ENTITY ORDERS: 2Drones attack with the hypersaber, neutron edge. a clone uses the hollow unbreakable katana, all targetting Entity 40. another clone attacks without a weapon, doing about 24,000 damage. The exotic elemental spirit of fyre attacks entity 40 for a bit over 16,000 damage. the exotic elemental spirit of wagda attacks entity 40 seperately for a bit over 16,000 damage. the exotic elemental spirit of durt finishes the sequence off by attacking entity 40 itself for a bit over 16,000 damage.

"What's this, a quiz? Where do you think Thanos was fought?"
Lacking arms to swing, Entity 40 actually acquires a pair from your actions. Despite this new development, you successfully disrupt their defense. 3 Damage to Entity 40. Stunned for 2 rounds(counting this one). 6 Temporal Energy Charges used, Tesseract Belt Drained.

Exotic Crystal used. New Elementals created. Orders given to existing entities!
Astrec holds out his hand, glowing white.
"You wouldn't happen to know anything about this, would you, Prince? A shadowy figure and a pillar of blinding light haunt my dreams, as do they seemingly with some of my allies. I have my own theory, but perhaps you know something about this, with your all knowing wisdom."
A syringe emerges from the Godarm, and injects some nanites into Astrec, healing him. If he's already healed, he just charges three CP. He readies himself for a fight against the remaining entity... Also, a drone takes some flesh samples from the Dark God's corpse.
"(Harkener, can I have the Thistle of Zillywich and my Ankh back, please?)"
"...Interesting. A white Hand of Judgement?" he says. "...That's new."
You restore 4 hp to yourself.
The Dark God's body is completely gone. The only evidence the he even existed in the first place is the sheer damage he's caused, and the streams we have of his destruction.

Harkener holds the Ankh up by the chain. "The symbol of Death herself, replicated by a cosmic mill..." He tosses it over to you.

Well, it seems that I'm now getting messages that this thread is more than 31 days old, and that continuing to post here may be considered spam.

For those of you not in the discord server, you all deserve an update as to what's going on right now:

I'm having problems with my ability to focus on getting things done.

I seem to have entered yet another involuntary hiatus, and that really sucks

I really want to get this story out. I really do. I hate that I can't keep at this game, because I truly do want this to become a reality
I will be continuing to try muster the energy to continue doing DTG. This is not the end.
#Ryft
I've finally managed to finish the update.

To the Sufficient Velocity Mods:
I am sorry for what seems to be reviving what is a dead thread once again.

I suppose I will be updating next Thursday, or at the very least putting an update skeledop there.

Thank you all for waiting, and I'm sorry that things have gone this way.

In addition, as of this round, I am going to discourage the creation of Artifacts. There are like 40 of them on the field right now, I think that's a bit much and I'm not entirely sure what to do with them right now. I feel that they might be detracting from the gameplay experience I wish to present, so in the meantime, try to make less, alright? Thanks.
#℧
I blinked. Woah, what happened...

(x3)Either way, a Universe is damaged and that's probably not a good thing, I call upon the powers of Sakkakh, producing plenty of Healing Wooden Tendrils from the Wooden Shield surrounding the Universe to begin patching it up a bit.
Branches grow into the patches of missing Light, forming a lattice of mathematical curves and patterns. 17,000 Light restored.
((IMO, I don't feel like this action is enough to do large numbers of healing. Do contact me if you think this number should be bigger, I'm trying to work out balance at the moment.))
Smirk reactivates his communicator, and begins to speak to P2. "Looks like the Dark God was defeated. Still feel like that was too close, but it worked out this time, at least. In any event, do you recall my request for a parley with Alethea? I will find a location to set for a nonviolent discussion, but I need to know if she will be willing to attend if I do before I begin setting it up."
He then moves to a cluster of wrecked drones. As he floats around, he finds a segment that seems particularly large. It then suddenly begins to bend and reshape into a a large circular platform. He then floats over and stands on what one would best describe as the floor of the platform, and reaches out his hand. Various metals, mainly silvery in color, begin to pour out of the nearby drones, looking like cords of liquid metal. These cords all flow towards his hand, and then begin to form a relatively small staff with a sharp point at one tip. The other side appears to be almost funnel like in shape, with a nearly flat square at the end.
"we are absolutely willing to have a parley," says the Second Praetorian. "the question is whether you possess the authority to do so"
Already, the drone-attack ships are corroding into Voidstone. Taking the best bits of metal, you make yourself a staff.
Hum a meta-data damage has wiped the memory of Hungry visitor 0 (!) - Hungry visitor undefined.
Error Report: Massive [being too late] of the game master. Volatile Memory can't handle that shit.

To reform all the Hungry visitors form into a giant mech and calibrate the weaponry systems on the Godmodder.

Missiles upon missiles, the gaps between missiles are filled out by invisible lasers that invisible because they are strong enough to set people on fire that are watching this planet from another planet. The discharge of the active cooling system leave the space behind the bot in a turbulent storm that sends lightning everywhere. Then the big explosion happens.

...

yes it is still going on.

...

no it won't stop.

...

Calibration complete.
After a good minute of continued explosions, the systems are calibrated. Wait is that a giant bomb?

"Hostile."
The DAI bombs the giant Hungry Visitor mech for attempting to steal the bomb.

But the mech just stops the exploding bomb in time, throws it at the godmodder and then releases the stopped time.

yea I guess this is a big explosion.
Before I can stop you, you throw and detonate a massive explosion directly in the Godmodder's face. Even from where you are, you can feel the void around you getting warmer.

The resulting fireball stays suspended in the centre of The Godmodder's fleet. Spitting out the Second Praetorian, three eyes float to the surface of the newly-manifested Fire Elemental: One blue, one yellow, one grey.

As the ships clear away, Ixis Mageye moves to engage The Godmodder and two of her Praetors.

Oh thank goodness.

[???] Ixis Mageye. 300/300 Hp. 33 Armour.

[GM] The Godmodder. 49/80 Hp.
[PG] The Second Praetorian. 17/80 Hp. 10 Armor. Worf'd. [A] The Axe. Strong Power. Control over Fire?
[PG] The Fourth Praetorian.

The Third Praetor watches all of this unfold.
"You see this? That's exactly what I'm talking about. I don't want to see any of you pulling stuff like that near populated areas."

I have the drones hunker down and hold their positions.

In my ship, I focus and administer healing to myself.

Neither I, my ship, nor my entities will interact with the dancing soldiers.
You heal yourself for 3 Hp.
Astrec laughs.
"We aren't stopping here. We will defeat you, prince. I may respect you, and your end goal is worthy, but this war must not go on. We will defeat you."
"We shall see."
Nerà asks his two companions if they are ready to take off. Regardless of their responses, he proceeds with explaining the plan.
The enemy invasion has begun to overwhelm the numerous-but-limited skeletal and magical forces the empire keeps within the walls of its nation's cities in the prime material plane, and have even managed to reach the heart of the empire. Their technology is defeatable, but with difficulty from our forces. What we need to do is split the amount of work for our forces to deal with.
Off the table are the divine planes (a common enemy would allow them to unite: too dangerous), the feywild courts (we don't want to aggravate them), Mechanus and the dragons (who are currently occupied), the farland and farsea nations and any occupants of the astral plane.
Instead, we should try and invite some of the other larger factions to this brawl. Both the dwarves and the unserdark's denizens are valid warrior factions. The untamed monsterwilds aren't united enough to make any move against us, but if we can trick any enemies into their territory the monster will certainly attack them. Lastly, the Red Rebellion is perfectly capable of attacking anywhere we allow them to teleport their armies into, as proven before. If we lower our defences in the right places, we can hopefully trick them into joining this fight for good, making a three-way that should eventually fall into our favour.
Bringing all of these factions into the battle appropriately will require a mixture of politics and brute manipulation, and juggling these will be our primary challenge. I plan on calling on other allies (and hopefully some of our new voidic friends) to aid us in our new quest. Your jobs to begin with will be disclosed shortly. First, though, I have something that must be done...

Sidequest start!(?)

Nerà spends their round's actions casting crown of stars on both companions, providing both with a few floating fireballs that they can throw at enemies as a bonus action.
Sidequest Permission Granted!
This is an activity available to all players.

Ishmael nods slowly, and raises a hand. "Question: Where do we need to go, and what do we need to say?"

You cast Crown of Stars, granting them further damage buffs!

Entity 40 is stunned.

The Pipe Orcan plays three high-pitched notes at Entity 40, dealing 27 Damage total.

I don't think anyone else ordered any entities, so this round is finally over.

Round 67?
//fair, i'm not putting a whole lot of Creativity into the action to help avoid tangled shenanigans

i ask the void around me: "Quick question, what are we supposed to do again??"

(x2)I engage Sakkakh and give it an Answer to Life that is 42, while this enhances it's healing actions it also has a side-effect of rebooting a Universe, however, this temporal energy bend to my will, speeding up the mathematical Infrastrucuture of the Wooden Tendrils as they heal up the Universe.

(x1)I redirect a wooden tendril to impale Entity 40, on the way invoking Mathematical rules, Infrastructure and some alternate Physics to impale him from in front, behind and inside him.
On one hand, you could just advance into the Universe and locate the The Third Praetorian and fight him head-on.
"Which is a terrible ide-"
Did I ask for your opinion?

As you invoke 42, the scion rumbles in your gut. The healing energies you spread congeals into bronzy arrangements of gears and plates dripping with black liquid starlight.

AN AMORTAL OF SILICON AND STEEL KNOWS NOTHING OF LIFE>
ITS ANSWER ASPHYXIATION<REDUCTIONIST<SAD>

On contact, Entity 40 burns the tendril away. 5 Damage, but 15,000 Damage to The Shell.

"Your attempt there is Doomed, prince. You can negotiate such agreements individually, but we are no Army. This is a loose collection of people all vaguely doing their own thing being bent against your aims through conflict and unexamined premises. I've seen this sort before, and attempts to find a leader will be futile."
"Regarding Thanos being fought... I'm afraid I don't actually know. Oh, I know all sorts of things about How he was fought (and my oh my was it a pricey occurrence) and who fought him, and how nonsensical he was... but I never really bothered to check the coordinates. Since I thought you might know, and talking is a free action, I thought I'd ask."

Placeholder.
The Iron Prince considers your words.
"In that case, Universe M616. There you go. Your answer, addressed to you as an individual. Happy hunting."

-, File.3 --.;
After finally taking over the giant mech, the DAI looks around. Eventually it comes to a simple conclusion: "Entity Advantage: [Heavy AG]"
The implants inside of the demons are now activated.
DAI colllects data from the environment using scan tech. (1 action)
DAI starts building grey goo using the demons as material. (1 action)
DAI backup servers replicate themselves. (1 action)
You are currently next to a Universe that has lost a significant amount of it's Light. The surrounding area has a slightly-higher concentration of metal than most of the Void, due to the sheer amount of ships destroyed a little while ago. Said metal is slowly corroding away into Voidstone, so if you want any, it's best to act quickly.

20,000 Hp worth of Demons are turned into 10,000 Hp worth of Gray Goo. The Iron Prince watches this unfold.

"You mean you've seen others? I hate to call upon your for this, but I myself have no idea what is happening here. It.. seems to want me to "ascend", whatever that means."
Astrec draws upon the powers of the Thistle and Ankh, materializing a lollipop of pure reality energies. He licks it, restoring HP with the power of haha funny ZILLYNESS.

"I know of two other people who have had a six-fingered hand like yours, and those were both black. One of them died smoking Thyme in an attempt to make himself immortal a few thousand years ago, and the other is paralyzed from the waist-down. As far as I know, you are in new territory."

Using your two artifacts, you generate a Monochromatic Lolly. You manage to lick it once before it abruptly disintegrates. 11 Hp restored.
Ugh, fine.

FOCUS:
I put together a Telepresence Drone out of a hologram projector, a basic drone casing including a hover unit, and a two-way ansible transmission array. Strictly speaking I wouldn't need to use ansible-based methods of communication, but I don't want them to find my ship.

I release the Telepresence Drone into the woods, making sure the soldiers don't see where it came from. I have it move close to the drones and then engage telepresence to try and open a dialogue. To the soldiers, it'll look like I'm standing in front of them.

From this closer vantage point, I take the opportunity to note any insignias, emblems, rank patches, or other distinguishing marks on the soldiers' uniforms. Meanwhile, I'm trying to open a dialogue.

"Excuse me. I'm looking for the Foundation; would you happen to know where to point me?"

If they become hostile, I have three of my Void Drones decloak and attack. Otherwise the drones remain idle and unseen.

As you make yourself known, the soldiers ignore you, continuing to dance in unison. There are no insignias, no identifying symbols, no nothing. Just Dancing Soldiers.

The Demon Army retaliates against Hungry Visitor for 12 Damage.

Low on energy, Harkener opts to explicitly heal himself.
"Not in a very creative or imaginative mood. I'm tired, alright? Don't judge me."
No impressive displays of exotic languages, intricate sigils, reagents called from thin air, practiced hand gestures, nothing. Just the will of a Descended forcing themselves to be healthy again, Formerly-open wounds reseal without a trace. Like those of Conduit, torn clothes knit themselves back together.
"I've always wondered how that logically worked, actually. Are they just using a limited form of converting aligned matter into something else, and it only extends to things in their very close proximity? Are the clothes actually technically part of them now, which is they can remake them with whatever element they're made of?"
Thanks. I didn't really need that mental image.

The Pipe Orcan, Drones and Clones gang up on Entity 40, and finally stomping it to death. Flashing red, it slowly fades away.
+5 AG Morale.

In the Forest, the Soldiers stop dancing. At the same time, the bottom half of the Void VIII + I stops existing. You fall to the forest floor. Your drones focus-fire on one soldier, taking them out, and deal 14 Damage to another.

Round 68
"Alright, thanks for the help, and good luck on your endeavours. I'm heading off."
Before leaving, I lean over to Astrec and yell in their ear "HEY ASTREC! IT'S STILL YOUR TURN IN PEBBLETOPIA!", and nod politely at Harkener.
[1x] I pick up some clay from the ground and roll it into a ball. After I have a big enough ball of clay, I punch a hole in it, then seal the hole, resulting in a Hollow ball of clay. inside the ball of clay is an ME spacial storage cell. I throw the ball at the drones, the clones, and the crystal-based elementals' crystal, transfering them into the expanded space within.
[1x] Having rendered my resources portable, I create a ring of plates around myself and tie them together with thread. Then I start running on the plates like a hamster ball. soon enough, I have to sprint to keep up with the momentum of the plates, but the hamsterplateball starts accelerating on the course I've found leading to M616. Also, I don't actually have to sprint because soon enough there's no objective gravity and I can just float in the middle of my Platemobile, which I start attaching rocks to. I pour some tea on each rock, creating many tearocks, and move those letters around to make each a rocket. With many a rocket attached, the Platemobile speeds up significantly.
[1x] I also cast a few simple force aegis spells on my Platemobile to guard it from enemies when I arrive. I'm not looking for trouble, but its likely to come find me.
You pack your things and go. The Iron Prince waves as you go on your journey.
"Best of luck!"

DAI comes to a second conclusion. There is nothing up here to be desired. Corrosion will be a danger. After analysing the corrosion, DAI covers the bot with a layer of protective color. Restructuring the whole thing into a good old orbital bombardment satellite.

Grey goo: automatedGrowth.target(demonArmy)

DAI improvement facility founded.
Improvement Facility Summoned! The Nanobots will continue to eat at the Demon Army!
"Damn. That was a long shot anyway, but I hoped.."
Astrec shakes their head. They channel Mind Energy from the Ankh to scry the planet below, seeing what the situation is out there.
Using the Ankh as a lens, you break through the normally-obscuring Light to look at the universe below. Technically occupying the same space, images of various Planes of existence overlap each other. Godmodder Forces are concentrated in two places in particular:

The first is the Prime Material Plane, where machines are slowly, but inevitably marching towards taking over the planet. Ships float above major population centres, casting massive shadows over the cities.

Meanwhile, the Seven Mounting Heavens of Celestia are engaging in total war. Angels slowly give way to wave after wave of automatons as they rise from the depths of the Silver Sea, it's waters blackened by Nanotech designed to hedge out any one who tries to Plane Shift in. At the forefront, a castle on wheels rolls up the slopes, slipping and sliding between planar layers as it makes its way towards the top of the DImensional Mountain.

Beneath that mask, I'm sure the Iron Prince is smiling.

"Alright, change of plans," he says. "What would it take for the rest of you to not come down here? We can make deals, agreements, bargains. Let's hear them. Alternatively, you could just enter. After all, I can't actually stop you from doing that. So, what will it be?"

Orbital Satellite: scan(enemy)

Improvement Facility (1): ...Bionic Hivemind... progress: 20%
Creating Improvement Facility creator
There are no real enemies to scan right now. Right now, the only thing that's PG-Aligned is that Projector Drone over there.
That being said, you create an Improvement Facility Creator!

[1x] seeing as other quests have encountered resistance, it occurs to me that I ought to prepare for such confrontations as well. To do this, I enhance the durability of my plates. To do That, I start tap-dancing on them. rule of weird (which may or may not exist) says that the rotating plate-spaceship with a tap-dancing man within it won't have the plates just Break from the tapdancing because that would be narratively unusual in the micronarrative described. From there, Consistency means that however hard I tap-dance on my plates, they won't break; and if anything hits them with less force then my tap-dancing, it obviously won't work. I rapidly increase the force of my Tap-dance as I travel, increasing the durability of my plates.
[1x]Next I'll want a way to retaliate. I mean, I already have a few good ways- you know, drones, clones, elementals, my own biological mech-suit- but none of those really mesh with the idea of a man tap-dancing his way in on a platemobile. So instead, I make what appears to be a piano. If one looks closely, it has no keys. I start playing it anyway, creating a pleasant smooth melody of piano music overlaid with tapdancing. This music is designed to use magical and non-magical means to make people calmer, less hostile, and more easily confused into innaction (by way of seeing a tap-dancing man in a platemobile is playing a piano, a quite bizarre occurrence.).
[1x]And- oooh, there's an idea. this side-thing'll need preperation, though. I conjure myself a small ball of whiteish fuzz to start off preparing it, and stuff the ball in my pocket.
You add Music as a Field Effect, and increase the AC of The Platemobile!

Nerà teleports into a base miles away. He grabs a rod out of a stunned servant's hands and teleports away. A shorter distance away this time, he kicks open a closet and rapidly dons a magical crown before teleporting away. At his next location, a single command word causes bonedust to coat Nerà's form before he teleports away. He appears before an Auma who is currently teaching his retainers how to cast Eyebite. Nerà grabs a few of the trainees and teleports away. At this point, the teleportation ring on Nerà's finger is beginning to burn him with overuse, but he ignores it. He appears, finally, before a gnoll lord on his throne of bones.
Nerà disintegrates him.
Several Gnoll followers of the Yeenoghu shake their shock off quickly and move to consume Nerà, but the mages (who came about rather quickly given the rapid teleportation without explanation) blast them to pieces. Nerà magically magnifies his voice and shouts "'Monster King'. I know who you are. I know your plots. Your ploys. Your schemes. Your nature as horrific fusion between Illthid and Fey. You abominations. You twofold manipulators. You false and fallen kings. You who twicefold strive for dominance. HARK.
I haven't the time to waste with petty politics with puppet rulers. As we speak, an Iron Prince from the Voidic Sea beyond the Great Wheel invades Mount Celestia. His metal automatons- the likes of which Primus knows not- scour the shores and climb the cliffs with a ravenous determination that would make these Gnoll's deity cower in inferiority. I know that your end goal is to reestablish the mindflayer empire in the Astral plane. I know that my struggles are normally of no importance to your 'eldritch goals', but I implore you. Without my people to maintain the balance of the Positive and Negative planes, there will be no Astral plane to conquer. There will be no Gith to enslave. There will be nothing but empty arcane spilling out into the void, our worlds destroyed.
Face me, hivemindcoven. Face me, eyes and ears of the true Motherbrain. I wish to negotiate.
"

Auma and Ismael are met by an imperial mage whose glossy eyes indicate that his body is currently being puppeted by a foreign mind (likely a higher Auma). Its mouth opens, and from it comes... information. Pure, not in any real language, but still transmitted verbally somehow. Ishmael is informed of the political situation of the Neràverse. Both of the are also informed that they will be sent to meet with the lord of hell for negotiations.
They are then teleported to the deepest plane of Hell.

The Gnoll lolls over in his throne, crown falling to the ground. Tendrils of psionic slime slither out from the four holes in it's skull. Wrapped in a veil of eerie green light, The Voidmind regards you with an intelligence very much unlike that of a Knoll.

"SSUCH INNDECORROUSSNESSSS, LITTLE EMMPERRORR. OUR MINDS ARE... OPEN."

"Wait!" Ishmael holds a hand up, stopping his teleportation. "I need to make a withdrawal!"
Running up to the safe, he scribbles something onto a notepad, and takes something out. "All good, let's go."
And with that, he teleports to Nessus with Auma.

If we could see the Third Praetorian's feet, they would probably be tapping right now.
"Yes, they are! Well, any takers? No? In any case, I'm leaving next round. If you'll excuse me, we have a world to save."
The Improvement Facility Creator will help with HV's Charge Next Round. In the meantime, it ticks up to 40%.

((Because nobody part of Foundationquest has posted, nothing happens.))

The Platemobile gets closer to M616. It trips a Voidmine, which bursts open with a Fire Elemental which is quickly cut down by the forces onboard. You've entered a minefield. Best move slowly.

Overtaking the Projector drones pathetic defenses, the DAI explores the database of the Projector Drone.

Improvement Facility (1): ...Bionic Hivemind... progress: 40%

Improvement Facility creator (1): begin Construction: Improvement Facility (ID:2) progress: 0?%

Creating Improvement Facility creator construction center
As you open up the Drone, The Prince laughs, hologram intermittently flickering. "You'll find nothing of value in this proxy."
The Projector Drone holds no databanks. Only a camera, reciever, transmitter, and miniature drive, the last of which is heavily damaged.
A star falls from the sky into a universe. In it, machines besiege the Seven Heavens of Celestia. The Iron Prince hard at work.

The star continued to fall until it landed somewhere important. Someplace the Operator felt important.

The former star, now revealed to be some sort of escape pod, split open to reveal a person inside. He opened his eyes and looked up to everything above.

"Thank god that's over with."

He gets up, rubbing his goofy anime hair about. He looks this way and that, until...

"Aha!"

He picks up a towel. He wraps it around his waist, acting as an impromptu style accessory. It is the same color as his shirt - white. His pants are the same color as his hair - black. His shoes are a mix of both.

"Always good to know where your towel is. Now... let's see where jettisoning from an Infinite Improbability Drive gets me."

He examines his surroundings with a slightly fake smile.

=======================================================================

Action Summary:

Action - Summon the 'wrecked escape pod'.

Bonus Action - Examine Surroundings

Special - Join the game as a HGttG character? Or, at least, one from an alternate timeline to their canon, judging from the hair alone? Fuck if I know - all I know is that they had access to an Infinite Improbability Drive before jettisoning from it.
Oh, dear. A stranger with no stake in this battle whatsoever!
"Oh, wow! Perfect! Would you look at that! Amazing! How incredibly fortunate! Truly serendipitous!"
Escape Pod added to the battlefield! You land on the slopes of a mountain. Dwarves look up from their fieldwork, farming in the valley below. A white cylinder floats above the peak, generating similarly-white machines which crawl about, transforming stone to metal. Above even them, spheres of whirling rings are being repelled by guards with spears.

One of these Clockwork Orreries warps in next to you. "State your business."
"Nothing you can give us will stop us from going down there. Unless you're willing to put a end to the war."
Astrec leaves a drone to relay whatever the Prince has to say to him, then turns and zips down towards the surface of the planet, heading for the biggest concentration of Praetorian troops they can see.
"Bye."
As you descend towards the planet, another Clockwork Orrery warps up next to you as well. "What is the purpose of your visit?"
[1x] I, the tap-dancing man, take off my shoes. I am still wearing shoes, so I take off another pair of shoes. And another. And another. Soon, I have a quite large quantity of shoes in one hand, and am, of course, still wearing shoes. I throw the shoes forwards, then use some telekinesis to make them orbit the platemobile at a fair distance. I then increase the speed of my tap-dancing, and the shoes speed up their orbits. After a fair bit of acceleration, the shoes are spinning fast enough that no mine will get past them without getting hit first, causing future mines to detonate further from the platemobile, and so not deal any damage.
[Entity Order: I instruct the clones and drones not to kill the fire elementals, and instead knock them away while we forge ahead faster then them, if possible.]
[1x] As I tapdance, I also conjure a small horde of miniature floating paintbrushes, which get to painting all of the plates. Soon enough, every last plate is painted to look like a cake, for obvious reasons.
[1x] I shrink the ball of fluff I made earlier.
You add a field of shoes around you to keep the mines away from you, as well as paint the platemobile to look like a cake.
[1]
As you saw on Discord, the Elder Brain and I had a close contention ending in my victory like the boss I am. Absolute legend, me. Anyways, a casting of Dominate Monster later and the Motherbrain (and by extension every Elderbrain, Hag and Illithid on the material plane) is under my command. By extension of controlling the Monster King, the gathered hordes of unaffiliated minor nations of monsters that they collectively controlled also work under a proxy banner of mine, for a while at least. But a while is all I should need.
Telepathically, I order them all to rush the United Dwarven Tribes. Sure they're prepared for the average drow raiding party or stray slime, but the collective underdark plus every monstrous beast that roamed the overworld flooding into their halls unannounced? It will be a slaughter.
No need to worry about them any more.
[1]
(meanwhile, I also communicate with my, ahem, "Recruiters" to go "recruit" what are certain to be a whole hell of a lot of bodies into the skeletal workforce. This will certainly be relevant later.)
[1]
Now, to teleport into the halls of New Ostoria. The new All-Father is actually of interest to me, as are the skill and power of his people. I shield myself from what is likely to be a surprised lightning bolt or two from teleporting into the halls of the most important of all storm giants, and then do the teleporting.

While Auma begins casting a ritual, Ishmael is left to do the political discussion with the lords of Hell.
You successfully dominate the Mother Brain. Their network is now yours, and then-
I.... I don't know how to feel about this. Why? Why attack the dwarves?

Following this, you teleport to New Ostoria, breaching countless otherwise-fine Dimensional Locks.

Meanwhile, Auma and Ishmael find themselves on a bridge outside of Malsheem. A parliament of owls circle the skies above. Accompanied by Horn-Devils, they are flown to the top of the tallest tower of Fortress Nesuss, where Boccob, Lord of the Ninth awaits.

The God of Magic sits on a desk piled high with books and scrolls. He addresses without so much as even looking up.

"Yes, yes. Auma. Nerà, I know you're listening as well. What do you have to say?"
As Auma ritualizes, Ishmael opens his mouth, only to be Silenced by the Lord of All Magics.
"You are Incapable of Magic. Know your place."

The Projector Drone sputters. "Well, it seems our time together has come to an end. See you in Celestia."
+1 AG Morale

Nothing else really happens. The DAI Improvement Facility ticks up by 3? ((I forgot to increment last round))

JOE Continues to approach his destination, and Ishmael soundlessly splutters at Boccob's nerve to just mute him.

Astrec darts back and scans the Clockwork Orrery. He summons a spear of light in his hand and points it at the Orrery.
"I come to fight off the invading forces of the Iron Prince."
Clockwork Orrery Armillary. 25 Hp. 3 AC. 5 Regen.
Attack: 40,000.

Mass-manufactured border guards present in universes under the protection of Primus, Clockwork Armillaries maintain the internal balance of a given universe, keeping track of extradimensional travellers.

"Understood. He poses an immeasurable threat to The Balance of these planes. Your assistance is welcomed."

In exchange for increasing the hosts metabolic consumption 50%- requiring them to eat 50% more food- it integrates with their biology and modifies itself to, in conjunction with the host, fulfil as many magic system's requirements as it can, granting them access to Magic. This particular specimen has been tied to a jetpack and aimed on the path cleared through the mines, aiming towards Nera's universe, and from there, to Ishmael.
[1x] I carefully paint and solidify parts of my ball of fuzz until it has two anime-style eyes on it.

Armour Increased to Maximum!

The Symbiote merges with Ishmael, but Boccob does not dismiss the Silence.

You continue to work with your fuzzball!

The man smiles politely even as his trained eyes gauge the relative strengths and likely powers of the Clockwork Orrery.

He takes the towel off his waist, folds it a little, then places it behind his head. His head leans into it with each hand pulling an end slightly forward. The towel, notably, is wrapped around each hand, allowing for it to stay firmly in his grip.

"I crash landed here on accident through something that was, quite literally, infinitely improbable," He speaks frankly. "Is there something the matter with my presence?"

=======================================================================

Action Summary:

Action - "Summon" the Towel as an... Artifact? If so, then it's to boost the power of utility (read: noncombat) actions at a rate best befitting game balance.

Bonus Action - Scan the Clockwork Orrery

"This world is contested ground," the Armillary explains. They aren't wrong. "For your well-being, I can take you to your desired destination."

If you want an explanation from me: The Third Praetorian has launched a direct assault on the Heaven of this Universe. Because he's barred direct travel to the plane, we need to find a way to bypass his defenses.

Clockwork Orrery Armillary. 25/25 Hp. 3 AC. 5 Regen. Blast: 0/2. Dispel: 0/3.
Attack: 40,000. Mounted to the top of the Orrery is an Onyx torso bearing six arms, each brandishing a weapon.
Blast: The Armillary has a link to the Elemental Planes, and can channel those energies into a focused stream.
Dispel: The Primary Mechanism of an Armillary grants it's ability to freely travel wherever it wishes. In addition, it can also produce a pulse which nullifies all magical effects in play.
PASSIVE: Hemophile. The Armillary's weapons are designed to inflict bleeding.

Smirk continues his conversation with P2, "I intend to convince the others to attend, and will set up a truth field so that they won't think anyone is speaking in bad faith, nor will they be able to speak in bad faith. I simply needed confirmation of your willingness to attend, should they do so."
He then begins to construct a room around him (void shielded, of course), of a clean looking white, with a nice marble column design, and a spot at the center that his staff looks to fit in. He places it into that slot, before beginning to chalk in a magic circle around the staff itself.

"I will speak of this to Alethea."

You begin constructing a Neutral Ground!
I bow my head slightly towards the Storm King, in an unparalleled display of reverence.
"Surely, the wise all-father of all giant-kind needs not the words of an elf for them to be aware of the sure times upon us all, and so I shall waste no time with the the formalities of a political discussion. Now is not the time for it, and so I come to you wasting no moment.
You know, certainly, that since I penetrated the shell of Neutral Energies that encompasses the outer planes a new sea, dubbed the Voidic Sea, full of other shelled planar systems of entirely different weaves of arcanum.
The ships of steels unknown to the finest firegiant that descend upon our worlds are of these other systems, and threaten us all equally. I myself have fought the Navy of this Iron Prince before and know of the threat they pose. Separate as we are, it is insurmountable. I present to you the opportunity to take what I know of this menace and lead with the full force of your most potent of people's a surprise assault on the enemy before they finish with their current prey and can move their focus to you. Apart we will fall one by one until none can stop them. Together we might defeat them, and come out of this not only alive, but with a pact of adamant bindi g together an alliance that will shake our opposers to their cores.
"

Auma being the snarky jerk he is, just winks at Ishmael to keep talking while he continues his ritual.

The Storm King considers your words. Raising his hand, he presents a pile of crushed holographic drones. "We have already been made aware of this threat you speak of. Their spies trespassed in our territory, and were dealt with accordingly." He sighs. "My people seek autonomy, Nerà. This is a world ruled by the strong, and you are the strongest. It stands that you would benefit the most in a crisis such as this. Forming an alliance is different from establishing trade relations. Think on my words, Archmage. You'll have your coalition."

...Well.

Ishmael shoots Auma a glare.

Winkins regains invulnerability, and is summarily removed as a Battlefield Entry because he isn't holding an artifact.

Boccob looks up for the first time to address Ishmael. "Do you know what's just happened? You've been given a jumpstart, a second chance from your mistakes. A second chance you don't deserve. You had the chance learn magic like everyone else, but you chose not to. Your peers are years ahead of you. Who do you think is willing to teach someone as old as you? Even if you were accepted, how long do you think you'll live? Your days are numbered. You chose to be nobody. You have no dedication, no drive whatsoever. That is why you are a failure. You are psychologically incapable of greatness. That is all."

He dismisses the silence, once again turning to his scrolls.

[1x] I conjure a new fuzzball. This one is somewhat smaller then the first was originally, but larger then the first is now.
[1x] I accelerate my Platemobile further, adding new shoes to the defensive field of debris as necessary.
[1x] After some thought, I decide that Symbiote I created for Ishmael was a Great idea! With a bit of focus, I conjure another such symbiote, but in a different stage of its life-cycle. Specifically, the Symbiote enters this stage in its life-cycle once its host is sufficiently powerful with magic and several years have past, at which point it causes the host to feel an unusual and slowly increasing lethargy. The increase is slow so that, if the host is in a life-threatening situation, they will be able to escape it first. After the host gives in to the lethargy by not doing much for a while, the Symbiote puts them into a magical sleep and crawls back out of their body. Using the magical power it has drained- only power that would otherwise be wasted- over the years, the Symbiote creates as many eggs as it is able, then reenters the host; In total the process takes less then an hour after the host acquiesces, and the Symbiote will serve the host faithfully for the rest of their lives afterwards. The other way the Symbiote enters this stage, though... if the Host dies. when that happens, the Symbiote flees, then roots itself to a spot, and remains in the egg-laying mode until it wastes away.
This all goes to say that I've just conjured a Symbiote engaging in replication, which is sort of like a small tree that grows more symbiotes, and I throw it through a portal (conjured from nothing with magic of course)to the Facility. I wonder if they'll be able to get anything useful out of it?
Technically speaking, this is a different Symbiote species then the one inside Ishmael, because I hadn't designed this stage of the Symbiote lifecycle at the time of conjuring, and I'm not going to try and reach my powers across reality to Ishmael. So His Symbiote is stunted, unable to reproduce, but that shouldn't be a problem.
Fluffball created, speed increased!

"Mature" Symbiote added to The Facility!

Astrec, after scanning the thing, shrugs and drops down, continuing on the path to the Iron Prince's forces.

He also tries to contact Nera, beaming out a light telepathic signal searching for him and Ishmael.

You successfully locate Nera and Auma, but fail to detect Ishmael, despite him being right next to the latter.
Oh? Sorry about that. I keep myself guarded at all times.
Nevermind. He's opened a link to you.
Not too sure what I should say to someone like Boccob. You got any suggestions?

The man thinks about it for a moment.

"Well, I supposed I can ask for directions. But I'm not leaving yet. Not until I check to see if some friends of mine are here - dead or alive-"

He turns. He thought he heard someone, but that wasn't possible. At least, not conventionally.

Hitchiker's universe was full of improbable things. He focuses just a bit...

"Well, if you want to take me somewhere - take me to the local Heaven - if my friends ended up here and died, then their souls would be there. I'm sure of it, if there's any justice here."

Even so, he notices something. He unconsciously uses an Action to reveal any nearby Dwarf forces being Genocided, since they don't appear on the stat sheet.

"Unfortunately, Celestia is currently inaccessible due to current events. Would you like to search similar Planes?"

Hm? Interesting...
There isn't any visible violence from your current vantage point, but if you're interested in knowing, troglodytes are assembling in numbers and organizations unheard of deep below the surface.

"Wonderful, my liege. I am certain that you will not regret joining beneath my banner, All-Father. To begin with my grand strategies must be put into motion with your people to help. Currently, the conglomerated forces of darkness are moving to destroy the United Dwarven Tribes in their hovels. My mages will take their corpses into our fold while the souls of the monsters join their demonic masters. While my armies are bolstered by these new undead numbers, you will be mobilizing your forces to aid mine. Mages of mine will communicate with your generals to maximize the efficiency of this mobilization, and soon the material plane will have a sizable defense against these invaders."

Since the Silence is dismissed, Ishmael is free to distract Boccob for a little while longer while Auma completes their ritual.

I suppose I don't have much left to do, personally, besides make my way to visiting the Raven Queen. I planeshift into the Underfell.
(The Fire Giants work on their forges, with the weapons and armor they produce being teleported by mages to the Armies of Frost Giants descending from the north to help out The Empire. Cloud Giants take to the skies, paired off with mages to create a vast network of fairly well defended heads of military strategy. The Stone and Hill Giants are rallied and sent to aid the Empire as well, while the Storm Giants gather from across the plane.
Groups of necromancers prepare to teleport into the battlefield between monsters and dwarves to raise the fallen once the battle ends.)

The Storm King nods slowly. "Yo͟u͝'́v̀e p͠la̴nn͝ed t͞his ̷wel̢ĺ.͏"
Your surroundings desaturate as you enter the Underfell. You are met with a short, squat skeleton wearing a flame-red hoodie.
*well well well. What do we have here? he chuckles.
*a human?
*no, an elf.
*we dont get many visitors around these parts.
*you see.
*they call this place the underfell for a reason.
*we've been outlawed by the queen.
*it's been nice talking to you, kid.
*goodbye.

A sphere of fire ignites in the skeleton's left eye socket.
...You're about to have a bad time.

((Since the players in the Void aren't really doing much, I might archive them for later.))

Astrec descends further towards the planet. You come across a a field where an Iron Colossi struggles against a massive airborne serpentine machine. Beneath it's feet, Iron Golems fight against alien-looking robots. The advance of Nerà's forces can be clearly seen by the burnt field behind them. It looks like they were handling the Fire Elementals quite well, but the robotic portion of the invasion force is proving to be more of a struggle. Beyond the Serpent, a circular gateway half-sunken into the ground reveals images of a certain foreign bright mountain location. Celestia. You've found a gate! Now you need to capture it!

How To Play:
Cetus's Stats are currently obscured. You'll have to scan the new foes it introduces to figure out what each of them do. Keeping an eye on the entities it summons is important. Don't worry if Cetus is too much to deal with right now. I think I might just open up the game a bit, let you mess around before you actually face THE SPINE. After all, the group's is a bit scattered right now. Maybe it'll be more interesting with allies? We'll have to see.

Finally, Ishmael speaks to Boccob.
"First of all, shut up. What the hell."
The Uncaring God continues to write.
"As someone who used to work with the Iron Prince, I can assure you that he is one of the most dangerous people in existence. I have seen him lay waste to entire fleets by taking them over from the inside. He is more than just a man who uses technology. He will always do one thing, and at the same time accomplish something else in his hidden agenda. His physical ability is just the tip of the Iceberg. I strongly urge you to beware of the Third Praetorian."
Ishmael slams his fist on the table, sweeping the books off the desk.
"Metal and Madness, are you even listening!?"
Boccob stands up, lifting Ishmael by the wrist.
"Harm."
Necrotic energy courses through the ex-snipers' body, reopening old wounds, reacting to simultaenously detonate all seven spheres of his Crown of Stars.
"Never do that again."
Tossed aside, Ishmael slumps to the ground, blood running down his neck. Crawling out of his throat, the symbiote curls up and dies.
"I... I see darkness..."
The Uncaring God narrows his eyes.
"Silence. Once again, you've lost your right to speak with me."
Calling his staff to his hands, he presses it's crown to Ishmael's chest. I... I'm not going to describe any more of this. Needless to say, Ishmael has lost his ability to do magic. Permanently.

Boccob sits back down, wordlessly retrieving his books and scrolls through telekinesis.

Meanwhile in the Underfell, Nerà senses his surroundings visibly brighten.

JOE's getting closer to his destination. I can only hope it's worth the wait.

((Too bad. Now you have to deal with SANS UNDERTALE.))

#themountainthemountain
Smirk begins to chant an incantation to the magic circle. The incantation has two purposes. It first installs a zone of truth within the building he is crafting. It secondly will also create an aura of peace, which will effectively work as a hyper version of the sanctuary spell upon all who enter, while also causing them to feel incapable of directly attacking.
Zone of Truth erected!
Astrec drops down from the sky, landing amongst Nerà's troops.
"Don't worry! The Descended are here. Some of us, at least. We got held up in orbit, but we're going to stop the invasion."
He raises the godarm, and summons a spear of light, using it to blast back nearby robots and give the army a chance to breath, for a moment. He tilts hs head to look up at the beast in the sky. He scans it and one of the robots near it.
"..who's in charge here? And what do you know about that?"
Cetus. 783,000/864,000 Hp. 6,000 Armour.

Let's see... Oh! We have files. Pulling them up....

Well, this is certainly different.

You impale one of the Spartoi through the chest with an explosive spear. 10,000 Damage, 3,000 to the others.
[1x] I make another minor modifier to the symbiotes(this being easy to do to all of them at once, with Ishmael's distant Symbiote dead)- namely, a special, extremely defended 'control switch' which will only work for me, allowing me to take shut down symbiotes, useful if anyone with such a Symbiote opposes me. The Symbiote can't Possess its owner, but it can inform them that they will have their magic benefits shut down if they oppose me (or don't do whatever it is I ask), which will be quite an incentive. I intend to not use this feature at any point in time where I am still possessing this body.
[1x] I push a fair amount of elemental magic into the Reproducing symbiote I conjured last round, giving it the energy its reproduction would normally obtain from a host's excess, so it will produce more of its kind.
[1x] I shrink the new fuzzball, the same way I shrunk the previous one, and to the same extent. I now have a medium shrunken fuzzball, and a small shrunken fuzzball.
[0x]Since the platemobile is nearly there, and it was my Speed I increased instead of its distance traveled, I wait patiently for the platemobile to finish its journey at its heightened speed.

The Symbiote begins ovulating.
Ah. The miracle of life.

In other news, you finally arrive at your destination!
Auma finishes their ritual, connect to every other Auma across a plurality of planes.
At the Gate to Celestia, one of the mages flying over the battlefield and guiding a small army of undead warriors suddenly stops what they're doing and flies down to the frontlines where @FlamingFlapjacks has landed. While the squad they were leading is disintegrated by laser fire, the mage introduces themselves to the Descended as Auma. "But normally I look a lot cooler. This is one of my weaker bods."
They're the closest thing to a leader on this battlefield right now besides "that dude who died a century ago and the letters he keeps sending us," but that there's no time to waste on this battlefield. As they speak, an Empowered Gate opens on the battlefield leading directly to Boccob and the other Auma.
"You, Descended. Take the Iron Golems with you. We have giants to back up the Iron Gear and our soldiers so don't worry about us. You'll know what to do there."

As the Iron Golems and (presumably) Astrec walk through the Gate to Boccob's layer, Auma reads the Scroll of Foresight, ready for some aggressive negotiations. The Iron Golems all scan Boccob. The Iron Gear scans Cetus.

I cast Command Skeleton on the dumb Sans knockoff, get on its shoulders and fly us both up to the surface of the Shadowfell, ready now for real to make my way to the Raven Queen. While piggy-backing on Sans.
Auma places the Iron Golems under Astrec's command.

Boccob's guards bristle as the Iron Golems enter Nessus. The Archmage himself looks at the battle against Cetus, seemingly intrigued by what's happening.

Sans dodges your spell.
* did you think i would just stand there?
* you'll have to do better than that.

Harkener descends down to universe, Pipe Orcan in tow.

Dark spears manifest around the Spartoi What was the word... Dory! Those are Dories! Thank you JOE.
The Minotaurs pound away at the Iron Gear's feet, dealing 12k Damage Each. Cetus itself impales it's tail in the Iron Gear's shoulder. 75k Damage. As it does so, small white... teeth? cells? fall from it... Interesting.

The Iron Gear scans Cetus a second time:
FEATURES
+ Wide Beam. Strikes multiple targets.
+ Levitation. Immune to ground-based attacks.
+ Cell Carrier. Actively summons new foes.
+ Piercing Tail. Ignores armour.

So that's what they are. Cells. Take them out before they get out of hand.

Meanwhile in Nessus, Boccob watches Astrec and the Iron Golems walk into his tower, and stands up. With a wave of his hand, he dismisses Auma's Gate. "I see how it is," he says. "Very well. Reaving Counterspell."
In a burst of light, Auma's scroll vaporizes into energy, only to be pulled towards Boccob to surround him instead. Foresight stolen.
"Meteor Swarm," he continues. Four crystalline spheres swirl about his outstretched palm. As they strike Auma with pinpoint accuracy, electricity arcs Astrec and the golems. 11 Damage to Auma. 8 Damage to Astrec. 3 Golems slowed. Shadowskin destroyed. With their Spiked chains, the Horned Devils pull apart one of the golems.

As Ishmael groans, the remaining golems scan Boccob.
Scan 1:
[N][ELITE] Boccob, The Uncaring. 40/40 Hp.
Mhm.

Scan 2:
5 Armour. Immune to Magical Effects, that's known.

Scan 3:
Polymorphed: Assuming the shape of another entity.
Disguise Self: Can appear as a certain specific person.

...This isn't Boccob. No matter how powerful they seem, that's not Boccob.

His spell stolen, Auma's Foresight is invalidated.

Meanwhile in The Underfell, the Skeleton sends a flurry of bones towards Nerà, somehow only dealing 1 damage.
*heh heh heh.

Round 73
Astrec tanks the damage and smirks. They flip the Ankh, on its chain around their neck, and mutters a word to it. The ankh fades out of existence for a sec, and in its place around twenty grey scrolls drop into the Godarm's hand, levitating up. He points at Boccob. Each scroll activates in rapid succession, ten Anti Magic Zones overlapping Boccob at once, and a array of mass produced counterspells countering him. Astrec then draws the Thistles, and slams them into the side of the Anti Magic zones.
"See, Corn Cob? Magic is fake as shit."
"..I'll be honest. I don't really know who you are! But Nerà seems to be at odds with you, and I should try helping out my allies for a change."

Conjured from the Thistles, a blade of licorice appears in his hand, which he flings at Boccob, nailing him in the head. Astrec then jumps back and summons them into his hand.
Boccob takes the blade to his head, and rolls his eyes. 10 Damage.
[1x] Having arrived at the universe, I quickly get my bearings, looking around for any of the scenery I saw during the Thanos fight, and fly forwards in my Platemobile, making a beeline for that location. There are some entities Cake Guy would have taken with him, but...

The Laboratory and Voidship are- were- both listed under my command, and CGOC myself put myself into stasis moments later, to await this time. Also, kind of hard to drag a lab around with you. I've done it, but it's not the easiest of tasks. So those, I think, should be here... Though I'm not sure if the Lab's strength would be as high as it seemed before. Science is advancing all the time, after all, and there was nobody to man it and keep pace with the times.
Most important, though? the Voidship. At least, that's what I'm here for. and Cake Guy didn't really have much interest in it.
[1x] Not that I can't take a moment to deal with CGOC, of course. I send an immaterial, and as such incredibly fast, spark of consciousness forwards to tell my other Body it's time to exit stasis, causing it to do so. ...Keeping control of this body while I'm controlling that one is going to be a Pain.
[1x] Before the spark can actually get to CGOC, and as such while I still definitely have control over my own self, I attach the two fuzzballs together, then shove them into a concealed extradimensional space so the other me can't mess with them. He won't even know they're there, I hope.

Wait, you were Cake Guy?
You walk where you fought Thanos 62 years ago. The place is empty, cordoned off to prevent visitors from disturbing the landscape. You search for the Voidship, and as you do, a group of soldiers train their rifles on you and your entities.

"So you've finally returned," says a Voice. "Let's have a Quiz: What do you get when you mix Adrian Celstus with The Baker's Dozen? We're about to find out."

The Iron Golems charge Boccob, violently grappling him and breaking his ability to concentrate on spellcasting and also forcing a concentration check to maintain the shapechange.

Auma fires a quick twinned spell at both Meteor Swarm scrolls, bringing them to life for a moment before they cast themselves directly over Boccob. The fire damage should heal the Iron Golems while the physical (not magical) source of damage should be beyond Boccob's immunities.
Auma tosses Astrec the Orb of Delphi.

The Iron Gear leaps into the air, grabbing Cetus by its tail and pulling it downwards.

I divine Sans' nature with my truesight, and then I cast the undodgeable Magic Missile spell at Sans, peppering them with darts of magical energy.

You strike sans with Magic Missile! The skeleton coughs up... ketchup?
* ah.

...What a non-battle.

Smirk continues the enchantment, making pulling a dove and olive branch out of nowhere, before they seem to fly directly into the staff. This makes the field have a secondary effect of negating people's willingness to attack someone directly while in the zone. To translate, while in this zone, you can think of doing things outside the zone, but it erects a mental block on the concept of attacking people while still within the room.
Further safeguards added to Zone of Peace.

The Grand Alchemiter falls through the Atmosphere, still deactivated. While Smirk builds his Meeting Zone, the rest of the Descended up there do their own thing, I guess. Can't make any of you really do anything that you wouldn't want to....

As the Minotaurs continue to pound at the Iron Gear, the Spartoi throw their Dorys towards it as well, dealing 84k Damage in total. It's incredible how much Armour the Colossus has. Following that, the Spartoi generate another volley of Dorys. Cetus spears the Iron Gear, fishing for a nonexistent core within it's solid-steel chest. Another 75k damage. As Cetus' Cells sprout into Asphodel, more fall from it's scales.

"What do you think? Should I get involved? I really shouldn't be fighting your battles."
Sighing to himself, Harkener pulls himself towards onto one of the Spartoi. Acclerating time in a sphere around him, he takes it out in the blink of an eye, pulling it's mechanical head free. Tossing it aside, he alters the trajectory of a Dory, sending it flying towards a Minotaur, dealing 20k. The Pipe Orcan toots at the other Minotaur, a Spartoi, and the Observation Drone, destroying the last of the third. Grabbing Cetus by the tail, The Iron Gear throws it to the ground, pinning it beneath it's feet. 80k damage.

Down in Nessus, a Horn Devil takes out another Iron Golem, while it's partner summons 3 devils to their side, who prompty charge Astrec and wink out, a result of the Antimagic Field.

From within the Antimagic Field, Boccob glows with an unnatural light. "Did you seriously think this could stop me?" he asks Astrec. "I am a deity," he says, ignoring the counterspells trying to stop him at all costs. With a hand darkening by the second, he makes a finger gun at Astrec and utters a single word:
"Hellball."
The sound of the sphere moving through the air made everything else seem quiet in comparison. In the blink of an eye, a miniature sun lives, dies, and goes supernova. And then there was Light. The Heat and Electricity was felt first. They moved faster than the sonic shockwave that followed. The acid came last, the fundamental compounds needed to create life. A blackened sphere drops with a thud where Astrec used to be. 4 Damage to Auma and Boccob. Lunar Authority Wand broken.
Astrec killed.

Boccob's subsequent teleportation with "Dimension Door," generation of a Rod of Construct Control, and subsequent takeover of an Iron Golem seems almost anticlimactic.

The Clockwork Orrery moves to protect where Astrec was. "I have been assigned to maintain balance. That was uneccessary."
"I determine what is necessary."

The remaining loyal Iron Golem attempts to grab Boccob only to miss. Taking up Ishmael's scroll, Auma successfully strikes the God of Magic with 6 Meteor Swarm spheres. 18 Damage to Boccob. 20k Hp healed to the Iron Golems. Slowness removed. Because Astrec is dead, Auma fails to toss the Orb of Delphi towards him.

Ah, no. I thought my phrasing made things clear... No, I wasn't Cake Guy. you might have noticed his, er, style? of speech? Doesn't really match mine. I can see the appeal for flavour, but I don't write like that. He talks all caps like, you know? But there was someone Else... someone very connected to them, who did speak quite a lot more eloquently, and was quite a bit more reasonable.
No, I wasn't Cake Guy. I was Cake Guy's Cake. And then his Other Cake. If you want the full history lesson on what in the fork happened, I'd like to wait on that until I'm out of combat. Ahem.
[x0] I scan the Bakers Dozen.
Entity Order- FREE: Drone 1, Scan the bakers Dozen. Drone 2, Scan the Bakers Dozen. Clone, Scan the Bakers Dozen. Clone 2, Scan the Bakers Dozen.
Wagda Elemental, Scan the area for anything else I might have to deal with. Fyre Elemental, likewise, same for durt. Especially be on the lookout for a thirteenth member of the bakers dozen, per their name.

[1x] "The Correct answer to your question is 'You get a Bakers Dozen of Cakes, possibly formed from the corpses of whatever was refered to as a Bakers Dozen originally'. At least, That is what I Suspect, considering the recorded strengths and feats of the absent Adrian Celstus- though I've heard he goes by Cake Guy nowadays."
"However, it is also a question whos follow-up is devoid of relevance to this context, and likewise itself is such... unless you're labouring under a very specific misaprehension. Ah, and here's a trick I learned somewhere else- Whatever I say in Red is the absolute truth, and where it false I would be unable to say it."
"
{I} Am not Adrian Celstus, Cake Guy, Pastry Paladin, or any other alias he's taken up, Nor do I have any sympathy for his goals"
"
Honestly, this should be obvious. Cake Guy is not Subtle. They do not give formal and somewhat derogatory answers to thinly-veiled murder threats. They do not inhabit a body with mixed Sanguine and Silvery hair, crackling with oblivion in their veins and outfitted and lugging along a dozen items of weaponry or defence. They do not use words like 'Sanguine'. These are all things which they do not do, to my knowledge, and which you should be able to see I do within this very conversation."
"I
suppose what you Could call me is... an opportunist. It is opportunity that brought me into being, an opportunity I would later take. There is no such thing as a Telos, but if there were, mine would be opportunism. I thought there were powerful relics to be found here. And though I know not where they are now, or how strong they are, I believe there is a very good chance I would be able to take control of two thirds, or perhaps all, of them."
"
Now that this little misunderstanding is cleared up... I will give you Two real options."
"I
am a reasonable man, but I am not a Forgiving man. It seems to me this was all a misunderstanding, and I do not bear ill will for that. So, since I would like to get things over with and not to seek silly revenge, your first option is to simply leave, and not darken my interactions with this world in the future."
"
Your second option is to help me locate the threeish objects I seek here, and in this case I will reward you substantially."
"
And the Third option, not really an option if you're sane, is, of course, for you to be fools, as fools are wont to do, and to attack me for some reason I cannot fathom. And I must stress one thing is certain: If you do this, you will die. And your Souls, whether ye be good or ill in general, will not be safe in heaven or hell. They will be rent for simple, loyal fuel, like so many pieces of coal. But more then that, no matter what you do when attacking, You Cannot Kill Me
. You would waste your lives meaninglessly. And so I must repeat in the strongest possible terms that this third option is a fools choice, and that you should not take it. But for all I can rend your beings, I cannot make sure you will choose differently, not without paying a price. So for that, I have but words."
(The Action portion of this Action is to guarantee the Sanctity of the Red Truth.)

((((OOC Note: this is not a part of my text in the action itself in the update terminal, but is here as a disambiguation about why some of these things are true. the result of mixing adrian celstus to the dozen is irrelevant because he is not here. R!JOE doesn't actually value cakes as a terminal value, so he has no sympathy for those goals. {I} means R!JOE specifically instead of the JOE universe descendant, and is specified because the universe descendant thing might be adrian('s source of power?). Cake Guy isn't Subtle. I genuinely don't know where they are because they aren't where I thought, and I don't know how strong they are in new update terminal terms since science advances ever onwards. Rewarding them substantially is a commitment. Killing them is partially commitment, and partially just a mention that they aren't immortal. They can kill the body or the mechsuit, but killing R!JOE, the consciousness possessing the body temporarily, is impossible for them because he's possessing it, but doesn't depend on it. plus they can't kill descended.))))
[1x- Conditional] If the Bakers Dozen chooses option three, I use Light on the Bakers Dozen.
[1x - Conditional] if the Bakers Dozen is still alive and chose option three, I use Oblivion on the Bakers Dozen.
[2x - Alternate Conditional] if the Bakers dozen has decided to help out, I conjure a variety of useful materials and a bunch of money for them. For the money, I instead teleport all the money that would otherwise be physically damaged into uselessness in the past week to me, and restore the damaged ones to servicability.
[2x- Alternate Alternate Conditional] if they're just leaving me alone, I scan for the energy signatures of Descendancy, the Soul Gem, Conceptually Imposed Materials, or what I remember of the Laboratory.

ENTITY ORDERS: If the bakers dozen chose option 3 and survives my actions, all entities attack, and I purchase 6 drones (and note it's been more then 5 rounds since resumation iirc, so it should have at least 35 points), which will also attack. Drones do not bodyguard me unless the Biosuit goes below 25 HP.
If they don't chose option 3, or don't survive, my entities can probably mostly idle, and the Facility, if it has 40+ Points, will spend them on Clone Researchers.

Everything is silent for a moment. "...Shoot. This isn't him," says the voice. "Forget we were ever here. Silver Cookery Pastries out."
And with that, the Baker's Dozen are gone.
You continue scanning for remnants of the Thanos Decimation Crisis, but there's nothing there.
62 years have passed. I think what you're searching for has already been found and taken by someone else.

...Since you've charted a safe path here, I can bring you back to the battlefield instantly. Do you have anything else you want to do before that?

Also, you add more Clone Researchers. This is the maximum it will go up to.
(I added +35 points. I'm also not entirely sure what to do with the facility TBH))
Smirk pulls out a security camera, a monitor, and a microphone, and begins a secondary enchantment. This one simply informs people when someone breaks the enchantment in some way, generally by circumventing it to lie. It also has several redundant checks for the case of someone tampering with the sensing enchantment, placed far enough apart within the enchantment's energy that one would have to know of all of them to successfully avoid it informing Smirk and any others within the zone.
You continue to lieproof the area!

Iron Gear's face splits open, four pseudo-mandibles separating in a manner terrifyingly alien. Accompanying the action is a monstrous roar that strikes terror into the hearts of all foes. Iron Gear's mouth closes over Cetus' tail. Its hands impale the spine's sides. It begins violently pulling the enemy creature apart with raw, arcane, inhuman fury.

The remaining Iron Golems try again to each restrain the impersonator, not dealing damage but instead guaranteeing the next attack going through.
Unable to case spells, Auma resorts his body's inherent abilities, flooding "Boccob" with the light of 20 suns as channeled through the Swissarmyknifemodder.

[1] The skeleton warriors under the imperial banner focus on clambering onto Cetus' grounded, writhing form. They will be chipping away at its health now over time. It's not much, but it's honest work.

[1] Hey, how *are* those giant reinforcements coming along? At least some should be being directed to the current battlefield once they're ready.

[1] How's that invasion of the Dwarves going, too? Good, I hope.

I cast Animate Skeleton on Sans'... well, skeleton. I get on its shoulders and have it fly me to the domain of the Raven Queen. I said I was getting a piggyback ride. I will not be denied by some common corpse.
Entities ordered!

As a reanimated skeleton of a reanimated skeleton, Sans never had the ability to fly in the first place, and is thus unable to fly.

I can't stop you from ordering an invasion, but I can refuse to tell you it's results.

Once again, the Spartoi throw their Dorys, striking the Pipe Orcan and Iron Gear. 60,000 Damage to each! The Minotaur break down the Iron Gear's feet, knocking it off balance! 20k Damage. Swaying with the wind, the Asphodel washes the battlefield in a glow of red light. Spartoi, two Minotaurs and Cetus healed for 20k! Cetus spears the Iron Gear one last time through the kneecap. Critical hit! 150k Damage. Cells continue to fall onto the Battlefield, those already there maturing into Cerberi.

Harkener orders the Pipe Orcan to attack. One Minotaur, Spartoi and Asphodel each down!

"So uh, I can petrify something. Double its defense, but halve its attack. If anyone has a target in mind, I'm open to suggestions."

With an almighty roar, the Iron Gear tears Cetus' tail off. 120k Damage. Tail-attack removed! On the ground, Cetus takes 10k damage per round!

Meanwhile in Nessus, an Elemental Forms from the Meteor Swarm flame burst. Due to the Antimagic FIeld, it begins winking in and out.

The Horned Devils wrap their chains around Auma. 8 Damage. Boccob fires a Disintegrate at Auma, followed by generating an Arcane Sword. 15 Damage. His Subverted Golem fires a Glibglobink Shell at the other remaining Golem, altering it's magic resistance! 60,000 Damage.

Auma's Iron Golem grabs ahold of Boccob, his spells boucing harmlessly off of its surface. Channelling his body's power, Auma burns Boccob with pure, unadulterated light. The skeleton of a massive fiendish owl burns in a pool of molten iron. Boccob's sword remains. The Parliament continues to swirl in the skies above.

Astrec comes back to life.

JOE's entities do in fact manage to scan the Baker's Dozen. None of them had any identification whatsoever, no entries in the database. They are capable spellcasters, but not Gods.

In addition, your drones successfully scanned their hidden 13th member. Good thinking.
