Okay, if the Sleuth is on Helix form when I act, I move to J7, I can't take hits from ANYTHING so I've got to stay out of the range of fires of pulchritude. I then cast augment on the slingshot. (sorry insert, I know you got shafted, but your thing is crowd control, and right now everybody's busy firing off as much DpS on the Sleuth as we can. The issue is, this fight is going to end too fast to justify using a water of life at this point. Sort of a shame nobody revived you during the break period when we actually had time, or things would be going a little bit better)
If he is in Dome form when I act, I fire the skeleton that engie loaded into the slingshot (since firing has to be a separate action from loading engie) at the sleuth for however much damage it's worth, and THEN move to J7.

Hooray for the slingshot!
... I really hope we get to keep it after this fight. I understand if we don't get to, we've already gotten more than our money's worth out of it.

Also, ire, you do realize you can actually go back and get the maps you forgot to record, right?
You can go to "see revision history" in the "file" tab, and jump back to where that map was, record it somewhere else, jump back to the current state of affairs using revision history again, and then plug in the missing map to the archives.

Anyways, I'm not sure how I feel about having dropped the Sleuth into Phase II in one round. It feels awesome, but at the same time kind of shameful.

I can say this however, I am proud of having made him waste one of his moves on somebody who could've just as easily been killed with an AoE.

So I have a question, is stuff we fire out of the slingshot recoverable? That'd be nice if we can reuse ammo once we finish the fight, but that would also be REALLY broken considering what we did with the Cabin, so I think the following items need to be removed from the inventory:
The Cabin.
The Metal Cage
The Skeleton.

Anyways guys, my only recommendation at this point is to not die.

Anyways, even though the bossfights haven't lasted a long period of time, they've both been REALLY intense and just all around awesome.
It would be interesting if we had a boss monster who actually lasted a significant amount of time, although I'm not sure how you'd be able to keep such a boss fight interesting, but who knows?

All I can say is that I'm REALLY looking forwards to area 2.

I have died more times than anyone else. And for some reason I find it funny. I think I need help.

EDIT: Yeah ire. This game takes a lot less effort to do, and the plot isn't really important here. It's easier for me to be devious about things, and that's where I get a lot of my kicks.

If the Sleuth was already murdered, then I just use a Life Bottle on Insert. So that he doesn't have to suffer being a dead man any longer.

In the event that enemies are alive, I walk over and shoot them. If enemies are not alive, I shoot the dead body of the Sleuth, just to make sure, then loot his body.

Okay. Toast respects his respec, but respecs anyway. Ice Pillar swapped for (Suggestion) Shifting Sands (swap the positions of two things (players or otherwise) within x distance of each other, x range) (x is up to you). Just would like the opinion on Shifting Sands before finishing the Respec (maybe it's not worth taking/out INT depending on the scaling. Then I could be some kind of Utility-Sniper).

If possible, since it seems important, Toast goes and gets the two documents from the cabin computer. This game has made it clear that the Sleuth must wait his turn to attack, so Toast takes her time to find them.

...A voice is heard from the entrance of the cave. Whatever's talking, it's obscured by purple flames which have suddenly appeared.

The voice steps out of the flames, revealing a somewhat frail purple figure. While he doesn't really look intimidating, what he says fills you all with a certain feeling...

As the light fades, you notice that Zetta has transformed into a gargantuan stone hydra, adorned with purple flames riding down his back and necks. His three heads all glare around the room, one of them locking it's purple shining eyes with Wilson. Suddenly, red streaks appear along Zetta's body, and a massive rocket-launcher type weapon appears; some of you recognize it as a Table Leg, an experimental table-based rocket launcher. As it turns out, that feeling you felt earlier was fear.

What I once was, you will become...You will be nothing more than a forgotten thought...And I will enjoy every second of it!

As it seems, the only way out of this room is through the barrier. Maybe if you wail on the Sleuth enough, you'll destroy the barrier? That's easier said than done though; Zetta has flung the Sleuth to one of the far walls of the room. Be VERY careful as to how you deal with this; Zetta CAN and WILL INSTANTLY KILL YOU.

Don't die. Then again, that may be hard. As you kill his heads, they WILL come back stronger; this is tenfold if Zetta actually KILLS someone.
