Toast finds herself unable to enter the battlefield to retrieve Darkside's scales, which are apparently a thing. The Salt Orb fails to get any saltier, but you create an instance of Salt in the inventory. Toast then jade-stabs the Totally Unsuspicious Rocks, destroying the coverings of another rail-gun type device.

The railguns are disabled, while Toast collects the Chaos Log Coupon. It's oddly heavy; but why? It's just a slip of paper, really. Battlefury then creates 7 Dog Ingots, before using the remaining residue to replenish the supply. Engie then realizes that the Foe Rush is "non-canon", and odds are you won't be able to spare Chairiel.

Okay, Soul Split's true nature has been revealed! Piono and Redstone have been torn in two; their souls are out on the battlefield! They're super-weak to damage, and some of Chairiel's attacks specifically target souls! Chairiel can also target souls where he would normally target players. Be VERY careful, Soulbroken; make one false step and all your allies will be injured! It might also help to control Chairiel's movement, as to prevent "surprise" damage from the Soul-based attacks.

If the coupon would explode before she can give it to Bill, the bootstrap paradox (not technically a paradox, but really a self-imposed stable time loop) suddenly saves Toast by sending a future Toast to push them both out of the way.

Toast picks up the pieces of railgun and walks into the Hangar. She looks at the fight and wonders whats stopping her from just...

Toast takes out the Loot Chest, places herself inside, then captchalogues both back into the inventory. She then climbs out of the chest while in the inventory and up to the mecha burrito (rip) and eats it (if the last action succeeds). She checks how much she is worth as an item at the Temmie shop and wanders back over to the inventory.

Redstone's Soul gets a call on his suddenly existent phone. It's a call from... Google Sheets? It answers it, then the Google Sheets App (which is also suddenly existent on his suddenly existent phone) opens.

DTG: Chaos was the first thing that popped up. A few flashes of jade-coloured lightning and the screen exploded and Toast climbed out of Google Sheets under DTG: Chaos's Bestiary/Inventory section. She then changes her mind, climbs back into the phoneand falls from the bottom of the screen into the fight.
FC: *two finger guns and a wink*
FC: Yeah, I'll get you a new one.

She activated her Item-Self to deploy her into the battle at E9. She moves to F7 and uses Shifting Sands on Piono's Soul, her remaining movement (because SS) to moves to L6 and Fireballs Chariel.

A message appears on everyone's suddenly existent phones.

FC: Unless that failed.
FC: But I tried really hard.

((And for those wondering, I highly doubt the self-damage numbers can stack, as that would be pretty broken.))

I first attempt to rip off the Blue Gem from whatever its sitting on, move to (K8) and cast AUGMENT on myself. Then I also try to remove the Red Gem.
Rin tries to haul off the Green Gem, moves to (E9) and medicates herself. "Sorry, but I need to stay alive too."
The gem removal should make things go a bit smoother. Y'know, since Chairiel can shoot through walls and all. And it's not like EBF4's gems can't be removed or anything; because THEY MOST CERTAINLY CAN.
And because they're placed on short podiums and not massive pillars, that further amplifies the point that they can be removed and be made to not interfere with movement.

Also, wow, things got serious fast. Alright, so Piono's lucky in that he can use the Slingshot to get to his SOUL, and Redstone and his SOUL's basically in the safe zone at this moment, so they're both fine. But don't expect to be so lucky, everyone else. Remain vigilant, all.

@Ire: You forgot to add the SP to some people's specials, including my own. Don't worry, I support the change you're going to make to self-inflicted damage.

I continue refining dog residue, repeating the process. If possible, make a dog block and check the recipe for compressed blocks. If i run out of residue, use the last of it. Again. And if i get enough dog blocks, compress them.

Somebody mind hitting me shifting sands? Redstone's only got a round or two before he can remerge, but I'm sort of stuck on opposite sides of the stupid uberboss.
My body loads the cabin into the slingshot, and TOFS fires it at Chairiel with the minicrit boost. In addition to that action, my body will sprint to F3. My soul floats on over to H3 then guards, since souls can still act, they just can't attack.
Everybody else might want to clear away from me and redstone's souls by the way. This is looking like it's gonna be ugly. This fight's actually gonna be difficult for once.

Unless of course toast's wacky antics succeeded, in which case my soul moves to C6 and remerges with my body, at which point my body does the above action.

@Piono I got an action above that may have gotten me back into the fight. I am the only one with Shifting Sands and used it to try and switch your soul closer. If me forcing myself through the inventory and a Narrative wall didn't work, then yeah. No SS I guess.

Clone 4, the stalwart champion among the clones, moves to M2 and uses Foxfire, hitting Teag once with Tengoku for... (1-3 + 2 + 4 / 2) = 3-5, I think, assuming clones get half healing and no damage boost for it. The other bolt hits Oriko with Kawa to inflict Wet for 3 turns.

If this doesn't work for some reason, the clone instead goes to M2 and just shocks Chairiel again.

Willow goes down to E4 and uses darkfire against Chairiel.

Ire, I think you forgot to subtract Wilson's MP for summoning. If you did just accidentally forget, Wilson stays where he is and meditates.

If for some reason Wilson got the summon for free, then... uh... he moves to H3 and guards.
