To make it easier for you Twin, I'll just do an RP post. However, do I have explosives or do I have to get them from somewhere?
Ugh, this editor... it refuses to keep the tags on Wilson's text. It doesn't look right...
I didn't think it would be that bad, sorry...
Wilson starts to shuffle somewhat uncomfortably.
Sorry, I just wanted to do something like that for a while now. I thought this was a good excuse. Valentine's Day is just to sell random merchandise. As for your question... ehh...
He thought about mentioning Inari, but he didn't particularly trust her. He also thought about mentioning Willow, but he had no idea who she really was.
Battlefield:
Eric nods, and waves Astria to follow him. Look out... I think that's flux goo.
He pulls out a small device, and a small platform of light pink light expands out from it and descends to a few inches above floor level.
He gets up on it, taps the middle, and the small hovering platform expands a little. Eric shuts off his lightsaber and clips it on his trench-coat and helps Astria onto the floating hover-plate.
Keep an eye out... This place has lots of loose magic floating around.
The disc begins to hover forward, just above the flux goo and anything dangerous that might be on the floor, slowly moving forward.
Wilson's shop:
Sanford shakes his head, Nonono, its fine. It was pretty impressive. We all need something to celebrate in times like these. And don't mind Deimos, he's had something like that coming to him for a while now.
I think he expected it be worse.
Probably.
They listen to Wilson answering the question
Hmm, no one?

I'm SO SORRY this post exists. However, it is a nullpost (which still clogs up the forum, thus the reason I'm apologizing), and has no bearing on the current plot whatsoever. Still, I apologize; I should be flogged with a solid unobtainium newspaper for merely entertaining the thought of creating this post.
Upon your (your as in Astria and Eric's) collective decision to enter the citadel, the doorway within the door seems to loom over you both. It is evidently the way to pass through. The aforementioned staircase downwards, present at the end to the passage connected to the doorway, is rather narrow. Walking down, one might find that there appears to be an eldritch liquid seeping in from the floor above, staining the stone, dripping onto the floor. The walls are lined with alcoves containing the occasional tome, and bits of thaumic devices are strewn about on the stairs. Rather dangerous, as some of those things could kill you. Anyhow, the travel down the staircase is remarkably uneventful. The floor below opens up to the right, revealing a long, medium-sized hallway towards a door. The structure of the hallway is rather odd. The occasional candle lights the way, dimly illuminating what appear to be moving shapes on the other end of the hall. You cannot determine for certain what they are, or if they exist whatsoever; it is too dark. A sizable hole has been blown into the roof of the left side of the hallway, near the very beginning (your present location), vaguely revealing an alchemical laboratory. The Red Disaster appears to have shaken the Alumentum within the Alchemical Furnaces excessively, resulting in an explosion which sundered the Vis Purifiers on the Alembics. Flux Goo appears to have leaked out from this exposed point, and is presently lying in a massive puddle in the dim hallway; it utterly coats the floor, making it a necessity to traverse through it to reach the other end of the hall. It is rather difficult to see anything in general, and is deathly silent. Something appears to shift in the light of a candle approximately twenty meters forwards.
What will you do?
EDIT:
The device seems to function. As you attempt to traverse the goo, however, the little thing abruptly shuts down. The platform disappears. Something does not appear to be right here... Regardless, Flux Goo won't kill you with direct contact, assuming there is a watertight barrier in between your bare skin and the goo. You'll be fine walking through it.

(serpent: if you're ever able to just come back and check the things going on more than once a day, I'd appreciate it. Its okay if you can't, I'm just a little bit paranoid about time.)
The platform flickers, and dips for a second, almost touching the goo.
Eric taps it with his foot and moves back out from over the flux goo. That... That is not a good sign. I didn't want to touch that before, and now I definitely don't. I hope that was just a glitch in my hoverdisc, but if it wasn't, whatever's gone wrong can mess with high-level technomantic systems.

The goo remains, harmlessly existing on the floor.
Anyhow, Astria points the flashlight down the hall, in the direction of the flickering of the candle. The beam of light passes over what appears to be a rusted, rather decrepit golem constructed entirely of Voidmetal, pinned to the wall by means of a spike imbedded in its chest, effectively nailing it to the wall. Of course, this is not the source of the flickering. Whatever that golem was, it has been deactivated for hours, enquier, even. Nay, the flickering came from another source entirely. All that can be seen is the swish of inky black robes before whatever the source of the flickering vanishes from sight.

Runic magic. Quite the way to illuminate something. Especially since there are at least fifty different illumination spells I can think of off of the top of my head that do twice as much for far less of the costs. Never mind. It is not my place to be chastising you on your arcane methods for illuminating rooms, and I apologize. Anyhow, the second the runic marking is willed into existence, it is made evident that whatever entities are here do not want to be seen. The illumination functions for under a nanosecond, until the marking is literally devoured by shadows before your very eyes. Gradually, the two of you feel the air get colder in a direction behind your current fields of vision.

((quick note erelye: It would take a cloud of solid darkness to counteract the rune-spell. The reason Eric uses rune magic is because only a very, very select few things can interfere with runic magic, as its based in the basic material of of reality itself. Piono was only able to break Eric's runes because he knows how runic magic works, and when the Narrative is very intense, sometimes runes will fizzle, but runes can't be disrupted that easily, especially by the whatever-it-is, since it almost certainly has no idea what runic magic is. Going to let you revise your post after knowing this, plus I want to give serpent time to react))
