If Dome's Arm had actually decent damage, it'd be the perfect anti-Zetta weapon.

A horrible chill goes down my spine as I hear the shrieking, and feel bad.
I then inspect the ceiling, to see where it's unstable, to see if there's any way to bring the vein down without the entire thing collapsing on top of me and everyone else. I then try to build ceiling supports to hold the ceiling up, if possible. If successful, I should be able to mine the gold in relative safety. I would preferably use any sturdy enough material to do this. I would even deconstruct/use the cabin to do this. I would mine the vein, and go to the east, and check what's there in the Chaos Memories. Like, what types there are, and how many of each. Also, I don't care which one we get; either way, they're not going to be as useful as my axe. At least, in my opinion, anyway. Though I only say this because I'm the tankiest person this side of DtG:C, so... get what you like. Originally posted on 2015-11-22 00:24:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. I realize I haven't gotten a single upgrade for this entire game. ... But... the Laughing Staff isn't really that good... Maybe this new shop will have items to help me on my quest to be the best support, like no one ever was.
... Whatever, Wilson will take the Laughing Staff, but don't get rid of the normal staff/Sparker. If stun actually works on bosses, this Staff is the most broken thing ever. Wilson suddenly becomes smarter and gains +1 INT. Because of that, Willow suddenly becomes stronger, gaining +1 MHP (from having melee attack) and +5% dodge. Maybe I should just try to get Wilson to 13 INT and respec Willow into having a 100% dodge rate. That might actually be a pretty legitimate strategy. I could beat everything in a war of attrition by having Wilson constantly run away. But, I'd have to be able to take back those points I put into AGI. So how much can we respec? Speaking of respec, I want to see what's in the new shop before deciding anything more. Foxfire is also kinda weak compared to all the other spells. Maybe I should try to upgrade it somehow. And now for actual actions. After Roxanne finally sets Wilson down, both Wilson and Willow head off to the General Memory Storage. You know... you were really brave standing up like that. Hm? Oh. I don't think it did anything, to be honest. On reaching the General Memory Storage, Willow seems to take particular interest in the gem like memory orbs. After a while, she says to Wilson, I have an idea to get through the door, but it probably won't work. You have that... fire... right? You mean foxfire? Um... yes? Then it will finally be good for something. Good for something? It's my main spel- But Willow had left and was perusing the shelves of memory orbs. (note, I hope memory orbs act like gems in terms of physical properties. Otherwise, this isn't going to work.) She carefully examines each one's cutting faces before picking two out and setting them down near Wilson. After some more time of staring at them, she starts cutting away at them with her claws. Are you a jeweler? A little. After all, someone has make and maintain those ender crystals. Granted, that person wasn't me, but still. I know some. After some work, she cuts cone shapes into the sides of each one. Then, she uses a green sap jar to glue the two parts together into a makeshift funnel made of gems. Then she sets it up in front of Wilson and Willow, narrow side pointing towards the door's hinges. Okay, could you hold this steady? Although, it might get rather hot. If this doesn't work, we'll try your foxfire. Using The Grid, he gravitationally holds the gem funnel turret thing down, letting Willow put her head right next to it and inhale deeply. She breaths her ender dragon's fire into the funnel, which focuses the fire into one coherent beam, like a welder's cutting torch. Wilson aims the funnel turret at the hinges of the door, pausing whenever Willow needs to inhale again. Hopefully creativity beats out practicality. If you want, Wilson can have the Wand, since I'm currently trying to get the good combob of 3 mana regen and a staff. Just saying.

Well, it wouldn't really do for Wilson compared to either staff, as he's only got one skill that damages directly, and that's mostly for support; unless that also applies to the Heals/MP restores/Summon stats, this doesn't really improve on much. Contrast, though it does make his skills more costly, it gives him a stronger panic button attack to turn to and allows him to cast a status condition (stun, stopping attacks but not movement) which serves his support roll better.
Also, Talist, while that is feasible, that just means that entities will ignore Willow as much as possible (she's invulnerable) and hit Wilson instead, and you'll probably have 1 AGI and barely any defensive options to feasibly get it that high unless stuff like the Chaos Helmet falls into your lap-and that doens't stop Willow from being harmed by anything with 100% Hitrate either. Zetta had an effective instant-kill that used 100% hitrate (Claw Spam), meaning that it exists for enemies as well as us when we use the Scanners. The strategy is feasible if we ever get that much power, so the strategy is feasible...If you're willing to invest that much into it that its the only option you have and stake most of your combat strategy on Willow's existence and you not getting hit. As for respec flexibility, you can change every point you've spent except the base stats and change to any gear that's in the basic inventory as well for free, BUT if you do so you can't respec again for 2 fights. Plus, IMO, if you're going mage you should STILL have at least two AGI so you can move 3 spaces and have a small chance of not being hit. As for respeccing Willow...She's a summon, you can change her Blast to a Curse and flip around her stats every time she's summoned. I think that was supposed to be a flexible skill. Perhaps someone like you(Tazz) or I could use Shifting Sands to give manouverability to people that have less AGI.
Sorry to put this in two posts, but it's just my respec. Base stats: 24hp (from 22) 10mp (from 12) 3 STR (From skillpoint enchanced 4) 4 AGI (from 2) 2 INT (from 3) After bonuses: 24hp 10mp 4 STR (+1 Damage, +1 Upper Limit) 5 AGI (4 Move, 30% Dodge) 3 INT Spells: Augument Shifting Sands (assuming my purchase was successful) Originally posted on 2015-11-22 08:56:00 |

That bonus for having 12 strength looks utterly delicious... anyway, to the memory storage! Where there's enemies, there's fights, and where there's fights, there's skillpoints.

OK, everyone, look out for spherical obj-wait, wait, wait. I know who it is, or at least, who the disk refers to.
That's Ire. The sphere is referring to Ire, who was caged in a sphere and given Thyme, hence why the disk is purple. He's recording his escape attempts. MYSTERY SOLVED, WE CAN GO HOME NOW. /nullish Originally posted on 2015-11-23 01:31:00 |

Yeah, I'll allow a buff for Foxfire. I'll let you think about what you want; it is YOUR super complex spell of death, after all. Before I forget, Piono promptly un-dies. First off, Insert becomes the ultimate DPS Mage. He doesn't need to clone the items he wants, and simply equips them. He also learns Fireball and obtains the fabled 3 MP REGEN. PER TURN. Toast then purchases Shifting Sands, and replaces his Ice Pillar with it. Toast then inspects the Chaos Memories. They're similar to the Memory Army you fought only a few turns ago; it's just that you're perplexed that you can actually see them, given that there's a labyrinth of sorts in the way. Tazz +1's his AGI, and switches for a Chaos Drone Helm. I then realize that I've made quite a few errors throughout the Status Sheets, and try to rectify them. Tazz then creates a portal to Oblivion, practically removing the flow of water from the falls. He then jumps over the Endless Abyss, and slams into the cavern wall. He's now right next to the Blue Memory Orb Mass. Numbersoup then moves to the GMS and takes some Stone Walls. As it appears, even for stone, these walls are very easy to destroy. But they'll probably be of use. Two Stone Walls obtained. Redstone then ups his HP by 3 and takes one of the Loot Chests. Patch then inspects the Stone Walls, and finds nothing of interest. Darkside then deconstructs the Cabin, and builds supports out of it to hold the ceiling of the Waterfall Zone up. He then mines the rest of the vein, obtaining 2 Gold. He then moves to inspect what Chaos Memories are in the group. He counts six total, but the types don't really matter; he'll find out soon enough because someone's engaging them. Wilson and Willow get a buff, then fires a powerful beam of flames at the Metal Door! The hinges are promptly melted off, but the door still refuses to budge! It must have some sort of other electronic locking mechanism. Toast then performs a Respec, while Teag learns Snowbomb. Meanwhile, Insert decides to engage in STRIFE with the Chaos Memories! Don't forget to join him, otherwise he'll have a bad time. Remember, you can join him and move both in the same turn, so go do that. ... OH GREAT A TELEPORTER MAZE. YAAAAAAAY. The Helix/Dome weapon will be picked next turn. Originally posted on 2015-11-23 01:37:00 -------------------- |

Toast says, "This is too good. Beep boop."
Entering the battle, Toast moves to F6 and uses Shifting Sands of Fearful1, then shooting it. "Pew. Beep boop." EDIT: Toast is also now allergic to Chocolate Iced Cinnamon Donuts. @Tazz Shifting Sands does mention you can [ACT] after using it at 3+ INT. If D3 is also a Zillywell, that's fine, I don't need to move. I do wonder what you will do with that 21 INT though (see your character page). ![]() Originally posted on 2015-11-23 03:16:00 |

@Toast: You can move, THEN use a Skill OR attack. in this case, your first movement and Shifting Sands usage is a whole action. You can't retreat, so you can't move to D2, and you definitely can't shoot (and for that matter you don't need to move to D2 right now as D3 is also a Zillywell). So basically, half of what you intended to happen actually happened...Good news, though, I can follow up, or Insert can. Either one of us.
EDIT: Alternatively, you CAN shoot, allowing us to instantly kill the Fearful if you didn't Minicrit because of that. Didn't notice that, derp. Still not sure you can retreat, but you still don't need to move to D2. I take the Mass of Blue Memory Orbs, then jump back to the other side, cut off the portal so the waterfall can resume being pretty, and head on over to the General Memory Storage. If I can, I immediately join the battle going on over there, plopping myself at D7, moving to E7, and shoving a Shuriken into Fearful1, which I should be directly next to due to Toast's actions. If he's not dead for some reason, I don't retreat. If he is, I pop over to E8 with my Retreat. Originally posted on 2015-11-23 03:53:00 |

Think I'm gonna bump up my Agility, since strength seems a bit underpowered to be honest, at least until you hit 12, but Agility's super ability being slightly less is okay considering the fact that strength doesn't have a big enough effect to start with.
At 12, they're about even, before then, agility appears to be better for the most part. And it looks like ire has decided to curb me and engie's kleptmaniacy. Guys, if anyone figures out something that might be useful in dealing high amounts of damage to Zetta, let us know. The Cabin getting used for tunnel supports sort of chopped 150 potential damage for us out of that boss fight. Anyways, I go up to the waterfall and examine the blue memory orb pile, I want to figure out what's going on before I jump in on the fight in the next room. Also, you tell us to split up, and then give us a zone that only goes on direction. Gee thanks ire. Also, nobody pull out the slingshot until our showdown with Zetta, we're going to need it.
