OK, my special is apparently ready, so...I want Super Greed. As an Elite, he has 33% chance to resist, ignoring my automatic additional 10%. If he's lowered to 1 HP (which doesn't require anything dumb as we can in fact hold back killing blows) the chance of his resist is 23%, more than 3/4ths of a chance to Mind Control it permanently.
@Engie: Life bottle me (in front would be preferred, slightly). Items are free actions, don't worry. After that, move up enough to get in range of Super Greed (D2 minimum) and shoot him in the face, but holding back from a lethal shot. Yes; do NOT kill Super Greed, however tempting it may be (and you CAN IN FACT do this). Would you rather 1 gold or a POWERFUL new ally that can possibly make us generate gold at twice the speed? Go for a full shot, not a cherry-tap, in case Pit misses. If the answer to the above is yes and Engie obeys, I move to C1 and use Aura of Smooth on Super Greed, flavor text below. If I am successful, I feed him ©haos's special sphagetti. If not, hopefully I can cherry-tap him with an attack of my own and we didn't all just screw this up royally. @Anyone else: Please don't hit Super Greed. Silencing is critical if he succeeds at resist chance, so Pit, keep as-is. @Insert: If you live this turn, rez someone who is dead. WHO rezzes you is tactically dependent on where you are right now, as Ventrus is more useful if you're not near the Core but Teag is better if you are. @Everyone in the Core Room: I don't need to say who you need to murder now, do I? @Gladius: Move ship to G6 to get LOS on the Chaos Cargo Carrier. Beyond that. @Weapons: OK people, the Iris Gun is dead barring some unfortunate reveal about DarkSide's attack missing or something dumb. Ergo, just Turret up the Chaos Cargo Carrier some-note that this will be AFTER the Glitch is dead. We'll use the Glitch Beams on Spaz. Don't use the Missile YET, save it for when the Spaz is closer so we can one-shot it. @Laser Drone: Fire on the opponent Laser Drone. LASER WARS, FITE. "Ah! Free Respawns with Life Bottles! I'm cheating Nine so hard right now!" Roxxanne exclaims as she respawns. CEO Nine, of course, runs all forms of respawn systems in the far future where Roxxanne is from. She's actually not a prick like you'd expect despite charging money in almost every case. She's generous with free trials, so to speak. Roxxanne twirls over to the Teleporters, where an intruder had appeared. Some Super Greed fellow, who was initially piloting the Chaos Cargo carrier. He didn't look good-whatever that golden substance was, he was leaking it, bleeding it. Probably liquid gold. Delirious from blood loss, possibly, weakened, now was the perfect time to start getting some of ©haos's bigger baddies on her side. It's a shame they took care of her best mind-wrecking abilities beforehand in being an Archsue well before this nonsense-though at the same time she's not so angry about that. She KNEW it would pay off to train herself in the skills she 'already knew,' and its' not like they took EVERYTHING away from her. It was time to do the Magical Girl thing! And stop thinking of her being a Contractor immediately; Kyubey couldn't contract her even if they both wanted to, and why would be long and mostly speculation. In any case, she was thankful she chose 'Use 2 buffing spells of choice-those buffs cannot be nullified while in forme' as one of the forme bonuses, and included 'Auld Soul' as a choice. That wasn't an optimal setup for most of similar Class, as most didn't have particularly interesting/dangerous pasts close enough to properly utilize (it was a Magikarp Power build at best for them IF they are lucky), but for her it was basically the best statistical choice she could make. She's called the Blood Phoenix for good reason. Roxxanne breathed in, and lo, another flash of light was brought forth- -holy bleep. "Ah, awesome!" Roxxanne said. Patch and Tek's heads were conveniently shoved away by two of Roxxanne's...Dolls. Yes. We'll call them Dolls at this point even though only one was actually a doll. Super Greed did not get this. He was now looking directly at Roxxanne. Roxxanne apparently decided to go for a pattern for her Magical Girl outfit, and that was Card Suits. She interchanged the Black of the Clubs and Spades for white, but otherwise it was a pretty Red/White showing. Her obsession with having as many arms, ears and tails as possible was back in full-force, joined by a new, less-pronounced obsession with legs. She didn't look terribly garish, unlike her Trickster-inspired outfits from before, with the only rainbow-like thing being wings on her back, six total, with feathers like hearts, hearts like blades. Her eyes flickered every image conceivable, though seemed to like settling to a heart-shaped red iris with a white club-shaped puil on a white sclera on one eye, with a spade-shaped white iris with a red diamond-shape pupil on red sclera on the other eye, for consistency, switching which eyes those were every-so-often. Oddly enough, some kind of halo-like structure was behind her, a neon-green series of rings behind her head, arms and back; the sign of Auld Soul's effect. Oh, and the 'Dolls.' They were bloody everywhere. Most were hugging Roxxanne at various points, often forming rings around her to do so. I'm not going to bother listing them off-there's a lot and none are barbies or anything like that, OK? Most of this absolutely no-one saw, of course, except maybe for the omniscient, singular eye of <FracturedEye>, who would be best to actually wipe his memory of this being a thing beyond the core facts. The Dreamer did not, and probably could not, nullify the power of it-but the duration was a different matter. "Now, aren't you just so big and strong! :3" Roxxanne said, lowering herself to Super Greed's level. Let's keep in mind Super Greed is the size of a small child of a young-but-vague age. She rubbed his cranium with an arm apparently made of gold, which was probably going to be adding to the appeal, if not literally the entire appeal. "Oh, you must be so lonely if you only have money for company! :3 Maybe you can hop along with us? I'm pretty sure there's more pretty shinies as well along the way! :3" Roxxanne said, trying to reinforce a siren-like thrall that she emitted. Her Auld Soul buff gave back all she had lost. This was a rather long list, but this included the Sueren Song she lost more recently than many other powers. In theory, this would be a ridiculously awesome over-the-level-of-Ascendent level buff, but the OP Scale demanded she took little time, and she wanted to save as many things as possible. Even technical beings driven strictly by the possession of money. "What do you say, cutie? :3" Unawares to Super Greed, who was probably trying VERY hard to resist her cuteness/golden arms (to say nothing of the ones made of jewels or platinum, or any of the others), one of the other arms was holding a card direct for his skull in case his answer wasn't a 100% yes. Roxxanne would know. Originally posted on 2016-04-30 05:01:00 |

Missing a ship core?
I tend to believe that would be impossible. 1) Augment's a thing. 2) Cores can't dodge. So yeah. Unless some random bull happens, it's dead. Enough said. /null Originally posted on 2016-04-30 05:13:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

Roxanne should hear a voice echoing in her head, or whatever equivalent there is.
"Now isn't your time. Return." And then she's promptly hit in the face by a Life Bottle, courtesy of TEK, who is in the middle of running off to D2. Once there, he pokes his rifle around the corner, stares for a moment at Greed, then slowly taps a setting on his rifle, disabling the ability to kill... and promptly shoots Greed in the testicle-equivalents. As he hasn't specified, I'll respawn on F2, as the only other location is H2 (and really it doesn't make a difference on my move.) Also Engie, D3 is a wall. Unless you got Zilly'd at some point and I didn't notice.

If there is anyone that desperately needs to be healed (ie: supergreed got mind controlled and is now on our team) I heal them, otherwise I self heal and just sort of sit in a corner and fire the glitch beam at Spazmatism.

=TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND TEN=
Odds are, no update on the 3rd. There's totally a logical reason for that [small][small]overwaaaattttccchhhhh[/small][/small] Toast first grabs the Anti-Glitch Rifle pieces, and assembles the weapon. It actually snaps together fairly easily, but it looks functional enough. It looks like it'll have limited effectiveness if you don't have the proper ammunition, but it still should be able to shoot quick anti-glitch pulses. Which will be highly fatal to any Glitch-type foe. =BATTLE: THE SHATTERED SKIES, TURN NINE= You see another big, omnious ship looming in the distance. Make your preparations; strange glyphs have appeared in the ship, and you have this feeling you are about to be zerg rushed to high hell. Also get some people to the teleporters now; it might be hard to get them there later. Just a tip. cc: yesy, siria has ©onfirmed (t)ha(t) i should spawn ano(t)her ©rea(t)ure! cc: she wan(t)s loo(t). Siria uses Improved Focus, preparing. Also she fires Glitch Beam 2 at the Spazmatism. Because glitch beams are good.
