Continued reminder that there are beetles monitoring all of Zone 0
Additionally, are beetles set up in areas around Zone 1, outside of Regalus' sightlines but close enough that should he relocate he can be tracked.

Regalus and co:
A Terrence hummingbird flutters over by Sophia.
"Miss Sophia, correct? Would you happen to have any time magic handy?
There is something of an issue that needs dealing with down there that we can deal with easily at the moment.
"
Sophia responds
"The woman down there, Rebecca, has a bomb buried under her feet. Presumably to damage the house, as the one she came with has decided to attack the Spherebreakers. We need to remove it without her notice in case she can detonate it remotely."
Sophia responds again.
"Under orders from Regalus. The 'emperor' who showed up this morning, supposedly to retrieve Maria."
Terrence gestures, and a small translucent orb appears in front of him for a few seconds, demonstrating its approximate size.
"Replacing it with something similar is probably more useful at the moment, I doubt replacing it with something more malicious would help at the moment, and there will be opportunities for... 'preventative measures' later. Right now avoiding unwanted demolitions is the goal."

Down below Echoss nods.
"Extremely certain. I intend no offence, madame, but if you don't come with us into the house so we can at least scan you then we might need to pull you in there ourselves."

Terrence nods at Nana's worry.
"Don't worry, we actually already have someone watching the Chapel. It's close enough we wanted to make sure nobody tried to target the Godblossom."
Auth, upon arrival, sees Echoss and Terrence talking with Rebecca, where she is currently marked on the map at the house.

Magic Club:
Echoss continues to converse with Aoki
"Slavery takes quite a few forms. Belonging to someone, being considered in such a way that you are effectively property, that is what slavery generally means. There are edge cases and broader strokes of course but...
If you are intentionally kept from making any form of significant choice in your own life, it hardly makes a difference on the details does it? It seems they don't even allow you to enjoy yourself the way you would like to.
"
Echoss shakes his head when she asks why he joined the Spherebreakers.
"Well... As silly as it sounds friendship would not be far off the mark. And beyond that... the freedom.
With the Spherebreakers I've had something of the opportunity to both make friends without fear of appearance and just do what is right because I think it is right. No meticulous hours of plotting out potential outcomes, no painstaking analysis of political ramifications or economic domino falling.
To just be a person. Not a leader or omnipresent force of order. Just me.
...I admittedly have some amount of experience with this kind of thing, however. Before my current work, in another time and place, I was an adventurer for a while. It rather makes staring the end of the world down easier when it used to be what you did for a living.
"
Another line.
"Don't worry about it too much, it seems most of the others are finishing up their food, and beyond that I don't mind being an outlet for someone who needs it."

Pionobot with Maple
"Huh, yeah that makes sense. How about that."
He glances over at Chloe. Eren seems to be leaning against Maple a bit like she's leaning against him, though he also doesn't seem to have noticed he's doing it yet.
"What's Canada like, by the way? I've been to a few Earths before, but we always wound up landing in the US or Europe.
Or the smoldering wreckage of North Korea one time. That was an adventure.
...Actually I'm not even sure that'd give me a good idea of what Canada is usually like, your Earth was the one where the Godmodding War happened right? Or, was connected to. I have to imagine that that seriously changed things. I don't know of any major historical events that kick up in that timeframe normally, and uh. Being central to a multiversal war is kind of significant even without the... other things that supposedly happened.
"

Battle:
Pionobot notices that Maple's been locked onto. Somehow. He waves over to her.
"Maple! Over here!"
She asks about what happened to him.
"The lowlife hit me with a pin.
Felt my systems
crush the stupid thing when it came in. My chest still itches a bit though.
I'll be fine, I've dealt with hijacking nonsense before.
They don't generally have what's needed to take on... whatever it is I'm assembled out of.
Pionobots are absurdly high tech. Clarke's third law sorta deal, even to folks who are usually considered unreasonably advanced in their own right.
"
He pauses.
"Thank you though."
As she makes his way over, he hands over the healing stuff.
"Here, you gotta take care of yourself too."

Plaintext orders:
Maple move to C10, use her basic attack to kill Pin2 and if the first hit downs, use the other on Cappa. Retreat to D9.
Pionobot tosses Maple the Wall Chicken, hacks the console he's standing next to with the level 3 keycard (Harmonia can now act under Cypress' control!), and then triggers Calvinboard with the following effects:
+12 HP to Maple
Armorbreak3 for 3 rounds on Cappa
Ensnared3 for 3 rounds on Cappa.
Chi moves to P11 and hacks the console with the level 3 keycard

To-do List:
Once Magic Club ends, Echoss goes and talks to Droplet
Also maybe chat with Creation?
Once AI Labs ends, officially change Pionobot's name to Eren in the readout.

Battle - Cups of Chaos

HANNAH: oh wow that looks bad
HANNAH: Here, take this.

Hannah gives Cypress a Rosewater to drink (using Cypress's item action), and tosses a Panacaea to Maxim (with her own item action).

HANNAH: Hm...
HANNAH: Cypress, mind moving back a bit? Try and weaken Tama!

Cypress moves to (P13). Hannah moves to (O13).

Hannah uses Shield Slam to smash the Tamaugachi. She activates Galahad's Shield, reducing her damage and guarding! A Shield Generator floats towards Cypress and attaches to his wrist. Scavenge applies more SHP to Cypress!

Cypress casts Sapping Sigil directly on the Tama, set to Weakened. He also takes the time to throw the Reborn's corpse to (M12).

Amidst The Clouds

Hannah glares at the Praetorians from her glider, staring at the platoon in stunned silence for a moment.

HANNAH:
HANNAH: I'm sorry what
HANNAH: Why are they going after innocent people
HANNAH: You gotta be kidding me
HANNAH: What the hell are they on
HANNAH: peck I need to let people know

She adjust her communicator, somehow. She sends a broadcast to all interested parties who were part of the Spherebreakers. While she's talking, Mirror!Hannah trades her telescope for an inexplicable high-zoom camera. She aims it at the wanted poster, zooms in, and takes a snap of the poster's front. It clearly shows a Chairian Praetorian holding it, and the faces on the poster.

HANNAH: Attention, all Spherebreakers.
HANNAH: Or, those that can be bothered to listen, anyway.
HANNAH: I have a disturbing piece of news to share.
HANNAH: The Praetorians... they're going after innocent people now.
HANNAH: Yeah, you heard me right. Non-combatants. I discovered this while flying over the Endless Gardens.
HANNAH: While they have yet to make a move, they're currently after four in the Endless Gardens, as far as I know.

HANNAH: Auth, Nana, you two better listen close.
HANNAH: Because the Chairians Hemlock, Carrot, Lutea, and Beluta are all being targeted.
HANNAH: And anyone who's seen a Praetorian can probably guess their intended method of interrogation.
HANNAH: Fire.
HANNAH: I know some of you might not trust me, but this is a real thing that's happening!
HANNAH: Verdana can back me up, he's also taking a look.

HANNAH: If anyone can get these four to safety, then do it as soon as you're able.
HANNAH: Let them know of the danger, and make a plan.
HANNAH: I'll update you on any of their movements.

Hannah then resets her earpiece to its standard configuration. Then she remembers what she's supposed to be doing instead of this.

HANNAH: oh right i'm supposed to be looking out for him...
HANNAH: what a fantastic time to get sidetracked
HANNAH: really
HANNAH: ugh, what a pain
HANNAH: and honestly i don't really know which of the two is worse anymore

Decisions, decisions...

Calscape

Sophia was eager to listen to the Goleyeath. She seems happy to hear that he's happy.

SOPHIA: Bad metal things? Like... evil robots?
SOPHIA: I know that, very rarely, bots go crazy and do stuff they shouldn't back where I'm from!
SOPHIA: There's usually some tech people that keep 'em in check.
SOPHIA: So either the tech people over there are really mean, or they don't have any.

Sophia shifts on her spot on the ground.

SOPHIA: Well I mean, you had t've been lonely! Doesn't look like there's much of anyone else to talk to around here.
SOPHIA: It feels good to have a few friends hanging out with you!
SOPHIA: I might see if I can get Cal to get you a friend that can stay here.

Adria and Dorothy

Seeing as Magic Club is dead, Adria and Dorothy both get up and walk off to do other stuff. Dorothyis gonna be elaborated on sometime later.

Likewise, with the Adria in the Machining Room, she takes a quick peek out of the door to see that things were actually going pretty well for the team up north. No need for fancy discharging devices today.

She's still totally enamored by the fabricator. Though it sure is sluggish at what it does... it could really do with some speeding up sometime. Nevertheless, she can't help but get the feeling someone might want to use it themselves sometime soon.

Venia

Venia approaches the meeting point. Adria was already there, patiently waiting for her despite clearly walking off in a different direction on leaving the picnic. She's resting against the wall, though as Venia approaches and she catches wind, she stands up rather fluidly.

Despite the sternness of her expression at the moment, there's a certain level of curiosity, concern, and friendliness to Adria.

Venia asks what's up. And, true to her word from before, she cuts to the chase.

ADRIA: There's something going on, isn't there?

ADRIA: Just a few moments ago, I met Maria, the little bundle of joy. I could tell she was a wonderful kid.
ADRIA: She was being supervised by Marron and Ette at the time, having a little fun, giving Ette a gift for her birthday, lovely things like that.
ADRIA: Not two moments later, some... thing named Chaos appeared in a white van of all things.
ADRIA: Of course, I was about ready to fire a bolt into that Chaos's head for even daring to attempt such a so-called "kidnapping".
ADRIA: After some discussion with Marron and Ette, finding out who or what this Chaos was, pondering why he'd do something such as this...
ADRIA: All signs pointed to you instigating this so-called "kidnapping".
ADRIA: Mind, I don't believe you to be at all malicious in your intentions. Even I have to, begrudgingly, admit that you chose a good, if exceedingly odd, babysitter.

ADRIA: And yet... why go through the trouble at all? I'm sure Marron, Ette, and I would have loved to continue babysitting her.
ADRIA: I figure there's a lot more to this than just babysitting.
ADRIA: So... what's going on?

Adria patiently awaits a response, looking Venia straight in the eyes.

The House

Sophia gets a little surprised when Terrence pops up. She sits upright and looks at the hummingbird quizzically as she pulls out her Time Piece. She holds it tightly.

SOPHIA: Um... s-sure??
SOPHIA: I can try, I guess, but...
SOPHIA: W-what's happenin'?

She sits there, puzzled. She's not likely to budge until she's given a reason.

--2--

And a reason she was given. Sophia looks at the hummingbird, eyes wide, clearly very surprised at this turn of events

SOPHIA: W-wait, why!? Why something like that!? That's so mean!
SOPHIA: How big is it? I should be able to switch it out for something of a similar size!
SOPHIA: ...Ooooor, I can try something a little more... unexpected. Heheh...

One has to wonder what the smug little gremlin is thinking with that...

The Library

Sophia continues hugging Sythia. Though perhaps in a remarkable twist, Sophia tries to put on a brave face for her instead.

Given that she's around where the conversation was occurring, she's able to pick up on some details as to who the killer might be.

Not a Chairian, or a Tabletopian... seemed really nice, but friends started acting weird... everything being a blur afterwards... Perhaps fortunately for Sophia, she hasn't met or even seen the person who did this.

But... that description...

Fishing Hut, middle of Recollection Lake...

Special thanks to Serpent for joining me in making this!

Bio Eternity
It’s a wonderful, peaceful day at Recollection Lake. The air is crisp and cool, Electrophorus is a pile of guts and thyme matter, and there’s not a single living creature in sight. Well, except for the fish. Perfectly undisturbed.

And a perfect place for one of the most illegal chemistry labs known to chairkind, according to Hannah. While she waits for her partner in crime “the Scion” to arrive, she gets together a wide variety of glassware and apparatuses suitable for their needs, and places them on a countertop or table in the fishing hut. It’s not like anyone’s gonna be coming back here, anyway.

Among the glassware resides several practical things, including beakers, tubes, funnels, glass heat exchangers, and the like. There’s also a ton of useful tech strewn about supplied by her mother; whatever they’d need, they’ll have. There’s even some magically-inclined equipment available, just in case they’re needed.

“The Scion” pushes open the door to the fishing hut, entering a rather familiar scene. It feels like only a few hours ago that she helped craft another poison destined for use against Regalus… wait, it actually was a few hours ago. And apparently, Christmas season came and went in that time.

She smiles awkwardly at Hannah.

“THE SCION”: Um, hi!
“THE SCION”: ...How are you doing?

Hannah turns her head back as she gets some potential materials organized. She’s in her full Locust suit from their raid on Unity, mask and all. It’s impossible to make out her expression from said mask, but it’s safe to say she’s also smiling.

HANNAH: Oh hey! Thanks for stopping by.
HANNAH: I’m just getting some stuff together. Besides that I’m fine.

“The Scion” chuckles nervously.

“THE SCION”: Right! Of course, hehe.
“THE SCION”: I, well. I mean, I just was worried, since…
“THE SCION”: Look, I’m really sorry for... giving you that poison. We, we didn’t want to make you feel like you were only good for assassinations.
“THE SCION”: We just figured, since you were already trying to kill him, it’d be helpful, you know...?
“THE SCION”: But, I guess since you invited me to make another poison, you’re not mad at me for that and now you’re probably annoyed that I’m rambling about this and I should just stop talking

Hannah lowers her head ever so slightly.

HANNAH: ...It’s okay. I’m over it, and I forgive you.
HANNAH: If anything it’s Venia’s fault things ended up feeling so awful...
HANNAH: Like seriously what the hell is her deal? I’m seriously starting to think she’s using her status as leader figure to get what she wants...
HANNAH: ...Sorta like a bully, I guess? Heck, mom apologized, why is it so hard for her to?
HANNAH: ...Aaaaanyway, she won’t know about this one, so there won’t be any accidental reveals like last time.

“The Scion” clenches her teeth.

“THE SCION”: Venia is just a snobby rich girl.
“THE SCION”: She’s not as bad as the rest of those nobles that came here, but she’ll always be thinking of herself, Maria, and her girlfriend first, and the rest of us much… much further down.
“THE SCION”: She’s so afraid of getting her own reputation dirty that she won’t do anything risky, and she’ll get mad at anyone else who tries. Even if we have our own reasons for doing it.
“THE SCION”: Like toppling her and Regalus’s whole stupid empire, not just him.
“THE SCION”: They’re PARASITES, and they SUCK PEOPLE DRY to keep themselves safe. Like Acacia, and those scarlets, and everyone they can find a way to exploit. And I want to make them BLEED.
“THE SCION”: ...
“THE SCION”: ...Sorry. I… got worked up.

HANNAH: ...Woah. Ooookay.
HANNAH: Though I guess I can’t blame you for hating that stuff.
HANNAH: Because, honestly?
HANNAH: Every single noble I met had something awful about them. Hell, even stuffed the corpse of one inside a jar after Sophia beat the peck outta him!
HANNAH: And I intended to sell it on the black market for profit to boot, and burn his grunts by flooding the place with lava!
HANNAH: ...That being said I proooobably should have not done the latter, seeing as it got everyone else caught up in it. Damn Mafia...
HANNAH: ...I guess that’s what sets me apart from her, though.
HANNAH: I was never rich. I put innocent lives only slightly lower than my friends, because they’re my friends and I gotta look out for ‘em, y’know?
HANNAH: If I was back on my homeworld… I’d make sure the Mafia are driven to extinction. They’re all terrible excuses for people!
HANNAH: ...i wonder if i should also take up yew’s advice to assassinate venia too... hm...

HANNAH: ...Uh. I… guess I rambled too, hehe... whoops.

“The Scion” giggles.

“THE SCION”: Hehe, yeah.
“THE SCION”: ...So, what were you thinking in terms of the poison?

HANNAH: O-oh, right! Come over here and I’ll show you the stuff I found up there.

Hannah lays out the Tamau Toxin, Lesser Evil, Teleportatium, and Void Liquid. Eash is contained in their own stoppered vials.

HANNAH: As a reminder, we’re aiming for non-lethal, but so agonizing, debilitating, and persistent that they might as well wish for death.
HANNAH: I’m thinking we should do something with these as a basis. Then, add a little extra to really give it a nasty kick.
HANNAH: But I guess I gotta tell you what we have first.

She gestures to the first one, the Tamau Toxin, dark as the abyssal faults it hails from.

HANNAH: Tamaugachi toxin. If you read the codex, you’ll know the venom’s really slow-acting, agonizing, and sends people into pain shock within an hour. It kills several hours later. A good candidate already, right?
HANNAH: Problem is, it’s kinda basic. It can still be removed pretty easy by even our own healers, nevermind whatever kinda dumb healing factor Regalus has.

“The Scion” nods.

“THE SCION”: So, if we don’t want to kill him...
“THE SCION”: Maybe... something like this?

She yanks a vial of Tainted Ambrosia from the inventory.

“THE SCION”: Oh, um. I’ll get to this later. You can keep going!
HANNAH: Oh heck I forgot I picked that up too, thanks for reminding me!
HANNAH: Anyway, next up...

She gestures to the Lesser Evil, the indecisive antidote.

HANNAH: This is an antidote. Scanner calls it the “Lesser Evil”.
HANNAH: When ingested, it either wipes all the poison from your body... or in the case where there isn’t any, poisons you really badly.
HANNAH: Problem is, it’s an antidote and not a poison. Not a great base... but it might be useful in getting around the healing factor if we alter it a bit.

Next, the Teleportatium. It’s a wonder how it hasn’t teleported itself off the table.

HANNAH: Then there’s Teleportatium. Not exactly poisonous, but it’s able to teleport stuff some distance.
HANNAH: Might be useful to either keep the poison in him or to get it into him in the first place.

Finally, the Void Liquid. It’s definitely up there in the dark liquids leaderboards, beaten only by certain paints. It’s still in the flask Hannah took it out with.

HANNAH: And here we have what’s called Void Liquid. This stuff is... wild.
HANNAH: I accidentally let a small drop of the stuff drip out of the tank’s tap, and it fell straight through the Skylabs.
HANNAH: No I am not joking.
HANNAH: A quick scan revealed that it only does that to inorganic material, save for glass for some reason. Though it probably still sucks for organic material.
HANNAH: Why this stuff of all things was being produced in the Skylabs I have no idea in the slightest.
HANNAH: I don’t think it should be used in the poison directly. But, maybe if we can extract its properties in some way, we can still make use of it.

HANNAH: And that’s all the big new ones. Well, except for the Ambrosia.
HANNAH: I remember finding half a seeker in its tank. It was kinda funny.

“The Scion” runs her fingers down the Void Liquid’s vial’s surface and frowns.

“THE SCION”: Eroding inorganic stuff doesn’t sound too useful for our purposes…
“THE SCION”: Unless we could alter it? But if we just make it eat flesh instead, that’s probably too lethal. Even with Regalus’s healing factor.
“THE SCION”: ...What if we had it destroy and recreate his organs over and over again?
“THE SCION”: Maybe by applying its properties to structured matter and biosamples?
“THE SCION”: Or, we turn them into a virus that does that.
“THE SCION”: No, too small… maybe a bacterium?

Hannah thinks on it for a moment; seems she hadn’t really considered doing something like that.

HANNAH: ...Huh. Yeah, that could totally work.
HANNAH: Though we might want to make it a little more… resilient.
HANNAH: Those far-future guys have tech that Nedilia would freak out at, and they’re extremely advanced by many standards…
HANNAH: And, despite miss richy-rich’s absurd paranoia and risk-aversion, from her description, as well as that shot from my bow, we know he recovers from poison absurdly fast.
HANNAH: I don’t think bacterium or a virus alone would be much different. We’ll need something else on top of that, I think...

“THE SCION”: Maybe Rotted Phoenix Downs to give it and Regalus self-resurrective properties?
“THE SCION”: And Fluxblood to make it mutate so his antibodies can’t fight it off.

HANNAH: Oh yeah, that’s right! Flux is stupid hard to remove, huh?
HANNAH: And being undead doesn’t really matter to a thing that small. It might even make it better!
HANNAH: But how about we go one step further? I’ve recently been picking up some magic, both from some tomes and stalking Magic Club.
HANNAH: Perhaps we could link it to Regalus’s very being somehow. Like tying it to something he has no matter what happens to him.
HANNAH: Like a shadow, maybe?

“The Scion” scratches her chin.

“THE SCION”: That sounds Conflict-y, heh.
“THE SCION”: Maybe something with those magical crystals we have...
“THE SCION”: There’s darkness ones lying around somewhere.
“THE SCION”: So we make these creatures bound to Regalus like his shadow, so he can never remove them…
“THE SCION”: Unless he becomes a vampire. Or, wait, is that mirrors?

HANNAH: It’s mirrors; they don’t have a reflection, if those books I read ages ago were of any use. And some disintegrate in light, or at the very least hate light, but even then they still have a shadow.
HANNAH: ...Actually, don’t we have one of those in our party? Author, right?
HANNAH: I remember him having a shadow.

“THE SCION”: Alright, so… we just use some shadow crystals and a spell?
“THE SCION”: Is that how this works?

HANNAH: Yeah, pretty much. A Blackhole Regalia should suffice, along with one of the tomes mom picked up for me.

HANNAH: Hm… what else…
HANNAH: Small things eternally eating at and regenerating your body already sounds painful once it gets going. I think this might need something else to get it going much quicker.
HANNAH: Any ideas?

“THE SCION”: Like, a catalyst?
“THE SCION”: Maybe an ember core?

HANNAH: Hm… yeah, with a few changes that would do it.

Hannah looks over at the other three vials.

HANNAH: We can use the Teleportatium on its own to get the things into him if need be. Maybe even infuse the bacterium with it so that they can displace themselves back to Regalus should they be displaced physically somehow.
HANNAH: On further consideration, I actually don’t know if the Lesser Evil is gonna be all that helpful for us.
HANNAH: Unless we want to do that as a loading dose as a sort of distraction…
HANNAH: And to keep everything distracted, maybe have them also generate tiny amounts of Tama’s?
HANNAH: Or would all that be a bit too far in the lethal or overprepared direction?

“THE SCION”: Tamaugachi’s venom isn’t immediately lethal, right?
“THE SCION”: That should be fine...
“THE SCION”: We should probably avoid using the Lesser Evil so we don’t cure the Alethelyse if Destiny uses it, though.

HANNAH: Yeah, good point.

Hannah takes the vial of Lesser Evil and returns it to the inventory. It wasn’t the best pick, all things considered.

HANNAH: So let’s see… we have something that can cause immense agony, regenerates Regalus’s body as it consumes, and is impossible to remove aside from some next-level bullpeck.
HANNAH: Fast-acting, non-lethal, entropic, and probably not at all what he’s expecting-
HANNAH: Wait a sec. That’s right... he might be able to just straight-up kill them as they appear thanks to his stupid powers.
HANNAH: Maybe an Ambrosia infusion might be in order to stop that from happening… stop them from being damaged, and all.

“THE SCION”: Yeah…
“THE SCION”: I wonder if that will turn them into tiny Iti microbes.
“THE SCION”: It probably doesn’t matter.
“THE SCION”: Do you want to start the synthesis?

Hannah nods.

HANNAH: I think it’s about time. Lemme just get everything ready...

And so she does.

MATERIALS:
-1x Tama’s Toxin
-1x Teleportatium
-1x Void Liquid
-1x Tainted Ambrosia
-1x Blackhole Regalia
-?x Structured Matter
-?x Biosamples
-?x Rotted Phoenix Downs
-?x Fluxblood
-1x Ember Core

“The Scion” starts by taking out the biosamples and structured matter. She places a sample of the structured matter in a petri dish and spits into another beside it. She then sets up a microscope overlooking the second dish. With careful precision, she drips a tiny droplet of some sort of dissolving enzyme into the dish full of her spit.

A few moments pass. After they elapse, “the Scion” pours the contents of the second dish through a very fine filter, washing out the water and leaving only a tiny layer of gunk with even tinier white strands atop it. “The Scion” takes ahold of the strands with tweezers and, wrapping them in a biosample layer, places them in an injection needle, which she stabs directly into the structured matter in the first dish.

“THE SCION”: There! DNA from only the most contagious parasites living in my mouth, implanted in that structured matter.
“THE SCION”: With the biosamples, it shouldn’t take too long to mutate.
“THE SCION”: We can keep the specimens that have the qualities we’re looking for and kill the rest.

HANNAH: Great, that’s a start.
HANNAH: Let’s see...

Hannah sets up a few simple distilleries from the glassware. She carefully measures out a sample of Void Liquid, Tamau Toxin, and Ambrosia in separate flasks, placing them each under one of the apparatuses. The apparatuses themselves consist of both traditional heating and cooling methods via the use of crystals, as well as magically conductive Platinum and a bit of crystal for magic waste storage. All apparatuses are directed into a singular stoppered flask.

Hannah starts up the heaters and the coolers, and holds the crystal in hand. She also pulls out a tome from out of nowhere - likely Shelly’s doing. After flipping through a few pages, she shuts the book, now knowing what she needs to get this done.

A few moments later, vapor rises up from each of the samples, each being deadly enough to cause severe damage. Hannah holds the crystal in one hand, and reaches out to the platinum-coated heat exchangers with her other. She makes minute movements with her fingers as the vapor reaches the area.

As the vapor begins to condense down once more, a dark blue aura envelops the platinum and flies into Hannah’s outstretched fingers, and from her outstretched thumb into the crystal, also glowing that same dark blue. As time passes, it becomes increasingly obvious as to what’s been happening.

The Void Liquid goes from an inky black to a more sinister-looking, deep, dark purple. The vapor swirls as it condenses down and trickles into the flask. Once the Tamau Toxin reaches the flask, instead of being instantly disintegrated with the Void Liquid, it mixes itself into it, forming a black vortex within the solution. The Ambrosia trickles down last, and it too mixes itself with the solution, forming a purple-tinged, dark yellow vortex in the flask.

After enough time has elapsed, Hannah shuts all three of them off, leaving any undesired impurities behind.

The crystal has taken on a pitch black hue as a result of Hannah’s interference. Hannah goes to place it down on the table, where it nearly burns a hole in it. So instead she places it on a glass plate, where it fails to fall through. She takes out the flask after a few more moments, covers up any openings in the three apparatuses, stoppers the flask, and gives it a good swirl to properly mix it. This results in a muddy, dark purple mixture with all the desired properties from all three chemicals. Hannah sets this flask aside to cool off.

HANNAH: That’s the big three mixed. It should be enough, but we can always get more later if we gotta.

“The Scion” nods. While her partner has been mixing ingredients, she has been busy culling specimens who were too lethal or not infectious enough.

“THE SCION”: We should probably make sure the creation can actually survive contact with this before we inject it!

She takes the Rotted Phoenix Downs and cuts off the extraneous outer layers of soft keratin. ...Kera-thyme? Finding the rotted inner tissue, she mashes it in a bowl, then squeezes its juices into the petri dish. She also pours the Fluxblood in for good measure.

“THE SCION”: There we go. Undead entropic resurrecting microbes ahoy!

Hannah gives “the Scion'' a thumbs-up as she sets the Blackhole Regalia and Teleportatium down next to the mixture. She takes extra special care with the Teleportatium so it doesn’t accidentally teleport itself through the floor.

She takes the Blackhole Regalia in hand, and peers deep into the black hole contained within. Looking at her shadow from the light coming in from an open hole torn in the roof of the hut, she uses her other hand to “tug” on it. She keeps tugging until a wisp of shadow floats upward and into the Regalia, turning the lattice a dark grey.

Hannah takes the Teleportatium shortly after. She gently pours half of the sample into another beaker for later, and holds the remaining half firmly in her other hand.

Hannah focuses on the crystal and the flask’s contents, and starts channeling the crystal’s energy through herself, into the Teleportatium. The energy that emits from the Regalia was a very dark grey instead of the expected blackness, and the Teleportatium slowly becomes more and more desaturated, soon becoming devoid of color and grey.

She continues this process until the black hole in the middle of the Regalia was no more, leaving only the grey glass matrix. The energy from the matrix flows back into Hannah’s shadow, returning it to a clear, glassy material which Hannah cuts open and places the waste crystal inside of. For disposal purposes.

Hannah mixes in the other half of the Teleportatium sample very carefully. The two substances mix together as if they were never different in the first place and forming a pale blue solution.

HANNAH: This mix should act as a bond to the recipient’s shadow.
HANNAH: Now all that’s left is to… fit everything together.

“The Scion” slides the petri dish over to the venom mixture and pours a few careful drops of the latter into the former. The prokaryotic mold on the dish’s surface begins to hiss as wisps of smoke emit from it, but rather than eroding, it turns a similar gray to the Teleportatium Hannah was handling earlier. She takes the petri dish and pours its contents into another vial coated with nutrients, then stoppers it with a cork. Finally, she hands the vial to Hannah, along with a sliced-up ember core.

“THE SCION”: We drop pieces of the ember core into the vial when we want to activate it.
“THE SCION”: And then throw it at Regalus. Fast.
“THE SCION”: Does… does that sound like something you want to do personally?

Hannah places a hand on the table and thinks for a moment.

HANNAH: ...Hm… I’m not sure, if I’m being honest with you…
HANNAH: He already knows what I look like. And what I probably feel like within his detective vision.
HANNAH: Tossing it while at that close of a range wouldn’t exactly be ideal…
HANNAH: Though I guess splashing some more Teleportatium on me could help with that.
HANNAH: Could also use temporal shenanigans to beat him over the head with it before he can react.
HANNAH: Might even get Sophie to make me a potion launcher. Tell her a little lie that it’s for adventuring stuff…
HANNAH: ...Huh. Maybe there’s more options than I thought…
HANNAH: Y’know what, sure. Beats the peck outta sitting on my butt during all this.

HANNAH: Plus… I want a little revenge. I want to see him suffer up close and personal. I want to see his stupid mug show fear for once in his life!
HANNAH: He knows he can’t kill us off for good! He should be terrified of what we’re capable of!
HANNAH: And what better way to do that than by making him, his powers, and his technology absolutely worthless against something crippling him?

Hannah totally has a malicious grin under her mask during this rambling. A quiet giggle.

“The Scion” smiles with a cold mirth.

“THE SCION”: I don’t usually feel very good about, um, making people suffer and die…
“THE SCION”: Well, I don’t feel too bad about it either. I don’t usually feel much at all, or else I would probably be a mess all the time, haha.
“THE SCION”: But I think I’m going to enjoy this.
“THE SCION”: Make him suffer!
“THE SCION”: I’ll be there to kick him a few times while he’s down.

Hannah eagerly nods twice.

HANNAH: Awesome!
HANNAH: And… seriously, thanks for the help with this.
HANNAH: Knew I picked the right person for the job.

Hannah takes the flask and stuffs it into her personal inventory, hidden away from every angle.

HANNAH: Think I might stick around here for a bit. Clean up, wait for our target to pass by, order that launcher from Sophie, stuff like that.

“The Scion” nods and steps towards the door.

“THE SCION”: Well, see you at the assassination!
“THE SCION”: ...Which will probably be in a couple of minutes.

HANNAH: Yeah, see you there!

As “The Scion” steps out of the door, Hannah starts cleaning up the workspace; disposing of unused chemicals via the waste crystal she made. Once done, she simply waits on the island until she hears that it’s go time.

She can hardly wait.

RESULT:
(T?) Bio Eternity (x1): A flask of bacterium created by The Scion and Hannah. Nigh-impossible to remove from a host, and cripplingly painful, these bacteria keep the target alive as long as they can, eating away at and subsequently regenerating their bodies until they perish from other means. Comes with an Ember Core catalyst. Intended for Regalus.

Skylabs - Picnic and Magic Club

Calibri contemplates further. It seems most people have either settled into their magic club activities, or are beginning to leave. He considers some things... Then he just shrugs.

"Eh... Whatever. I can always pop back in if someone wants me for something. Or if something crops up. Be back in a few, as they say..."

He winks. The lights flicker off. When they return, he is gone. But where did he go? Simple...

The Old Pass - The Church of Helix

Droplet has probably been enjoying her time alone. Or perhaps she hasn't. It's hard to tell how people are feeling when those people are not me, or made from me. Either way, it is time for the silence to be interrupted.

Slow light footsteps echo through the church, the faint pattering of shoe soles on solid floor reverberating off every surface. Perhaps she looks to see who it is. Or perhaps she doesn't. If she does, though, she'd see Calibri making his way through the front door, unperturbed by the still rather dismal state of the pathway. He remains silent until he's gotten fairly close, right to the edge of the giant hole and just a bit to the east of Droplet. Then, he sits down, legs dangling into the hole slightly, eyes locking onto her.

There's faint traces of black cracks in those eyes, the patterns looking like lightning scars... Perhaps this is not entirely Calibri at work here.

CALIBRI: Hello there.

He falls silent for a moment. Then, he closes his eyes.

CALIBRI: Death is a rather strange thing, isn't it?
CALIBRI: Sometimes, it can be shrugged off without issue. The fallen simply come back to life, as if nothing ever happened.
CALIBRI: Other times, it happens once, and then that is the end of the matter. No second chances, no innate respawns... nothing. It becomes permanent.
CALIBRI: To my understanding, Daikon's death was an example of the latter for you. Mind you, I haven't been around for a while, maybe something changed...

A pause. His eyes pop open again. He has his usual faint smile on.

CALIBRI: I believe I can fix that. In a good way, mind.
CALIBRI: I've been theorizing recently. What I've come to theorize is quite interesting.
CALIBRI: Through liberal application of things like Structured Matter, Thyme Matter, and some other materials, perhaps with the aid of a few devices, I'm sure he can be brought back.
CALIBRI: The only issue is, as far as I can tell, we'll need something from the original Daikon. Given the only thing left from him that I know of is the Timepiece, I doubt you'd want in on that plan without some assurance first.
CALIBRI: Luckily, there is something I can do to assure you.

Calibri reaches inside himself, flickering for a moment, then pulls out Reisz's Cell. He holds it in his right hand, staring at it for quite a while.

CALIBRI: One of Reisz's cells. I kept this one as a trophy after beating her.
CALIBRI: Since I've died to her once and she's died to me once, I think we're about even there.
CALIBRI: At this point, I'm over that old feud. Wouldn't mind putting this cell to a better use. Truly mark the point of moving on.
CALIBRI: So... How about a deal?

Calibri chuckles, idly moving the cell to his left hand, and reaching his now-freed hand out to Droplet as an offered handshake.

CALIBRI: I'll go get some people to help me on this one.
CALIBRI: If we can bring Reisz back, we should be able to bring Daikon back too.
CALIBRI: So, we resurrect and show you a Reisz, and you hand us a Timepiece.
CALIBRI: Of course, you're welcome to come along too. Supervision, resource acquisition, doesn't matter too much what you do, as long as you're on board.
CALIBRI: It's all part of the deal. And the deal, so to speak, is in your hands. So...
CALIBRI: What will you choose?

THROUGH THE PORTAL

To the Calscape - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FvB...dit?usp=sharing

CURRENT OCCUPANTS: CHLOE, SOPHIA

Chloe

Calibri chuckles nervously at Chloe's questioning of the Void Room, but he quietly decides not to speak up further about it. Then, he gets up and stretches, before the world promptly turns into JRPG graphics for a while.

"Alright, if I remember correctly, it's..."

After a quick wander out of the room, along the wall, and up to the north a bit, Calibri (followed by Chloe) wanders through the teleporter. It proceeds to put them over near the kitchen, after which Calibri wanders southwards, leading to the two standing near a large glass window. While the one in the couch room was angled to the north, this one is angled to the east.

"Welp. There we go. It's, uhh... Not much of a room, sure, but at least there's things out the window? Heh."

Calibri promptly teleports over to a chair in the corner, then teleports back to a more middle-section part of the room. Notably, teleporting in his own mindscape does not have any flickering lights associated with it. Is that unusual? Perhaps. Either way, there's a few things out there.

Blue-tinted grass flutters in the breeze. Birdies flutter between small patches of bushes, while Sentrees watch over them. Snails crawl across the more sparse areas, one of them apparently nibbling on a blue grass leaf, while Goleyeaths stride among them, carefully avoiding the animals under their care. Despite the heavier armaments on display, it's... rather peaceful, all things considered.

Meanwhile, in the room proper, a strange machine taking up the entirety of a small corner of the room watches with one holographic eye. It seeks inspiration, yet finds none... Has it registered the new arrival's presence? Hard to be sure.

Sophia

A pause from the big creature. A slow blink. It slowly nods at Sophia.

GOLEYEATH: ...They... evil.
GOLEYEATH: Many types...
GOLEYEATH: ...
GOLEYEATH: Have... spoke... of them... enough.

Then, Sophia mentions the idea of getting a friend for the Goleyeath. It blinks, then its eyelid shifts a little. It seems happy with that idea.

GOLEYEATH: Would like.
GOLEYEATH: ...
GOLEYEATH: Thank. For... be here.
GOLEYEATH: ...

It silently reaches back somewhere, rummaging around behind its back. Then, it stops, pulling out a round metal object that doesn't quite render properly right away. At least, that's the most fitting descriptor for the visual effect. Once it does render, the object is revealed.

It appears to be a downsized, metallic, somewhat crude replica of the Goleyeath's own cyclopean eye. Going by the hollowed-out underpart, maybe one could wear it as a helmet. The large creature then reaches forward to hand the item off to Sophia, or just put it beside her if that's good enough.

GOLEYEATH: Have... gift.

Item found. Two remain.

Zone 3 - The Endless Gardens

Verdana listens in on what the Praetorians are on about, quietly recording the information. After a moment, his body glitches out as he reaches inside himself and pulls something out of his Core. And that something is... a... er... cassette tape player.

VERDANA: ...
BLACKLIGHT: ...
VERDANA: Whatever, I'll go with that.

Thankfully, the relevant cassette is already inserted. It's a recording of what the Praetorians said. That'll be one useful piece of information. The other useful piece of information comes from Hannah's broadcast. Verdana listens in for a bit, then thinks for a moment before pulling out an outdated camera and taking a picture of his own. The quality isn't the greatest, but it at least makes out the wanted posters and an incendiary device or two.

BLACKLIGHT: It is a good thing you did not use flash photography.
VERDANA: ...Reckon I could take them all on at once?
BLACKLIGHT: Firstly, no. Secondly, civilians clear first.

Verdana shrugs, then hops up and turns to leave, Blacklight re-emerging from the ground in wraith form once again. The two go back to visit Reception once again, where Verdana prepares to share his findings, beckoning Carrot over while leaning on Hemlock's desk.

VERDANA: I went exploring earlier, and I found this.

He slaps the photograph onto the desk a little more dramatically than necessary. And he also retrieves Hannah's aerial photograph to slap down beside it, to help provide more evidence than just him alone. And then he puts the cassette player on the desk too. There's a pause.

BLACKLIGHT: Remember to turn the cassette player on.
VERDANA: ...Right. I knew that.

Verdana turns the cassette player on. After a moment, it replays the things the Praetorians were saying just a moment ago. Both the fellows remain in silence until the cassette player reaches the end of its recording, then Verdana coughs while Blacklight hovers around.

VERDANA: As you can tell, ominous threats plus incendiary devices plus wanted posters with both your faces on them equals three different bad news...
VERDANA: Newses...
VERDANA: Newsii?
VERDANA: Whatever it's just really bad. So! The way I see it, there's like... three options.

BLACKLIGHT: Option one, stay here. I would not recommend that. This location is... difficult to defend.
BLACKLIGHT: Option two, since the Praetorians are also after Beluta and Lutea, we could group up there and try to hold the area.
BLACKLIGHT: Option three, and the one I'm certain most of the Spherebreakers as a group would recommend...
VERDANA: You could both come stay with us for a while.
VERDANA: The house is, like, the most secure place one can be! There's defenses everywhere.
VERDANA: Even the couch is combat-capable, and we stole a Duneyrr from the Rebellion at one point.
VERDANA: Point is, it's a cool place, plus it's probably the safest place one can go. It does mean some packing, and every Spark loyalist on the continent would go berserk if they ever saw you again, but...
VERDANA: Well, incendiary devices, they already have bad intentions.

BLACKLIGHT: Thus, the question.
BLACKLIGHT: What will you choose?

Verdana and Blacklight strike a pose for extra DRAMATIC FLAIR, even though it's not really necessary. Some chuunibyou traits never change.

The House

EN visibly winces, noticing Rosalind's agitation. Internally, she hopes she doesn't end up upsetting the kiddo too much. That would be... inconvenient.

"...Hm... A'ight, hop on th' ol' Mechonis thingy an' ah'll carry ya there."

Hopefully that works. EN thus waits a bit to see if Rosalind will hop on the Mechonis as suggested. Should Rosalind follow through, EN proceeds to pick up the Mechonis rather easily, hoists it onto her shoulders, then runs off to the Old Pass. Hopefully she's fast enough to keep things entertaining.

The Everground - Cups of Chaos

S.E.D processes what's happening. Perhaps it is time to move down. And quickly.

He drags the Harpy Corpse with him while moving to P7, then promptly throws the Harpy Corpse down the O column and lets gravity fling it to the floor. After that, he turns his gun upwards and blasts Harpy3 to smithereens.

Destiny enters the following codes:
FS6SU367M279
4BNSD3675J8D
ATPTUJPP53QH

Destiny walks to F3 and uses the Warp Ring to Warp to teleport to B4.
You can't run, you know that?
Destiny activates Phantom Blow and strikes at the Royal Guard. Destiny then calls Cypress.
Hello, I am horribly sorry to bother you but at the moment we may need your assistance. We are in the AI Labs currently trying to defeat a strange, powerful Eliti which I think is the "Cappa" from the Codex Monstrum. We already took care of most of Spark's men trying to hack your creation, as well as the majority of the consoles being used to take control. If you could help expedite the process through remote controlling Harmonia we will be able to take down the Eliti and eliminate the rest of the consoles easily.

You are already dead.

Maxim moves to L13 and gives Ancient Yggcrawler Nectar to the Tamagauchi, before attacking it.

Remiel's Ignihorn acts now.

Then, after Vanguard has acted, Nettle moves to I4 (throwing the F4 corpse to I4 with her), executes Thornclump1 with her special, then monches a Warpmelon.

At the end of the round, she takes her actual action, using Sing Unto Me to drag the Harpy Corpse at O13 to M13, Heavemarch to drag the P13 corpse to N13, then using three Forest Storms on Thornclump1 before casting Shackling Blast on the Tamagauchi, activating the Netupatch to do so.

then they point blank Electric Snipe the Hivemind.

After Nettle takes care of the Tornclump1.

In your peripheral vision, a shadowy figure appears behind the Bladedancer. Flashing through the air, their sword slashes the Chairian in the back. Caught off balance, the Bladedancer finds a katana in their leg. As the shadow takes one hand off their sword, a pale light glows from their palm as they press it against the Bladedancer.

Looking in the direction of the explosion, you see Zahlia's silhouette standing over an unconscious bladedancer. Before stepping to the side, she gives you a cheerful wave.

ACTION SUMMARY:
-Use Backstage and Back Again to teleport to I8: Range 1 of J7.
-Use a Restrained Basic Attack on Bladedancer1. This should still be enough to proc Posture Breaker, which should leave them at 1 Hp.
-Use a Lumipod on Bladedancer1
-Retreat to J8. That should put me out of LoS from both Stormbeacons.

BATTLES - AI LABS

"The Scion" moves to L11, casts Salvation (Reinvigoration) on Irongutta, and downs an Ancient Yggcrawler Nectar. At the end of her turn, the plague spreads from Cappa to Pin 1.

NPCs:
Omo sprints to F11.
Chloe moves to G14, basic attacks the Pin, and retreats to I14.
If Pin 1 was slain by Chloe, Nana moves to E12 and basic attacks Cappa. If Pin 1 is still alive, she basic attacks the Pin from that position instead.
The Blademaster moves to C13 and basic attacks Cappa.
ZONE 0

As the Reflector prime continues to very obviously tail Cindy, their mirror image plugs back in the wires in the two turrets Cindy disconnected.
ZONE 1

"The Scion" attaches their electronic binoculars to the Modified Scanner's port and attempts to scan Regalus from far-off with this technology.
ZONE 5

To deal with this Iti roadblock, the Reflector employs an unconventional strategy... becoming Nia. :niaowo:

"NIA": ...I'm back!~
"NIA": Wow, it feels good to be back in my body.
"NIA": Actually, I'm made of ice now, aren't I? That's pretty cool.
"NIA": ...OK, even I can admit that one was bad.
"NIA": I guess you could say the reception was... cold.
"NIA": :niawink:

"Nia"'s plan to escape the Iti:
- Maxim in lightweight mode tendril pulls to the uppermost inorganic. "Nia" then phase shifts with it so it can't hit Maxim afterwards.
- Sprint away.
- If the Iti get back into melee range, "Nia" flirts Maxim up the map (Maxim is extremely off-put by the flirting and so moves extremely quickly), and then Maxim switches to heavyweight mode and tendril pulls "Nia" to them.
- Continue to sprint.
CRAFTING

The Reflector takes ten plasteel ingots and hammers them into shuriken form, creating some number of... Plasteel Shurikens. Yeah, they're not very complicated or creative; just simple attack consumables that deal piercing damage, to add to our supply.

BATTLE: AI Labs
(Scroll to bottom to skip RP fluff)

Ephram scowls slightly as his concentration is broken- being caught off guard by the loud blast from the fragapple exploding, resulting in an unsuccessful spell cast.

His heart begins to beat twice as fast, the soul gem beginning to loudly resonate. Unbeknownst to Eph, a glowing white figure begins to form behind him. The floating visage seems to be feminine, with shoulder length hair, and possesses what appears to be a set of ram horns. Its eyes, the only discernible feature on its face, have misty black sclera, and glow a bright pink.

After sipping on some Meldblossom Tea to calm his nerves, and empower him slightly, he warps to R7. Ephram takes a deep breath, and tries once more, tapping into the unknown arts he now possesses to try and inflict arcane nightmares unto the enemy before him, after which he retreats to R8 to bring himself closer to the main battle against the bigger threat.

(Eph moves to R7 and consumes Meldblossom Tea. He casts Glitchform Last Dream on the Royal Magus, before retreating to R8.)

RP: Recap
Psyfox recaps Eph's history so that he can rp later.

Let's quickly recap (and rewrite) Eph's history so far so I can try and rp with some consistency, kay? This actually isn't that important, beyond to remind Ire of Eph's NPC interactions, so I'm not too sure why I wrote it all out, but whatever.

Boring Recap Stuff
Ephram, a slightly tall, white haired, mage boy, fell from the sky into the forest nearby the house. He was rescued by Ette, and taken to the house to be healed, being in a bad state physically. Unlike what the original dialogue implies, Eph doesn't actually know why he ended up on Sussui, but feels like he's meant to be there. Additionally, in-universe Eph doesn't craft the Soul Charm. He was in possession of it before coming to Sussui.

Ephram meets Chloe, who attempts to heal his eye. (His eye doesn't freak out unlike what was described in the original post.) Afterwards, Chloe explains the threat of the Sphere to Eph, something resonates within him, and he decides he wants to help.

While exploring the house a little, Ephram stumbles into the basement, where he finds the inventory (that's where it is, right?). After looking around for a while, he finds himself strongly drawn to the Operator's Suit. Eph puts it on and immediately feels his mind clear up a little. The Soul Charm in his pocket hums quietly, and two small orbs, one a wispy black mass, and the other a perfect sphere of pastel pink, gravitate towards him before beginning to orbit his head.

At some point Eph was using the Key and not whatever the Invoker's Orbs are physically (not that it matters), and also asked Marron to make an item for him that would help him in battle, but apparently didn't stick around for conversation since he was probably shy or tired or both.

NON-COMBAT: Consumable Crafting
Eph crafts some consumables, if I can get around to it.

The Cups of Mankind knew that they could not change society, so instead of reflecting upon themselves, they blamed the beasts. HEAVEN OR HELL.

Venia waits for Auth to act to toss a Wingfig at the Observer. If necessary she will also wait for Thornclump1 to die. Then, Venia will move to I4, dragging the Harpy Corpse on her tile with her, Kickstart Her Heart to get Ordo, consume a Holy Dew to stave off her Fourth Nail stacks a little bit, and burns her Ordo on Purge. She does not retreat and instead elects to hop straight down.

The Alloy will wait for Nettle to act, consumes another Holy Dew, then move to L13 and use Tearing Grip on the Tama, mostly for that sweet Bleed. Obviously the Alloy won't retreat.

Forge

"I... Honestly haven't thought that far ahead," Venia admits, frankly. "I would have hoped the freed cultists would've just... Been happy and grateful for the alleviation of the mind control and the restoration of their memories, then just tried for the 'revenge on the thing that did this to you' route? That isn't a great plan at all, though, not really something concrete. Can't really stick around the Catacombs either, like, it's literally made of dead people."

"... Do I look out of it to you? I think I'm getting out of it a bit. My mind keeps getting stuck on, well, that. And even then, for that, I don't have any plan at all either beyond 'figure out what he's got and hope we can actually do anything,' and that's terrifying me. My life is kind of spiraling out of my control here, I have no idea how to deal with Hannah at all, I can barely even help with the assassination without putting Regalus on high alert and ruining our chances... I can't stop thinking about all the ways this'll go wrong. I-"

Cue Auth's arrival cutting Venia off. "Oh, hello, was just, uh, having a talk with Nia, not sure how much you heard," Venia says. "So, listen-we found this after defeating Yulania, and I think that this is not only a good alternative to restoring Acacia, but also a way for us to restore the Sapient items we've collected-which is good as we don't have any blood for any of them. I just need your help with the more delicate materials, I'm not all that great with magical healing methods, lack of personal experience and all that."

"You can see the original setup as envisioned by Yulania here," Venia says pointing to the Encyclopedia of Madness. "I'm altering it to get rid of the obvious 'uh-oh' factors, namely no Fluxblood and no Rosetainted Metal. I figure your ritual components-the stuff we used for Ette and Maple's eye too-might be an excellent substitution for the Fluxblood, but I want your opinion on that. There's also a few things we're flat-out missing; there's something called 'Livingwood' in the mix and while I think Structured Matter might be what we need in the fifth tank, I have no way of telling. Any advice?"

Magic Club is DEAD

Venia realizes that Magic Club isn't continuing properly and realizes that dealing with Adria is probably in order. Venia walks a bit off to the side and gestures to Adria. "OK, what's up?"

House

"Angry... Green person? Uh."

Venia wonders, briefly, if this is like Awful Hospital and no-one's bothered to point it out to her.

"You mean, like, my text color? It was, uh, blue, but then it looked too much like Chloe's on the text system we use so I changed it to green... Wait, not important. Uh. I'm sorry, we need to back up a bit. Who are you? I'm Venia Praefortis-have we met sometime before? And who's, uh, who's 'him?'"

Venia is interrupted from these proceedings by Chaos ramming a phone into her ear. "Hey what the-"

Mariaaaaaah

-tbd-

The Royal Pains In The gorilla

Regalus getting scanned will probably be handled by Ire, so I'll just say that's that.

Cindy continues to be seemingly oblivious to the mirror Reflector following her. Then, abruptly, she stops, and turns around, talking to the mirrored reflector dead-on.

"...Oh, yes, were those turrets laying around being used for something?" she asks. "I had shut them down given that they didn't seem to serve any obvious purpose-I was afraid you hadn't prepared for our arrival and they would've shot me had I passed by."

Rosalind, meanwhile, seems positively annoyed by the current turn of events, right until EN lifts the entire Mechonis and takes her running. "Wheeeeeeeeee!"

Rebecca continues to be an anxious socially-awkward wallflower. "C-can I, c-can I leave now, please?"

My mind wants to start but it's also getting distracted with Ruina Spoilers. Get to work, hands!

Auth can see the unasked question flash across Nana's face - she totally wants to ask how rich Auth is. He elects not to dig at it either... Venia isn't the only person with access to effectively unlimited funds. Perhaps there's a better time for that, though! He chuckles at what Nana imagines "life" to taste like...

AUTH: Ehehe. No, not like that at all. Like I said, it's kind of hard to put into words.
AUTH: It's... um... kind of like... I'd like to say it's kind of like some kind of energy to it? It's a sensation, to feel.
AUTH: I say "taste", it's a lot more than just that. It really is a feeling, more than a taste.

Auth watches Nana's confusion become obvious and relevant. Entirely understandable, even.

AUTH: I'll save you from an explanation of how this comes to be, but yes! You would be doing it wrong because it requires very specific materials for this... and it requires quite a lot of understanding and background.
AUTH: Give me a minute, I'll send an order for what I'll need to pull it off. We'll need a full-body mirror ideally, while I get these materials in, but bare minimum one that's half-height.

Auth puts up an order to Chloe's delivery service, since that's the only place he knows where to get things he might need.

AUTH: I require Prisoner's Honey, and a glass cutter, if possible. Apologies for the inconvenience.

As for how Nana and Auth would get there together...? Auth has arms, and does not require them to fly. He'll carry Nana in his arms.

I've forgotten what I was meant to do when I got there. Let's assume they've subtly got an eye on Rebecca as they wait for further instructions.

Auth nods, gently, as Scythia recounts her experience with the No Good Bad Man, the person who killed her friends. Auth frowns.

AUTH: So a person that wasn't a Chairian, and wasn't a tabletopian. They seemed nice, but then strange things started happening.
AUTH: I'm sorry to continue to pry, but I think I can start tracking down the person who did it even with this. If you can remember...
AUTH: Do you recall any distinctive features of the bad man? I understand if you don't remember anything - if you can't, it's okay. I think our group can... identify who it was.

Auth then has another thought.

AUTH: Scythia, would you like to come back to our base? I think it would be safer there. I think the rebellion is going to leave us alone now - and even if they don't, we'll make sure that you're safe. I'm worried about what might happen to you out here by yourself.

What else needed to happen...?

Auth, having received the note by Venia, flies quickly to the Forge.

AUTH: Hello? I was informed that I should be here now. How can I help?

Auth hasn't seen this room before, so it might be worthwhile to bring him up to speed.

Oops! Here's that thing I definitely didn't completely forget!

Auth's eye twitches faintly. He's received the broadcast from Hannah quite clearly, and he is uncharacteristically visibly irritated by it.

AUTH: Well, then. We shall need to have some polite words with these praetorians about the appropriate conduct with non-combatants.
AUTH: I would posit that attempted execution is not the correct way.

Auth looks to Nana, to see how she's doing.

AUTH: I had been meaning to see Lutea in the near future anyway. I think we should bring her back to base - it's probably safer for her to be here than where she is now.
AUTH: Considering that she's wanted by Praetorians and all. Do you think she'll come?

Auth starts preparing to get to Lutea ASAP, ideally leaving now for the Gardens if he can.

With the help of Tazz's post, I now remember what I needed to do in battle almost!

Auth tosses one of the Wingfigs directly at the hanging Observer, to let Venia finish it off. Then, Auth moves to I7 (as far as he can go) and casts Quick-Purify on Nettle. Next turn, I'll probably refresh my Guardian if I can.

The Ignihorn acts before Nettle, moving to I6 and then H7 while Dragging the downed Harpy before performing a restrained Basic Attack on the Thornclump.

After Nettle acts, Remiel moves to H11 and basic-attacks the Tama.

<ROUND 284>

As a quick note, I'll officially be dispersing Magic Club at Round 286, unless there's continued interest in it. Cool? Cool.

Echoss and Pionobot go about their day. To begin though, Terrence informs Nana that he already has someone watching the chapel.

NANA: O-Oh, you do?
NANA: It's nice to know the chapel is in good hands, then! Thanks!

Elsewhere, at the picnic with Aoki, Echoss notes that slavery comes in many a form. If she is belongs to someone, even if she has her own illusions of freedom... is she really free?

AOKI: I suppose you have a point. I have however, considered this myself as well.
AOKI: Perhaps I should merely be thankful that I do have any choices in the matter?
AOKI: The chains could be far tighter, yet they are not. Should I be thankful for this? Or should I despair that there are chains in the first place?
AOKI: I... do not know. This is the life I have known.

Echoss then answers Aoki's question about why he joined the Spherebreakers. Part of it is for companionship, surely. But, with the Spherebreakers, he's had the chance to make friends without fear of appearance, or title, or political fallout. He can choose himself. To be a person.

AOKI: ...The Spherebreakers have given you that much?
AOKI: The freedom to interact.
AOKI: The freedom to speak.
AOKI: The freedom to exist.
AOKI: How could... such ruffians provide that much?

AOKI: Or perhaps, that isn't the right term. Forgive me.
AOKI: Where I am from, I have... never done something quite as quaint as eat upon a blanket.
AOKI: But perhaps this sort of "rough" lifestyle... is conductive to a free, fulfilling life?

She glances longingly towards the ceiling, through the glass canopy, and into the cloudy skies.

AOKI: I would like to make a horribly selfish request.
AOKI: May I... experience this freedom with you?

AOKI: ...I hesitate when I think about what the fallout of this action may be.
AOKI: Would this paint a target on my head, or the heads of my fans?
AOKI: Would I even be of any help? Would I be throwing my old life away for nothing?
AOKI: But... would you allow me to reach out, and seize this freedom?

...With this request, an item appears in the Chaos Shop! Take a look? Just across the blanket meanwhile, Pionobot asks Chloe about Canada. She places a finger to her chin while pondering the subject.

CHLOE: Hmm...
CHLOE: People do make out Canada to be this like, holy, polite place with blue skies, clear water, and lush nature... but really, I think it's the same as most other first-world countries.
CHLOE: That's not to say that like, there's no differences. There's the usual differences in political climate and such, but I don't think you'd want to hear about that.

CHLOE: But... ultimately, Canada is just another place, right?
CHLOE: Another place where us humans, both wonderful and horrid, can live.
CHLOE: Some of us do all we can for the world, and aspire to help others.
CHLOE: Some of us would rather do whatever it takes to see themselves rise to the top.
CHLOE: But to you... we're probably just another group of humans.
CHLOE: Humans with maple syrup.

MAPLE: Maple syrup?
MAPLE: I've been told that my sap is actually incredibly sweet.
MAPLE: Am I full of this "maple syrup"?

CHLOE: M-Maybe? W-Wait, how do you know that y-your blood is-

Maple giggles to herself as Chloe experiences a full-body shudder. Would the maple syrup she's poured on her pancakes many times before be illegal on Sussui? Is she a vampire to the Chairians? Such questions are better left unanswered. Or not. They're kinda interesting.

Hannah sends a broadcast out to the Spherebreakers! Somehow, she's immediately contacted back by... Omorika. Punctual.

OMORIKA: Salutations, miss Wolfie.
OMORIKA: If what you said is true, evacuation efforts should be made right away.
OMORIKA: However... we should be cautious about how we do it.
OMORIKA: Make it obvious that they're leaving the Gardens, and the Praetorians may move out to strike. They may not be at full power, but the risk of civilian casualties is still high.
OMORIKA: But, we cannot be too cautious. The Praetorians may be moving out at any point, so there should also be some element of haste.

OMORIKA: From what I have observed and recorded from your exploits at the Rebel base, you tend to be rather good under pressure.
OMORIKA: Care to share with us any ideas, Miss Wolfie?
OMORIKA: I myself am thinking we could utilize our portal system. Though, sending troops to the locations of each our clients could result in them being seen.

Over at the Library meanwhile, Sophia continues to hug Sythia. Sythia continues to hug back. They are now an intertwined ball of hugs. This is nice. While that happens, Hannah commits more war crimes™ by creating the Bio Eternity with the Scion! The Tamaugachi Toxin, Tainted Ambrosia, some Teleportatium, a unit of Void Liquid, a Blackhole Regalia, 2 Structured Matter, 5 Biosamples, 2 Rotted Phoenix Downs, 10 (0) Fluxblood, and an Ember Core are combined in the process. What are you planning to do to this poor, completely innocent old man?

Y'know what you should do, though? Shove it into a bomb. That'd be awesome. Also horrifying.

Calibri proposes something to Droplet. She turns her head up towards him. Instead of sympathy, thankfulness, or hope, she uh...

DROPLET: gorilla, what the gorilla?
DROPLET: Do you really think you can defy death itself?
DROPLET: Iti are created directly through Ware's influence, or through other forms of Iti! Pretty sure you have literally no hope of bringing back someone who's been dead for FOUR DAYS.
DROPLET: You can't bring him back through the application of duct tape, thyme matter, and hope. Idiot.
DROPLET: Frankly, I'm gorillaing pissed that you're doing this!
DROPLET: Trying to give me hope... go gorilla yourself.

...Uh. That didn't go as planned, did it? Though, when he produces Reisz's cell... she's interested.

DROPLET: ...Oh, it's part of that thing. Reisz.
DROPLET: Look, if you want to put it to better use, there's no need for some stupid deal.
DROPLET: Hand it to me.
DROPLET: You don't need the timepiece. I won't let you have it.

The terms of the deal have changed! Or uh, have they? This is probably something else entirely. Point is, she mad yo. Elsewhere, over one dimension, Calibri leads Chloe over to the serenity of the viewing room. Chloe drinks in the atmosphere for a moment.

CHLOE: This is nice. This is very nice.
CHLOE: Though... I thought you said I could like, see the world through your eyes? Where's that thing?
CHLOE: And... what's this? It's a bit creepy, can't lie...

Chloe walks up to the Digivice in the corner of the room. She waves "hello" to the eyeball that's present. Maybe it's friendly. Maybe it'll generate a Chibi Chloe using Chloe's image. Who knows? The world is full of mystery.

Finally, over in the Endless Gardens, Verdana and Blacklight go to visit Carrot and Hemlock. The receptionist of the Gardens gives a quick, courteous wave to the duo.

HEMLOCK: Greetings, Spherebreakers.
HEMLOCK: What brings you here today?

This is soon answered by Verdana plopping a photograph on the desk, accompanied with a cassette player. Hemlock gives him a look as the tape player begins to play.

HEMLOCK: ...Um, not to interrupt this broadcast, but you are aware that we're being watched, correct?
HEMLOCK: There's a sniper situated at Scale Yggdrasil. While we're likely not in bullet range, they can probably see you.
HEMLOCK: We should not be fraternizing at the moment. They're not aware of our affiliation.
HEMLOCK: But... leave the tape player here. Slowly walk away. Pretend that you didn't do anything weird.
HEMLOCK: Thank you.

The two of them walk off, as per Hemlock's request. The duo of Carrot and Hemlock listen to the tape. Their expressions soon transition to "oh god". Carrot decides to trail the duo in a completely inconspicuous fashion.

CARROT: First off, I am not drunk enough for this gorilla.
CARROT: Second of all, got any plans to get us out of here?
CARROT: Piles of ash tend to be unable to get hammered.

...That's, uh, a motivation. Still, how might you get them out of there? Especially with the single Praetorian approaching. Looks like the sniper detected you, and thought that you were being hella sus. Maybe act quickly. Carrot does appreciate the dramatic pose, though. She has good taste.

Destiny inputs a variety of codes into the game! She obtains 300 Primogems. Neat!

The Reflector and the Scion do a variety of things. First, the Reflector wanders about the house, plugging wires back into turrets and generally making them functional one again. Should help. Elsewhere, the Scion goes to scan Regalus, making use of the Modified Scanner to do so. Does... does he notice? One can hope he didn't.

>Codex Updated!

Looks like it worked though. Then, over in Zone 5, the Reflector becomes Nia! Again! Nia's happy to be back, and if Nia knew Nia were back, Nia would be happy too. She makes a pun that probably wouldn't actually make Nia wince, since Nia enjoys Nia's sense of humor. Nia Nia Ni! But anyway, along with Maxim, this "Nia" begins their plan! Making use of a combo of Phase Shifts, flirting, and generally just running, they manage to blitz through the squadron of Iti!

They then come across the "death puzzle" that was mentioned earlier by the engineer. There's a sign that helpfully explains the rules... maybe give them a read? They'll need to find a way to cross without dying horribly. Something also tells them that those who attempt to cheat will be obliterated. Don't die!

To finish, the Reflector spends some time smithing some consumables. 10 Plasteel Ingots are used to make 5 Plasteel Shuriken. Sharp and deadly. Though, why are we always making shuriken? Why not make like... throwing darts? Those are cool, right? Right?

Eph recaps their roleplay! Thanks for that, BTW. It's been awhile. :chloehappy:

Venia does a variety of things. First, down in the forge with Nia, she explains her plans for becoming the Queen of the Rose in a bit of detail. Or uh, notes her lack of plans. Really, she had hoped that those she freed from the Rose's influence would take up arms against the Rose. Nia shakes her head.

NIA: I mean... I bet none of those guys had ever held a weapon in their life before joining the Rose.
NIA: Not everyone is ready for combat n' junk, y'know?
NIA: Like, I'm just lucky that I had a robot body n' fencing experience! Chloe's lucky she had experience with blades, too!
NIA: Those guys... probably aren't as lucky? I dunno.
NIA: Maybe Sussui like, forcibly conscripts everyone or something. They do be fightin'.

Venia, venting a little, asks if she sounds out of it. There's just so much going on, and it's all spiraling out of control. Kinda like when I had to handle three projects at the same time a week ago. In response, Nia takes Venia's hands, holding them close.

NIA: You sound like you need a break.
NIA: It's not like you're the only one in charge here, you know.
NIA: Just trust in us! Don't feel like you need to do this all alone.
NIA: I think we've all proven ourselves time and time again, so you can rest eas-

Then, Auth strolls in. She waves to him as he comes in.

NIA: Oh, hiya Auth!
NIA: Please help Venia! She needs a nice, long nap, and a few pats on the head.
NIA: Well... I can provide one of those things!

Nia jumps up a short distance, places a block of snow beneath herself, and soon matches Venia's height. She reaches over towards Venia's head, and gives her multiple pats as Auth watches. Pat pat pat pat. Finally, back in the house, Venia continues talking to the Grey Iti.

???: The Venia Praefortis? no no I don't remember you
???: I would remember your voice. Its insidious verdant hues slipping against my brain like sandpaper
???: I'm looking for the Spherebreakers not the Venia Praefortis
???: But I will tell you these things if you promise to tell them to the Spherebreakers for me
???: ...
???: Miss Droplet called me Star.
STAR: ...
STAR: He appears in my visions where the purple haze has faded
STAR: He is the man in the high castle
STAR: The hanged man
STAR: The merchant in grey
STAR: The one they call IRECREEPER.

Were it storming right now, a bolt of lightning would strike as the name "irecreeper" was uttered. But it is not. Chaos, still there, drops a cinderblock on the floor to try and give the uttering of the name more weight. It almost works. Almost.

Auth does a variety of things. First, he opts to not tell Nana that he probably has infinite funds, and just explains what "life" tastes like, sort of. It's more of a feeling than a taste.

NANA: So... it's a bit like w-what the Serenea flower does?
NANA: It can produce a euphoric, calming sensation when brewed into tea... so I guess it's also more of a feeling than a simple taste?
NANA: Though, I guess the cider is different... but that's what I think it feels like, anyway. Or my best analogy.

Auth then also happily explains how one can open a mirror. But first, he'll need tools to do that. He DM's Chloe, who then DM's Echoss to go and grab some Prisoner's Honey. He's (somehow) there to take Auth's order, even though he's currently trying to deal with Rebecca. (:crab: time is dead :crab:) "Very well, that should be easy enough to retrieve."

Echoss heads off to wherever the Collective portal is, then returns soon after with 20 vials Prisoner's Honey, a glass cutter, and a small black box. "Here you are, Prisoner's Honey, a glass cutter, and as a bonus a few crystallized memories of light considering you seem to be doing something related to the Parabola. The memories of light are held in this box as, well... Looking at them too closely pulls them out of the crystal. Considering what they are and how hard it is to extract them into an easily transferable form, it's preferable to avoid that." Looting the box, 4 Crystallized Memories of Light are obtained! Shiny.

NANA: T-That... looks like an ordinary glass cutter.
NANA: Are y-you sure that'll work? And... what's with the honey?
NANA: ...It looks good.

Nana clearly underestimates London's gorillagorillaery. Elsewhere, the Author asks Sythia for more specifics on the figure.

SYTHIA: (...Regal. Fancy.)

He then asks if she'd like to head back to base. Silently, she nods her head. Safety is safety, and after watching her friends get murdered, a soft bed and somewhere where she won't get jumped is probably all she can ask for. Ever so cautiously, she stands up. Though she's physically rather tall, her stance conveys otherwise. Timidly, her hands crossed, she stands behind the Author. Lead the way, then?

Finally, Auth informs Nana of the situation that's unfolding. Her sister is likely going to get ganked by Praetorians. They should move out as fast as they can to protect her. She nods her head, her bladed arm visibly growing unstable.

NANA: T-They... w-why would they t-target her? S-She'd never d-do anything bad!
NANA: L-Let's go! R-Right now! We need t-to warn her, o-or get her out of there!

Taking her back to the house sounds good- a notion that Nana agrees with. Though, how are you going to house all of the refuges you're about to get? Maybe it's time to build up a proper town. Or just install more housing. Who knows?

<THE CUPS OF CHAOS, ROUND 6>
The Tamaugachi is holding its ground for once! Take this chance to beat it down! Just... beware what it might do to you if you overcommit. Especially since many of your Fourth Nail stacks are at very, very high levels. I hope you have a plan. Next round, it'll likely be heading further down, so maybe some of you might want to follow it down there? Besides Tama though, be sure to eliminate the Harpies that have snagged their targets, and maybe do something about the Bastion!

<AI LABS, ROUND 5>
The Chairian forces have pulled out! The only troops of theirs that remain are the turrets and a single Gravrobe. This means that you're free to focus down Cappa, who has called in a substantial amount of reinforcements! Break them apart as fast as you can, and be wary of Cappa's newly obtained Double Action!

Continued reminder that there are beetles monitoring all of Zone 0
Additionally, are beetles set up in areas around Zone 1, outside of Regalus' sightlines but close enough that should he relocate he can be tracked.

NPC ASSIGNMENTS
Mari is set to research Prayer Service
Cypress item research is set to Rebellion Split
Not!Echoss slides on up to Nia's stand in the NPC Assignments tab, and hands her 80 credits to upgrade the Ia Ia Ia and the Temmie Jail Meal

Dealing with the Regalus clan:
To Sophia, who was supposed to get this last round:
"Under orders from Regalus. The 'emperor' who showed up this morning, supposedly to retrieve Maria."
Terrence gestures, and a small translucent orb appears in front of him for a few seconds, demonstrating its approximate size.
"Replacing it with something similar is probably more useful at the moment, I doubt replacing it with something more malicious would help at the moment, and there will be opportunities for... 'preventative measures' later. Right now avoiding unwanted demolitions is the goal."

Dealing with Rebecca:
"If you come with us. This should only take a minute or so, and likewise won't hurt at all."
Echoss extends a hand, nodding towards the door at the back porch.

Magic Club:
Aoki muses on her chains.
"Neither, or perhaps both. It is good to be grateful for what you have, but it is also important to want better."
Echoss looks around as Aoki asks if the Spherebreakers have really helped, then nods.
"One often has to give up one freedom to attain another that you want. Is living like rough and sometimes difficult? Is it something many people would look down on? Is it imperfect? Yes on all counts. But as much as it's all that... it still holds many opportunities that a more structured life does not."

And then Aoki asks to join the Spherebreakers. Echoss blinks, apparently taken aback.
"...Well now, I was not expecting for this to be the endpoint of the conversation, but yes. It would be an honor to fight alongside you, Miss Aoki.
However you wish to excercise this freedom, I and in all likelihood the others as well will do our best to help you how we can.
"
Echoss gestures back at the food.
"First of all, since you won't be going back to your "handlers", would you care for something more palatable? I recommend not starting with anything too sugary right off the bat as going from an idol's near-starvation diet right to sweets can be bad for you, but pick what you like regardless."
Assuming Aoki chooses more (or even if she doesn't) Echoss continues.
"Regardless of whether you wish to join as a combatant member of the Spherebreakers or simply claim shelter with us, you should probably come back to the house with me once I get all of this packed away to take back. To get you settled in to the team if nothing else.
As for your worries...
I won't lie. You are painting a target on your head. Spark seems to have taken our presence and goal... rather personally. Issues with his rampant pyro and megalomania aside, being a combatant with the Spherebreakers is... well, we are effectively an adventuring party. We get put in harm's way a lot by virtue of what we've chosen to do.
Those who follow you... I believe in this case it is a moot point. It would take Spark time to mobilize against such a sizeable portion of the LOCAA'n population. Time he does not have, as one way or another this will be over within the next two days and either the Spherebreakers will be able to prevent him from any further mass extermination attempts or... it won't be needed.
I believe you are quite capable of assisting, if that is what you wish to do. Simply having extra hands has turned out to be useful prior, and from what I've heard you made yourself a priority target rather quickly in your last fight. I doubt it would be too hard to get you to where you can stand on even footing with the rest of us.
And finally... for what it's worth you have options from here, however this entire event with the Sphere falls out. Provided we all survive, of course. There are other places you could go to at absolute worst, and I doubt it would be hard to establish the personal connections to keep yourself secure here in your homeland in the first place. By virtue of being with the Spherebreakers you have potential connections with two High Chair members, three should we successfully revive Miss Aneura.
"
He pauses.
"Apologies, that was probably a bit much to drop on you all at once. I am... rather accustomed to speaking at length.
Regardless, as I'm not taking a combatant role at the moment, I am available to answer questions and help with what you need for the foreseeable future.
"

On the other side of the picnic...
"You know what, that's fair.
I should still try and visit at some point though. All those little things add up to make a pretty different feeling for different places, you know? Even if it's hard to describe how with words.
"
Yum maple syrup.
Eren blinks and turns to look at Maple. You can almost feel the gears turning behind his eyes.
"...Okay hold on a sec. Hold up.
what
I mean, you guys don't have sap only as your blood I know that but like... what have you been doing that other people know what your body fluids taste like? The only thing I can think of is like, kissing but I don't think Chairians do that?
"
He glances at Chloe.
""Is there anything else I'm not thinking of?""

Echoss visits a singer in grey:
Echoss walks into the Church of Helix.
"Ah, hello? Miss Drople-"
...right about when Droplet goes off at Calibri for making his offer.
"...Is everything alright?"

Battle:
Pionobot moves to H10 and has a cup of Meldblossom Tea with Cappa (use Meldblossom Tea on Cappa), and then pauses his move until after Woodthorne and Maple have gone.
And then?
ALL OUT ATTACK (Pionobot basic attacks Cappa with his Physical Form bonuses. And then swaps to Dark Element)
ROLEPLAY PIECE
"I'm fine, I promise.
We can check it out later.
We must finish the job.
We need to crush this PE..."
Pionobot blinks and shakes his head. Faint purple smoke wafts from his shoulders and head for a second.
"I. Yeah, I feel a bit weird. Now's not the time though we gotta finish off Cappa."

To-do List:
Also maybe chat with Creation?
Once AI Labs ends, officially change Pionobot's name to Eren in the readout. And also work on a little respeccing. Not major, but some.
Start on crafting goals in the "questboard". Notably, I need to make lots of sleeping bags so the NPCs we seem to suddenly be acquiring en masse need to sleep somehow/where.

Destiny acts Maple acts and glares at the Gravity Robe.
You look a bit... alone out here with us Spherebreakers.
If you could be so nice as to... move this Beacon out of the way? I'd like to have a go at this beast, and maybe we'll let you off afterwards.
If not... well I will have to stab you, and that'll be a lot of pain and a trip back to the medics.

If the Gravity Robe complies, she moves to G8 and observes Cappa before hookshotting on to him, landing at I10.
If the Gravity Robe refuses, Destiny walks to G5.
Wrong choice, love.

Destiny then stabs the Gravity Robe and chucks a Cinderfruit for good measure (assuming they are not immediately downed by a crit). She retreats to G7 and observes Cappa.

---------------------------------

In the meantime, Crya takes 5 Uniform Logs. She uses her magical ice powers to form a giant axe. She lowers the axe then chops the wood to bits, continually hacking away for a good 30 seconds, leaving only small Splinters. She pockets these Splinters for later use.

BATTLES - AI LABS

NPC orders / turn order:
Nana, moving first, moves to D12 to get line of sight on Maple and uses both her bonus action and action to throw Empowering darts at Maple and Woodthorne.
Pionobot does his tea thing.
Chloe moves to G11, recasts Sword Beam, and basic attacks Cappa.
Harmonia moves to D12, uses their Bonus Action to give Maple an orbitar, uses Overload Connection on Cappa, and basic attacks Cappa.
Destiny takes her turn.
Maple moves to F12 and uses her special (Slashing damage), centered on Cappa.
Pionobot does his attack thing.
The Blademaster sprints to I11 to ZoC Cappa.
<woodthorne uses special here>
After the Ohmnics are downed by Woodthorne, the Chemist moves to N13, uses a bonus action to pick up the Morph's corpse, moves back to M12, and dumps it on M11. They use their action to sprint to K11 to apply ZoC on Cappa.
Chi peeks around the corner to O12 and shoots Cappa.
Zahlia acts.
Irongutta throws Omo.
Omo waits for Ephram to round the corner and casts Null Somnum on him.
Ephram does the beeg damage.

Moving later in the turn (after Ephram): "the Scion" moves to L8 and uses the Violence Virophage as a bonus action to copy Cappa's debuffs to herself, giving him her Blind status with her trait. She uses another bonus action to activate the shifting feature of her trait and shift all of her Uninspired to Weakened. She then finishes her move at L7 and casts Shackling Blast on Cappa, benefiting from Manafueled 2, buff levels from Plague / Ensnared / Blind / Weakened / Armorbreak / Teneblight / Bleed (and possibly more, who knows), and the destruction of the corpses of the Saint, GravRobe 2, Bladedancer 2, Splintershot 2, Ohmnic 2, Morph 2 (regenerating a lot of MP and HP), and a lot of Teneblight on Cappa. She retreats to K8.
ZONE 0

The Reflector smiles at Cindy. Their face morphs into Superintendent Chalmers's.

"CHALMERS": Of course.
ZONE 5

"Nia" steals a puzzle solution from Discord.

The Falling Cup
Daskter and the Vanguard are just horribly out of positions.
First, Vanguard sprints to (R9) to drop to (R20).
Riposte then calls the Ignihorn "a burden to its own team, sitting around and just doing nothing last round."

Daskter drops on after the Vanguard from (R9) to (R19).
