Auth glares at the Foundation of Suffering.
Well. This can't stay structurally sound. Or functional. Auth places a bolt into his crossbow, that he has taken off his back. He points the bow at the Foundation of Suffering. A black rope appears at the bolt. Auth fires upon the Foundation, and it is torn out of the ground, flown into the sky and encased in a sphere of ink. Auth makes sure it stays solid, before smiling, relieved that it can't be broken free. Auth wanders over to Marron and Ette. A wonderful performance, Ette! You did really well keeping your side fighting! Auth smiles, before looking sadly at Ette being as torn up as she is. I'm still sad to see that you ended up in such a state, even though I knew it would be so. Auth turns to Marron. Marron, would you be mad if I assisted you in healing Ette? If Auth is turned away, he nods politely, understanding why Marron would be reluctant. If he is permitted, he tends to any larger damage to Ette, with black thread. Auth's sewing skill allowed it to appear that any cuts Ette acquired and Auth healed never happened. Auth takes more care than he usually would, though normally he performs with distinction. Regardless, Auth then speaks to Marron. I disapprove of your Supplier, whoever they are. All they seem to supply you with is... Auth thinks for a moment. Monstrosities in puppetry. To put it very nicely. Auth stares at the Beast. I can understand not wanting that the beast would die, especially if you're riding it. Auth looks sadly. It won't last forever. When it does fall, I'll try to catch you, if I'm able, and if not I'll try and tend to whatever you get. Auth looks back, preparing for the Foundation attack. Now. Another thing about the Correspondence. It is damaging to almost everything, if not written correctly. The sphere collapses, and the Foundation is covered in many Correspondence sigils. If they were sentient, pyrophilia would be something they could be accused of. The Foundation completely bursts into flames. I will not stop this building burning to the ground. It is a foundation. It can be built up. And for the good of my allies, I will not allow it to happen. Auth moves into the burning building, before setting down seven stones. They glow brightly, before Auth leaves. Most will never have the understanding I do. More than that fear the results of experimentation. The Foundation explodes in light, before falling to the ground and collapsing. And I am not afraid to show you the potential repercussions of such an act. Action Summary: Auth improvises Slanderous Ink: Expert on the Foundation of Suffering. Special Attacks: The Masters of London: READY The Armour of Royals: READY +1 to Ire, Trickle. (I'm not sure if Hez/Consumer are even still playing) Originally posted on 2017-02-05 06:07:00 -------------------- They say that there's no rest for the wicked, until they close their eyes for good.
As someone wicked, fundamentally, I disagree. One may always repent. I may have done terrible things in the past. That's why I help this coward now. |

Red Like Roses: 7 / 20 The Cat Beast: 13 / 20 (+2, JOE) +1 to JOE +1 to the Author Current Summons Auth compliments Ette on her performance in combat. She naturally seems happy to receive such praise, and appears to be beaming with happiness. Marron comments on this, proud of her sister. tc: Wasn't she great? I expected nothing less from her. As she takes a moment to stitch together a few more cuts, Auth asks as to whether he can help or not. tc: I'm really not sure... tc: Then again, you've proven yourself to be trustworthy... tc: I guess if Ette is fine with it, then sure. tc: If you screw up though, I will kill you. Ette plops herself down on the ground, sitting cross-legged like a kindergartener. She remains perfectly still as a trained arm and a steady hand fixes her various bits of battle damage up. While Auth does that, Marron decides to give him her thoughts on her "Supplier". tc: I really don't approve of him either. tc: He really wanted to be part of this, despite me telling him to gorilla off. tc: I mean, I guess he's helpful though? Sure, he makes these abominations of string and metal, but they're helpful abominations. The Author then mentions catching her if she falls from her mount. tc: ... The puppeteer's face lights up a little with a flush of red. She sounds both irritated and confused. tc: ...Why do you like me so much? tc: I'm on the enemy team, we're not really friends, and I've kinda been slaughtering your allies. tc: ... tc: If you want to catch me, then sure. Knock yourself out. Once Ette's wounds are mostly patched up, she stands up, shakes the Author's hand if he lets her, and then goes off to perform an "attack". Of course, instead of actually injuring something, she walks over to the Foundation of Suffering, and applies cloth patches to it. These somehow act as bandages, holding together the structure. Then she remembers that somebody set the structure on fire a few posts earlier. She signs in a seemingly random direction, and has a fire extinguisher thrown at her. She snags the device out of midair, and points the nozzle towards the flames. A spray of white later, and the flames have been cleansed. Ette then stitches a few more parts of it together, before taping a lollipop to the Foundation of Suffering and walking away. ...The Lollipop somehow makes it more reinforced, healing it more. Huh. You, with toast's help, summon The Coffee Shop! It costs a +1 to use, as well as the entity in question's action, but doing it will give them the "caffeinated" perk, unless they have drowsy, in which case it will change the effect into "Wide awake" +8000 XP
8000 damage to the Foundation! +10000 XP
You deal 7500 damage to the undamaged angry shark! yikes, brutal. Maybe having two damage buffing artifacts is a bit much... +6000 XP
Combat Special: Bl0xx0r (Basic) You keep your sword at arms distance (is that really the best swordfighting stance...? Whatever.) and your enemy at twice your arms distance, maybe a little more. You are teh master bl0xx0r and you are going to give your opponent the sternest sword-drubbing of their lives. You and your opponent are transported to an ancient arena, the old swordfighting location in the history of old Robloxia, one sword for each of you. They stand there, looking confused, is this a parkour map, or... why are there branching locati-oh hey look I've been bisected from the head down. 3000 damage to the Foundation of Suffering! +5000 XP
You assist in making the Coffee Shop! You summon the Steel-Eating Tiger! +5000 XP
Welcome to the game Darkside! Hope you'll enjoy having regular updates! 8000 damage to the Seamstress. Decapitation sure is painful. +10000 XP
You summon a 25000 health bodyblocking rock. +2000 XP
You apply burning for 3 rounds to the rock and the foundation. +6000 XP
Seamstress insta-gibbed. Pieces of it go everywhere. Ick. +9000 XP
Well yeah, it's supposed to be annoying but not huge. I'm thinking I might apply an XP penalty to people with leveling systems because they seem to have the potential to get VERY powerful alarmingly quickly. +2000 xP
You deal 5000 damage to the Rock, which is very annoyingly in the way almost any direction you come from. +7000 XP
Combat Special: Slanderous Ink (Expert) Correspondance, a beautiful thing. Rewriting the laws of existence merely through your own pen and whatever you happen to be writing on. Paper is for ordinary people and dissertations. You dash forwards with your trusty blade and begin carving ink into the sides of your target. One sigil, another, even more. The first begins to burst into flame before you even finish writing all of them. You continue along, one after another, before finally coming to a stop, watching in satisfaction as your opponent burns with an unnatural fire. The Rock gets in the way again, 7000 damage to the Rock. +9000 XP
You heal 3000 health to the Foundation and remove a round of burning. +7000 XP
#Angrybleating +2000 XP
you respawn. +2000 XP
The Seamstress is unfortunately dead. Your charge is vetoed on grounds of that combination allowing your lasso to basically function as indefinite healing. There's no way that can go through in a balanced form. You'll have to repurpose the charge. +2000 XP Battlefury levels up: Level 5! Combat Special unlocked: Every End (Basic and Advanced) EoTB: The Reapers charge out and tear into the injured angry shark and deal 1500 damage to it leaving it bleeding and flopping all over the ground. The Steal Eating Tiger chooses its prey carefully... except it doesn't because its target is airborne and thus not targetable by a melee entity, which the Steel Tiger is. The Sheep bleat angrily and charge at the fire demons. There is much burnt wool in the clash, but one of the fire demons takes 5000 damage. The Enraged Shepherd swings and swings at the Winged Beast, and his crook connects, dealing 5000 damage to it! The Angry sharks decide they're angry enough to go for a hot meal, and thusly go after the fire demons, dealing 2000 damage to all four of them. The Winged Beast shrieks and swoops towards the ground at high speed. The Enraged shepherd on the end of the chain takes a whopping 20000 damage, and staggers to his feet, dazed for 2 rounds. The Fire demons retaliate against the sharks for rampaging their numbers and brutally eviscerate the wounded one, and then use its corpse to beat one of the others to death. The Simumodder looks over at the sharks. There's way too much going on the battlefield right now, and one of the ways to resolve that is by removing an unnecessary faction. He takes out the largest sushi knife he has in his inventory and prepares the best meal some of you have seen in a while. Expecting him to share? Well he does, but only with Joe and Ire. This gives them both a +2. Everything counts down. Itinerary: Regain the entity advantage! Destroy the fire monsters! Destroy Ette, she's a pretty powerful healer. Come to think of it, just break everything Marron summons until she's not single handedly the reason you don't have entity advantage. Defend the Shepherd, there's more to him than meets the eye. 15 9/15.
20 2/20. +2 to Battlefury. There is a legend in the ancient culture of Between. It tells of a terror of the skies, who would soar over the land on leathery wings. It would remain Airborne, spewing hatred and spite on all that opposed it, far beyond the reach of their weapons. With the lack of weapons to combat such a foe, the inhabitants of Between were powerless to stop it. However, the legend also speaks of an event, known as the Turning of the Tables. An event which would mortalise the winged terror, and leave it vulnerable to those on the surface. Here is an excerpt decribing the event from The Book of Halfway (the archive of Between's history and mythology): "Leathery wings sail over us, close enough to touch. Back into the sky it flies, and now we are one less. Beak of metal whispers the sweetest lies, before taking wing and soaring to the skies. Our kin is dropped from Fate's Height, (investigation revealed this to be the name of a mountain on Between) and it is the last time she shall see the light. As she falls, a phrase tumbles from between her lips, and the Winged Terror's skies seem to flip. Now she is falling, in the other direction, you see, for Terror's reign is now below she. She lands on its back, forces it to the ground, for fate itself had turned around." Analysis of this passage, and cross-referencing with similar literature revealed that she had done something extraordinary, and flipped the sky, putting her into a position to incapacitate the beast, and bring it to the ground. From there, the rest of those of Between were able to slay the beast. But as everyone would know, legends are always more than just legends. As this legend was told, a similar hero had used the same tactics to take down the Winged Beast in this reality, pinning to the ground. (In case the legend wasn't clear: Hero was taken by the terror, then taken up to the highest point on Between. Hero does magicky stuff. The sky flips upside down, and she uses that to pin the beast to the ground, where it was slain.) [This action is intended to take the Winged Beast out of the sky, and hopefully reduce its dodge, too.] Originally posted on 2017-02-06 20:25:00 |

20 2/20. +2 to Battlefury. With the Winged Beast presumably vulnerable, the Steel-Eating Tiger licks its lips and digs in. If that is dead already, I guess it'll grab some coffee somehow. Tables rain onto the Winged Beast, puncturing it's wings and embedding themselves into the ground below. One particularly magnificent table covers the Winged Beast's torso. Slowly but surely, the tables slow it down beneath a mountain of birch, oak and pine. Originally posted on 2017-02-06 21:20:00 |

She awkwardly dismounts her ride, and then uses Huntress (Basic) on the Steel Eating Tiger! Once it's properly de-legged and immobile, she plops a time bomb that she got from somewhere a few feet away from its face. +1 Sp33d, +1 Emerald
Explosive Potential (3/20) [UPGRADE] Just wants to be famous (3/20) --- 'Splodimus looks across the field, seeking his next target. Unfortunately, the Foundation of Suffering was his next target, to many's dismay (And by that I mean JOE and Marron). He grins as he sees the futile attempts to deter their opposition from attacking it by using a rock of all things. And we all know what explosives do to rocks and buildings, right? Riiiight. So 'Splodimus breaks out his drill. It was massive in size; easily 3 feet in diameter for the bit; and it was drilled straight into the Rock at breakneck speeds. It gets worse as he bores through the stoney surface after what seems like 30 seconds. The rock's surface was shockingly hard. But upon tearing into the depths of the mineral-rich stone, it was clear that the inside was very soft compared to the exterior, being drilled through with ease until it was just deep enough in that something could be done to it. Taking out a bunch of noticeably smaller drills, he then digs out around 20 half-foot holes into the core of the stone. He packs in a very orange substance, known only as Volatile Powder, made from Core Fragments. He bores another 20, and stuffs barrels of gunpowder into them. Full barrels worth of Gunpowder compressed into this relatively tiny hole. What was scarier was the fact that he also bored a hole even further through the center, and placed a full sphere of Plutonium into it. It was very unstable, waiting to explode at a slight provocation from anything. The unstable plutonium was held in place by some sort of plastic that covers up where the hole was drilled. Said plastic covered up not only the plutonium itself, but also had a tube of sorts reaching to outside the rock. The rock's hole was covered by this plastic. The tube was closed off. "Y'all really thought that introducin' a stone at th' same time as a user of 'splosives was a good idea. How rich." Cue ignition of match. "Wave g'bye to yer 'meat'shield! 'Cause I'm gonna glass this thing!" A trail of gunpowder pours out below the plastic cap on the rock, and 'Splodimus drops the match onto it. The flame climbs up and into the rock, and numerous explosions are heard inside it, presumably the gunpowder and volatile powder being chain-exploded within. It was loud. The explosions emitted a bright light from within the rock, even though it shouldn't be visible from anywhere except from the crevices between the plastic. The rock wasn't knocked back at all from the blast inside. Then, 'Splodimus opens up the plastic tube's stopper, and inserts a Core Fragment partially into it. All that was left to hit it with the hammer. He does so, launching the core fragment through the tube at practically the speed of sound. The explosion should have been big and spectacular, so feared that none would even want to go NEAR the Foundation of Suffering due to the monstrous amounts of radiation. But, the explosion stayed within the rock completely, except with a ton more Gamma radiation emitted from the nuclear explosion that phased through the rock, uncaring for your normal physical boundaries. This, of course, left the Rock a radiation-infused mess, weakening as time went on. The outer layer of the rock was left intact...? Seems a little odd. However, all became clear when 'Splodimus picked/ripped it up from the ground, held it skyward, and smashed it down really quickly, shattering the rock into millions of glass-like pieces, with none of the insides of the rock remaining from the glassing. The fact that 'Splodimus glassed the rock with no long-lasting mess is really freakish, clearly having some control over the way these explosives behave. And he wasn't kidding when he said he'd glass the rock; it literally turned to a thin layer of glass from the pressure of the explosives. The shards of rock blow away in the wind, scattering across the simulation. Originally posted on 2017-02-06 22:51:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

Primary weapon: X-Corpse Shooter
Secondary weapon: Corpse Piercer Tertiary weapon: Corpse Blaster Armor: NA I should probably not miss this turn too. The Fairview Survivor cracks her knuckles, pumps the Corpse Blaster shotgun once or twice, and prepares her attack. Since Rock is presumably still in the way, she charges in to blast it, stepping back at the last moment so she can get a better shot on it... Then, she realizes that it is, in fact, a regular rock. "...Seriously?" Well, she'd love to get past it, but the rock is in the way. There appears to be no way past it, too. She shrugs, then unloads a single shot of shotgun shells into the surface of the rock, pumps the blaster, and fires another round. Shotgun hits tend to be very strong knockback in DF, so her shot sends the rock flying backwards and tumbling away, crashing into the wall of the foundation. The rock proceeds to explode into a series of confusions on how it can block itself from damaging the foundation. What makes it worse is that it didn't get away from the foundation before it exploded. So now it has to bodyblock even more damage. And explode from the damage it's trying to block. See where I'm going with this? ...No, wait. Apparently FVS just put a grenade there. Well. That's boring and mundane. Red Like Roses: 9 / 20 The Cat Beast: 20 / 20 +1 to JOE +1 to the Author Current Summons Another mechanical puppet-y monstrosity dashes onto the field, nearly knocking over Marron as it runs by. This one seems to be almost entirely mechanical, however; the only bit of cloth that adorns this cat-like beast is a burlap sack. It seems that this particular creature craves blood, if the singular glowing red eye wasn't a give away... The Cat Beast [PS - Ire] Hp: 60,000 / 60,000. 0 / 5 Bloodlust. Abilities: Mark: Rakes a target with a fork-like claw with a wicked edge, dealing 2,000 damage to them. Inflicts Bleeding on them for three turns. The Hunt: Violently charges and pounces on a target before ripping into them, dealing 15,000 damage to them. Can only be used on Bleeding targets. Deepen Wound: A claw is slashed at a pre-existing wound, causing 7,000 damage to the target, while also adding three duration to the target's Bleeding. Can only be used on Bleeding targets. Bloodlust: Fueled by a lust for blood, the Cat Beast goes crazy and attempts to spill as much blood as possible. Deals 12,000 damage to all Bleeding foes. Passives: Bloodhound: When targeting a bleeding foe, ignore all evasion the target may have. Marron looks at her new ally. tc: Please tell me this is the last of your kind. tc: I've seriously had enough of creepy, edgy mechanical things. Given the properties of the beast, Marron opts to make something bleed. A lot. She lunges forward towards the Steel-Eating Tiger, and pulls out a knitting needle. She performs a series of jabs on the beast, needles between her fingers. These needles stab into the skin of the tiger, letting the blood flow freely outward. She then kicks the tiger onto its side, and stitches a bit of razor wire into the skin of the tiger, creating a criss-cross pattern across the skin of it. She then grabs hold of the razor wire using her puppet arm to prevent herself from bleeding, and pulls upward on the wire. A burst of blood and skin comes up with the wire, creating a tantalizing treat for the Cat Beast! Just to increase the amount of bleeding that happens, Marron also gouges out the eyes of the tiger with a much-thicker knitting needle, that seems to be covered in a deadly poison! The poison infects the tiger's bloodstream, with a special infection that causes EVEN MORE BLEEDING. Once there's a rather sizable pool of blood on the ground, Marron leaves the tiger be as the Cat Beast charges forward, teeth ready to feast. The Cat Beast will use The Hunt on the Steel-Eating Tiger! If it isn't bleeding after that attack for some reason, it'll use Mark on the Steel-Eating Tiger!
