In-character time

The Operative, almost the instant that UROBOROS appears, immediately seems to almost completely shift, calm facade being dropped for a dangerous level of visible anger. Near-instantly, he's somehow right in front of the entity, katana mere millimetres from UROBOROS's throat-analogue. Cue staredown.

"You remind me far too much of the entity responsible for RUINING MY LIFE, among other things. Not helping that you came from a Pinary-metal-based construct. And your speech mannerisms. I should kill you where you stand."

A few seconds pass, the katana drawing so close that it might even actually be touching UROBOROS's neck-analogue. Then, The Operative mutters something under his breath, lowering the sword.

"But that wouldn't fix anything. My family would still be dead. And you'd just come back. As much as I hate saying this, it looks like we'll be working together. But, creature. No, whatever you are. Try any funny business near me, and I'll electrocute you to the floor, then watch Super Nanny while you drool into the carpet, teammate or not. This is the only warning you get, and you're lucky to be getting a warning at all, considering who you're so similar to."

He then vanishes before a reply can be made, returning to his position in the Core Battle to cut down the Glitch Chimaera. Or shock it to death, if necessary. Or, if it's dead, dash up to F7 and stab the Secretary.

...Yes, The Operative does NOT appreciate the presence of a Binary-related entity. In fact, all of the variations of him from this timeline are like that.

@Insert: That's true, but I'd kinda like to keep building AGI. It's really helpful to have the MOVE for a character who uses melee weapons like me, and having RNG on my side for dodge rolls is helpful too.

Without another word, the escape pod seals, and Marron takes off. A blast of smoke fills the Cavern of OC's, covering everyone in the room with soot. SOUL wanders South, into an area with a Lone Console. The white-on-white pallet of the Hollow is getting quite annoying; there's a white pathway stretching across a white abyss, which would make walking to the zone's namesame, the Multicolor Console, hard. There's a Splattershot lying on the floor, though.

=THE ISLAND CORE, TURN SIX=
The threats have been removed. With nothing to stop him, Redstone loots the Anti-Ship missile! Gladius then steals it, and fires it at the incoming ship for (150) damage, and slowing down it's advance!

=2= turns until the Island awakens

You also find some skillpoints, gold, Souls of Might, Hallowed Bars, a Mechanical Worm, and some Greater Healing Potions.

All the potential battles here are done. Next turn, perhaps discuss a potential upgrade to the ship, and string together a bunch of Zone 6 commands? If you don't clear it before the end of the game, nothing bad will happen, but...

I pull out a dog-made hallowed revolver, not made from actual hallowed. It can store one shot, and fire one type of ammo

Compressed Compressed Dog Blocks.

I quickly load up our single Compressed Compressed Dog Block, and fire it at teag before he can even react.

It tears into him, and, with the force applied from slamming into him while massively accelerated, explodes.

Teag is promptly drowned in massive amounts of dog, which floods his body. Meanwhile, the remaining dog residue turns into more Dogs
More Dogs: Wants Teag's soul. And the update terminal, just to be safe (is it x421, or x1?)

Said more dogs proceed to use the Dog Residue, and their own dog powers, to brutally murder teag, and consume his soul. Said More Dogs now have teags soul, and promptly join the Dog in wanting the updop termindop

The Hydra Mask lands on Twin's character, while the aura of zetta presumably terrifies away the Dog Residue.

The Dog Residue is then put under lock-and key. Crystalcat and tazz will determine its fate, and until then, nobody else can touch it. They will probably burn it, so don't get your world-dooming hopes up Redstone. Because it was YOU, after all, that crafted the compressed dog block.


I then decided to exploit DOG, creativity, and some hallowed and gold ingots to craft a new staff. First, i smelt the basic design of the staff, a long stick of Hallowed Ingots. 15, to be precise. Which makes a surpisingly short four-feet long stick. Next, i bend the stick into a cylinder. The staff its'self, due to the hallowed metal, somehow suddenly has rubies dotting it. I then create a rise in the hallowed metal near the center of the staff, and embed it with 4 magically-created-because-it's-a-hallowed-item rubys. Finally, i create a simple 3- inch radius circle of Durasteel, followed by a 4-inch radius circle of Titanium, and finally a 5-inch raidus circle of Iron. Atop this, will be the staff's centerpiece.

I proceed to float the melted-golden ingot onto the staff. The entire staff, excluding the top, and the rubys. Then, a small ball of remaining molten gold, floats onto the top of the staff. At this point, the orginal update-terminal wanting dog jumps into the gold.

The molten orb of gold is magically attached to the staff, and levitates above the top of it. When the dog jumps in, it cools rapidly, and lands on the centerpiece, magically fused to the 6-inch plate of iron beneeth it. The gold forms a small dog, the Annoying Dog. It's ears perked happliy,, it's fur hard, golden yet fluffy. It's tail wagging, happily and brilliantly in the sun. It's eyes are emerald. Then, finally, a small, tiny orb of left over molten gold and hallow form into a beautiful crown, placed carefully between it's two ears. Finally, i extract some Yee enegry from the Yeehaw hat, which is an infinite source of Yeehaw Energy, and fuse it with the dog. The Dog's Crown gains a hat of gold, a cowboy hat encursted with gems, and made of gold and Ye, the sercet element, which is obviously Yeehawium. Meanwhile, crowned dogs with yeehaw hats are seemingly etched onto the golden staff's base, their eyes dust of magically-summoned-by-hallowed-metal. Dog magic, and various kinds of magic radiate from the staff.

The Holy Dog staff has been created.

I will leave the actual stats to you, irecreeper. However, this weapon is intended to be a greatly-empowered version of the Dog staff, and as such, should probably reflect that. A few ideas are empowering it's MP cost reduction and giving it MP regen, allowing for cheap and rapid casting of spells. Alternately, rather than making it a tool allowing for cheap spells and rapid regen, you can make it have every spell become lethal orbs of doom: There are many ways to think of his, but the ways i have thought of are rather simple, if strong: A large bonus to skill damage will go well generally. Alternately, a simple 1+ splash to all spells that have less than three splash, since unless you consider the craftinbg awesome enough, applying that to thunderburst is WAYYYYYYYYYYYY OP. Even better, you could give it elemental resist pierce, making the weapon very deadly to those without elemental resist. You could also have it inflict certain status effects depending on the element of the spell used.

Another idea is to have it give TWO skill choices, even if you already have three. This WOULD be useful for fitting Dogsong into my aresneal, but a bit boring, and not exactly practical, as if i cannot get extra use out of the extra slot, it becomes worthless.

And now, unto the physical attack. I'd have this at (6-7), but this staff is 1. four feet long and 2. very heavily, since its coated in gold and made of hallowed. Thus, as part of it's weapon passive, should be unwieldy- i believe oriko's weapon has it, and the staff's attack is now 7-8, or if you like, 8-9. Due to it's heavyness, it has a chance of stun, if it is said to be hitting the hit. Any other situations, no stun.

Finally, since the staff is made of dog, it should retain- or empower, maybe- the -1 penalty from the Dog Staff to Hp. The Dog chance may or may not be buffed.

As another request, since this staff is cool and i want good stats for it but am not sure what to do with it entirely, if you have any ideas for it you consider balanced, please send them to me so i can see the idea stats and if they sound like what i want or not.

Also, to explain the magically-coming out of nowhere rubys, i point thee to this: http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Hallowed_Bar. Many of the items with hallowed bars have what looks like ruby in them, but have no ruby in the crafting recipie. Thus the magical rubys.

So, I use 25 Titanium and Iron Ingots to create a Helicopter Hull. I then make Large and Small Helicopter Blades out of 10 more Titanium and 5 Durasteel. I then make a Combustion Chamber out of 10 Iron and 5 Durasteel, as well as a Splinter Fuel Tank out of 15 Iron. I put all of these together to make...

Okay, so gladius says one of these are wrong. I think we can rule out the first one as being false. It's not like we're going to spec out of evasion just for the fight, so that one doesn't make much sense being false.

Since terrain control is a mechanic we have seldom used, I think that it will more than likely be important in the upcoming fight. This one I am most sure about it's truthfulness.

Now I believe one of the remaining two are false. I'm not entirely sure what ship-borne defences means, but I would suppose that would refer to the shape of the RING OF DOOM. Gladius/Ire has been persistent about asking Roxxanne to edit the ship, so I reckon it's quite possible that this is true.

Bringing certain elements is what cries false to me the most, but as I say again, I don't know this for certain.

OK, I vote to activate the Bonus Round Orb now. We have everyone on board for this, and we can investigate stuff more thoroughly while we have the orb up. Including the glowing Pillars.

Also, for future reference, we are now voting on a revised design on Generic's ship as the new interior of the MW Anti. The Missile Launcher and EMP were swapped out because we weren't using them enough, in exchange for two Nanobot Launchers. Otherwise the design has stayed loosely the same weapon-wise. Of course, the layout is more open while we have varying killzones for enemies to cross through to get to us no matter which way they go-basically merging the best of the tight corridors and a more open space by giving the less optimal terrain to our enemies. I vote for it.

Siria swaps her Muton Armor for the Crimera Cloak, then runs around on a massive looting spree. She grabs the Gold from the Temmie Workship, breaks down all the Hollowed Trees for Hollowed Bark, scoops up a bunch of splinters from the ground to serve as (possibly) more ammo for the Living Wood Wand's skill, and also examines the piles of Illuminati Gold for traps or alarms.
