I wasn't aware we would be continuing this whilst the thread was on hiatus. Sorry. Do ignore this rant.
First of all, I explicitly stated the Totem of Dawn did not light the room up in any way whatsoever. It did what Azanor intended it to do when he coded it into Thaumcraft. No more, no less. Secondly, that's just it. A system of magic with heretofore unseen, or likely nonexistent, repercussions. You're essentially writing things into reality to make a change. Through speech, but words nonetheless. The runic magic was deactivated for a legitimate reason. The entities within the Citadel currently in command (I'm obviously not at this point, with my failure to protect the people) saw the vast influx of power with three of your runic spells. Were there any repercussions whatsoever to dampen that influx? No. They saw this influx as a threat, and, with all of the instability in the area due to my wanton usage of mutagenic dark magic, corruption of the atmosphere through Taint, mass draining of life through blood sorcery, and overall eldritch magic, it almost definitely was. For all you know, those runic markings could have triggered a disruption in various concentrations of arcane waste on the other end of Grayhold, causing it the waste to explode, killing hundreds of people. You wouldn't know if that had happened, would you? The wards are certainly designed to prevent sound from interfering with daily life. Thusly, the runes were dispatched in the most expedient manner as possible in the current state of affairs. Perhaps if there had been a discernible aftereffect to the usage of the runic magic, this would never have happened. But, there is almost certainly not, considering you have not written any rules down. Regardless, it IS godmodding, in reality. Suddenly, with a single word or two, you can will something into existence, or trap beings far more powerful than one's self, with virtually no other repercussions beyond the (alleged) preparation of the incantation. No written rules. Everywhere else, we are all suffering for our usage of some powerful force. Grayhold is an absolute travesty of a containment zone now, due to the arcane waste products produced finally catching up with the rate of arcane expansion. My research has quite literally driven me insane through the revelation. There is a cost to everything, and that does not seem to be the case with runic magic, unless I have overlooked some sort of painstaking preparation ritual. You have to kill a universe to create a new one. You have to face the consequences of your actions for reckless usage (or even usage at all) of the arcane. But, perhaps I am going on a tangent. That is all I am going to say on the matter. I have provided the reason why the runic magic is not currently functioning, and a comparison between all other magic systems I have at my disposal, and what you utilize. But, I will repeat myself. That is all I shall say on the matter.
There is literally nothing you can currently do at the given moment besides opening the door, examining the pedestals and chests, or standing still and doing absolutely nothing.

Some things are going to look a bit weird. That can't be helped right now, but hopefully after the editor is fixed again, I'll be able to make it all look better.
Quick RP, because that's a little more important to me right now. Oh, okay. I see your problem with net then. I finish the potion.
Wilson's shop: Sanford chuckles as Deimos's eyes begin to water. Yikes, that was... a bit much... he hacks. Should've turned you into a chicken or something. Now THAT would have been funny. Hank and Sanford watch Wilson's display as Deimos goes off to the back looking for a bucket of milk or something similar to help his tongue. Sanford claps appreciatively. I don't think Pi Day is as important on Earth as Valentines Day... I thought Valentines Day was about celebrating romance? I dunno, you ever looked it up? You think I had that kind of time? Hank shrugs. It makes sense though. It seems to focus on commercialism a lot. I can see where Wilson's coming from. I never enjoyed it very much. You never had a girlfriend to spend it with though. What about you Wilson? Got anyone you're looking out for?
POTION OF DOUBLEXPERIENCE: A potion that gives the user double experience points for a very limited time.
I head to ACCESS POINT 2 from the vent. I get every terrible fanfic ever made to surround the Owl.
You climb through the vent, heading all the way through the castle, and pop out at the East Plarform. You swear you heard something behind you while you were heading through though...
O>New Condition:It is Infinitely Improbable that the Owl Effigy will not be destroyed.
O>Now that that is taken care of...
A time-displaced version of me draws a face on Scratch with the Creation Pen, in a null-time. All the attacks aimed at Scratch's face then happen.
==Limbo==
I inspect the spike. It reminds me somewhat of an SCP...
==The Main Hall, Gunpowder Castle==
The THLI arrays activate Glyphs of Hurricane Winds, and blow all guards entering the Main Hall out and into the pits!
I then go to null-time again and hit the King until he is dead. Despite that not technically being fair in the game rules. Time shenanigans. Continuing those...
I pick up an explosive and go through the roof with it, in a null time,
==East or West Bridges==
then back down through to an unprimed access point,
==The Numerically First Access Point Without An Explosive==
and deploy the explosive.
Infinity rolls back around to zero!
You drew it in black marker and it doesn't appear on Scratch's obsidian-black head! Therefore, it doesn't exist!
The spike appears to be completely covered in rust, and a mystical energy swirls around it.
You knock an East Guard into the pits, killing him!
Scratch's hand turns into a record and a golden needle descends upon it, scratching it! You are wrenched from null-time and you feel yourself unable to enter it for the remainder of the fight!
Twin, you do realize that the godmodder has an in-canon weakness to Tubas that was shown to damage the godmodder all the way back in DTG 1. Given that that was damage dealt to a fulls strength godmodder, and the godmodder is not only trapped in a tuba but severely weakened by being shrunk down in said tuba (if Scratch didnt take any powers from him, he would have teleported out), it should be plenty to wipe him out.
/null
You think I'm the Game Master of Destroy the Godmodder 2 and I don't know that the Godmodder's weakness is tubas? The Godmodder got over his weakness to tubas, but not entirely. He's still scared of them, but not enough so they can damage him. Since he's inside one, it just serves as a very convenient prison.
The Forge: Where Conversations Go To Die... *lightbulb* I convert Scratch into a conversation, then send it to the Forge. The conversation dies. I convert it back. O>Yeah, like that'll work. Stranger things have been known to happen though. Anywho, I continue the time shenanigans to deploy another explosive if necessary, then return to the Main Hall. I then see if all the fuses are there and prepare to light them if they are. I alchemize up Red Generic Objects for Split, and use time shenanigans to have multiple bajillions of them ready when I finally hand them over, raising his Affinity and incidentally creating a wall across the Affinity Bar that prevents it from going Scratchward!
Unless you can tell me how you turned a full-fledged Psi-Godmodder/First Guardian into a conversation of text, the attack fails.
I install the Magic English Eye, and laugh. "Heh. PUPPET. YOU THERE, PUPPET. PUPPET QUIT ALL THIS DRINKING. DO YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN ESCAPE THE BAR BEFORE I STOP YOU? HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO OUTDRINK ME WHEN I AM ALREADY BEER?" Scratch suffers a FACEPALM X0 COMBO, and I summon an alternate Giant Brain Ghost Vriska, who smashes Scratch's head due to her 8-ball breaking obsession. I then take out a copy of Scratch's typewriter, and type out our MST in the largest font point ever created, then wrap the paper around the Owl Effigy. I then preview the Gatekeeper's Scythe. In terms of level. I walk calmly to Access Point 2 with a Bomb, destroying the idea that the guards can detect me with the Octoroon Rangoon. My shadow wanders aimlessly about Limbo. Gatekeeper's Scythe (Level 10)
MAGIC ENGLISH EYE: An eye that continuously cycles through the different pool balls of a billiards game. Powerful english energy crackles around it, giving its wearer command over them. In addition, the eye acts as an oracle, answering the questions of the wearer.
You grab a Supercharged Explosive and walk all the way to Access Point 2, since the guards never could see you!
PIT_ICARUS' TURN (3/3 Actions Remaining): Kid Radd: 45/42 Pixellated Arcs: I thought i completed these! If Pricey12345 is dead, i sigh. If Pricey12345 isn't dead, i predict some very angry players' appearance specifically to kill him for what he did to Scratch and Split's character. (Seriously, i know they're coming. You can't say otherwise, Twin.) In fact, i bet thirty posts they will come! The PPC are coming for Pricey: 1/30
PIXELLATED ARCS: A pair of pixellated arcs that look like a cross between the rings of Sonic and the Kolmas of the Aurum. They fire pixellated spikes of energy at foes.
I respawn, if needed. Otherwise... Unlock the Troper's Chest with the Troper's key, and carefully inspect the contents. TROPER'S GEM: An insane diamond-like gem that glows with a radiant light. It can only be used once, and upon use, it will solidify with the power of a single trope that will become weaponized and used in battle. Be careful though: the trope it will take the form of is randomly decided!

The crystalline part of my form cracks, forming a vicious grin. In the distance behind me, 413 cue balls levitate into the air. My "grin" grows wider, as gray energy gathers, then... "Heh. You have the Ancestral artifacts. You had the Fez. I don't think, Scratch, that you're in a position to complain about anything, especially not my unorthodox methods, if you're the one who places elaborate buildings down so that us players have to spend valuable time on navigating them. So, I'll make this very simple." The cue balls shatter into fragments, raining down on a field far off from here. "Screw you, you muppet." The "grin" disappears, healed over in an instant. A pair of three-pronged hands appear on each side of Psi-Scratch, slamming inwards and crushing the doctor between them, before exploding. Seconds later, the exact same barrage of Neutron stars from the Mainframe, apparently having glitched through a few dimensions, reappear in front of Psi-Scratch, one of them whacking him in the head since he apparently doesn't have a face. Mainframe Battle Technique: Wave Motion level 1: [4/10]
Scratch fortifies himself with ten thousand layers of bedrock and watches as the hands destroy several thousand! He flies towards the neutron stars and lets the tip hit him, just enough to destroy the remainder of the bedrock and deal .00000000000000000001 damage to him! Right as that happens, the pool ball on his hand switches to the 10-Ball, meaning Scratch gains Sawbuck's time power and jumps to the future right when he's hit!
Scratch then rolls the damage down to 0 and waits in the future, seeing that no attack aimed at him this turn will hit since he's not there.

I splash a Potion of Augmentation on myself. This should function to amplify the vast majority of my arcane abilities. For this action, however, it is only the psionic augmentation that is required. A thin amethyst aura surrounds me. I continue to levitate about in the Void as my eyes slowly fade into a monochromatic amethyst as well. Sparks of violet electricity occasionally erupt from my eyes, denoting my current state. I continue to charge my psionic ability, wait for exactly the right moment. After several instants, I decide that my intervention is indeed in order. Well, intervention is not the correct term. The correct term would likely be 'amplification of defensive capabilities.' This would not normally be the case with psionics, but I am perfectly capable of adapting them. It is essentially the utilization of a regularly offensive attack for thoroughly defensive means. Two monolithic amethyst optic blasts erupt from my eyes, and travel towards the Owl Effigy. At the last moment, I cast a series of redirection spells, augmented by the usage of the potion. The optic blasts bend around the Owl Effigy, pulsating with arcane fury. They continue to streak around the Effigy with distinct motions. The patterns, however, are not nearly so clear, and vary between each orbit. The optic blasts move at nearly the speed of light, accelerating slightly in the eternal orbit around the Effigy. Slowly, the energy diffracts around the Effigy. Any escaping energy is sent accelerating around the Effigy with remarkable speed. The psionic energy serves as a hopefully-adequate method of defense for the Owl Effigy. In general, I could have used my unusually gifted psionic abilities for something far more prestigious. Rather, some kind of breach in defenses to annihilate some guards. That would be utterly ridiculous. There is no need to be scurrying around, slaying guards with wild abandon. Why would one do such a thing when one has the capacity to avoid all of that, and silently achieve the objective with minimal casualties. Well, minimal until the end, in which everything dies at once. I suppose I am merely predisposed to find stealth and tactical strategy a far better option than rushing in and murdering everything. Still, is it really that difficult to not kill things? I may be a horrific, murderous, ignominious waste of existential matter, but I still think it's a bit tactless to rush in and try to kill everything, getting mowed down by the guards in the process. Then again, such a diversion may be necessary to actually perform the stealth operation. I believe I just went on a likely inefficacious and futile tangent. I apologize.
I head towards the vent silently and cautiously, avoiding the guards with as much skill as possible. When I reach the vent, I teleport through, as to not disturb the airing and alert the guards. I head to the west wing, and attempt to examine my present location, still avoiding any and all guards, with the aforementioned reactions, if I am noticed. The aforementioned reaction is, of course, teleportational evisceration. I make it a point to not bring any explosives. Hah. After teleporting within the vent, and crossing to the west half of the castle, I deftly leap out silently (on the west end), avoiding any guards (with the same repercussions as were stated beforehand). Then, I mutter an incantation. An illusion appears, unbeknownst to the guards. It appears to be an illusion of some kind of explosive, likely the ones required to detonate the castle. I move the illusion to an area within the guards' lines of sight, and use this diversion to obtain another bomb, passing through to the Entrance Hall, and back west. I stealthily return to a state of virtual invisibility in the shadows, without actually becoming invisible. This is far more enticing than casting an invisibility spell, and dispatching the guards. I enjoy subtlety, and the potential danger of this situation.
I equip the prodigious instrument which is otherwise referred to as Scratch's Lament. Immediately, I wave the ebony cue, and a mass of green plasma flows forth from the tip in vast quantities. Practically innumerable quantities, at that. Regardless, I pour the green plasma into reality, utilizing my will as a gateway. One might say that such a thing would be impressive. However, I usually respond by saying 'my hatred is the lifeblood of your universe.' That is, assuming you live in the universe I created. I find that saying such a thing is hundreds of times more impressive. Especially since it is technically true. Then again, my idiocy and my foolishness are also partially the lifeblood of the aforementioned universe. I tend to not say that in the situations at hand, likely for obscenely selfish reasons I should be ashamed of. But, I digress. The pure, unadulterated Green Sun energy is rather congregated at the position it was summoned. This could prove to be very detrimental to both my mind and that of those nearby. Thusly, I infuse the plasma with trace amounts of creation energy straight from the nearest artifact. Whether or not that is the First Block remains to be seen, but I doubt it. I have nary a fraction of the power needed to tap into the First Block. I will never be able to wield such an artifact with the alarming precision commonly attributed to First Guardians or the ?. I like to think this is a good thing, as I am certain I would end up doing something absolutely horrific to reality, and would eventually be forced before an executioner on the charges of genocide, world-annihilating corruption, and general dislike of the populace. Hopefully, that never happens. Anyhow, I fuse the Green Sun energy with further amounts of creation energy, as to boost the effectiveness of the energy in the art of amplification. However, this is ridiculous, as the plasma is currently attuned to the Green Sun, and not the currently demanded Red Sun. Therefore, I fuse a nigh-nonexistent amount of oblivion energy into the plasma. It immediately turns red, violently reacting with the energy of creation, causing the plasma to switch alignments. Alignments, of course, are completely and utterly redundant, given the circumstances. They have no meaning, and appear to be opposite ends of a spectrum. I use this to boost Split's Affinity. I de-equip Scratch's Lament.
Meanwhile, in Limbo once more, my shadow does a number of things. Firstly, it examines the passageway in the cavern to its very end. Next, it examines the spike driven into the ground within/nearby Grayhold. My shadow attempts to pull it out of the ground, but stops if it begins to harm him. Finally, my shadow attempts to reactivate the portal. As an afterthought, I attempt to learn something to the effect of creating temporary shadow clones through the shadow.

The passageway in the cavern ends at a circular chamber that appears to contain a quartz column and a defunct Nether Portal.

You are enraptured in energy and feel yourself flung onto the ground. When you regain your senses, you see that you are near Netpatham's shadow clone and his spike just underwent the same transformation. It looks like you can use these to travel throughout Limbo.

31/50 +1 to Amp x2. If at all possible at this point in time, I head to one of the two Access Points on the west side, preferably one that has not yet been visited. Stealthily, of course. I am one with the fabric of nonexistence, metaphorically speaking. I am merely extremely good at not being seen. That tends to come in handy when there is a raging eldritch horror perusing the halls of Grayhold, having just broken free of containment, which is rather often. It is rather amusing how futile any attempts to recapture it are, unless I see it fit to intervene.
Afterwards, I draw the Thorns of Oglogoth. These needlewands are literally some of the only level ten alchemies that I can use reliably, and without blowing anybody's head off unintentionally. If I desired to decapitate somebody unceremoniously, they would be without a head, and that is all there is to say on the matter. Well, actually, that is not entirely true. There are indeed some level ten alchemies possessing both higher power and reliability than these wands, but I use them infrequently, if at all. Besides, what help will melee weapons offer in our endeavors at the present moment? They cannot offer anything, as there is nothing to attack. Defense and healing are the primary objectives on the field of battle currently, not inclusive of the quest to annihilate, or otherwise deactivate the Ancestral and Void Artifacts at the disposal of the opposition. As such, I raise the Thorns, twitching them in a manner quite clearly denoting the casting of a spell, or a plethora of spells. Shadows congeal in the distance, making indistinct, vaguely tentacular shapes. Eldritch magic bends the very fabric of spacetime around it, forming some sort of shield around the Owl Effigy, in as effective and timely a manner as possible, given the current circumstances. The congealed shadows begin to accelerate rapidly towards the Effigy, void energy gathering around them. The void energy shall likely prove to be unusually effective, if I know anything about how the Void functions. It will likely vaporize anything that attempts to attack the Effigy, or at least entities of a lower quality. I doubt Scratch will be fazed by it. Regardless, it shall attempt its task. Suddenly, smooth, oily black tentacles rip their way into existence around the Effigy, and arc outwards, immediately turning back around, wrapping themselves around the Effigy in a particularly jerky and violent fashion. Bursts of nothingness obscure the Effigy occasionally, which may serve to obfuscate the Effigy from the omniscient. Scratch has no eyes, and will be unable to find the Effigy without the aid of some other ability or device, to the best of my knowledge. I seriously doubt the spell will be effective enough to obfuscate it, but it will not hurt to try. Unless I decide to utilize blood magic to augment it, which I will not. Any attempt at utilizing blood magic for anything tends to involve a loss in blood, whether it be the caster, or the blood of a sacrifice. Anyhow, the tentacles and the shadow aura fuse together, creating some sort eternal barrier of stygian tenebrosity. Void energy pulsates off of the two barriers frequently, annihilating anything which attempts to touch the barrier, and possibly obfuscating Scratch's omniscient vision.
My shadow carefully scrutinizes everything within the empty Grayhold and the cavern once more, making a point to examine any and all suspicious objects or parts of the locations mentioned.

The Anachron:
There are six engineers, now. One of them was caught in an electrical discharge, presumably from a damaged capacitor, and burned to plasma, grounded hazard suit and all.The survivors, more cautious now, have reached one of the entrances to Crewsec, and, after a few minutes, passed the blast doors as well. The area they have reached is one of the unpressurized maintenance corridors, bulkheads lit only by their helmet lamps. Turning a corner, they nearly run into a suited corpse, floating off the ground in the low gravity, since the suit's magboots disabled to save power. The visor is totally transparent in this dim environment, revealing hard blue cryogenic ice, filled with slowly moving drifts of the nanites the body was implanted with. The face is not visible.

UNREMEMBERED WAND: A powerful wand fused with the energy of Irrigo; it can fire blasts of Irrigo energy that damage and disorient enemies, making further attacks against them deal more damage.
MAGE'S RESERVECOMPUTER: A computer forged from magibots, nanobots fueled by magic. This computer can turn into any shape at will thanks to nanobots, and also has a large amount of magical energy inside of it and can preform magical spells.
TWINORACLE: A spherical crystal that allows the user to look throughout time and space and peer around a large radius. Hallowed energy swirls around it.

Huh. Well then. Good luck with whatever's going on in your life twin. I take the potion of doubleexperience, and mix in gunpowder before I do anything else. 1/3 This needs to be usable on other people.
Castle: Christoff, recognizing that something is probably about to go horribly wrong, decides not to make a beeline for the access points. Instead, he uses his powers to zombify every single dead guard, bringing them to his team. (Call it AG, even though Christoff is technically neutral, because I'm not changing alignment just for this event) He leaves the zombie guards behind to interfere with things, and then notices the fuses that have been laid down. Time to leave. Christoff zooms out the front door of the castle, not wanting to be caught in a melee when the last explosives get set.

Realizing that I do not have explosives, I go back to the East Hall and recall where the explosives were and who has some to spare. I also kill any guards there with the use of The Release, if there are any in the East Hall.
You head back to the East Hall and remember that the explosives are in the Entrance. Thankfully, some people have explosives already and all you need is one more to win.
Battlefield: Eric nods, and waves Astria to follow him. Look out... I think that's flux goo. He pulls out a small device, and a small platform of light pink light expands out from it and descends to a few inches above floor level.
He gets up on it, taps the middle, and the small hovering platform expands a little. Eric shuts off his lightsaber and clips it on his trench-coat and helps Astria onto the floating hover-plate.
Keep an eye out...This place has lots of loose magic floating around. The disc begins to hover forward, just above the flux goo and anything dangerous that might be on the floor, slowly moving forward.

Scratch pops back into existence after phasing into the future! He tips the affinity in his favor by +30% and creates shackles around Split's waist that will drain affinity he receives from you and give it to Scratch instead! Some of your attacks to help Split will now fail as a result.
Scratch looks at the Ethnic Cheer and his head glows with an eldritch power, a high-level Disquieting Leer shooting forth from it! The Ethnic Cheer peels off of the Owl Effigy and becomes the Cultural Rainbow, a zombified mob of diversity! Scratch's head then morphs into a railgun and fires shotguns that shoot shotguns that shoot shotguns! Soon, a cloud of shotguns swarms around the Owl Effigy and pulverizes all of its shields, leaving the actual Effigy, thankfully, unharmed. He then pokes the Reinforcements with a fifty-meter tall drill and pierces right through them, killing them!
Split uses Division, Broken Anachronism's blade turning red and hissing with energy! The blade glows orange with chaos and heats up, and Split brings it down on the Cultural Rainbow, slicing through it in one strike! Or, you could say, dividing them! Split then goes back in time and does it again and again, creating an army of Split's that preform the exact same dividing strike throughout time! He deals 50,000 damage to them!
Split then throws Broken Anachronism in the air and watches it turn into an alternate form: Directionless Point!
The Everyman fuses his alchemies together (the Kinect Wands, Storage Shotgun, and Battery Pack), expending 2 Creativity points and making the Microstorage Chargers! He uses them to deal 9,000 damage to the Cultural Rainbow!
The West Guards deal 5 damage to NinjaV! The Deviljho deals 4,000 damage to a West Guard! The Streamer summons Fennekin and Sceptile! They deal 12,000 damage to the King! The Zombie Guards deal 5,000 damage to a West Guard! The Creeper Scout finishes it off!
The East Guards deal 8 damage to crystalcat! Everyone on the East Platform sees static and sees Springtrap walk right up to them! His jaw unhinges and you all stagger in pain, your eyes closed! When they open, you see the flickering image of Phantom BB, a badly burned and damaged version of Balloon Boy! It looks like Springtrap will summon Phantoms to do his dirty work. Phantom BB lunges at Tazz and deals 5 damage!
The King swoops down on Irecreeper and throws his Majestic Crown at him! It bounces off and Irecreeper picks it up, but he quickly sees it was a Decoy Crown meant as a distraction! The King stabs Irecreeper from behind and the Majestic Crown explodes in Irecreeper's face, killing him instantly!
Suddenly, the Ancestral Flesh glows and spirals through the Void! It creates a large superflat chunk of land that seems to be populated by an NPC village! Several Testificates and Iron Golems roam around the village, and some of them seem to be guarding some sort of object at the center... You realize it's the Ancestral Flesh itself! Some of you move away from Gunpowder Castle and try to interact with the village, but find there is some force preventing you from doing so! You look down at the very edge of the village and see a group of zombies. All the Testificates, sensing imminent threat, duck into the safety of their houses, and leave the Iron Golems to patrol the village.
Your task is this: all of you must control a squad of Zombies and lead them throughout the village so they can kill all the Testificates and ultimately get to the center of the Village! Since the Testificates are all inside their houses, you'll have to make the Zombies roam around the village and break down all the houses' Doors! Once a Door is knocked down, all the Testificates inside will be subjected to your undeadness. Keep in mind that it will take more than just one Zombie to knock down a Door. Tackle them in teams!
The houses are: Hut, Small House, Large House, Library, Blacksmith's Shop, and Church. Each house is populated by two Testificates except the last three. The Library contains three Testififcates, the Blacksmith contains one, and the Church contains none. But it does house a secret...
When you kill all the Testificates, you'll have to make a beeline for the center of the Village and capture the Ancestral Flesh, dropping it into a conveniently-placed lake of fire! The Iron Golems will patrol certain areas, and if they spot you, they'll attack you, so watch out for them! The Iron Golems should be best taken out in groups or avoided entirely!
There will be nine Zombies controlled by three players. You can use one of your three posts each turn to control your Zombie and have him move somewhere in the village. Work together with your two teammates to move your zombie around effectively! Keep in mind that you can't use any of your Special Attacks or alchemies, since these guys technically aren't you!
Zombie #1 will be controlled by The_Serpent, Generic, and TT2000.
Zombie #2 will be controlled by Erelye, Irecreeper, and Modpack.
Zombie #3 will be controlled by Talist, 5l1n65h07, and Pit.
Zombie #4 will be controlled by pionoplayer, Crusher, and PaperShuriken.
Zombie #5 will be controlled by engie, stronghammer, and ninjatwist.
Zombie #6 will be controlled by crystalcat, K4yne, and NinjaV.
Zombie #7 will be controlled by Pricey, Cobalt, and omglolsguy.
Zombie #8 will be controlled by Amperz4nd, Netpatham, and Maniac.
Zombie #9 will be controlled by Fseftr, Tazz, and gutza.
So, in short: There are nine Zombies controlled by three players each. You all will have to control your Zombies and destroy the Doors in the Village so you can kill the Testificates (which will be done automatically once a Door is destroyed). When all Testificates are killed, make your way to the center of the Village and sacrifice the Flesh!
The Itinerary:
> All: Defend the Owl Effigy!
> All: Guard your entities!
> All: Raise Split's affinity!
> All: Deploy the explosives at the access points!
Hey... fseftr, just remember not to forget your comb rave.
I know that the totem of dawn didn't light up the room, what I thought had happened was that a cloud of taint-based darkness had surrounded the light, and that when the rest of the stuff got disrupted, so did what was blocking the light.
No, that's something you've missed. If it were a large amount of power, I wouldn't use it the way I do. Runic magic is low-energy, and doesn't even actually have a magical signature, it most certainly wouldn't interfere with anything in Grayhold, and runic energy is ridiculously hard to detect. Detecting runic energy is high-level runic magic itself, and, once again, beyond Eric's capabilities.
And okay, maybe at this point it is sort of godmodding. I sort of have plans for extended it outwards, but the effects of it right now are still a bit vague, and solidifying a bit more as time goes on. I don't have the advantage of having rules written out before I could use it, so I haven't gotten all the rules down.
The preparation is fairly painstaking, the aren't bizarre extra effects you can do with runic magic, because you have to spend a fair amount of time preparing them. If something unexpected comes up, you can't deal with it because the more specific you want your spell to be, the amount of time required to prepare it increases exponentially. All of the spells Eric can use at this point are ones he uses often, minor utility spells and a few weaker combat spells and enchantments. There aren't a whole lot of negative effects other than being limited in scope (for the most part, but all the bigger spells Eric had were broken when Piono busted his pimary tome), but that's why Eric uses it.
Finally, three? Eric only used 1. And that was the illumination spell, which did literally nothing more than make a light appear. He used it because he was worried about the light being disrupted by whatever was in the shadows, so used one of his runic spells remaining to give him and Astria a light that would be much less likely to get put out arbitrarily. The other things Eric used were 1: an enlarged-space pouch from a D&D world, 2: a lightsaber from Star Wars, 3: an ordinary, if rather fancy (slight enchantments, but nothing spectacular) katana from another similar universe (although with a small flamethrower in the handle added by a friend) and the floating disc was an IUPC artifact (Basically a strengthening upgrade from something I've seen elsewhere. I can't remember where though). No runes used so far in this bit but the illumination.
But you have brought something up; I haven't been very good at making a point to show that Eric's supposed to be limited since he doesn't have very many runes prepared. I will keep that in mind.
In terms of that light being blocked, all the illumination is was making the room brighter, is that too much to ask?
Eric won't be using runic magic as much unless something big comes up though. Thank you for pointing out I was abusing the not-fully-written mechanics of runes, I'll admit I was at fault. But please don't block them just because.
Also, the thing with Raven was an advantage Eric had for several reasons: 1. Our group was out of range of the Green Sun, so Raven was at a disadvantage, 2. Raven wasn't trying to hurt our group, 3. Eric had the spell prepared because he thought Scratch would still be around, and even on top of that, cutting people off from exterior power sources is useful (if hard to put together) and finally, 4. Raven didn't expect Eric to be capable of any of this sort of thing, 5. Raven was probably busy watching Kalare, who was already established to be very dangerous, while Raven would've known very little about Eric beyond what Kalare and Astria knew.
But okay, just a note: Can we just say that since Eric's runes aren't disruptive (beyond a few elemental spells he doesn't have anything left in his list that might be considered such because honestly, more complex stuff does take a while, and he hasn't had time to replenish those.) the bit with the illumination rune not working didn't happen, whatever it was hid (because there'd still be shadows, the light would be about the brightness of a light bulb, and yes, that spans the range of bulbs, so it could even be one of those weaker bulbs. Like I said, runes are broad.)
Anyway, assuming you don't have an argument with that, and there was nothing shocking in the room we'll continue (if you do, ignore this)
Eric looks at Astria.
Nowhere to go but forward I guess.
I finish the splash potion of doubleexp
Christoff rolls his eyes, and using his telekinesis, grabs a bunch of explosives, and tosses them all to all the players on the East Platform, since all the guards, AND Springtrap, are on the West Platform, which doesn't connect to Access Point 1.
Christoff, if he still has an action, uses his telekinesis to tosses one of the explosives onto the pedestal in Access Point 1, and then move the rest at various different points for maximum explosive fun, then strikes the central pedestal where all the fuses lead with lightning, then leaves.
Christoff sees Scratch and decides to stay away from that fight, and uses his zombie-powers to control the zombie to the hut, and have it start bashing on the door. Christoff also checks to see if his lightning can make it through the barrier to zap the iron golems.
I apply the Alterationer to a Fluorite Octet, then smash the result into Scratch with the Captchalterationhammer. I then run through the mansion, and surreptitiously grab a bomb, then slam dunk it into the Explosives Pedestal at Access Point One. I then aimlessly wander around Limbo. In the Village Pillage, I attempt to get my zombie to go to the hut.

Stupid robot. Messed up my theme song. At least that laser generator is complete.
Lothyra walks back to the West Platform. She then alchemizes Torodial Laser Generator & Nanogel Rifle & Battery Nanopack & Laser Pulse Controller = Realistic Laser Rifle.
LASER PULSE CONTROLLER: A device that controls the number of pulses emitted from a laser generator. For example, it could make a laser generator fire one highly powerful laser pulse, or split that energy among 1000 smaller pulses.
REALISTIC LASER RIFLE: A gun that fires laser pulses using the Torodial Laser Generator built into it. It has two settings: "Explode" and "Drill." On "Explode," it fires one instantaneous, powerful laser pulse (which is undodgeable and unblockable unless the target both has a reaction time faster than the speed of light and can travel faster than the speed of light. Or, in the case of the second, already has laser pulse-proof armor on. BTW, this laser pulse breaks mirrors, so that trick can't work) that causes an explosion (doesn't do any splash damage, however). Just for reference, a 1-Megajoule laser pulse has approximately the same effect as 200 grams of high explosive. This gun is far less powerful then that, but still. On "Drill" mode, it fires thousands of mini-pulses in a rapid sequence, sacrificing concussive power for very deep penetration. This is actually how laser weapons would work IRL. Overall, this gun is less powerful than iAntimak and its derivatives, but is far longer ranged, is undodgeable, and has the highest possible accuracy for any gun.

The Enlightenment && Concentrated Thought Essence = The Illumination (4/11)
Ashwood Rod && Agonized Soul = Agonizing Rod (4/4!)
32/50
+1 to Amp x2.
It's good to be back, Twin.
I examine the Agonizing Rod. Afterwards, I immediately alchemize Agonizing Rod && Nightmare Fuel-Soaked Hellscholar Flesh (1/???). The tortured flesh of a writhing hellscholar, usually harvested for utilization in tomes of forbidden lore, drenched in the stuff of nig htmares. The epitome of eldritch suffering.
My shadow utilizes the spike to travel back to the cavern, and then examines the quartz pillar and deactivated nether portal. I search the pillar for hidden mechanisms. If I find any that will prove not to be fatal, I activate them in any way I can.
I activate the White Ring in quite the unceremonious fashion. By which I mean discretely. Quite evidently, it is common of most mages to operate in an ostentatious fashion. Of course, I am no normal mage. Hah. Anyhow, the runes flicker into existence, immediately settling into their usual state of vacillation between black and white. Arcane energy begins to build up in the ring, causing a minor aura to begin forming, pulsating between white and black. The energy continues to grow, fueling what will likely be an unfortunate cascade of events imbued with the energy of the fifty-eight aspects of magic. In all technicality, the White Ring is only infused directly with the unadulterated arcane potency of the six primal aspects. However, these aspects are the basis for all others, so it is essentially the same thing, if not exactly. The aura continues to grow, the vacillations of both runes and aura growing increasingly swift. Eventually, the flashing becomes too much for the vast majority of the players to endure. If one refrains from averting their gaze, they would be in serious danger of searing their retinas into a thoroughly unrecognizable state. That is, presuming your eyes are not already fused masses of tissue and fluid from what has already transpired, or that your eyes exist at all. The blind are quite fortunate in this regard; the physical annihilation of the eye is quite the problem, and they have suffered from it for most of, if not all of, their lives, and they should be commended. Alas, there are no blind people currently in my presence. The aura expands rapidly, encompassing both the ring, my physical form (not a particularly difficult task, if I might add), and the surrounding meter. In appearance, the aura is essentially composed of pure, unadulterated vacillating white and black energy, discharging bursts of arcane power at random intervals, regardless of any physical beings within the path of the bolts. The aura contains several tendrils of energy, flailing about. The tendrils wildly slash at the fabric of reality, shredding it over a period of instants. The shredding grants a rather exponential influx of arcane potency to the energy of the Ring. Quite prodigious. The energy grows steadily larger at this point, drawing energy from the Void itself. Noting the current power of the aura being exuded by the Ring, I prepare to cast a spell. If this aura is left unchecked for a minute or so more, it will annihilate me, and likely a sizable portion of spacetime around me. I immediately fuel an excessively burst of energy with the aura. A rather familiar vacillating white and black aura appears around the Owl Effigy, solidifying into a barrier capable of deflecting attacks. I deactivate the White Ring.

You stated two runic incantations afterwards, to the effect of 'dissipate,' and 'bind.' So there were indeed three. I'm essentially saying that you don't want to illuminate the place, unless you have a deathwish. There is a reason I opt to dimly illuminate nearly every room in the Citadel, and usually avoid direct light. But, yes. Let's ignore this ever happened.
Anyhow, forward does appear to be the only way to go. The examination of the pedestals and chests is still an option, if you choose to do so. But, you walk towards the door.
What will you do?

TvTropes Archive && Book && Concentrated Thaumic Magic == Tome of Tropes 1/11 - I also preview this before starting it (I'm assuming previewing an alchemy is a free action- if it isn't, I obviously can't do this.) (Time to start making myself some actual ways to increase the power of my pulling concepts and items from other realms of fiction/universes/stories. On that note...)
I start barraging Springtrap with questions about what he is, where he's from, how he can summon hallucinatory animatronics, etc. until he appears thoroughly exhausted and looks like he would say (if he could speak) 'Look, I only came here to kill all of you, I didn't expect the gorilla Spanish Inquisition!' With that, the Spanish Inquisition bursts in from a sudden and entirely unexpected disembodied door, causing Springtrap to take massive damage from their chief weapon of surprise! and fear. Fear and surprise. Okay, they cause him damage with their two weapons of fear and surprise. (And ruthless efficiency) Okay, they cause him damage with their three weapons surprise, fear, ruthless efficiency, and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope. They cause him damage with such diverse elements as... ''We'll come in again!'' And the whole routine repeats, this time with the addition of nice red uniforms.
While all that is going on, I summon a MASSIVE FOOT in front of the Owl Effigy. Then, realizing that likely won't cut it, I disapparate the MASSIVE FOOT and instead commission a tribe of lumberjacks to build a wooden cube around the Effigy. The lumberjacks cut down the requested trees from an inexplicable forest and build the shield, singing all the way. "I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay..." After they're done, I add on a horde of killer rabbits ensconced in convenient Trojan Rabbits.

Help! I'm been taken hostage by a evil cult of cookie ninjas, who want to steal all the paper ninjas secrets!
I head to the east hall, with clear murderous intent. Upon seeing phantom BB, I do display some concern, but disregard it.
It takes me a second to notice Springtrap.
"OH HELL NO!"
I then immediately flee to the west hall, seeing it as a much better place to be. Strangely, the grimdark fire that had been around me earlier has dissipated.
"*Pathetic frightened noise*"
"DAMMIT, ENGIE, GET DOWN FROM THE ROOF."
"NO! NOT WHILE THAT THING OVER THERE STILL STANDS!"
"...WELL, CONGRATULATIONS, SPRINGTRAP. YOU'RE THE FIRST THING IN QUITE A WHILE THAT ENGIE HAS ACTUALLY SHOWN FEAR OF. BEFORE ONE OF YOU READING THIS POINTS OUT THE OPERATOR, ENGIE ONLY FEARED THE ARRIVAL OF SAID ENTITY, NOT THE ENTITY ITSELF."
"KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT"
"GET DOWN FROM THE MOON. WHY ARE YOU EVEN UP THERE?"
The Mainframe, ignoring both my antics and TECHPIECE's attempts to get me down from increasingly ridiculous heights, resorts to blasting Phantom BB with a Ghostbusters-esque laser.

I alchemize Basmetal Katana && Dark Sword (1/???). Katanas imbued with the essence of primordial nightmares are quite effective, I find. Especially since I don't particularly care about my own sanity.
I swiftly draw a vial of Liquid Nest out of my inventory. I shall have to be rather swift, considering our current position in the Void. For all I know, I shall be consumed by shadows upon my scrutinization of this bottle of the eternal crimson abyss. As such I peer into the bottle of eldritch ink, deeply examining the liquid, diverting the majority of my focus to it. However, my wards are by no means connected to my concentration at the current moment. This is particularly useful when one does not desire to be assassinated from behind, which is abnormally common here, of all places. You would be surprised at the number of people attempting to slay me on a daily basis for a myriad of poor choices I have made in the past, or am making in the present. Darkness congregates around the Owl Effigy, congealing in immense amounts, fusing with the essence of the Void around it to form some sort of indeterminate barrier incapable of being breached without the destruction, and likely the annihilation of the fabric of reality around it. I peer deeper into the vial of Liquid Nest, carefully scrutinizing the ever-changing liquid with more intensity than before. Nothing occurs for several moments. At the very least, visually, that is. I would seriously doubt that nothing is occurring in reality, if I were you. However, I know exactly what is occurring, seeing as I am the one currently examining the bottle of eldritch ink. The liquid swirls and bubbles within the warded vial. The Void around the Owl Effigy, currently coated in darkness, serves as a sort of barrier for the eldritch energy to pass through. Due to the obscene and incomprehensible potency of eldritch sorcery, the magic passes through the barrier instantly, at my behest. Suddenly, tentacles burst out of nothingness, arcing to wrap around the congealed shadows. The infinite energies of the abyss energize the tentacles, permitting them to call forth ever more tentacles in the defense of the Owl Effigy. The eldritch potency of the tentacles comes into full effect within a period of time slightly exceeding that of a nanosecond. Yes, I know. Excessively slow, given the situation. However, this is rather strenuous. Peering into the vial slightly deeper, and aura of tenebrous arcana bursts forth from the Owl Effigy, instantly enveloping the shadows and the tentacles, binding them to each other instantaneously. Occult power radiates from the Effigy even more so than previously. As such, I place the vial of Liquid Nest in my inventory once more.

IE: The #1 browser for downloading other browsers!
Safari may or may not be good.
An alternate timeline emerges.
However, we must first start from the beginning...
I hope this works...
Some things are going to look a bit weird. That can't be helped right now, but hopefully after the editor is fixed again, I'll be able to make it all look better.
POTION OF DOUBLEXPERIENCE: A potion that gives the user double experience points for a very limited time.
You respawn.
You climb through the vent, heading all the way through the castle, and pop out at the East Plarform. You swear you heard something behind you while you were heading through though...
Immortal Wall added!
You do pick up a Supercharged Explosive though.
Unless you can tell me how you turned a full-fledged Psi-Godmodder/First Guardian into a conversation of text, the attack fails.
+6% Affinity!
Scratch quickly turns the pun into a giant shield and uses it to defend himself against Alternate Giant Brain Ghost Vriska!
MST Shield added!
Okay.
PIXELLATED ARCS: A pair of pixellated arcs that look like a cross between the rings of Sonic and the Kolmas of the Aurum. They fire pixellated spikes of energy at foes.
You unlock the Troper's Chest with the Troper's Key and find a rare artifact: the Troper's Gem!
TROPER'S GEM: An insane diamond-like gem that glows with a radiant light. It can only be used once, and upon use, it will solidify with the power of a single trope that will become weaponized and used in battle. Be careful though: the trope it will take the form of is randomly decided!
Wait, who do you cast a Nova Barrier on? You head to the West Platform, past the disoriented guards. They are starting to come out of their stupor...
+1% Affinity!
Supernova Barrier added!
You respawn.
Optic Blasts added!
You trudge through the vent and end up on the West Platform! You can see that the guards there and on the East Platform are regaining their senses...
+11% Affinity!
The passageway in the cavern ends at a circular chamber that appears to contain a quartz column and a defunct Nether Portal.
The spike appears to be covered in rust, and a mystical sound emanates from it. You try to pull it out of the ground and see it suddenly split open and turn into four pieces that fall away and reveal a glowing conduit of energy! You are enraptured in energy and feel yourself flung onto the ground. When you regain your senses, you see that you are near Netpatham's shadow clone and his spike just underwent the same transformation. It looks like you can use these to travel throughout Limbo.
LISU'S LIGHTER: A bow made from flint. It has characters in the Fraser alphabet inscribed on its surface, giving it an odd power. Its arrows are made from steel, and when fired, a spark ignites and the arrows light on fire.
ARMENIAN ALERTBOW: A bow made from a silver metal. It has characters in the Armenian alphabet inscribed on its surface, giving it an odd power. It can produce EAS tones from hidden speakers to disorient enemies.
+4% Affinity!
Diamond Armor added!
West Guard killed!
FALLEN STALKER: A dull, rusted, monochrome version of the X-Stalker that flickers with an unearthly grey energy.
Garnet && Amethyst && Pearl && Rose Quartz = Fuchsite (Level 4: 1/5)
You equip Super Armor!
Which pit? There are four!
As you turn around to enter the vent, you stare in complete fear at the hulking shape in front of you... It looks like an animatronic, but old and worn, and most grotesquely, with human body parts trapped inside! You have been accosted by the one and only Springtrap.
D&D Shield added!
+12,000 HP to the Owl Effigy!
Wrench && Azure Essence = Builders United (Level 10: 1/11)
You can't cheat and bring a bomb to your position!
Allotrope Octet && Fluorite Decad = Allotrope Decad (Level 10)
Allotrope Octet || Fluorite Decad = Allotrope Eight-Tens (Level 8)
The first one makes ten ten-sided dice, the second one makes eight ten-sided dice.
+5% Affinity!
You open the chest. It contains a blueprint of a quartz column with a hidden mechanism on it that will activate if hit by a hand.
Me too.
You punch an East Guard. You deal 3,000 damage and fail to knock him in the pit. You then try to head to Access Point 2, but Springtrap stands tall and intimidates you, blocking your path!
Lapis Armor added!
6,000 damage to two East Guards!
Fseftr's Split Simulation && Computer-to-Biological Virus Convertor && Virus Gun = The Splitter (Level 50)
BASEMETAL KATANA: A very primal sword that is forged from voidmetal and has the power of the six base aspects of magic in a form so pure that it's almost as if they were channeled from their first incarnations in the beginning of the world.
Stygian Barrier added!
2,500 damage to a West Guard!
You flee from Springtrap and enter the Main Hall. When you turn to look back, static fills your vision and Springtrap moves closer.
Potato Shield added!
7,000 damage to an East Guard!
It is the perfect crime. No one will know.
You only have room for one, so you only take one! You grab a Supercharged Explosive while back in the Entrance.
Original Spaceships added!
Brick Wall added!
Hate Wall added!
Which vent? There are two!
Didn't I say HEX doesn't... Ugh. Starting to sound like a broken record.
The Everyman gains some alchemies!
You can't instantly materialize alchemies!
+7,000 HP to the Owl Effigy!
You enter Access Point 2, equip the Supercharged Explosive, and set it inside the Explosives Pedestal! You stay in there and notice that there appears to be a vent in the wall that will lead you east, all the way to the Access Points at the other side of the castle! A nifty shortcut if you choose to take it...
Cerberus > Fine = The White Glove (Level 7: 2/8) Bow && Fever Syringe && Iroha Uta Scroll = Uta Desu Fever Bow~ (Level 6: 1/7) Bow && GACIHB Virus && Iroha Uta Scroll = Uta Desu Robot Bow~ (Level 6: 1/7)
West Guard killed!
You can't.
You respawn.
You knock 2 East Guards into a pit!
> Amperz4nd: BATTLE TECHNIQUE => LV. 10 ATOMIC BLITZ - BLITZKRIEG
West Guard killed!
You fly over Limbo and find a jagged ravine filled with an unearthly light that seems to stretch for a long way, like a cut in the earth. You descend down to it and see several souls near the edge.
You attempt to head to Access Point 1 but are blocked and intimidated by Springtrap!
Potion of Doublexperience OOO Gunpowder = Splash Potion of Doublexperience (1/2)
Zombie Guards added!
8,000 damage to an East Guard! +3,000 HP to the Streamer!
INSIDIOUS FIXTURE: An insidious device that is decorated with purple crystals. It will produce light and give the effects of insanity on anyone who goes near it, clouding their vision with shadow demons. It can also be used as a focus point for teleportation devices.
THE NEW 52: A complete deck of cards with very special properties. Its hearts cards are fueled with fire, its diamonds cards with air, its clubs cards with earth, its spades cards with water, and its joker cards with life and death. Upon use, a random card will be drawn from the deck and its effects will be used in battle.
Needlewands && Peppermint Northern Lights && Enderpearl = Borealsticks (Level 6: 5/7) Balltergeist's Blues ~~~ Loom = Blue Ghost Gauntlet

BLUE SUN BEDSHEETS: A set of bedsheets depicting blue suns.
Do you mean 1/1?
Me too, man. Me too.
You head back to the East Hall and remember that the explosives are in the Entrance. Thankfully, some people have explosives already and all you need is one more to win.
> The_Nonexistent_Tazz: BATTLE TECHNIQUE => LV. 10 UNCLOSEABLE - THE RELEASE
East Guard killed!
You attempt to head to Access Point 1, but the West Guards block your path!
The King quickly descends from the sky and blocks the attack with his Majestic Crown!
+3,000 HP to the Owl Effigy!
BOREALSTICKS: A pair of black wands with green and purple stripes circling throughout them. They crackle with the magical energy of peppermints, the northern lights, and ender energy.
You shouldn't give me ideas...

Hey... fseftr, just remember not to forget your comb rave.

—
You stated two runic incantations afterwards, to the effect of 'dissipate,' and 'bind.' So there were indeed three. I'm essentially saying that you don't want to illuminate the place, unless you have a deathwish. There is a reason I opt to dimly illuminate nearly every room in the Citadel, and usually avoid direct light. But, yes. Let's ignore this ever happened.
Anyhow, forward does appear to be the only way to go. The examination of the pedestals and chests is still an option, if you choose to do so. But, you walk towards the door.
What will you do?
Awwright.
