CC: Also just another announcement for the Arena, there's still time to join, the first battle is a great place to make yourself known among the arena fans.

Lash: Attacks with a burning code tendril. Deals 2,000 damage to a target and inflicts GLITCH for 2 turns.
Convulse: Launches out bits of code. Deals 1,000 damage to three random targets.

Primed: The next hit on this entity deals 1.5x damage. If the next attack on the entity is done by the source of the effect, it deals x2 damage instead.
Glitch: 50% chance to fail doing an action. Failure to act results in taking up to 10% of your Max HP as damage. (Max damage: 10k)

GA: OKAY IT'S TIME TO ATTEMPT TEACHING PEOPLE TO FIGHT.
GA: Or maybe, if Cryptic doesn't want the citizens to fight, I can re-purpose it and create robo-knights or something.

I sticky-jump up to the Airship Shadowblaze, and cleave a Trainsawlaser hammer straight through it! It explodes violently, catching the Airship Black Inferno in a fireball! The debris from both airships fall upon the Spire Projection!

CD: ...So let me get this straight. Smashing everything that seems hostile to bits is your idea of a good solution. Am I not wrong to say this?
CD: Honestly thought you'd be smarter than that, but eh, who am I to judge?
CD: Still, reckless destruction rarely gets anybody anywhere. Be glad I'm not really considering that as a provocation...
CD: They were corrupted after all. And weak. And were probably doomed right from the get-go. So yeah. Blaming RNG.

Anyway, I feel like since the Mythical Repairs alchemiter upgrade will go underused, it might be good to explain it a bit more/make improvements to the system.

First things first, the thing to remember about this upgrade is that you need a relic. Base relics that take a single charge to complete can be used, but typically won't be as powerful as charged ones. Charging up an expedition to find relics will likely reap relics of greater power. However, beware of the potential drawbacks to relic expeditions... things could happen that may or may not alter gameplay. Like the Sharkman Spirits from my first expedition. These immediately impactful expeditions often yield even greater rewards.

Next off, the actual alchemy. You can have up to 3 gems/souls/other energy-containing items on a relic at once, making it your personalized item. There's many things you could do to charge a relic...
-Give it a variety of elements or one single, more powerful element.
-Give it different special properties, such as (but not limited to) extending when it's swung (Think Smash Bros' Beam Sword).
-Stat increases. AKA Firing/swinging speed, damage, size...
-...
Basically, you can customize them to suit your style. A "Make it yourself" kind of thing.
There's no set alchemy notation yet, so no info on that.

And finally, the charge times. These times will depend on the level of the base relic + the number of enhancements being put on it. Want a simpler formula? Here:
{Base Level}+{Upgrade 1 (1)}+{Upgrade 2(1)}+{Upgrade 3(1)}={Charge Time}
I hope this is a good formula for everyone. If not, it can be changed, no problem.

Base Relics: The relics in their old, rusty/broken/etc. form. Are unpowered, but those that are still active they are very unstable. Relics typically go like this: Shattered Gladius (Lv. 8), or {Name}{Level}.

If you have any ideas on how to improve the system/process, let me know. Discuss it on the discussion thread, blah blah blah.
I'm also doing this late at night, so if you haven't read anything yet, you'll know why it's odd/poorly done. Then again, it might still be good, so... Meh, Idunno. Too tired now. G'night.

Attack fails due to the fog!

At Redstone's request I digistruct a graveyard floating on a separate platform from the main city, but attached by a bridge, It is a place of somber beauty.
On another platform there is the Arena of Aetheria or the Aetharena, whichever people prefer, It shall now hold occasional events, especially on the weekends (more info Here)

Now that I think of it, the Citizens would probably enjoy watching arena battles, I've decided to have the events televised for their enjoyment, plus they might learn a thing or two from watching the fighters.
After some research in the city library, I find some various protection runes, These are then carved around the city and will help protect it from danger.
To finish up the post, I use my elemental powers to whip up some pure lightning, Pure electricity is both efficient and Eco-friendly when used as a power source, thus making Aetheria more "Green" and giving it more power.

Aetheria uses the Beholder's Eye to laser the Terror Bunny!

I've been thinkin' that we might need a spoiler for Aetheria pretty soon... Getting to be a looong list o' things...
Aetherderon will preferably attack PG when able.
Polyp Swarm: Causes polyps to leap off of Aetherderon and attack 3 target entities. If they fail to attack their target, they will find a new one.
Great Call: Deals large amounts of damage to target entity.
Starstrike: Calls a star down from the sky to annihilate a target entity and anything that happens to be around it.
Stare of Immortality: Causes the afflicted entity's next attack to fail.
Dead yet Dreaming: Aetherderon will 'kill' himself, and return in 4 rounds at half his max health and free of effects (positive and negative). Spoil of War is not dropped. (Cools while he's alive)
Spoil of War - The Great Horn: Can be used to summon a spectral stampede of... things to attack a specific target, damaging it and anything that happens to be close to it! (IE things that just attacked it up close, related entities, etc.) Cooldown of 5.

The artifacts will have to be found, and the forging time is longer, and you need a non-weapon/accessory item to power it up (up to 3 can be used on one artifact), but the payoff should really be worth it. Perhaps... level + [power-up amount] for charge times. Can change if too weak or unbalanced.

A massive core for a deathstar, hosting basic means of generating energy, storing energy and the headquarters of a deathstar. The brain and heart if you so will.
Generates 1 (+1 per tier past 1) energy per turn, stores up to 5 (+3 per tier past 1) energy.
Allows players to use their charge(s) to instead supply the deathstar with energy at a 2 -> 1 conversion rate.
Restores 30% of its total base HP each turn. current regeneration factor: ???
The entire deathstar explodes violently, heavily damaging anything in vicinity, if the core of it dies.
The core has the lowest pirioty for incoming attacks, being only damaged when neither buildings or shields are alive, and has the highest pirioty of repairs, being the first thing to be repaired, before shields.

Useless on its own, combined with a hull it makes a deathstar.

Buildings have medium pirioty for incoming damage, being only damaged when no shields are alive, and have around low pirioty (depending on the building) for repairs, being repaired after the core and the shield.

Granger lectures everyone on the mechanics of her invention: "Basically, a Deathstar has 3 layers, like a onion. You remove the outer layers first, then the inner ones. Its purpose is first and foremost to protect the things on its hull but it can hold massive firepower aswell, given the correct upgrades for that." This causes confusion and headaces among the dumber listeners.

-Strafe (Guns) III: Has a nice chance to hit an evasive, grounded target with some of its guns (30-35%)(Passive)
-Bombing Run: Can drop bombs on grounded or seaborne foes/buildings for heavy collateral damage. 3-turn reload. (2/3)
-Missile Barrage: Can fire missiles at any foe/building for moderate-heavy damage. 3-turn reload. (2/3)
-High Explosive (HE) Bullets B3: Because there are so many guns on this plane, it has no trouble dealing damage to any target and causing huge fires.
-Formation: Doesn't matter, they don't suffer collateral damage anyway. They can spread apart (4 low-power attacks) or become close together (1 high-power attack) at will.
-Parts: Can suffer engine failures (+30% chance to catch fire), wing damage (-10% evade/-5% armor), fuselage damage (-10% evade/-5% armor), and tail damage (-10% evade/-5% armor).
-Repairs: Any plane can, when destroyed, return to the hangar for repairs. They will return in 3 turns, one at a time.

-Squads: Attack Squad: Used for attacking foes and enemy buildings. 5xSF, 4xBB. Defense Squad: Used for defending Aetheria. 5xSF (More on the way)
Seems the black bombers' charges are not done, they do a strafing run on the Terror Bunny (1) and the Spire Projection (3).
The shadow fighters (those on the attack, i.e. 5) set fire to everything using incendiary (In) rounds. Those on defense (the other 5) are circling Aetheria looking for attackers.

Weather...

This "fog", filled with dark energies, devastates both friend and foe. There is no way to remove it, except time.
Weather effects:
-All attacks on anything have a 40% chance of completely missing.
-All attacks do 15% less damage.
-Light weapons will fail to work at all.
Actions...
Something begins manifesting in the dark fog... (4/10)
Defense Planes for Aetheria (3/15)

I test out my new weapon, Black Nothingness *creepy void noises*, against the Terror Bunny... but first I let out a high-volume screech straight towards it to make it incapable of dodging while it covers its ears/is stunned by the sound. I then commence to evade an incoming attack from it by leaping OVER it.
RAGH!
I then flip and slash downwards at the bunny's head from above, and propel myself a bit. And on the way down, I slash twice again on its behind, in a spinning fashion.

And this is only one of many tricks I learned over the last little while.
I then conclude my attack by entering the earth, and coming up from underneath the Terror Bunny, hopefully killing it or greatly injuring it after a powerful impalement.

It seems to have left tears in existence itself within the Terror Bunny.
I also end up absorbing some of its power.

Mayhaps I could keep track of health I absorbed... maybe I could do something with it later. (God, I feel like a vampire now...)
Absorption:

30K HP (from previous turns by NC) + Whatever's been gained by this attack (HP absorbed by normal monsters and bosses. Takes thousands of HP per attack.)
0 SHP (HP absorbed from entities and bosses that resist attacks, and only take 1 or so damage. Excludes the Godmodder.)
Spending absorbed power may allow for special abilities. Only one may be used per turn, besides transformations, which happen automatically.
Conversion factor: 10K HP = 1.2 SHP (Maths! YAY!)
-Surehit: A guaranteed hit against everything except the Godmodder. Cost: 100K HP/12 SHP. Not usable in Strife/arena.
-Ravage: Deals increased damage to any single-entity attack. Cost: 150K HP/18 SHP. Not usable in Strife/arena.
-Enraged Transformation: When energy is low, and provided the cost, can transform into a powerful Wyrm-like creature. Increases physical abilities drastically, but reduces mental abilities. Cost to activate: 50% of HP/SHP, over 200K/24. Can activate in Strife/arena.
-Spirit Mode: When energy is low, and provided the cost, can become one with the spirit, thus becoming one. Increases mental abilities drastically, but reduces physical abilities. Cost to activate: 50% of HP/SHP, over 200K/24. Can activate in Strife/arena.
-Obliterate: When used, this ability may instantly kill any non-boss entity (5%) or deal massive damage to it (70%). It may also deal very little however (25%).
Cost: 500K HP/60 SHP. Not usable in Strife/arena.
-Floating Weapons: Allows every weapon in one's arsenal to float around him/her and act independently - but in control of - the user. Every single weapon affected will attack the enemy, causing loads of pain and death and even more pain. Unlockable. Costs 2.000M HP/240 SHP. Will be usable anywhere once unlocked for no cost.

This ship is made of reinforced obsidian. Its black, obsidian-woven sails and "paddle wings" make for a menacing-looking ship.
HP: 1,000/7,000
Attributes:
-Obsidian Armor: nullifies and reflects all indirect attacks (i.e. Ranged and Magic), but takes 1.5x damage from direct attacks (Melee).
-Torpedo Missile Launch: Can launch a torpedo salvo for massive damage to an enemy. Especially if all of them hit. May hit other enemies and even allies if aimed incorrectly. 4-turn reload. (1/4)

HP: 2,000/14,000
Attributes:
-Wooden Armor: Gives no special resistances. However, it has a serious vulnerability to fire. (2x damage)
-Mobile Repairs (Inactive): Will normally fix the other ships, returning their HP. However, in this corrupted state, it doesn't.
-Shields: Will protect other ships with shields, when corrupted or not. All ships share the same shield.

-Broadside: Fires a full salvo of bombs in the general direction of the foe.
-Repairs (Inactive): The ships would normally return to base for repairs when destroyed for a 5-turn repairs period each, but because of the corruption, all ships destroyed before the fix are lost for good.

MORAL OF THAT STORY IS, NEVER FACE ANYTHING THAT CAN TURN YOU TO STONE WITH A TOUCH IN A STARING CONTEST. AS A VICTORY PRIZE FOR WINNING THE STARING CONTEST, THE TERROR MEDUSA IS BESTOWED WITH AN AVALANCH OF FRAGRANT ROSE PETALS FROM NOWHERE. THESE ROSE PETALS ARE LITERALLY JUST THAT, ROSE PETALS, AND POSSES NO MAGICAL PROPERTIES NOR PHYSICS-WARPING ENCHANCEMENTS, SO THE TERROR MEDUSA FEELS NO NEED TO PREVENT THE RAIN OF ROSE PETALS. THIS PROVES TO BE A FATAL MISTAKE, AS THE MANY ROSE PETALS, IN THE UNHEARD OF QUANTITIES THAT THEY ARE IN, ARE ALTOGETHER TOO MUCH FOR THE TERROR MEDUSA'S FRAME, AND SHE IS LITERALLY CRUSHED UNDER ROSE PETALS. TO AID THE TERROR MEDUSA ESCAPE FROM THE FATE OF SUFFOCATING UNDER LITERAL METRIC TONS OF ROSE PETALS, I LIGHT THE ROSES ON FIRE WITH A CONVENIENT FLAMETHROWER. A MASSIVE BONFIRE IS THE RESULT OF THIS. THE TERROR MEDUSA IS FREED FROM HER PETAL-MADE PRISON, BUT IS ALSO VERY MUCH ON FIRE.

THE TERROR MEDUSA IS NOW CONFLICTED AS TO WHICH IS WORSE: DEATH BY IMMOLATION OR DEATH BY SUFFOCATION.

+1 to sirplop, ebolag and pricy, since I need some way to evenly distribute my charges, and today that happened to be to give them to the people who donated +1.
99/100 for the charge of potential
69/90 for Angel of Death

Goku decides to go after the real threat, and slams Syphon on Aetherderon, running up and stabbing him in the face with his sword, before point-blank-ranging him with a kamehameha.

Arctoae desc: This is a wicked little curved knife, pure white and glimmering with intricate spirals as if crafted by Jack Frost himself. This, however, is of course not possible because the amount of frost magic it harbors would put him to shame. Instant mini-ice-age? You got it. Stick this knife in someone, and watch them freeze solid. And possibly freeze anyone close to them that isn't you.
Instantly.
This is a real cool weapon for a real hard dude.

Er, Piono... you miscounted the totals. Actually, Redstone is indeed the winner. The reason for this is because I somehow went from 38 to 44... what happened there?

Age of an Empire (25/25) +4 from various people, Finally; it's time, Aetheria begins to colonize, there are now dozens of settlements all over the world (and even off the world) that belong to the Aetherian Empire, the city itself expands rapidly, becoming an fitting capital for such a great empire, its new aesthetic is that of a mixed sci-fi fantasy world, where magic and technology are merged seamlessly, I will defer to Sirplop should I need a new title.

I digistruct a simple mecha and jump down to beat up the Spire Projection, while running at it I shoot a plethora of rockets and bullets, after reaching it I let out several kicks and punches before grappling the thing and initiating the self destruct, I safely fly out ant the explosion takes out some nearby PG's (if its dead the attacks instead go at the airships.

(and Jon, in my last post the lasers they were getting weren't the gun kind, they were the painful damaging kind that are made of light or whatever)

Forging...
Frostfire Gladius && Nevermelt Ice && Soul of the Sun && Broken Hero Sword = The Artiquator (Lv. 14: 13/15) (+2 from sources, already applied earlier) DONE!

This weapon can very easily alter weather conditions to become warmer or cooler, all the way past plasma levels of HOTOMGSOHOT, to absolute zero levels of *freezes*. It may also create blizzards and heatwaves with relative ease, with no harmful effects to the owner at all. Of course, it can used to help others too, in the sense that it could make summer or winter occur in a matter of seconds. It's useful as a weapon, too. Impaling someone with this beast of a weapon will either freeze or fry their insides, whichever you prefer. Also cooks meat in seconds.

Nebula Arcanum && Gravity Globe && Tiny Planet && Miniature Black Hole = The Physics Breaker (Lv. 16, 3/17)
Relic Ring [+-] Mind Crystal + Spirit Pearl + Wyrm Scale = Ring of the Dragoon (Lv. 10, 3/11)(Seems it's using the first artifact ever found)
((Don't consider this alchemy notation as official. This is just a placeholder until there's an official one (unless this one becomes the official.)))

Summons...

Legendary Support (18/200)

Entities... (Nerf if to powerful. Buff if too weak.)

Virus Removal (forgot this) Halted, it's not worth doing anymore.

Initiate manual self-destruct sequence on The Flying Roger. Make sure you get the Spire Projection and Gladuis in there too.

Amount: 10/10
HP: 10,000/10,000 x9
7,000/10,000 x1
Abilities:
-Evasive II: Has a large chance not to get hit. (40-50%). Cannot damage foes as easily (-10% attack)(Passive)
-Rapid Fire II: Has a chance to hit a dodging foe (20-25%)(Passive)
-Aerial Takedown: Great at taking down airborne foes. +10% evade against them, +10% damage against them.(Passive)
-High Explosive (HE) Bullets II: Deals moderate damage on impact. Ignores armor. May cause fires.
-Armor piercing (AP) Bullets II: Deals high damage on penetration. May not penetrate thick armor, may go straight through thin armor.
-Incendiary (In) Bullets: Low damage, but a very high chance of causing fires.
-Formation: Close {} (High damage, poor defense) Med {X} (Balanced attack and defense) Far {} (High defense, poor attack)

Amount: 3/4
HP: 14,000/15,000x2
13,000/15,000x1
Abilities:
-Armored: Reduces projectile damage by 15%, melee damage by 40%, magic damage by 5%, and explosives by -10%. Immune to collateral damage.(Passive)
-Demolition: Excels at destroying buildings, no matter how tough. +20% damage reduction against them. +10% damage against them. Cannot suffer thorns or aftermath damage against them.
-Strafe (Guns) III: Has a nice chance to hit an evasive, grounded target with some of its guns (30-35%)(Passive)
-Bombing Run: Can drop bombs on grounded or seaborne foes/buildings for heavy collateral damage. 3-turn reload. (3/3)
-Missile Barrage: Can fire missiles at any foe/building for moderate-heavy damage. 3-turn reload. (3/3)
They will return in 5 turns, one at a time.

-Squads: Attack Squad: Used for attacking foes and enemy buildings. 5xSF, 4xBB. Defense Squad: Used for defending Aetheria. 5xSF (More on the way)

I sent my Attack Squadron to take down the Spire Projection once and for all. The Shadow Fighters (5) use AP shells on it, and the Black Bombers (3) do a Bombing Run on it.

The Black Bomber that was destroyed by a golfball of all things begins its repairs. (1/5)

Weather...

This "fog", filled with dark energies, devastates both friend and foe. There is no way to remove it, except time.
Weather effects:
-All attacks on anything have a 40% chance of completely missing.
-All attacks do 15% less damage.
-Light weapons will fail to work at all.

Absorption:
55.5K HP(HP absorbed by normal monsters and bosses. Takes thousands of HP per attack.)
0 SHP (HP absorbed from entities and bosses that resist attacks, and only take single/double-digit damage.

Actions...
Something continues manifesting in the dark fog... the fog also seems to be disappearing on its own now. (6/10)
Defense Planes for Aetheria (5/15)

I slash Black Nothingness at the Spire Projection not to damage it, but for the holes in reality the slashes would create, causing it to collapse in on itself.

Support...
I help...

REDSTONE, I HAVE UPHELD MY END OF THE BARGAIN. YOU ARE UP A FEW PLUS ONES AND NOW POSSESS A FABELED COPY OF THE HERO'S SWORD. NOW THAT YOU POSSESS NAVITAS NOX, I EXPECT A DUPLICATE FOR MY OWN PURPOSES, AS PER THE DEAL. YOU ARE NOT SO HORRIBLE THAT YOU WILL NOT UPHOLD THIS SIMPLE BARGAIN THAT BASICALLY COSTS YOU NOTHING?

IN ANY CASE, I TAKE OUT THE HERO'S BLADE AND HOLD IT FOR CONVENIENT USE OF DAMAGE BOOSTING, AS IT APPEARS NOT USING ALCHEMIES IS A SIGNIFICANT LIABILITY REGARDLESS OF CREATIVITY. OF COURSE, ALCHEMIES AREN'T EVERYTHING, AND I PROVE IT BY JUST STANDING THERE, HOLDING IT. THE TERROR MEDUSA SUFFERS A PANIC ATTACK AND DIES FROM THE PARANOIA OF MY NEXT ACTION AND HOW TO PROPERLY DEFEND AGAINST A HOMICIDAL ANIMATRONIC WITH A SACRED BLADE.

It'll take a bit. I glow suddenly, then a flash goes through the battlefield as the Navitas Nox is created. Here.
I shoot an energy bolt at a random terror!
Jedaffi Reborn slashes at the Terror Medusa!
Dring Duo MLG snipes the Terror Granite Golem!

Turtle Attack 3/3 (+1 from support) is finished! King Mine Turtle has been summoned! He makes mine turtles chase a random PG entity and blow it up!

I THANK REDSTONE FOR HIS MARVELOUS GIFT OF THE COPY OF THE DUAL ENERGY RIFLES AS PER THE AGREEMENT WITH A SILENT TIP OF MY HAT BEFORE FIELD-TESTING THESE NEW WEAPONS. I DO SO BY USING THE ENERGY WITHIN TO SAFELY SUPERCHARGE MY SYSTEMS AND PASSIVELY IMPROVE THEIR ENERGY TOLERANCE. THE RESULT MAKES ME LOOK LIKE THE FLASH AS I SUDDENLY UNLEASH A FURIOUS BEATDOWN UPON THE TERROR MEDUSA, BACKED BY THOUSANDS OF TERRARIA PLAYERS WHO THINK THE MEDUSA IS AN OVERPOWERED PIECE OF
gorilla, AND IT DOES NOT REST UNTIL THEY ARE STOPPED BY THE THOUSANDS OF TERRARIA PLAYERS WHO DO NOT THINK THE MEDUSA IS AN OVERPOWERED PIECE OF gorilla. ME STOPPING ALONGSIDE THEM IS PURELY COINCIDENTAL.

HINAWA NOTICES THE TWINS AND HEALS THE MORE WOUNDED OF THE DUO, NOT AT ALL DISTURBED BY THEIR APPEARANCE.
