Hey, I know it's going to be a while before I hit the level 20 alchemies, but once I start working on those, I'm going to start funneling 3 +1s into alchemy work every time, so that the rate of alchemy completion doesn't slow down. I may start doing that early and switch to 6 +1s on alchemy work upon reaching level 20s if I start getting enough +1s again, since I sort of want to get off alchemies.
Not as bad as I want to get off my summons, but I'm willing to sacrifice some time.
In fact, this round, just out of impatience, I channeled jondanger's 3 +1s into alchemy.

I spend my time studying the mural I ripped off. I force the Pink-Coloured Novel with Large Text's overwhelming shade of pink into the mural, making it considerably brighter and easier to read (ironically)! (Time reduced, novel destroyed) Done!

I now aware of the wonders of disarming!

I create a platform of spiritual energy using the Spiritblade, allowing me to float very slightly above the ground. I then slowly dirft towards the godmodder, sword weakly extended out in front of me. The godmodder is confused by the overwhelming weakness of the attack! Once I reach him I stare somewhat menacingly at him and tug on his hair very gently. I then gradually float away from the godmodder, the surprise leaving him unable to retaliate. I give him a glare as I slowly pace backwards and fall off my platform.

-Withering Beam: Can fire a beam of pure death at one entity, inflicting DOOM on it. Charges in 3 rounds. DOOM debuff lasts 5 rounds.
-Self-destruct: Upon defeat, will explode in the face of any nearby entity/player.

Debuff Database: DOOM: The affected entity will be instantly killed or will take serious damage once the timer runs out. Bosses may be afflicted as well, but will take significantly less damage from it (Max: 10k).

As I walk up towards the Terror Bunny for an attack, I begin to sneeze. He prepares to evade/block it... unfortunately it was a false alarm.

...Or was it? Then I suddenly let the sneeze out, not only burning it to a crisp (since I'm now a freaking dragon), but knocking it back several miles back, hitting a tree (which was then burned to ashes). But I'm also forced back, smashing into the Terror Medusa. My back was turned, so... yeah. No stoned debuff for me. No life was drained.

I honestly have no clue how to clarify this. Can I get specifics on what to clarify? That'll help a ton.
I'll try to expand on it a tiny bit more in the meantime.
First things first, the thing to remember about this upgrade is that you need a relic. Base relics that take a single charge to complete can be used, but typically won't be as powerful as charged ones. Charging up an expedition to find relics will likely reap relics of greater power. However, beware of the potential drawbacks to relic expeditions... things could happen that may or may not alter gameplay. Like the Sharkman Spirits from my first expedition. These immediately impactful expeditions often yield even greater rewards, or even less great ones. Relics are level 1 minimum, as in, they start at Level 1 and increase in level as you work on (charge up) expeditions. The formula:

Level = 1+{added charge time * 0.75(Rounded)}+{If hazardous impact, up to +3. No hazard/benefit, 0. If beneficial, can go down infinitely.}

The non-maths version:
-Every point of charge results in a level increase of 0.75 from the starting level, 1. If they are decimal numbers, rounding occurs.
-Levels change depending on hazards (More reward)(hostile entities, cataclysmic attacks that damage all) and benefits (Less reward)(Allied entities, heals). The level differences are more levels (risks) or fewer levels (benefits).
-The max level is 25, like all alchemies.
-The maximum charge times will remain at 33, but hazardous relics can go down to a 29 charge time, if you force one upon yourself. Benefits are be unexpected, and can hamper what you would expect to be a good relic. Increasing the charge times even more would prevent these from happening as often and make them impact the relic less, as less charge would have to be used from the relic's main charge.
-Hazards can guarantee that there will be no benefits, but benefits cannot guarantee that there would be no hazards, meaning both can happen at once in this case.

Next off, the actual alchemy. You can have up to 5 gems/souls/gadgets/other trinkets on a relic at once, making it your own personalized item. However, there MUST be at least one power-providing item (Now indicated with light yellow) and at least ONE other trinket (Light blue). Increasing the number of these will lead to higher level weapons (+1.5 per power source, rounded up)(Also note that Power Sources will NEVER affect regular alchemies and additional power sources will give more effects to a Level 25 alchemy as opposed to increasing its level). There's many things you could do to customize a relic...
-Give it a variety of elements for awesome combinations or one single, more powerful element for some heavy hits.
-Give it different special properties, such as (but not limited to) extending when it's swung (Think Smash Bros' Beam Sword).
-Stat increases. AKA Firing/swinging speed, damage, size...
-Access new abilities, find more ways to kill a man, the possibilities are endless.
-Energy sources can give new effects too. Just not very powerful/active ones.
-If no alchemy could ever do something no matter how much you alchemize it, make it from a relic.
Basically, you can customize them to suit your style. A "Make it yourself" kind of thing.
Thus, you can create crazy combos otherwise thought to be unacheivable.
Your relics may also have some... unplanned effects when charged. Nothing that would destroy the relic, but some other effects that you would have to find out for yourself. But the chances of this happening are VERY unlikely. They can be beneficial or detrimental, of varying strengths. Some may not even matter too much, but others could COMPLETELY change your playstyle, for better or for worse.

For now, here's the alchemy notation:
[Relic, Level X] [+-] [Object 1] + [Object 2] + [Object 3]... = [Powered relic, Level X]

And finally, the charge times. These times will depend on the level of the base relic + the number of enhancements being put on it. Want a simpler formula? Here:

I hope this is a good formula for everyone. If not, it can be changed, no problem.

Here's an example of a possible MR alchemy process:

Ruin Search Simulation (1/9) (We want this to be a Lv. 8 weapon, so 1 + 0.75 x 8 = 8 + another 1 from the first 1. So, a 9-turn charge is needed.)

Shattered Gladius (Lv. 8) [+-] Frozen Bauble {+1} + Laser Extension {+1} + Enigmatic Mist Bottle {+1} + Energized Energy Sphere {+1 charge time, +1.5 levels} + Void Fuel {+1 charge time, +1.5 levels} = Edge of the Deep Freeze (Lv. 11, 1/14) (Gained 3 levels from the power sources, gained 5 charge time from everything.)(Heck, you could create a fully power-source oriented item and get more levels per point of charge! You need to sacrifice your other slots for those things, though, as you would only have one slot left for a trinket.)

Once the relic is powered up, it can be used just like a normal alchemy, including being used in other alchemies.

Base Relics: The relics in their old, rusty/broken/etc. form. Are unpowered, but those that are still active they are very unstable. Relics typically go like this: Shattered Gladius (Lv. 8), or {Name}{Level}.

I want these relics to be much different than your regular alchemies, to give the upgrade some sort of use other than just... sitting there collecting dust.
Sorry for the wall of text, but it had to be done. Hope it clears anything up.
Remember, you can make suggestions to improve this upgrade so it's not completely useless.

The Sunstone is an ancient relic used by the phararoh's to keep control of their people. It can have a calming, fear-inducing, inspiring or an effect encouraging anger. It takes an overwhelming effort to remove your gaze from the almost hypnotic artifact.

Spirit of Life && Spirit of Death && Spiritblade: Sword of the Underworld - Level ?? 5/??

The Sword of The Underworld is the embodiment of Spirits, Life and Death. This weapon can control spirits and create them at will. The weapon's force will create ripples that echo through the ground and deal high damage to living entities. The sword allows for altered physical states, allowing the user to seperate their will from their body, allowing for simultaneous attacks on a single target.

As the alchemy starts to complete, you begin to see the tip of a very shiny, iridescent blade. Screams echo through your mind as you try to comprehend what sort of monster originally held this blade. It takes a tremndous amount of willpower to resist the urge to take out the showing tip and shove it in someone to hear their screams, as the sword seems to suggest. You look away.

insert, if you're going to pull a sirplop for tazz, you've gotta specify how many +1s I'm getting.
Also, a note on denito surrexit: the time-stepping is done with Ircucvci. You need to be able to both slow time and flashstep in order to time stepping, as that's just a (admittedly very advanced) combination of the two. Additionally, your inventory is shared between the timeclones, not split, so you can't have more copies of the same weapon through that use.
Additionally, time clones are all linked physically. Any damage that happens to one happens to the others.
Other than that, it's still pretty powerful. It's got some wicked utility uses, but is practically useless in terms of raw firepower.
@Cyan: You aren't even in the bidding. There is absolutely no way you're going to be able to get ahold of it short of making a bargain with whoever wins.

Wow that dark apparition looks evil, as I approach it Balance begins to glow... being in the presence of such darkness its light powers are amplified in order to keep things balanced, Soon it is a blade of nearly pure light, it makes Excalibur and the master sword look evil in comparison.
I let out a flurry of attacks of light, and a few of them even hit, however as it gets weaker balance gets darker, until the darkness and the light are once again equal and the blade will no longer be too effective.

After such a strenuous battle and being in the presence of such darkness, I meditate to rest and rid myself of excess darkness

-Obliterate: When used, this ability may instantly kill any non-boss entity (5%) or deal massive damage to it (70%). It may also deal very little however (25%).

-Floating Weapons: Allows every weapon in one's arsenal to float around him/her and act independently - but in control of - the user. Every single weapon affected will attack the enemy, causing loads of pain and death and even more pain. Unlockable. Costs 2.000M HP/240 SHP. Will be usable anywhere once unlocked for no cost.

-Condensed Shadow Mist: Has an ASTOUNDING 95% evade from every attack, even from "guaranteed hit" attacks and "spraying" attacks. It absorbs darkness- and void-based attacks. Some attacks can hit it more often...
-Withering Beam: Can fire a beam of pure death at one entity, inflicting DOOM on it. Charges in 3 rounds. DOOM debuff lasts 5 rounds.
-Self-destruct: Upon defeat, will explode in the face of any nearby entity/player.

Debuff Database: DOOM: The affected entity will be instantly killed or will take serious damage once the timer runs out. Bosses may be afflicted as well, but will take significantly less damage from it (Max: 10k).

Defense Planes for Aetheria (10/15)

Seems that the Terror Medusa's vulnerable...
With my physical eyes closed, I open my "mind's eye" and tear through the Terror Medusa while dual-wielding BN and Foresight (FS), thus exposing and hitting critical areas and evading any attack thrown at me. And that meteor I hit? That circled the earth and hit the Terror Medusa on the side of the head. Life is forcefully not absorbed.

First things first, the thing to remember about this upgrade is that you need a relic. Base relics that take a single charge to complete can be used, but typically won't be as powerful as charged ones. Charging up an expedition to find relics will likely reap relics of greater power. However, beware of the potential drawbacks to relic expeditions... things could happen that may or may not alter gameplay. Like the Sharkman Spirits from my first expedition. These immediately impactful expeditions often yield even greater rewards, or even less great ones. Relics are level 1 minimum, as in, they start at Level 1 and increase in level as you work on (charge up) expeditions. The formula:

Level = 1+{added charge time * 0.75(Rounded)}+{If hazardous impact, up to +3. No hazard/benefit, 0. If beneficial, can go down infinitely.}

The non-maths version:
-Every point of charge results in a level increase of 0.75 from the starting level, 1. If they are decimal numbers, rounding occurs.
-Levels change depending on hazards (More reward)(hostile entities, cataclysmic attacks that damage all) and benefits (Less reward)(Allied entities, heals). The level differences are more levels (risks) or fewer levels (benefits).
-The max level is 25, like all alchemies.
-The maximum charge times will remain at 33, but hazardous relics can go down to a 29 charge time, if you force one upon yourself. Benefits are be unexpected, and can hamper what you would expect to be a good relic. Increasing the charge times even more would prevent these from happening as often and make them impact the relic less, as less charge would have to be used from the relic's main charge.
-Hazards can guarantee that there will be no benefits, but benefits cannot guarantee that there would be no hazards, meaning both can happen at once in this case.

Next off, the actual alchemy. You can have up to 5 gems/souls/gadgets/other trinkets on a relic at once, making it your own personalized item. However, there MUST be at least one power-providing item (Now indicated with light yellow) and at least ONE other trinket (Light blue). Increasing the number of these will lead to higher level weapons (+1.5 per power source, rounded up)(Also note that Power Sources will NEVER affect regular alchemies and additional power sources will give more effects to a Level 25 alchemy as opposed to increasing its level). There's many things you could do to customize a relic...
-Give it a variety of elements for awesome combinations or one single, more powerful element for some heavy hits.
-Give it different special properties, such as (but not limited to) extending when it's swung (Think Smash Bros' Beam Sword).
-Stat increases. AKA Firing/swinging speed, damage, size...
-Access new abilities, find more ways to kill a man, the possibilities are endless.
-Energy sources can give new effects too. Just not very powerful/active ones.
-If no alchemy could ever do something no matter how much you alchemize it, make it from a relic.
Basically, you can customize them to suit your style. A "Make it yourself" kind of thing.
Thus, you can create crazy combos otherwise thought to be unacheivable.
Your relics may also have some... unplanned effects when charged. Nothing that would destroy the relic, but some other effects that you would have to find out for yourself. But the chances of this happening are VERY unlikely. They can be beneficial or detrimental, of varying strengths. Some may not even matter too much, but others could COMPLETELY change your playstyle, for better or for worse.

For now, here's the alchemy notation:
[Relic, Level X] [+-] [Object 1] + [Object 2] + [Object 3]... = [Powered relic, Level X]

And finally, the charge times. These times will depend on the level of the base relic + the number of enhancements being put on it. Want a simpler formula? Here:
{Base Level+1}+{Upgrade 1 (1)}+{Upgrade 2(1)}+{Upgrade 3(1)}...={Charge Time}
I hope this is a good formula for everyone. If not, it can be changed, no problem.

Here's an example of a possible MR alchemy process:

Ruin Search Simulation (1/9) (We want this to be a Lv. 8 weapon, so 1 + 0.75 x 8 = 8 + another 1 from the first 1. So, a 9-turn charge is needed.)

Shattered Gladius (Lv. 8) [+-] Frozen Bauble {+1} + Laser Extension {+1} + Enigmatic Mist Bottle {+1} + Energized Energy Sphere {+1 charge time, +1.5 levels} + Void Fuel {+1 charge time, +1.5 levels} = Edge of the Deep Freeze (Lv. 11, 1/14) (Gained 3 levels from the power sources, gained 5 charge time from everything.)(Heck, you could create a fully power-source oriented item and get more levels per point of charge! You need to sacrifice your other slots for those things, though, as you would only have one slot left for a trinket.)

Once the relic is powered up, it can be used just like a normal alchemy, including being used in other alchemies.

Base Relics: The relics in their old, rusty/broken/etc. form. Are unpowered, but those that are still active they are very unstable. Relics typically go like this: Shattered Gladius (Lv. 8), or {Name}{Level}.

I want these relics to be much different than your regular alchemies, to give the upgrade some sort of use other than just... sitting there collecting dust.

Remember, you can make suggestions to improve this upgrade so it's not completely useless.

AFTER A FEW SECONDS OF THIS, THE WORK IS COMPLETE; THE GRAND MIRROR OF FAZBEAR, POSSESSING REFLECTIVE POWERS BEYOND ALL REASON.

THE CREATION OF THIS MASSIVE MIRROR DOES NOT GO UNNOTICED; HOWEVER, IT'S HYPER REFLECTIVE PROPERTIES RENDER ATTACKS ON IT INCREDIBLY STUPID, AS ANY ATTACK THAT DOES TRY TO STRIKE IT SIMPLY GETS REFLECTED AWAY, A MIRROR OF IT SPAWNING AND STRIKING IT BACK. I QUICKLY GET BACK, TILTING MYESLF BACKWARDS SUCH THAT THE NAVITAS NOX LASERS BLAST HER CLEAN IN THE FACE, AND PROCEED TO FLY AWAY DUE TO THE TILT WHILE I CONTINUALLY BLAST HER WITH BOTH THE CORRUPTOR STARDUST STAFF AND ARCUM AEREUM. BOTH ATTACKS FROM THESE POWERFUL WEAPONS ARE ONLY BOOSTED BY THE IMPRESSIVE PRESENCE OF THE NAVITAS NOX RIFLES, WHICH IMPROVES THEIR ENERGY AND THUS THEIR MOMENTUM. THE TERROR MEDUSA, THOUGH EASILY INJURED BY THESE ATTACKS, FAILS TO BE SHAKEN AND CONTINUES HER MAD RAMPAGE TOWARDS ME. MEANWHILE, I CONTINUALLY HURL ASSAULTS AT HER AT EVERY CONCEIVABLE SUBJECT WITH EVERY CONCEIVABLE WORD THAT WOULD BE OBSCURED BY A BOLDED GORILLA OR REDIGIT'S GLORIOUS FACE. BOTH OF US ARE FAST AND POWERFUL, SO IT TAKES SEVERAL MINUTES FOR US TO GET CLOSE TO ONE ANOTHER. IN A SURPRISE TWIST, IT IS THE TERROR MEDUSA THAT MANAGES TO OUTSPEED ME, SO IT WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME CLEAR WHO WILL FALL TO WHO. OF COURSE, THIS IS PART OF THE PLAN, AND ANYONE WHO KNOWS THE POWER OF THESE WEAPONS WILL KNOW HOW MUCH RECOIL THEY CAN GIVE.

EVENTUALLY, I HAVE POSITIONED THE TERROR MEDUSA IN SUCH A MANNER WHERE IT WOULD BE PROFITABLE TO PART FOUR OF MY PLAN, AND I THUSLY EXECUTE IT WITH A FINAL, PARTICUARILY VICIOUS TAUNT. THIS TAUNT IS SO VICIOUS, AND FOR THAT MATTER SO LONG-WINDED, THAT NOT ONLY CAN IT NOT BE SHOWN IN ANY PARTICULAR MANNER, BUT THAT IT IS CONSIDERED GROUNDS FOR A DEATH WARRANT IN SOME PARTICULAR CORNERS OF EXISTENCE. NONE OF THEM HAPPEN TO BE IN THIS GENERAL AREA, FORTUNATELY. THE TERROR MEDUSA, HAVING INCREASINGLY GOTTEN FED UP WITH MY PARTICUARILY FOWL LANGUAGE AND FIREPOWER, FINALLY LOSES HER MIND COMPLETELY AND GOES BERSERK, IGNORING ALL CONTRADICTORY ORDERS. HER BERSERKER MADNESS, HOWEVER, HAS UNLEASHED A NEW POWER FROM WITHIN HER SOUL; SHE MAY NOW SPAM A PETRIFY SO POWERFUL THAT SHOULD ANYTHING BE WITHIN A CERTAIN RADIUS, IT WOULD TURN TO STONE INSTANTLY; ITS POEWR IS SUCH THAT IT MAY PETRIFY THE WORLD. HOWEVER, IT MUST BE AIMED, FOR IT IS A POWERFUL LASER, AND IT HAS ONE TARGET; ME. AS WAS THE PLAN.

AS SHE DOES HER BRIEF CHARGEUP FOR THIS PARTICULAR SUPER-PETRIFY, I IMMEDIATELY TILT UPWARDS AND AWAY, WHILE CHARGING UP A PARTICUARILY POWERFUL BOLT FROM ARCUM AREREUM. THE SKIES DARKEN AND CRACKLE WITH INCREDIBLE ENERGY. I DISSAPEAR INTO THE CLOUDS BEFORE THE LASER CAN FULLY CHARGE, AND THE TERROR MEDUSA KEEPS AN EYE TO THE SKY, INTENDING TO PETRIFY ME EVEN THROUGH THE CLOUD. BEFORE SHE CAN UNELASH HER LASER, HOWEVER, MY ATTACK EXECUTES-A MASSIVE THUNDERBOLT, SO POWERFUL THAT HER HEAD IS TILTED DOWNWARDS FROM SHEER IMPACT, AS WELL AS LEAVING A CONSIDERABLY MASSIVE HOLE NEXT TO HER FEET, GOING FAR DOWN AND REACHING THE BOTTOM OF THE WORLD, AN INSTANT HELLEVATOR.

I SUMMON A GAMMA PARTY HAT INTO THE DRILL CONTAINMENT UNIT. ITS POWERS ARE SUFFICIENT TO CONTROL IT, AND IT QUICKLY BEGINS DIGGING OUT MORE OF THE HELLEVATOR CREATED BY THE THUNDERBOLT. I THEN SUMMON ANOTHER GAMMA PARTY HAT, AND GIVE IT THE GIFT OF A STARDUST DRAGON STAFF AND MAXIMIZED SUMMONING POWER; IT SUMMONS THE FORCE OF A FULLY-GROWN STARDUST DRAGON, WHICH QUICKLY DESCENDS TO DESTROY ANY FOE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO ATTACK THE GAMMA PARTY HAT RIDING THE FLYING DRILL AS IT MINES. KNOWING THAT ALONE WILL NOT BE FAST ENOUGH, I MYSELF ALSO JOIN IN, USING MY OWN DRILL CONTAINMENT UNIT AND QUICKLY RAVAGING THE LAND BENEATH THE TERROR MEDUSA TO CREATE A HELLHOLE. HER OWN RESTING PLACE IS NOT TOUCHED, HOWEVER, NOT YET.

EVENTUALLY, OUR COMBINED POWERS BOTH ALLOW US TO REACH THE BOTTOM OF THE WORLD, HAVING CARVED OUT A GRAND HOLE, ONE ANY DWARF WOULD NOT ONLY BE PROUD OF, BUT INDEED CALL THE GREATEST HOLE IN THE WORLD. SUCH POWERFUL HOLE-DIGGING SKILL IS RARELY FOUND. BUT ENOUGH TALK OF THIS SUBJECT; WE SHALL INSTEAD PUT THIS HOLE TO ITS ONE INTENDED USE. WE FLY BACK UP, BOTH KNOWING THAT WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME, BUT ALSO KNOWING THAT WE ONLY HAVE A LITTLE MORE TO DIG. MEANWHILE, AT THE SURFACE, THE TERROR MEDUSA LOOKS TO BE ABOUT READY TO FREE ITSELF, ONLY SECONDS AWAY.

THEN, THE SURFACE UNDERNEATH THE TERROR MEDUSA BECOMES NO MORE TO THE DRILL CONTAINMENT UNITS.

THE TERROR MEDUSA DOES NOT SCREAM AN INDESCRIBABLY LOUD DEATH CRY AND MAKE ANY SORT OF FLAILING; INDEED, IT IS STILL A MASSIVE STONE STATUE, AND JUST LIKE A REGULAR PETRIFIED THING, IT ALSO HAS DRASTICALLY INCREASED FALL DAMAGE WEAKNESS; AND WOULD YOU NOT KNOW IT, THE FALL IS GREAT AND MASSIVE. ITS FINAL THOUGHTS WERE OF THE THOUGHTS IT WOULD HAVE OF FREEDOM, UNAWARE THAT IT WOULD GET ITS WISH IN THE CRUELEST WAY IT COULD POSSIBLY IMAGINE. BY THE TIME IT HITS THE GROUND IN THE UNDERWORLD, IT SHATTERS INTO BILLIONS OF PIECES, TURNING INTO DUST AND LOOT, AND QUITE CONVENIENTLY THE HOLE I HAVE MADE IS RATHER DEVOID OF MAGMA.

((Cyanogynist, I think you misunderstood...I understand that the Omegapause is Level 100. I am saying, quite frankly, that you cannot Alchemize the Omegapause BECAUSE it is level 100. The recipe was given, but the Alchemiter's physical limit is Level 25 and thus you cannot use it to create a Level 100 Alchemy. The reason I got Lord Michael's Hat at Level 50 is because I charged it instead, and I didn't expect it to break level 20, counting the 2K post power. I didn't expect it to be higher than 15, actually. I'm certainly not complaining, but the point stands.))
