Battlefury, somehow NOT recieving any complaints, purchases Dogsong. He also equips the Cowboy Hat for whatever reason. Notmary then references things that nobody will understand ever, and heads for the Clearing, joining the fight! Oriko asks about going one-winged angel, and busting out of the cage.

...okay, a lot pissed. Ette didn't seem to mind terribly, though. Marron steps out of the broken chamber, shoves Darkside out of the way, and walks straight for the Escape Pod.

Marron settles down. Toast then remarks that everything resisting fire is dumb, and is then given the great idea to take Sapsplash as a complementary skill, or to stalk Roxxanne. She then joins the battle at the Island Core. Patch WOULD then buy an Energy Circlet, but he has the feeling that he should put some effort into his crafting, or risk a failure of sorts. Pricey also gets into the Island Core fight, while Bomber follows him in. Toast also inhales a whole SPC orb, and Battlefury finds a gold.

=BATTLE: THE ISLAND CORE, TURN THREE=
Despite a two party member wipe, the battle still seems to be going well. Get people in to replace the fallen, or revive them! Dead players don't count towards the cap! Be VERY CAREFUL about breaching the Player Cap again, though; Chaos might consider it cheese and get cheesed off...

Dead players; you have respawned, but you won't be able to rejoin the fight you died in, unless you are Revived.

I forcibly take apart the hatstack, leaving four hats of equal fanciness standing there. Now to find a way to apply the wood and the circlet into these...

Okay, first, I use each piece of wood to carve out five pieces of a makeshift helmet. But each one is simply not going to attach themself on their own...

I cut two of the four hats into their respective pieces of fabric. Now using the fabric, I tie all five parts of the helmet together. It's crude, but it'll work for now.

Now to add the circlet. I, of course, buy the Energy Circlet from Bill so as I can actually use it. This might be a bit tricky...

Mistri looks at the Energy Circlet. According to Ire, "It's a small metallic headpiece, sort of like a tiara, but very simple. An orange glowing gem adorns the front of the circlet."

I have an idea, but it has to cost another hat for that fabric...

Cutting another hat to fabric, I carve out a slot for the piece to enter. Tying the circlet up gives it off to be a perfect fit, but what did you expect from the daughter of a...

*cough* Either way, now everything's in place except that last hat, and there's no way it's going to fit onto the top of the helmet.

Well, time to cut that one to fabric and attach it onto the sides of the hat, just for some decoration purposes. And it makes Patch look that much more cooler.

Now it's not even a hatstack. It more resembles a...well, bunch of wood with fabric tying it together, with the Energy Circlet set inside it. I'm pretty sure that half the enchantments on the hats are gone now, too. Now I guess it's a... Hollowed Energy Helm or something.

Soaked could give Aaron a perfect opening to strike, but he might be leaving...

Curse would bring your power down by a fair amount, but wouldn't exactly work best with the need for cooperation.

Silence... well, that would destroy all your skills for a few turns. Salt levels rising?

And finally, Root will keep them in place and let me stay with my strategic spot where I am totally immune, but still brings the risks of all their ranged attacks.

So far, with the combinations given, I'm pretty sure that a combination of Silence and Root would provide the best synergy of pure status, but Curse and Root would provide a better advantage for teamwork...

Aaron nods, zaps secretary1 with his shard and then gets the heck out of dodge... up to the spire tower.

"Hey there little guy, how've you been doing?"

Eric then pulls out another one of his memory weapons: Vi Forti, the metal flail, he swings it around and around and metal pieces materialize out of nowhere, he slams the flail down to assemble them together into a spire and...

The spire promptly crashes through the floor of the tower, flipping up a piece of board and sending Eric up over the side and off of the edge of the Watch Tower.

Eric flies up into the air flying sideways almost as much as upwards... Then he sees the spire crashing through the bottom of the drift. "Well, crap."

Then that because angling, he's over the edge of the drift, the reason he can see it is because he's traveling downwards at a very fast pace. "SON OF A [zettaboardsdoesn'tsupportthefancysymbols]"

He pulls some quick thinking, drawing two more memory weapons as quickly as he can, suddenly donning Traho, and using it to counter the gravitational pull by afixing himself to the well of the splinter drift, this combined with the air power from Superosque, sends him rocketing back over edge and back onto the tower.

He looks at the spider. "Don't look at me like that, that was NOT supposed to happen."

Eric walks over to the edge of the hole, and looks down. The spire is pretty much gone.

Eric shrugs and reaches out for it with Vi Forti, then applies anti-gravity with Traho.

"Did it wo-" and then the spire shoots up through the hole in the floor, making a hole in the roof.

"This is going to be a pain, isn't it?"

Eric sighs and pulls out Vi Naturae and just collects together a bunch of wood to make a regular spire, and then loads it in.

Hopefully that metal spire won't hit anything important...




Meanwhile, on Zetta's ship, everyone feels a powerful thud just a few minutes later when the metal spire finally comes back down at terminal velocity. Will this deal significant damage? Hopefully.

I then retreat to J12, landing on the ground there. That way, if the Glitch Crimera 4 decides to charge me, it'll have to enter range of my teamates! (And potentially hurt them too, but collateral damage is ok.)

He then turns and moves to L6, lashing out with his katana at the Secretary.

tc: Unless, of course, you make me not eviscerating her worthwhile.

Ette seems entirely unsure about the situation. Meanwhile, Mistri creates the Hollowed Energy Helm out of Patch's Hatstack, a fresh-off-the-shelves Energy Circlet (-2 Gold), and all the Hollowed Bark. "Eric" then appears after absconding from the Secretary battle, inflicting (3) points of confusion damage to Chaos. Spire shenanigans happen, which deals (15) damage to Zetta's ship. You also have a feeling that the anti-ship missiles dealt (300) total damage, for whatever reason. Meanwhile, Oriko converses with Marron...

tc: "And we'll probably end up winning."
tc: Good luck with thaaaat. Ette alone could probably wipe the floor with two of you.

Chaos then proceeds to completely ignore what Oriko has to say. Marron then promptly recieves more threats from Engie.

SOUL moves East to the Descent. This zone of the Hollow has some color, unlike the others. Light drifts in from strange cracks in the sky, akin to the ones in the main parts of the mindscape. The light is colored, but it doesn't really help break up the monochrome-ness of the creatures around you.

=BATTLE: THE ISLAND CORE, TURN FOUR=
The Destroyer's gone, but the secretaries are still an ever-present threat. Same with the Crimeras and Probes, but the latter aren't much of a threat. Teag's in a bad spot though; maybe watch him?

=BATTLE: THE CLEARING, TURN THREE=
Lin Rin burned to death via flaming arrow, and Darkside dodged a powerful Derivation. Just keep your tanks alive and focus the silenced secretary, and you'll be good.
