+1 SPC. Packo feels like a different person altogether.

The battle is over and Ette gives Packo a cookie and a pat in the head.

"Thanks. We need to talk." As soon as the battle ends, Packo gathers Beep and Boop and stuffs them into the roller. Then, he moves towards the Dueling Hut, hoping no one but Ette follows him to be able to have a conversation.

As he arrives there, he starts speaking, bluntly, at that.

"I'm never going to go back home." Packo doesn't cry, but his voice breaks easily. "All of Licheria wants me dead." He says, trying to look as cool as he can. But then he breaks into tears just a second later.

"I k-killed my b-best friend... And I didn't even realize until now..." Sitting on the floor, next to a wall, the baker seems to be silent now, probably thinking about his friend.

"Smart... I am sorry... I am sorry..." He mumbles every now and then. Seems that Packo is really really depressed at the moment.

A quick glance towards Ette shows his crying face. "Y-You should get away from me... I can't even trust myself anymore..."

From Packo's newfound revelation of the death of his friend Smart, his Trait changes.

Trait: Cynicism [Level: 2 / 3] (#cd7f32)

If you were not targeted by any ally in a round, you gain a stack of Distrust. At 4 stacks, automatically enter Arrogance during one turn, spending all stacks you have in return.

Distrust: Every stack of Distrust gives you Empowered1 and +1 HP Regen.

Arrogance: Gain Empowered4 and Focused4, but transfer all AC and SHP directly to MHP in a 2:1 rate, rounded down.

Modifiers:
+1 HP Regen per 5 SPC (Cap of +3HP per stack.)
+1 Empowered and Focused Intensity in Arrogance per 8 STR, 8 SKI, and 8 SPC (Cap of Empowered6 and Focused6.)
Worldly Isolation at 10 SPC. (When untargeted by ANYTHING in a given round, automatically gain 3 stacks of Distrust.)[/i]

Additional notes: Entering Arrogance is fully automatic as soon as 4 stacks are reached and cannot be avoided. You lose all stacks even if you have more than 4.

Packo's special requirements are also changed.

Thanatophobia Field

Fills by: Dealing Damage, Taking Damage (x2), Getting Downed (x100)

Grant Divine Shield to you and your allies within Range 1.
Inflict Fear5 on all foes within Range 1-2 for two rounds.

Modifiers: -3 required SP per SPC. (Minimum of 120.)

+1 Weaken Intensity per 4 SPC. (Max of Weaken5. Lasts for the same duration as the Fear.)

+1 Fear Duration at 11 SPC.

+1 Divine Shield Range at 15 SPC.

SP required: 220

Adrian approaches the cyan-haired woman emerging from the portal. "Welcome back, I guess. Everyone seems to have missed you."

He walks up the stairs, and opens the door to the green room. "Hey, the monsters are gone."

Adrian +1s his SPC.

Boshi +1's his MP.

Because Venia is researching it, he also replaces Tumbling Walls with Blade Rush.

---PRE-TELEPORTER---

Boshi was sorta tired from the battle, but at the same time, his adrenaline is keeping him going. After all was said and done, he sticks around near the portal for a bit, guarding it, and shaking in anticipation as Venia, Crya, and Nezira enter.

---POST-TELEPORTER---

Nia, Venia, Crya, and Nezira exit the portal. Boshi was relieved and overjoyed that Nia came out of this relatively alright. "(Oh thank god I thought today wasn't gonna get either bit better...)"

---

After a conversation involving Brutishace, Echoss, Nia, and Chloe, Boshi beckons the former two to follow him to the basement.

A Chance (ft. Echoss & Brut)
Boshi walks to the back of the basement, past the Cache, tailed by Echoss and Brutishace. He turns around, the same expression on his face.

BOSHI: (...So. Here’s the thing.)
BOSHI: (Echoss, I’m almost certain you know things that I might want to hear, and know about all the stuff in relative detail.)
BOSHI: (...But as Brutishace is more than likely not aware in the slightest, hold tight while I explain it all to him, alright?)

Echoss nods. Brutishace leans in his head to listen.

BOSHI: (Alright. Brut, listen close.)
BOSHI: (You know how I travel with Hat Kid most of the time, right? And how I haven’t been doing that recently? There’s a reason for that.)

IAWA: Yes, go on?

Boshi exhales. A hint of frustration can be felt from him at this moment.

BOSHI: (...Well, it’s because I physically can’t.)
BOSHI: (Before the reset, someone did something to her. I feel like Echoss could answer what exactly is going on with her, but the big thing that should be known is...)
BOSHI: (...Well, you know how we can’t see, hear, or interact with ghosts in a physical sense, without magic allowing us to do so?)
BOSHI: (Basically, we’re like ghosts to her. Can’t see or interact with anyone. Likewise, we can’t interact with her, but we can still hear and see her.)
BOSHI: (...I don’t really know what to do in this situation, to be honest...)

IAWA: Oh, that sounds like a dreadful situation…
IAWA: Hmm, if you say we’re like ghosts to her, then maybe I have something that could help.
IAWA: In my time, I’ve performed a few seances and communicated with ghosts a few times, so if you say we’re like ghosts to her, then maybe I could help?
IAWA: I’m not 100% certain, because I’m not sure how exactly the reset put us out of her perception.
IAWA: I think it’s at least worth a try, however.
IAWA: Does Echoss have another solution?

ECHOSS: Not a solution as such, I haven't been able to take a proper look at her yet.
ECHOSS: All I know so far is that she is not undead, her life force seems mostly okay, and that her current condition involves spatio-temporal tampering of some kind.
ECHOSS: I don't think the reset itself is the cause, it might be involved but I think there is something more at work.

BOSHI: (...Spatial, huh…? That’s… concerning. Explains why just a time piece wouldn’t work on her.)
BOSHI: (But Echoss is correct; it wasn’t the reset that did it. In fact, it was only a means to an end. That said, I do know the force - or rather, the person - that decided that doing this was even remotely okay.)
BOSHI: (A scientist named Adria.)

Boshi’s voice shook with hatred as he spoke the name.

BOSHI: (Long story short… she has an unhealthy obsession with Hat Kid. I don’t know why, or what her end goal is, for the record, but what I do know is that she’s chased us throughout our adventures.)
BOSHI: (First I’ve known this was happening was back on Creation. By then it was already too late; red text boxes, like those found in futuristic programs, were appearing behind her head, detailing… alterations, of sorts.)
BOSHI: (And when the reset happened, her position didn’t reset. So she plummeted back down to the planet. That’s when I found out about the inverse-ghost stuff.)
BOSHI: (And yes, she landed safely despite all this, thank god.)

IAWA: Hmm, that seems like a predicament...
IAWA: Is there anyone at all who can contact her in this state?
IAWA: We might not have much time before Adria gets her hands on Hat Kid.

BOSHI: (Yep, we’ve at least got something to communicate with her.)
BOSHI: (Her best friend, Bow Kid, was also down here for whatever reason. She helped me upgrade the Hat Kid plushie to allow her to hear us, so long as it’s nearby.)
BOSHI: (...Though I’ll admit it’s more of a band-aid solution than anything else.)

ECHOSS: I made a little headway into making physical contact with her myself, earlier tonight.
ECHOSS: It will still take quite some work but I may have some ideas to start. As for Adria…
ECHOSS: I doubt she can pierce the thymefield properly, which would leave her at a disadvantage against us. If she were to somehow disable it she'd have some nasty surprises waiting for her planetside.
ECHOSS: I will keep watch over Hat Kid though, she seems to appreciate the company besides.

BOSHI: (...Thanks, Echoss. You’re doin’ god’s work there, my friend.)
BOSHI: (...Forgot half of the people here could wipe the floor with her once the thymefield is gone, though.)
BOSHI: (Still, doesn’t change the fact that I’d rather not have to deal with her bull
gorilla in the first place. We’ve basically got a time limit on this, and it’s pretty much the same time limit for the Sphere to go off.)
BOSHI: (...That’s the hope, anyway.)

Echoss nods affirmatively.

ECHOSS: Very well then. I'll take a look at her in person when everyone gets brought back here. That should make it easier to get a more solid diagnosis.

Boshi nods, and turns to Brutishace.

BOSHI: (...Call it a hunch, but I feel like there’s a bit more than spatial stuff getting in the way. That’s where you come in, Brut.)
BOSHI: (Adria’s smart. I doubt that she would stop at just spatial and temporal manipulation, if you get me.)
BOSHI: (You’ve got unconventional magic, from what I’ve seen of you so far.)
BOSHI: (That unconventional magic could be what we need to take Sophia back.)

IAWA: Hmm, what are you supposing? That we try using magic to try bringing Hat Kid back?
IAWA: Perhaps Adria is going to use some sort of spell to take her away for good?

BOSHI: (Wouldn’t put it past her to try something like that. We’re gonna try bringing her back to normal reality before that happens.)
BOSHI: (More than likely, though, we’ll need to counteract her effects with some of our own.)

ECHOSS: Agreed, better to nip the problem in the bud.
IAWA: Hmm, good idea.
IAWA: Odaru is likely more trained in this sort of spellcraft, but I’ll try my best to rescue Hat Kid.
IAWA: I think I have some of the tomes she used to learn these here.

BOSHI: (We may want to wait on Echoss’ diagnosis first, though. I… don’t really want to mess it up.)
IAWA: That’d be good. I’d hate to accidentally push her further into Adria’s grasp.
BOSHI: (Mm.)

BOSHI: (...One more thing; if you see two large space stations in the sky in the morning, just know that one of ‘em’s Adria’s and one of ‘em’s the Comet Observatory. They’re both hovering outside of the thymefield, in case you were wondering.)

ECHOSS: Hm, alright. Will your ship be safe while she's out there?
BOSHI: (...Oh, that thing? It’s completely vacant as of right now. It’s also in the thymefield, so it’s relatively safe from her.)
BOSHI: (Even if it weren’t safe, we’d hitch a ride with Rosa if it got destroyed, collectables be damned.)
BOSHI: (...I’m a bit worried about Rosa, though. It looked like the two were about to fight each other.)

Echoss frowns and nods.

ECHOSS: Well… Alright. If you need help, I think I could find a way to provide it. I should have a fair bit more influence outside the Thymefield's bounds should it come to it though I would rather avoid bringing more attention than necessary until the Sphere is dealt with.
BOSHI: (Yeah, that’s understandable. I greatly appreciate the offer, though.)

Boshi looks at Brutishace. Then at Echoss. It seems like he’s much more at ease now.

BOSHI: (...Y’know, I was honestly sorta hesitant to ask for help on the matter. Kinda surprised how easy it was.)
BOSHI: (Ah well.)
BOSHI: (Anyway, thanks for having my back, guys. I really appreciate it.)

IAWA: Ah, don’t worry.
IAWA: I know that one way or another, Hat Kid will be safe.

Boshi nods, and looks to the staircase. He stretches and yawns.

BOSHI: (...It’s great that we’re getting started on all this, but to be honest… it’s getting late. A few hours of sleep isn’t much, but it’ll help a lot in the morning.)
BOSHI: (See you in the morning.)

ECHOSS: I shall see you then.

Boshi nods, and heads towards the stairs, having more hope for Sophia than he previously had before.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

RP: House

"So, uh, Nia, we kinda need to, uh, uh, arrange accomodations for you to sleep." Venia says. "... I mean, you're already on the couch and all the rooms are already occupied... Uh, I'll just, I'll just sleep on the mat. I'd usually sleep in Mr. Krabs but he's still being bugfixed."

Venia will probably go along with whatever Nia's suggestion is, however lewd. Moments later, her eyes light up.

"Oh, oh right! Uh. I almost forgot, how silly of me, uh, gimmie a sec," Venia says, reaching into a shimmering distortion. She pulls out a familiar gray cap connected to a pad. "The reality-warping hair color changing machine, from before! The original exploded with your old body so I figured you'd want a spare, since you can actually, uh, use it now. Uh, for the record, I do think you look pretty just the way you are, but, like, if you want to change it, I'm down with that as well! I was thinking Id' be changing the way I'd look... A lot more drastically. Not like my current body is remotely natural, anyways..."

"Uh, in any case. You're in pretty good pajamas, you'd just need a blanket, so I'll just get your gear ready for you in the morning, OK?" Venia says, placing a copy of Nia's Sweater, a Throwlem Hand, and of course, Boxican, close to the foot of the Couch.

Venia rushes downstairs. Venia opts to just try yanking an unenchanted copy of Nia's previous hat/scarf combo from before out of her hammerspace, despite the odds of it being instantly Thymecursed...

...It actually works, wow. Venia boggles at it a bit before collecting up the scraps from Nia's old robot body, and shoving into that same distortion. A few seconds later, a small little button with Chibi Nia's smiling face pops out. Venia catches it and presses it against Nia's scarf, right on the snowflake pattern. The button liquefies and vanishes, and the snowflake glows.

"Nia! Got your hat 'n' scarf back!" Venia says. "I didn't manage to put in that affinity for Ice magic the old one had, but I think I had a better idea, given the emergency shell function from your backpack is gone because, well, your backpack is gone. Uh, just press on the snowflake."

If Nia performs this action, Nia undergoes a starting transformation and warps into a chifi-fied version of herself (as she is right now). Venia squees in delight. "Ta-daa! Uh, it turns you tiny and cute. Added that functionality by... Uh, scrapping your old body then infusing the remnants into your scarf. Yeah. Its actually practical for a variety of reasons, including squeezing into places you couldn't before... Also because your 'old body' is kind of still there. It's rather hard to put into simple terms, but if you take too much damage in combat, you'll automatically transform into your chibi form to minimize the amount of yourself that's hurt and take what's left into a usable form. It'll be hard to revive you if you go down in chibi form, and you'll be weaker in terms of combat parameters, but if you reach a reviver-type person in that state you can probably revert without penalty as the 'unused biomass' is still there and heal-able. Its... Actually kind of complicated, but basically just think of your regular form as being 'in-storage' and the chibi form as being a way to access it for healing purposes. Oh-and you can trigger it manually if you're not beaten to a pulp. Just press the snowflake and think of the intent to change-wait."

Venia taps the snowflake a bit with her finger. It flashes.

"OK, now tap the snowflake with intent if you want to change back."

After the demonstration, Venia sets the scarf with the rest of the gear for the morning, unless Nia wants to wear it to sleep or something.

Resources Expended: 1 Nia's Body.

Inventory Cannon

Meanwhile, Hat busies himself with the business of others, namely noticing Echoss's weapon is in need of replacement and for whatever reason he expects an 'Inventory Cannon' to magically replace his Sporulating Fan. Only explainable via Fourth Wall Breakage. Hat shrugs and gets to work.

Hat is no gunsmith, so he instead takes it upon himself to contact the archangels of gunsmithing for a request. As offering, he sacrifices 12 Durasteel, 12 Titanium, 6 Mortar Shells, 6 Searing Powder, and 3 Amphi Aura Extract in exchange for their services. The archangels flip out due to Hat presenting them an odd number of offerings in the Amphi Aura Extract and attempt to kill him with excessive firepower. Hat shrugs and eats them all in one bite. Jerks.

Having eaten the archangels of gunsmithing, Hat naturally gains the ability to use their powers, so Hat manipulates the gunsmithing magics he now has to modify his former offerings into a suitable cannon-like weapon, complete with a golden trim and a butterfly pattern on the barrel. That said, Echoss is no gunslinger, he's the 'Item Mage,' so it needs more than just to be a relatively decent gun.

Hat retrieves a Jotun Arm from the inventory and points the cannon at it. Rather than fire, however, Hat forces the gun to inexplicably generate a vaccuming force, and sucks the Jotun Arm into it-the fact the Jotun Arm is almost ten times the size of the cannon itself be darned, its sucked in. The whole thing shakes for but a moment. Hat testfires the gun, and naturally the Jotun Arm comes crashing out in the form of a fist, somehow even larger and longer than before, stretching out the average distance for a gun to fire and leaving a decent impact crater in the wall before returning to the confines of the barrel. (Hat instantly fixes it.)

The gun's magazine now being completely useless as it runs on muscle power, Hat tweaks it with his ever-powerful STARES to modify the magazine into accepting... Basically whatever's on-hand in the inventory. It'd be slow due to Balancing Trademark, but it'd be a great deal more powerful if it were fired from the cannon. Why? Because the Jotun Arm, obviously capable of holding things, is also obviously capable of propelling them forwards at vastly increased speed and force, which obviously means increased effectiveness regardless of item. Of course.

Hat presents Echoss the Inventory Cannon... by placing it on his head, wordlessly. He probably discovers it when it topples to the floor from the delicate imbalance caused by his next movement.

Resources Expended: 12 Titanium, 12 Durasteel, 6 Searing Powder, 6 Mortar Shells, 3 Amphi Aura Extract, 1 Jotun Arm

Shopping/Research

Hat, as he's already in the basement, decides to perform the vaunted act of SCIENCE! He researches the following:

-Crystal Energizer x2 (30+40)
-Blade Rush (50)
-Warp Ring (60)
-Zip (80)

This is a grand total cost of 260 Samples. Hat then swings by Chaos's stall and shills 450 Credits plus 16 Samples for an Aspect of Void and a duplicate Portable Tellyporta. The Aspect is awarded to Bass, while the Portable Tellyporta is set with Nia's gear.

"... You should probably ask Venia about the Golden Dream Ring. You know, for your missing memories." Hat says to Bass.

Gear/Stat Shuffle

Venia changes a lot of stuff.

-Venia trades the Blizzard Hairdye for the Oceanic Scarf. +1 STR, +1 AGI, +1 DEF and +1 SPC for -4 MMP and -2 RES overall. (or, well, maybe lower, as the Hairdye was due for a small nerf.)
-Venia switches the Ice resist on her Coat to a Water resist. She also mildly tweaks the "A Champion" passive; it now grants Intellect8, but only does so on the first summon spell per battle. The cap on summons remains.
-Venia exchanges the Maccao Tailspike for the Revolving Chamber. +1 SPC, -1 SKI and MHP. She sets the resistance to Water.
-Venia exchanges the Storm Bracer for the Radiant Glove. -1 INT and SPC but +2 CRT. Venia sets the resistance to Light and the weakness to Slashing.

Venia's final resistances are:
110% Water
50% Ice
40% Light
20% Fire
20% Glitch
-10% Slashing
-30% Air
-30% Poison

Venia then trades out a point from STR, AGI and SPC each to add one into INT and 2 into SKI. Her newest skillpoint goes into DEF to bring her to 2 total, for a brand-spanking new 1 AC. Oh, how have I missed having AC.

Final stats Changes:
+2 DEF
+1 SKI
+2 CRT
-1 MHP
-4 MMP
-2 RES

To cap things off, she replaces Super Soak for Nanostorm. "Healing magiteck nanites? Don't mind if I do."

Other
-Hex qualified for the 6 MOV achievement and we should have received the usual reward of 200 Credits accordingly.

After the idea has been brought up for there to be other types of chibis, Calibri cracks a faint grin from his seat beside the couch. He, in turn, hops up but doesn't get on the couch, instead just standing beside it.

"Chibis. Is that what we're doing now instead of plushies? Heh... Actually, that's a pretty okay idea."

He then leans over and whispers something to Verdana. It's not quite possible to catch what was whispered, but once he's stopped making indistinct noises, the albino stares slightly upwards with a thoughtful expression on his face... then, Verdana snaps his fingers, having gotten an idea.

"Inspiration gotten! I'll be right back, just have to put some things together... I'm sure you'll like it, miss Nia! And maybe you too depending on opinions, miss Venia, hehe."

Verdana absconds, by which I mean he sort of flops over the back of Couchtron, then walks out the front door of the house in a calm and orderly manner. He wants to spend his time privately, so that it isn't entirely clear what he's up to... He quickly slips into the dueling hut and initiates a craftpost, tucked safely behind a spoiler.

Spoiler Alert
Inside the hut, Verdana sets out some crafting tools. He then pulls out a copy of Nia's hoodie, peering carefully at it and wondering just what exactly it is that causes the hoodie to project smaller chibi Nias. He decides to tinker around with the object in question for a while, eventually discovering the holographic projector. He seems quite intrigued by the discovery, giving it a bit of gentle tapping...

"So this small devicey thingy is the thing that allows them to manifest? How funny. I wonder if I can retool that, somehow..."

He cracks his knuckles, then concentrates carefully. Verdana wants to visualize every detail of his intended craft product, and what might be useful for the purposes of getting that put together... Memories give him a few potential ideas, but he'll need to figure out which ones are the best ones to use. He then snaps his fingers, having some ideas in mind.

"Of course. Her old gear."

He proceeds to pull out a few different things. Namely, the... Savior's Roboglass Ballgown which he stares at in confusion, then the Unborrng Splintercast. Those two make some nice candidates to kick things off with. He then takes another look at the Nia's Sweater copy.

"...Okay, how do I do this..."

After some time spent considering what to do, Verdana decides to experiment in order to get results. Naturally, this involves walking out of the dueling hut and flying off into space, then turning into a giant satellite with an undermounted orbital laser. In the skies above Sussui, a faint light winks in the stars, then a beam of light blasts down from the orbital laser cannon and into the dueling hut, filling the room with light for the few seconds that it can be seen. Once the laser has concluded, Verdana falls back to the planet and lands quite softly, then re-enters the hut.

"Perfect!"

Somehow, by blasting the hell out of the items involved in the craft, he's managed to extract some kind of essence from them - specifically from the Unborrng Splintercast and robowhatever. A pale green light, which he takes hold of and stares at with some interest... He then takes the holographic emitter from the Nia's Sweater copy, forcefully shoving the green light into the emitter. The emitter glows bright, then fades back to a relatively normal state, albeit it seems to have been changed in some fundamental way... And yet, despite the advanced modification, it still needs something more.

"...Hmm..."

Verdana pulls out a Venia Plushie and sets it down on the ground, then takes a look between the emitter and the plushie. He then nods in satisfaction, picking the plushie back up and giving it a reassuring pat on the head.

"Hi, smaller and slightly cuter version of miss Venia. I'm just going to link you up with this device, alright? Promise it won't hurt."

There may, or may not, be a response from the plushie. Either way, Verdana soon just sort of puts the emitter and plushie together, a few seconds passing before the plushie glows green and seems to vanish entirely. Of course, an emitter on its own is not particularly cool or exciting, so he'll need to do something about that...

"Right, what do we have in terms of other things... Iron, no... Platinum, not enough of it... Megabark, definitely not the right kind of material... Gold, or silver. Hmm. Both. I'll use both."

He proceeds to take out a bunch of both Gold and Silver ingots, setting the emitter down a little distance away, then straight-up goes full Cyclops and blasts the different types of metal with powerful eye beams. Somehow, that works perfectly like a welder, fusing the metals together and arranging them into a nice little bracelet. It sorts looks like a gold-and-silver interlocking chainmail mesh, one that has a fair bit of stretch room and is able to either hug tightly in a secure grip, or hang loose for comfort. It also has a slightly bulky box in it, one large enough to fit something specific inside...

"...Ah, that looks good. Now, a quick test run, and it should be perfect..."

Verdana grabs the emitter, then slots it into the box shape in the bracelet, the box receiving it perfectly and closing up before shrinking down in size a bit. It now perfectly fits in with the rest of the bracelet, making the whole thing resemble a watch slightly. He then puts it on his wrist, concentrating for a moment...

A small copy of Venia appears a few feet away from him. This one seems to be dressed in an admittedly quite stereotypical fancy Duchess outfit. Another bit of concentration, and that one disappears, then reappears with a Huntress outfit on - I'll leave that one to the imagination. Another switch out, and this one has an outfit that kinda resembles those robes Venia used to wear, you know the ones, they had this fancy description that was really long and it was something about a spider eating a butterfly? Imagine those ones. One last swap-out, and the chibi Venia generated this time around has an outfit on that makes her look a bit like some kind of Inventor.

"...Perfect!"

Ingredients used: Nia's Sweater (x1), Unborrng Splintercast (x1), Savior's Roboglass Ballgown (x1), Venia Plushie (x1), Gold ingots (whatever), Silver ingots (whatever)

TOTAL CRAFT: (Trinket) (T4/5 depending on what fits) [b]Silver-Gold Chainbracelet

Chibis are the new Plushies.
(+1 SPC), (Chibi Praefortis)
Psychic (30%), Water (30%), Slashing (-20%)

Chibi Praefortis: A Chibi Venia will follow you around when you enter battle! She has 26 MHP, 5 DGE, and 4 MOV. Lasts until killed in a sad and tragic fashion.
The Chibi Venia will be one of four random types.
-Duchess Venia, who can use one item for free each round, up to a cap of T2. This takes an item action.
-Hunter Venia, who can apply Ensnared5 until the end of the round on a target in range 4-5.
-Roseslayer Venia, who can apply Ordo for one round to an ally in range 1-3.
-Inventor Venia, who can cast Terraform on one tile once per round in range 2-3.
You may also perform your Item action from the position of the Chibi Venia.

Now that he's put that together, Verdana proceeds to take the bracelet off, walking back out of the dueling hut and back into the house, possibly being trailed by a Chibi Venia in an Inventor outfit. He then returns to the place he was sitting at on the couch, handing the newly-crafted bracelet over to Nia.

"Here you go!"

Meanwhile, EN gets a call. She blinks, then pulls out a silver phone and answers it.

"Yo."

There's a pause. She puts the phone away, turning to the rest of the people in Acacia's house.

"We can go home now, y'all."

She moves around to repeat the message to everyone so that everyone is properly informed, then just straight-up picks up anyone who hasn't woken up so she can just carry them all home. Once back at the proper home, she dumps the carried people into nice places for them to be, takes a look around, notices things are alright, and heads off into the forest for a while. The sound of trees being utterly ruined can be heard from the forest... EN soon returns, carrying a large pile of splinters.

"Now fer bags..."

She goes and investigates splinterbags, refilling the bags which are intact but part-depleted, and using a bit of random fabrics from the inventory to stitch up whichever bags have been damaged. Nice simple repair job. And if there's leftover materials and splinters, she also goes and lays down a few more splinterbags with the spare stuff, since she might as well do so.

Meanwhile, outside Marron's bedroom, footsteps can be heard. The weird thing is that they're coming from outside the damaged wall, where there isn't actually somewhere to stand. A big metal guy proceeds to push the curtain back, peering through the hole in the wall.

"Looks like someone left a hole here... Not to worry, I have a solution. I'll paint over the hole with wood."

He proceeds to pull out what looks like a large paint roller, slaps some bits of Megabark onto the roller, then hums while casually rolling the paint roller across the giant hole in the wall. Despite the very obvious problems with how this should work, it somehow seems to be fixing the wall as Megabark is pushed into place. It might be best not to question how he can do this with a paint roller... Soon enough, the wall is nice and properly repaired, if a little rough due to the blatant violation of pretty much everything. All it needs is a bit of sanding down so it isn't blatantly at odds with the rest of the wall, maybe a bit of a patch-up with actual paint instead of Megabark stuck onto a paint roller, and it'll be nice and dandy.

Needless to say, that entire procedure was probably a little weird to watch.

It also looks like he dropped the paint roller after he left, and the roller somehow defied gravity to slap more Megabark onto the one corner of the house down below that got broken in the battle. You know the one. U41.

And now we cut to Calibri, who has gone down into the basement and tucked himself away in one corner to be alone for a while. He has something to do. Someone to talk to. Some matters of interest to cover. He pulls the Mindscape Radio out from the inventory, staring at it for a few seconds as he debates internally whether he should go for it or not, then sighs.

"Hopefully..."

He then flicks the device on. There's a pause as he considers what to say...

"...So, uh... Hi. Name's Calibri. Sometimes known as Cal for short. I got curious about this thing, heard it links up to some place I'm kinda interested in. So, heh... um. Right, who to talk to, if there's options..."

Another pause.

"Just checking, is... Memory Chloe there? I... feel like it would be nice to have a chat, you know. If that's possible. I'm curious."

...Skillpoint stuff: +1 HP to both characters. No gear changes just yet.

Brilliant. The battle has completed. Brutishace sinks his one skillpoint into HP.

He's hanging around in the cellar, leaning on the wall nearby the staircase if anyone wants to talk to him.

Once his conversation with Echoss has ended and the portal’s events have played out, Ansem quickly pieces together what the portal was opened for, and terms used to describe the destination. He is now curious as to who this newly delivered ‘Nia’ is and what importance they hold to stage this operation, but that is of little concern to him at the moment.

How curious. A temporary fusion? Rare where I’m from. Unless I’m mistaken, it’s also with a Heartless and a Nobody, which… I shall like to speak with them soon. VERY soon.” he murmurs to himself when he sees Verdana and Cal unfuse.

However, he knew better than to interrogate someone with the Darkness of Sorrow around their Heart. At least with it that fresh. He turned his senses outwards, trying to find something that was still alive, yet aligned with Darkness. Those types, at least, weren’t likely to destroy him on sight, from past experience.

That’s when he noticed something odd. A completely empty spot in his ability to sense Darkness. And considering Darkness was half of EVERYTHING...

Ansem decided instead to travel straight there, using a Corridor of Darkness. When he arrived in front of his target, he did so wreathed in shadow. His Guardian had already been dismissed, but despite the goofy getup, Ansem’s piercing yellow eyes and casual floating from sheer power made up the difference when it came to intimidation.

The target being a tall, lean man, pale as driven snow, wrapped in a black coat. He’s currently tending to the injuries of anyone nearby, carefully applying what appears to be ink over the affected areas. The man doesn’t seem to notice Ansem, focusing on the wounded he’s healing.

AUTH: Alright, give it a few seconds, you’ll be alright…

Light seems to be repelled from the ink, and after Auth cautiously removes it, the injury is as though it was never there.

Ansem raised an eyebrow at the technique, uncaring of the injured. When the injured left in a panicked hurry, leaving the two of them alone, he finally spoke up.

Considering Light’s predilections towards healing and togetherness, I would never have expected this to be a possible result of removing it.” Ansem muses loudly enough for Auth to hear. “Then again…. Darkness is good at forcing the issue at hand. Quite intriguing.

AUTH: Well… if Darkness is the absence of light, then couldn’t you argue that light is the absence of darkness? I’ve found that inducing that state can cure light wounds easily.

Well said. You definitely are someone who finds themselves comfortable with Darkness.” He steps around to see the man’s face more clearly, reaching out his hand. “My name is Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. Who might you be?

Auth’s gaze follows up to Ansem’s. His pale blue eyes appear to be analyzing the Seeker of Darkness intently, but once he decides that there’s no threat he relaxes.
AUTH: My name is Auth. We appreciate all the help we can get here.

Ansem’s smile is wry and full of mischief. “Given my state of being and the state of your intruders, that is plainly seen. If you don’t mind me asking, I seemed to have arrived in the thick of things with no real understanding of why. Could you help me with these questions, Auth?

AUTH: Of course. It wouldn’t do us any good to have an ally with no understanding of our purpose here. Ask away.

Thank you.” He floats down to the floor, letting his feet rest comfortably against the ground. “First of all… Where are we right now?I believe I heard someone mentioned something about it being called Sussui? Does that refer to the nation or the World?

AUTH: Ah, right. The planet is referred to as Sussui, yes. Um, we’re in the land of the Chairian people… you may have seen people made of wood running around the place? Taller than the average person? They’re the natives.

I see. Now, I believe the things we just fought were called the Iti? Somehow they’re made of mixing magical essence with spices, so I’m told. Do you understand how that works?

AUTH: We just fought off a horde of Iti, yes. Um.. I’m not precisely sure how they work myself, but I know that they’re created by an entity called WARE.

Ansem raised an eyebrow. “Would it be safe to assume that this WARE is a powerful being of Darkness? Or perhaps of Light? There have been no Heartless on this world as far as I can sense, and those would be the only two explanations I could think of for the lack.

AUTH: I’m not sure what it would be aligned to. WARE is… interesting. Do you see that big sphere off in the distance?

Ansem, for the first time, looks outside of the house he’s in to see the surroundings. Of course he sees the Sphere in question, but he also sees the ruins of a small town nearby, and a large forest surrounding the house and town from there. Ansem’s smile uncharacteristically softens at the sight, murmuring to himself about how the sight of a new world never gets old, even when it’s not drowned in Darkness. Then, remembering himself, he turns back to Auth and says aloud that he does see it.

AUTH: That’s where we’re heading. In a few days. We’re currently collecting some items that will give us access to it, and then we need to storm the Citadel, where the Sphere is floating over. WARE lives there, and it’s going to destroy the universe in… three days from now, I think?

Ansem’s eyes widen, as he stretches out his senses towards the Sphere. Sure enough, with a bit of focus, the immense, Worlds engulfing “Darkness” could be felt down into Ansem’s bones. Well, whatever passed for bones, anyway. Another question to be answered later.

I see. While I prefer Darkness myself, that might be a touch too potent, leaving a Darkness too pristine for my tastes.

AUTH: Yeah… that’s going to spawn a different entity named the “Chaos Butterfly”. That’s what we want to avoid because the universe being intact is a nice thing.

Ansem shrugged, deciding not to comment on his own opinions on the matter. Less inclined to mention his own attempts at returning everything to Darkness. Instead, he decided to say what Auth wanted to hear: his decision on being a part of the group.

Then I am decided. While I’m not usually an opponent of Darkness, I have been on the opposite side of it before. It seems this shall be the same, but with more...” He searches for the word a moment. “Palatable measures. I shall look forward to assisting you, if you’ll assist me in turn.

AUTH: Assisting people is my job here, I can do that. I take the role of a healer, as you’ve seen.

Auth closes his eyes slightly and stretches.

AUTH: I understand that normally you’d prefer to engulf worlds in darkness for… a purpose I don’t quite remember. But this is different, likely more damaging than you’d expect it to be. We appreciate the help.

Auth gives a knowing smile, revealing he knows a little more than he lets on.

Ansem’s eyes widen slightly, but then gives a respectful nod. “Well, it seems that my reputation precedes me somehow. But given how busy everything is… I suppose we’d best be getting to our preparations, rather than exchanging words.

AUTH: Right now? It’s about two in the morning. Most of us will be going to sleep now, we have preparation time in the morning before we head out.

I will step lightly then. Goodnight.

AUTH: Indeed. I’ve got some other things to tend to for now. Good night.

Ansem Floated away, mentally processing all of the information he had learned. It seemed that there was so much more to learn, so much more to see. He smiled genuinely.

It seems he hadn’t led the Boy astray after all. And Ansem himself had somehow been blessed with a second chance to learn and grow too.

Eventually, after a bit of wandering, he made it into the basement. There was plenty of room, but one thing immediately caught his eyes. An old research lab. He floated in, noting the computer, the coffee machine, and the… yes, there was something in here that defied scientific understanding as he knew it.

A broad, powerful smile grew. Yes. YES.

It was as if he had found the only home away from the Realm of Darkness that ever mattered. Or even Scala ad Caulum.

He brewed himself a pot of the Darkest Coffee imaginable, pulled off the Voidic Catalyst, and got to work.

Spoiler Alert

First things first, best not to put people’s research to waste. He went into the computer’s database and looked up what the inventory was like. He frowned at the sparse descriptions and notes, but he figured quickly that the notes must be categorized somewhere else.

What was most frustrating and took most of the time on the computer was trying to figure out WHERE the inventory was stored. It took finding a half-made text document labeled ‘Player’s Guide’ in a folder labeled ‘private time’ under the section of the computer devoted to external connections, which happened to be nonfunctional!

Still, he knew how to navigate the computer a lot better now, so hopefully future research projects would go a lot smoother. Or, judging by his experience, future attempts at reorganizing.

Still, the strange phenomenon of reaching into a shared pocket dimension and pulling out objects was fascinating in its own right. Even with the advancements made with Ansem the Wise nothing even came close to this! Granted, maybe something could have been replicated had he not been focused on rediscovering the passions and information on Darkness, but unless he wanted to cause spacetime to rupture, what was done was done.

Now that he knew how, he grabbed the materials that caught his interest. Considering the Thymefield’s effect, he figured that it was best to work small when analyzing and retooling his current equipment. Hence why he took the Void Catalyst off and placed it in the middle of where his ritual circle would be. Next, he grabbed something called a Scroll of Focus. Some might call the thing counter-intuitive, considering it boosted intellectual processing but at the cost of retention, but its effects could be applied to non-sapient objects, just like he was hoping for. Additionally, he would be channeling it himself, but for such a brief period of time that he would suffer no ill side effects.

Next, he grabbed 13 Shadow Crystals. He mused at how similar they were in structure to the fully emerged form of the Shadow. Yes, these would work masterfully. He naturally placed them around the Void Catalyst, and began with a minor, ritualistic test. Filtering his own malicious power through the crystals, he was able to connect safely to the Voidic Catalyst and draw a bit of the Darkness from within, floating it above the object in question.

Fascinating… the Darkness is so deep, that one would initially mistaken it for being untyped, or even of a Nothing Element instead, as rare as that anomaly is. ” He murmured to himself, recording his findings. By this point he as so engrossed in his research that if anyone else was there, he’d have not noticed them.

...frankly, he might have been in that state the moment he began looking through the research materials on the computer.

At any rate, it would take more than the Scroll and the 13 Crystals to reshape it into something more connected to the Heart. At least… 7 sources of Light. With the Light to Darkness conversion, it should provide enough of a conduit that when I introduce the scroll’s dillutive, yet focused effects...

He dug through the inventory. He swore he saw it… Aha!

The ‘Temple Bricks’. Faith was a potent source of light, and the magical conclusiveness of the Brick due to the nature of this ‘glyph temple’ simply made it even more appropriate. He arranged them on the outside of the crystals, making sure they were paired one brick to two crystals, save for the primary conduit, which would be one of each.

With that, he held the Scroll of Focus in front of him and began.

As he began intoning the chant, swirls of darkness flowed from his hands. The surrounded this scroll, peeling the words from it and into the Bricks The bricks began to blacken with the ink of the words, only to suddenly have said ink glow.

With the ink primed, it began to flow in a circle around the bricks, creating the first of the three circles. Upon a complete connection, it pulsed, signifying the beginning of the second step. From here, the Light expanded until it came into contact with the Darkness of the Shadow Crystals.

From here came one of the two hard parts. Dipping into his own pools of Magical power, Ansem began to wrestle the Light and Darkness into submission. What he needed was not a complete conquering of the Light, and he couldn’t afford to have the Light banish the Darkness. He needed a clean, precise flow of Light to Dark.

It took the better part of an hour, but eventually he managed to wrestle the ritual under control. It would require a hefty amount of power from here, but he was not lacking in that department. A ring of Twilight was in between the Bricks and Shadow Crystals.

Now, for the other hardest part. As the third Ring, the Ring of Darkness, extended to and connected to the Void Catalyst, it became less about incompatible energies, but getting them to shape in such a way that it altered the Catalyst. If anything the same types made it much harder on a technical level, but the overall energy expenditures and experience with it made it much more worth it.

What happened next was an intricate dance of calculations, equations, and emotional resonance. However, this too was planned, even when things took unexpected turns. For the ritual finished just in time.

During the moment that was darkest- Just before Dawn.

With the ritual finished, Ansem collapsed the ritual into the newly created Heartless Catalyst and took a moment to lean against the research table. He had a wild, proud smile.

Looks like I still have it..

Intended effect:
(T4) Heartless Catalyst
Darkness sprouts from the Heart. It grows and consumes it...
(+1 INT) (+2 MP Regen) (Heart's True Nature) (-3 MHP)
Dark (40%), Light (-20%)

Heart's True Nature: As a bonus action once per battle, you may inflict yourself with Aching3 for 3 rounds and gain Energized6 for 3 rounds.

Once Ansem had completed his work, he let the Catalyst set for a while in order to make sure the ritual properly acclimated to the natural magics. While it was a rousing success, it'd still require a bit of sacrifice to trigger it. Perhaps he could iterate on it further if the ritual didn't take up too much of the magical potential.

At any rate, there was one more thing he wanted to do before the group would continue on their journey to stop ultimate destruction, and that was work on this... homely little base of operations. He had a hunch, judging from where he came in, that the roof would need repairs. While he saw signs of repairwork already, he still decided to give it a combover.

Ah. Just as he suspected. The roof was not finished in its repairs. Well, his experience helping out after disasterous lab accidents would come in handy here. What would come even more in handy...

"Guardian! Come. We have work to do."

As they retrieved some of the Refined Wood that the computer said they had stocked, Ansem watched Guardian carefully. The bond between them was far different. It pretended to act the same - a slave to his mastery over Darkness and a malleable pawn, but he knew better. If it was truly the Guardian he knew, the immense pride would cause it to immediately thrash against Ansem's control. It was also very active and powerful, making sure to get the job done fast and hard, even if it took some 'convincing' to do so.

This thing was calm. It was patient, and lacking in overt strength. It worked passively, more concerned about thoroughness than completion despite it drawing from his skill to the point that such a thing should be trivial. And its Darkness... The type was evasive, but it most certainly wasn't the Darkness of Pride.

In any event, in silence, the two worked until the others were ready. Then, as if they hadn't been working all night, they came to them witht heir work completed. And augmented by an extra boost of Dark Magic, of course.

Stat Change: +1 Point to SPC.

Summa walks around the house, with a smirk on her face having helped Marron. She felt pretty good about it, and is in quite the talking mood.

Spoiler Alert

Crya decides to wander around the damaged house after it had been sieged, noticing a few new allies. In particular, she notices Summa, who Crya is instantly intrigued by.
CRYA: Um, hello! Who may you be?

Summa seems to be minding her own business when Crya walks up to her. After having had her fun she decided to clean and polish the Silver Maria, that scarily huge sword she lugged around. The flowers in her hair glimmered a glowing silver as she used her magic to wipe off the purple dust off her sword. The slime woman looked up at Crya and stood up, using her sword to get up. She looked over at Crya.

”I am Summa Tsar’ina. And you are..?”

Crya smirks, but then calms down, as if not to get megalomaniacal.
CRYA: I am Crya, the Goddess of the Ice and Oceans. I’ve come here to protect my domain from the multiversal threat of the Chaos Butterfly.
CRYA: Summa Tsar’ina… an interesting name…

The Summa takes a good look at Crya, her mumblings setting off a few alarms in her head. Tsar’ina noticed Crya’s bright cerulean eyes, and her whitish blonde hair extending down to her hips. Crya can notice that by Summa’s face that she isn’t buying it. Was this really a goddess in this realm?

”’The Goddess of the Ice and Oceans’. Hm… You seem to rather normal for a goddess; I don’t think I can believe you there.”

CRYA: Ah, well… I would do something to prove such ability but unfortunately for me my powers seem to be severely neutered on this planet. Normally, I could raise glaciers with only a thought, but that isn’t the case.
CRYA: Even without complete control over my role, I am still a master of Ice and Water, though Ice tends to be my forte. Let me put on a demonstration for you.

Crya suddenly launches herself from the air, using a pillar of ice to burst her into the air, before landing upside-down on some spontaneously formed ice and skating her way down. Ice continually forms in front of her as she descends and moves along, with the ice behind her sublimating. Finally, on the last stretch she decides to pull a trick, creating a snowman using magic before promptly impaling it with an icicle formed from her hands. She finally lands on the ground.
CRYA: Well, even if I can’t do everything I normally can, I can still use my powers in some form.

Impressed with the display of ice magic, and amused at the impaling of the snowman, Summa gave a chuckle and clapped her hands for small bit before stopping, putting her hands back on her resting sword.

”Ah, I guess that explains it. I’ve been feeling… A little less powerful than usual. It feels like I’m being held down by something on this planet. I’ve been wondering, do you know what has been causing this?”

CRYA: Hmm, well I remember my friend Steyia talking about something called a “Thymefield” and how it severely hampers anyone exceeding normal levels of power. She talked about how she wasn’t as fast as she is back home.

”Thymefield? As in, the spice thyme? You best not be telling me that a gorillaing plant is restricting both my strength and my magic.”

CRYA: It’s no simple spice. My friend has noticed some strange purple… mass in certain areas, and it’s quite deadly. The locals apparently call it Thyme Matter because of…
CRYA: Well I’m not sure, really. Thyme might be poisonous to the tree people here?

”Is it the Thyme that were creating these monsters we were fighting earlier?”

CRYA: Those creatures, called Iti, are made of Thyme, so yes, the Thyme is related to the creatures.

Summa wondered for a moment, thinking back to the way she was sent here. Perhaps she was brought here for a reason? No idea why they would send her of all Moly to help fight off the Iti and the Thymefield, but Summa felt a weird sort of pride in herself.

”Well, then I guess we don’t have much of a choice to take out this ‘Thyme’.”

CRYA: Well that is the intended plan. A being named WARE has brought this blight upon this land, and we are here to defeat him.
CRYA: Well not just to fight back the Thyme, either. WARE brings upon all of us the threat of multiversal annihilation, and so many people are here to protect their homes.

Summa’s eyes widened at the mention of “multiversal annihilation”, and her face became a shade paler, though she still kept a poker face. ”This suddenly became a lot more serious… Anyways, I think I’ve asked enough questions. Thank you for the information, er, Cryo, was it?”

CRYA: It’s Crya, and you’re welcome. I hope we can all get through this unscathed.
CRYA: See you out there.

Daskter simply walks around the house then goes to the SB1 Armadillo.

Downloading the recording on the tank, Daskter collects battle data.

He will examine the recording later, for now he simply sits on the hi-tech couch.

Hex, having rested a bit after the battle, gazes around the House. Geez, those guys did a number on this place. I mean, look at this! Holes in the walls, plumbing destroyed, guts everywhere..
Actually, that last one was probably the defender's fault.
Hex sighs and gets to helping the clean up efforts. He pulls out 3 Skyroot Logs and a knife, and moves at superspeed, whittling the wood into a broom in a matter of seconds. He then superspeeds around the house, sweeping up Iti guts and rubble into a giant pile in the front of the house. He proceeds to.. shove the pile into the inventory. Well then. Whether this grants one item or many is yet to be seen.
Then, he walks over to the Laser Minigun, which has taken quite a beating during the fight, and needs some repairs. Now, Hex isn't exactly the best at mechanical things. Magic, he's decent. But tech..
But since when did that stop anyone! :D.
Laser MG 2.0.

Materials Used:
- x5 Durasteel
- x1 Platinum Ingot
- x40 Circuit Boards
- x5 Cogs
- x4 Assorted Gun Parts
- x3 Crystal Pens
- x2 Amphi Aura Extract
- x4 Raindrop Crystals
- x3 Silver Bars
+ A bunch of scrap metal gained from replaced Minigun parts
Hex picks up the Laser Minigun, and brings it down to the Workstation Prime. Then, he proceeds to don a surgeon's outfit, mask and all. He pulls out a array of tools and looks down upon the Minigun, as thunder inexplicably crashes in the background.
Hex pries open the plating of the Minigun, looking down at it. Large gashes cover the whole gun, some of them hitting the electronics inside. He frowns as he spots several components burnt to crisp or smoking, and turns the Minigun upside down, shaking it vigorously. Broken off bits, burnt electronics, and a very big mechanism of cogs and wires fall out. Hex jumps as the mechanism breaks in half as it hits the table.
HEX: Oops.. Was that important?
Hex takes a peek inside the Minigun, spotting the large empty spot where the mechanism was. He stares at it for a second.
HEX: Uh, I have no idea what any of this is.
He shrugs, and pulls out a Scanner, scanning the fallen mechanism. Info streams in.
..oh, it was important. It was, uh. The part that consumed the crystals. The part that fired the lasers. Y'know, the part that made the whole thing work.
....
....
...
The mechanism chooses this moment to spark, and suddenly explode, coating Hex in soot. Hex coughs, and turns back to the Laser Machine Gun, waving away smoke. He'll just have to replace that part then! There's no possible way this can go wrong.
Hex begins to cobble together something based on the blueprints the scanner has provided, when a idea strikes him! The minigun is pretty heavily damaged. So why not just gut out the whole thing and rebuild it even better. wait what hex no.
Hex thinks on this for a second, then pulls out his scapel and puts the surgeon's mask back on, cutting away the majority of the Minigun's systems, leaving the wires and such.
First, he pulls out a crapton of circuit boards. He then takes out some raindrop crystals. He carefully splits each of them into 4 raindrop pebbles, each with a small bit of mana at the center. Then, he places these where the batteries for the minigun used to be, and wires them to the circuit boards he places in there, repeating and amplifying the magic signal. Then, Hex takes out the Crystal Pens, Aura Extract, and Platinum. He melts down the Platinum with burst of superhot flame, and reshapes it into a orb, which he cuts the top off of. He then raises up the Crystal Pens, and uncorks the bottles holding the extract, letting the raw magical energy flow through him. He directs into the Pens, and they change, as the ink within them is supercharged with the Elemental Essence of Ink. Cracks form on the pens, and the new, Magic™, ink slowly begins seeping out, as the pen pumps out more and more ink. Hex scrambles backwards to avoid letting the ink touch him, and quickly reaches into the inventory, pulling out the tome for Guiding Hand. He casts it, and uses it to push the pens into the sphere, before mixing the pens up inside of the Platinum sphere, crushing them and filling the sphere. Hex sighs in relief, and walks over to the orb, expending the last of the extract to cast another spell, condensing the ink into a Elemental Node, radiating the element of Ink. He then welds the top of the sphere back on, and engraves some glyphs on the sphere. It glows as the glyphs make it more receptive to the node, and soon, it's glowing with raw Ink and magic. Hex smiles and fits it into the gun. He then uses a second bottle of Extract to cast some glyphs within the Laser Minigun to handle a lot of other systems because he can't be bothered to spend half a hour doing all that. Then, he finally works on the firing system. He takes apart the barrel of the gun, placing the parts gained from that into the inventory. Alright, he needs something to warp space.. Hex yoinks out 3 Silver bars and casts a quick ritual, warping the barrel of the gun to be much bigger on the inside, consuming the bars. Then, he sets up the Assorted Gun Parts and Cogs in a system, adding two new barrels to the weapon, for shells. Finally, he hooks up the remnants of the crystal laser system to the inkorb, which, combined with the mana circuits, is now a complete beacon of raw magic, powering the whole gun. He slaps some more cogs on, and bam! That's that replicated well enough. And with that, the rebuild is complete!

Laser Minigun Mk. II.
- Retains the crystal laser system, with a slight boost and the ability to expend Regalia for huge damage as well as Clusters and Crystals. Clusters now have a [ire decided]% chance to inflict a status effect when used.
- shellsssss. In addition to firing lasers, the minigun can now fire two shells immediately after firing a laser. Shells can be either Mortars, Firebombs, or custom shells. Custom shells use up three different materials from the Inventory per shell, and have a different effect based on what Materials are chosen. The effects will always be the same if you repeat that combination, so go out there and try to find powerful ones. Think of it like Em's umbrella, in a way. As in, weird and wacky effects.
- The Minigun can now be brought into battles other then the house. It can be deployed using a player's action.
- Players, when moving, can now choose to drag the Minigun with them if they start their turn within 1 turn of it. Dragging it gives you -1 MOV, but allows you to move it with you, moving through allies and such. If Dragging, you must end your turn in a spot where you can place the Minigun within 1 range of you.
((Hopefully this is balanced enough.))

Irongutta took a look around the house, assessing some of the damage. "Zog, the house really got fragged. I better get on patchin' those 'oles in the floor."

And so he did! Going to the basement, he used tools from the workbench to turn 6 Refined Wood into a good number of boards that could be used to repair the floors. For nails, he simply used an Iron Ingot.

With his materials ready, he went back upstairs hauling a stack of boards under one arm. Irongutta started by repairing the hole at the end of the kitchen hallway, boarding it over and ensuring it was nailed down properly. Standing up, he tenderly placed a foot on the boards and slowly shifted his weight to that leg. Nothing seemed to have broken loose even under his bulk, so Irongutta considered that a stress test passed.

This process was repeated for the hole in the living room, which was promptly boarded over as well. Since there was more traffic here, Irongutta did a more thorough stress test that involved him standing on the boards completely. Again, it seems that the boards did their job well.

Passing the door to the bathroom a second time, he noticed that some water began to pool just outside the door frame. Groaning in frustration he made a quick trip downstairs and grabbed an old greasy towel from his belongings. Returning to the offending door, he knelt down and stuffed the rag under the door. "There, that should be good enuff fer now."

With his rounds and contributions to the house repairs complete, he returned to the end of the couch opposite Nia and made himself comfortable for the time being.

Gear & Stats

Irongutta unequips the Prototype Eggfinder and equips the Momemtum Lock in its place.

To counteract the negative INT, Irongutta puts his shiny new skillpoint into INT.

Catherine receives a phone call from a phone she didn't have. She decides that it would be very smart to pick up Leaf, who is asleep at the table, and hoists her over her shoulder.

tC: Alright, everyone! We're heading back now! Dunno who's here or if you want me to bring you back, but I'm calling out to you to come along!

Catherine smirks and walks along to the House which is just a short teleport away. She drops Leaf off in the extra room in the basement, and then sneaks up to the top of the first floor. She sneaks over to whisper to EN, just about invisible.

tC: (Hey, hey, Darling~ Where's this Nana person?)

After a quick chat with EN, Catherine sneaks outside and drops into the bench next to her. Without warning. It's not that subtle, actually...

tC: Well, hello! Would you happen to be Nana Markhamia?

She smiles widely hoping to see some sort of reaction.

----

Auth immediately dashes over to where Taeda is.

uA: Hey, Teada. Do you mind if I help you with healing these two? I want to help, as thanks for helping us with protecting our base from the Iti.

Ideally, she'd say yes, and Auth helps heal Willow and Salix. Especially Willow, since she got beat up pretty badly. Auth living up to his role as a cleric, of course. If any of them want to talk, he'd be more than happy to chat too.

----

Auth walks over to Chaos, and brings a large pile of wood with him. The nice wood, too. A couple of Greatwood Logs and some Refined Wood.

uA: Hello, Chaos. Please permit me to help you reconstruct your stand. I brought some of the nice wood if you'd like to use that.

----
Later on, Auth decides to do some real crafting (which is important). But not before assigning his three skill points - Two into DEF and one into SPC.

Annihilator's Catalyst

(T5) Trinket Annihilator's Catalyst Draws from the power of your righteous fury.

Stats: (+3 MP Regen) (-1 HP Regen) (+1 INT) (-4 MHP) (Consumption)
Resists: Dark (40%), Ice (-20%), Light (-20%)

(Consumption II) - Whenever you are damaged by an element that you are resistant or weak to, gain stacks of Hanten equal to:

[(Pre-Resist/Weakness Damage * Decimal of Resist/Weakness%) / 2], rounding down

You may have a max of 8 Hanten. You may spend up to 3 Hanten to reduce the cost of a spell by 5%, per point of Hanten used.

Items Used: Blackhole Regalia, Destroyer's Catalyst, Platinum Ingot.

----

This should be a relatively simple process, Auth thinks, since it should be relatively similar to the last one he crafted. Just... more. Since the Blackhole Regalia is much more dangerous. Auth starts by building a frame to support the Regalia, melting down the Platinum Ingot and surrounding it in a mold. It's the same mold he used for the Destroyer's Catalyst. After, Auth pours in the hot liquid metal from a melted Platinum Ingot, surrounding the Regalia in a platinum spiked armour. Admittedly, it is mostly for the looks.

The armour is important, but it doesn't need to look menacing. Now, there's just one other problem... how to get the Annihilator's Catalyst into it. It's going to be slightly difficult. Auth places it on the table, and places the Catalyst next to it for now. He stares, thinking...

Until the idea hits him! He can't pierce the crystalline matrix, since that would be stupidly dangerous, but... it might be possible, if he's quick...

Auth carefully places the catalyst over the crystal, and makes a small gap right underneath. The house itself shakes around him, and the Annihilator's Catalyst is absorbed. Like a Hungry Aura Node in a Tainted Biome, though, the shaking stops with no real damage done. The crystal is repaired, but it seems much darker. Not as in less bright, but the crystal appears much more malevolent. Sharper. Much more dangerous.

Which is, kind of, the intended outcome, isn't it? Danger for power.

Auth breathes out quietly, having completed one item.

uA: One down, one to go...

As someone wicked, fundamentally, I disagree. One may always repent. I may have done terrible things in the past. That's why I help this coward now.

<ROUND ONE-HUNDRED AND FIFTY-THREE>
We all know what time it is.

Stat & equipment crafting time! In addition, we'll likely be running a balance patch after these crafts apply, so this may take a considerable amount of time. especially since everyone wants to roleplay with me

HOLD ON TO YOUR STATS
Normal Distribution:
Crya: +1 MHP. simple
Adrian: +1 SPC. and
The Man: +1 AGI. clean
Calibri: +1 MHP. is
Daskter: +1 INT. the
Toast: +1 MHP. way
Chloe: +1 SKI. that
Marron: +1 AGI. you're
Ette: +1 MMP. making
Stella: +1 STR. me
Mari: +1 SKI. feel-

and we're out of really, really simple ones

Echoss: +1 MHP, +1 AGI, +1 INT, +1 MOV, -1 STR, -2 DEF, -2 RES, -3 SPC. Inventory Cannon equipped!
Letsid Leeh: +1 SPC. Ninja Hood -> Rubyweave Cloak, Nanomachine Aura -> Crimson Storm, Nothing -> Cache Finder. That's... a lot of DGE! As a general note, focusing everything into one stat tends to not be much fun for anyone involved, especially if I need to develop / deploy foes specifically to deal with you. You've been warned!
Boshi: +1 MMP, and a spell rotated!
Verdana: +1 MHP. While Nia doesn't actually have a hoodie, he still creates the Silver-Gold Chainbracelet with Nia's Sweater, the Unborrng Splintercast, the Savior's Roboglass Ballgown, a Venia Plushie, 3 Gold Ingots, and 3 Silver Ingots!
Ansem: +1 SPC. Heartless Catalyst created with... uh, a Void Catalyst, a Scroll of Focus, 13 Shadow Crystals, and 7 Temple Bricks! It's presumably equipped! I think it's a bit on the strong side, so I've increased the Aching from 3 to 4. Not too big a debuff, I'd think.
Irongutta: +1 INT. Prototype Eggfinder ditched for the Momentum Lock!
Author: +2 DEF, +1 SPC. Annihilator's Catalyst made with a Blackhole Regalia, a Destroyer's Catalyst, a Platinum Ingot, and an inexplicable 2 Darkmatter Clusters. It occurs to you that this item is getting really, really dangerous. Also, +1 cap to Hanten because stealth buff.

Reworks / Respecs:
Venia: Stats rotated! Equipment 60% shuffled! Equipment also directly modified! She also crafts the Jhint Capacitor with Nia's Body, and then crafts the Inventory Cannon with 6 Titanium, 6 Durasteel, 3 Searing Powder, 3 Mortar Shells, 2 Amphi Aura Extract, and a Jotun Arm!
Packo: +1 SPC. Trait changed... denied. Unfortunately, the power level is pretty weird: it's a bit slow, but generally easy to accomplish to get a consistent +30% Basic Attack DMG and +9 HP Regen. Then you can have allies target you fairly easy with Bonus Actions and the like, or just go and get that +40% bonus. It's also not really conducive to the sort of teamwork that takes place in Project Thymium, either. It also seems like the sort of thing to really easily forget on the GM side. For now, you will remain on Cowardice. Thanatophobia Field modified!
Nia: +3 DEF, +2 RES, +1 SPC, -1 MHP, -5 AGI. Your Own Sweater, a cloned Portable Tellyporta, the Jhint Capacitor, and a Throwlem Hand equipped!

NIA: Whoa! So many gifts!
NIA: I was only gone for like... a few hours. Does someone like me really deserve all of this?
NIA: Not that I'm complaining, though! Thank you, everyone!

In addition, Patch v1.3.1 has been released! This mostly features a change to the CRT system, and also the official notice of Co-GMing! Take a look on the Patch Notes tab!

Echoss does a fair deal of roleplay. Of note is that though he's already done a considerable amount in his post, there's a whole roleplay that I was told to post here!

Another Explanation
Marron finishes applying a sheet to the gigantic gaping hole in the wall. Omo tends to the room, sweeping away small chunks of debris from what was once the room of Abies, and ensuring that all the books and such in the room are in a good condition. Ette meanwhile, is busy doting on her sister, applying various medicines and spells to her wounds. Toast's main priority, however, is finding some new socks. While her cloak is marvelously explosion-resistant, the same can't be said for that which it doesn't cover. She makes a mental note to get some magical ones that won't burn up.

The two, of course, have been chatting. Plans for the future, what they’d do for breakfast, what happened during the battle… things like that. Marron seems to be a bit preoccupied with the sorceress’s health.

MARRON: Toaster, you holding up okay?
MARRON: I… kinda got beaten up during that battle… and it kinda looks like you took some hits, too.
MARRON: Want me to tend to you, or something?

TOAST: Oh, um, sure.
TOAST: Are you sure you aren't too busy with like…

She waves in the general direction of the lightly destroyed room.

TOAST: ...I should probably be helping fix, shouldn't I?
MARRON: Maybe.
OMORIKA: Ah, if I may…
OMORIKA: I’ve taken a look around, and it seems that many of our companions have been spending time repairing the house.
OMORIKA: In fact, I believe we’ll be fully repaired before daybreak.

MARRON: Really? Nice!
MARRON: That means that… well, maybe we can actually go and sleep, or something.
MARRON: Anyway… here. This might sting a little.

Marron takes a moment to tend to Toast’s wounds, giving her a few quick stitches. She casts a quick spell on the thread, causing it to glow gently and somewhat “fuse” into her body.

TOAST: ow ow ow
MARRON: Thanks to that spell, the threads will eventually just... sorta become skin.
MARRON: Otherwise, I’d… well, I’d look more patchwork than actual human.

TOAST: Well… you definitely look cuter without the stitches.
MARRON: A-Ah… u-um, thanks!
MARRON: S-So, do you wanna, m-maybe-

There is a light thud from outside the house and a quiet whoosh. Someone promptly lands on the edge of the hole in Marron's wall, and is then carried through the curtain by their momentum. Echoss accidentally pulls said curtain down from its holding onto himself in a ball of cloth and muffled not-quite-cursing.

MARRON: WHAT THE gorilla!? DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG-

Marron cuts herself off rather quickly, her eyes drifting to Toast’s. The sorceress gives a quizzical look back. The puppeteer takes a few deep breaths- a technique that her sister has been trying to get her to learn.

MARRON: …
MARRON: No, I-I shouldn’t be getting angry over small things like that.
MARRON: It’s… It’s fine. It was t-temporary, anyway...

Echoss struggles to pull himself out of the curtain.

ECHOSS: Apologies Miss Needleworker. I was coming up to see if I could take measurements for repairing the wall properly before you went to bed. I am not quite used to high velocity movement under the effects of the Thymefield yet it seems.
TOAST: Hang on, how did you get up here?
TOAST: Last I checked, people don't jump that high.

MARRON: And most people don’t slam themselves into the wall while flying.
ETTE: (I bet flying’s actually really hard...)
OMORIKA: Ah, sir Echoss.
OMORIKA: I assume you’re here for a reason? It’s been some time, hasn’t it?

Echoss notices Omorika and stands up quickly from the curtain, almost losing his balance but managing to maintain it.

ECHOSS: Ah, yes. Apologies, there's been a lot to do and I was also involved with discussion with some of the others and…
ECHOSS: I suppose that I should hang the curtain back up, but before I leave, Miss Omorika I do believe I promised you a certain explanation earlier?

He looks at the others in the room.

ECHOSS: I believe that the explanation in question is probably one deserved to the group as a whole, or at least available as such. Unless you three would rather I leave now, I shall just do it at once here.
OMORIKA: I believe that it would be valuable for the others if they chose to stay.
MARRON: Yeah, but… sleep.
ETTE: (I wanna hear what’s going on!)
ETTE: (Even if I don’t know what he’s talking about!)

TOAST: I mean, I gotta say I'm kinda curious now.
MARRON: Mmh, fine...

Marron hops onto the bed, taking a seat, as Toast sits cross-legged next to her. Ette meanwhile, makes herself comfy on the ground, sitting criss-cross. Omorika pulls up the chair that sits by the desk in the room.

ECHOSS: The two main questions I am going to answer right now are this: Why I disappeared for several hours and only reappeared during the recent battle, and what the… 'deal' is with my butterflies and such.
ECHOSS: To begin that answer… I suppose it would be quickest to say that I am not here 'in person' so to speak.

TOAST: Oh, the butterfly avatar things, right?
ECHOSS: In part. The body I'm using to interact with things as a person is also an avatar, however. Similar in some ways to how Nia maintained presence on Sussui even while her original body remained back on Earth.
OMORIKA: Fascinating.
OMORIKA: ...So, the butterflies are but a proxy, then?
OMORIKA: I am curious as to why you aren’t here yourself.

ECHOSS: That answer is twofold. On one hand, my avatar is being hit hard enough by the thymefield as is, and risking permanent death and quite a lot of additional dangers when I can provide no extra assistance through doing so would be foolhardy.
ECHOSS: On the other, I seem to be rather directly in the vein of what the thymefield is meant to keep out. It was very difficult just to be here even by proxy, I don't think I could do so in person properly until after the Sphere is destroyed.

MARRON: I guess it’s also nice to have the safety of being able to come back if you gorilla up…
MARRON: ...Not that it’d really change much, since I’m pretty damn sure I’ve seen a few of us die, and appear moments later like nothing happened.
MARRON: ...Cheater.

ECHOSS: You're mostly correct on that count actually Miss Needleworker, there seem to be a few of what some individuals refer to as 'save points' scattered about Sussui.
ECHOSS: My guess is that that's what the others have been using to tether their life force here, and also why some people have been prioritized in combat over others. Anyone incapable of interacting with those points is at far greater risk of staying dead than any who can, regardless if their access is conscious or unconscious.
ECHOSS: Mostly irrelevant to me as well, however. I can't access them through my avatars at the very least, so if someone were to somehow attack me through the mental connection I'd likely stay dead as well.

There's a brief silence, and Toast realises she hasn't said anything in a while.

TOAST: Oh, er... to re-ask one of the questions from the start, what caused you to be gone for so long?
ECHOSS: Ah, yes, that. The avatar I'm using specifically for this venture here has a direct connection to my mind. While I'm not here in person physically, I am mentally.
ECHOSS: When the rollback happened late yesterday, Sussui was rollbacked, but the place where my 'original body' is held wasn't. My time desynced from Sussui's, and the method I've been using to pierce a tiny 'hole' in the thymefield so to speak to maintain the mental link failed.
ECHOSS: With the connection severed, all of my butterflies as well as my main avatar didn't have enough guiding intelligence to function and reverted to the spell's built in "soft landing protocols" so that I could reclaim them upon re-entry.
ECHOSS: My butterflies were mostly intact, but my main avatar seems to have gone missing so I assume the backlash destroyed it.

OMORIKA: ...So how did you reconnect yourself?
OMORIKA: It seems you have knowledge on how to deal with the Thymefield, which may be valuable to us.

Echoss shakes his head.

ECHOSS: I connected myself back in by remapping the energy patterns of the thymefield enough to punch the hole again. Even with knowing what I needed to do it took nearly a week on my end and several hours on yours.
ECHOSS: Setting up enough of a hole to the outside to do what I'm doing now… Well, I only arrived as the Spherebreakers were entering the Gardens, and I began work on finding out how as soon as the Thymefield activated.
ECHOSS: I think any attempts on my end to properly disable the thymefield would take far longer than we actually have. At best I could open a homeward portal to evacuate those with our party to my home realm should we fail to stop the destruction and hope that that puts us out of range of the destruction.
ECHOSS: Barely an escape route, and most certainly not any kind of victory.

OMORIKA: ...You began as soon as the Thymefield activated?
OMORIKA: Does that mean you’ve been watching the planet?

Echoss freezes for a moment, and blinks. It's clear this wasn't something he intended to talk about here.

ECHOSS: Ah… Sort of. I think it is a bit late to have that discussion at present, and I that's something you would probably like greater details on.
ECHOSS: For now… Suffice it to say that I did have an eye on Sussui prior to the Thymefield's appearance. No presence, but...

MARRON: ...That’s still gorillaing shady.
ETTE: (...She’s right.)

Echoss sighs as the puppeteer beams angrily at him.

ECHOSS: I am aware how it sounds, and that is actually the reason I don't wish to discuss it tonight.
ECHOSS: I have been… performing rather subpar this evening for personal reasons and I don't trust myself to misspeak my own intentions until I've had a moment to try and rest again.
ECHOSS: Can you please at least for now trust the help I have attempted to give thus far? I know I have not been here long but I sincerely wish no one any harm.

The taste of eggnog still lingers on Marron’s lips. She sighs as well.

MARRON: ...I mean, you’ve been nice enough, so… sure, whatever.
MARRON: Still doesn’t mean that you’re not shady.

TOAST: It seems a bit weird… but I'm kinda willing to trust him.
OMORIKA: You have proven yourself worthy of trust, as well.
OMORIKA: You have been invaluable to our mission.

Echoss winces slightly at Marron's comment.

ECHOSS: I know. If any of you,
He looks at all of them, lingering a little longer on Omorika, but not by much.
ECHOSS: Wish to question me further in the morning, or at any time tomorrow really, you may do so.
ECHOSS: I do not intend to disappear again, so barring another catastrophe I will be easy to reach, whether here at the house in person, or further afield through my butterflies. Does that sound reasonable?

OMORIKA: I believe so, yes.
OMORIKA: I suppose I shall be seeing you some time later, then?

ECHOSS: Indeed. If any of you should need me for some reason before morning comes, I shall likely be out front.

Echoss turns around and picks the curtain up off the floor, righting the hooks on which it was hung and setting it back up to cover the hole in the wall again.

ECHOSS: Apologies again for the intrusion, I shall make sure someone comes up to repair the wall sooner rather than later so that you may get to your rest more quickly.
MARRON: H-How’d you put the curtain up so fast…?
MARRON: …
MARRON: Anyway, yeah. Sure. Thanks.

ETTE: (Bye bye!)
TOAST: Catcha.
OMORIKA: ...I’ll also take my leave at this point, then.
OMORIKA: Good night, you three.

Omo strides towards the door, opens it, and slips out of the room quietly. She’s presumably going off to ‘sleep’ or something. Echoss follows right behind her, though he seems to be less sleep inclined at the moment. Ette remains in the room, finding herself a comfy spot in the room, and flopping to the ground- apparently, being a gigantic plushie allows you to nicely sleep anywhere!

TOAST: ...Do you think Omo ever actually sleeps?
ETTE: (Probably not.)
MARRON: I mean, she has that spell, doesn’t she?
MARRON: Omo probably doesn’t even need to sleep.
MARRON: It sounds pretty handy, but… sleep’s nice.
MARRON: Speaking of sleep...

Since she’s already sitting on the bed, Marron tactical rolls into position on the bed, planting her head on a pillow. She lets out a heavy yawn.

MARRON: ...a long nap sounds exactly like what I need right now.

Toast swivels around, placing herself parallel to Marron on the bed. The puppeteer promptly leans her head on the sorceress’s shoulder, prompting a smile.

TOAST: Hey, make sure you wake me up in the morning...
TOAST: I wanna try and make breakfast with you~

MARRON: Mmh, alright…
MARRON: It’ll be… fun…
MARRON: Good night, Toaster...

TOAST: ...Good night, Marron.

With one final yawn, Marron cuddles up with Toast, and is soon fast asleep, snoring ever so gently. Smiling warmly, her companion soon follows, falling into a sea of pleasant dreams.

Anyway, with that out of the way, Echoss tends to SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE. If we count the roleplay up above, this may be among one of the longest posts in Thymium history. First, Echoss chats with Salix and Willow, accepting the gift basket. 3 Charian Pastries, 4 Manabloom Tea, and 3 Chairian Brews obtained! He also thanks Salix for helping deal with the Iti.

SALIX: You're quite welcome.
SALIX: You all did help save Willow, so it's the very least we can do.

WILLOW: Yeah! I'd probably be dead if you guys didn't show up!

He allows them to stay for the night, gifting them a Rebellion Banner for use as bedding.

WILLOW: Gonna be real- it'll feel really weird to spend the night under one of these...
WILLOW: ...buuuuut, it's oddly comf. Not sure why'd they make a banner out of this.

They seem quite happy with the accommodations. He then also goes to chat with Bass, asking about the last Chosen.

BASS: Oh, the last guy?
BASS: He's down there.
BASS: Don't worry- he's not alive.

BASS: so uh
BASS: anyway i'm doing okay
BASS: wasn't really hurt much back there
BASS: thanks for asking though

Bass then rather suddenly makes a clone of Echoss, who helps Bass with shoveling dirt into the hole. Efficiency! Anyway, Echoss then moves onto his considerably large resource actions portion. He sends a wave of butterflies to go and expends 2- no, let's make that 20 Cobblestone on repairing all of the windows in a fairly mundane fashion. He then spends nothing 1 Mantle Cluster to re-energize some of the damaged trees, making them fairly less dead. He also tosses 3 Manabloom Seeds into the plant pot outside of the house.

He also opts to craft the Furniture Flinger with the Minifridge Mortar, 6 Temple Bricks, 8 Durasteel Ingots, 6 Titanium Ingots, 6 Megabark, and 4 Throwlem Crystals. Anyway, that was a long post. Maybe make that stat block for the Furniture Flinger if you feel like it, but it's not really needed.

Packo vents to Ette for a moment. Ette tries her best to comfort Packo, but her worry only grows as he goes on about how he killed his best friend.

ETTE: (H-Huh? Y-You killed y-your...?)
ETTE: (I-I... don't know w-what to say...)
ETTE: (I mean, y-you didn't really seem to realize it, y-you said...)
ETTE: (So... m-maybe s-something else is going on? Y-You can't j-just be the only one at fault here...)

ETTE: (...Y-You seem really nice, i-if it means a-anything...)

...Ette seems to be on the verge of tears. Of course, a puppet can't cry, but nothing's stopping her from feeling awful. She remains with Packo, trying to find an answer from him.

Venia discusses sleeping arrangements with Nia. Nia ponders this for a moment, raising her now-mobile right arm to her lips, assuming the thinking face.

NIA: Hm... I kinda like this couch.
NIA: When'd we get a new one, anyway...?

NIA: As for you...
NIA: ...Hm.
NIA: You should join me~

Cue Venia likely getting red-faced and flustered. Nia laughs at herself (and perhaps at Venia), before dismissing the idea.

NIA: It's a joke, don't worry~
NIA: I mean, there's probably a spare bed somewhere, right? Sleeping on the mat can't be comfy...
NIA: Maybe you should go and find that precious lil' angel named Maria, and make sure she's alright?
NIA: I don't see her anywhere, so...
NIA: Yeah. Go watch over her- I bet she's worried sick!

After that exchange, Venia gifts Nia with the hair-dying cap. She immediately pops it on, motioning for Venia to activate it.

NIA: Oh gorilla yes! I'm already sick of having brown hair.
NIA: Reminds me of... well, you probably know already.
NIA: I'd like my hair to go back to... "normal", please. Cyan is totally a normal hair color!

NIA: Also, you should try... red hair. Not like, redhead red, but like, an actual red. I think you'd look pretty nice like that!
NIA: ...Or maybe purple? Point is, I think you'd look awesome with basically any hue.

She then sets up Nia's gear at the foot of the couch for tomorrow morning. Nia gives Venia a gentle smile.

NIA: Anyway, I guess it's getting late, isn't it?
NIA: Goodnight, Venz!

While Nia and Venia are probably busy napping, Venia's Hat does some research! It inserts 260 Samples into the lab, producing 2 Crystal Energizers, the Blade Rush spell Tome, the Warp Ring, and its "Zip" upgrade module! He also gifts 250 Credits and 16 Samples to Chaos to purchase an Aspect of Void for Bass!

also, since we forgot:

ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: I Don't Know Who This Is
+200 Credits!

The Engie Drone repairs a wall. It's fortunately somehow rather silent, not bothering the sleeping Marron and Toast as the wall is painted into being with 4 Megabark. It, as the post notes, looks out of place. Still though, it'll prevent any Iti from flying into the room as people sleep.

Then, at some unknown hour, Calibri opts to call the Mindscape and speak to Memory Chloe. He dials her with the Mindscape Radio, and patiently waits...

...

...

MEMORY!CHLOE: Muhhhhh...
MEMORY!CHLOE: It's... r-really late, b-but... g-gotta...
MEMORY!CHLOE: hold on, j-just...
MEMORY!CHLOE: ...

She takes a deep breath.

MEMORY!CHLOE: Calibri, right? Heya!
MEMORY!CHLOE: It's been a long day, but... what is it?

She awaits a response from the comfort of probably her home. In the background of Chloe's area, you can see that she's mounted the Yaga's tongue-lamp-eyeball on the wall, as well as Maxim's gigantic stinger tail thing. She's clearly been busy!

Ansem, Prince of Carpentry, fixes the roof. He makes use of 13 Refined Wood to repair the various damaged tiles. It's probably not a great idea when compared to say, brick shingles, but it'll do.

Hex takes a level in Janitor, using a Skyroot Log to make a broom! This is then used (and broken) sweeping up a lot of the Iti guts around the heouse.

He then decides to upgrade Chloe's Laser Machine Gun! He nearly completely flubs the repair as it's really not a minigun. In fact, it's several degrees less complicated than his craftpost makes it out to be, and y'know maybe I should fail it on account of it being generally incredibly inaccurate.

...The craft fails. Perhaps partially for the above mentioned reasons, but mostly because it's really not balanced around being deployed in normal battles. It was meant to be a nice, strong defensive hardpoint for this one special fight. Plus, giving it shells to fire AFTER the high-damage laser barrage would make it a little more busted than it is now, don't you think? You also used a LOT of materials, too. Look, there's generally a lot of things wrong here.

...It's also not a minigun.

Irongutta partakes in some carpentry. He uses 6 Refined Wood and an Iron Ingot to make some boards and nails, which are then used to repair many of the holes around the house. He also places a random towel in front of the flooded room, as he's not a plumber.

Catherine drops in to visit Nana. Nana appears to register Catherine as just another random person in the party, who's equally as crazy as everyone else appears to be. That is to say, her sort of fluster and reaction is pretty boring.

NANA: H-Hi! Yeah, that's me!
NANA: ...Are you new around here? T-There's been a lot of new faces around the place today...
NANA: But yeah! I'm Nana! Anything you need?

She patiently awaits an answer from the vampire. Elsewhere, Auth dashes to another member of his harem Taeda, and asks Taeda if she can help tend to Willow and Salix's wounds.

TAEDA: Of course!
TAEDA: Here, could you tend to Salix? I've been busy with Willow here...
TAEDA: Thanks for the help!

The two of them work quietly as they tend to their friend's wounds. At least, until Taeda speaks up.

TAEDA: H-Hey, do you think the house will be okay?
TAEDA: Like, will we need more defenses? I-I feel like there's gonna be more Iti in the future...
TAEDA: I just want everyone to be safe, is all.

Auth also offers to help fix Chaos's stop stand, but he is promptly refused.

CHAOS: no
CHAOS: a man mus[t] repair his shop alone
CHAOS: [t]his is serious business

Chaos promptly randomly vomits up a hammer that smashes into the ruins of the stand, repairing 0.01% of it. He'll probably have it fixed come daybreak.

...

Finally, something resembling quiet falls over the house.

And, with no more interruptions, a new day dawns. And with that new dawn, the day turns. Life bustles and blooms around the planet, causing some moderately small shifts to all previous zones! In addition, your quest has revealed the route to Zone 4: The Old Pass! You have a moment of calm to explore the town, or perhaps do other fights that you need to catch up on. The caravan will pass through once you all commit to waiting for it to arrive, so be wary of that! Enjoy your stay in the beautiful red valleys of The Old Pass. Just be warned- something may be watching you!

Adrian and his friends go out into the Old Pass, the Celeste soundtrack blaring on each of their music player devices. Like, a different soundtrack for each of them. Without any headphones connected. Playing at the same time. It probably sounds horrible. They're also awkwardly doing Fortnite dances. Wait, did we lose any Fizzy Beverages lately? Oh wait, Adrian's not there anymore.

He's at Yume's, somehow.

As the sun slowly makes its way above the horizon, a man enters the ruins of the village. His green cloak is covered with dirt, dark brown hair tangled and full of twigs. His face is sunken, as if he has been travelling nonstop, and he walks with a slight limp as he makes his way up to the only intact house.

William Woodthorne, known to most as Woodthorne, knocks on the door, another adventurer hoping to put a stop to the cataclysm that threatens to destroy everything.
