I spawn into the temfight at B8. After looking around for a bit, I notice that one of our troops is down. I give Glitch Temmie a vicious look.

GIVE ME ONE REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T KILL YOU RIGHT NOW.

Oh, here's my current argument.
As it stands, Chaos is trying to kill us. He didn't really have a reason that we know of right now. We then proceeded to rampage through his mindscape, dealing considerable environmental damage, as well as killing off three cores. If we keep traveling this path(And Glitch Temmie has no reason to believe that we're stopping anytime soon) then we'll probably destroy Chaos' mindscape, which ultimately results in the tems' death anyways. Therefore, there's a perfectly justifiable reason for tem to work with Chaos.

I'd also like to point out you just slaughtered all of tem's friends. At once.
Glitch Temmie has literally NO reason to believe you guys have any good intentions at all anymore.

Question: If I move after my attack, can I use my retreat for that as well?
Well, first, I Portal Rend the Mistake. If I can use my retreat, I use the 7 Move to go to N3. If not, I just go to J3.

What a strange problem I'm facing...

I value life too much?

Do I? I'm not sure...

To me, protecting a real person from wounds is better than protecting a mindscape fragment from death...

But I guess in the grand scheme of things, death for us is temporary.

So what's worse? Real, but fleeting wounds? Or fake, but permanent death?

=TURN SEVENTY-FOUR=

-15- Turns until Chaos wins a DTG Hunger Games. In canon.

Piono heads to the Vanish. This somehow fails to turn it into a regular zone. It's kinda highly unsettling; there no floors, walls or actual sights; you're standing in pure whiteness. Sure, you can see the other, connected zones from here, but there's no doubting that this is some spooky stuff. Insert then does ALCHEMY.

ALCHEMITER:
(Blue Sap Jar) && (Potions of MP Regen) = Chemistry Kit (lvl 3) (Cost: 25 Grist)
Spoiler Alert
Chemistry Kit:
It's a strange little kit, hastily made from a bottle, sap, and MP. Lots of MP. Using the blood of your enemies, you could easily make a potion...
Stats: +1 MP Regen. The first kill you score every map gets you a free MP Vial. Accessory.

ALCHEMITER:
(Blue Sap Jar) && Maggy's Bow = ???'s Bow (lvl 4) (Cost: 30 Grist)
Spoiler Alert
Chemistry Kit:
And we don't mean you don't know WHO owned the bow. We mean ??? from the Binding of Isaac.
Stats: +1 MP Regen. Doubles all MP restoration (including regen) on the user BUT makes it so you CAN'T restore HP during battle. Soul hearts, m8. Hat.

Insert then crafts the Mage-Robe Parachute, then decides that using it might be a bad idea. BUT WHO KNOWS. Tazz then delivers a speech to Glitch Temmie, and tem begins doubting temself heavily...

>+40% EMOTION<

Toast then starts vibrating with Temmie. This somehow increases tem's Emotion's gauge by 5%. Toast then also +1's their STR. Piono then sends word about the Vanish to Gladius, who promptly runs over. The moment she enters the vanish, she stops in her tracks...

ga: ...I don't like this place. Something about it gives me the chills.
ga: Let's get out of here, as soon as we can...

She slowly wanders over to your position. The constant drone of static in the air doesn't help her case... Darkside then un-dies, walks over to the Vanish, and loses Deathdazed. He sadly does not respawn with 1/2 HP. The trio of Piono, Gladius, and Darkside then moves south, and arrive at the Makeshift Shack. The moment they arrive, Darkside self-heals for (10) HP.

This shack was clearly built by someone who had a surplus of chairs; they're hastily arranged to build walls and various supporting structures. If memory serves you, the spider wanted you to collect something spherical and grey. Which seems to be the Memory Orb you can see from a window in said shack. Surely, picking it up and running for it would be simple. Engie then asks for a reason as to why he shouldn't kill Temmie right now.

I mean, there isn't really much of a reason as to why you SHOULDN'T; it'd fit you, and how your friends wiped out all my friends.

Temmie somehow increases tem's own emotions gauge by 5%. Toast then gets spooked, increasing her Spook Gauge to 100%, causing nothing to happen. At all.

=BATTLE: THE TEMMIE WORKSHIP, TURN FOUR=
Temmie's EMOTIONS meter is already pretty high. What does this mean? WHO KNOWS. The Chaos Sabers are getting close, and you should probably be concerned about that.

Spook.

Toast leaps valiantly through the vent, (assuming she's not dead) seeing that she is completely useless in terms of empathy. She does, however, place down a robot clone to perform TSLh (Temmie Sign Language hoi!!) for any speeches that might occur. She justified that this was out of spite so she could get around her empathy barrier. She follows the road of the ages to the Vanish, picking up the 1 Gold that may or may not have been taken if you look at all the threads in forum games.

On the way, she places the KO'd vent temmies in tEM coFIN!, writes R.I.P on them and slides them through the vent. Again she said to herself it was just spite and irony, not the pseudo-empathy that it really was. Coming from Toast, this would probably seem far more powerful if they knew how empathatic Toast couldn't be.

The temmies were upside down in the coffin, just making that important thing to note clear.

Aaron blinks.
"We... Are we..."
"Hold on a second, we're in the group inventory."
"um... Darkside, down a health potion, just in case, I don't like the look of this."
He then walks over to the corner, and applies vines to that one chair over in the corner in such a way that it won't collapse the entire shack if it gets moved.
Somehow, despite not having any real experience in this kind of thing, Aaron manages to do it without actually nudging the chair.

"Okay, I think that's it. I'm gonna grab the memory orb, you two keep an eye out, this is always when something goes wrong."
He then goes over and picks up the grey memory orb anyways.

EDIT: Once the Glitch Temmie fight is over, could you tell us what stat increases tem would've gotten after each soul eaten?

Ugh, great, didn't spawn with half health. Now I have to hope my regenerative powers and this health potion are enough.
I down a health potion. I hate being on low health. After, I stand my ground, chair in hand, poised to strike, looking around, jerking my head towards any miscellaneous sound that dares make its presence heard...
...Well, honestly, I'm usually a bit paranoid when it comes to stuff like this. And for good reason. I should notice/sense anything that comes behind us or from our flanks.
Stay on guard. Both of you. Something might attack us from anywhere at any moment.
And I wouldn't touch that apple... just in case...

I felt uneasy, much like my cohorts were...

Advice: Don't group up like that again, that's just trouble waiting to happen, and we really want THEM to come to US right now.

Argh. That thing is going to try to shoot at me. For this turn, anyone who's not Pricey should get away from me, because:
MOVE: D4
USE: Guardian
RETREAT: E3

MOVE: D6
TURN END

((two questions on special, since you're going to add it soon enough.
1. Is it defined by the player or the weapon?
2. Do summons get a special? [probably not]))

Okay, we're going to need to officially switch to an "every-other day" schedule, especially given the upcoming exams. In about 1 / 1/2 weeks.
/spookypost

How SPECIALS will work:
Each player will have a SPECIAL bar. Not only does this make you feel special, but there's more!
The SPECIAL BAR, by default, takes different amounts of SPC to fill, based on the power of the special. A weaker special would only take, say 50 SPC, while a super-strong AoE special would cost about 150 SPC. Each SPECIAL bar is filled differently; some may fill with damage dealt, others by healing allies, killing enemies or taking damage. There are no "predefined" specials; you can make your own specials up and screw around with them as you please. Not entirely sure how to balance around splash damage; maybe the amount of SPC you get from an attack is divided by the amount of foes you hit?

The SPC Stat will increase the power of your special, as well as decrease the cost at times. I'll just make up a few on the spot, as example special moves. If SPC does get added, the base player starting Skill Points will rise by 3, as well as everyone else's skill points so that they can respec to get their "dream special".

EXAMPLE SPECIALS:

Oblivion Bolt
Spoiler Alert
OBLIVION BOLT:
SP needed: 80
Filling Method: DMG Dealt
Fires a large bolt made up of the powers of oblivion, dealing (15-18) damage to a target, and inflicting Curse on them for 3 turns.
MODS: (-10 SP per 2 SPC) (+1 DMG per 1 SPC) (+1 DMG per 1 INT) (+1 Curse Duration per 3 SPC and INT)

Aurora Heal
Spoiler Alert
AURORA HEAL:
SP needed: 120
Filling Method: HP Restored to allies (x2), DMG Dealt (The x2 means that you get twice the SP from doing said action.)
Bathes the area around you in a rainbow light, restoring (11-13) HP to all allies within Range 2 of you.
MODS: (-10 SP per 2 SPC) (+1 HEAL per 2 SPC) (+1 HEAL per 2 INT) (+1 Range per 4 INT and SPC)

Soul Split
Spoiler Alert
SOUL SPLIT:
SP needed: 60
Filling Method:Summon DMG Dealt
Creates a copy of the caster, with 50% of the HP. It can move and attack like a normal summon, and cast spells (which drains MP from your MP Pool). Spawns within Range 3.
MODS: (-5 SP per 2 SPC) (+1 Soul HP per 2 SPC and INT) (+1 Souls Spawned at 5 SPC and 5 INT)

Ascendant
Spoiler Alert
ASCENDANT:
SP needed: 300
Filling Method: DMG Dealt, HP Restored to allies (x2), Damage Taken (x3)
Grants you Ascendant Status for 3 turns. Grants the benefits of 5 HP Regen, 5 MP Regen, +3 AC and mini-crits. You can act after using this.
MODS: (-40 SP per 2 STR and AGI and INT and SPC) (+1 Duration at 4 SPC) (Crits at 6 SPC)

Summons don't get specials. But there's nothing stopping you from making specials that effect both you and your summon.
