The DTG forums don't seem to have a lot of active games.
I've been wanting to start an active game for some time.
Third time's the charm?
Let's begin!

To kill a god is to become a horror.
To kill a godmodder is to become a hero.
To kill a godslayer is to become a legend.

Once, The Code was ruled by three gods, who ruled over and created The Game.
One plotted against the other two, craving their power for himself. He was not content with simply creating The Game. He wanted to rule it. In doing so, he slayed the other gods. In this act, the world was split in three. One section crumbled into ruin. One section was consumed in flame. And the last was overruled by Tyranny, slowly falling into the hands of the Godslayer. And if he succeeds in consuming it in his wrath, he will have the power to expand his grasp - to other games, and then to reality!

The only thing more dangerous than a Godmodder is a rogue God. The time has come to rise against this new threat. In this new alternate reality of DTG, the world is at risk, not just the game.
You must destroy the Godslayer, and rebuild the world. That is your quest.

Succeed, and you become a legend. Fail, and the world ends.
What do you do?

Quests
Main Quests:
Destroy the Godslayer!
Side Quests:
None

Entities

[GM] The Godslayer: 248.5/250 HP. A bit miffed about being interrupted during dinner.
[AG] King_Fuffy: 50/50 HP.
[AG] Alistair: 50/50 HP. Driving a car. Inside. Because screw safety! How did it even get in here?

Legends tell of a monster more legendary than the Dragons, one more powerful than even the darkest horrors of the Underworld. They say that at the dawn of time, a human decided that he should be the most powerful being in the world. Long Story Short: He almost did. And then the gods said "Nope."

You and a ton of other random people with random powers are walking along when suddenly, surprise, you're all teleported into a strange dimension. Seems that creature I was talking about earlier decided to finally dig out. And guess who has to deal with him?

NOW ENTERING: THE BATTLE GATE

With the snarky intro out of the way, it's time to begin! You all are standing facing away from a wall extending to the horizon, with a single door leading basically nowhere. To your left a few miles is a forest, and to the right a hundred or so miles is what seems to be a huge mountain range. Oh, you also see a couple guards and the Godmodder.

Welcome to a game that's totally not a partial parody of D&D: Goblins and Godmodders!

THE BATTLE GATE

[GM] Godmodder - 250/250 HP, AC ???
[MG] Gate Guard - 30/30 HP, AC ???
[MG] Gate Guard - 30/30 HP, AC ???

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Important Role Definitions:
[GM] Godmodder - The Godmodder. Your enemy.
[MG] Minion of Godmodder
[P] Player - Self-explanatory. You all are this role.
[AP] Player Allies - Your allies.
[R] Artifact - A notable object.
Others will either make sense or not be supposed to make sense.

Welcome to my own personal DTG Game! The purpose of this is simple: for me to actually run a DTG game, something I've wanted to do for a while. Updates are whenever I have the time to do them, most likely weekends and afternoons. With that, let's get into this.

QUOTE

The legend of those who have conquered the Godmodders have spread far and wide across the lands, striking hope into the honest people and fear into the hearts of the aspiring Godmodders. But this does not stop some from trying to one-up these people.

One such person was, until recently, on the brink of becoming one of these Godmodders. With their powers, they decided to take a step above the other Godmodders and do something none had been so atrocious to think of doing. They challenged a god to battle, cheated their way through it, and stole the god's powers for their own, hoping to finally be able to ruin the fun of all players, once and for all.

But not everyone was willing to sit idly. Some challenged the authority of this now-powerful Godmodder, and the Godmodder, smirking at the audacity of the people to challenge a god, decided to humor them. He built an entire world arena with his powers, modified to his own design, and gave the players a deal. If they managed to defeat him, he too would join their side, giving up his powers to help destroy the evils he was a part of. But if he won, he would continue his antics, and destroy the entirety of Minecraft.

It is now time for you to do what you do best. Defeat what is possibly one of the toughest Godmodders to ever exist.

DEFEAT THE GODSLAYER.

The rules are quite simple.
1. I, as the controller of the Godslayer, have the final decision on all rules and matters.
2. The Godslayer is very powerful. Don't expect to fool around and have attacks work. To defeat them, you'll need to use creativity and fight smart.
3. Expect to go on many side quests to gain power.
4. I recommend not siding with the Godslayer, as he'll probably backstab you at some point.
5. Amendments to the rules may be added at any time.

Guide to Alignments:
Important alignments to consider are as follows:
[GS] The Godslayer. He is the only one with this alignment.
[SA] Godslayer's Ally. Will oppose anyone who is an enemy of the Godslayer.
[SE] Godslayer's Enemy. Will oppose anyone who is an ally of the Godslayer.
[N] Neutral. Doesn't align with or against the Godslayer.
[P] Peaceful. Will not fight anyone, but may be aligned either way. Usually followed by another alignment.
[H] Hostile. Will fight anyone. Basically neutral, but aggressive.

Any other alignments will either be contextual or are not supposed to be known.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[GS] Godslayer. 9500/9500 HP.
