Just curious, how often do people go secret searching in the endless desert?

Every time we see an update. I'm going through the desert right now actually.
21/22 comments found, by anonymous. Was it ire, or somebody else? (probably someone else. Ire uses all the space, not just the top row, and at least has the courtesy to make his findable) I missed one. Its probably in a completely random part of the desert. The first four are right by the Bill Cipher in the top right corner of the desert, all but the last are along the top, the last one is down in the corner where Ire makes fun of you for looking in such an obvious place. Additionally, he, in other tabs, point out a few other things, such as the fact that in the dungeon there is one fewer exit tile than there is characters, that the chair engie just looted is most likely a powerful artifact, and a stupid comment on the map ire forgot to record. The numbers are significant each one has meaning But where do they lead? Try to match them up 897 152 693 The Homestuckian Number 131 593 983 927 680 782 675 618 925 148 263 133 This space not intentionally left blank Originally posted on 2015-10-23 03:08:00 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

Yes, as you can see by me going through and grabbing all but one of the ones left in.

Oh what? I'll take a look.
...that's a lot of comments. I won't touch any of them; wouldn't want to ruin someone's ARG. LET'S TAKE NOTES AND BUILD SOMETHING SUPER CRYPTIC LATER. Originally posted on 2015-10-23 03:20:00 -------------------- |

Hey, tazz, you seem to be better at secret finding than me, think you can find the comment I missed?
EDIT: COME ON IRE!!! Ire added another comment to the endless desert, which I don't care to look for, and two to the map archives, both of which were responses to the previous comments. Originally posted on 2015-10-23 03:30:00 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

I think that's Pit, personally, as Ire can't leave comments before and Pit's been doing that beforehand as well.
And if not, someone is gaming us like a completely magnificent [OHIFONLY] And this on top of the thoughtsUnkonwn ARG on Pesterchum as well. I'm betting they're unrelated, but if they're not, we have the single most epic DTG ARG that anyone's ever done, topping even the Probect Pinary one. As for the fight, I move to F7 and THEN apply heals to myself by chugging a potion. Seriously, I needed that HP. Originally posted on 2015-10-23 04:25:00 |

=TURN TWENTY-SIX=
Engie steals the fancy office chair, and obtains the The Web. It appears to be missing the wheels on the bottom, though. Until you find those, it'll be missing some of it's potential power. ...you could really very easily kill someone with that chair. Careful. Engie then attempts to pursue the Memory Orb, but it's not going anywhere. Numbersoup then loots the Skeleton. The whole thing. He also finds a strange metalic object grasped in it's hand. Anti-Glitch Rifle Barrel obtained. Redstone then plays Whirlwind, hitting multiple spiders around him! You also manage to drop a spider with all of the random attacks you've been using. This promptly invokes the rage of no less than SEVEN SPIDERS. S T R I F E ! Anyway, you should probably go and explore the house, look at the memory orb, ect. Maybe go try to find out what those numbers mean. They might be page numbers? I don't know. =ENDLESS DESERT= Piono grants a gift of Spider Webs to the Gold Vein. It's not sure what to do with your gift, but okay. However, given the rules of the game I'm mimicking here, the Gold Vein is forced to attack you! It fires a salvo of Gold Nuggets at Piono, which he avoids with CLUTCH DODGING SKILLS. Do you still want that free attack? I'll let you do it. =BATTLE: INSIDE TREE TURN FIVE= Everyone's taking light fire; Tazz managed to evade the attack directed at him, though. The Tree Guard will be a threat soon, so it might be worth moving accordingly. The Crimson Scale can attack; don't forget or it might prove to be a pain! =BATTLE: THE SPIDER HORDE TURN ZERO= Redstone feels like he's gonna have a bad time. That's what happens when you keep attacking spiders, especially when I tell you that you've pissed them of. Originally posted on 2015-10-23 05:35:00 -------------------- |

Oh, that's nice. The Chaos Butterfly's units also attack Chaos's units. Might be helpful to keep in mind.
Also, as for how we never used an ability yet? THAT'S ABOUT TO CHANGE! I step to (G4), and, if possible, I use Telekinesis to move the Scale Beast to (D4), putting it into position for a splash attack from someone. (And thanks for correcting that mistake. I must've had a brain shutdown moment.) Originally posted on 2015-10-23 23:16:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

(I may be good at hiding secrets [First one to hide comments], but i'm not THAT good. I have a google account anyway.)
You watch as Redstone decides to anger some spiders. SEVEN of them. You feel like he's going to have a bad time without anyone's help. Wow. That's...very bad for him. He looks very well onto the way to dying now, so we'd better save him before he dies. Speaking of which, has anyone heard from our Priest yet? "Pit" moves into The Web (and thus, the fight), spawning at G9. If possible, he attacks the Spider directly above his spawn. Seriously, he might be stupid, but we need him. Hey, ire! I dodged down into the fortified spot so that I would take less damage! I mean, not like it matters at this point. Additionally, you forgot to add the extra damage the crimson scale should have taken from the origin gunpowder's effect on AoE, so it should actually be at 4 health, which DOES matter.
Thanks darkside, I'll take it from here I move to the fortified spot and RELOAD! tazz, you mind taking a shot at the scale monster? Next round, both of you wail on the scale monster. I'll specify in my post that my attack is happening first so the explosion won't hit you, and that way we should be good for some pre-awakening murderification, and all that'll be left is to curbstomp the tree guard and other sap mortar. Meanwhile, in the endless desert, I ask the gold vein if it there's anything else it needs. And apply more CLUTCH DODGES to his next attack. If asking is it asking for gold, it's definitely too late for that, so I just spare it. Originally posted on 2015-10-24 00:47:00 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

Redstone, you're on a map now. (Namely, the Angered Spider Horde map.) Combat is back to normal, so go do that.

"...NOW, WHERE COULD THE WHEELS HAVE GONE..."
Oh well. Those come later. First, use Memory Orb to see things, then search the room in hope of finding the wheels of The Web. Originally posted on 2015-10-24 03:06:00 -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. Currently, you follow mine."

Hey, I did another spreadsheet search.
"powersource" (probably redstone) has a message relayed by Bill Cipher: "Return the gold to its rightful place or I will end you." Judging from the message in the endless desert stating that "he will know if you mess with his sleeping place" and the fact that the grave is for the Sleuth... That means that the Sleuth knows you took his cash and is sending redstone death threats. We can keep the cash and decide to just beat the snot out of him, or we can put it back and have a potential to not get the snot beaten out of us by what seems to be an upcoming bonus boss. I personally want to see what the boss fight will be like, especially since redstone seems to be determined to get himself killed either way. Somebody should probably go help him by the way. We have four tomes currently available for purchase: Sunblast, Silence, Chairstorm and Doll Up. All of which honestly look like pretty sweet spells to add to our selection. We also have two new available items: the True Mages Robes (armor) which gives the wearer an extra spell slot, and the thief's dagger which grants 1 gold if the wielder kill something (max of 1 per battle) Anyways, that's the update. My current overall tactical assessment is that people should go help redstone not get murdered horribly. Anyone not inclined to go in and beat the snot out of seven spiders should go full kleptomaniac. The items I can identify that need stealing are, by order of area (excluding the web since we haven't cleared that yet) The Cavern Mouth: the gold vein (no, I don't care if its empty, I'm still going to try and take it unless it gets removed from the map updates.) The Great Tree: The last of the sap orbs. The Creek: Some (or all) of the river (water can be useful in RPGs), the crimson scale fragments, the Matriarch's corpse. Outside the Shack: the vines, the cage that fseftr smashed (more splinters for the splinter god!), the gold vein (see cavern mouth). I was tempted to say the stone altar, but even for me, that's a bit ridiculous. I still might try if we have enough time though. Inside The Shack: Abso-freaking-lutely everything listed but the lightbulb (at least until we're done there, then we take that too. If its listed, its loot) and the trapdoor, which obviously leads to another dungeon, and thus should be a priority last only to heading back to the cavern mouth and confronting the Sleuth/whoever else might be in that cave. Anyways, that's enough for kleptomaniacy 101 for tonight. Originally posted on 2015-10-24 05:41:00 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

Now, personally I really want the Shuriken Stack because it suits my build very nicely (put it into perspective; It's a range less than the Shotgun, but the Shotgun at a range any closer than 1 is terrible, and it scales with both AGI and STR so me grabbing it now gives me an awesome weapon). I'll be looking forward to that.
...In any case, I move to E4. As the Scale Beast was moved to D4 by telekinesis (or somewhere close to it), I take this time to pump the Scale Beast full of lead from my Shotgun (bam!) and then retreat to F3. In any case, I want to buy the Thief's Dagger (if that's possible right now) because my regen aura really isn't helping near as much as I hoped, given my build. I'll buy and Equip the Thief's Dagger right now (If I can), and sell the Aura of Regeneration, the Iron Plating and the Twin Pistols (all of which are basic weapons and we don't really need), if that's at all possible, to Temmie, to come out even (If again, I can buy and equip the Theif's Dagger mid-battle). We probably have at least one more map, so equipping it now means we've gotten +2 gold by the end, meaning we can buy Temmie College at that point, possibly without upsetting the Sleuth if we feel like that's not a good idea. Well, I guess if we're not going to flee, we're going to fight.
Wilson sighs and moves up to the Web fight, spawning at C9 and hitting G Spiders 4 and 5 with a normal foxfire. None of the Kitsune help to just deal more damage. Before following Wilson, Willow goes to the empty grave and looks into it, thinking. After a while, she scratches a few of the ender/enchanting/Commander Keen symbols into the ground in front of it, saying it out as she writes it. Rest... for... the... lost. There. That probably won't last very long. At least it will stay for a little while. Then she goes up to join the battle, spawning at D9 then moving to D6 and hitting the spider there.
