Mabuz moves to D8 and attacks Crystal 2 with his scythe, plain and simple.

@Teag2: To be fair I didn't know that the 1 damage thing was a thing. Let's do that instead-someone toss Splinters at the afflicted, we won't mind. Lin Rin can still summon her glyph and all is right with the world.

Rin's throwing a Splinter at you now, Tazz. So that's done.
Also, seems my previous question wasn't answered, does Inception act like a normal summon where there can be only one Glyph/Shard/Whatever, or can there be multiple of them summoned by the same person on the field at once?

Uh... okay... Tazz, I'm trusting that the values you gave on page 101 have been edited and updated.

GO MY ARMY OF DARKNESS!

T.Archer -> B9, uses TemsFourShot to shoot Crystal 2 four times. (4-5 damage * 4. Crystal at 31-35)

Clone 1 -> C8, shock Crystal 2. (8-9 damage. Crystal at 39-44)
Clone 2 -> C10, shock Crystal 2. (8-9 damage. Crystal at 47-53)
Clone 3 -> E12, shock Crystal 2. (8-9 damage. Crystal at 55-62)
Clone 4 -> H10, use plain foxfire. One shot to Insert for 1-3 total damage (unless he isn't actually primed, of course), the other shot to Crystal 1 for 4-5 damage. Crystal down.

G. Spider, whack Crystal 2. (7-8 damage. Crystal2 at 62-70. Crystal2 down)

Nevermind. Let's not overkill a crystal.

Clone 1 -> C8, shock Crystal 2. (8-9 damage. Crystal at 51-52)

Clone 2 -> B9, shock Crystal 2. (8-9 damage. Crystal at 59-61)

G. Spider, whack Crystal 2, retreat to F7. (7-8 damage. Crystal at 66-69. Crystal down.

Clone 3 -> D6, use foxfire to heal Patch for 8-9 and inflict wetness on Numbersoup.

Clone 4 -> H10, use plain foxfire. One shot to Insert for 1-3 total damage (unless he isn't actually primed, of course), the other shot to Crystal 1 for 4-5 damage. Crystal down.

T. Archer -> C7. Guard.

Wilson moves to D11 and meditates.

@Talist: Crystal's already updated it once on Pg. 102, but it's mainly just that Crystal 2 is at 43 damage at the moment. I think you're going to overkill it with that damage. I'd update it again myself, but I can't be bothered to look up everyone's damage values and compile them.

@Ire: Thanks.

Crystal Tally:
E8: 73 (60/100)
I6: 40 (40/60)
I11: 25 (15/30)

Excellent, at the current pace this guy's gonna be more of a joke than the Sleuth was, and I say that because the Sleuth actually got kills AND tanked a house to the face.

=TURN NINETY-EIGHT=
Insert attempts to kitbash some Dog Walls together. You end up creating Fluffy Dog Barriers, which are incredibly fragile. The process takes 500 Compressed Dog Blocks. You then create some splinte-

ac: nom nom nom

...all the staves from Basicitemlandia have been obliterated! For at least this battle! Toast then pulls out Anarchist's Cookbook, which appears to be the boss's drop!

...

ERROR: PARADOX CREATED!
(2779)
Exactly 46,303 Compressed Dog Blocks are pulled into a random vortex.

Your supposed copy of Anarchist's Cookbook turns into dust... Chaos then responds to Oriko.

cc: dunno. probably gonna manipula(t)e you for gorillas and giggles. make you slap allies a(t) inoppor(t)une (t)imes; general (t)roll s(t)uff.

Oriko then summons Kirika near the MW Antidisestablishmentarianism! And by near, I mean 25 feet to the left, outside of the ship! Even if Kirika can fly, she's pulled forcefully into the depths of Chaos's mind via gravitational forces... Kirika is now what we'd call "very dead." Pricey also attempts to fix a railgun, but that fails, sadly. And once more, Piono's item shenanigans fail due to a lack of creative usage during the crafting process. And I DID give the Lock-On Lens an upgrade last turn, even if it was a slight one.

...that's it? Wow. Like last time, we'll do Chaos's Test first. Why? Because Chaos established the formula, that's why.

=BATTLE: CHAOS'S TEST, TURN TWO=
Battlefury presses the button right away! An intense gravitational force suddenly fills the room, flinging everything to the east wall! It looks like everything is being funneled into a cannon of sorts! Oriko and Battlefury are pulled towards it-

cc: no you don'(t).

Chaos uses Code Spire on himself, Oriko and Battlefury! It misses Battlefury, allowing him to be sucked into the cannon. Chaos and Oriko are rooted to the spot, if only for a second! The cannon stops loading once Battlefury is pulled in...

cc: ah. i missed him.
cc: oh well, i'm sure one puppe(t) will be jus(t) as fun.

The lower wall pulls a portion of itself back, as Chaos uses Sow The Death! Code Thorns rip up from the ground; Oriko's chances look bleak...

...but there's more buttons. Maybe one of them will save you!

cc: no (t)hey won'(t). (t)hey're jus(t) (t)here to s©rew wi(t)h you.

=BATTLE: MW ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISM, TURN TWO=
...Elsewhere, Battlefury and all the foes in the Chaos Test are fired out at the Ship. Gladius, busy piloting the ship, notices Battlefury and some robots flying in at insane speeds...

ga: Incoming debris!
ga: Wait, WHAT?
ga: That shouldn't be... WHATEVER!
ga: Firing turrets!

Gladius activates one of the turrets, firing a hail of lasers at the incoming "debris." Lasers slam into two of the Chaos Sabers (one of them being a faceless), obliterating them! Battlefury is grazed by one blast, dropping him to 1 HP! He then slams into the side of the ship, instantly killing him. He then revives as a dog outside of the ship, and then promptly falls into the abyss, joining Kirika. Two Chaos Sabers survive the flight, breaking into the ship and leaving breaches! Deal with them quickly, and the new crystals! Crystal 1 survived last turn though, so take caution.

You also have a feeling that anarchistsCreation will absolutely deny the second set of splinters used this turn. For some reason.

i think the button Comsumer is supposed to press is the smooth jazz one, followed by the h0i button, then the self-destruct. http://b3.ifrm.com/30592/38/0/e5072360//e5072360.png
Clearly the other cannon button is a lie. http://b3.ifrm.com/30592/38/0/e5072360//e5072360.png

And this is why recent polls indicate that Chaos has an approval rating of 0%- Everyone who allied him was fired into a starship.

I recommend hitting the < 0 > button first. It's bound to have something to do with the Chaos Butterfly, which might just get Chaos to break off.

Also, RIP. NumberSoup fixed the hull breach.

Toast moves to L8 and le fireballs Crystal 2. That can only mean one thing...

MY SPECIAL IS READY. Although I won't use it, since it would help to have some more SPC first, also it's not all that great right now, in this battle.

Lesse here... I think I'm best off retreating for now.

the Glyph moves to (G12) and zaps me.

I GTGO to (K9) and self-augment.

Rin also GTGO's to (K10) and Medicates me.

I feel like this became a clustergorilla.

Guys, I have two options. I can either shoot Anarchist, who happens to be lightning resistant, or I can shoot one of the Chaos Sabers, which will brutally overkill it so hard that I seriously find myself wondering if Chaos might need a chance in underpants should he bother watching us while my shot takes place. What should it be?

And I am NOT shooting that fucking crystal, solely because my damage is so brutal I'd end up tearing a hole in the ship.

Oh you have GOT to be kidding me. OK, note to EVERYONE: no discount spells for ANY reason. If we can't afford the final cost for the spell you can't cast it under any circumstance, as Generic just proved with his failed Mindcrush attempt. Full Mana or no-go.

Someone within Range 3 of Engie or Pricey, preferrably a low-attack thing: Toss Splinters as Pricey and Engie to get rid of Primed so we don't lose them. Engie is valuable in particular for his high-damage so we can focus on de-priming or the new foes.

As for me, I sail to J4 and nail Crystal 1 with a Shuriken. "You were saying about this being impossible for you to lose? The last two zone bosses were pieces of cake! You're the third we've fought! You don't seem too happy about how this is all going either, heehee! :3" Roxxanne says at AC, trying and failing to surpress the irony of the situation. "Near half-health, as you are, I'd say you forgot who couldn't lose here, hahaa!"

Oh, yes; we DO need people to trash those Chaos Sabres. Engie/TECHPIECE, given that you don't want to thrash a Crystal and attacking AC head-on without a way of ignoring his armor isn't really as valid as attacking the Crystals...I'd say thrash a Chaos Saber, those things could REALLY make life sad if we have to deal with them and AC. You may also want to be on-duty for the appliances when they show up, though that depends on if they're weak to electricity like I suspect (robotic enemies seem to share that as a weakness, even if only minor).

Oh, and PLEASE COPY-PASTE THE CRYSTAL TALLY INTO YOUR POSTS. IT MAKES TRACKING STUFF EASIER.

Crystal 1 (I6): 34/40/60
Crystal 2 (H11): 12/55/75
Crystal 3 (E5): 0/50/70

@Consumer/Oriko: Given your situation, my bet is that the Other Cannon fires at you like Battlefury said (irony) while the other three won't really do enough to save you (well, bar self-destruct but that kills you instead). The Chaos Butterfly is big, bad and can apparently eat ©haos himself and is NOT allied to him. I'd say that's your best escape option right now, using that as a diversion, though the Self-Destruct might not leave you in enough pieces for Zetta to really assimilate...If you're up to that anyways. Though maybe this isn't as trollish as I thought and the Other Cannon will do it. I'm not really sure what to do in your situation honestly.

Added a semi-important note to the EoTR. End of Turn Report. That's the general term I'm using now.

@Piono: Edited the post. Again.

Alright, Chaos Saber it is, then.

"HEY CHAOS LOOK OVER HERE"

And then I take aim at the Chaos Saber, laugh like a maniac, and promptly blast it in the face with raw POWER from my Pulse Rifle, causing it to be PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE OF CONTINUING TO EXIST from the SHEER UNRELENTING POWER of my maximum strength damage values. Because, let's face it, that's at LEAST 31 damage right there with the minicrit, not factoring in resistance values. Due to me doing Lightning damage, and the Chaos Saber having Lightning vulnerability, well... heh.

http://b3.ifrm.com/static/emo/1.png

Wait, hold on. Those freshly-spawned crystals weren't there, last time I checked. Reconsidering options...
Options have been reconsidered and killing the Chaos Saber to prevent it from fucking up our collective days would be nice.

Screw it. I switch the shard form and use temsfour.
And IRE! You have completely ignored my item shenanigans for TWO TURNS IN A ROW NOW.
I use the expert lens, some wire bits and a couple of iron ingots to upgrade the Lock-On Lens' Lock on to give me a bigger damage bonus from lock-on, even if it means non-locked targets will take even less damage. I want an absurd power boost, dangit.
Additionally, I use various items, plus a mana vial to turn one of the mage robes into Enhanced Mage Robes, which is like the Mage Robes, except it also grants an extra spell slot (and maybe that nifty Mana regen too? I'm willing to take that -1 Str if such is required.)

Scatter my temclones in positions that won't get them immediately killed please.
My temclones then focus fire on the two sabers that punched holes in our hull, two shard beams apiece.

I run to G6, Portal Rend the Chaos Saber, then retreat to J4 and check if there is any toast in the toaster.
What are you talking about Tazz? I didn't say that.
Well, unless Engie ends up attacking the Saber. In that case, I do everything the same, but move to H5 and fix the Hull Breach.

@Pionoplayer: Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I am almost 100% positive that Temclones can't act on the turn of summon, just like the boss version and unlike, I believe, every other summon in the game. Too powerful to act immediately, I think. Just warning you! Might be totally wrong.

@Teag 2: My current move is 7 and my Retreat is 3. That's 10 to your 9.

@Engie: I personally would prefer a kill confirm on the Chaos Sabers to more Crystal damage even if it would be considerable. Then again, you do have some Appleman's Juiciness for your next attack, if you understand.
