After hopefully being helped out of a sticky situation, I am the peak of human comedy, Wyvern Evolve Strains, wooshes over to Q15, and slices at the Spout.

Auth reaches into the air, covering Nia in a fire-proof layer of red.

uA: Hey, you'll be protected now from the Rebels if they try anything with fire.

RP to do laaaaater.

As someone wicked, fundamentally, I disagree. One may always repent. I may have done terrible things in the past. That's why I help this coward now.

==RP==
Arthur looks back at Ette, slightly taken aback at her puppetlike appearance. “Thank you! I’ll go see where she is.

Arthur traipses up the stairs, looking around as he does so and noting the variety of plants in the house. 'Interesting, some of these look alchemically useful... I'll have to study them more later.'

He reaches the roof, taking a moment to take in the situation.

Hello? I was just teleported into your house by what I suspect was an unstable potion accident in my lab. Space-warping ingredient interactions... I heard someone up here might be able to tell me what's going-- wait. What is going on up here?

==BATTLE==
Arthur tosses a flask of Alchemist’s Fire at Splinter Spitter 1, the glass shattering on-hit and the volatile mix within igniting upon contact with air. “Ah, I so love having a bag of pre-prepared tricks when I'm forced to participate in a fight.

He then back to C9 and casting Shopping Spree. “Now, let me see, what sorts of things would be useful here... aha!

He selects two Airstrike Flares, a Chairian Brew, and a Chairian Pastry from the inexplicably-accessible storefront.

Laranei takes aim, and fires twice at Shield Generator 2 at L13!

If, however, it gets moved to L9 (since there's a note on the map about it), Laranei moves to I13 before shooting at it!

Action - Thina - Caravan (North)

If Fighter 2 is still up, Thina moves back to G11, bops it with a basic melee attack, before 'retreating' to H12. If it's not, then this action becomes more complicated.

Else...

Move to G11, H12, I12. Activate new™ and improved™ Transfusion, burning 13 HP, for a total of 31.2 healing, which gets flipped to poison damage through the power of hats. Send 18 of this to Gaiawall1, 6 to Storm Robe 1, and the rest to the shield generator.

... I don't really know what to do for RP. I need... to think...

Candy:

Chara, completely and utterly bored, decides to finally do something in this section of the post. That something turns out to be personally rolling the semi-spherical weirdness that is a physical d31.

Commence the bad audio quality drumroll.

Today's roll: 7 (He/Him)

Chara chuckles at the roll. It's been a while since that outcome. But it does nothing to ease his boredom.
As if on cue, a sharp and familiar sound reaches him, accompanied by a slight vibration in his pocket.

Chara would like you to know that he does not, in fact, always have a phone with him like some stereotypical texting-dependent teenager. Heavens forbid. He just has a new one appear whenever someone messages him.

Show Pesterlog

goldenAster [GA] began pestering ahrimansGoldflower [AG] at ██:██

GA: howdy pardner
AG: Oh, hello.
AG: Is everything alright at home?

GA: yep
GA: business as usual
GA: the twins are still drunk half the time, poor odbody is being angsty every so often, homura is homura

AG: And Joseph?
GA: doing necromancy stuff
GA: and also seems a little sad by you being away??
GA: maybe im just reading into things again

AG: I wonder.
AG: So, why did you contact me?

GA: i heard theres a war brewing on the other side of reality or something
GA: francias been focusing on it a lot
GA: her piece there seems to be going mental

AG: Is that not par for the course?
GA: sadly
GA: i hope you dont contract it as well

AG: How curious.
AG: You think I would fall prey to madness just because all her other Pieces seem to be doing the same?
AG: I thought you weren't superstitious?

GA: superstition kinda stopped being a thing ever since we were isekaid into a magical terrorist force -_-
GA: im just saying she might be actually cursed

AG: I appreciate your concern.
AG: But I will not allow myself to be defeated that easily.
AG: I could check up on that war, though. I believe I heard the narration here vaguely mention it.
AG: Unless my restrictions slipped up and I accidentally spied on someone's conversation.

GA: hmm??
AG: Something something "paradox war," something something Sburb again
AG: (Hooray)

GA: oh god no
AG: Yeah. I am gonna stick around in Gridland, thank you very much.
AG: See you in a bit. =)

GA: take care

ahrimansGoldflower [AG] ceased pestering goldenAster [GA]

Boy, I wonder if this will ever be relevant again.
Onto the important stuff!

Meat:

Chara stares the Bladedancer down, after taking thirteen gorillaing damage from him.

He stares.

And stares.

After seven carefully measured seconds of just staring blankly, he moves one tile upwards... and spits at the soldier.

Before he can get any karmic retribution or such, he casts Fury on Summa and waits for her to reenact that one Cat in the Hat meme on the poor sod in front of him.

Battle: Calibri frowns a little while watching the proxydana be not that good at doing things. He decides to call someone...

"Hey. You busy? People need you down here. The real you, not my proxy version."
"Too busy, sorry! Gotta try and make sure a child doesn't get herself killed."
"Shit... Alright. Come down when you can."

He frowns and slams the phone shut, turning attention back to battle... The proxy Verdana glitches out briefly, then shoots a Hidden Glow at Chemist1.

RP stuff:

"..."

Verdana, up in the sky and now above the cloud layer, just takes a quick look around before being relatively aware of where Maria is. Mostly by seeing pretty great up here. He decides to call someone, and thus, back at the house, the telephone rings. If there isn't normally one, a red turndial phone manifests
itself anyway, calling for attention until someone picks it up and answers it... Either way, Verdana's voice sounds off loud and clear.

"I've found Maria. Having trouble keeping up, but she's safe for now. Currently heading towards... some mountains. I'll keep you lot down there informed as this plays out. Make sure not to hang up, remanifesting the phone signal will slow me down."

He then falls silent for the time being, though the rushing air sound indicates he's definitely in hot pursuit of Cushion and Maria. Internally, he decides it might be best to not be too close, since it might spook one of the adventurous pair...

[This is after Chara's post]

Summa heads over to Q13, pulling out an Elemental Blaster and shooting the Bladedancer with Electricity. She nearly screams and drops the gun once seeing the electricity come out, but she holds her composure enough to put it back in the group inventory.

Whether buffed with Fury from Chara or not, Summa runs towards the Bladedancer, swiping her blade at them.

<ROUND ONE-HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT>

Echoss casts "Bottle" on his portal! As in, he tosses the Perfectly Generic Bottle at the problem, instantly cancelling out the Bottled Bottled ERR. This repairs the portal. Down in the Rosen Observation Outpost, Echoss begins to sweep up spider bones, tossing 40 Spider Bones into the inventory. This makes a small dent in the piles occupying the room. He also takes the time to loot a weapon from the hands of a rather rotted Chairian. Sanctified Edge obtained! It's unfortunately only a Tier 1 weapon, but it's quite the curious one.

He then spends some time making some boulders! It is unknown how the average person is meant to use them, but 3 Bowling Boulders made with 60 Cobblestone, 9 Clay, and 30 Stone Bricks! Chloe is then commissioned to go and grab some Molian Silver for Summa! Which is made more complicated by the fact that 1: Chloe doesn't know what that is, and 2: Chloe doesn't know what the hell that is.

CHLOE: ...Eh?
CHLOE: I don't know what that is. What makes it different than like, normal silver? Um...

As Chloe ponders this, Echoss goes over to his portal, and punches in some basic info into the panel on the portal he constructed to help with exactly these kinds of requests. A few minutes later, the portal hums to life and a small wheeled rack with 8 ingots of Elemental Silver, or at the very least something very similar to it! Chloe marvels at the shipment of silver, as well as the tech that went into the portal.

ECHOSS: While I may not have access to whichever universe Miss Tsar'ina hails from, the metal her sword is made out of closely resembles a metal that I know of from a few others, elemental silver.
ECHOSS: It doesn't actually have the properties of silver, it's something closer to a mix of titanium and steel which makes it actually useable for weaponry.
ECHOSS: What makes it special is its ability to absorb magic, with a stronger affection towards magics with an elemental bent. An object made from it will burst into flame if hit with a fireball spell, or crackle with powerful electricity if struck with chain lightning.
ECHOSS: It also tends to absorb more mundane energies however, so it's wise to keep it out of more volatile situations. I have coworkers whose eyebrows would testify of this if they still had them.

A feeling of uselessness washes over Chloe. Has she just been rendered obsolete by technology? She thought this sort of thing was only happening on Earth.

CHLOE: A-And I helped too!
CHLOE: ...
CHLOE: No I didn't...

Echoss pats Chloe on the head. The blonde sighs.

ECHOSS: In your defense, you've been doing a lot of work lately. You deserve a break now and then, same as the rest of us.
ECHOSS: ...and also I didn't do much either. I just asked someone else to have the system cart it down for me.
ECHOSS: Thank you Gerald, even if you can't hear me from here.

Mustache Girl bombs a nest. She creates a load of molotovs using 7 Omnite Postcards and 7 Expired Cider Bottles! Seven throws later, and the nest is on fire. She also then lobs a Mortar Shell into the cave, slaughtering everything in there with the power of explosives + napalm.

...Except for the Observer of course, which not only survives, but gets severely pissed off. It promptly inverts itself into a Gazyer, and chases Mustache Girl out of the Iti Nest, despite being on fire. You may want to dispose of this thing quickly. It's already rather injured though, so maybe you can take it out right here?

Toast decides that yes- Chess would be fun! She doesn't quite know where to start, though. Marron thinks on this for a moment.

MARRON: Uh, let me think...
MARRON: I'm not sure if people on this planet play chess or not, but I'm pretty sure I could buy a board from Chaos.
MARRON: Let me go and threaten him for a board really quick.

Marron darts out into the hallway. Moments later, she returns to the kitchen with a wooden chessboard in tow.

MARRON: ...He actually just gave it to me really easily.
MARRON: I didn't even need to like, go through some weird hurdles to get the board!
MARRON: Anyway, here...

She sets up the board on the dining room table. While Toast may not know it, she's actually messed up the proper placement of the king and queen. She directs Toast to a chair opposite to her.

MARRON: So, uh... guess I'll start with the basics?

She tries her hardest to give an explanation of the rules. They take turns. Pawns do this. Rooks do that. Queens are totally overpowered, and Marron has been calling for a nerf since she gained awareness of her situation in the Mindscape. If the King is captured, you lose. Also, Knights can parry with the L1 button.

MARRON: Okay, so while I have played this before, I've lost like every game I've played basically...
MARRON: Seriously, I can't believe Chaos is so good at the game...
MARRON: He has this signature move where he Tribute Summons all of his pawns to create Mega Chesstron...

MARRON: So, we're pretty much on even ground.
MARRON: Ready to play?

...It occurs to Marron that she might not really know how to play Chess. Of course, Toast doesn't know the traditional rules either, but surely their collective knowledge is enough to play a game where the board doesn't explode? Elsewhere, a certain author feels a searing pain in the part of his brain that records how to play Chess.

Venia suffers from moderate freakout, clinging onto Mari for support. The comparatively small scientist does her best to prop the larger woman up, blushing lightly whilst struggling.

MARI: Y-You could just l-like, lie down!
MARI: It's probably better than struggling to stand!

If she's compliant, Mari does her best to lower Venia to the ground, plopping a random pillow from the inventory below her head. If she's not compliant... oh well, Mari's forcibly making her lie down. How rude.

MARI: Look, she'll probably be fine!
MARI: We just might want to follow her ride, just to make sure she's safe.
MARI: Also, she has like... animalmancy or something, right? Cushion's probably obeying her wills or something, and wouldn't dare drop her.
MARI: I mean, I don't know how her power works, but whatever. She'll be fine.
MARI: Probably.

Mari grabs an MX-Drone, then yeets it into the air towards Cushion with a powerful burst of wind. The drone deploys in midair a sizable distance away from the Spiralfloof, and begins to follow her.

MARI: ...Oh, getting some readings from the drone.
MARI: I think she's heading towards the Old Pass.
MARI: Which is probably really, really bad.

MARI: so, uh
MARI: i don't know what to tell you
MARI: At least Spiralfloofs are pretty capable creatures, right?

...As the two of them collectively freak out, Venia's maid still does some good work. Namely, she casts Terraform on the Observer, wrapping it in a barrier. That should effectively neutralize it for now! She then takes a moment to scan the Fountain with the Entropic Detector. The readings are pretty damn high- there's a lot of Flux contained within this fountain! It's probably not the safest to scan it at the moment though, with an angry Gazyer about.

Ziah investigates some bookshelves. He flips through a lot of titles, but most of them are pretty uninteresting stories about Sussui's history, or some old tales and fables from around the same period. He does however, find a book detailing the construction of the Church of Helix- it might be a relevant read for him!

While Ziah determines his reading choices, Leaf helps Nia mount a spider. The cyanette seems rather pleased with herself once she's mounted the spider.

NIA: Aw yeah!
NIA: Let's go, spider! To the horizon we ride!

Nia dramatically points forward. The spider remains still. Nia remains pointing forward, a gentle sweat rolling down her forehead.

NIA: ...
NIA: How do you normally do this? Everyone makes it look easy.
NIA: So did that old TV show about riding spiders or somethin'.

Nia keeps fruitlessly commanding the spider to move forward, striking a whole array of dramatic poses. The spider seems rather confused, and moderately distressed at how loud Nia is being.

Arthur ascends to the roof. He ends up meeting with Mari, who's still busy fiddling with a console, thinking about how to track / save Maria. She suddenly snaps to attention once Arthur begins talking, turning around.

MARI: Oh hey, a new person.
MARI: How the hell do these people keep arriving here, anyway?

Arthur asks exactly what the hell is going on here.

MARI: Uh, so this thic- erm, tall chick here named Venia, has a sister named Maria. Maria, is... up there.

Mari points towards the horizon, where a Spiralfloof can be seen. Maria's like a tiny speck on it from this distance.

MARI: Also, I'm Mari. No relation to Maria.
MARI: Welcome to Sussui, I guess. Weird planet, with lots of tree people n' gorilla.
MARI: I'd explain exactly what the hell is going on here, but according to my sorta-sister Chloe, Venia here is really good at exposition.
MARI: ...Then again, we have more pressing matters, like trying to make sure her sister doesn't meteor into the planet or something.
MARI: You look... science-y. Any ideas?

...It hasn't dawned on Mari that an alchemist might not really be useful here. Still, maybe he can do something?

<THE CARAVAN, ROUND THREE>
North: The rebels have arrived in full! The Legion around here is mostly wiped out, so odds are you could convince those who remain into helping you so that they don't get beaned by the Rebels, but that might prove to be difficult. Anyway, just focus on removing that remaining Shield Generator, and picking off the Rebels as they charge you!

Center: COMPLICATIONS. The Husk has arrived for unknown reasons, and he'll... well, he probably doesn't actually hit hard enough to tear you in half, but he's certainly a massive threat! His HP pool is incredibly high, and he has a rather potent healing move... so I'd suggest ignoring him for now! Also, Maria's floated into the field while riding Cushion. Protect her- otherwise, Venia will be pissed. Or just really sad and mopey. One of the two.

South: The Naclestial has arrived for his daily appearance! Stomp him out of existence! Just watch out for his new brand of minions, the Saltlings! If they're not dealt with, you might need to deal with say... salt copies of Wyvern, who'd certainly be a butt to deal with! Also watch out for the approaching Cinders- there's quite a few of them, and they're stronger in groups! Area attacks are your friend here.

Oh nooooo

Venia ninja's Echoss's obligatory instant post to listen to Mari's advice and just lay down for a second, trying her damndest to ignore the illusory Maria and the new Illusory faceless Nias that were facing her down.

"Just close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths, Venia."

"A failure is what you are. I thought you cared for your sweet little angel."

"Count to three. Deep breaths."

"Venny, falling d<0>wn was really hurty."

"One. Inhale. Exhale."

"Isn't this what you killed me over?"

"Two. Inhale. Exhale."

"Let me be clear, any harm to come to my darling Princess is an offence worthy of death. You agree, right?"

"...Three."

She opened her eyes, and they were gone, for now.

"...Thanks, I needed that," Venia says, getting up to her feet. "... The Old Pass, huh? Great. Just great. Just as we were about to raid it... Let's hurry there, maybe we can, uhh, intercept her before the Caravan arrives. Err, and if not... Well. Well, we'll just have to beat them all down before they can even think of hurting her!" Venia shouts.

She then turns to Arthur. "... Oh, uh, hello there. Hi. Uh, uh, yeah. I'm, uh. I'm Venia Praefortis, uh, I guess I'm the unofficial leader-person? And, uh. Good expositor. Yeah. Uh. Short version: This is the planet of Sussui within the borders of the nation known as Locaa, which currently houses the multiversal apocalypse in the form of that gigantic sphere over there. Are you, uh, familiar with multiversal terms? Err, the point is, there's a high probability that thing exploding will kill everything. It is our job to collect four glyphs-of which we have two-in order to create a direct hole to the core of the Sphere and purify its prisoner, known as WARE, before he can annihilate reality. Complicated by like a million factors including that almost nothing and no-one here is a fan of us barging in," Venia says. "I can give a more detailed version if you're up to it."

If this is requested, well-Venia will this time skip directly narrating it and just have this narrative line dictate that Arthur is thoroughly schooled on the exact details and nature of the crisis, from the Chaos Butterfly to the Rebels, from Xavier to the Highchair, from Chaos to the Iti, and of course, on themselves, one and all, in thorough review, including various missing members. If not, well, this doesn't happen.

"... Oh, also, uh, small child-Maria is her name-is fleeing on the horizon via adorable skycat and her dad will literally kill us all for letting her die. Not an exaggeration, he's crazy," Venia says. "We, uh, we can't seem to catch her through a straight chase and no-one can put a portal up in the air to catch her, so our best bet is to intercept her and have someone be there for when she appears. Which, most likely, will be in the middle of a sight where an enemy caravan is coming through that we have to raid. Just, just wonderful,"

"With all that out of the way, uh, who're you?" Venia asks.

Shopping

Venia purchases Chaos's Miraculous Dartboard and Infinite Basic Crafting Materials for 750 Credits at the Temmie Shop. This boots Chaos past the 10,000 credits threshold for Mindscape Buyback.

She then heads to the Triangle Emporium and buys 5 each of Eterna Tea and Stardew Potion, plus one extra Distress Beacon, for a total of 950 credits. A lot, yes, but they're worth every penny.

Everground

Venia's Maid practices anachronism by already having a hand ready to receive Mustache Girl's cache of samples when she asks for the maid to take them, then approaching the Gazyer nest as Mustache Girl's plan starts unfolding.

The maid isn't gentle-as soon as the girl has successfully lobbed the Gazyer into the fire, she shoves the girl out of the room, and proceeds to pull out a gigantic machinegun from the depths of her corset. Somehow. Its twice as large as the maid, and she wields it like it was a feather. It is perhaps unsurprising that it fires boxing gloves at incredibly high speed-an artifical version of rapid fire fisticuffs, to say the least. When the Gazyer inevitably grows tired of being shot in the face with gloves and goes in on the Maid, the Maid casually grasps the Gazyer in midair, completely annulling its passives from sheer 'screw you,' and slams it into the fire again and again and again, and then when it stops squirming so much, slams it out of the fire so that its remains can be harvested for the sweet, semi-molten samples.

After that, she turns to Mustache Girl. "This is one of my constructs, and I'm Venia Praefortis, and I for one am getting just a little tiny bit tired of seeing children run about getting themselves into massive danger." A voice intones from the maid-the platinum-statuesque thing has not broken from its serene posture. "...Should we break the dam from above and flood that room once we're done? I'll be sure to seal it off."

Battle: The Caravan

Venia freaks out upon realizing exactly where Maria has turned up-right when everyone and their mothers decided to go rob a glyph, in the middle of the most intesnse part of the fight, with the Husk playing edgelord. The fact the Husk was almost certainly going to rob them of their hard work and make them work double time just for it was perhaps now the least of Venia's concerns, somehow.

"Focus. Focus! They need me, and those people down there will help her."

She spies the Scarlet getting close to Chloe. Scarlet 2, to be precise.

"Yo, fiery girl!" Venia screams. "Not to interrupt your fangirling but we're literally about to wrap up here, the only other glyph generator on this side of the caravan's done for. Howabout you help smash that up and we can go on with robbing the main glyph? I mean. You guys are two behind and you saw us totally crush the caravan, you think fighting us is gonna get you lot anywhere?... Oh, and I can totally convince Chloe to give you an autograph or something! Fair warning, she's the real deal but she'll probably be a bit awkward too."

Regardless of her response, Venia turns the machinegun towards the generator and fires two bullets at it, then turns her guns towards the oncoming Rebels, and fires a salvo of suppressing fire at M4, ruining the lives of some of the incoming scarlets by reducing their two most important stats, and their somewhat-less important other two stats. (Venia also applies Unify to Scarlet4.)

Her Whimsy flies to G13 and activates Fearsome Focus on Scarlet 1, slapping them with Ensnared4 and giving the Whimsy improved attack power next round. How does she perform this? She... Waves at the Scarlet and blows he a kiss. Adorable!

"Nia, Mari, fall back, fall back!" Venia shouts, obviously concerned at Nia's forwards position. "Chloe, uh... Those girls with the swords are. Like. Your fanclub. Yeah. Brace yourself!"

Small note but Chloe's service bottom slot hasn't been updated to reflect that it's on an 8 round cooldown.

Echoss's action takes place after Thina moves.

Battle Action:
Echoss turns around to look at the Floof Knights that he has been abruptly cornered by.
"Hello gentlemen, I'm assuming you're not willing to talk this out before I'm forced to clock you cold?"
He waits patiently for a moment while they presumably badmouth him for his proclamation. The freshly unloaded trebuchet right next to him probably doesn't help.
"Very well then. I tried."
Echoss moves to Q14 and promptly casts Pow Hammer as a bonus action on Floof Knight 1, stunning them into submission for the round.
He then casts shopping spree, causing a pile of 4 air element El-Ite knives to drop from the sky, one of which Echoss catches before yoinking the crystal bomb core out of his player-crafted inventory.
(somewhere else, Chaos has a mild sum of credits thrown at him for a Galeforce crystal)
The crystal bomb flies into the face of Floof Knight 2, which is shortly followed by the El-Ite Knife dealing EVEN MORE damage thanks to Elblight on top of a rather crippling weakness.
Before the Floof Knight can respond they're shot in the side of the head by an angry soldier Nia, and Echoss's splinter spider is rounding the bend to S14 and OH GODMODDER WHY DOES THAT SPIDER HAVE A KNIFE
The Splinter Spider attacks Floof Knight 2 and then stabs it, extremely pleased with having performed the maneuver without thumbs.

One of Echoss's butterflies lands on Chloe's shoulder. "Ah, Miss Elem if I could have some assistance. All boasting aside I don't think I can take both of them on my own."

Unflavored:
Echoss moves to Q14 and casts a bonus action mod Pow Hammer on Floof Knight 1.
Then he casts SHOPPING SPREE, purchasing 4 Air element El-Ite Knives.
He then chucks the crystal bomb shell (loaded with a galeforce crystal purchased from Chaos) right at Floof Knight 2 followed up by one of the Air El-Ite Knives.
Echoss's Chibi Nia then shoots Floof Knight 2.
His Splinter Spider then moves to S14 and chomps the floof knight, before applying it's own air element El-Ite knife to the floof knight (or the ranger if the Spiralfloof went down already)
As a catch since I seem to be getting a lot of crits lately, if the floof knight is demounted, target the ranger. If the ranger is downed, target Floof Knight 1.

Echoss also asks for Chloe to help him out when her turn rolls around. Getting ambushed by sky knights is a bad time.

Overworld Action:
The minigolem in the spider observatory continues collecting bones. Exciting.

In the entry to Zone 4, another Minigolem walks up to the vein of plasteel and threatens to expound unto it at length how plasteel is a scientifically incorrect designator if it doesn't get into the inventory right now.
After the plasteel, in total fear of this threat despite being an inanimate object, does so. Echoss suddenly regains senses in the minigolem and wonders what the heck just happen. Distant shadowy giggling can be heard.

The minigolem then moves around to the deathcap mushrooms in the same room, carefully lifting them up out of the floor. How does he do this? Well simple, he lifts part of the floor up out of the floor, using geomancy to gently pick up the entire pieces and slot the deathcaps into the inventory without plucking them at all.

NPC Services:
From the ether comes a request:
Ziah would like Entrophies and Entropic Bio-masses from Chloe's Scavenging service. Echoss relays this somewhat OOC-ly resource request to Chloe, and gears up to assist her with it. The Harvest Golem will also be used.

The shadowy figure (finally fed up with being called Echoss? even though they very clearly are not Echoss and have been labeled as such from the beginning) sidles on up with a stack of credits.
First thing to be purchased is 100 credits spent on a double duplication. The Hammer of Banning +2 and Snowball Storm now both have a second copy! That are not to be shown to Maria under any circumstances.

40 more credits are spent upon upgrading these duplicates to T2!

Nettle, despite her thorny front, seems blush slightly at the compliment from Omorika. This is quickly suppressed, until there is no trace of her losing composure.

NETTLE: It's... a technique modelled after one of Acacia's own, then modified for my own specialties.
NETTLE: If I could surpass her in ability, then I could be satisifed.

~~

Meanwhile, in the past, Nettle finally responds to Auth.

NETTLE: It's a gift from my brother. He gave it to me before I left the city.

She looks questioningly at Auth.

NETTLE: ...So what if it has an eye? It's just a normal staff.
NETTLE: I use for it hiking- sometimes for stabbing if it
gorillaes me off enough.

She crosses her arms defensively.

~~

Nettle kitbashes a new Throwing Rock together. Nice.

~~

Nettle moves to P9, uses Forest Storm into Root Domain (Bonus Action) on Spitter2, then prepares a second Upheaval at L14.

~~

Toast spends a good minute or two deliberating on her first move.

"I'll move this one~... here?"

Eventually, she moves a rook past her line of pawns and right next to Marron's line of pawns. She doesn't realise that rooks can't go through other units. Play continues like this, probably. Or maybe Marron calls her out on it.

Boshi can only look onward as Maria descends from the sky. This is bad. Very bad. Unlike the Hat-Bow-Stache Trio, Maria has zero fighting experience, and has the chance of living in a warzone to match. And unlike literally everyone else, for whatever reason, she can't understand him. She's not going to survive this...

...not unless someone does something about it.

He turns to Leaf, who would likely be able to get the Spiralfloof Maria's riding on to follow her lead.
"(Hey you! Yeah, you on the Mollusk! Make sure to get that child out of here! She's practically defenseless over there!)"

He then moves to (H7) and performs a Hard Slam on the nearby Morph.

---nothing really happens to the other two, so cut to mu---

"Hold these."

MU slides the Samples she acquired to Venia's Maid, and prepares to 1v1 the Gazyer, even if it means getting mulched in the process. Thankfully, she can rewind time if it looks like she's in a pinch.

Anyway, she whips out a Yggcrawler Blade and a dose of Widow's Venom. She applies the venom to the blade, being careful not to accidentally get some on herself, pointing it downward to let the venom flow along the blade naturally, but fast enough to be able to defend herself against the Gazyer should it strike.

She waits as long as necessary for the Gazyer to make an attempt on her life. From there she proceeds to slide under the beast, shoving the pointed end of the blade right up through it, trying to ignore the flames brushing up against her face.

Knowing that she absolutely just pissed it off beyond belief, she runs back into the burning Iti Nest, and pulls out a Jotun Arm. She awaits for the Gazyer to come in, before she grabs it (or just punches the gorilla) with the Jotun Arm and lobs it into the fire, basically planning to run it in circles until it inevitably dies.

Once she's done, MU heads back out of the burning nest, not wanting to suffer a heatstroke by remaining in that part of the cave. She takes the time to talk to Venia's maid.

"S-sorry about that thing; I tried to avoid hitting it, I swear!"
"...Wait who are you? I don't remember seeing you..."

--------------------
"...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

==RP==
Arthur responds to Mari. “Personally, I had something of a lab accident that seems to have teleported me here... (I wonder if I could replicate that.) And as for your question -- I'm an alchemist and normally would have a selection of useful potions on me, and I know a few formulas that would help -- one to make something lighter, another to make something heavier, and so on -- but unfortunately, I don't carry those potions with me in my lab, and without the time and the proper ingredients to brew a new batch I can't really help, sorry to say.

He turns to Venia. “...Well, that's complex, and worrying. I'll take a more detailed explanation, yes -- it seems prudent to know as much as possible here.

Post-exposition, he seems... a little wrung out.

Well, that's... if possible, more worrying than the short explanation. I suppose as well as I'm here, I may as well help out. I like existence, it's where I keep my lab. For that matter, the name's Arthur -- full name Arthur Aredan, I suppose. I'm an alchemist, and though I would say I run a potion shop and general alchemy business, I currently don't have access to it, so that's somewhat irrelevant. I'm cut off from my supply of ingredients, but there seems to be a profusion of plant life and other such things nearby, and I suppose there's some sort of group storage? Assuming I'm going to join you all, I feel the need to equip myself and perhaps brew up a few simple mixtures to have on hand.

==BATTLE==
Arthur does a few things.

Knowing that there's someone in the line of fire down there, he focuses on the power of his new hat and pulls Brute1 to K10. Then, seeing that some Iti have appeared down in the avalanche, he decides to block a chokepoint and thin the ranks; he moves to D11, casts Noxious Plume on F13 to keep everyone down there from coming up unless they want to be really badly poisoned, and then takes out one of the mini-airships he bought from the store using Shopping Spree last turn, as well as a few pinches of elemental crystal dust, sprinkling the Water-aspected dust over its weapons. He tosses the flare corresponding to the airship over to J16 and watches the ship bombard the area, then retreats back to E10.

Summary:
Singing Maw Brute 1 to K10, move D9>E10>D11, cast Noxious Plume on F13, then use an Airstrike Flare, element changed to Water, on J16 and retreat to E10.
