Toast absconds from the fight, and then proceeds to switch places with Coolstar! She then swaps the places of the Rifle and the Railgun, and obtains Infernal Torment! However, the device on the trigger is still there, and it promptly senses you holding the railgun...

(I may have misread / misunderstood your action; do tell if I did)

It then decides to constrict itself, pressing the trigger. And you're inside an enclosed space. The shot fires off and slams into the innermost Transparisteel barrier, then promptly explodes into a rondo of orange embers. Toast takes (40)-ish damage and is insta-gibbed. It also kills the innermost Transparisteel barrier.The Infernal Torment is still inside the box, and Toast respawns at the Memory Bed with 1 HP and the status effect, Deathdazed. You won't be able to enter threatening areas next turn.

Numbersoup then heads to the hangar, and looks at (and then opens) the wrapped box. It's a shield generator for a ship. There's a note with it...

"as you probably know, i ©an'(t) afford (t)o have you die. (t)ake (t)his personal shield genera(t)or. well, (t)he s©hema(t)i©s, anyway."

...That's not a personal shield generator. Chaos probably botched the order, but it might still be helpful, given that you ARE building a ship. Also inside the box was 50 Build Grist, 1 Gold and a Gravity Gun. Darkside then learns that you can't mix potions-

ALCHEMITER: Potion && Green Sap Jar = Red Sap Jar (cost: 5 Grist)
Red Sap Jar: Restores 8 HP and cures all status effects.

...it looks like you CAN mix potions, if you use the Alchemiter located in the Endless Desert. You could also probably try combining weapons; you'll see what you make simply by trying to combine things. Tazz / Roxxanne (what do you want to be called?) zips over to Glitch Temmie, and delivers the letter.

"Thank you, fellow Temmie, but the proper gender pronoun is Tem. Mister won't cut it. Anyway, I believe you're wondering what's in here, and that's simple; upgrades for Chaos's precious robot, Chairitomb. Our weaponry will be complete soon, and our contract with Chaos can be completed." Glitch Temmie proceeds to then bop one of tem's ears on tEMBO's portrait, causing it to open a passageway. Tem slips through, and the door seals shut behind tem. The two Random Temmies then proceed to the area outside of the (former) shack.

Pit then heads to the Cliffs, and puts a rope down! This manages to reach about five meters down; you can only hold so much rope in your pockets. Hover over the Cliff Face to see your progress in descending down the cliff! Piono then proceeds to thank Chaos for the spaghetti.

Redstone then walks over to Gladius and throws her a severed robotic arm.

ga: This is quite broken. It's really not of much use, sans for scrap and maybe crafting.

She slips the arm into your inventory. Pricey then ruins the sawblade trap in a highly vague way, dealing (3) damage to it. He also says that he doesn't get shot by 2 Laser Batteries, tempting fate. OH DEAR. I then proceed to flip a random table because Toast did better than me in Hearthstone. This table fails to land anywhere relevant to the game.

...this has been a strangely long update.

This wave's almost done for. Of interest is Insert's low HP, and the spider egg, which SHOULD be able to be killed fairly easily.

There should be another update tomorrow!

I move to (F7), and THWACK the Inferno Arachnid over the head. I then retreat to (G8) because I'M SUPPOSED TO HAVE A RETREAT STAT, AREN'T I? Or am I missing something? Again?

I also check the recipe for:
Axe && The Web (expecting a chair with axe heads on the bottom, combining The Web's weapon ability with Axe stats [Damage, Range, Retreat, etc.]) (probably too expensive, or not able to be done at all)

I can handle all of the misc. stuff for now. I'll pop in next wave with someone else (cap +1 next wave).

Toast ~toastjumpsplodes~ into Zone 1 and uses the pouch of ~160 nonexistant (at least in this game :^)) gold that I got from 7 wins in arena to store the GREAT HOLLOW sap in. Just to make sure, she also uses the enchanting dust flask I also got to store it so none saps (seeps; geddit because 7 wins on rogue ) out.

Ooh, I just thought of an excellent way for Toast to gain cool stuff! ~Toast can make it in DTG0 and thanks to time shenanigans Toast will get it too!. Although that would mean ~Toast would have to become Toast at some point and also mean there is no fanfic.

I don't feel like fighting another spider, and I am not particularly effective vs. high health enemies, so I run to D5, activate Portal Rend and attack the Glitch Spider Egg. I then run back to D7.

I only hit the stupid Sawblade trap because it deals loads of damage to someone attempting to break the barriers.

I may be mistaken but I think it deals damage to people trying to skip the barriers all together (without destroying them). I think the Sawblade Trap is the lowest or second-lowest priority. The batteries are the real problem. Ok, Tazz. I'm on mobile so I can't see the stats.

Another thing. If going to the tEM lair counts as threatening, Toast just does the first thing that's crossed out :^).

Despite me trying to plan for all possible results, something happened that I didn't account for.

Wilson moves to J9 and heals Darkside for 5-7 and restores his MP.

If the Inferno Spider dodged Darkside's attack, Willow moves to F7 and attacks it. Otherwise, she moves to C6 and attacks the Matriarch. The endoskele moves to B8.

Well, it says anything trying to HIT or SKIP the Transparisteel barriers, meaning we really DO have to do this the hard way. Toast, follow Tem-the rest of us SHOULD be able to just kick this thing down.

I force the Sawblade Trap, which is somehow an actual living being (if basically 100% hostile), to play Nuclear Throne and loop it in the first go, on pain of horrible, horrible damage. It's actually played before and even manages to get a good run and makes it to the titular throne, and even knows to blow up the generators! Of course, the boss instantly kills it because after activating the boss, he/she/it/tem went to immediately blow up the generators, and the boss'es Wave Motion Gun obliterated them in a shot.

This makes them rage so hard it hurts themselves for MASSIVE DAMAGES. MUCH PAIN, SUCH AGONIZING. GIT GUD SAWBLADE TRAP. CRANKY KONG TOLD ME TO TELL YOU THAT. YEAH, HE DID! HE PREDICTED THAT YOU'D FAIL SO BADLY AND SENT ME TO TELL YOU THAT! HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL, SAWBLADE TRAP?! HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL!?

...it seems that this weapon is simply too high a level to be used! As it appears, the Alchemiter has a level cap of 5: Legendary Weapons are at 5.

Toast then wanders over to the portrait of tEMBO, and bops the ear on it. As it appears, it only responds to the ears of a temmie being bopped on the portrait. You then promptly borrow the Temmie Ears, and bap your ear on the portrait using this information I gave you. A passageway slips open, and you sneak in after Glitch Temmie...

...Glitch Temmie fails to notice you as you emerge in what seems to be a massive Temmie Workshop. Unlike the normally sporadic behavior Temmie's normally show, these Temmie's appear to be civilized. With the power of the Temmie Ears, you can hear the Tem's properly, talking about science and stuff. They seem to be working on a multi-barreled missile launcher, probably for that robot, Chairitomb.

The Tem's fail to notice you. All of them do. Numbersoup then moves to the Weapons Testing Facility, but attacks the Transparisteel barriers in a vague fashion. Outside of standard combat, you can use FANCY DTG-esque attacks. But you deal (4) damage, anyway. The Sawblade Trap suddenly activates, dealing (19) damage to Numbersoup! This results in a messy evisceration! Numbersoup respawns in the Memory Bed, and is inflicted with Deathdazed! Patch then heads to the Cliffs again, and throws down some Floorboards, creating a stairway! This consumes all remaining floorboards. It grants you +3 Descent Progress and +10% Safety rating, as stairways tend to be a nice place to stand and are less dangerous than dangling from ropes. Pricey then slaps the Sawblade trap again. (3) damage.

Tazz then subjects the Sawblade Trap to emotional trauma related to Nuclear Throne, inflicting (11) damage to it! The Random Temmies them move SOMEWHERE, and the Glitched Laser Battery shoots at the Transparisteel Barrier, at random! For (10) damage!

This wave is trees. That's all I can really say about the situation. You did get +1 Player Cap, so use that to your advantage!
