Move to H5, attack that Annoying thing again, and move back to I5.

Gah. I can't load the Google Doc. Might be problematic considering we have a boss fight coming up. Just have both Wilson and Willow guard again.

@ContinuingUndertaleArguement: Goat Mom Wilson? Wha- actually, never mind.

But why is me not playing the game considered unfortunate? It's strictly bad that I'm not playing the game? I don't actually play many games. There are tons of supposed "must play" games that I haven't touched. There are only 2 games that I've well and truly loved (that don't rely on nostalgia anyway). The first one is kinda obvious, Minecraft. The second one is... no, not Hearthstone, but a game called Ori and the Blind Forest, which, kinda ironically, is nearly the opposite of Minecraft (beautiful aesthetic, more or less linear plot, heavy reliance on reaction and precision). That game is almost single handedly responsible for all of my DTG0 RP (if you Google "Ori and the Blind Forest", you'll see that Gail is Ori. Visually, anyway). Ori and the Blind Forest got so little media coverage when it came out. I can only remember one video of it, Jesse's. All this is to set up to say that I probably have a specific self serving bias that makes me automatically have a negative impression of any popular game I don't personally like because it makes me think of Ori and the Blind Forest and that it's all just unfair, which by the definition of viral, it kinda is. Then maybe I also feel some preconscious need to have an unpopular opinion just to be different. Or I think that Undertale has unfairly stolen attention from other games I like, even though logically that's stupid.

...

Taking psychology is fun when it lets you psycho-analyze yourself. Although, that's not quite the correct usage of the word. Actual psychoanalysis is mostly pseudoscience with how dreams are some kind of psychic outlet for ideas your conscious mind finds unacceptable. Freud had a real positive outlook on humanity... Occasional feelings of aggression? Probably a subconscious primal desire to assert territorial dominance. Go out of your way to impress people? Must be because your ID feels that you're evolutionary inferior and so has a deep rooted fear of rejection. Don't want to buy Undertale? Obviously it's because your father never hugged you enough as a child and so you feel rejected by society and subconsciously need to reject the world back to fight off the feelings of being helpless and useless. Must be it. Even though my dad did hug me, it must not have been enough.

...

Also, I happened to see the price of Steam Undertale trading cards, and I was shocked. I've never seen cards that expensive. I could sell all them and get a dollar fifty refunded. Granted, I don't pay much attention to the cards market. A lot of people seem point to games like Undertale and Minecraft, saying that they're proof that any Indie developer can make it big time if they put the work into their game. But it actually disheartens me because it all just seems so random. For every Minecraft and Undertale, there are tons of great games that... just have a brief spark then are mostly forgotten or never really shine at all. I'd like to play some of those games, but it's of course a Catch-22. They need people to play them to show if they're good or not, but people need to see if they're good before they play them.

=TURN FOURTY=
As the Annoying Memory is left alone on the battlefield, it laughs; nobody dropped it! It keeps laughing and laughing, when suddenly, a red memory orb flies in, promptly turns the Annoying Memory into shards on the floor, and floats above the broken corpse. The orb hovers there for a bit, and then waves of energy begin bursting from it, everyone feeling the memory's sheer power! A body begins to grow out of it; a humanoid figure wearing a trenchcoat and a sick hat. It's very clearly, the Sleuth. He stands there, staring at everyone. And then he begins to break down.

ag: GIVE IT BACK GIVE IT BACK GIVE IT BACK GIVE IT BACK GIVE IT BACK GIVE IT BACK

Red cracks emerge on his form, and he becomes shrouded in darkness. Two lights manifest and begin circling him at high speeds, each one whipping out beams of energy in all directions. His entire form explodes, sending a strange black matter everywhere. Two "gods" appear to be floating beside him; you recognize them as the deities Helix and Dome, gods of the Twitch Plays Pokemon pantheon. The Sleuth is now adorned in fossil-like armor, resembling the magnificent shell of Lord Helix. Wings of water surge out of his back, both of them towering over his body. He then pulls out a long, shell-shaped hammer, layered with spikes of all sizes. The Sleuth laughs, then takes an oddly serious expression.

ag: "I want it back." goes the Sleuth, in an entirely nonchalant manner.
ag: "M y s o u l ." The Sleuth goes deathly silent.

A Chaos Drone enters the room, and begins blasting out Chaos's voice in a far-too-loud manner.

cc: hm, didn'(t) (t)hink he'd a©(t)ually (t)ry and kill you all.
cc: given his "rela(t)ion" wi(t)h some of you.
cc: bu(t), (t)his isn'(t) (t)he sleu(t)h some of you may know.
cc: or is i(t)?

=TACTICS=
The Sleuth is a deadly foe: he's backed up by two Illusions of Deities, and he has TWO forms to switch from, at will! Thankfully, you can control his switching; every single last hit on the Sleuth will switch his form! This includes ticks from Poison or Burn! Multiple hits in one turn will switch his forms the according amount of times; hitting him once will swap him to Dome Form, another time in the same turn will swap him to Helix Form, and so on. Keeping him in a form that's safe for your situation is a good idea; otherwise, his Praise Deity attacks will wreak havoc on your team!

His two minions also buff his attacks; take them down! They'll also tank otherwise lethal hits against the Sleuth, so take care if you're face-rushing the Sleuth. Also, some of you got buffs (or debuffs) depending on what you did in the Recollection Woods! Piono was dropped to 1 HP, Redstone and Engie were cursed, IGU and Tazz were Blessed, and Wilson and Willow both got a huge overheal bonus!

=ENDLESS DESERT=
Tazz SPARES the Tape Wraith! This causes it to leave, and lets you take Chaos Log 4, which one of you promptly take.

I blast the Dome Illusion straight in the gabber, move to I9 via the power of retreating, and wait for the perfect opportunity to load the Cabin (OLOLOLOL) into the Slingshot.

Toast stares down the sleuth (yeah, I just used lowercase) and shoots the Helix Illusion. Then moves H4.

EDIT: Forgot to edit again.

Ugh... so my options for looking at the Google Doc is either use my PC, which lets me only see the first page. Or I can use my mobile device, which doesn't let me see any text.

Wonderful.

@Undertale: Welp, I hope you're still ready to endure the referencing here just like FNaF and Homestuck before it. I'd also consider watching an LP at least if you're not gonna play it (and do mind the flowers, they're quite rude. And scary.)

Holy jeez we've got a situation. I move to I4 and send a Shuriken over to the Dome Illusion to soften it up a good deal.

PRO STRATS: OK, DarkSide, remember that part where you send yourself at a guy for MASS DAMAGE with the Slingshot and the Augmented Crit? Pls do that now, but aim for the Helix Illusion instead. Try to land between the Sleuth and the Helix Illusion if you can, but really we need that thing close to dead, and it's not a boss so you can finish it after you smash yourself into it. The sooner the Illusions go away the better. Everyone else, for our first phase we'll just wail on the Dome Illusion and kill that thing before it goes out of hand. THEN we wail on the Sleuth.

Helix Form is currently active, so as for positioning, EVERYONE GET IN CLOSE. Otherwise we're gonna have a bad time. (RE: 10 damage to everything 5 tiles away and beyond. Too far back and you get wrecked.) Also, no-one revive Generic until we give him the ability to switch to Dome form and change strategy accordingly: Otherwise, we may have to deal with his no 'friendly fire' AoE damage to all of our faces. Same with ANYONE else with AoE. At least he changes forms at the END of the turn so we know what to deal with right now.

@Cabin Launching: Engie, NOT yet. DarkSide first so we can actually obliterate the Helix Illusion, THEN we see how much damage we can do with an Augmented Cabin. (Augmented...At this rate we're gonna become Adam Jensen.)

I CAN READ AGAIN!

Alright, because my characters suddenly gained an effective 56 HP, seems like they should try to tank some of the damage before their overheal HP disintegrates. So get as close as possible, but not adjacent. (Toast, I wouldn't stand there. You'll take a water pulse unnecessarily.)

Who are you? I assume someone else who wants to kill us?

Willow moves to G7 and attacks the Dome Illusion. Wilson goes to G3 and fires two normal foxfire blasts downward at the Dome Illusion.

I'd be honestly surprised if shooting the cabin at the Sleuth didn't OHKO him outright.

Oh. Well. He doesn't look friendly.

Move: J5
Attack: Mister Sleuth over there. Add some Red Solution into the mix for further damage.

I load myself onto the slingshot for firing. I also shape-shift into a Dragon Dwarf. Take aim at the Helix Illusion!

MY PLAN WHILE IN FLIGHT: I would start spinning myself and my axe (preferably frontflipping rapidly with my axe's blade initially in front of me with the blade pointing down) whilst breathing fire. I would attempt to land at (E4) after.

>The Sleuth switches forms EVERY TIME YOU HIT HIM. IN A TURN.

So hitting him once this turn would make him Dome Form...
Twice, Helix Form...
Thrice, Dome Form...
...what comes after thrice?

Limiting hits is a valid tactic to prevent having a bad time. Do note that hits also include Burn ticks and Poison ticks. Thankfully, those will only come into account AFTER he attacks.

I watched an LP of Ori and the Blind Forest (yes, I'm that kind of person), really wondered why it didn't have more coverage too...

@tazz, we can load 3 things in at once. I say we load in darkside, the cabin, and the desk.
Not the stone grave. I think I stole chairitomb.
Which may very well turn out to have been a good idea later on, considering it was a 40 post charge in DTG2. Just need to figure out how to activate it on our side...

I cast Augment on the slingshot, unless no one else fires it this round, in which case I fire it.

Okay, somebody needs to fire the slingshot at the sleuth, we have an auto-hit from three MASSIVE objects, as well as a big damage boost. If we don't get this attack off, this bossfight is going to SUCK. I'm aware that this is the only round I get, I'm not going to bother healing myself, since I know for a fact that my max health is currently 1, so guys, don't bother reviving me.
If someone else has already fired it, load in the wooden desk.

That goes to everyone! This is probably our only chance to get off a massive attack like this.
I move to I6 in the vain hope that he somehow misses me. and the Dome Illusion doesn't murder my face either.

EDIT: tazz, we have to kill all 3 of them anyways, and if we hit the sleuth, that bypasses the 1 AC that the two illusions have, if we land this single massive blow, we might reduce the sleuth's health enough that people not in range of the two illusions can attack him to deal damage to the illusions.

EDITx2: If possible to fire different ammo in the slingshot at different targets, cabin goes at sleuth, darkside goes into the target he selected.
