[THIS POSTS MAIN TARGET: acolyte]
[ACTIONS: hey, i just had an idea! instead of me making big posts to try and damage the acolyte, how about we switch things up a bit? i will be putting
the acolyte in bad situations, and /HE/ must respond creatively to avoid taking damage!
i start by challenging the acolyte to land an airbus A380, after not one, not 2, but 200 assorted birds have all flown directly into all of the engines, the landing gear are all stuck up exept for the left rear gear only, he is almost out of fuel and the nearest airport to land at is 20,000 blocks away at new minetown, and the avionics are all dead, as well as the autopilot, and hydraulics. and he is flying through a major storm. and on a collision course with a UAV armed with many explosive weapons. with me actively shooting the airbus the acolyte is piloting with AA cannons the whole time! the acolyte's airbus must not crash, be blown up by the UAV, be shot down by me, or generally wind up in flames and/or pieces at any point in the challenge, and must land successfully! somehow!
to give the acolyte some incentive to land the plane, all of the [PA] players and entities are passengers on it!]
[OTHER:-]
Uh oh.
The Acolyte first lays down a runway track directly in front of him, that happens to be padded! He lands softly, allowing everyone off the plane without much more trouble.
"Here we are. I wonder what there is to find here..."
I promptly fail to remember my DND training, and start wandering around the plateau without paying all that much attention to anything that isn't interesting.
You have decided to walk up to a higher elevation on the Plateau! You encounter a Roc's nest on the way there, but there's a small, stout pillar that you could use to bypass the nest. You could take the risk of dealing with an angry Roc for some loot, or pass it by and go on with the adventure. You seem pretty well-equipped, and hey, there's a campfire nearby! The sun IS going down in your area...
[RP AND ATTACKS]
The Tank Artillery Tube should have cooled down a long time ago, so I turn it on, point, and fire it at Cthugha, whose flames make it explode faster. This probably is a RESIST point, but if I have a Spoil, might as well use it to find out.
[ENTITY ORDERS]
Gertrud gives Depression to the Mook on the highest health. Daiyousei focuses down the Assault Rifle Mook, while the Guardian locks onto the Mook with the highest health.
[CHARGES, ALCHEMIES AND ASSISTS] Aspects of Darkness 1/20 ==================== Mojang's Enforcement 7/15 =============== Five_OVER 2/20 ==================== +1 to Revan (next up, sunnyau)
[BREAKDOWN AND OOC]
(Well, that was simple. There is only so many times you can come up with flavour text for a Spoil usage. I get the unfortunate feeling that the Tank Artillery Tube is closely related to the Fire element, making it a RESIST point.)
Your entities will do as you command.
The impact of the tank shell is not a RESIST point! You deal the full 12 damage to Cthugha. Sorry for not keeping track of that.
Action: I use my magic and teleport myself to the entrance of the Mountain.

[RP AND ATTACKS] ConsumerOfAll: So, Anti-Acolytes. ConsumerOfAll: I'm actually sort of worried right now. ConsumerOfAll: The Acolyte and Cruci's plans are going rather well, and this is a lot of Mooks. ConsumerOfAll: We've dealt with more in a single group, but they didn't have constant back up. ConsumerOfAll: Anyway, focus down the Acolyte for the next few turns, while trying to block of the portal. ConsumerOfAll: SUMMON. LOTS. QUICKLY. ConsumerOfAll: The Narrative frowns on charge-spamming, so don't do that, but get things out quickly. ConsumerOfAll: Item-summoners, so basically only Blinky, use them. ConsumerOfAll: We need a lot of force out, stronger than about four Mooks, in the same span of time. ConsumerOfAll: I have a lot of that, but still. ConsumerOfAll: After focusing down the Acolyte, go for stronger HP Mooks, and use entities to kill Mooks in the EoTB. ConsumerOfAll: Anyway, see you after I take down the flame abomination.
I expend 3 Aer Vis, to create a vacuum around Cthugha. As fire needs oxygen to survive, Cthugha starts diminishing extremely rapidly. Unfortunately, as Cthugha is an eldritch Outer God flame, or something, I suspect that isn't enough. As such, I use the native Vis in the Aer to start expelling magic from the area as well, just in case it burns off magic. Hey, Nyarly, if you can read Update Terminal text, can you confirm if Cthugha burns off anything. Anyway, after the area is an air and magic vaccuum, dust and other particles travelling out with them, I think to what would make this place a complete vacuum, just to see if I can replicate one. Let's see, Cthugha is still inside. That may be a small problem. I can't really fix it. Oh well.
[ENTITY ORDERS]
Gertrud gives Depression to the Mook on the highest health, similarly to last turn. Daiyousei heals the Guardian. Anthonies murder the Pistol Mook.

Can I also state that I like the team of Daiyousei, the Guardian, and maybe Gertrud. The Guardian deals high damage, Daiyousei heals the Guardian before enemies can kill it, and Gertrud weakens the enemy, furthering the Guardian's damage. I also like being the person here with the strongest entities. Speaking about entities, while items are very important, we need more, stronger entities on the field. Fast.)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
My avatar explains everything.
Inventory will be put here when resurrected, and Chaos, Terraria and Salvation will also be added here.
Revan heads for the bridge, wondering about her inventory and unsure what the point of this all is. while the Phanatom puzzles about its health. Also I allow ArcaneDreamer to join this quest for a lightsaber
Cthugha is a little more than just a flame abomination but slightly less than an Outer God. It's... the First Flame, it can burn even in a vacuum, fortunately your attack should still weaken it. It appears it violates the conservation and thermodynamic laws worse than a bad Sci-Fi movie ever could. But fortunately we shall remedy the problem entirely, both realities and ours. And then... the fun really starts.
Heheheh
Nyarlathotep summons a massive Eternal Arm, the pale thing extending over to Cthugha and attacking it with the same motion as one would snuff out a candle upon the First Flame. It casual grinds Cthugha in its fingertips before retreating back into its portal as quickly as it came.
The sounds of a battle in the distance cause a certain female teenager named Fanta to finally snap out of her daydream. Apparently, she's been walking while not paying attention to the real world.
Not exactly a wise course of action.
Despite this, the teen took this in stride and glanced around at her surroundings.
'An abandoned castle...? Huh, I didn't know one was so close to the city!'
Her cheerful appraisal of the situation was quickly dampened, though, upon remembering what she heard moments earlier.
'Oh yeah, there was some sort of fight... That's rarely a good thing.'
Curiosity and concern piqued, Fanta quickly began to make her way over to the noises.
Hmm. On the one hand, treasure. On the other hand, it's kind of difficult to figure out whether it's worth going after due to the Roc's stats not showing up yet. Perhaps it would be better to mark that location down for later, ya know. And then head off to the campfire.
Bad news! I had a decently-sized amount of homework to get through, and in addition, I got sidetracked. So, regrettably, there will not be a post today. However, you should expect some form of progress on Wednesday! Plus, my picture for the Persecles Subplot is complete, which should allow things to get more integrated with the main plot from here onward.
@Gm, I don't quite understand what you mean by rereading the charge.
Action:I see around the Frosty Mountain with care.
Entity Commanding Action:
The TNT Cannon idles.
The Flak Cannon gives one of the bullets to Gertrud(not friendly fire, but simply giving resources), making it generate 1 more Anthonies per turn. It then shoots the Pistol Mook in their head while they are suffering from Depression.

Armor, eh? The HP's going down, since this is regenerative armor, and it'll only regenerate HP when it's uncharged.
Nothing seems to be going down around here. Mind exploring?

Well, the first Godmodding War acted in sort of a pendulum. It'd be natural for the Acolyte to get the upper hand this time around.
You deal 10 damage to Cthugha! Your entities will do as you ask.

====[Revan's Sidequest]====
You guys are trekking across a bridge when you encounter a squad of Rogues. They seem like they're hungry for loot as well, an unlike you, their preferred method of getting it is taking from other players. And they seem pretty successful, too... their leader managed to get a gun somewhere.
<Psycho_Roamer> Hey, those guys might beat us to our loot! Kill them!
Everyone prepares for battle! Revan's rage subsides, allowing him to think more fluidly.
====[ConsumerOfAll's Sidequest]====
Cthugha, as it takes damage from poison, casts a heat blast at you! This deals 2 damage to you and 2 to your armor.
====[Persecles Subplot]====
If you haven't read this from the beginning, go read it! It begins on the first update of Page 79.
I decide to engage in a post-contest conversation with Thucedotus.
"Well," he says, "we seem pretty even overall. Want to call this a draw?"
"Sure thing," I reply. "Now I gotta get back home and prepare my speech for the investigation."
"I figure that it would help if I get into my military gear," my lieutenant responds.
"Of course it would," I answer. "Meet me over by my palace at my podium. It'd help to spread word by mouth as well."
"Will do," he obeys.
And with that, we both part ways with my plan in action.

Inventory changes! I have now made it so that items are bulleted, making it so that your inventory easier to read. This applies if you have 2 or more items. No more getting confused between items!
I never said you could do that. I just wanted you to re-read the charge for me! Then I could re-implement it.
You travel over to the Frosty Mountain in order to start a brand new sidequest.
Well, sunnyau's action was going to the Frosty Mountain.
Hat made permanent!
You throw the fireball at the TNT, causing a huge explosion that creates a lot of collateral damage to the environment! 8 damage to battlefury13!
Uh oh.
The Acolyte first lays down a runway track directly in front of him, that happens to be padded! He lands softly, allowing everyone off the plane without much more trouble.
The Acolyte has already made the padded runway! Any crash would have been severely dampened by the padded runway.
You watch for any sudden or hostile movements from royindy965.
Your entities will do as you command.
The impact of the tank shell is not a RESIST point! You deal the full 12 damage to Cthugha. Sorry for not keeping track of that.
You have teleported yourself to the instep of the mountain region. Now you just need to look around.
You gift royindy965 with your Battered Crossbow! What folows will be listed in the EOTE.
4 damage to Cthugha with your generic attack!

The Expanding Mook Portal sends out a Mace Mook, a Sniper Rifle Mook, and an Axe Mook! Its emission levels also increase.
The Acolyte obtains a full Dark Magic Meter!

Your gift of the Battered Crossbow touches royindy965's heart! He says...
<royindy965> Wow, thanks! This is in a little worse shape than I imagined, but I could get this patched up, and I'd tip my fedora to you if I had one. I'm an honest player, so here's something for you!
You obtain the Circle-Engraved Chip and royindy965 descends back down the rope he came in from.
Your Rage procs and the Tech Master reaches a new Technology! He'll save it up for when he can work on it.

ConsumerOfAll: So, Anti-Acolytes.
The Guardian fires at the Pistol Mook, even though the Battlefield says he should be looked onto the Assault Rifle Mook, the Assault Rifle Mook is dead, and the EoTB says that he locked onto the Pistol Mook. Daiyousei heals the Guardian. Anthonies murder the Pistol Mook.

[BREAKDOWN AND OOC]
(Oh, so the effect is mainly physical. I thought that it exploded, and the explosion would count as resist.
Fast.)
My avatar explains everything.

[GM]: Welcome to Pain and Suffering. (pls join)

GODDAMN IT
STUPID GENDERFLIP VIRUS
Expect progress Wednesday.
An alternate timeline emerges.
However, we must first start from the beginning...
Your Pending Finished Charge is just what I mean by using it.
Armor, eh? The HP's going down, since this is regenerative armor, and it'll only regenerate HP when it's uncharged.
Nothing seems to be going down around here. Mind exploring?
Indeed I did. Thanks for reminding me! Your Hat & Staff will recharge double this turn.
You deal 2 damage to 2 random Mooks!
Your Enchanted Book is not in your hands yet.
You obtain the Enchanted Page! This can be used on an weapon to increase ONE of its stats.
Suicidal Heat Man summoned! Its defensive boost has been nullified, it will kill itself on any attack, and its Plasma damage will only be applied on a successful attack.
Ritual disturbed!
You deal 5 damage to the Depressed Mook!
Revan asked!
The circular chip appears to be some sort of access key or something. The Force tells you you may find where it is needed sooner or later...
Nyarlthotep begins to charge an attack...
nullitor has asked you the purpose of your journey.
Well, the first Godmodding War acted in sort of a pendulum. It'd be natural for the Acolyte to get the upper hand this time around.
You deal 10 damage to Cthugha! Your entities will do as you ask.
I also note that you have discovered a lovely synergy.
ArcaneDreamer will join you if he so desires. You're getting quite the party.
You head over to the Bridge!
You join Revan on his sidequest within the Castle.
The location of the Roc's Nest has been marked down and you head down to the campfire, going for safety. Do you opt to rest there?
====[The Conclusion]====
Well, that's that. The second half of the update should be coming out tomorrow.
An alternate timeline emerges.
However, we must first start from the beginning...
I petition to give the Technology Master an award for Longest Surviving Entity; having been around since post #540 and he's still here!
/null
My suggestion: Redstone Power Distance
Charges:Reinforced acolyte herald symbol part 3 15/25
Summoning a master of magic 2/12(This summon have continuous magic
power gain and can cast a wide variety of spells for doing nearly
everything from buffing to creating a house or summoning something or
just inflicting debuffs(keeping a definitive spell active costs
energy(so if the master of magic summons a ghost reaver it will need to
spend magic every turn for keeping it active)))
(This summon can do nothing else than casting spells and researching spells(both costs magic energy))
Making soul-bound and permanent the elemental amulet 18/25
Then I null this post
(actually it is either the acolyte or killer pixie which are the longest living entities(since they are entities in addition to be players/bosses))
/null
Longest living SUMMONED entity then...
/null
My suggestion: Redstone Power Distance
The second leg of the update has cometh.

====[engie_ninja's sidequest]====
You can rest by the campfire to restore to full health as well as prepare for the journey ahead. Staying at the campfire to rest will take up some time but is a wise decision.
====[5l1n65h07's sidequest]====
This has been stasised since you are Long Since Idle! if you're coming back, the last update's on Page 75. Also, the last post to feature the sidequest was the post of Page 94.
====[Revan's Sidequest]====
====[ConsumerOfAll's Sidequest]====
Cthugha, as it takes damage from poison, casts a heat blast at you! This deals 2 damage to you and 2 to your armor.
====[Persecles Subplot]====
