OK, I have to control both Roxxanne and Toast for a sec, and Toast is surrounded. Jeez.
I'm not sure if Shifting Sands can be used with another spell. The Mistake is focused on Ruby, so we can just have Ruby sit where she is, and when it inevitably comes rushing to us, just wail on the Mistake when it gets in range. As for the Failure, well, we can't really do much due to its only attack being totally random, so we'll save that thing for later-maybe the Temmies will deal with it OK? "Augh, Glitch Temmie, ignorin' me...Irecreeper! Ire!! IRE!!!, if you're listenin' to this, or whatever, do me a little favor and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF WHATEVER PATRON DEITIES YOU WORSHIP, ESPECIALLY INCLUDING THE CHAIR GOD, THAT YOU PLEASE DON'T TRY TO HURT US WITH THOSE PURPLE THINGS, OK?!" Pricey, Patch, if you would be so kind and kill the 2 Temmie Clones near the north of the map? Pricey, please kill the 2nd Glitch Temmie Clone; Patch, you can JUST about nail the 3rd afterwards due to your range if you move up to G3, which will also protect you from Glitch Temmie proper. You can both ignore the Mistake for right now; it'll only try to attack Ruby, if I'm correct, which we can deal with when that thing gets into range, AND is going to resist our attacks so it's not really as beneficial as getting rid of those pesky clones. Ruby, please just kill the 1st Knife Temmie right next to you and prepare for the Mistake's imminent approach-we'll get backup for you, no worries. Numbersoup, I'd appreciate it the most if you used a Grenade on the 2nd Knife Temmie again. Toast is in such a position that, if the 3rd Glitch Temmie clone isn't gone, he's going to take serious damage. Or her. Or Tem. Not sure what Toast's gender is. If the clone is gone, Toast will use the boosters to slip all the way over to G3, but not before point-blanking the 1st Temmie Archer with the rifle. If the 3rd Glitch Temmie Clone still exists, Toast will instead use Shifting Sands on the 5th Knife Temmie and then obliterate the 1st Glitch Temmie Clone. Meanwhile, I head over to H6, and fling a Sapsplash at K6, doing MOAR massive damage to the crate by way of hitting it 8 times again (hopefully). Then, I slip over to G8, which provides a LOT of cover. As long as it happens before Numbersoup grenades the 2nd Glitch Temmie (hopefully), I'll be OK, mostly. If anyone spawns in, if you could somehow finish off the 3rd Knife Temmie, that would be great. Originally posted on 2016-01-16 17:53:00 |

Could I just ask... are we trying to keep the crate alive? I could have Wilson respec to having a beam, spawn in at B6, then fire it straight down the middle of the corridor. That would destroy the crate and deal 16 damage to everything hit, getting me a boatload of G.endoskeles. But one of those would get taken by the Failure. Wilson could also learn mana burn and start draining G.Temmie's mana.

Well then. I COULD keep spamming AGI, but I think I'd like to raise my STR. That would probably be more helpful. So I do that!
Anyways, I head to the Temmie Workshop, spawing on the vent at J2. I promptly attack the Glitch Temmie Clone 3 and, doing something that practically nobody has done, use my movement AFTER I attack, running to G3 to help defend Pricey! ...I could have just done that with Retreat, but whatever. As for helping GA design the ship, I think that could wait until after we clear the Temmie Workshop. Originally posted on 2016-01-16 19:11:00 -------------------- It was inevitable.

@Talist: We are NOT trying to keep the Crate alive, and honesty a Glitch Endo going to the Failure is hardly a problem compared to a Tem Clone or a legitimate summon being taken. Generic might already try to beam it, though, and Manaburn would be delicious against Glitch Temmie. Slight change-up: If the Crate is beamed (and destroyed), I'll head to G8 immediately and shuriken the 4th Knife Temmie straight-up.
@Teag: Pricey's already got the 3rd Glitch Clone covered. Perhaps you should try to do something else? @Generic: Give me a REAL reason, because your performance with the spiders that Redstone should have rightfully just been devoured by a while back definitely throws 'MERCY FOR MERCY'S SAKE' out of the window with a passion and while certainly not complete monsters, they're actively aiding ©haos, who is the primary antagonist here above all else. I had to restrain a long rant on that, in fact, but can we remind ourselves that Glitch Temmie tried to indirectly threaten our lives for a crossbow and is actively working for ©haos? At the very least, they're not the completely innocent bystanders the Spiders were. /null Originally posted on 2016-01-16 21:07:00 |

Hmm. Origin Gunpowder AND Origin String...
I reload, then head off to the Temmie Workship and spawn in at B8, I have a better idea after reading about boosters. I head down to D10 first (2 move), then across the boosters to H10 (another 2 move), then shoot the crate. @Tazz: Alright, great.
Wilson gains +1 INT! His INT is now 9. And because foxfire works in terms of per 3 int, his power improves a lot! Which is really fitting, considering 9 is his lucky number with the whole nine tailed Kitsune thing. He also trades out telekinesis for beam. Willow gets respec'd. I now have enough INT to do the omega dodge strat. Based on the power of MATH, I think I can make Willow be the tankyist character we have. I have 15 points to work with and if I spend all of them on dodge, she has a 75% dodge chance, meaning she effectively takes 1/4th damage from all sources (except status/terrain effects). If I take the melee attack, Willow has a base of (10 + 9 + 2) = 21 HP. So... 21 times 4 equals an effective 84 freakin' HP. Summoner = best strat. AND, because she has such a high dodge value, it's kinda like healing is 4 times as effective on her. Although, she can get one shot by a very unlucky hit. Please ignore the very squishy fox cowering in the back. New Willow Stats: HP: 21/21 MP: 5/5 Dodge: 75% Attack: Melee (10-11 damage, 1 range, 1 retreat) Special: Burst (4 MP cost, deals 8-8 damage) Wilson goes to the Temmie fight and spawns in at B6. After apologizing, he fires a frikin' laser beam right down the middle of the corridor, possibly scoring 4 kills. Edit- Specifically a wide beam that's facing to the right. It shouldn't hit any allies thanks to the wand effect, even if someone got in the way. Willow spawns at B7. If either TemWK2 or TemWK3 is still alive, she moves to E6 and attacks the offending enemy. If they are both dead and TemWK4 isn't dead from Tazz's action, she moves to E8 and attacks that one. If all of them are dead, she just moves up to E4 and guards in order to form the most effective wall for Wilson. I think my strategy is to use big AOE clears, wipe out all the trash to get a million summons, then beat up the boss with my million summons. @Talist: Please specify a Wide Beam here, as that'll probably do the job you want it to a LOT better, and is probably what you're intending. A regular beam will be...Not nearly as good.
@Generic: GO HEAL GLITCH TEMMIE IF YOU'RE GOING TO DO THAT! NOT THE CRATE!!!...Not like it'll survive with Talist's mass beam, so you're late anyways. ![]() /null Originally posted on 2016-01-17 00:05:00 |

>CHANGES INBOUND:
The Sap Soaked Helmet will be nerfed to not touch MP regen. (because giving a mage infinite MP AND increased HP AND status immunity seems like much) ...also... The Elemental System is being implemented, because it DOES seem like a good idea. There will be three "main" elements; Fire, Ice and Lightning. There's no Pokemon-esque type chart; some creatures will be weak to fire and resist ice; some will simply be weak to fire without the ice resistance and such. There will also be more, less common elements like Earth, Light and Dark. Unless listed, a resistance / weakness will decrease / increase damage by 50%, rounding down. Quite a few spells and equipment pieces will be effected by this. SPELLS: Fireball -> Fireball / Icebolt / Shock Snowbomb -> Earthbomb Thunderburst -> Firebomb / Iceblast / Thunderburst Enchant Weapon -> Enchant: Fire / Ice / Lightning Ice Pillar is now destroyed by Fire-based attacks. Totems can now grant Elemental resistances. EQUIPMENT: The Sap Soaked Helmet / Everywood Helmet now grants weakness to Fire, and resistance to Earth. The Iron Umbrella grants resistance to FIRE and ICE, but weakness to LIGHTNING. The Chair / The Web gain the DARK element when using their weapon skill. The Grimdark Tomb is now DARK. Seriously, a lot of things changed. No update today; this took a long time, adding resistances and weaknesses to basically every single enemy and such. If you have suggestions for equipment resistances / weakness and enemy weaknesses / resistances, feel free to tell me. Originally posted on 2016-01-17 22:06:00 -------------------- |

(Placing this here to compensate for the recent happenings.)
I put my 3 skill points into an INT. I now have 5, so my augment should last for 2 attacks. I stop outside the Outside The Shack, and take a drink of Red potion. Then I continue onward to the vent, whilist making CERTAIN the Tems were really KO'd before I proceed. If not, a bop on the head with the Web should be more than enough. I leap down the vent, and spawn at (J3). I slip on the Temmie Ears for a bit and communicate with Glitch Tem. Well well well... the fabled Glitch Temmie. I've heard so much about your many feats, friend. Especially your rapid technological advancements as of late. I suppose you have all the reasons to repay Chaos for it all, but... is it really what you want? What if he backstabs you and all of your fellow tems? Is he just leading you into a trap, gaining your trust and then obliterating you all within the blink of an eye? Because I know of people such as him; shady characters whom have mal-intent engraved in their minds and/or code. I wouldn't trust him. Wouldn't you rather, say, exit the mindscape with us and expand the Temmie empire in relative peace, crushing every other empire beneath your iron tem feet? Or, if you'd rather go the merchant route, that's also a massive possibility. Money drives the outside world, don'cha know. Of course, Chaos might just expect you to die, juuuust like the colossal Origin Spider was. I honestly don't want tems as advanced as yourselves just... vaporize within seconds by all of our wrath. You can do so many great things in the world! Especially with your rapid tech advancements! If you still insist on attacking, still trusting Chaos, then we'll have no choice but to brutally murder you as we did every other powerful entity that stood against us. Except the inferno Arachnid. He's a cool guy. Well, not literally, but- OH, YOU GET THE POINT. I await Glitch Tem's response. If Tem reconsiders, then I cease fighting, and turn my attention to the Mistake. I re-equip the Sap Soaked Helm. I Trueform the Mistake as it passes by. ----OR---- If Tem doesn't... Alright then... IT'S YOUR FUNERAL! I re-equip the Sap Soaked Helm. Because the crate's probably dead, I rush to (J6) and Trueform Glitch Tem. A 25% attack decrease thanks to dark resist isn't much compared to the damage I'm doing. I then retreat to (I6). It's not too late for G. Tem to change tem's mind, however. Originally posted on 2016-01-18 03:14:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

In light of recent upgrades (I wasn't expecting ire to add the elements that soon! Good on you though, ire. This game just got even better.) I believe its time to rework a few of the status effects:
Burn: status effect is ended upon taking ice damage. Root: status effect is ended upon taking fire damage. Frozen (which needs to be added to the status list by the way): status effect is ended upon taking fire damage. Weaken: Target has weakness to Dark. Curse: Target has weakness to Light. Blessed: Target has 25% resistance to Dark and Light. Wet: No longer the effect currently listed. That should be changed to something else. (Healing aura? I dunno) While wet is in effect, victim has 25% resistance to fire damage and 25% weakness to ice and lightning. EDIT: @everyone: Guys, insert's been working on a build, we need to get him Bill's Cane if we can. Especially in light of the new changes. I know he's broken already, but seriously, more firepower. Much want. EDIT x2: I had an idea that since there are multiple variants on other abilities, perhaps grenade could have multiple variants as well? HE grenade, which has 1 extra splash and fire type damage, frag grenade which has higher damage than the other types and no damage type, concussion grenade which has air damage and can inflict prone, stun grenade which can inflict stun and has lightning type, incendiary grenade which can inflict burn and has fire damage type, and flashbang, which inflicts blind 100% of the time and has light type damage. Blind: reduces hit change by 25% for melee weapons and by 75% for ranged weapons (scanner reduces ranged weapon decrease to 50%) EDIT x3: So our element count is currently: primaries: non-elemental (perhaps have ghost-type enemies that had resistance to non-elemental damage?) fire ice lightning. Secondary: light dark earth air Could I perchance posit acid, psychic and force damage? The first because, well, acid is its own thing, and really doesn't damage things the same way other stuff does, psychic because mind crush needs to be nerfed somehow considering the fact that insert is nearing the point that he'll be able to spam it, and force damage because we need something for non-physical damage that isn't exactly elemental, either. Those last three would all be secondary, so they'd only be relevant sometimes. Acid would get advantage on highly metallic enemies, but be weak against... hmm... some stuff, probably toxic foes. Psychic would only rarely have advantage, since most of the attacks that have psychic damage tend to be pretty powerful, but those that are weak against it would be characterized by mental instability. Anything without a mind would be flat-out immune to it. force damage would sort of act as back-up normal. Very few things would have weakness or resistance to it.
