Y'know, at this point, pretty much the only people who don't have Minecraft are those who don't want the game, regardless of where they spend their time. Or in my case, those whose computers are too overwhelmingly crappy to run the game above 5 FPS.
Okay, I've been going over things, and I think twin's idea is probably the best.
Just do a linear equation. It makes the big charge more powerful, to make up for the amount of time people spend not charging, but my problem was that those huge charged monstrosities worked on a different scale.
Tazz, you think the charging problem was that I didn't curb it? The problem was that I encouraged it to much. I didn't have much experience with charging (Coming Apocalypse hardly counts considering how it ended)
The equation was, if I remember correctly:
health = (((X*.1)^2)+1)*1000
Not very stable. Eventually I gave up on that, and just went with 2000*x at 50 charge, 3000*x at 150 charge, and so on.
I did a horrible job of balance in tvtropes, which is why I just ended the stat-based combat altogether with the warded sanctuary because I realize I had screwed balance up so horribly there was no way I was getting it back on track.
In contrast, the system twin had of health is equal to 2000 multiplied by the amount of charge, and attack being equal to 250 multiplied by the charge amount gives a decent enough balance among everything, although I would reduce health to 1000.
It worked for here, as a 100 post charge would've really screwed things up, but with standard attacks dealing around 2000 to 5000 damage, if not more, that would still be a fairly balanced scale, allowing the really large charges to dominate the battlefield for a while (as anyone who has charged something for 200 posts or more probably deserves) but not making them invincible barring some charged entities or attacks.
Something with 100 posts worth of charge would go down in fewer than 20 attacks.
But I'm not going to start an argument over who's right. Each game plays differently, and besides my poor attempts at 'balancing' I would say that everything postulated so far would work fairly well so long as careful attention is paid by the GM to making sure things don't get too unfair.
I can see "Or was it me" arranged vertically on the left side of the picture, and the phrases "pro" and "me" in between the lower set of teeth. Okay wow. The fact that this thing has two sets of teeth alone isn't right. This is just too much...
I think Talist's idea is a good one, charging-wise. Especially if you can move the charge cap, if you're getting ungodly amounts of assists.

@net: Then you just limit assists. Every once in a while you'll have a stupidly huge charge come up, but if you limit +1s to one per person per post, then it'd seriously mitigate the amount of charge eruptions.

Now for some context:
I was playing Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and I got this item that made Isaac stop crying and have this really weird smile on his face (I forget what the item was), and I was like "Why am I smiling, I'm not supposed to be happy, why". ...Yeah, it's still weird even with context.

Oh goodie, another 5 nights teaser. You probably knew this already, but I'm still not impressed. That thing's belly just looks like a jack-o-lantern to me. And I can't "unsee" it. Maybe I'm just being perverse for its own sake though.
Anyway, next mechanic on the chopping block: alchemies. I have two problems with the alchemy system. 1) they tend to discourage creativity and 2) the duplicator.
The base damage boost from alchemies seems to encourage people to stick with basic alchemy attacks because an uncreative attack with an alchemy does just as much damage as a creative one without, or even more. So, in order to make alchemies still rewarding to get, I'd suggest that they instead of giving a damage boost or multiplier, they increase the maximum damage possible in one attack. Either that, or they increase the creativity multiplier thing. That way, a non creative attack will still deal the same amount of damage no matter what weapon you use. But a creative attack with a powerful weapon can do much more damage.
Second, the duplicator. This is mainly regarding potions. The duplicator makes getting potions absurdly easy. So much so, that for most of the game, I don't even consider them consumables. Being able to get potions so easily makes them very weak. Plus, it creates an effective strategy of making a very high level material, duplicating it a bunch, then using that to make all your level 10 alchemies. Its effective because that saves a bunch of alchemy posts. That might not be too bad, but it does make all your alchemies fairly similar. So, I'd say remove the duplicator to encourage scarcity.
Those are my thoughts anyway. Are there any mechanics anyone else wants to comment on? And possibly my most important question, should I start planning my final entity (Willow) now? And that would be for either DTG0 or 3.
And BTW: Wilson wasn't actually supposed to be all that defensive. I had messaged Twin eariler with Wilson's stats, and Twin gave him 300,000 hp over the standard 200,000, probably because I flat out stated he took a lot of effort and was my most complicated entity ever. I actually kinda wanted him to die because I had another 50 post charge saved for that.
@Talist: Mats aren't used up in alchemization anyway.

I still like my action-limitation system, which would actually help with +1splosions as well.

Seems like that if you check Scott Games' code, you'll see a code that reads: name=gsfecfbs
Replace each letter with the one before. E.G. g=f

The Potion of Kitsune gave you the powers of a kitsune, which is basically upgraded attacks for a short period of time. You used it fine.
Probably none. Twin decided he was sick of all the random status effects and just nixed all non-standard potions permanently.
