Brutishace notices that his Necrotic Arcana Pistol's damage remains unscaled to his INT! He'll have to hope this gets fixed before he heads into combat.

Speaking of which, Brutishace joins the fight at The Caravan (South), spawns in at U9, moves to R10, and zaps the fourth Archer with Twin Jolts. If the first bolt would bring them down, he targets the second Brute with it instead- but if someone already targeted them, then a good Plan C would be the second Splinter Spitter.

Laranei, eager to burn things, joins the Northern Caravan Battle!
Should've put some fireproofing on those shield generators.

Spawning in at E13, she heads over to I16, then casts Fury on herself!

Also she uses her 3 Skillpoints, putting them all into SPC!

Alright. First things first, I should have done this quite some time ago... Skillpoints. Let's keep it simple, aye?
Cal: +2 STR. +1 SPC.
Ver: +3 SPC.

Now then. Let the scenes commence.

Verdana, being where he is, is in prime position to notice Venia's rather loud outburst of concern. He takes a look outside, eyes carefully tracking where exactly the newly-dubbed Cushion is flying off to, then turns back just in time to see Venia leave his line of sight. He can definitely tell what her worries are, and so hops off the wall.

"Alright..."

He inhales. He exhales. He promptly acquires a voice loud enough to shake the contents of the house a little once he yells out to the occupants, having absolutely no idea where people are within.

"NO NEED TO WORRY! IM GOING AFTER MARIA!"

He proceeds to step out onto the roof, quickly flicking through his recent memories to track where Cushion was flying and extrapolate from there where Maria might be, then rockets off and away from the house. His flight speed is pretty incredible, given the circumstances, yet with the generous starting time allowed to Cushion, catching up will take a while. In the middle of his flight,

Somewhere high above the surface of the planet, Verdana briefly glances downwards. He notices two things of importance - one, he's leaving behind a rather obvious glowy red trail of light, which sort of makes him look like a shooting star or comet of some kind, at least in his opinion. Two, he's... really high up. He gains a worried expression, not for his own safety but for Maria's. After all, at this height it's going to be quite cold, but more importantly, the higher up one goes, the thinner the atmosphere gets. And the thinner the atmosphere gets, the worse it becomes for any kind of being that needs to breathe. Last he checked, Maria probably breathes...

"...Need to hurry."

He closes his eyes as something oddly reminiscent of a Pulse Jet pushes out from his back, along with a pair of wings like he manifested earlier for Leaf. Verdana's face seems to cover itself with a flight mask of some kind, or maybe it's just his normal medical garb, then he suddenly blasts his way across the sky even quicker than before. A quick look around the landscape below reveals no sign of Maria, but the clouds are still above him...

Some part of him is fairly certain that if Maria were above the clouds, she'd be in danger. And given he'd said he was going after her, if something bad were to happen...

"...Venia would never forgive me..."

Verdana pauses for a moment to let his own words sink in, then takes one last sweeping look below the cloud layer just to be absolutely sure. Once that inevitably finds nothing particularly of note, the pulse jet he manifested earlier vanishes back into his body, then he banks hard upwards to push up through the cloud layer and take a look up there...

Battle: Calibri pulls out a phone to call someone for a moment. He frowns, putting it away...

"Right then. Proxy..."

A low resolution copy of Verdana appears at C10, moves to G10, then Newton Hammers Blade Dancer 1. Unless that would kill their corpse.

Alright. Time to make a post.

Battle Action -- Thina

First off, for the theme, Thina sets both of the 40% resists on her armor to poison.

Next, Thina joins the North caravan battle, popping up out of the snow at E11. Then she runs into the woods at H10, activates the Megu Patch, and poofs tile L10 with a boosted Noxious Plume.

Now, I'm really bad with keeping up with RP.

RP -- Wilson

Wilson does a little cat stretch, yawning.

"I... suppose. Omnivorous, so pretty much whatever. Unless it would kill me. But I dunno. If I can survive poison typed damage, surely by now I could survive chocolate. Maybe shouldn't try it though. I don't suppose you have any strawberries, do you?

Then he realizes something he possibly should have realized sooner.

"Wait, forgive me for asking, but do you eat anything yourself?"

Though, he does seem interested in the idea of cookies and / or meeting Marron. ... I mean, I'm not an expert in fox biology, but I think he'd be able to eat something wheat based, so long as it doesn't have chocolate or nuts or stuff like that.

Ziah seems slightly confused at the initial blunt reception, but doesn't mind too much. However, this does give him the idea that Marron may be a little hesitant to actually do anything with him, especially if Toast is around, so he decides to do something… questionable. A small test; Marron would never know. Ziah activates Focus Energy, to see if he might be able to get lucky and get the answer that he's looking for.

Ziah: I was wondering… maybe you'd like to hang out?
Ziah: I-If you're not busy, of course.
Ziah: I thought it could be cool to do a bit of archery practise.
Ziah: I've still got a lot to learn, but we can make it fun…

He grins faintly, throwing his hands in his pocket.

Ziah: How about a bit of friendly competition? Ziah: Both of us go to a more secluded area, one of the forests maybe, and see if we can take out some Iti, or particularly angry wildlife.
Ziah: We'll stick together, of course. If anything goes wrong, we'll both be there.
Ziah: Additionally, it means neither of us can cheat.
Ziah: I think it'd be fun. What do you say?

Ziah… waits for what Marron says, hoping his luck can help him out a bit.

-=+=-

Leaf nods with a soft, nervous giggle.

Leaf: L-Looks like it wants more than just my head…
Leaf: I'm going to try to soothe it, but if it attacks, um… yeah.
Leaf: I'd usually be confident in doing this, but considering my powers are faulty…

Leaf sighs, making eye contact… ahem. Leaf picks two of the Widow's eyes, and makes eye contact with them. She holds her left palm out, curling her fingers down, her right hand held on her hip in a fist, palm facing up. Not breaking eye contact, Leaf begins to whisper again. Glowing green particles somewhat resembling large spores materialize around Leaf, beginning to quickly orbit Leaf in two glowing rings which cross over each other in an X shape. Her expression becomes… slightly playful. She gives a small smile.

Leaf: Submit.

-=+=-

Amaranth gives a small nod, speaking with a timid tone.

Amaranth: W-Well yeah, I'm part of the Spherebreakers...
Amaranth: I don't really do much of the fighting. I'm a half decent mage, but I'm more of a pacifist.
Amaranth: I do more of the behind the scenes stuff, helping out where I can.
Amaranth: People um… don't seem to like me all that much as a result of my mischievous past...

Amaranth's voice drops a little, imitating the hushed tones of regret, or sadness.

Amaranth: B-But I have changed, even if some people don't think so.

Amaranth clears his throat, giving a small smile and a nod.

Amaranth: It'd be a pleasure to have you on the team, though~
Amaranth: I think everyone here has a speciality…
Amaranth: What would yours be, if you don't mind my asking.

Amaranth waits for a response from the new Chairian friend.

-=+=-

+4 STR

Leaf hops into the Caravan (Center) fight at C7 and move to D6, attempting to tame the WMollusk. If successful, she mounts it. Either way, she moves to G5 and casts Sap Bomb on K4, K5, K7 and I9.

Wyvern +2s his DEF and… +1s his RES, I guess? He swaps out all his current spells for Fury, Riposte and Scale Burst, which is at the bottom of my sheet. He also, if possible, changes his special for Snowflake Memories, again, on the bottom or my sheet.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17BH...it?usp=drivesdk

Wyvern spawns in at the South at U10, taking cover at S11 while he buffs up. Wyvern applies Fury to himself, then using an Evolve Strain.

Candy:

Stuff and things happen. Maybe? There were no witnesses, after all.

Meat:

At some unspecified point in time, whenever the Rosen Observatory Outpost expedition is taking place, Chara loots an entire chest of spider eye jars. This is normal.

At some further unspecified point in time, Chara returns to set up ambush for the caravan battle. Or did...

| Today's d31 roll: 14 (she/her) |

...she leave a Splinter to accompany the others? Even I don't know. I'm the most confused one here, even.

Whatever the case might be, she pounces off a tree overlooking the central part of the caravan, gracefully soaring like an admittedly disoriented seagull onto S12. The Corrosive Mix is already smeared over her knives when she moves to R15 and sends them flying at the Extinguisher. Unless she is a spectacular failure at it again, they should slash him across the shoulder region, swirl around, and then cut a nice line across the Firefighter's arm.

Further remembering the fact that a mean looking dude/tte is sitting all snuggly on a big honkin' spider at N14, and probably moving to attack her, she thinks back to her previous Splinter's actions in the Spider's Roost. Acting on that memory, she pulls out the Elemental Blaster again, sets it to Extra Crispy, and prays to whatever lies out there that she doesn't miss.

<ROUND ONE-HUNDRED SIXTY-SEVEN>

The universe braces for stats!

The New Stat(us) Quo
Letsid: +1 MMP, +9 RES, +1 SPC, -5 MHP, -5 STR, -1 INT. So much minmaxing. It's kinda annoying. Also, as a note, your percentage of missing HP has remained the same.
Summa: +2 MHP, +1 STR, +1 SKI. Rage Aura Amulet equipped over the Cardboard Amulet.
Terry: +1 RES. Fun fact: I'm only 45 minutes into the update at this point, and that's because I've been inflicted with (Confusion10, 3). Or something like that.
Hex: +1 SKI. Not CRT. SKI.
Nezira: Respec. Character rotated into Arthur! The implementation was probably smooth: mind taking a look for me?
Nidra: +3 SKI.
Packo: +2 STR, +1 AGI, +1 SPC, -1 DEF. Eviscerator's Garments equipped! Let's get this bread!
Laranei: +3 SPC.
Calibri: +2 STR. +1 SPC.
Verdana: +3 SPC.
Leaf: +4 STR. An interesting choice.
Wyvern: +2 DEF, +1 RES. Spells rotated. Special also rotated. Some aspects of your special (scaling, mostly) and custom spell (scaling, again) have been modified. Mostly nerfs, unfortunately.

That... took some time.

Maria goes flying with Cushion. While it's certainly cute, it's obviously terrifying for poor Venia, who's little sister goes flying off into the air upon a cloud of fluffy. Cushion makes a "whoooaaaaa" noise as he ascends. Venia goes to contact Mari, asking if she can chase her down. She shrugs.

MARI: Uh, I guess I could chase after her.
MARI: I can normally fly pretty quickly, but the Thymefield's been putting a stop to my abilities.
MARI: I can sorta... slow fall, though. Should be enough.
MARI: Let's see what I can do.

Mari steps outside, tapes two small jet boosters to her legs, then begins to soar upward towards Maria. It doesn't take long for her fuel to give out though, but it's enough to get her level with Maria and Cushion! She attempts to grab Maria... but Cushion suddenly drops down a few meters. This causes Mari to soar right over the princess's head. Mari begins to drift slowly back down to the ground.

MARI: cushion you gorillaerrrrrrrrrrrr

Mari ends up touching down near Venia about two minutles later- just long enough to see Verdana rocket on by when it's time for his post.

MARI: Okay, so maaaaybe your sister's gonna float up to the stratosphere or something.
MARI: But that'll... be an important lesson!
MARI: Just like swords n' stuff.
MARI: We're great teachers.

MARI: ...
MARI: For real though I am really, really sorry-

Mari is cut off by the sound of a rapidly ascending chair bursting through a window for no real reason other than style points. Chaos is sitting upon a probably wooden chair, the legs rapidly growing in size, allowing him to zip upwards. It's not quite as fast as Mari, but he should be fast enough to go and catch up to Maria eventually.

While Maria's busy enjoying the open air (and the sight of a rapidly approaching chair), Venia's Maid heads into the Everground! Using vacuum technology, she straight up slays the vein, harvesting 26 Plasteel. Quite the stack of metal! Maybe it'll help her kill that Chime over there.

Speaking of Chimes, Mustache Girl strongarms the Chime. Wielding a Jotun Arm, she smashes the beast's gigantic meaty fist into the Chime several times, killing it. 4 Samples free itself from the beast's corpse, flinging themselves at Mustache Girl. She also uses a Giant Spoon against the Observer, trying to make it lok at itself. It doesn't seem to quite care, and pesters Mustache Girl for (1) damage, anyway.

This minor scrape is fortunately not enough to stop Mustache Girl from heading to the right. There, she finds... absolutely nothing good. An underground Iti nest. That's unpleasant. Might wanna break out the molotovs.

Hex performs a Vault Robbery! Or at least, he would if he didn't have metaknowledge! Specifically, Mustache Girl sealed up the Vault because there was an entropic eyestalk monster in the hole. Basically, doing what you've listed is almost certainly suicide, and quite an expensive suicide at that! I mean, you can still do it, though. It's just probably not smart.

Anyway, another Hex goes off to kick some totems. He does. They're apparently rather resistant to simply being kicked... or at least they would be, if he didn't have Aeragaskates. A few of them are slain. He then upgrades the Arcane Angler into the Enchanter's Angler with 2 Plasteel, an Entrophy, and an Amphi Aura Extract. Is this a good investment? Who knows. He then feeds Chaos 5 Credits, obtaining a Food Packet, which he uses to go fishing at Sequoia's Lake.

He manages to catch 3 Barkfin and 2 Shellfish. He can't quite tell through this text-based interface, but it seems that the Shellfish are Tier 4 for some reason. He also manages to catch a Plastic Chair, somehow.

Some guy (also known as Arthur) teleports into the House! When he asks if anyone's there, he's met with a puppet.

ETTE: (Hi! I'm Ette! I'm a puppet!)
ETTE: (Welcome to... the Treason Club?)
ETTE: (Except I think we're called the Spherebreakers now, so it's one of the two!)

ETTE: (Uh, I don't think I've ever given one of these introductions before, but there's this lady on the roof with funny hair who should be able to explain things.)
ETTE: (Her name is Mari, and she does science stuff!)
ETTE: (Just up the staircase there! Can't miss it!)

...Probably not the best first person to meet. It seems that the puppet is currently pre-occupied with a fennec fox, or something.

Toast is apparently unaware of what a board game is. Marron is properly confused at the sorceress's lack of knowledge.

MARRON: You... don't know what a board game is?
MARRON: Geez, it's like you've been living on an entirely different planet...
MARRON: ...W-Wait, you have! Right, right.
MARRON: Basically, they're like... games you play on a table, usually against another person. There's a lot of different games, and they're generally pretty calm...
MARRON: Like... have you ever heard of Chess? That's a board game.
MARRON: A board game I'm pretty gorilla at, but odds are you haven't played it either, so we'd be pretty even.
MARRON: It's pretty simple, too! I could teach you.

While the two continue to debate what to do next, Nettle requests a certain item from Marron. There's no real in-character justification (as the post notes), so she wordlessly slaps the Natural Domain together for 100 Credits. I assume you want the single piece, anyway. If you do want infinite copies, just ask!

Echoss... really doesn't do all that much today huh. What he does do however, is spend some time quick-crafting some items: a Fragapple Grenade and a Searing Bomb. He also "entires" a Rotting Window with 3 units of Fresh Pork. It is unclear what it means to "entire" a Rotting Widow, but it sure is enticed by the pork! It is lured into an entirely different cave, that being...

...Well, you should probably pick a cave, or otherwise I'll probably make it magically appear in the "cave" in Zone 0, which is that room you're currently carving out. He also opts to perform some industrial sabotage on the Rose Cult's disposal maws, throwing bombs into each of them. This consumes a Simple Fabric, an Ashen Crystal, and a Searing Powder.

The individual explosions aren't too big, but they're enough to destroy the maws themselves... and apparently, to undo whatever enchantment funneled their meals into a void. The void promptly becomes undone, and a torrent of spider bones and other various carcasses flood the room- gigantic piles of death and bone. If Nana hadn't left the room already, she's probably be freaking out. If Chloe was in this room, she'd probably faint.

go show Chloe it'll be funny

Auth chats with Nettle, but that's officially out of my jurisdiction to respond to now! He also attempts to force a surrender from the Caravan, but it seems the collective panic level is too high for them to properly respond to his offer. Or maybe you'll get a more proper response once we actually get around to processing the battle. Who knows?

Verdana takes off to the skies in a daring rescue attempt! He's at least several times faster than Chaos's rapidly ascending chair, and he also flies up past the gently descending Mari on her way down.

MARI: friggin' showoff
MARI: with your un-nerfed flight abilities
MARI: total bullgorilla mrgrgr

It does seem that his attempt is... unsuccessful. Fortunately, the Spiralfloof is probably not equipped for too high of an altitude, so odds are it's only just above the clouds, if anything. It's also incredibly warm and fluffy, so Maria shouldn't be too threatened by wind chill and the like.

Wilson notes his food preferences, then asks Ette if the party has any strawberries. Also if she's capable of eating anything.

ETTE: (I dunno if we have strawberries!)
ETTE: (I could probably buy some from Chaos, but I think he's busy right now.)
ETTE: (Do you know Chaos? He's a red glitchy dummy. Sis doesn't like him.)

ETTE: (As for food... I can't eat anything.)
ETTE: (...I actually really miss food. Food's good.)
ETTE: (Don't worry though- my cooking's still really good! Sis tastes a lot of what I make for me, and she's an expert chef, so it usually turns out really well!)

Ette toddles towards the kitchen, thinking about what sort of cookies she might make.

ETTE: (Ooh, maybe we could do oatmeal raisin cookies!)
ETTE: (Sis really likes them! I think she likes all cookies, actually.)
ETTE: (She doesn't know why Chaos insists they're the "spawn of the demon" and things like that.)
ETTE: (Some people have no taste!)
ETTE: (Like me! I can't taste things!)

It's in the kitchen where Wilson will likely meet Marron. She seems a bit pre-occupied talking with Toast at the moment, so odds are he'll need to introduce himself.

Ziah asks Marron if she's willing to hang out. She shakes her head a quick "no".

MARRON: I'm not really interested in shooting things at the moment, actually...
MARRON: I just kinda wanna have a bit of calm with Toast.
MARRON: You can stick around if you wanna like, have some cookies or some gorilla, but yeah; I'm staying here.
MARRON: Also, this totally sounds like a ploy to shiv me to death in the middle of the woods.

...Turned down. That's what many would call an "oof" nowadays. Back in Zone 4, even with the impending threat of a caravan raid, Leaf attempts to soothe a rather angry spider, telling it to submit. RNG rolls, and fortunately for her, the spider is easily calmed down. Nia claps.

NIA: Hey, nicely done!
NIA: So... can we ride it?
NIA: ...I mean, maybe you ride the scary one. I'm pretty sure I'd probably kill myself riding it somehow.

Nia wonders how best to mount the more friendly spider. Does she just sit upon its back? Does she need a saddle? Or is she meant to surf on it, or something? Spider riding is hard.

Chara loots a box. She pulls out 200 Preserved Spider Eyes, as well as 20 Spider Meat. It's... disgusting. What are these eyes being used for, anyway? Maybe she'll find out.

<THE CARAVAN, ROUND TWO>
North: Pretty good progress so far! It seems like the Rebels are going to be coming in next round, so perhaps you should adjust your strategy accordingly? Focus the Chairians to the south, or perhaps move up to prepare for some Rebel-based action? Either way, it'd be smart to see if you can get the Rebels to help you indirectly- they'll attack you and the Legion, so see if you can abuse that!

Center: Not many casualties in the middle for the Chairians. It'll be hard to keep up once their reinforcements arrive, so I'd suggest putting out all the stops to ensure that there's a more manageable amount of Chairians by then!

South: So, Nettle's about to cause the biggest massacre this side of the Pass. Of course, this won't defeat every Chairian in the area, but it'll certainly do a lot! See if you can move some targets into range, or perhaps focus Chairians outside of that area! Just keep an eye out for Betrayers- don't let them nail you with The Reveal!

((Again for the DOP post above. Woweeeeeeee.))

Irongutta gets up from the ground, celebrating the huge explosion and subsequent collapse of the entire mountainside.

"WAHAHA! Mork's teef, that was a proppa explosion! My ears are still ringin' from it."

He then realized the Caravan wasn't reduced to a pile of splinters. He seemed disappointed. "Zog it all, I blew Da Mountainsmasha a bit early! Guess I'll just 'ave to take note of that and clean up the scraps myself!"

Irongutta spawns in the Northern Caravan Battle at E11, moves to F8, and uses SHOCKwave on Fighter1!

Summa spawns in at S11, and marches up to O11. She makes eye contact with the Devout a tile away from her.

"Hi."

Tsar'ina raises her hand, lifting the Devout up in the air.

"Bye."

With a throwing motion, Summa sends the Devout out to max distance with Skeletal Toss. She snickers a bit, seeing the poor fella fly so far away.

(Post relocated to be below last minute posts for the previous round)

Okay, it wasn't supposed to be 'entire' it was meant to be 'steal'.
Echoss just stole the rotting widow, it's not on sussui anymore.

Echoss and Summa

Summa had gone around the house, exploring and learning about how things worked in the Thymefield. Admittedly, she had spied on a few of the other Spherebreakers, seeing how they crafted their weapons and items. They used many methods, but somehow always came out with some wacky craft at the end. Feeling that she was falling behind on creating items of her own, she looked around for the person who had taught her how to cook. Crafting, cooking, was there really a difference? Perhaps, perhaps not. After finding one of Echoss’ golden butterflies, she felt inclined to poke at the thing, and see if he were to come out of it, like some genie in a lamp.
As Summa moves to poke it the butterfly blurs and transforms into one of the small Echoss holograms from before. He gives a polite head nod to her in acknowledgement. "Hello Miss Tsar'ina, did you want something?"
”Holy M- how in the world do you know when I approach?”
Echoss chuckles. "Well I would think that if I can see well enough to pilot these things in swarms I can tell when someone's coming to talk to me, yes? The butterflies still have eyes."
”I have to admit, that is some pretty good eyesight… Anyways, though I do not want to make a precedent of asking you for things, I do have a certain material I want.”
Echoss smiles softly. "It is fine to ask, we're on the same team after all. It's best to help each other. As for material, what do you require?"
Tsar’ina tried her best to not make eye contact, feeling a bit nervous from just having to ask for something from someone she hasn’t fully become friends with. She pulled out the Silver Maria, and pointed at the blade and the “core” of the guard. ”So, you see these two parts, yes?”
"Yes, I do."
”Both of these components are made from the same material. They’re both silver, but something I realized from being here is that your silver doesn’t exactly work the same way my people’s silver does. While yours is some useless, glorified currency no offense, ours is able to alter itself when it comes into contact with magic. It’s like a tamer version of gold. Oh, god forbid you use any magic around gold...”
Echoss's head tilts. "Well, silver does have a number of uses, though most are chemical and industrial in nature… Nevermind, that's not important right now. In what way does your world's silver alter itself upon contact with magic? There's a couple of different equivalents I can think of."
Summa tightly grips her hands, using magic to light her own hand on fire. She puts her hand near the core of the Silver Maria, which sucks the fire right off, spiraling until hitting the center. With this, the entire blade of the Silver Maria catches ablaze, a scorching sight to behold with such a large weapon. Summa repeats this process a few more times, showing the metal’s capabilities. The Silver Maria’s blade goes from being lit on fire, to becoming engulfed with electricity (a sort of electricity Summa is very careful with), to transforming into a nearly unbreakable form of ice, and even becoming a deep, dark blade, absorbing light around it much like a blackhole. It was certainly a… Strange type of material. ”Will that suffice?”
Echoss hums and nods. "Yes it does, thank you. I do not know if I will get a material that has the exact properties, and probably can't completely verify that given I doubt you are willing to allow such an important item to yourself to be disassembled for that purpose (nor should you). Manahold Silver does much the same as this however, and you are in luck as I recently acquired the ability to briefly acquire materials from outside of Sussui. You will find it in the inventory in a little bit, is there anything else you wanted?"
”Keep this between you and me, but I need materials to make a training dummy, if possible. That’s all.”
"I think we have all that you would need already, if not finding more would be rather easy. But as you wish, good luck Miss Tsar'ina."
”Thank you, Echoss. I will try to repay you for this someday. Be safe.”
Echoss nods, and the hologram turns back into a butterfly as elsewhere, Chloe's crafting service is engaged...

Battle action:
(TAKES PLACE AFTER VENIA'S ACTION)
Echoss walks over to Q13 and puts a hand on Chloe's shoulder.
"Don't worry Miss Elem, the spider doesn't seem to have much interest in you. And should that change the rest of us will deal with it.
You're safe. Or, uh, as much as you can be in the middle of a warzone I suppose.
"
Echoss proceeds to set down the Furniture Flinger at R13 and rummages through the inventory.
"Hmm... I never thought I'd say this but it appears our current selection of furniture isn't weaponized enough."
Eventually he settles on firing a Banquet Table with the hopes of splash damage and launches it right into the middle of the southern formation of Legion soldiers. This is followed by a tornadopetal bomb and the splinter spider coming down to nibble the Stormrobe who arrives next to Echoss's cover's giblets.
Echoss, looking at the spider and feeling kind of bad for sending it up close to get stomped by the gaiawalls, tosses it a salve. The spider promptly eats it.
"That's not how you... *sigh* serves me right I suppose."

Unflavored:
Echoss waits for Venia to act, and then takes his action.
Echoss moves to Q13 and uses his free Player-Crafted-Inventory use to set down the Furniture Flinger at R13.
Using his full action on the furniture flinger, Echoss launches a banquet table. If the banquet table has splash on it, he lands it at L14. If it doesn't have splash, he fires it at the Yggcrawler Rider.
After his main action, he lobs a tornado bomb to L14, scattering the 4 units (and hopefully setting the shield generator down where the gas cloud can camp it with poison application.) and dealing decent damage to Storm Robe 2 and the Rider.
His Splinter Spider then eats a Salve before doing one of two things
If the Storm Robe is Down/Dead (hopefully not Dead) they move to N11 and nom the Maiorum with their basic attack.
If the Storm Robe hasn't been Downed yet, they instead more down to O13 and nom THEM with their basic attack.

The Chibi Nia, making 3:< faces at having been forgotten in the flavor text portion, takes a quick shot at Maiorum 2.

Overworld actions:
Echoss walks over to the portal used to upgrade Chloe's Scavenging Service, annoyed at having failed to properly stabilize the internal bottling problem. He smashes the Perfectly Generic Bottle on it, and through the power of T4 Unique Items and somethingsomething designed specifically to prevent the bottlepocalypse repeating it magically cures the problem. This was gonna be an actual craft post but we're past the point of T4 unique items being useful.

Echoss's butterfly watches with a blank expression as the room spills with spider bones.
""Well that's unfortunate."
The minigolem walks over and plucks the dagger from the cultist's hands, and then begins scooping up spider bones, eventually putting them into the inventory on account of having nowhere better to place them.

Echoss gathers up a very, very large amount of cobblestone and dirt, with a little bit of clay to go with. Lots of it. He assembles them all together, packing it into a tight ball that looks very intiimidating. Finally, to make sure that it remains stable and strong enough to actually deal damage he adds in some stone brick blocks and clumps the whole mass down in a compacted sphere.
Then he paints it black.
Consumable Crafted! Bowling Boulder: Deals Crushing damage in a wide laser specific distance, can only hit 4 or 5 enemies before it breaks.

NPC jobs:
Chloe's service is requested to grab some T5 "Molian Silver"

Next round notes:
Use harvest golem on Chloe's service to get Ziah some entropic mats.
Remind tazz to do more Maria upgrades.

Boshi waits for Leaf to tame the Splinter Spitter before he does anything. After, he moves to (I7), uses the hand cannon to do an action at (G9), then Phase Shifts with the Torrent Claymore.

After that series of actions, the Claymore should be at (G9) and Boshi at (G8).

He then waits for both Hex and Verdana to be out of the range of the Claymore if aimed to the SouthEast. Once they both are (or are both somehow still there by the end of the player phase), Boshi fires the Torrent Claymore to the SouthEast.

He then uses a charge of Yggdrasil's Vessel before backing off to (F8).

---follow the flying thing---

Bow Kid continues to enviously follow the Spiralfloof Cushion and his passenger as they fly, wondering if she could somehow fly herself once she figures how to create a flying beast using the stuff at her disposal. Not really doing much else other than following and thinking.

---little roboticist---

Sophia continues to doodle her designs for what appears to be a small humanoid robot based on the roomba in the diagrams she was looking at in the booklet. One has to wonder if she's actually going to try and make that thing...

---well this feels familiar---

"Oh."
...MU was hardly surprised at the pool of Thyme Matter. She sorta just turns around and sneaks out for a bit before anything notices her.

She then uses 7 Omnite Postcards and 7 Expired Cider Bottles to effectively make a bunch of molotovs. Paper's not as good as rags, but they're good enough. The paper soaks up the alcohol, and MU strikes a match. One by one, she ignites the paper and throws the molotovs into the nest, aiming for different areas of the nest to ignite as much of the area in fire as possible. Minus the Observer.

She then lobs a Mortar Shell into the nest (the one that acts as napalm), setting it off.

...She also books it back up the chain if it looks like the ceiling's gonna collapse in on itself. Or if the Observer decides it wants her head.

Toast does a quick think.
"Chess sounds familiar- I think I might have heard of it in a fantasy novel- but no idea how it's meant to be played. Plus, I think learning it with you would be extra fun!
...Where can we start?"

~~

Nettle raises an eyebrow (or the chairian equivalent of doing that i guess) at "Amaranth".

NETTLE: Mischevious past...?

She doesn't seem too sympathetic, but shakes her head, continuing.

NETTLE: It's good to be welcome here.
NETTLE: As for my specialty...
NETTLE: Actually, why don't I show you? I'm fairly proud of it.[

She waves her hand at the Seeker corpse from earlier and thin roots curl up from the ground, wrapping it up many times over until it's like a seeker cocoon.

NETTLE: It's a technique that only works on weakened foes. Otherwise they can just... break free.

She demonstrates by sending some vines crawling up her own leg, but easily just shakes off the binding.

NETTLE: The Legion apparently "don't have use" for quite possibly the best interrogator on Sussui.
NETTLE: And ambusher, for that matter.
NETTLE: Even if my attacks can be difficult to successfully pull off, catching people by surprise makes it child's play.

She smiles arrogantly.

NETTLE: ...There is something else, but maybe I'll save it for the fight coming up.
NETTLE: I have a feeling this new equipment will come in handy.

~~

[nettle talks to auth]

~~

Nettle sprints. She uses 6/10 of this move to get to K6 (H9 -> I8 -> J7 -> K6), and uses a Throwing Rock on Fighter 1. She then uses Forest Storm (i.e. Cherry Energy) until its at 6 HP or lower. Then, she uses Rampant Growth on the Fighter! Roots curl up among those already ensaring him in Upheaval's radius, then curl up his body, sharply dragging him into the earth!

This might spawn a Dream Foe. If said Dream Fighter can move, it moves to J5. If it can also act, it attacks "FocusRobe3" at the end of the player phase. Otherwise it stands around uselessly.

Now, with Nettle's increased threshold of 7, she points at Focus Robe 2. She grins triumphantly at the soon-to-be-ex-Magi as roots (Rampant Growth) drag the weakened Chairian down, leaving only its head above the ground, the rest bound in roots beneath.

Then, she performs another Forest Storm on Faithful1. She waves her hand dismissively as Rampant Growth takes the poor priest away. Nettle should now have a threshold of 9.

From the other side of the map, her Singing Maw drags Brute2 into Upheaval's area of effect. Meanwhile, she beckons Archer2 over, using the movement from her trait to drag them to O6. :ohno:

She then uses her remaining 4 MOV from sprinting to move to P4. (If using sprint movement in that way is illegal, then she just chills where she is.)
She invites the small legion of fighters to watch as all hell breaks loose behind them. Roots tear up from the ground, tossing Chairians into the air with them, before dragging them down to the earth with a mighty slam!
Some perhaps become completely incapacitated by thin vine-like roots as they hit the ground, courtesy of Nettle herself.

MARIAAAAAA

Going, going, gone. Maria is absolutely out of sight, and Verdana with him. Venia can only watch in pure horror-Mari's attempt at reassurance and Chaos blasting off with them did not help matters.

"C-calm down, Venia, calm down. Uhh... Everything today is gonna be OK, tomorrow-nope can't do it." Venia says, eyes unfocused upon Maria and more focused upon Maria-or the obvious duplicate her mind made to taunt her about it, that chaos-eyed thing in her worst nightmares.

"Why'd y<0>u let me fall?"

Venia grasps Mari for help. "Oh god Mari I'm hallucinating and its really bad help help help. Stress hallucinations, help, hold me." Venia says, only halfways coherent.

As for Maria herself, she's having the time of her life. "Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa! Whoaaaaaaaaaaa!" She yells, imitating Cushion as she flies, barely faster than Verdana, as she flies over to those weird mountains. She doesn't object to the fact that she's left the House long behind or that she'd pretty much instantly die if she fell off of Cushion at these heights, or what the hell she's about to charge into because there's a pretty fat chance its a battle of some kind, but she knows it'll be an adventure, and adventure is what Maria strives for!

Evergrooooooooound

Venia's maid is completely uninhibited by Venia's current mental crisis, and hops onto the dead/live tree to leap over the fountain altogether. Now in the vicinity of the Observer, she conjures up a book of Terraform. The Observer can only watch as dirt, stone and wood wrap around the Observer like a cocoon of wood, doing their best to neutralize the foe for the time being.

This done, Venia's Maid procures the Entropic Detector and scans the hell out of the fountain at a reasonably safe distance.

Battle: Caravan NORTH

Venia moves before Echoss does! She uses the Machinegun to use Quick Shot on Stormrobe1 and Frost Robe2. She then steps to C11 and pulls out her actual gun to fire a round at Fighter2, marking him with Unify. Her whimsy flies out to D15 and follows up by... Tossing its wand at the Fighter? The wand abruptly seems to whip around basically the whole map at breakneck pace before ramming itself into Fighter2's torso, then flinging itself back into the Whimsy's hand.

Cute wink.

Venia sends a message to Omo through whatever communication system the Spherebreakers use. Or telepathy. "Omorika, I caught something on the map. Try using Twin Spires on designated enemy Focus Robe 3, I believe it to be a disguised Betrayer. And it'll probably instantly down the Focus Robe anyway."

Ziah winces slightly at his swift rejection, before nodding.

Ziah: Right, no that's cool…
Ziah: I uh… didn't necessarily mean now, just…

He sighs softly, then finger guns at her and Toast, backing up awkwardly.

Ziah: I'm uh. I'm gonna go do something else!
Ziah: I'll be at home if you need me for some reason.

Ziah turns around, throwing his hood over his head to hide his face. Still got turned down even with supreme luck, that seems like him. Maybe talking to people is more than just luck…

Regardless, Ziah heads back to the House, and upon passing by Ette…

Ziah: Yeah, didn't work.

He continues up the stairs, and into the bedroom, becoming slightly intrigued by the bookshelves. He dusts the spines of the books off, scanning over them to see if he can find any titles that interest him. While doing so, he's also reminded of Omo, the cute chairian girl who he'd had a brief encounter with earlier, making a mental note to talk with her later.

-=+=-

Meanwhile, Leaf takes a small, only partly ironic bow as Nia claps for her.

Leaf: Right, time to ride~
Leaf: I'll take miss widow, and I'll let you take the smaller spider. It shouldn't be too dangerous.

Leaf requests the widow lower itself for her. Once it does so, Leaf climbs up onto the spider's back, straddling it somewhat, while placing both her hands on the creature's back.

Leaf: I'm sure this would be easier with a saddle and harness, but for now, this should be okay as long as we take it nice and slow.
Leaf: Do you… need help getting up into yours?

Leaf requests the spider lower itself for Nia. If she needs help climbing onto the spider, Leaf makes sure to help Nia with the mounting process.

-=+=-

Leaf attempts to tame the Splinter Spider.

Leaf: Who's a good boy...

Meanwhile, Leaf and the Woolyboi swim(?) through the snow to I4. Leaf uses a Corrosive Mix and brings her staff down upon the Sapper, while the Woolyboi... I think it's stabbing, so, impales the Sapper with its tusks, probably.

If tamed, mister spider friend makes his over to places. If Sapper1 isn't downed, he moves to H8 and shoots them, retreating to H7. If they are, spider fren shoots BlizRobe and retreats to H7.
