Might as well give my take on this element system. And change my action slightly...
If Glitch Temmie is going to stand down, I don't use the laser, obviously. But I doubt that's going to happen. Aw... Ire put the summon's dodge cap at 75%. Party pooper. You know what would be great? An item that lets me equip a peice of gear to my summon. I totally wouldn't use it for anything game breaking like giving Willow a personal cloaking field. Anyway, foxfire should probably have the default type of Lightning because overall, Wilson's element of choice is electricity. Or if you want to be mythologically correct, a Sanda Kitsune. I'll give Willow a 50% fire resistance and a 50% weakness to... um... air. Let's say air. But 2 questions... One, how do weaknesses/resistances work exactly? Is it (damage * (1 - resistance)) for resistances? So taking 20 damage 50% resistance deals 10 damage? And for weaknesses, is it (damage * (1 + weakness))? So 50% weakness means you take 1.5 times as much damage, 100% weakness means you take double damage? And my second question, can I give Willow a 200% resistance to fire? So if she takes 10 fire damage, she instead gets healed for 10 damage and burn acts as a regen. Then of course, she'd have a 200% weakness to air and take triple damage from it. @Talist: Yes, it's like that. Taking 20 damage with 50% resistance to that type is 10 damage instead. And how you put it for weaknesses.
Foxfire modded, and resistances / weaknesses added. As for 200% resistances, I'll allow that. Originally posted on 2016-01-18 20:20:00 -------------------- |

=TURN SEVENTY-THREE=
-16- Turns until Chaos's Spaghetti spoils Chaos Log #8 added. WHOOPS I FORGOT TO ADD IT EARLIER. Piono first tests the combination that Flumpty left at that one page. ALCHEMITER: Origin String && Temmie Flake && Sap Orb = Origin Spam (lvl ?) (Cost: 40 Grist) Spoiler Alert ...that's not what you expected to get. Or was it? Piono then engages in an extremely long sequence of actions. He runs to the Cavern Mouth and steals the empty patch of grass, then manages to loot three Sap Orbs. He then sprints by the Inferno Arachnid, and arrives at the Edge. There is actually nothing left here. You CAN see some other islands from the Edge, however. You can see that spot where you fought the Origin Creeper, and there's two figures fighting above said island. How odd. You then run to (and look at) the Spun Plans, and promptly loot them; it seems they were for some sort of vague system which could probably be helpful on the ship. You then ask TOFS to randomly join you, and it starts waving it's arms around. ...you get the general idea that it wants you to retrieve something first. It's just south of the Vanish. The Vanish, namely, being that place that Engie stole. You also somehow get the idea that you'll have a Player Cap of 3 once you go there. It then occurs to you that you're not entirely sure if the Mindscape is destabilizing; the cracks in the sky haven't grown any bigger, and despite you blowing things up and quite literally stealing zones, Chaos seems to be fine. You then press F to pay respects to the Matriarch, and then fill about 4 bottles with water. You then place a plate of spaghetti down at the Sleuth's grave, and then- cc: why cc: don'(t) was(t)e my spaghe(t)(t)i cc: i worked hard on (t)ha(t)(t)(t)(t) ...You feel sudden pressure, and cannot drop the spaghetti. You are ready for the responsibility. You then head to the portal back to Memoir caves, then promptly collapse before you can enter. You did tons of stuff this turn seriously augh. You then still manage to check the other alchemy. ALCHEMITER: Grenade Rifle && Auto-Loader = Automatic Grenade Launcher (lvl 8) (Cost: 135 Grist) The rifle is simply too powerful. Insert then does MORE alchemies. ALCHEMITER: Mana Vial && Potions of Regen = Potions of MP Regen (lvl 2) (Cost: 15 Grist) Spoiler Alert ALCHEMITER: Blue Sap Jar && Mana Circlet = Sap Circlet (lvl 2) (Cost: 20 Grist) Spoiler Alert Insert then also crafts the Regenerative Robes AND purchases Healmore, while Teag +1's his STR and joins the fight at the Temmie Workship! Pricey also +1's his STR, while Engie AND Wilson join the TemFite. Willow also respecs, dethroning Tazz as the God of Dodging. Insert also joins the murdertrain, and Redstone +2's his MP and also joins said murdertrain. Teag also equips the Broken Scale Necklace. Darkside then also joins the battle, and converses with Glitch Temmie. ...Chaos wouldn't backstab us! We're a proud race, and... >-20% TRUST< ...uh, pretty sure he won't backstab us. Why would he help us establish our society in the first place, anyway...? As for exiting the Mindscape, that's impossible; we're simply representations of something he's seen, and this is our home. As for becoming a merchant; we are merchants already. We've expended our shop-empire all over the several islands of the Mindscape, and we are making PROFIT. With Temmie Flakes (copyright tem) cereal! Buy a box today! Temmie's sheer MERCHANT POWER compels you, and you purchase a box. You obtain a box of Temmie Flakes. Nice. While everyone's going shopping, Insert buys a package of Build Grist. But you can't win this. Chaos is on our side, and given how many players have just stormed into the room, I'm pretty sure we're about to get reinforcements. We'll see. Temmie stands there. Surely enough, reinforcements arrive. =BATTLE: THE TEMMIE WORKSHIP, TURN THREE= Darkside was killed by Glitch Temmie, and tem got a slight power buff. However, after the general massacre of all of the tems, Glitch Temmie seems emotionally vulnrable. Perhaps you could stop this conflict before it intensifies? Just be careful; Chaos's forces are coming in at full force now, and new foes will spawn each turn until Glitch Temmie dies... or is spared. Just a quick note: I'm choosing my enchantment type to be Lightning, since that's the only one of the basic types that Lightform doesn't have access to (although I think it would make sense for the mace, and if you agree with that then I want my enchant to be Dark)

Heyguysimback.
This is fairly low priority right now since I got a GvT strife, two DTG posts and a whole lot of RP reading in the following order to do. 2. GvT strife. 6. Check alerts and make sure I haven't missed anything. Originally posted on 2016-01-19 01:39:00 |

I decide to go back to The Vanish, thereby transforming it back into a real zone, albeit a rather vaguely metaphysically unstable and slightly unsettling place to be in.
I need two peeps to go with me, and then we shall tackle the (hopefully) final challenge of Zone 1, get us another optional party member, and give me my opportunity to finish looting Zone 2 before we move on. I test:

I'm not a guy who wants to be hostile. I got forced into this place because my teammate over here *points to tazz* had the brilliant idea to try and fight you, and now I have to fight for me and my friend's lives yet again in this living hell.
Do I look like I want to be attacking everything in sight? Because I really don't want to. And of course, someone's trying to kill my friend over here. Fantastic. Sigh. Can someone else help me get rid of this thing? MOVE: D4 ATTACK: Windforce Mistake RETREAT: C3 MOVE: E3 ATTACK: Mistake TURN END ((the missile turret's going to attack me because I have the highest HP in the game. stay away from me this turn, or if you're Pricey and want to protect me, use your 2 retreat to get the heck out of splash)) ((also, if we get temmie armor, i'd like your necklace Teag. I have a better build for that anyway. Status Resist + 1HP Regen + 3 AC + 1 DMG = How to destroy everything the only way I could do it and become the true siege archer)) ((still supporting the use of the SPC stat)) Originally posted on 2016-01-19 04:53:00 -------------------- "I am a totally innocent maid that is corrupting everything around me."

"Glitch Temmie, LOOK at what just happened! We COULD have resolved this peacefully, you know! If you weren't constructing that Rocket Launcher to basically kill us-as you haven't said anything to the contrary-we would have just left you alone, buy your stuff, and so on, and continue a semi-prosperous relationship through buying some of your wares over at the Endless Desert branch! I'll be blunt-everyone has THOSE moments, but perhaps consider the fact that you PROBABLY shouldn't have started freaking out over possibly getting ONE CROSSBOW with seemingly murderous intent before we could really gauge you at all, or the fact that we really do not know what or WHY you are building that thing beyond giving it to ©haos to kill us with it-basically making you a proxy aggressor!"
"Look, people make mistakes, but those Temmies, they look up to you, they'll follow your example! If we kill you, possibly EVERY Temmie that hears about this is going to be out for blood from us, and given how strong we are-i mean, look what happened just a few moments ago-do youREALLY, REEEALLLLLY think a few disorganized Temmies are going to pose a threat to us? I mean, Toast over there KO'd two Knife Temmies just to get in, and it was basically so easy it didn't even warrant a combat scene! And what do you think will be the logical response to attempts on our lives, in a mindscape which appears to be almost dead-set on killing us all at every opportunity ever?! It's lucky those two Temmies were just left unconscious! AND WE JUST WANT TO LEAVE! YOU JUST WANT TO PROSPER! Pitting us against each other is something NEITHER of us want, and right now, the way you're going, either you're going to kill basically nigh-innocent travelers sucked into this situation if you win, or basically looking like a martyr and then having every Temmie get vengeful and go to attempt to off us, and given how successful the defense here clearly was, probably die in the process of heated combat! This is SOOOO not worth it no matter what! Please just stand down, this isn't going to benefit anyone, and hasn't been benefitting anyone!" As the Mistake over there is on neither side of this whole issue, I toss a Shuriken directly at it from where I'm standing, and move to C5, JUST out of the Rocket Launcher's range, as well as Glitch Temmie's range. (I really want to try a high INT, AGI or Summon esq. build (like Talist's/Wilson) Currently this build is getting a bit stale.)
Toast closes her eyes and nods in agreement on cue, making sure not to breach the limit of her frankly quite limited empathy. "Yeah." Toast started vibrating gently, not to empathise with G.Temmie, but because she was cringing at how empathetic she was being. It was almost breaking her limit. Honestly she preferred to mess stuff up. She would much prefer to kill Glitch Temmie, but didn't want Roxxanne/Tazz's work to go to waste and made sure her face didn't show this. If someone took action and decided to attack G. Temmie, Toast would Augument them (if they so pleased), otherwise Toast would augument Tazz/Roxxanne before he/she attacked the Mistake. Toast chucks 3 spec points for 1 STR. Originally posted on 2016-01-19 09:02:00 |

@Piono: If anything, the mace should be Light, correct? Lightform was made up of a few purchased alchemies; (and pardon my spelling) Levis Ignus, Diluvium and Deum Lucem, the MACE OF LIGHT. There's still room for alterations; having every form of Lightform have its' own unique element would be awesome.
@Darkside: Because you died, you won't be able to rejoin the Temmie Workship fight, unless you get rezzed there. You can still join Piono on his magical destruction romp to the Vanish, however. Originally posted on 2016-01-19 17:01:00 -------------------- |

Chaos Log 8, Translated: ?cc: Every single failure that he's created. They're all coming back to haunt me. ?cc: Was it worth it, Creator? ?cc: They all want to go back. They want to rejoin with the whole. ?cc: It's hardly a surprise my ancestor tried to kill me that day... ?cc: He wants it back. The part of his soul, contained in me. ?cc: If you can read this... ?cc: The 0rigin. The Failure. The Mistake. The Error. The Corruption. The Broken. The Glitched. The Forsaken. The Heartless. The Abandoned. That One That Got Stuck In The Security System One Time And Was A Serious Pain To Remove. The Deleted. The Shattered. ?cc: They're all coming for you, guided by rage and despair. Don't hesitate to destroy them; their ability to reason is long gone...? Alright, so there are 13 bits of him, and each apparently has his soul. This is VERY important. This is also correspondant with the Manuel for Ire (bottom of the rules page in case you haven't seen it already), in which the author states he lost about 13 separate Ires, and one got in the Security System (meaning, that particular instance is the one with the really long name). Of note, we are currently fighting the Mistake and the Failure, aka the 3rd and 2nd. It may also be of note, but the Sleuth is probably one of them, given Ire came after him and his, err, state. That being said, that's just a possible guess-though if it's true, all we know beyond that is that he's definitely not 11 (aka really long name guy, or the Removed for short), who intergrated with a Security System and not Minecraft like the Sleuth did. As for this guy saying this...He MIGHT be Ire, and I mean the Ire played in DTG2: ?cc can refer to CrankyCreeper or ChaosCreeper, after all, so we dont' know, but we can make guesses. Ire currently has Waluigi Thyme issues (which would correlate to the W, W as in WAAAAAAAAAAAAA), Ire is merely trapped in a spherical prison (like the disc described, an entity we pretty much knew as being Ire), and of course, the fact that 'one of them tried to kill him' could be related to the Sleuth's attack on Ire during that one text adventure he did-which is also why I think the Sleuth might be one of them. Given their status, we might free the soul shards and MAYBE do something about helping them out to fix the issue here if we defeat the bodies. Might be in our best interests to go out of our way to defeat them when we see them. /lorenull. Originally posted on 2016-01-19 20:07:00 |

If we don't have to fight, I don't want to.
Wilson moves to B8 and uses Foxfire on Numbersoup, once for 7-9 HP and once for 4-5 MP. Willow moves down to H10. G.Endos 1 and 2 whack the Mistake. If necessary, they move and use retreat to get back to their original position. G Endo3 moves to M8 and attacks the clone there. G Endo4 tries to move towards R8 and attacks the G.Crimr2 then retreats to R9. Originally posted on 2016-01-19 21:09:00 -------------------- Played.

@ire: oh, that's right, Lightform is an alchemy out of the Terraria session, I'd forgotten. Okay, yeah. If mace form is going to be light, then shard form ought to be Lightning.
@Darkness. Just heal yourself up at the bed memories and come join me. I figure that just the two of us can get through what ire's doing unless he decides to be stupid and throw something big at us at a time like this. Because seriously, it's time to be wrapping up Zone 2, not throwing in random sidequests to make it take even longer. Besides, me and you are two of the min/maxed players, if he wanted it to be a reasonable challenge for 3 people, the two of us can probably handle it on our own, even if it might be a bit difficult. Pit and Talist, if either of you decide to bail for RP reasons, there's another slot after Darkside comes down (and possibly even a second if he decides not to) A small one of Aaron's drones is hovering, about to relay something out, when suddenly the massacre happens. The drone stops, then just moves back into the shadows. "... I..." Aaron sits down on the 'ground' "I need to get out of this *heck*hole." He takes the annoying dog out of the inventory without actually using it, partially because at this point, he's feeling sorry for the Temmies and really doesn't want to subject them to that, and partially because he just needs something to pet. A drone flies up to gladius: "Hey, gladius, mind coming and helping me out? I've got another friend I want to come on board, but he wants me to retrieve something for him first, and I don't particularly feel like enlisting the others to help me retrieve it right now." "I'm down by where the Sleuth's house was... Hold on, the drone'll mark it on the map, just in case. Thanks either way" Originally posted on 2016-01-19 22:56:00 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

Tem's face was actually QUITE FREAKY. And it was aimed straight at me.
O h . . . s h - Tem attacks with a fatal blow. *kaff* Heh... my comrades... will... *cough*handle this... better than... me... be them wanting... to spare... or fight... I collapse. But on my death, my body started turning into these black squares. Yes, squares. That were completely 2D, rotating along their vertical axis in our 3D plane of existance. Then they shoot up, through the ceiling. It looked oddly familiar... ... (Yeah, you guys'll do fine without me. I'll go with Piono.) ... I reappear at the Memory Bed, the black squares shooting down and reforming into my usual shape. Well... ugh... that could have gone better... I travel to the area Piono is currently. If I'm not well healed, I cast heal on myself. My buffed regen should take care of the rest, assuming I respawn with 1/2 HP. @ire I would also like to apply those skill points to INT now, thanks.
