There's been some discussion on the memo about a DTG D&D game. I'm here to gauge interest and provide a convenient place for people to sign up, assuming it does happen. Oh, you can also discuss things and generally organize things here.
So, if you're interested, post below. I know I'm interested in participating. Edition is 3.5. Oh, here's a tier list that Tazz gave people. So we can plan our characters to not be too OP or UP for the party. http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/in...hp?topic=5256.0 Originally posted on 2016-01-19 23:20:00 -------------------- Thymium planning sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xSq...dit?usp=sharing

Um... what edition is this? I've only ever played 4th (which apparently was terrible) and a little of 5th.

Edition is 3.5 unless the others changed their minds while I was away.
I wish to participate, but as I said my timezone (GMT +1) will not make it easy. Originally posted on 2016-01-20 15:33:00 -------------------- ...

I've only ever played up to like, a bit of 4th (which I would be OK with), but 3.5 seems to be a general consensus. Don't worry, there's links to basically all teh splatbooks and its REALLY doubtful we'd use them all.
As it stands, we don't have many plans, beyond the system almost definitely being 3.5, and that we will most likely meet on Saturdays on roll20 for our games. Beyond that, we don't know, and our time setting is still being discussed. A few questions to ask regarding a few other things: A, who is GM? I'm automatically vetoing me or Crystal, as we're already GMing full-time DTGs. B, what tiers are we playing? This sounds like strictly a gaming question, but given how the game works and the EXTREME power between tiers, not playing within 1 tier away from a set bit (IE, 1-3, 2-4, 3-5, or 4-6) will make anyone higher crush the game into pebbles and anything lower feel like they're absolutely useless. As tiers are decided by usefulness in both versatility and power, and Tier one is basically ultra-versatile and ultra-powerful, while Tier six is basically useless even in their field of expertise, well...Given that there are a few people here new to 3.5, I would recommend the 1-3 range so some of the newer players here who aren't good at min-maxing and don't want to look through a thousand guides (IE Me) can just pick a class and not be useless. C: What kind of campaign are we doing? Good, Evil? Short, long, epic? And some other generic stuff like that, the stuff we might want to sort out beforehand. Hey, that was pretty cool.
I'd nominate myself, but really, I don't think many people care about my opinions, I think I've probably stated most of them pretty loudly already. Although, if you're bored and times happen to align, it'd be interesting. But on to what you've already done, that was pretty cool.
