He then says to Gladius:I don't remember much about her, to be honest. It's been 2 years since I last saw her, which was in the future, when the Godmodder Alpha attacked the world of Terraria. She summoned a lot of things that had to do with blades and she used a Gladius named Lightform early in her battles. She also made a bunch of other gladiuses during her time in the fight. There was this guy who went by unaccompaniedTechlord in Pesterchum. I think he's the real Gladius's brother or something, but all I know is that the two are related. She fought for a while, but when we entered the Crypt of the Necrodancer, she just stopped doing things. She went just like... AFK or something.

I question which Operator Golden Freddy is trying to kick. Oriko also offers to help the Operative if this turns into strife. Strife is cool. I love strife. Oriko loves - what? Oriko doesn't love strife? Who said she was the one in control here?

Oriko: Chaos is less disarm type and more status hell and screw you over type.

She then takes a risk by moving to I9, before blasting the K9 Blade Cluster, while Kirika moves to G10 and blasts the I11 Blade Cluster.

Meanwhile, a copy of Oriko's orb and some Other Grave Fragments float above wherever, and 10 of the Other Grave Fragments start to embed themselves into the Orb, turning it into a spiky ball of death. Hopefully, the dark energy flows into it, and begins to empower the Orb. Oh, the Orb is generated from Oriko's soul? hush hush. Nothing bad will happen to her. Everything bad will happen to her, rest assured.

If that was stupid and boring enough, then this crafting method proceeds to get stupider, as I, the narrator, take 10 Glitch Gel, attempt to stuff it into the insides of the orb, and watch it glitch. Or something.

Battlefury first pieces together the Saurite Tiara with 2 Saurite, 1 Titanium, 5 Gold Ingots, and 10 Wire Bits. The voices from the Saurite are much louder now; that might be dangerous, but it's a powerful piece of headgear... Darkside then promptly expends the Shadowstalker, Farenheit, 6 Vines, a Wooden Shack, a Giant Chair Sculpture, 18 Other Grave Fragments, The Web, 6 Bottled Bottled Water, a Bundle of Gaia Knives AND 16 Souls of Might to create the Night's Bladed Seat! So... that's a ton of materials. You've obtained +1 Base DMG, a type of MP Drain, and a variable Trueform-type ability! Given the sheer amount of stuff dumped into this, feel free to contact me about making changes.

Engie then keeps talking with Gladius.

Sunny then... actually succeeds in extracting some Glitch from the Glitch Gel, creating 1 unit of Gel, Oil and Glitch. Each. You'll need to be more creative to draw out more than one at a time. SO LET'S GET CREATIVE! Redstone then also converses with Gladius.

Oriko then uses what's left of the Other Grave Fragments and 10 Glitch Gel to make the Undeath Orb; this grants it a bit of a lower-damage increase, and it inflicts Glitch on targets with 25% HP or less. While that's not the strongest thing, you feel that with more glitch, you could make this an unstable but deadly weapon. Battlefury then becomes the prettiest princess, equipping the Saurite Tiara.

=BATTLE: THE CHESSBOARD, TURN FOUR=
Pane's at 20 HP now; get ready to burst him down when he's at 10 HP, or you'll need to deal with Queens and other silly things. Pane's also going to pop a Beam next turn, which may wipe out quite a few people. He also might use Thunderburst instead or something. JUST BE READY OKAY?

For someone who just took about enough damage to kill even some of the tanker players here, The Operative sure does have a way of understating things. A moment passes as he just stares blankly at the sky, then slowly turns to Gladius, armor plates visibly shifting.

"Friendship could work, I suppose. At this point in time, admittedly, there are many uncertainties as to what could be considered a valid option, but for now..."

His eyes seem to be glowing a bit dimmer now. Something that he notices when asked if he's okay or not. He gives that some thought.

"I'm fine. Aside from being critically injured and suffering from two separate damage over time effects that already could kill me on their own. Looks like it's time to use the Alcove again. I'll be back in a moment. In the meantime, looks like the battle against a fake pane-in-the-ass is almost over. We should try to get out of here before Zetta arrives. He could prove to be... problematic."

And with that, The Operative turns and runs off to the Alcove once again to use his action to heal up there.


Also I only just noticed that Gladius's Lightforme's healing ability is in the lightning element and this could lead to some interesting interaction with the X4 special gain on taking lightning damage for Operative's special, if healing and damage happen to be similar enough things

Toast uses Shifting Sands on the Glass Bishop, moves to E5 then fires South once no-one is in the way (besides Pane and the Bishop). She then retreats to D5.
