DtG: Destroy the Godmodder (The Broken Masquerade)

"I'll be there in a moment then."
Smirk then vanishes and then reappears in a cloud of green smoke at the neutral grounds. "So, what do you think? I have designed this place to make active plans to attack others ineffective by intercepting the neural signals to make those plans a reality, thus meaning it is truly neutral in terms of conflict. Alongside that it is designed to enforce honesty, thus negating the capacity for betrayal in word, with several security measures set if anyone wishes to attempt to nullify those effects. Also, of course, I flatter myself, but I think the decoration isn't too poor for a meeting room. I hope the others are willing to attend as well, since this whole conflict seems capable of being settled much better, and more quickly, by compromise than by bloodshed."
As he speaks, he uses his powers to have his drone try to scan for the signatures of elemental Earth and Water from the artifacts, so that it may begin tracking Piono.

The mage blinked at the resulting chaos.

"You know Maker, I wasn't expecting this today when I woke up, I have to say give done an excellent job on this hallucination.-" He stops upon sportting the fire elemental.

His eyes narrow.

"A rage demon? Now it makes somewhat more sense." He says, before he aims his staff at the flaming entities.

He gives it a swing, the air chilling near it before he swipes the staff, creating a wave of ice spikes to burst from the ground in the direction of the Fire Elementals.

Hissing in pain as his blight-infested wounds throb, he takes a moment before he recovers and creates an purple bolt of spirit energy, aiming at what he presumes to be the rage demons, before unleashing the Spirit Bolt unto them.

He stumbles as the blight in his body causes hum more pain, causing him to let outhe a gasp of pain and forcing him onto his knees temporarily.

"...I suppose I'll have to figure out what those things are later. Climb 'Mount Celestia', you said?"

Lusiix looks up, taking in the sight of the colossal mountain.

"Very well. I'll see what I can do."

>FREE ACTION: Without another word, Lusiix once again leaps into the air, this time with much more force than before, sending him rocketing up the mountain. How high this takes him I'll leave up to you.

>ACTUAL ACTION: Once he reaches the top of his arc, he begins to descend, and swiftly moves his shield to beneath his feet so as to ride it down, so to speak. With his blazing velocity, Lusiix lands squarely on the nearest convienient CE entity, crushing them under his shield.

[3] Fire rains down from a singular cloud, burning Talos Four.

"Tiamat. You know of the danger we all are in if the invasion cannot be stopped. Boccob's blood warriors and fallen gods would be of grater aid to the battle at Celestia than any other force in this planar system. You must have your forces take their place in the blood war, holding back the demons that do not turn to infighting. I am pulling strings to minimize the risk to you, but you must pay back the loyalty to hell you still owe and defend it while its forces turn from the lesser cosmic threat to this new, greater one."

The Iron Gears grab a second Hekatonkhier and throw it downards towards the Unmanned Ray. G activates their Talos' Victory Buster, an adamantine spear firing out if their hand and directly into the remaining Hekatonkhier's torso. The spear tip explodes, each shard heating up greatly and then expanding rapidly, devastating the hundred handed one's insides. Then the shards all emit a subaudible frequency that shatters the victim's body, destroying it if my math is right (it is).
The Fortresses fire at the Carrier directly with all their arcane might.
The Heavenly Host ascends and begins raining holy hellfire onto the Wall.
The Epic Wizards respectively cast a Prismatic Wall for defense, a Meteor Swarm (on the Ray) and Invincibility on itself.
The Dracoliches soar upwards and land on the Unmanned Ray. They begin destroying it.
While the Divine Soul heals the Storm Giant, it and the Cloud Giant attack the Wall along with the dominated Fire Elementals.
The Skeletal Horde and my AG entities destroy the Experi-mentals.
A segment of wall on Chronias opens revealing a large lens, magnifying a pair of eyes...

"This is your strength? Then I have to commend how skilled you are at hide and seek. You hide behind a army, hide behind gifts from those greater then you. Let me show you actual strength."

Karp!Astrec reaches out, and grabs the Wall. They focus one charge of Body, and supercharge every part of themselves, summoning hundreds of hands made of nanomachines. They then bring their hands together in a crushing motion, and every hand smashes down on the wall, crumpling every bit of it they can grab, the spot Astrec grabs melting from pure force. Astrec then extends a lance of light, and fires it right through the Wall, hopefully breaking open a hole in it and clearing the way for the forces.

ASCENT
Astrec summons forth a stairway of nanomachines and pure light, ascending upward as fast as they can.

ARMY
Astrec's Clockwork Armillary ascends as far as it can and if possible, Blasts a enemy.

ADDITIONAL
A drone takes a sample of DNA from Astrec's six fingered hand and flies off to take it to JOE.

Round 85(Actually missed one somewhere)
[0x] The Drone send to the Biosphere replies "Well, I can't think of any reason not, so sure!"
"At the moment, I'm collecting samples from everything that looks interestingly powerful. Got any ideas about samples I wouldn't already know of?"
It then does the drone equivalent of glancing towards Certsa- probably tilting the angle of its camera, or something- and continues...
"Say, the ordinary Astrec is a highly destructive accident-fueled menace who accidentally stumbled into some kind of sacrificial contract. I think that means Certsa is a highly Constructive, deliberate and precise beneficial person who will probably intentionally seek out large quantities of small-scale mutually beneficial arrangements."
"What say we try to get them to help too?"

[1x] Well, luckily, I'm currently inside a biosuit in excellent physical condition and with great genes, which is itself wearing a nanotechnological non-"power" gauntlet, and also some alchemies which are has several useful weapons which I don't need reality warping to conjure, so obviously, I will succeed in the awkward, power-free grapple. I do so, stabbing the Stranger a.k.a The Chemist a few times in the neck and legs, and then yoinking the stone, before running away to a safe, power-active distance. Other factors in my favour are my years of practicing swordplay for the Time Being fight, which mean I'm, uh. Really really good at swords, something I doubt the Chemist has done; The Chemist's obviously unstable mental state; and my smaller propensity to rely openly on reality warping nonsense.
If necessary I expend up to 13 Charges to do this.
[1x] As soon as I reach 'powers are functional' Range, this being before the Chemist does because I stabbed them in the legs while we were grappling, I use my Organ to rip up chunks of dirt, of earth and soil from all around me and throw them into the powers-free field, all with easily enough force to send a power-free stranger tumbling into the centre and keep him trapped- as long as the dampening is in effect, anyway. As soon as I throw the dirt and soil, they're entirely mundane rocks, from an entirely mundane source, continuing on their trajectory for entirely mundane reasons. I doubt I can actually Kill the guy, power dampening or no, but keeping a kinda-mundane human trapped beneath rock for, what, a few minutes? That's easy. And, I mean, they might have mundane tech to help them, but it won't be Easy for them to access beneath all the rocks... hm. I make sure to play loud music, too, to keep any voice-activated stuff from working for a little. That should hold them down some. Sure, they did Something with the toothbrush, but they're clearly still being quite limited.
I yell in their general direction as I do this stuff:
"Wow, your arrogance evaporated quickly. and wasn't the only "O5" with more then one digit in their number Mr. Lie? But more importantly..."
"Don't you realise nukes are extremely uncreative?"
"
and anyway you... nghhh
... brought this on yourself."
[1x] I then slip open an eye on the back of my head, and turn away from the rubble and dirt I buried The 'Chemist' in. If the Site's going to be detonated, I might as well grab what I can, While i can, yes? But I'm not exactly well positioned to do so. So instead, I form a link between this body and the CGOC body, allowing one to create a portal to the other with ease, then jump straight up into the air to get well away from this place. Absently, I copy myself a few times with the soulstone for the extra thinking-capacity.

Entity Orders: Void VIII+I is to create a 'facsimile drone'- a drone which cloaks the Void VIII+I and pretends to be the Void VIII+I itself- and run. There's no point in combat here.
If I seem to need help grappling for the soul stone, the drones fire lasers with their inbuilt radiation guns, or something, at the Chemist to help me.

[CGOC 1] I take a moment to add phasing defences to the Cake Polyp and Brain Cakeral, letting them shift into a different layer of reality for a few minutes... or hours... once the Warhead goes off.
[CGOC 2] Next up, I cast a modified version of the arcane eye spell- one where there is no visible sign of the spell, and the vision capabilities are expanded into the energetic- and use it to take a look through every room in the vicinity for anything useful. I imagine there's a fair bit of Stuff I can take here.
[CGOC 3] I then pull on the Link to the prime body, and simultanously grab everything of value in sight (of my arcane eye search earlier). Faster then a Janitor can reasonably respond to, I take a firm telekinetic grasp on each object, then Pull them in at the same time as I rip open a portal to remove each such object from these premises. Additionally, if I happen to sense anything else created by the descended powers of Celstus instead of the Chemist in the area, I grab that too, as well as grabbing the Heart of MEKHANE if it's in the area. If I don't get the Heart, or I don't get the partially-completed Voidship I was started on, I don't leave this round, otherwise I do so through the portal.
The Fourth Praetor grins from ear to ear. "I KNOW JUST THE THING!" ending the baseball game, he flies deeper into the biosphere rainforest, leading the drone to a large clearing. At it's centre, a titanic salamander-like creature easily 50 meters in length sleeps peacefully. "this is one of my new friends. i don't have a name for them yet," he whispers, tapping at one of it's claws. "you see this? they're poisonous. cool, huh?"

Hearing the comment about Certsa, he shrugs. "maybe? distortion's confusing"

Despite being unable to use any Descendant powers, in a concerted action using all your Alchemies, and your available drones, you break through the Soul Stone's barriers to attack the Stranger. You acquire the Infinity Stone by prying it from his unconscious hands, pinning him to the ground by sticking the no-longer-usable Eternity's Eradicator and Structurally Sound Red Matter Katana. Its powers expended, the Heavenly Nanogauntlet deactivates. Staggering out of Karpinsky's range, you leave The Stranger under earth and stone next to him, and create a link to CGOC.

As the Janitor flees to find shelter, CGOC makes modifications to the Cake Polyp and Brain Cakeral. It's Arcane Eye locates the Voidship plans that were began by Celstus, as well as a massive collection of Machine Energy radiating from the centre of a large three-box structure. Judging by the size of both objects, it's going to take a bit more effort to move them.

Void VIII+I ordered!

The nedben lifts their space helmet visor to reveal the humanlike face beneath just a little, and blows away a handful of conjured powder into a strangely large cloud of rusting agents, some conceptually imposed and others chemically mundane but specifically iron-reactive. The cloud as a whole arcs past the chaos of the battlefield, again aiming to disrupt the Third Praetorian's armor through unwelcome reactions, and if it misses it will probably hit the ship they're standing on as a large target. The cloud's trajectory is controlled by will of reality warping, so we'll see if we can hit him or not past the evasion bonus.

It is once again a scan, this time merely the nedben watching as the Praetorian reacts to see if they counter or spend action, even if just to favorably dodge.

Agents dispersed, the nedben lowers their visor again and auto-ascends through a mix of the spell effect and non-artifact flight ring they've had since the first fight.
As your dust travels up the mountain, a stray puff of wind blows it across the Lucrehulk right before it can make contact with the Third Praetor. There's no way that wasn't caused by him. The powder eats away at the ships armour directly beneath the Prince, weakening the particular area around him. ((That'll probably be a low-accuracy area to strike that ignores armour later, not too sure how to balance it at the moment, but it's there.))

Among other things from your observations, you come to the conclusion that the Third Praetor is capable of probability manipulation.

[PG] The Third Praetorian. 60/70 Hp. 12 Armour. Elevation: 7.
ACTION (3/round)
???
Vex: Give target -100% Penalty to all rolls.
PASSIVE
Siderium: Armour primarily composed of unique non-alchemical, yet conceptually imposed iron. Cannot be affected by Eidokinesis. Takes over electronic devices brought into immediate proximity.
Sol Messiah: Divine Manipulation of Light. In addition, rolls twice to determine accuracy in his favour. Attackers roll twice to determine dodge in their favour.
Ablation: Nanotech armour designed to be sacrificed in order to soak up attacks, rather than complete deflection. Loses 3 AC per every 10 damage taken.
Diehard: Acquires 15 Regen once below 35 Hp. Cannot regenerate above 50 Hp.

S.H. sheds a single tear at the loss of A'tuin.

S.H.: He was a friend, regardless of me not remembering him.

S.H. decides then to make good use of his metal rod once more. He leaps into the center of the Skeleton Army and drives it straight into the ground. He then picks up a nearby skeleton and bashes it against the rod, creating a horribly loud sound and causing nearby skeletons to fall apart.
You attack the skeleton horde, dealing 32k damage, but they're your allies!
As he speaks, he uses his powers to have his drone try to scan for the signatures of elemental Earth and Water from the artifacts, so that it may begin tracking Piono.
The Godmodder nods. "Very impressive. You've clearly put in a lot of effort to make this place safe."

You scan for Elemental Earth and Water, and locate a massive concentration centred on Moog Station. There he is. You've got him.

He stumbles as the blight in his body causes hum more pain, causing him to let outhe a gasp of pain and forcing him onto his knees temporarily.
You strike six out of seven Fire Elementals, which take 15k critical damage each! The resultant burst of ether briefly reveals shafts of energy extending off into infinity under attack by magic. That's their connection to the Elemental Plane of Fire. I think.
"...I suppose I'll have to figure out what those things are later. Climb 'Mount Celestia', you said?"

Lusiix looks up, taking in the sight of the colossal mountain.

"Very well. I'll see what I can do."

You jump as far as you possibly can, which... isn't actually that far. The Wall reacts to you attempting to climb over it, and extends just over the height of your trajectory. You slam directly into the nanotech, the barrier puckering as it sends you back towards the ground, having only reached Level 2. Despite this, you do deal 30k damage to The Wall, crushing many nanites from your initial impact.
[3] Fire rains down from a singular cloud, burning Talos Four.

A drone takes a sample of DNA from Astrec's six fingered hand and flies off to take it to JOE.
The Third Praetor laughs to himself. "Please, David. Coming from you, that's rich. Of all the people in The Void who know the value of laying low..."

Your nanotech fights with that of the Prince's. Using a 12 Charge and Body, you level the Wall and fly up to the Fifth Layer of Celestia. JOE acquires a sample of your hand.

The Walls of The Garden, the Seventh Layer of Heaven open like a shutter, the lens it reveals magifying an eye on the other side. As it charges up, the many wizards within scramble to dominate the summoned Fire Elementals the Third Praetor called the previous round, only to find him blocking their attempts.

"Not yet, I need to get my action's worth..."

Knowing their time free is limited, the Fire Elementals take out the Divine Soul and Storm Giant 2 before they fall under Chronias' control. I can just tell the Prince is smiling behind that mask. Raising an arm, he clenches his fist. The Nanites covering the mountain rapidly flow together, forming spindly black threads which weave together into solid black spikes, skewering their targets in the blink of an eye. In addition to their initial use, they form a difficult defensive barrier for further advancement. Layers 5 to 7 can only be moved up one at a time. 60k to the Skyfortresses, 55k to the Iron Gears, 15 critical damage to the Fourth Talos.

The Lucrehulk releases another two Attack Ships, as well as firing it's Turbolasers upon the Skyfortresses, dealing another 90k and 180k to them. The Attack Ships themselves chip at an Iron Gear for another 120k damage. "Damn the Null." The Higher Carrier releases another barrage of high-velocity railgun rounds, shooting down one Skyfortress and an Iron Gear, as well as dealing another 12 damage to the Fourth Talos. It releases more Fighters, which fires upon the other Iron Gear for another 85k damage.
-15 AG Morale

The remaining Skyfortress waits as the lower Carrier is brought down to layer 4 before pelting it with Meteor Swarm, dealing 290k damage in total, destroying it, as well as drawing out Fire Elementals from its wreckage. The two Hekatonkhieres pull another two chunks of earth from the ground, crushing the other Iron Gear, and dealing 44 damage to the Fourth Talos. While it otherwise would've fallen, the fires of it's internal engines regenerate it back up to 19 hp. Using the Victory Buster, it critically injures one of the Hekatonkhieres for 56 damage, but falls short of killing it.
+5 AG Morale

Seizing it's chance, the lower Hekatonkhiere sweeps its hundred blades about the Fourth Layer without resistance, taking out the Heavenly Host. The Unmanned Ray unleashes a barrage of Cluster Missiles, destroying the Skeleton Horde, as well as dealing 25,000 damage to the Cloud Giant General. The Epic Wizards cast Prismatic Sphere and Invulnerability, generating an impressive barrier to protect themselves with, followed by a casting of Meteor Swarm upon the Unmanned Ray, which summons more controlled Fire Elementals, as well as dealing 225k damage. Taking off, the Dracoliches land upon the Unmanned Ray and begin clawing at it, dealing a brutal 455k damage. Knowing their time is at an end, the Experi-Mentals destroy and in turn are destroyed by the Stone Giant Warriors.
-7 AG Morale

After all is said and done, all the other AG forces move up a level? Yeah.

The Harrier Jets spray their machineguns at JOE and his forces. 6 Damage to the Biosuit, 30k damage to each drone.
CRACK. What just happened? The Statue seems to have moved. One of the drones has been destroyed, and now it seems to be... standing right in front of you.

The Destroyer continues to approach the Void VIII+I. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to have caught on to the fact that you've made a projection of a second version of the ship. The work of the repair drones restore another 50k Hp.

The Collector Drones sho what samples of DNA they've collected so far. You can bring them back to the Laboratory to acquire those samples for further synthesis.

"Let you talk and waste valuable time? Not when so much is at stake. The Teleportation Circle Coordinates and Passcode will be provided to you. Send your forces through to help as rapidly as possible. I have a daughter to save."
Nerà casts Invincibility, Burning Blade, True Strike, Haste and finally Teleport keyed to a certain Circle.
Nerà appears in a golden room, eyes ablaze with arcane witchery that channels dread energies through the windows to his soul. The Aumas that meet him stop themselves from pestering him with petty requests once they see that their Emperor has entered a state of vicious single-mindedness. Nerà takes to the air on dragon-like wisps of indigo flame, riding eldritch magics out onto Celestia.
While climbing up the Mountain is a momentous task, soaring down it is much easier considering that none of the PG defenses are set to stop that. Also, Nerà happens to be a god damned wizard. He flies past the Lucrehulk and through the Carrier (via Dimensional Door, obviously). By the time he collides with the Hekatonkhier he is trailing flames as the air itself burns in his wake. And collide with it he does, taking advantage of his magical Invincibility to shear through the weaker Hekatonkhier and slam the Ebony Staff's wicked red blade of energies foul into the stronger one. The shockwave hits a moment later, knocking over the flaming corpse of the slain hundred handed one. The one still standing (if indeed it still stands) bursts into flame from the spell. This is not enough though, and so the Emperor gives his opponent a mighty kick. One that, thanks to a certain belt, has the force of a Storm Giant backing it.
Nerà soars upwards and, with a word, rains what appear to be molten adamantine arrows down upon the Hekatonkhier.
Still flying upwards, Nerà transmutes the Hekatonkhier's internals into screaming infant kobolds.
Still ascending, Nerà channels spell after spell after spell after spell into the Ebony Staff. "Booming Blade. Enchant Scythe: Giant Slaying +3. Mordenkainen's Blade that Doesn't Suck. True Strike." Still ascending, past cloud and sky. "Vorpality. Elemental Infusion: Lightning. Elemental Infusion: Earth. Rapier Wit. Ar'Cin's Edge. Ghorn's Touch. Angolin's Kick-ass Super-awesome Deathifying Nuclear Chaos Destruction Spell of Flaming Raging Poisoning Doom." The last one is said with a scornful tone and a derisive eyeroll. He's stopped shooting upwards, ascending casually now as though he's already reached his height goal. He looks down at his target, the enemy looking so small from where Nerà rests, wings of flame beginning to peter out. He is ready, nearly. A few more spells:
"Twinned Double Gravity. Maximized Explosive Strike. Quickened Acceleration. Maximized Enlargement: Self. Dispell Flight: Self."
And so, with four times the mass, double the speed and three times standard gravity pulling it all down, Nerà shoots towards the ground with a blade that- even despite him not knowing it's true nature and history- he still is fully confident in its ability to kill gods.
"CLEAVE"
And cleave he does. Straight through the Hekatonkhier, blade first, as well as through several feet of mountain before he can dimension door himself back above to fall upon the enemy a second time. And a third. And a fourth. And a fifth and sixth and seventh time until the velocity is gone and the magicks are spent and the Hekatonkhier is in pieces and Nerà, who had long since dispelled his magical Invincibility, collapses in the crater he made and littered with the flaming chunks of PG entity. Then the blade releases it's Maximized Explosion, covering the fifth layer of the mountain in flame that takes a minute or so to leap and crackle in primal forms before dying down.
[3 Actions and all CP spent]

Chronias aims it's lens at the third Praetorian... Auma (the one on the battlefield) shivers slightly, which looks rather silly since he's in the body of a big green hulking skeleton man.
The Talos, its pilot in awe of her father's devastating brutality, flares its internal 'engine' like the sun to overdrive it's heals. The crystal blade sticking out of its back gleams with the light of internal fire. Gloria aims her canon-arm at the Hekatonkhier at charges up a devastating magical attack. A single bead of azure energy floats slowly towards the Hundred Handed One. One contact with it it pops like a bubble, and from the point of contact a viscous liquid covers the enemy. When the enemy is fully covered in the glowing blue substance it implodes with a soft 'fwoop'. The Hekatonkhier (and several young kobolds) are no more.
The Skyfortress attacks the Carrier directly.
The Dust-Angel pushes it's Hekatonkhier down a level.
The eight fire elementals ascend and swarm the Talos.
The Dracoliches ascend and attack the Hekatonkhier after it's been lowered.
The Arch Wizards Ascend. One, almost as an afterthought, summons an Arcane Consort to try and man the Unmanned Ray in an attempt.to aim it at the Carrier and blast it. If that fails, the mage just nukes the Ray. The other two Wizards shower the three in healing items to Regen a bit.
The Cloud Giant General ascends, uses it's special on the Hekatonkhier and then throws a boulder at it.
The fire Elementals, T-Rex, Iron Golem 1 and Auma all Ascend and attack the Hekatonkhier. Iron Golem 1 uses it's poison to render the hundred handed one vulnerable to magic while Auma mixes solar beams and artifact blasts with a Star from his crown thrown in for good measure.

[0x] The drone replies "wow! that looks amazing! I didn't really have any good close-combat sources yet, so this will fill for that nicely!". A small compartment in the drone opens up, and shwoops up a few animal sheddings or some such, storing them.
[1x] Now, back on the Site...
I run away. ahhh its a scary sculpture aaaa so scary something something I don't actually have a need to stay there long enough for it to attack me anyway aaaaaa. I'd rather they think their nuke broke MECHANE's HEART then that I stole it. Which will, if all goes well, be the only conclusion they can reasonably make. My drones also flee, except one without samples, which will try to drag Karps skeleton along back with it. Technically the drones shouldn't be anomalous, I think. maybe. They come from scientists in a lab, that's the opposite of anomalous, right? I'll just assume it is.
[1x] I alchemise ((E || The Shadowskin || Motormotorspinningcycle || ~Dead Star Plate || Cursed Void Maiden Scarf) && (phoenix lance || eternitys eradicator)) || A belt. = Tesseract Belt. A fourth-dimensional loop to be worn around your waist. , and use that fourth-dimensional nature to seemingly teleport it to CGOC.
[1x] I also preview-and-then-alchemize-and-transport the following Alchemy, if the result of the preview is favourable.
(container full of condensed fire energy [the symbol which keeps things both items share, henceforth KBIS] container full of condensed ice energy KBIS container full of condensed light energy KBIS container full of condensed blood energy KBIS container full of condensed plant energy) [the symbol that keeps anything that's in either item] condensed Spacial Energy.

[CGOC 1 + 2] I use the spacial powers of the Tesseract belt, along with possibly a significant quantity of Spacial Energy. Rather then trying to lift these heavy objects,I create a spacial array to disconnect the space they inhabit, moving it adjacently into a fourth dimensional space. I then take the stretched area of space, twist it around a few times, and tie it into a knot, before cutting the far side of the knot off. Without the twist and knot, this would leave a gaping wound in the universe; instead, it just makes a moderately-sized area seem smaller then it should be.
[CGOC 3] With MECHANES HEART(?) and the voidship frame in their own little pocket dimension, I deemphasize its proximity to the universe it came from, sending it puttering along at a moderate pace to attach to the Facility. Well, I say moderate, but it's still much faster then the expansion of a nuclear blast front.

Entity Orders: The Drones with samples return to the Facility, which begins its preparatory work to integrate all the genes properly and keep the amalgamation from falling apart. The Drone in Tiamat's place asks if Tiamat would be willing to provide samples if I were to supply them with Descended-grade Youth Restoration effects[1]. Void VIII+I keeps running in stealth and leaves the facsimile drone behind (facsimile drone is to preform moderately fast maneuvers to appear to be trying to avoid the Destroyer, but ones slower then the Void VIII+I is capable of.) to flee. Repair drones repair the Void VIII+I.

footnote: [1]
This may seem counterproductive. After all, Dragons get stronger as they age... but only Up To A Point. then there's a few years within which they must prepare to become dead, which happens in various ways like fusing with the land, going to a secret place to die in, or not having enough treasure saved up and so haunting the earth until they get more treasure as some kind of really greedy ghost.
Tiamat is immortal from being, you know, divine, but if Tiamat didn't have that they would be really really old and quite probably dead from that becoming dead thing that happens to dragons- Tiamat is a very special dragon, but they still aren't Ageless-, so Tiamat is dependant on their continued divinity for their continued Existence, and I think the divinity is only being partially effective at preventing aging? but don't quote me on that last bit.
so Tiamat would probably want to get enough magic youth juice or whatnot to get back into their prime and stop being Dependant on divinity and stuff, as a backup in case people stop believing they exist if nothing else.
Additional footnote: I don't seek out Certsa because, if they are indeed anti-astrec in the way I think they are, they will seek me out themself, and if they aren't then it might be a terrible idea to seek them out.

The Nedben chaincasts, liberating the transmuted-into-existence screaming infant kobolds, causing them to erupt dramatically only to be moved somewhere innocuous and not problematic. A few other situation-specific cleaning spells later, he mitigates other negative effects of defeated enemies and unwanted collateral damage, then ascends.

Astrec expends… a point of mind, body, and soul. A unearthly glow enters the air, and they step off their platform of nanomachines, hovering in the air above the mountain. Astrec points a hand at the mountain, and summons forth a huge pillar of rock, leaping onto it as it ascends upward, pulling them into the zone of the Carrier. He focuses, and the remains of the iron gear join him up there, rocketing forward into the thrusters of the carrier, hopefully damaging them enough to allow him to continue his ascent on the pillar, flying past them. Even more rock erupts from the mountain, pinning the Fighters against the Carriers and hopefully causing chaos. The pillar comes to a stop in the clouds, facing the Lucrehulk.

The nanomachine armor, the power armor he's been wearing, clicks off, falling off Astrec. He jumps off the pillar, landing on the Lucrehulk. The illusion burns off as he breathes in, leveling the Oblivion Buster at the prince.

"Surprise."

Astrec breathes out, and at the same time unleashes 30 CP, a Soul Point, and a Body Point. Focusing on the soul of the mountain, the soul of the Prince, the soul poured into the Lucrehulk as its travelled wherever's its been. The soul of those who've worked on it, fought on or against it. He brings it to life, and then concentrates Body, unleashing pure soul from his body, manifesting as cyan flames that rip across the entire ship, darting towards every form of propulsion this thing has. The CP is split up, aiding in the soul flame's assault and crippling its AC as much it can for whats about to come. As the thrusters get eaten away.. Astrec unleashes two Mind Points, focusing his mind on the mountain. With a yell, he unleashes Gravity magykks, yanking the whole, weakened Lucrehulk straight through the Attack Ships under it (probably ripping through their significantly smaller forms), and straight into the mountain. The prince is pulled away from the Throne, and is then distracted by the hundreds of spikes erupting from the mountaintop, spearing through the Lucrehulk's hull, breaking open fighter bays, and crippling the bottom plating. Astrec then brings his hand down, and warps the mountain, changing the earth, shaping it, to pull the entire Lucrehulk down the mountain. He pulls it down at a angle to smash it into as many things as possible. The gigantic ship is thrown through the Carrier at breakneck speeds (Which probably do, indeed, break someone's neck at this pace), breaking off a chunk of the other ship which sends it spiraling into the Fighter Wing. The Lucrehulk is brought to a stop by a gigantic slab of the mountain forced out right next to the Talos. Astrec then stomps the ground, raising a summoning circle from which the Talos requested on Discord emerges.

This attack and the Talos summoning expend a Lot™ of CP like holy shit. I really hope this is worth it.

Using a final attack, Astrec flips out a grenade and tosses it at the Iron Prince.

"Do I have your attention now? ."
Astrec snaps his fingers, and to add insult to injury, the Clockwork Armillary uses every special at its disposal to blast the Prince. This includes Dispel, which knocks off any buffs he might pull.
"Finally. Everyone, target the Lucrehulk. I'll try and take the Prince down."

With the velocity gained by accelerating through two planar layers, Hekatonkhiere I bursts into Abyssal Soulstuff as soon as you run it through with your scythe. Rising upwards and falling towards the Hekatonkhiere II, you manage to get in one good strike, before he catches on, parrying and deflecting your enhanced blows better and better with each subsequent attempt at casting Dimension Door to reacquire altitude to generate force, preventing any further serious injuries.

An eye opens on the back of the palm of the Hand of Judgement. I swear it just did a cyclopean eyeroll. Regardless, it allows you to ride a pillar of Celestial Marble up the slopes. As you throw the remains of an Iron Gear towards the Carrier in your way, a nanotech net grows, catches and converts the golem wreckage into countless flechettes aimed in your general direction, quickly turning you into a pincushion. Still covered in nanites, the spikes dissolve into your body, reforming into a second second set of muscles opposing your regular movements. -20% Accuracy and Dodge.

Activating the Oblivion Buster on The Prince, it sends forth a sphere of concentrated Oblivion reacting and exploding directly in his face. 8 Damage. Unchanging as ever, his damaged mask stares you in the face as his armour flows to repair annihilated sections.
"Oh. Hello again, Pradis. What a surprise."

The Hand of Judgement glows both Cyan and Magenta, before combining into Indig-

s grip around Astrec's neck. What remains of the Prismatic Wall continue to sparkle around the Dracoliches as the Attack Ships cut them down. Raising the other Descended into the air, the Praetor presents him as a convenient target for bombardment. If those ships were actually piloted, they certainly would've been out for blood, having taken the brunt of the impact from the Lucrehulk's crashing. 10 Damage to Astrec.

In a twist of Fate, The Dust-Angel brings Hekatonkhiere III down from layer 4 to layer 6, taking 9 damage in the process. The Fire Elementals, now unable to reach the Talos move from Layer 4 to Layer 6 as well, to attack the Hekatonkhieres for 32 damage. Seeing it can't harm the Wizards at all, the Unmanned Ray opts to pepper the restrained Astrec with all 10 of the Concussive Missiles it launches, dealing another 55 Damage. The Epic Wizards heal themselves to full Hp, as well as summon an Arcane Consort, which finds itself unable to take over the Unmanned Ray, and instead tears it apart, dealing exactly 85k damage. It then moves to guard the Epic Wizards.
+5 AG Morale.

Hekatonkhieres III throws a massive boulder, crushing Auma for a whopping 50 damage. The Third Praetor winces at the sight. Assisted by their fighters, the Carrier heavily damages the Skyfortress. Instead of releasing more ships however, it opts to launch a pair of missiles: one to finish it off, another to blow up the T-Rex.
-10 AG Morale

On Layer 2, 7 Fire Elementals rush down to layer 5, but are unable to heal the Talos this turn, at least. Unable to use Glibglobink Shell at the moment, Iron Golem 1 deals 3 damage to the Hekatonkhieres, while Auma deals 22 damage total, scanning them while they're at it:

[PG][ELITE] Hekatonkhieres. 18/80 Hp. 4 AC. 10 Regen.

JOE's Drone uses the Alchemiter to create the Tesseract Belt, which due to d i m e n s i o n a l i t y finds itself simultaneously tied around the waist of Cake Guy of Cake. More on that later. It also previews Container Full Of Condensed Fire Energy || Container Full Of Condensed Ice Energy || Container Full Of Condensed Light Energy || Container Full Of Condensed Blood Energy || Container Full Of Condensed Plant Energy || Container Full Of Condensed Spatial Energy == Containter Full of Condensed Magic Energy, but is unable to Alchemize it just yet. It then leaves with it's samples.

((I'm being merciful here, you usually should only be able to Alchemize while you're on the same battlefield as the Grand Alchemiter, but this is interesting.))

The Cloud Giant General lowers the Dodge of Hekatonkhiere III by 20%, before tossing a rock at it to deal 6 damage. The Clockwork Armillary moves as close to the Third Praetor as it possibly can, and fires off it's Dispel and Blast, which connect but don't do anything, because he has no buffs, and his armour is much too high. Sorry.

The burning of Layer 5 heals the Fire Elementals present to full, as well as giving 4 Hp to Talos I. The Lucrehulk fires upon Talos I to deal 42 damage and deploys two more Attack Ships, while the remaining Hekatonkhiere II elects to Whirlwind away 6 of the Fire Elementals. With it's almighty arm cannon Talos I blows the Hekatonkhiere apart into smithereens. Talos II sheds the Nanites from everything that happened during its summoning to Heaven.

At Tu'ranath, Boccob and his forces use Nerà's Teleportation Circle to reach the Seventh Layer of Heaven as well. The Prince turns his head in their direction, his grip tightening further on Astrec. "YOU."
Is this the first time he's shown any emotion?

JOE asks whether Tiamat wishes for Descended Youth-potions.

...That's clearly a no.

At the Godmodder Biosphere, The Fourth Praetor lets the Drone collect a sample of his creature, and waves them off. "bye, mister joe! good luck in your experiments!"

While the stranger remains restrained, and the Sculpture immobile, The Harrier Jets continue to shoot, destroying two drones, and dealing 24 damage to the Biosuit, which it regenerates from the brink to 4 Hp. One of the remaining two drones picks up Karpinksy's Skeleton, which is already beginning to lose it's potency, and the other, holding the DNA from the Dancing Soldiers leaves for The Facility. JOE, his Drone, and CGOC leave The Forest for Space just as the Nuke detonates, the Harrier Jets flying free from the blast, but in different directions.

Now aboard the further-repaired Void VIII+I, the Destroyer takes aim at the faster ship. Clearly, it's confident it can shoot the slower one later. 200k damage to the Void VIII+I. Your ship recieves a transmission which opens itself. It's the King of Earth, sitting upon his mobile throne, the viridian lenses of his glasses glinting in the light.
"Astrec Pradis. Wherever you are, know this: I know you were on my planet again. Remember my warning."
He raises his left hand, which glows a combination of cyan, magenta, and yellow.
It's identical to the Hand of Judgement, but black.
The Red energy signature of an incredibly powerful descended begins to approach the Void VIII+I.
...Get out of there. Now.

[1x] I have the soul stone again! That means I can go back to checking if I'm convincing Without leaving myself stupidly open to attack. I do so, checking whether politely informing the king of earth that actually, my name is JOEbob, JOEbobobobob, JOE bob, or JOE for short, and that Astrec is busy beating his face into a wall of nanotechnology a few universes away. and that I've never heard of the king of earth before in my life. and that if I've somehow offended him, I'd like to at least know Why so I can avoid it in the future. in the Soulstone-test, I also use a stone-simulated Light special to help confirm the truth of my words, and see if it's convincing. then, if they are convinced in-sim, I repeat this action outside the soulstone. In-soulstone, I also check whether his name is "Split" and/or "Adam █████". Other Tacts I try in soulstone (and if successful, out of soul stone) include being weirdly offputting by expressing interest in his limbs, offering him a teleport to Astrec, noting that it's probably not a good idea to make enemies with two descended just to get the attention of a third one, critiquing the unclearness of his message and saying it would have been better replaced with something more direct like "ASTREC YOU BIRCH ARSE MOTHER-RUINER, I SAW YOU ON MY LAWN EARLIER, GET YOUR FACE BACK OVER HERE FOR PUNISHING OR I ROUGH UP YOUR ACQUAINTANCES ", expressing severe bafflement at his tactics, and informing him that actually Astrec and I are mostly just acquaintances and he's kinda reckless so I'm down for helping him teach'm a lesson or whatnot and really, I wouldn't stand in his way if he wanted to bop Astrec in the noggin a few times (not on, in.)... or a hundred times... or a few dodecillion times. I also try apologising for the nuke which went off but make sure to note that it's not actually my fault, seeing as the Chemist stole my stuff, initiated adversarial interactions first, refused to return my stuff, killed loads of my drones, and when I started winning, did the equivalent of throw a temper tantrum by setting off his nuke. How was I to know the Chemist was so immature? or that he'd be willing to set off a nuke? I was just there for a few things he stole from me, it's not my fault that he can't handle justice.
If none of the above strategies work in Soul Gem, my final attempt, occurring out of soul gem without practice, is thus:
"Hello. I don't know who you are very well. King of earth? you resemble a fictional character I read about called 'Split' or 'Adam █████', but that tells me little other then that you're probably connected to METATRON and the result of a Shatter. (Shatters are so pasè. I prefer closed loop personality genesis.)... Regardless. I'm not sure what reason you have to be angry at me, or Karpinsky for that matter- Astrec I dunno, but the camaraderie between me and he is practically completely empty- I can point you his way, if you like, they're in a universe called 'Neraverse' thataway. anyway, I suppose you've likely already got the Chemist's perspective on this incident? Well, the following is mine, and is truthful to my knowledge. I create some cool stuff years in the past. Then I basically stop existing for a few years for complicated reasons. While I'm gone, the Chemist steals all my stuff. I come back. I see my stuff is gone. I find out the Chemist stole my stuff. I track the Chemist down, finding also Karpinsky is fighting some people-I'll get to that later- and help karpinsky out. The Chemist shows up. I tell the Chemist "Hey! You took my stuff! give it back!". The Chemist says AND I QUOTE [I don't really care who you are. My things are my things, and your things are also my things! You are not taking anything from this facility. Not without a fight.]. So, I continue to try to take my stuff back, because if someone robs you, then refuses to give you back your wallet, the appropriate response is not, as he seems to think, letting them keep your wallet. It's Yours! Stealing it from you is Bad and Illegal and you need to TAKE IT BACK AND MAKE HIM PAY."
"...Anyway. I proceeded to, as requested by him, take my things back With a fight. When it looked like I was winning the fight, the Chemist proceeded to throw a hissy fit and set off the On Site Nuclear Warhead, which I proceed to scramble to escape from. And here we are."
"As for Karpinsky, the chain of events there is, I thiiiiink, something like... He wants to make a mecha. He hears about a power source which he'll need for the mecha. He hears about a legendary group which might have the power source. He looks around for the group. He comes across some weird antimemetic soldiers. He says to the soldiers "Hello have you seen this group?". they reply by cutting his ship and possibly his body in half. He fights back. Then the events after I arrived happen."
"You'll notice that in both cases the Chemist attacks entirely peaceful parties and refuses any form of negotiation, and that the Chemist is ALWAYS the one to escalate. If you're trying to be a just king, I hope you can at least understand that there is a reason no nation makes this sort of thing legal."
"If you're not convinced by that, then consider This. Karpinsky and I are both Descended. So, unless you can kill us permanently, fostering bad blood between us will be a big problem for you. I don't know about Karpinsky, but I can promise you that if you don't at least have a legitimate grievance- And you Don't, not against Me, I didn't even know you actually Existed- and you Still try to break my things, I will not relent and I will not shut up and I will not leave you alone until I am Quite Sure you regret it- and even if I weren't the sort to do that, I still wouldn't view you kindly or make any sort of deal with you in the future."
"I've made a similar promise recently. The person I promised to was named The Chemist. Maybe you've heard of them. I believe they're currently 'sleeping off' a point blank nuclear detonation after throwing a hissy fit and completely failing to stop me. Clearly, I have followed through."
"Oh, and all those red sentences and multi-word strings are the Red Truth, which is to say they cannot be a lie. not when I say you in red though, that's me indicating who You is by displaying your descended color and it's only one word, not a multi-word string."
"One Last cautionary Note. In the Future, I WILL have access to a power which DWARFS yours, as a whale dwarfs krill. and if ye yet live, and if ye make me an enemy here, I fully intend to level your kingdom to slag, and then level the slag to slag, and turn the slag to ashes. Overreaction? possibly. But it's true."

Everything Below This Point Only Happens If The King Of Earth Refuses To Listen To Reason, talk things out, or otherwise interact in non-lethal manners, unless otherwise noted. if they are polite and reasonable, then I have no reason not to be polite and reasonable too. if he is reasonable, all these actions go to fuzzball improvements and no CP is expended.
[1x] Since combat isn't likely to go my way and negotiations have evidently failed, I move on... to cowardice! I alchemise the thing I was trying to preview, and wrote the preview for- which would be a container of concentrated space energy. I then shuck off my Biosuit, hand the Soul Gem/stone to my Cake, and using the Spaced Out Headband as a focus, 'pick up' the entire Void VIII+I and metaphorically Throw it off into the distant Void, somewhere more proximate to Neraverse but not There yet. just, away from Here. CGOC is likewise sent off into the distance, soul stone in hand, albeit I drop that body off in a remote and irrelevant patch of void. all the drones- and karpinsky's skeleton- are left behind.
[1x] At the same moment, I use earth powers to conjure a critical mass of uranium where the Void VIII+I's power core or some such used to be, causing a detonation to replace its otherwise-inexplicable vanishment. (egh, now that the soul stones sent to safety I'm going to have to fight for control again aren't I.).

[25 CP] now only holding disposable items like those attack-boosting alchemies, I further reduce the being who I shall refer to as Splut until further notice's ability to inconvenience or harm me by expending almost all of my charge. If it was necessary to remove the Biosuit and stuff from the premises, then it was used earlier I guess, but otherwise I pour this 25 CP into my Fuzzballs. unlike actions, this causes no visible change, rather super-charging the entire assembly. for whenever I eventually finish with it.
[0x] Seeing the Void VIII+I explode, I curse. (this is an act to be realistic)
"Darn! What's karp going to think when he hears about this? well, hopefully he'll be understanding that it wasn't my fault. I think."
"Hm. Well, there's not much left to save. I guess I'll go all out and try to yoink this half-mans half-hand or something, since he won't listen to reason anyway."
"or will I? I mean, if I wanted to do that, I wouldn't be saying my plans out loud. would I? Hm. Maybe I should think things through more."

I then pick up two plates and hold them in front of me threateningly.
(note: the 'it wasn't my fault' bit is true because cyan-my means DtG!JOE who is mostly unconscious still.)

[0x] Meanwhile, DefJO tries to wiggle his way through the blank spot in existence created by Indigo. What are those words I just typed?... they probably don't matter. I mean, DefJO? what would that even Mean? this happens whether or not the king of earth decides to be reasonable.
[0x] Scan Destroyer.

[CGOC 1] on arrival into the distant void, I immediately cloak my energy signature and cast Cake Portal to travel to a random other part in the distant void, then fly in a random direction for a few minutes at near light speed, and repeat the process a few times, to throw off any pursuit.
[CGOC 2] I then send off decoys of my cloaked energy signature in all directions, leave an even More muffled energy signature where I am now, and pick one of the decoy directions as my own instead of the decoy I would've sent. After each decoy has traveled about two light-minutes from the centre point, all the decoys, the muffled signature in the origin point, and I vanish. the decoys vanish in a manner consistent with teleportation, and I teleport. Where to? The facility, in my case, but each of the decoys is headed somewhere different.
[CGOC 3] I then arrive at the facility and start healing up the Biosuit back into reasonably high durability ranges.

The mage decides to switch his gaze to Auma, before he mutters tiredly, slowly rolling his staff as it glows green, sprouting leaves composed of nothing but energy that faded away a few moments later.

"Be healed." He mutters, casting a spell to heal the wounded Auma, the Blight slowly receding in face of the life magic that surged through him.

A green bolt launched at Auma, impacting him, and acting like a gel that covered his wounds before stitching the cuts, un-swelling bruises and mending broken bones

Then he sat down for a moment to catch his breath and recover his Mana.

[1] I cast Banishment on Talos 4, returning it to the (Nverse) Elemental Plane of Fire.

[1] Nerà leaps towards the Lucrehulk and cuts through its shield with a lightning-infused slash from the Ebony Staff. Hopefully this crits?

[1] Nerà raises the heat more, the flames on the Fifth level are empowered by the Wand of Fir. Also you forgot to heal Talos 4 from this fire last round.

Chronias has finished charging. Auma Prime is ready. With a whisper within the throne's golden halls, the eye magnified by the large lens inverts and becomes an Eldritch manifestation of cosmic madness. Eyebite is cast at P3, and he's rolling to save from fear.
The Epic Wizards all cast maximized Chill Touch from their heightened point of attack at the Lucrehulk, damaging it but also preventing its shields from regeneration.
The Arcane Consort casts Gravitas, causing the Lucrehulk to slam into the ground.
Auma's magic, artifacts and crown of stars are put to use in finishing off the Hekatonkhier. If that isn't enough to kill it, the Fire Elementals help finish it off.
The Iron Golem bodyguards Auma.
The Dust Angel pushes the carrier into the horde of ships.
The Cloud Giant uses its ability on the Lucrehulk, and then tosses a rock at it.
The final fire elemental communes with the flame, growing it.
Talos 4 Flares it's healing drive while in the plane of fire, impatient to get back to battle.
Talos 7's captain is relieved that his sister is safe for now. It leaps into the air and... fails to fall. Instead, it begins spewing an acid from its right hand, which eats away at the Lucrehulk's AC and HP.

Astrec nods.
"You."
"So you can show some emotion. The world's second best inventor finally reveals his true feelings."

Astrec raises the Godarm, and summons a gigantic wall of Elemental Water, superheating it with a thought, then fires it forward at the Prince to melt and distract him as Astrec spins. He leaps at his Descended foe and summons a cyan firestorm around himself, summoning their text color and uhh their soul.
"No more dark gods. No more descended. You, me. Let's go."
The flame solidifies into a set of power armor around Astrec, a mask popping down on his face. Astrec summons a sword in his hand, transforming raw Celestial Marble into a flawless blade, sharpening the edge to a absurd amount, and swinging it at the Prince, firing a lance of flame that covers Astrec coming out swinging. He brings the sword down on the Prince with the force of the Godarm and his Judgement, crumbling the ground around them into goldenrod flames. He unleashes a variety of attacks on his foe. Panels on the armor spit out missiles, a flamethrower on one shoulder and a grenade launcher on the next fire a twin burst, rocket shoes propel him to one side, trying to avoid giving the Prince much room to escape.
He finishes off by throwing the blade forward, then punching with the Godarm, firing out a burst of power from the arm that blows apart the mountaintop.

Round 87

[CGOC 3] I then arrive at the facility and start healing up the Biosuit back into reasonably high durability ranges.
The Soul Gem fizzles, failing to replicate Adam Mason, Undisputed King of Earth in any way, shape or form. Before you know it, he's already here.

"I'm quite aware of everything that's happened. I don't care whether you've been stolen from. War be damned, I have a reputation to defend. It does not include allowing other Descended to invade, come to my world in cloaked ships, pass through my borders with no regard to my rules. On this planet, my word is law. Mens rea does not protect you from the consequences of your actions. The actions taken by those in this war mean I need to remind everyone of my power. That requires someone to make an example of. I prefer Astrec, but another would do just well in his place. I understand he's trying to become 'a better person'. He made that resolution on my land. Unless he wishes to be a liar and make another person suffer for his decisions, that makes it all the more important he return to face the consequences of his choices."

An electric field crackles around Adam's throne. Your sudden Alchemization of Space Energy to send the CGOC and Void VIII+I off take him off guard, but he catches you in a time-stop as you try to take off the Biosuit. He watches as you use Space Energy to send the Void VIII+I and CGOC off, but before you can do anything else, phantasmal gears spin around your body, locking you in place. Spaced-Out Headband expended.

"No more tricks."

Your fire-storm fails to generate any Elementals, but does force the Third Praetor to drop you. As you pull at his soul, his armour bulges and tightens, keeping it attached to his body.
...It's red?

Standing his ground, the Prince weaves a defensive curtain with a shimmering pair of long curved blades, materialized from somewhere. As the dust settles from your final blow, the Prince barrels towards you, his armour peeling apart, yet still intact. 13 Damage to the Third Praetor. Armour lowered to 6 AC.

The Aperture on Chronias opens and flashes. Focused sorcery rips through the Third Praetorian's magical defenses. Sol Messiah Passive disabled!

It doesn't stop his charge at all, the nanites still swirling around him forming a wave, sweeping Astrec up. As they're tossed and thrown about in a tube of liquid metal, the Prince turns around on his fake board to talk to them.
"I see you have a lot of charge. You just don't get it, do you?" he sighs. "All this talk about me hiding behind this army, trying to draw me out. Do you really want to fight me one-on-one?" For just a moment, he pulls up his mask to reveal a grin. "Hah. Fat Chance. Wars aren't won by contests between champions. Groups are strong because they work together. Coming here to try fight me by yourself? You've overextended. Truth be told, I'm already losing this fight. Remember what I said earlier? It's only a matter of time before I'm stopped. Maybe you're doing this because want to prove your power to other people. Here's a newsflash:" The Third Praetor jumps off the wave, just as it goes off the Seventh Layer. "I won't let you do this on me."

With Astrec dealt with for the time being, he spins around and sends both of his swords whirling through the air towards Boccob. As the God of Magic sidesteps them both, only for them to reverse course to impale him and his familiar from behind. Boccob loses another Familiar. 32 Damage to Boccob himself. Pulling his swords from their backs, the Third Praetor turns Boccob, placing his foot on their chest. "Not familiar with boomerangs? I've been waiting a long time for this." The God of Magic flashes a thin smile. "You'll have to wait a bit longer. First, let go of me." A sudden wave of force knocks off the Praetorian for 18 damage, but deals 12 backlash damage to himself as well. The two of them get back onto their feet. Heavily damaged, the Iron Prince's mask falls off.

...You're not Nikolai.

"Oh. Oh. So that's why Auma's new body looked familiar..."
The Starmaker seethes with rage. "Familiar? You made me watch as my body killed my friends. For 60 years, I have done nothing but watch as the Demon possessing me turned the world I built into a living hell."
"We offered you a choice, Ron-"
"Rob!"
Boccob sighs. "You shouldn't have left The Pantheon."
"Scorch The Pantheon." The Starmaker turns to face... me. "Ugh, this'll is getting nowhere. Adrasta, I know it's you. Do you remember me? Do you trust me?"
...I do.
The Starmaker points at Boccob. "This... man here. He was one of the people who summoned the Demon that killed your father. The Prince and I intend to open a Gate to Olympus and kill Tinia. Will you stop us?"
I... I don't know. If you're not The Prince, who are they?
"...As God of Truth and Honesty," he looks away. "I think it's best you never know."

A look of dawning comprehension crosses Boccob's face. "Oh-ho. Oh no. It's-"
"Stop." Attack Ships impale both Horn Devils and a Barb Devil with shafts of Hard Light. Remotely breached, the Clockwork Armillary defects, enveloping Boccob with a burst of Elemental Magic, removing his buffs. Before he react, it's electrocuted both of his remaining Barbed Devils.
"I'm in danger."
The Starmaker glares holes into him. "Not. Another. Word."

...

"...Tell you what. If you're still angry at us, you're perfectly welcome to take out your anger on the Lucrehulk. I hope that's okay."

The Epic Wizards and their Arcane Consort throw hands at the Lucrehulk, dealing 320k, as well as temporarily disabling it's shields. The Eight Fire Elementals of Layer Six-Now-Five deal 16 damage to Hekatonkhiere III, leaving it critically wounded. Before dissipating, the Dust-Angel knocks up the Carrier and it's fighters, dealing 25k damage to them both.

"Aegaeon? This is my last order. Please, crush my clone. Auma, it's nothing personal. I've been creeped out this entire time, and now you know why."

Lifting up a boulder, the Hekatonkhiere pulverizes Auma. The destruction of the clone-body causes the Crown of Stars to prematurely detonate simultaneously, blowing the Hundred-Handed One apart as well.

"For the record, we never intended any of the Hundred-Handed Ones to live past this battle. The things they said..." he shivers. "They're nothing like what Greek Mythology says they were like. Completely Chaotic Evil."

The Carrier doesn't attack, simply dropping more fighters than usual this round. Without an Auma to bodyguard, the Iron Golem picks up Auma's Pendant to become Auma instead, acquring their Spellcasting abilities. The Cloud Giant General lowers the Lucrehulk's Dodge, before throwing a Critical Boulder at it for 55k.

The rest of the Descendants shift up to Layer Six-now-Five. Meanwhile, on Layer Five-now-Two, the remaining Fire Elemental joins with the flames, raising their intensity even higher. The Lucrehulk Carrier takes 10k damage and summons four more Attack Ships, which it orders to Bodyguard itself. Unshielded from the temperature, all of the Attack Ships take 30k from the Fire. All four of these Attack Ships are then promptly destroyed, another taking another 20k damage from the Seventh Talos attacking it.

In the Elemental Plane of Fire, Iron Constructs bask in it's heat to restore Hp. As the Fourth Talos flares its engines for greater healing, a Fire Elemental pops out. A very specific Fire Elemental.

"Well well well, what do we have here. I come in peace."

At Tu'ranath, JOE's Drones and the Githyanki stand around awkwardly. The Master Gish clears their throat. "Sir, with all due respect? I think, I think maybe you can leave now?"

The Fourth Praetor goes back to playing Baseball. Is anyone interested in watching him at the moment?

In Near-Earth Orbit, Adam checks his watch. "Astrec has... one Dopp to come."

Meanwhile in Space, nothing happens. Space is big, okay? Huge.

The Planes rearrange themselves again. The Starmaker throws his hands to either side of his body. "...I guess you're also welcome to hit me in the face as well? I can't stop you anyways. Fire away?" He braces for any oncoming attacks.

...I don't know. What are your calls?

S.H. decides to climb Mount Celestia and punch the Lucrehulk carrier. With his mechanical arm, obviously, he's no fool.

[0x] DefJO has successfully wiggled/side-shuffled/ledgegrabbed their way into reality. There are a few ways this might have played out. DefJO may have brought over the mind, but no power. DefJO may have brought over their power, and their mind. I suppose technically power might have come through Without mind, but then that's not really DefJO.
In the first scenario, DefJO has arrived into the world, but is low on strength; they need a source of power in This world in order to, uh. not die, and not be weak. So, they would search for another JOE.
Luckily, finding a Descended acting as Playwrite is easy, if you know what to look for. You must blur your vision, see the nonshape; the fights which Don't happen, or where neither side is harmed.
DefJO is not a playwrite. He does not know what to look for.
Still, it's not like DefJO doesn't have a chance. Since they're looking for a JOE, the obvious route is 'look up JOE on google - void edition' or the equivalent. Which would lead their bodyless mind either to stories of the R/DtG!JOE Descended body, or to the Channel Five News, which, despite the protestations of DtG!JOE, makes very little sense if it isn't at least part of the JOEness descended. And from there, even if they don't know how to see the nonshape, It's a lot easier to see a thread attached to a single person you're investigating then to find the threads directly. DefJO crab-walks over to the JOEness Descended and, well, says hello. and they oblige.

But perhaps they come in with power and mind! Then DefJO's first act is probably to make 3 attack shields around themself because they don't know how dangerous this place is. Though, considering the lack of DefTG-type Godmodders, the permanent death of a Player may very well be impossible.

If something else more specific happens, well, it's not general enough for me to guess what they'd do.

[0x] In light of various discord occurences, there might be parts of this post that don't make sense? I don't know, I'm not going to look through it for implications.
[1x] I use the Light special to heal up the Biosuit, because it needs healing.
[1x] having had a conversation with Split, I do a very small nod/first 5% of a bow at them- a sort of polite acknowledgement which to my knowledge doesn't indicate actual Fealty or anything- And depart.
[1x] I heal the Biosuit some more.
[25 CP] 25 CP is spent on the fuzzball project -since if My CP remains full, most of the Regen will be wasted.

[Void VIII+I] Moves from where it ended up to somewhere else to make tracking even more difficult. Once Create is charged, make a new repair drone.
[CGOC - 1 & 2] I create some construction microbots and feed them into chained cloaking portals leading to the facility, where they will continue work on the Voidship. Although... Perhaps MEKANEs heart can be of use here? eh, later.
[CGOC 3] Even More evasive maneuvers! There are never enough evasive maneuvers!

The Nedben tires of the incessant wimeys of time. Nope nope nope nope nope.

He preemptively establishes an alternate causality by means of forcible event continuity arrangement and keeps it in reserve. Enough of this crass immediate-time manipulation, we'll need a more nuanced assault on present history to avoid simply being killstopped. Volumes of possibility or something.

((Yes, really, I ran out of good ideas so I invented Time 2 because good god we're sitting ducks against time users. Nope nope nope countermeasures time.))

—Elemental Plane of Fire—

Gloria Phi-Nerà looks through her Talos' eyes at the strange pseudo-elemental newcomer. This one seems intelligent, sentient. Alien. She raised her right arm, and its internal canon glows with a growing light of periwinkle magics.
G: Okay, what the fuck are you?
The Iron Gear's sharpened hands begin to raise, while the iron golem stands at the ready
P2: Gladiator. Commander. Descended.
G: Don't be vague and dickish about it, what the fuck are you and what are you doing here? This is our territory, and if you don't have a good reason to be here then you better have a good way to not be here real fuckin quick.
*Blue flames swirl around the axe, spreading over the orange-red flames of the rest of the plane. Setting fire on fire."
P2: Very well. Has your father taught you of The Void?
G: My father... Gloria hesitates, her arm lowering slightly.
G: No. He hasn't.
*Slowly sweeping a hand through the... air?, the Second Praetor parts the flames, revealing a dark-purple backdrop illuminated by golden points of light. The Point closes to the flames can be clearly made out as a golden rectangle, one with a sphere of wooden latticework intertwining around it.
P2: This is The Void. An infinite sea of windows, each leading to another world. In many ways, it's similar to your Planes, and yet larger still.
P2: In the Void, there are certain people who find themselves with great power. Power to alter their world. Power to alter what's beyond. Your father is one of those people. The people he works alongside are also Descended. I too, am Descended.
G: Whoopity-doo. The god-killing wizard-king can, gasp, alter reality. Tell me something I don't know you Wyld fuck.
Despite her words, Gloria's combative luster is diminished as her gaze settles on the image of the vast metaplanar network that is this 'Void'. She loses herself in wonder for an instant, before turning back to the Azer-looking dude with renewed vigor.
G: So you're some pyromancer with these invaders, then? Your tresspassing upon our glorious empire will not be forgiven, for the insult of your audacity as much as the harm your villainy has caused. Anything to say for yourself, asshole?
Gloria unclenches her left fist. The right arm is still pointed at P2 directly.
Ironically Behind the visor, the Second Praetor's eyes become cold.
P2: Choose next your words wisely.
P2: Are you willing to die for this cause?
G: Am I willing to make the ultimate, most honerable sacrifice for our Emperor in order to repel savage raiders from the lands of my people and our children? The better question would be what cause are you here to die for?
P2: Unfortunately, I am immortal. Believe me, I have tried.
P2: That being said, I seek a world without bondage.
P2: A world with no masters and slaves.
P2: A world where you can live.
G: Then why do you stand against the godslayer, the liberator, the glorious king of thorns, the diviner divine, who has granted greatet peace and prosperity to these planes than any other in its history?
G: Why do you fight my father when, with him, you would have your peace, your freedom, more quickly and efficiently and beautifully than you could imagine?!
The Second Praetor puts his hands up in the air.
P2: Now, I wasn't the one in charge of this invasion. You'll have to speak with-
??: ...Me.
Telepathy. The voice is neutral, with no hue to be ascertained.
P3: Hello, Gloria. Your father's a megalomaniac with no scruples whatsoever. Long story short, I took it upon myself to wrest control from him before he went any further. Unfortunately, I've failed. He has been shrewd, and through his actions, he stands to gain from my decisions.
Gloria thinks of a lemon, a willow tree and a spiralling tower of white stone turning to ash, waiting a few seconds for a possible reaction from the telepath
...Nothing.
P3: Sorry I can't meet you in person. I still have business to attend to. At this time, this is all I have available.
G: Listen you red bastard, the Emperor is a glorious being whose radiance is a blessing to all people beneath his wings. And you dare intrude on his peace? Kill civilians and volunteers alike? You're a monster, and I'm glad that my f-father is stopping you.
G: You call him a megalomaniac and yet admit that your goal here is to take control from him. You're a hypocrite and a killer, and I'll kill you myself if the Emperor doesn't first.
P3: My forces haven't needed to kill anyone yet. On the other hand, he's taken advantage of the apparent threat I pose to enthrall a Mother Brain, and send her armies against the Dwarves.
G: Fuck the dwarf clans, they stood against our peace and attacked us constantly, just like you do now.
P3: "Constantly?" My Army has only come once, and has only attacked Celestia.
G: Syntax, shut the hell up.
G: What about the ground invasions?
P3: Killing is easy. Fire and forget. Once someone's dead, they don't come back. If you leave your enemies alive, they only return stronger. Killing is an expression of strength, but it only makes you weaker. It's an expression of uncertainty as to whether you can defeat someone again. A last resort, done to prevent a return when you simply have no other viable option. It's a sign of desperation, of necessity. An option I have the privilege of not taking.
G: I. Don't. Care. You. Barbarian. Swine.
G: Call off your god damned attack and leave.
P3: I do intend to. My plans here have failed.
P2: Then why are you sending over more ships?
P2 points to the horizon of his window into The Void. Sure enough, a fleet approaches.
P3: ...Those aren't mine.
P3: HMAS Battleships Peace, Freedom, Justice, and Security sighted.
P3: Adrasta kill me.

—Nerà, Quirrun, Auma, Boccob, Starmaker—

Nerà addresses the captain of Talos 7. "Your sister is safe. Safer than she deserves to be, given her failure here, but her Talos was too valuable to lose." The captain (Quirrun) is interrupted from expressing his anger at his father's dismissal of Gloria's feats on this battlefield by Nerà teleporting the two of them up to the Starmaker.
"Well, Boccob. Somehow I expected more from the Lord of Hell. At least a few more fiends. I've no clue how you managed to last as long as you did. Besides being a shut-in virgin, obviously. Regardless, the tables have certainly turned now."
Nerà faces the Starmaker.
"'Ron-' was it? Whatever quarrel you have with our Lord of Hell, it is of no concern to me. He holds no place in my heart, believe me. My only concern here is protecting that and those which are mine, and if you cease fire upon my forces we will grant you the same in turn. However, your 'Iron Prince's is another matter. He invades my land, brings war into my reign of peace and now threatens the true heart of power, as well as killing many of my men. From what I have been told, his intentions on this plane will result in even more suffering for my people, and in the worst case scenario I will be forced to raze this holy mountain in defense of my nation. I do not wish it to come to this any more than your Praetorian friend does, however, and so I ask of you that you allow me to parlay with him. Perhaps the bloodshed can end here, if your master is as reasonable as he often presents himself to be. The alternative, of course, is his destruction and- if you stand in my way- yours as well."

"No, no, no. You don't get to just- just throw this away. You- I'm not going to let you do this to me. I have power. The world loves us! You're the bad guys, we're the good guys, and don't get to just throw me- this away. I've destroyed your ship, I've destroyed your army, and I don't care about your mask. I'm the hero her- we're the heroes here. Nera, Karpinsky, ME. And you don't get to just-"
Astrec smashes the Godarm into the mountainside, the cyan flames around him dim as he punches the mountain it, futility firing stone pillars at the Starmaker.
"I changed! I have power! I'm the hero here! The alchemist! The. The creator. You.."
"You're not even the Iron Prince! And you dare to.."

Astrec slashes the sword through the air, firing strikes of wind, light, whatever they muster in their rage at the mountain. Astrec focuses, and calls them Swissarmyknifemodder back to him, razor sharp blades erupting from the arm he calls it to. From it he forces tendrils of golden light and reality warped wire, flinging Astrec up the mountain. He levels his arm up, lashing out with the tendrils to try and pull the Starmaker down to him. They spin their blade, mixing in the cyan light of it with pure white and golden energy, and lunge at the prince.
"There's nothing I need to prove. Nothing! You're the masked one here! The- The high and mighty. I'm a Descended! Descended from heaven! And you're.."
Their new set of power armor grows and twists forcefully around them, curling around the Godarm and Hand of Judgement, a helmet forming around Astrec's head.
Entity Orders:
Clockwork Armillary: Attack the Starmaker. Possible morale check from seeing uh, Boccob get nuked.

"Hm, apparently Piono has either gone to a place called Moog station, or he has made a significant effort to make a large beacon of earth and water energy at that location as a decoy. If these accomodations satisfy you, I will inform you as soon as I gain the others' agreement to join the meeting, and it can begin. Unless you have any further questions, I'll be off to see whether Piono is making a decoy, or if he genuinely is there, as I get the sense it would be close to impossible to get those Centurions to attend before the campaign over Nerá's world has concluded, so it is likely more productive to find out where Piono is. If you have any forces available who could aid me in this, I'd appreciate the backup, given how he seems to be hunting elemental weapons, and you have at least two wielders amongst your ranks, and thus a vested interest in him not accomplishing the full collection."
Unless Alethea objects, Smirk then opens a quick portal, and jumps through to roughly where his drone is, applying the same defenses from visibility he had the drone, and looks around the location.

"Very well. Leave now in peace, for we have a system to save and no time to waste on the likes of you."

[3] I subtly activate the Ebony Staff's Soul Absorption effect...

all my entities on Celestia fly, leap or otherwise move towards Chronias... but then in an instant and without warning attack Boccob and Starmaker. Boccob goes down to Talos 7's canon attack, blasting into wisps of divine essence that the Ebony Staff absorbs. The combined might of wizards, Giants, elementals, golem and Chronias itself should be enough to rend "Rob" to a soul and chunks of salsa. I absorb his soul into the scythe as well.
