preface

this is an archive of the long-running Destroy the Godmodder series of forum games, specifically the tradition ultimately deriving from Moniker/TT2000's original mcforums post. this was originally started because of mcforums' crumbling infastructure, but I've started adding things proactively now too.

this archive was taken in bits-and-pieces over the course of many years. the original version of the archive was kinda shit. I fixed it the best I could.

if anything's fucked up, or I missed anything, please tell me! I'm on XMPP and email. I'm on multiple DTG-related discords too but I don't really use discord anymore, so, your choice.

also, use an ad blocker!!!! unless you don't want to ig. I'm not your mother. yet.

bugs

• some mcforums posts are lost entirely. DTG2 used to have more than 1337 pages, but this archive was only able to capture 1335. there isn't really anything that can be done about that. sorry.
• spacebattles and sufficient velocity archives don't have fully functioning threadmarks. if you wanna see all the threadmarks, reader mode is your best bet. apart from that it's very finnicky.
• interthread and intersite links do not take you to the archived page. use this index file instead.
• DTG: MSPA edition (from the chocolatepi forums) is lost media. :(

I would heavily recommend only accessing these files through a web server, even if just locally. there could be security issues and archive bugs otherwise (though I tried to make it work as much as possible). I use darkhttpd on linux; ya don't need anything fancy.

also, I chose to remove some previously-archived material in v2.0.0 that was originally captured by accident. if you want to relive some 2014 non-dtg mcforum memories, feel free to scroll through that old archive.

don't bother with the WARC links unless you know what a WARC is. you aren't missing out on anything.
