Aaaaaaa spiders!

Wait I freed a spider from a cruel death by grenade. Uh, I invoke Androcoles Lion to get one of these spiders to possibly help us. Or at least stop attacking us. Hopefully its one we haven't already tried to murder. I pull out the Rat I tried to feed to the spider from before, just to hope it works.

Nonviolence for the win.

...If that doesn't show any signs of working at all, I just run over to D10 {G6-G7-H8-E9-D10} for fortification reasons and Enchant Weapon on myself to ready up for some Spider murder.

Hey, ire, my stats are a bit messed up, my total strength should be 5, I should have Heal as a second standard skill (I would like to swap out grenade for enchant weapon if possible since I haven't actually used grenade yet), and my base damage should be 17-18 because of my strength and the origin gunpowder.

Holy smokes I have almost as much raw firepower as engie, how the heck did THAT happen?

Also, I can read the message on Moo's square.

I move back to square F6, then pop a grenade into square J9, hopefully dealing about 9 damage to both of the punks trying to flank us.

Wilson moves to square D9 and fires two standard foxfire blasts at spider 1.

Willow moves to the chokepoint of H10 and attacks spider 3.

Also, snowbomb might have been a better choice than telekinesis... maybe that's just because we're not around lava though. And does snowbomb gain +1 push per 3 int?

I'm not stealing it, we're separate parts, since I'm aimed more towards AoE, and I had to change my build because the twin pistols turned out to be utter crap.

Wait, no, why is my attack at 14-16?
The grenade launcher's base power is 15-16, isn't it? Then +2 from my strength, and another +1 from the origin gunpowder!

EDIT: I dance up to C9, because I don't like my odds if I'm right up against the miniboss that is almost certainly in the middle of spawning, and then reload.

Also, I think dodging needs to be balanced, perhaps by some other 'accuracy' stat? Maybe add Wisdom to the game that adds its own abilities?
Actually, that gives me an idea.

You have dodge chance vs. accuracy, going from -100% to 100%.
When an attack is launched, accuracy is added from the attacker's Wisdom and any other buffs (such as an item or close range) that they may have, and then the defender subtracts dodge buffs (such as from Agility or being further away) to give you the final total.
If the percentage is below 0, there is a chance equal to the amount it is negative by for the attack to miss, and if the percentage is above 0, there is a chance equal to the amount it is positive by for the attack to deal double damage.
That would allow for a system to nerf the somewhat broken dodge rates, although it might make updates more difficult due to an added layer of math.

GRENADE RIFLE:
-2 Damage from that of a regular rife. (Rifle's base is 13-14, so 11-12 damage.)
Then, your strength bonus raises it to (13-14).
Then the Origin Gunpowder raises it to (14-15).
And it turns out it's actually (14-15) and not (14-16).
The Splash Damage buff only applies to the... splash damage, so that doesn't effect that.

Oh, never mind then. My bad.

EDIT: Why is it that Str and Agi cap at 7? Str already has a system that would work perfectly fine, and Agi could go up even beyond where it is without too much trouble (although if the game runs on for too long, we'd need to have a cap for it anyways...)
