I tell Gladius to please load another Dog Ingot Block instead of the Sliding Steel Door.

Ya know, I think the Warhammer needs a bit of a buff. Even if you get the bonus damage from it's weapon special effect, it's basically just a glorified axe in terms of damage, and having a slightly longer reach doesn't offset the fact that damn near anything can just sit far away and shoot you while laughing. If you even move a single tile to rectify the problem, instantly you're down to what is basically a staff, only with no magic in it.

I disagree with you on that engie, it's got the same base damage as the shuriken stack. Add in your strength modifier and it's a decent weapon, even without the ability, which still works out to that 2 range. it's usable at worst, and almost broken at best.
Which puts it at about the same level as Bill's Cane, which evens out to above average due to rendering your character utterly useless at worst, and breaking the game so hard we spend two weeks arguing about it at best.

Actually Engie's kind of right, the warhammer is a bit trash.
It's literally just the Axe with Prone and the drawback of not being able to move.
That's pretty terrible considering that the Axe can deal up to 52 damage in a single blow against an elite.
And the Warhammer's single extra range doesn't mean much when you can move three spaces as soon as you've put another point into AGI, and can move 2 spaces at base anyways.
I'd suggest adding more base damage to the Warhammer. Or changing its passive slightly. Ooh, maybe let it hit multiple targets in addition to the damage boost.

Add multiple targets would be my suggestion: Maybe it has like a sweep effect when not moving?

Yeah, when I was first looking at the Warhammer, I considered it, but was actually quite underwhelming for my build. An axe got the job done much better, and The Web eclipsed that with my high HP. I also propose a buff to the thing, despite me never wanting to use it over the Web.
Perhaps give standing still an AoE/sweep effect and damage boost, moving one step removes the AoE/sweep, and another removes the damage boost. That's my take on it, anyway.

You know, warhammers were historically used because plate armor was becoming too tough for things such as swords. Thus, perhaps along with a flail-type weapon of some kind, and maybe a mace, how about damaging a target's armor class?

Inb4 we all pull out warhammers and beat Zetta up until his AC goes deep into the negatives

I guess ignoring AC if you don't move would be fine. Maybe I'll tune the damage of the Warhammer, so it's less devastating if you move, too.

@Teag: The Broken Scale Necklace proc'd. It missed Nolegs.

=TURN EIGHTY-EIGHT=
Engie gets a free upgrade on Assassin's Judgement, but increases the SP cost by 30. Insert then expends 4,000 Dog Residue to create 80 Dog Ingots. He then makes 3 Dog Blocks, leaving him with 53 more ingots. Insert then does some battle-based stuff we won't cover here, then reinforces the sentry with 3 Titanium Ingots, granting it +7 MHP and 1 AC. Insert then clones the Origin Gunpowder for 4 Gold, and equips it. Insert then also uses 20 Dog Residue, adding more dog to the inventory.

Tazz then loots the Glitch Temmie, which he shoves in the inventory. It seems that Glitch Temmie is an abnormally weak weapon; what's up with it? Battlefury then uses a single residue. Toast then does a thing, and gains some SP because I'm confused. Mr. Mabuz then joins the game, with once more, a few alterations to Grim Bolt. Mostly in what bonuses you can get. He then joins the Amalgam Rush.

Piono then fails to trade the coupon. It looks like you'll need a special coupon of sorts. Maybe you can find it on the Map of Zone 2? The Warhammer is then made more viable.

Wilson suddenly gains half of his MP back. Meditation and all.

=BATTLE: AMALGAM RUSH, TURN SIX=
Pricey's down. Golden Freddy should be taken down before he decides to ACTUALLY kill Battlefury. Gladius nearly fell as well; ensure her safety or bad things might happen...

Uh oh. Gotta post real fast. Uh...

Step 1: Complain that Wilson didn't meditate last turn.
Step 2: Wilson - > B2, meditate.
Step 3: Clone 1 to E4, Clone 2 to F3 and both shock G. Froobs if he's still alive. Otherwise...
Step 4: Clone 1 to F3, both clones shock Lance.

I'm going to be upgrading in some direction after this fight, that's for sure. Should I go the tanky/survivable route, which equates to me buying Muton Armor, equipping it, and adding a dot to Agility, meaning my total gain is 2 AC and 5 HP while losing a point of INT, or should I go for pure damage, which will mean I get myself a Crimera Cloak and add a point to STR, coming out to another 1 DMG while not gaining anything else? One gives greater leeway in case I'm hit, while the other will rely on range. Opinions, anyone else?

Personal opinion, you could probably do more with the tank route. Let me be the guy who focuses on nothing but pure damage and gets killed over and over again because of neglecting survivability.

@engie. You might want to inspect the Totally Unsuspicious Rocks in the cliffs. Before the [REDACTED] fight which hopefully insert will be rezzing you for.

@ire What do you think of long-term afflictions like diseases or some sort of positive parallel to that?

@crystal I would reccomend the latter. Damage dealers are always nice. The former doesn't really complement your build particularly well.

My plan for the future: I'll probably go 1 INT -> 1 SPC (these two are for the Healing Bonuses effect on my special) -> HP.

Maybe chuck in some MP or STR here or there.

i toss the dog residue that flooded my inventory into the furnace. I then ask glitch temmie how much more worthless a dog ingot is than a dog residue. I think it is at minimum a exponential increase in worthlessness.

With my newly aquired 9999999999 Skill Points, I max out my stats and put all the rest in to HP and MP. I then use my new found powers and my 999999 Double Action casts to wipe out everything on the battlefield.

OH NO THE TABLE/SENTRY PIONO IS BAN FROM INVENTORY
http://b3.ifrm.com/30592/38/0/e5072360//e5072360.png
Oh, it's fine.
PIONO IS STILL BAN FROM INVENTORY
Anyways: If someone can Axe Golden Frooby, it would be much appreciated.
I attempt to kitbash cardboard paper from some spellbooks.
I Healmore for 2 splash on myself, then leave the fight and go grab the can of hammed spam and check in with Glitch Temmie.

Siria asks Gladius to exit battle, as she is within sudden death range and Lance might not die next turn. She then moves to D5, next to the Slingshot, and unloads the Titanium Table, because we could melt that down and use it for crafting with. If she can still act after unloading the Table, she fires on Lance.

I tap the Blue Gem, freezing two random foes. Hopefully Frooby is one of them. Blue Gem IS worthless after Wave 3 after all.

Guys, I'd like EBF done for prior to killing GF, as if we kill GF first the boss fight will spawn, and we skip whoever we don't kill of GF and GT either way. I'd like Lance Dead-either way. (You saw Chaos rootin' for my death! I say kill Lance first.)

Gladius, get out! You need to rest.

Redstone, get over here and get on the front lines, your too strong not to do that.

Update's done.

@Toast: Long-term status effects would be interesting. Like a high-cost buff that grants people +1 AC for ten turns or something. Or like a deathcurse thing that takes 5 turns to kill you.

GLADIUS, PLEASE EXIT THE BATTLE NOW. YOU'RE TOO HURT TO CARRY ON THIS WAY, AND... I... I DON'T WANT TO FIND OUT WHETHER OR NOT YOU CAN RESPAWN.

My body, for whatever reason, has apparently decided to bugger off due to being bored of waiting for someone to REVIVE ME ALREADY DAMMIT, meaning that the being that now is standing in the middle of the battle is...

JOHN CE- actually, it's a being that is essentially the result of my soul turning into a ghost and possessing roughly 20 mage robes simultaneously. Said being then turns and wanders off to the hallway, beckoning Gladius to follow, ending up by the coffee machine. Yes, this could technically be counted as a respawn.

The dragon, after relishing the rain of giblets from Anna, used the red gem, whacks the Chaos Saber, and shouts to Gladius:

"If nobody heals you, go. Nobody wants you to die. Don't worry; we can handle ourselves. Take one of our potions if you can't leave and absolutely need health."
