Swap Mirror Image out for Focus Energy.

Reworking Shattering Storm again if that's alright:
(Struck by the Rain) Your Basic Attacks also damage all foes within Range 1 of you for 50% of its damage, not counting the initial target. If you are Remiel, this may either use the stats of your own Basic Attack, or that of an entity with Brown Mantle.

Battle:
Remiel keeps Empowered and Evasive, spawns at P21 and waits for all incoming buffs (from Hex and maybe Nidra), then moves to Q20, self-bonus-action casts Focus Energy, then Basic Attacks WARE. Missiles on Q19 and Q21.
Afterwards, whenever Mexagon is in range, Mantle them.

Battle: Heart of the Sphere

Irongutta spawns in at G12, keeping Empowered (and Foam if allowed?) from the previous battle. He immediately moves to M13 and hits WARE with a brutal basic attack.

<ROUND 334>

Echoss explains things to Ette. The Echo Collective isn't just a city; it's several very nice, very large cities! It's also very good and wonderful, and probably everything Ette could ever want in a city. Ette's eyes sparkle. Literally. Chaos must've made that a feature.

ETTE: Whoa! Lots of big cities?
ETTE: How big? How big?
ETTE: Is the Echoss Collective as big as this city? Even bigger?
ETTE: Or is it the size of Tabletopia? I've seen it in Mr. Chaos's textbooks, and apparently Tabletopia's super duper big!
ETTE: I hear they have super big buildings that are the sky, whatever that means!
ETTE: It also goes deep underground, too! They have a big network of tunnels n' stuff down there. Kinda like what's below the library, but maybe less stinky!

Ette is surely about to be blown away by the size of the Echo Collective.

JOE expands his dominion. As the He-Man of Farming (whatever that means), he determines that the sunlamps and hose are plenty. Sprinklers, though... they're likely not desirable. In a garden such as this with a dedicated gardener, sprinklers would deal more damage than anything. He does however, take a moment to water the Serenea's and the Sentinels. Notably, the Sentinels reach over to drink water directly from whatever it is he's using to water the plants. Strange little buggers.

He also does a wide variety of crafts, consuming a chunk of Crystallized Mana, 30 Lifeblood Sap, a vague number of resources harvested from a few dozen Seekers, 10 Decay, and 30 Fluxblood. This creates the Cursefree Narehate, Praetorian Armor CROPS, and Chibi Farmer Steve.

Hexagon purchases a few Wormhole Edges and Autoloaders. Sensing a potential for profit, Yung Venuz doubles the prices of Autoloaders for the future. Meanwhile, Chaos vibrates intensely in the background, much like the humble tem going about their business.

CHAOS: serious [t]alk
CHAOS: yv has made more money [t]han me
CHAOS: and i am going [t]o [c]ry if [t]his is no[t] re[c][t]ified in [t]he nex[t] [t]wo rounds

CHAOS: i[t]'s a really shiny ro[c]k you'll love i[t]

...An item goes up for sale in the Temmie Shop. Right this wrong, Spherebreakers. You must.

Adria learns how to feel primal fear. Even she can feel WARE's immense strength. And yet, she can't help but think that something feels wrong with the situation. Why would an entity like him be so... utterly predictable?

WARE: Excuse me. I can hear your thoughts, in those brackets of yours.
WARE: You know we post our actions days in advance, right?
WARE: It'd be a goddamned crime if you failed to predict what a Descendant was doing.
WARE: Not that prediction ever helped Richard. Or anyone, really.

WARE: Speaking of posting, hold on.
WARE: Gotta meet a deadline.
WARE: What happens in this next post will spell the end of the AS faction.

In the middle of battle, WARE equips a laptop and begins typing something out. It's taking him an awful long time. Is he... manipulating spreadsheets? My god. It is a known fact that entities capable of manipulating spreadsheets can manipulate the fabric of space itself. Or uh, it looks like he's manipulating a normal spreadsheet. My bad.

Elsewhere in the timeline, or perhaps actually in the Sphere, Hannah learns about the planet's wariness towards outsiders. One word, four letters, shift held down. WARE. Man's a local, y'know?

CHI: ...Yes.
CHI: It would take monumental effort to do worse than he has.
CHI: You'd need your own multi-day long quest to even get close.
CHI: And even then, you would need to commit a few dozen crimes against your own people before that.
CHI: Trust me when I say you're fine in the grand scheme of things.
CHI: The people will probably accept anyone who aids in stopping his reign.

We can hope so, at least.

Destiny claims the Patch Note Pen. Took you guys long enough.

So, what is Blacklight, anyway? The physical embodiment of edginess? Yes. Sakura nods her head gently. Then pauses. Processing...

SAKURA: Wait, really? You're gorillaing me.
SAKURA: T-That was a JOKE!
SAKURA: How the hell does one person develop so much daddy issues that they manifest into a full-gorilla dude!? I assume you're a dude, anyway.
SAKURA: Like, I have issues, but not that much issues.

SAKURA: But... you're a code thingy, you said?
SAKURA: Kinda like WARE, maybe? I hear he's some weird code-thingy too.
SAKURA: Coding's like, something Cypress or the Tabletopians do or whatever. I don't see how pressing buttons and putting said buttons on a screen can create literal goddamn life, though.
SAKURA: Maybe coding's just another form of magic or some gorilla.
SAKURA: ...Is it?

While Sakura considers how code-based genetics work and if Blacklight is actually WARE's edgy teen brother, Lato is busy dealing with her homemade Everbloom that she calls a "revived person". I mean, she can't be certain if they're going to explode or not. Lato decides to ask the person if they're okay. Of course, they layer on at least 3 different defensive spells first, and allow Marron to crit a nearby rat so she can gain Divine Shield. So. They ok?

GARDENER: BWAaAAAAaaaaaAAAAAAaaaaAAAAGHHHHHHH-

The gardener's mouth unhinges, a torrent of elemental energy instantly vaporizing Lato and Marron's faces. Fortunately, their defensive buffs change this attack from "world ending" to "slight headache inducing". Their jaw goes shut after firing a torrent of the self, still unresponsive.

MARRON: J-Jeez!
MARRON: H-How much energy did you g-give them?
MARRON: Either you gave them far too much, or they can't contain that much energy, or... something!
MARRON: I-It's probably y-your fault!

MARRON: But... I think it miiiight just be me, but they're glowing a bit less?
MARRON: Maybe you can vent thet rest of that energy in a way that won't kill us?
MARRON: I mean, I guess it's fine if we die since we can respawn, but... I'd rather not, y'know?

Then, hours in the past, Calibri parries Past!Chloe's strike with one of Maxim's legs. Such a high-quality ingredient makes the perfect tool for deflecting Chloe's puny Tier 2 sword, which bounces off unceremoniously. She takes a few more swings, but they're each as predictable as the last, and easily blocked. She's definitely getting a little cheesed off at how defensive he's being, but it's probably for the best, right?

Meanwhile, Daikon's HP drops to a rather low value. Calibri estimates he has about fifteen seconds / this next round to do something to get him out of there. Though, it might be hard to do that with Past!Chloe wailing away at him. If the battle ends the moment Daikon's extracted, maybe he can afford to bop her on the noggin or something? Disable her for a second so he can save Daikon's existence. It might be worth a shot!

Finally, over at the site of the battle, Calibri praises Chloe for her speech. She blushes gently, turning towards him and as away from WARE as she possibly can.

CHLOE: A-Ah, um... t-thanks!
CHLOE: K-Kind of a heat of t-the moment t-thing, y'know?
CHLOE: And n-now I'm getting all f-flustered in front o-of the final boss...

WARE aggressively continues to type on his laptop. It seems he hasn't even noticed her freaking out in the slightest.

Auth checkmates Leshy. It's a legal term in this game, because there are pieces on a board. Throwing a Kunai at Leshy, he pops his Divine Shield, Aqua Showers for 1 damage, plays Tainted Remedy, and sets down Gift Card.

Leshy immediately McHeckingDies™ the moment he takes his action as Auth flips Gift Card, inverting the healing. He drops dead on the spot, knocking over the shiny item on the table. It rolls off the table, Auth narrowly catching it before it strikes the ground. It's a roll of film. Then, an object falls out of Leshy's pocket. A camera.

Combining the two, Auth gets a Tier 8 item: Leshy's Camera! A consumable. He's pretty sure if he did this before the final battles, it would've been a Trinket or Weapon or something. This is probably more useful given the circumstances.

<HEART OF THE SPHERE, ROUND 2>
As the Sphere is redesigned into a vibrant wonderland, WARE has finally finished typing up... something on their laptop! They plop down in the middle of the newly-formed nest, still snug in their throne. The laptop is stashed away, and then thrown out the borehole of the Sphere. It is accelerated to incredible speeds and fired out at a random civilian in the Citadel.

WARE: Okay. Listen up.
WARE: I have this great idea in which to take my lore.
WARE: So, there's this really cool game I wanna tell you guys about.

WARE hands out Steam Gift Cards to the entire party. He considers showing some gameplay to the party, but he accidentally fired his laptop out the Sphere earlier. Oh well. He can always buy a new one. So instead, he decides to recreate something on the walls of the Sphere. Manipulating it with dexterity, he creates a video of sorts.

Upon the wall is some sort of underground facility, split into ten segments. Small figures move around the halls, interfacing with curious creatures cooped up in test chambers. Then, one of them breaks out. Pandemonium occurs as the wall spontaneously ignites due to God Himself breaking free and raining judgment upon the facility. WARE extinguishes the wall in a hurry.

WARE: Lobotomy Corporation is SO. COOL.
WARE: Flavor! Style! An interesting world! About one hundred unique entity ideas!
WARE: And the entirety of the soundtrack is a banger, too!

WARE: Pokemon? Minecraft? Problem Sleuth? That's all old news.
WARE: All my future lore will be built off of this game alone.
WARE: Just imagine it! The undefeatable WhiteNight reverberating through the world, eliminating all sinners! Nothing There cutting swathes through all in their way! Ppodae doing... cute dog things!
WARE: And when I run out of lore... there's a whole second game to pull from!
WARE: In fact... why don't I give you a taste now?

=CHARGE=
-50 / 50- BRANCH -> EXECUTE.
-709 / 744- Dawn of a New World

Two metallic boxes descend from the roof of the Sphere. As they open up, untold horrors spill into the room, causing everyone's mental corruption to skyrocket. A bird, wreathed in their own sin. An apple who's malice tears apart the land. With extraction completed, they breach and attack!

BEGIN THE FIRST TRUMPET!

Two Eliti burst forth from the ceiling. One is a bird wreathed in dark feathers, quite reminiscent of the Gallow or Gibbet. They stand on two long spindly legs, scales hanging from their neck. Purple horns (feathers?) jut out of their bandaged head. A scent of decay hangs with them, as if it could burn up your very being. The other is a feminine figure that writhes, vines sprouting from its body and apple-like head. The vines spread from their legs and across the ground, threatening to engulf the entire arena.

Tilted Scale and Queen's Fruit have appeared!

WARE: Face the fear. Build the future.
WARE: Not that there'll be a future for any of us.

Focus your attention on Tilted Scale and Queen's Fruit! While Eliti are out on the field, WARE's attack patterns are wildly different. They'll deal fairly low amounts of damage, but apply a series of buffs to their allies! Just still watch out for their Quick Post: whatever curveballs that throws will likely keep you on your feet! Go get them, Spherebreakers!

Teag really would prefer to not be anywhere near this Queen's Fruit thing, but he hears Venia shout something at him about it not having a good way to hit him at Range 1. Deciding to trust them on this one, he stays put, activates a Cryptic Scheme, and doesn't put on a hat since none of them matter right now. He then finally activates his Special that he charged up three years, nine months, and twenty seven days ago, blasting the Sephira4 with a Light-type attack, presumably also hitting the QFruit and Blossom in between with Machina. He applies the Field Disruptor stratagem to the attack. If it survives the attack, he Vitalstrikes it for good measure.

It was inevitable.

Character Sheet Fixes

Encourage and Expel should both be 15 MP due to Calamitic Efficiency.

In The Final

Adria glares at WARE in disbelief. They know they're predictable. And wat was that about brackets?

ADRIA: ...Sorry, what?

Regardless, she loads a syringe of nanomachines, but it's different than the one she usually uses. One that "encourages" a body to keep fighting for longer.

ACTUAL ACTION

Adria moves to (U20) and uses Encourage on Star. This resurrects them to full HP and with Swift1, Guardian2, Empowered2, and Enlightened2 for 3 rounds. She then uses Full Attention To Praise!, then Nanomend Duct Tapes Calibri for a cool (34) HP.

The Exosuit Greatblade Smashes Destroyer2.

Hannah

HANNAH: Y-yeah.

She falls silent. With the stuff from the whole emperor fiasco with the poison, she knows what she's capable of creating, given time. Though, she soon remembers what it was for in the first place. If nothing else, it was to stop life here after the Sphere from being under the thumb of a far-future greedy maniac of an emperor. As well as saving everyone's hide from it in the present.

She stands up. Seems like her break's over.

HANNAH: I shouldn't stick around much longer.
HANNAH: I'd better get to helping the actual sphere-breaking effort.
HANNAH: ...Can't really help directly, but maybe a few items might go a long way.

HANNAH: ...I hope to see you in a bit.

Hannah dashes off.

The Sphere Waiting Room

i guess everyone's here now

Michaela quietly leans against the tree in the bottom-right of the waiting room, head lowered, deep in thought, barely even registering anyone's presence. Wasn't she supposed to be in prison? Echoss... probably missed a timeclone.

Boshi seems to be vibing, playing a game of Spirit Island at the game table with Sophia and Dorothy. At least they're enjoying themselves.

Hannah, meanwhile, has slapped together a makeshift chemlab, brewery, and cooking pot behind the TV, ready to make more crimes against life. Or food. Take your pick.

...It seems like one of Adria's drones is also there to assist in anything technical.

Managourd Brew
INGREDIENTS:

Fresh Manabloom x10
Coffee Beans x2
Everground Flowers x5
Fae Pollen x2
Amberroot Log x2
Large Pumpkin x4
Creation Meteorite x1

Hannah immediately gets the Fresh Manabloom, Coffee Beans, and Everground Flowers, grinding them both into a fine powder. She adds some Fae Pollen to the mix to spike the mana content of the flowers as much as she can muster.

She then adds the Amberroot logs and a lot of water to a sort of distillery, cut into shreds. After a thorough mix, she sets it on boil to extract the golden sap from it. It takes a while before the sap-entrained water starts coming out, but it happens in due time. It's then put through a secondary distillation to separate out the water, eventually drying the sap out enough to create a golden syrup. She adds the final result to the mixture, ensuring that she mixes it thoroughly.

She then sets the mixture to the side to simmer. Then she starts gutting pumpkins, setting aside their guts for later. This is going to be a huge batch of stuff, isn't it...

Hannah then starts creating Jack-O-Lanterns out of the pumpkins and starts shoving pieces of Creation Meteorite into them. She sets them aside, waiting for something to happen...

Hannah takes the pumpkin guts and the mixture from earlier and adds them to an absolutely humongous bowl. Truly, this is the absolute unit of bowls. Plus a giant spoon from the inventory. Forgot we had those, didn'cha? Either way, she gets to mixing. And mix she does, not even bothering to pick out the pumpkin seeds.

Add some water, transfer to a large pot, surround with Jack-O-Lanterns lit with a rainbow light. It's like a rave in there, my word. Maybe the canonical proximity to Halloween is doing something here. Spirits coming back for a hell of a party.

Hannah lets the stuff cook, with the Jack-O-Lanterns pouring their haunted rave energy into whatever the heck she just made.

As the mixture cooks, the room fills wit the scent of... pumpkin spice muffins? Something must've changed with the Jack-O-Lantern energy, there's no way it should smell like that. The seeds transformed into all the spices required for it to smell like that. Is it cheating? ...Yea kinda.

Well, lucky for Marron, the mix is not intended to be made into muffins. Her baking career can continue to not be threatened. Instead, once everything's all cooked, Hannah starts drawing the mixture into flasks, a shimmering orange liquid filling them full. She stoppers the flask and gets to filling another after a quick stir. One flask gets about... 1/12th of the way through the mixture. Oh boy.

RESULT: Managourd Brew (T6) x12
A magically-enhanced, spooky drink that smells like pumpkin spice muffins.
Restores (20-21) MP. Apply Fear2 for two rounds to a foe within Range 1-3.

Apoco-Rush
INGREDIENTS:

Goneblossom x20
Coffee Beans x20
Psychoid Leaves x5
Yellow Sap Blob x2
Darkmater Cluster x1
Purple Sap Blob x1
Nanite Compound x1
Rad x1

...Hannah's about to make someone hyper, isn't she.

She grinds down the coffee beans as fine as she could. Which ends up being dust-szed. Thsi can only go well.

She also grinds up some Psychoid and a lot of Goneblossom separately, and additionally places in some Yellow Sap and Purple Sap. She boils this mixture to extract the potency from all of it before adding it to the coffee powder and mixing.

Adria's drone assists in the endeavor by reprogramming some Nanite Compound into somehting that can multiply the effect of whatever it's put into. But that comes later.

Hannah then begins breaking down a Darkmatter Cluster into shards, clearly not big enough to drink safely. But that's the point, they're not meant to be drunk. She tosses them and the mixture into a small fermenting tank with water to sit for a sec.

Adria's drone combines the nanites with a Rad, makign something truly, absurdly dangerous, but also potentially powerful in what Hannah is aiming to do. And with that, Hannah yeets the nanites into the tank and she shuts it.

Immediately things start going wild. The Goneblossom portion of the mixture starts absorbing all the energy from the Darkmatter Cluster shards, turning the brew a solid black. The stench of almost unbearably intense coffee wafts from the tank as the nanites work their magic, amplifying the already crazy amount of coffee produced from the beans and mixture. And the tank itself appears to spark a red-green every so often, with the Psychoid being enhanced along with the syrup.

Soon enough, though, things calm down. Hannah connects the tank with a separator, and lets it run into flasks. As one of the flasks fill up, a pitch black and dull crimson swirls through the fluid, with bright grey, drained Cluster shards floating through it, broken down and rendered inert. It looks like a small starry sky in there, if it weren't literally a Calypse In A Bottle.

Knowing how volatile these components probably are, and not wanting to make the room stench with coffee for the next decade, Hannah "permanently" seals the glass flask by melting the neck closed. She does this a total of twice more.

RESULT: Apoco-Rush (T7) x3
Raw caffeine and adrenaline for running from your imminent doom. Or into it. I don't judge.
Grants Swift2 and Teleport for a round. This round, place an Apoco-spill within Range 2 of you after moving. Next round, deal (20-20) Dark damage to anything on the tile, with Splash 1 for 50% damage.

As Hannah moves to start with something actively dangerous... she hesitates.

HANNAH: . . .

[BATTLE]
I look at the signpost. Its insight is staggering. Somehow, possibly because I practically told him and oriented my entire aesthetic around it, WARE realised that, yes. This Is what I wanted. A small, safe place with farmland. A farm. Somewhere to grow crops, untouched by the dangers of the world.
...
Of course WARE still has to die because otherwise he's going to explode and destroy my new farm.
But I can tone down the aggression! It's a peace offering of a kind, and I appreciate it. Yes, this was definitely a peace offering. Me and Mirror-Me both nod in agreement with ourselves, both spending 3 GP on Eterna. I then spend 2 GP on Manabloom, and Mirror-Me spends 2 GP on Goneblossom.

I move to Y4, then activate Undergrowth, spending 20 HP to gain +2 Buff Levels this round; swift-cast Terraform, with 5.5+2+2+1=10.5 Buff Levels for a total of 5 Tiles! I terraform W3 into an allied door or if I can't do that into... I dunno, cover... Y4 into a Power Well, [TILES TO BE DECIDED SPARE TILES ARE MORE SHACK FARMLAND AND A SHALLOW WATER TILE IN THE SHACK TO WATER THE FARMLAND] and, if Farmland does give the effects of Farmland, S13 into Farmland! It's a tile on the map, I can terrafrom things into it! I then cast double-mobile-super Illusory Trap to V/U3, why not.
(With my current buffs, that's 2 42-44 damage Illusory Traps. plus the power well buff, but I don't know how to compute it- it's not in the damage formula!).
Mirror-Me proceeds to also swift-cast Terraform, putting Farmland on Q13, R13 as power well, [TILES TO BE DECIDED SPARES PER ABOVE], then meditates.
For my item action, I plant some Manabloom Seeds from the [Everything Else] inventory on the farmland in my little safe box, because as stated, "(...Farmland!) is a farmland (and I) may grow things on it"!

[WORLD]
So, the gardener is full of way too much elemental energy right now and needs to be purged of it so they can wake up, right? I have the greatest idea! Like I did with all that spare mana I had, we should crystalize all this spare elemental energy into crystals! Now, granted, mana is usually calmer than most elements, and there was probably less of it, and it won't be my elemental energy, and it's possible I'll explode a few times. But my armor should contain the explosion! probably! So I place the Will Of The Crops(It's very energy-conductive, probably!) in contact with their still-glowing body and try to siphon the excess elemental energy back out, and then crystallise it into elemental crystals which can be used for things.

Battle: This isn't Library of Ruina Ire

"Alright, alright, get it together! Xavier, help!"

Venia uses Kickstart My Heart, which due to the battle shifting over is actually still her free use, for no MHP loss. Yay! Nia will also trigger the Luminous Rose to refresh her Ordo up to 5 rounds for 5 MP.

Venia then moves to H10 and activates three shoves from her Special to move Irongutta to L11, bypassing any damage from Vines he would take due to the Forced Movement. She then actually completes her own movement at I9, where she activates Hope Rides Eternal to shove Irongutta further to O13. In conjunction with JOE this should give him a clear shot at Sephirah2 without racking up too much backlash damage. Her remaining special shove is spent moving Blossom1 up to K10 and Carrion5 down to K8. She then uses Phantasmal Force exactly once, on Sephirah1, scoring an uptick from that and refreshing her full suite of special buffs. She then activates Separation eastward, slapping Tilted Scales (sadly reduced dramatically by its trait), Blossom1, Carrion5, Sephirah1 and the immune Sephirah5, but oh well. Ordo (+60%) and Empowered5 (+25%) are the attack's boosts.

Xavier then acts, moving to L7. He activates Eul's Scepter on Blossom2, trapping it in Stasis and giving it just enough time to make peace with its impending demise. He follows up with Bloodthorne targeted on Sephirah1, which applies Primed3... And no Silence, because its' immune to Prevention-but due to a legal loophole this means the Silence wears off instantly and it just does damage upfront.

Xavier does not retreat, completing his move-and per his trait, his Godhands auto-teleport to tiles within Range 1-2 of him. Specifically, to J9, K9, L8 and M8. How convenient. The Godhands at J9 and K9 slap Tilted Scales to get its attention and do some chip damage; the Godhands at L8 and M8 both basic attack Sephirah1, triggering Primed both times.

Meanwhile, Nia will move to J12. She taps Seeker3 (to death), then uses the Luminous Rose to move Blossom3 into an abyss, instantly killing it. If Blossom1 is still alive, she will use her other Luminous Rose action to move it into an abyss to kill it as well. She then will shoot at Sephirah4 if it is still alive, first with her basic attack, then up to two uses of the Elemental Sniper set to the light element as necessary. If Sephirah4 is dead, she will set up a Glacier Drop at R18-overhead Queen's Fruit, benefitting from Ordo (+2 Buff Levels) and 2 Manafuelled (+2 more Buff Levels, totalling 4). snow white metaphysically sassing this apple

This enemy phase, Tilted Scales shouldn't move and strike directly north, draining 3 sin to give to Venia and Godhands 1+2, and generating 1 sin for Godhand3 and Godhand4 (who will Shell Stance for Xavier). The targeting of Weight of Sin will also give all the Godhands and Nia +1 Sin. After the enemy phase, Venia, Godhand1 and Godhand2 should have 3 sin, Godhand3 and Godhand4 should have 2 each, and Nia should have 1.

House

Blacklight reacts to Sakura's reaction with a shrug.

"Believe me, I am as confused about it as you are. By all accounts, I'm not even sure I should be able to exist."

Then the coding question. Upon hearing that thought sequence, Blacklight turns and looks out the nearest window, directly at the sphere if it happens to be in view. He remains silent for quite a while...

"...While most would not view it that way, you are correct in a sense. Both are types of information. The writing on a scroll compares well enough to the code that determines how a program works. Certain recorded inputs lead to certain recorded outputs... The comparison between life types is the harder one to make. I'm not an authority on the matter, but I believe that a person's thoughts and a machine's instructions are similar. At least, when the latter is sufficiently advanced."

He turns back to Sakura. His expression seems a little more jovial... as much as you can get that kind of expression from that kind of being.

"...Or maybe I'm completely wrong and it's just inexplicably plot bullGORILLA that makes all the weird things happen. I can't know for certain."

"..."

Loading.

Zone 6 - The Eclipsed Citadel

Lato's pupils narrow marginally once she realizes how badly that could've ended.

"I felt that... For your information, Marron, I am marginally perturbed. Regardless... you are correct. The method of venting that excess is the difficult part..."

She pauses to consider her options. While she could probably prompt the gardener into taking more action, which would theoretically help alleviate some of the built-up energy, she needs to be careful here. Maybe it'd be best to start with more information gathering first.

...Should be no harm in a quick scan.

The Past - Zone 2 - Whispering Library

{15 seconds, huh. I think I can do this. Just need to be... very particular. And mind the time stream.}

15.

"...Enough."

14.

Calibri moves offensively against Chloe for once. But he still doesn't want to harm her. So he just goes for something more harmless, swinging at her sword to either disarm her or knock her off balance.

13.

He glances over at the battle. They're not quite done yet. Still, he's committed now. He prepares to move. But one more glance at Chloe to make sure she can't intervene, then he sets off properly.

12.

Calibri wonders how humans can stand getting around so slowly with this whole "running" business. But he doesn't really want too much attention drawn to himself before he can act. He's not entirely ready.

11.

He remembers a crucial step in the process, that being the time machine, and takes hold of it. But he needs to free his other hand for other plans, so he tosses the Maxim leg aside and prays to whatever deity may exist that he doesn't need that back.

10.

He realizes that he's going to have to muck things up one way or another if he wants to make sure this goes smoothly. Hopefully he can requisition something useful and improvise from there... Inventory's lacking in relevant options at the moment. But he can work something out. Namely by nabbing something from the Tem Shop. A single Hivemind Regalia.

9.

Calibri has arrived in position, and also interrupted the battle with his unarmed, undergeared, iti-disguised self. This is not a good position to be in against a bundle of spherebreakers, even if they are much lower level than he is right now. He holds up the Hivemind Regalia, concentrating power into it and uttering one command.

"...Stay back."

8.

That should buy him some precious seconds. Hopefully. He turns his attention to Droplet first. He needs to make sure the events still roughly play out as they canonically did. His image flickers, as does the time machine he's holding, and in a burst of chronoparticles (or whatever they're meant to be called), she vanishes. He's not sure what will happen. Hopefully nothing too concerning.

7.

He turns his attention to the party again. He does his best to guess how events probably played out. Then, in a sudden burst of energy, the Hivemind Regalia explodes in his hand, projecting false memories and a hazy cloud of confusion outwards from the explosion.

6.

Calibri should really finish up here while everyone else is distracted. He quickly turns, flashstepping over to Daikon and preparing to leave. That trick he did to send Droplet off may have messed with something, though.

5.

{...Come on, work, you damned thing.}

4.

Calibri glances back at the past Spherebreaker team. He hopes they're still distracted, but chances are that's not the case... He needs to go sooner rather than later, just in case. Hell, if they got backup at this point, that would be disastrous.

3.

The time machine activates. First, Daikon is gone. Then, Calibri glances at the time machine, which seems to be taking a bit longer than expected for him. It's a bit concerning. He doesn't want to be stuck here.

2.

{No. Don't stall now. Don't you dare do this to me.}

1.

As if answering an unheard plea, the machine sparks to life. And with the narrowest margin of time to spare, Calibri is gone in a flash too, leaving behind not a trace...

...Well, okay, he did kind of leave the Maxim leg behind, but still! That shouldn't be too big a cause for concern, right? It's just one minor detail. And he did take care with most of the other details. Speaking of other details...

...

Zone 4 - The Old Pass

There's a comical flopping sound as one Calibri (still dressed as the Thymetraveler) flops onto the floor outside the church front, likely joined by one Daikon. Calibri kind of isn't moving yet. Hopefully whatever happens next doesn't go too badly.

Battle in the Sphere - Heart of the Sphere

Calibri was enjoying the moment up until Ware mind-controlled R8 into shooting him into a pit. That kind of ruined it. But still, now probably isn't the time anyway.

"...Darn, I was having a moment there... Anyway, back to business, I guess. Lemme just get a plan sorted... Any thoughts on this, Chloe?"

He writes down some instructions on a sheet of paper, folds it into a plane, and flings it through the air... into the pit as well. Thankfully, paper airplanes don't take falling damage, so he can just retrieve the plane after it falls on him and fling it again, this time landing by Chloe as intended. And he wrote a set of instruction-suggestions on there.

>Calibri: to S19
>Chloe: to O20, then P21, then Q21
>Calibri: apply empowered7 to Chloe + self
>Chloe basic attack QFruit (Cal chimes in), retreat to S21

Sphere Waiting Room

Due to not being used in the battle, Lato and Verdana flop into here. Verdana specifically takes up temporary residence on the F12 square, apparently having never been given proper instructions on how to couch. Lato, meanwhile, observes the geyser.

"What a mess."

Her solution is apparently to pull out a broom and start trying to sweep thyme matter away from the fridge and bookcase.

Getting this post out so I can at least do my RP

Sophia:

Ette:
Echoss chuckles.
Several of them completely cover the planets they are built on, including digging far underground. One of them is even bigger than the largest planets, though that one's much less like the cities you're probably expecting in terms of structure.

Sorry for missing my battle action guys

BATTLE - ENDGAME HEART OF SPHERE YADDA YADDA:

Fully Pop Concerto'd up, Keane pushes a button on the Fighter Jet, activating its (Fighter) ability as a bonus action. Several large guns emerge from the sides of the jetpack, opening fire on Carrion1, with Splash1.

KEANE: Hasta la pizza, baby! WHOOO!

Keane then darts to M23. The Negotiator hat begins glowing as Keane starts fast-talking Sephirah3 as a bonus action.

KEANE: If you sell me that Empowered4, I'll throw in a free Enlightened4 as part of the deal!

Having absolutely no idea that this is a scam, Sephirah3 trades its Empowered4 for Keane's Enlightened4.

Keane then turns around and shoots Carrion2 in the face as a basic attack.

KEANE: Hahahaha, yessss!
KEANE: Man, I shoulda come here sooner!

Remiel is now Liberating.

Whenever Mex moves to Row 8, Remiel immediately unmantles to whatever tile on Row 9 is adjacent.

After Mex's turn, Remiel throws a Tornado Bomb to F12, then moves to E13 and Relinquish-Mantles Vesperia1. Missiles spawn at B16 and C17.

Remiel's existing missiles shoot the adjacent vines.

Zahlia goes to H8 and then uses Judgement cut on the Blossom.
This should go kill it instantly, right? If that target isn't viable then it's the Carrion instead, and then the Scales.

<ROUND 335>

Nia is asked to upgrade some items! Slurrypost™ Johnson hands Nia the Mirror Orb and a Heaven's Remedy. Though, he mentioned something interesting- Droplet flavored Monster Energy?

NIA: Ooh!~
NIA: I'd like... fifty cans, please! Or bottles! Or metallic tins?
NIA: What do you serve it in, anyway?

While Nia daydreams about gamer(?) girl energy drinks, she accidentally upgrades the Heaven's Remedy into a Lightbulb, and the Mirror Orb into two mirrors, pointed at one another. Truly, she is a professional. Perhaps a degenerate, but a professional degenerate. A degenerate professional? One of the two.

Adria glares at WARE, moderately confuzzled. What? They know they're predictable? WARE sighs, and facepalms.

WARE: It seems you are unfamiliar with the deep lore and mechanics of Destroy the Godmodder.
WARE: So. Basically. We take the horrific things we'll do to our enemies, broadcast them hours in advance, and then be surprised when Richard figures out how to avoid what it is we're doing.
WARE: That's how its always been done.
WARE: Are we clear?
WARE: Simple stuff, really.

While WARE sighs and mutters something about the "new generation", Hannah decides to get back to her job of breaking a Sphere. She dashes away from Chi, the nurse waving a friendly farewell as Hannah corrects her timeline.

CHI: Farewell, Hannah.
CHI: Good luck with your endeavors against the Sphere. Even if I'm coming with you to assist.
CHI: Yes. Still, best of luck!

Meanwhile, in the Sphere's waiting room, Mari takes a nap on the floor. About three feet away from her, Hannah tapes together some shiny new items! A collection of organics are thrown together to create 4 Managourd Brews, and a slightly more questionable colection of organics are thrown together to create 3 Apoco-Rushes. Omorika vibrates intensely in the background. What might be the strongest coffee known to the universe has come into being. She wouldn't miss it for the world.

JOE performs some crystallization! Like he did with his hundreds of spare MP points, why not crystallize the remaining elemental energy left within the just-revived Gardener? He plants the Will of the Crops against the patient's body, absorbing a cubic heckton of elemental energy! The Will of the Crops is more than suited to such a task though, and blooms into a variety of Regalia! He snaps them off of his weapon, throwing them into the inventory. 1 of every Elemental Regalia (save for the Volcanic Regalia) obtained!

Seems like the elemental energy has all been dispersed from the man's body. And they're still alive, to boot! Perhaps Marron and Lato will be able to uncover something come their post?

Speaking of "their post", Calibri, Lato, and Blacklight continue their day-to-other-day activities. Sure, Blacklight might not be entirely sure how they're even able to exist, but whatever. Sakura has the burning question as to whether coding is like magic. It's not, but also yes. Both are types of information, and whatever's written on a scroll can be seen as a type of programming language. Apparently, even a person's thoughts and a machine's instructions can be oddly familiar...

SAKURA: What? That doesn't make sense.
SAKURA: How could a robot feel anything that we could?
SAKURA: Like, not even magic could create something like that, right?
SAKURA: Except we know for a fact that WARE exists, so... I-I don't know!
SAKURA: Maybe he only pretends to have feelings and a personality and thoughts and gorilla. so that he can blend in?
SAKURA: God. Who even knows what people are thinking, creating these things!?

Next, after JOE does his elemental condensation shtick upon the gardener, Lato scans the gardener's body. Marron watches over their shoulder in interest, even though there's no way she'll understand what the scan results are. She does her best, okay? The scans reveal that not only have energy levels stabilized, but they're now properly alive! Marron grabs Lato's arm, forces it up, then gives it a hi-five.

MARRON: Yay, we did it!
MARRON: And I didn't even need to lose ninety percent of my blood!
MARRON: I guess JOE also helped, too.

She gives JOE a stare. Something about him terrifies her on a primal level. Waltzing into the room unannounced and immediately running the perfect medical operation, all so he could maybe farm a little better? Scary stuff. She'd best remember not to get in the way of JOE and his crops ever.

Then, within the past, Calibri begins to count down from 15. In what's likely a blur to him, he swings directly at Past!Chloe's sword, knocking it out of her hands and into the air. She's thrown into a panic, backpedaling to where her sword will fall. With this opening, Calibri equips the time machine and a Hivemind Regalia. He casts an AoE disruption pulse sort of thing with the regalia, dazing everyone in the area long! This also has the nice side-effect of wiping the events of this time-based alteration from everyone's minds. Unfortunately, this also causes Chloe to get bonked on the head by her falling sword, giving her a small bump. owie

He grabs Daikon, who takes this moment to yeet Droplet backwards in time for the sake of the timeline. He also rewinds the Maxim Leg back into the inventory, and remains still as Calibri readies the time machine. But to his dismay, it seems to be malfuncitoning- or perhaps, completely broken? Chaos must've given him a defective model! Luckily for him, Calibri has just looted a time traveler. With a wave of their hands, Daikon launches the two of them into the future.

With a somewhat quiet pop, the two materialize in front of the Church of the Rose. Daikon sits down next to Calibri, not saying anything. He's the slightest bit confused. Why would someone go through all this effort to yank him over from the past? Nothing to do but wait, he supposes.

Finally, over in the Sphere Waiting Room, Lato begins to sweep away at the Thyme Matter spewing from the geyser. Unfortunately, the Thyme Matter is replenished about as fast as she can clear it away. Perhaps it'd be best to go after the source of the mess first?

Hexagon buys a rock. This costs 10,000 Credits, making it the single biggest purchase in the game to date.

CHAOS: ni[c]e

HEXAGON ACCOMPLISHMENT GET: rock

Ah, he also buys three Wormhole Edges. Because the rock simply was not enough to satisfy his need to blow all these credits as quickly as possible. And who could blame him? Gotta spend everything before the end of the game, y'know?

Echoss states the bigness of the Echo Collective to Ette. It is not just a small city that takes up a tiny part of a big planet. It is the big planet, and it's all one gargantuan city. They completely cover the planet from pole to pole- if you were to remove the planet from existence, you'd end up with a surprisingly stable metal shell.

Ette is, of course, completely blown away.

ETTE: Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa!
ETTE: H-How can a city even be that big? How am I meant to see all the sights in the city if it's that big?
ETTE: I'm gonna need a really, really good tour guide!
ETTE: Or rollerskates!
ETTE: Mr. Echoss, do you have rollerskates? I should start practicin' if I'm gonna see everything before I become a really old Ette!

It has likely not occurred to Ette that rollerskates will not be enough to traverse an entire planet in any reasonable amount of time. Unless Echoss has a solution? One that doesn't pertain to rollerskating? But maybe give her the skates anyway. She'd be really happy.

<HEART OF THE SPHERE, ROUND 3>
WARE's new move involves Prescripts! Eight of you have been given a special rule to follow this round. Failure to follow it means a moderate amount of pain, so be careful! Anyway, just keep the pressure up on both Eliti! Don't forget to maybe trim the vines that Queen's Fruit is leaving behind, too! The battlefield may become a crowded place otherwise...
