This is where most of the Destroy the Godmodder community is located, and the question has been coming up a lot. So, what do you think? Please vote, as this is very important!
Bad news. I know it's Monday and you guys haven't had an update since the beginning for the week, but my computer is choosing not to cooperate and it's running slower than a 2-hour movie. I really need to get all the crap on this thing checked out, because would really love to get this game up and running smoothly. Until then, there's going to be a lot of half-updates and a lot of bad days where I can't post as well! Not only that, a BOSS BATTLE's coming up soon, and I'd really love to get that on track. Welp, complaining about it won't help matters much, so I'm going to stop beating around the bush and let you guys post if you haven't.

Hey guys! To keep you guys happy, I'm going to put out a half-update and get this show on the road. I should be able to push out the other half of the update tomorrow (especially because the entire Anti-Acolyte side doesn't have a target for now!), and I'm prepped for the boss battle. This is going to be a Tazz-style half-update where I just note down everyone's changes to carry out later. Any posts between the two halves of the update will be rendered null, but feel free to chat amongst yourselves about hype for the new boss or whatnot!

I was in the protection of the Player Fort, placing an anvil on the ground.
I then put the High-Powered Laser Gunblade on one side of the anvil and the finished Command Block Enchanting Book on the another side.

It gave a torch of light, based on the anvil, like an beacon.
And when the glow ended, the Enchanted High-Powered Laser Gunblade infused with Command Block Power§¶ is placed on the Anvil.
The Acolyte manages to jump high enough to escape the reach of the sticks when they hit the ground!

[RP AND ATTACKS] ConsumerOfAll: Gaster, I thought you were more eager to murder me. ConsumerOfAll: I guess you're just going to idle until the Acolyte takes damage, before hijacking the role of Chapter boss.
Just because I can, I set the Pure Fox's target to the Acolyte. This will probably do nothing unless I manage to trap the Acolyte.
I decide to see if the Acolyte is immune to status effects but putting him under an constant rain of Splash Potions of Poison, Wither, Slowness, Weakness and Mining Fatigue that cannot be teleported away, ignore portals and refuse to go away until the Acolyte gains all five of these potion effects. Of course, due to godmodding powers, this will do nothing. This is all fun and games to the Acolyte until he realises that the potions that hit him are cursed so that anyone that doesn't get all of the potion effects, aren't effected by all of the potion effects or don't take any damage from these potion effects automatically take 1 to 3 damage. The Acolyte either takes damage from the potions, takes damage from the curse or is forced to keep running or teleporting away from the potions.

While I can say that the Gaster shard won't have the role as the chapter boss, it will have an interesting effect... If you were looking for the chapter boss, look on my imgur page (or don't, it'd probably spoil the surprise)!
The Acolyte decides to take the non-lethal potion effects in order to dodge the brunt of your attacks, yet this makes him a target for the damaging potion effects, and he gets caught in it due to splash potions' annoyingly large splash radius! he manages to cure their effects, but not before he has taken 1 damage! The Acolyte seems to have gotten angry, but you'll have to wait until I finish the other half of the update to find out its aftermath (which, thankfully, includes the BOSS BATTLE!)!
So basically he just create a portal to another world with a bunch of obsidian and a lighter and then go to the nether and receive none of your attacks because they do not go to the other world.

Welp, that's it for now. This is a half-update, so no changes can be applied today. However, I believe I see a BOSS BATTLE incoming! I hope that you guys are as hyped for this as I am! I made a piece of art for it and all, so for the first time you guys can see the first canonical appearance of the Acolyte's looks! However, any posts in between this half (or third?) of the update and the rest of it will be null, but you guys can chat if you want.
Isn't the Acolyte's canon appearance technically on the DTG Wiki? Anyway, 3 damage to the Acolyte out of about 5 in total. This is very good.

The portal still continues to run and will continue to send out reinforcements of Mooks! The Acolyte readies the Dark Magic Meter for expenditure when a Mook hesitates and looks to his commander for courage...
MOOK: Oh, wow, that's a big attack force we're going to try to penetrate.
THE ACOLYTE: I'd go for it if I were you. We've got a lot of firepower on our side, too.
The Lightly Armored Spear Mooks head into battle alongside the Mook Tank, with the Acolyte's Backup Portal close behind!
Here's how this works: You guys have to stop the Mook Tank from breaking through to the castle while taking care of the Mooks the Backup Portal! Your entities should help out with this fight, but the Backup Portal has no HP and can't be neither clogged nor targeted. The Acolyte will become very agressive for the first leg of the fight and use a lot of his DMM left and right, but after that, his Dark Magic Meter should get used up to the point where he doesn't want to waste any more of it and will retreat to rest.
Well, we all wanted a boss battle, so I won't beat around the bush any longer. Let's do this!

Hey guys! To keep you guys happy, I'm going to put out a half-update and get this show on the road. I should be able to push out the other half of the update tomorrow (especially because the entire Anti-Acolyte side doesn't have a target for now!), and I'm prepped for the boss battle. This is going to be a Tazz-style half-update where I just note down everyone's changes to carry out later. Any posts between the two halves of the update will be rendered null, but feel free to chat amongst yourselves about hype for the new boss or whatnot!

The Acolyte decides to take the non-lethal potion effects in order to dodge the brunt of your attacks, yet this makes him a target for the damaging potion effects, and he gets caught in it due to splash potions' annoyingly large splash radius! he manages to cure their effects, but not before he has taken 1 damage! The Acolyte seems to have gotten angry, but you'll have to wait until I finish the other half of the update to find out its aftermath (which, thankfully, includes the BOSS BATTLE!)!

..And out pops the Mook Tank and a quadron of Lightly Armored Spear Mooks to his aid out of the portal, which emanates a flash of comic book-like energy! The portal still continues to run and will continue to send out reinforcements of Mooks! The Acolyte readies the Dark Magic Meter for expenditure when a Mook hesitates and looks to his commander for courage...
MOOK: Oh, wow, that's a big attack force we're going to try to penetrate.
THE ACOLYTE: I'd go for it if I were you. We've got a lot of firepower on our side, too.
The Lightly Armored Spear Mooks head into battle alongside the Mook Tank, with the Acolyte's Backup Portal close behind!
Here's how this works: You guys have to stop the Mook Tank from breaking through to the castle while taking care of the Mooks the Backup Portal! Your entities should help out with this fight, but the Backup Portal has no HP and can't be neither clogged nor targeted. The Acolyte will become very agressive for the first leg of the fight and use a lot of his DMM left and right, but after that, his Dark Magic Meter should get used up to the point where he doesn't want to waste any more of it and will retreat to rest.
Well, we all wanted a boss battle, so I won't beat around the bush any longer. Let's do this!

I wave the Chain Orbiter Mana Wand up, and a wave slams straight into the Mook Tank, flipping it up. A red energy lance then appears in the air and pierces through the Mook Tank's tank treads, opening a hole in it and reducing the Mook Tank's mobility.
