I immediately head to D4 (G8-F7-E6-D6-C5-D4), then hurl a precision-guided shuriken into the 1st Scale Beast. Won't kill, but won't matter, it sets up the kill for Patch (or considering he went first, it might actually kill instead) I then back off to C3 for that Extra AC that I need to stay alive.

If I can choose swap action order...
Willow attacks the Toxic Crawler one more time before getting swapped with Toast, almost killing it singlehandedly. Then, Wilson drops prone (not much of a height difference) and double foxfires the Glitch Creeper right in front of him if it got the 10% chance for survival against Piono's action. Otherwise, he moves to J12 and uses foxfire to heal Willow for 5-7 and restore her MP.

If I can't choose swap action order...
Willow stays at H11 and guards. Wilson drops prone and double foxfires the Creeper if it survived. If Piono killed it, he moves to J12, heals Willow for 5-7 and speeds her up by 2 movement.

Well, it looks like it's just a fightdop today. But LET'S ANSWER QUESTIONS.

@Piono: Nope, you can't open presents after the battle. Especially given that some of them... are painful. And it says that Darkside "rushed to the foe rush", so I don't think he went to the wrong spot. Also, Lightform's "swap and move" mechanic has been altered; you can now either swap and attack, or swap and move. You can't do both.

@Numbersoup: I guess Protect can be a skill. The Shield seems kinda stronk, though. Maybe if it only granted +1 AC, then sure. Switching to / from it would be kinda painful, though.

@Teag: As stated before, Diagonally moving / attacking is a thing.

@Talist: Yes, you can choose your order. If you don't give specifics, you'll act right after the previous action.

@Engie: ...I'd say something here, but I don't wanna go on a watchlist.

I'll be very, very blunt here; Numbersoup is probably going to die. It'll take some assistance / RNG for Numbersoup to get out of this one. He'd probably be dead if it weren't for Patch's placement this turn, denying the Scale Beast from moving in for lethal.

New wave! Go deal with it. As for recommendations on what to hit, wipe the Toxic Crawler, then probably kill the Matriarch as to prevent spawns. I'm also thinking of increasing the turns gained from Foe Rush, so that's a thing.

Reasons censoring the internet/monitoring mosques/building a 90 foot concrete wall/whatever else will never pass and thus means Donald Trump is either lying or an idiot:
  • You'll need to get a House or Congress member to propose it and commit political suicide
  • It will get filibustered to high hell
  • It will take a supermajority of supporters in both Houses, and even then it wouldn't pass
  • Small problem of it being mostly technologically/physically impossible
  • Basically the definition of Communism
  • The Republican party wants to distance itself from Donald Trump already, which means the Speaker of the House and Republican Whip aren't likely to support him
  • It would get struck down by the Supreme Court anyway, so the Constitution would have to be amended, a process that takes 3/4 of states

Did I mention I'm taking AP Government? It's so great to make fun of Donald Trump. ... Of course, he probably has an immunity to logic typed damage.

I could try to shield you with a Totem, but you kinda have no ranged attacks...

Since I'm close to it anyway, should I spend next turn trying to open it? The present, I mean.

Also, since I haven't used much of it, i'll swap out Totem for Summon once the battle is over so I can increase my INT for it.

Should we setup the slingshot this turn?

Toast uses Shifting Sands on the teeth present to hopefully rip it entirely off Teag if it is biting him right now. Then she goes up to the Fortified square at B8 and shoots the matriach.

If it is not biting him right now or those durned sands wouldn't delatch the present, Toast instead moves to B7 and shoots the Matriach, before moving to B8 via retreat.

@teag2 pls lev prezzies aloan in de futra. Feel free to kill the Teeth present though if it is biting you. Otherwise just lev teh prezzies aloan.

Suggestion: Some minor default in-battle mana regen. If a battle drags on and you don't have some regen item, you're basically screwed for skills right now.

@ire: oh, sweet. I have the option to move and swap now? Sweet. Also, insert's heal should've worked, I deleted the creeper before it could get in his way to move and help willow. Mind fixing that?

@toast: Please don't set up the slingshot. We're saving that for Glitch Temmie or if things get bad enough in the current fight.
In the inventory, mini-me hacks into the unpowered turret while it's still unpowered, changing it to our team so that it doesn't shoot at us when deployed. If that works, then he also, using some wire bits, a bottle of water, and one of the green orbs, wires up a makeshift battery that is inexplicably able to run off it's own short-circuiting, and plugs it into the turret so that it becomes properly deployable.

EDIT: Pit! Don't touch that present! Shoot the scale beast, if all three of you attack the scale beast, you've got a chance of killing it right now, and then you can finally take on the behemoth without getting murdered horribly! Not to mention that present is fairly likely to murder you too.


Also of note... Tazz, here's an idea, use those spider webs we have eating up inventory space. If that scale behemoth can't move, it won't be able to touch either of you for two rounds, and if that's still not enough, the keep out sign can be used just as easily for another extra turn or two of being out of it's reach. Both you and pit have ranged attacks, which means the two of you just need to take down the scale beast and stay out of the way of the behemoth.
I know you've probably already realized this, but I figured I might as well say it, just in case you hadn't. Promise you'll do the same if you notice something in a battle I'm in?
@numbersoup: Hold on! Move to D6 with your wild flailing. The scale beast might miss you (very slight chance) and give you an extra attack. At your current movement spot, if the scale beast doesn't get you, the behemoth will. Just an idea, probably doesn't matter given your critical health, but hey, it might make the difference.

@engie: drop your grenade onto the inferno arachnid. You'll drop the toxic crawler and deal some significant damage to the inferno arachnid as well.

As for my action, I double spike the steaming present with my spears, then switch Lightforme back to Mace form.

Strategy: If possible, see if you guys can drop the spike present into square D4 and then detonate it. With luck, that'll set off whatever trap is in the thing in such a way as to deal damage to the two elites.
Everyone that can't get up high enough to help deal damage to the matriarch/inferno arachnid, get to work on stomping those spiders. They aren't a huge concern since they don't have quite the damage capabilities of last round's basic enemies, but they're still going to cause problems if we don't mash them up fast enough.
Also, guys, make sure not to group up in one cardinal direction around the inferno arachnid (unless it's a direction that'll toast the matriarch too, since it'll likely try to avoid that) because we don't want to take large amounts of damage in this fight. We still have two/three (depending on if the bonus wave is included in the counter) waves left to go.

@everyone: Every single one of the presents is a trap, as stated by ©haos himself. We can make use of his generosity, just don't expect there to be loot in any of the chests. As the mimic that teag just punched has demonstrated, all of them are going to deal damage in one way or another. Try to direct that damage at the enemies.

I slip over to G5, go Prone for accuracy boosts, and attack E7 and the Scale Beast.

We might just want to skip to the part where we effectively teeth the Scale Behemoth to death after killing the Scale Beast, because the odds Pit (and in the off chance of that, me) ever getting backed into a corner by the Behemoth is next-to-none. If Patch's OR NumberSoup's attacks do NOT hit the Scale Beast, I head to G5, stay standing and throw Splinters at the Scale Beast instead to just get him peeved at me enough to ignore NumberSoup and not kill him (though I will not go Prone if I throw Splinters)

I stay where I am, and guard! (Mostly to get my MP back).

I support the natural regen of mana during battle. Perhaps 1 MP every 2 turns if you have 0 MP regen would suffice, with a small chance of going up before the second turn.
That and/or add some new mechanic like Guard that helps regen MP faster than Guarding, but having some sort of drawback along with wasting a turn doing it.
