Alright... I would burn HP for unravel, but I'm a little worried about the Gossamother walking up and beating the tar out of Thina... so... let's not. ... Burn *too* much...
But I finally get to describe what unravel is actually doing. Spend 4 HP on this, mainly so I have 50 DNA for next turn. Balancing Keiko on her back or... something, Thina raises a paw, bits of machinery clicking and whirring around it. With a flick, she launches a series of tiny darts from guns by her wrist, all aimed at SSpider1 (or SSpider2, if 1 is dead). With a series of hissing sounds, the darts (hopefully anyway) find their mark, injecting the spider with a magitech venom, breaking apart its genetics and siphoning it for use elsewhere. Such as into Thina's HP, as nobody else around is injured. -------------------- Played.

<ROUND ONE-HUNDRED SIXTY-THREE>
Echoss does a wide variety of things. By the way there's technically no cap to overworld actions, but doing too many at a time will likely cause my head to explode, or you may randomly stop doing actions. Anyway, Echoss begins by asking Omo for some information on the Fae she's working on. OMORIKA: If you mean "scan data", I do not believe I can provide anything of the sort. OMORIKA: At least, not yet. OMORIKA: The literary device referred to as "foreshadowing". How fun. OMORIKA: But, I will note they're rather small. Not as small as you'd think, but say... the size of my hand? She raises her hand up. It's... normal sized? What do I describe here? She's quick to lower it. OMORIKA: In addition, they do tend to create a large flux of power when they teleport, which may be ideal for locating them. OMORIKA: Search for the pulses, and perhaps we could track them more efficiently. At the same time, Echoss commissions Chloe for another harvesting trip- well, it's more of a monster hunting trip, as he wants Samples! Chloe sighs, and preps for combat. When she returns, she dumps a small pile of 16 Samples off, as well as a Jotun Arm. She then takes a moment to crash on the couch, where Taeda's quick to tend to her various bumps and bruises. CHLOE: Y-You're seriously lucky that I don't charge for these trips, Echoss! She takes a moment to laugh quietly. CHLOE: So anyway, I was hunting Seekers and slowly grinding up those samples, when boom- stealth Jotun! CHLOE: It wasn't armed, so it resorted to simply punching and kicking me, but it still stung like hell! CHLOE: ...Anyway, I killed it. Stabbed its brain- or whatever's in the head of an Iti- a few dozen times, and it died. CHLOE: I could only lug one arm back. The rest was simply too heavy... Echoss also takes the time to loot the remainder of the Dark Carnival's walls, looting 10 Titanium Ingots. He also opts to keep working on the new room in the House, expending 3 Uniform Logs to go and deliver blunt force battering ram trauma to the deceased Netwyrm neck. This messily severs it... and in what's actually probably a plot twist, nothing resides within the neck. Amazing! This doesn't actually clear the neck from the room, though. At least the rest of the room is easily cleaned, yielding 48 Cobblestone. Elsewhere, Pionobot divulges what he knows to Mari... which isn't much. Also, that he got demolished by a bunch of Seekers. MARI: ...Really? You don't know why you're here? MARI: Classic amnesia trope, I get it. Pretty sure Chloe had that last game, or something... MARI: Kinda freakin' weird, though. MARI: Also, did you really lose to gorillaing SEEKERS of all things? MARI: They're like, stupidly puntable! I could even probably kill one by punching it to death if I had to! MARI: No offense- or maybe, take offense- that's pathetic. MARI: In fact, I'm surprised that so many people seem to get threatened by them... Letsid opts to sleep on the spot. This is actually a pretty good idea, as the quick nap restores (8) HP. It's not a quick way to heal, but it'd fully heal you eventually. If you wish to heal up quicker, maybe try... say, cooking a meal for yourself with some raw ingredients? You might even get some consumable items out of the deal as well! Nidra stabs an eyeball with a splinter. It gets taunted, and also dies, fading from existence. Ette seems confused. ETTE: (Eh? Why'd you poke the wall?) The sleepy psychic then opts to help Ette with the crank, telling the puppet to step back. She slips behind Nidra, watching over her shoulder as she cranks the gate with incredible speed with her psychic power. The gate emits a loud click as it locks into position at the top. Ette applauds, her pillowy hands not quite making a clapping sound, but it's close enough. ETTE: (Wow! That was really quick!) ETTE: (Thank you for the help, miss Nidra!) ETTE: (I wonder how fast you could do it while sleeping?) ETTE: (...How does that sleepy stuff work, anyway? Mystery!) Ette's potentially left to wonder that by herself as she skips off to contemplate life or something. Who really knows what's going on in that head of hers? Wilson answers some of Ette's questions. She nods quietly to most of what he says, but seems interested in just HOW the fox is talking. ETTE: (So... if you're not talking normally or something, what are you doin?) ETTE: (Is it like, magical talking? And where's the other talking animal? Are you two friends?) ETTE: (...That's too many questions, isn't it? Sorry.) He then mentions that he hasn't met Marron, or anyone else, really. ETTE: (Oh, maybe I should introduce you! She's...) ETTE: (Actually, she's not really a big fan of animals, so maybe it's not the best idea.) ETTE: (Like, I wanted a cat or dog, and she said that they'd scratch up all of her fabric and things like that.) ETTE: (It was kinda dumb.) Wilson then asks for chemicals. Ette scratches her head. ETTE: (I don't know.) ETTE: (You could check the inventory. Where we somehow keep all of our things.) ETTE: (I dunno how it works, but I can help you look for stuff!) This leads to Wilson eventually being shown the inventory, which probably defies description, but it exists! He then decides to mine some rocks for iron pyrite, which is... "a shiny yellow mineral consisting of iron disulfide and typically occurring as intersecting cubic crystals." Neat. 13 units of it are added to the inventory. He then tosses 5 Iron Pyrite, 5 Uniform Logs, 5 Wire Scraps, a Squall Cluster, and a Bucket of Salt Water together in a probably actually realistic fashion that creates a whole 25 Sulfuric Acid Vials. Is this a realistic amount? I don't actually know, but that craft certainly deserved some pay! (Anyway, note that not every single byproduct will be stored in the inventory as a concrete item, as... otherwise, I sense you filling the inventory with new entries very, very quickly.) Anyway, he then uses 5 of his newly minted Sulfuric Acid Vials and some of the seemingly infinite wine from the keg downstairs to create 1 Ether. I can't believe Wilson is actually a Pokemon. Just when you think you've already read an entire's post worth of content already, the Tazzpost arrives! To kick it off, Maria thanks Chaos for headsmashing a window, then runs off to hug a Spiralfloof. While it'd probably nom her head or something, Maria seems to naturally pacify it, and gives the big fluffy a big hug. It is possibly the fluffiest thing in existence. If a bit damp, because water element. The cloud-shaped, cat-faced creature nuzzles up with Maria. Truly, this is the best timeline. I mean, it'll be the best until it gets bored and flies away. Then it'll be the most tragic timeline. Elsewhere, Venia almost turns into a delicious blob of grey death pudding, alarming Nia, who flinches and jolts backward a step or two. NIA: W-Whoa, what's- The blurring soon stops, leaving Venia to drop to the floor. The thought of the date completely flees Nia's mind as she drops to her knees, quickly shaking Venia. NIA: H-Hey! You a-alright? Venia's quick to note that she's okay. Whilst still on the ground, she asks for Nia to nail her with a water attack. She nods her head. NIA: A-Alright! If it's what you want, I'll get you real wet! GM's note; this line was an accident but i kept it NIA: Wait, that... I actually didn't intend to make a lewd... NIA: ...N-Nevermind! Now's not the time. Unless it is. NIA: Chargin' beam! Nia scrambles up to her knees, and wildly shakes Boxican around, charging up Super Soak! Venia is promptly hit with a low-level Super Soak beam. What will this do? I don't actually know. NIA: T-There! You alright? NIA: If you die on me before we get offworld, I'll never forget you, but I'll also never forgive you. NIA: ...Pouty face. Nia promptly makes a pouty face, then helps Venia up as she heads over to the Grey Reverie to show it the Grey Card. It tilts its head at Venia, before whistling a few melodic refrains. It promptly flies up to one of the two upper towers of the Church of Helix, and begins whistling. Venia can make out the fuzzy outline of a figure in grey at the top of the tower. They stare down at Venia, before turning and walking right out of her sightlines. NIA: Huh. NIA: Is that... a good thing? NIA: We might be able to visit them once we get into the church- shouldn't be hard to like, find a ladder up to the tower or somethin'. While the couple is busy theorizing about birbs, Venia's hat does... a lot of stuff! Point form: -1 High Powered Cooler, 1 Glacial Cluster, and 9 Joltwire is thrown at the Airship, adding some well-needed coolant to the ship! And air conditioning. +10% Systems, +10% Gravcore, +5% Aesthetic! -1 Eldritch Orb used to... actually, it seems to be quite hardy! It's certainly pretty close to releasing its Flux though. It also maybe has some other goodies within it. -2 Rosetainted Metal stared into oblivion, leaving 5 Flux behind. With all of that done, Venia also opts to send her maid to do something. She loots the "Exhibition", obtaining 10 Red Rock. It then leaves the mysterious storage chamber, and goes to show some Silverwood Trees who's the boss around here, slaying 11 of them for a total of 22 Silverwood Logs. Mustache Girl works in the creeper aw man. She upgrades the Vine Rope to a Titanium Chain, using... only about 2 Titanium Ingots. Neat. She then slowly climbs up in an attempt to avert the strain of ascension, but fortunately the light nausea doesn't do too much to her... this time. She then dumps her belongings in the bucket. <THE NEXUS, ROUND EIGHT> The Author fires a Liberation-infused bullet into Yume's head! A burst of black fluid rips out from Yume's newly acquired gaping wound. For what seems like the first time in a millennia, the creature finally stops screaming, too busy stumbling around on all fours to do much of that. A purple mist begins to violently rips from the wound- the powers of Purging! This seems to be enough to cause the creature to collapse backward. It shrieks and spasms as the mist spews out of the wound and into the air! As it squirms, the blackened limbs that it created upon its transformation begin to shrivel and shrink, receding back into her body. Soon, her arm seems to naturally re-attach to her torso, making her look more like her prior, humanoid form. The black goo soon completely seeps back into Yume's body, leaving behind her old, short, almost cute humanoid form behind. She sits up, and takes a look around the room. This is promptly interrupted by her vomiting up a series of 24 multi-colored eggs, before flopping over backwards and falling asleep. A few quiet moments pass. Then, the ceiling of the Nexus cracks, and falls inward! Everyone feels something grabbing onto them, and they're all forcibly thrown outside of the Rainbow Mountain they entered the Nexus through. They land not in a pool of thyme matter, but a valley of damp dirt and mud. Once everyone manages to re-orient themselves, they look at the place they just were- it's collapsed, and there's no more traces of Thyme Matter. Chloe celebrates, throwing her arms up into the air. CHLOE: That was... intense! CHLOE: I'm just glad we made it... ...And with that, Yume is defeated! Your best move now is probably to gear up for the Caravan Raid, which will HOPEFULLY be happening soon. Look forward to it! <SPIDER'S ROOST, ROUND SEVEN> Not much to say here. Tidy up the Iti, then head out of the cave? I really can't pad out this message much with anything meaningful, and also I need to clean the house up because my family's returning today I think. -------------------- |

I'm still gonna limit my actions. I don't wanna actionsplode you so I'm trying to keep my "main overworld" actions contained.
Echoss nods. "That should actually be all that I need to make a rough guess, thank you." His butterfly ducks into the inventory. Materials expended: Yaga Fins x3, Throwlem Crystal x1, Shadow Crystals x3, Circuit Borads and Wire Scraps x?, Iron Ingots x5. Echoss assembles the case and basic electronics of the scanner quite easily through the use of the iron ingots and various electronic parts. The curious thing is the other three items. Essentially, he takes smaller pieces of the Yaga Fins and mixes them with the Shadow Crystals to make a sort of 'spatial rift' detector. As the Yaga fins possess a disparity with regular matter and Shadow elemental things on Sussui have a decently strong association with Space and Gravity (two of the most relevant 'primary' elements when dealing with teleportation and similar abilities) the two groups of items together can be used to make the array. Then combined with the Throwlem Crystal which have a similar momentum spatial effect to give directional locating, the whole thing can be put into the scanner and hooked up to the electronics. Currently the whole thing is programmed to try and locate the Fae, as was requested. In a pinch it could likely be reprogrammed to try and find something else teleporting around but that likely won't ever come up. The Echoss hologram, upon completion of the sorta-craft, sets it on Omo's desk. "As you requested Miss Omorika, I am not fully certain it will function completely perfectly at first. A little calibration might be needed for full reliability, but it should serve your purposes once calibrated." Echoss's hologram buzzes slightly worriedly when Chloe tells her story. "I am so, so sorry Miss Elem. I meant to send you a small escort of butterflies to assist with collection and any threats, and they must have gotten lost along the way I didn't... I apologize. Thank you for your efforts, is there anything I may do to make it up to you?" Pionobot sighs. "Yes I'm aware it's pathetic. Doubly so since I was with the party for a chunk of the earlier fights. In my defense though, they didn't land any hits on me. They sorta died when my arm exploded. I assume. They didn't eat me so I'm pretty sure they got exploded." Battle: Echoss postpones his action until after assorted others have acted. Not the very end of the round but just like, after a number of shots have been taken at the Iti. Most notably Venia, Chara, and Crya Echoss then loads one of the about to expire fire el-ite knives and fires it at one of the surviving Iti. Priority is: Gotou, splinter spitter, ISpider9, ISpider10 After Echoss acts (and also Leaf, who needs to loot the chest), Nana is asked to move to J15 and use her darts to snipe the Gotou if it's alive, or else Itispider10 if it somehow survived. Overworld actions: In the house the Echoss minigolems shrug and just throw an entire Tier 1 Fire crystal into the netwyrm neck. Three. Two. One. There is a small explosion that is thankfully mostly fire instead of explosion so it doesn't make enough noise to send people rushing to see what happened. It DOES help remove the head. Hopefully samples are obtained? A couple of Echoss butterflies clear off the table into the inventory now that everyone's presumably eaten breakfast. This creates the items of it in the inventory that were already there, I think. The Mini-golems in the Library work on helping the Mechanic finish prying up the tiles, working efficiently to work from the Southern end up, the opposite direction the Mechanic is working. The whole thing'll be done in no time! In the farm, the freshly finished Gigistems are harvested and replaced with Manabloom. After this I'm probably gonna opt to wait to harvest the farm until everything is ready to be harvested. Doing it the way that I've been doing it is probably driving Ire bonkers. NPC Assignments: As per a quick community poll in the server, the flux in the lab is used to purchase the Tome of Ancient Art (Offense), and Well Recreation. The well is placed in Zone 0, specifically close to the dueling arena. Additionally per a short discord chat, Samples in the lab are used to purchase Glacial Monolith and Frame Stability. Echoss politely asks if Chloe would mind grabbing some Spiritblossoms. He attempts to send butterflies again this time, in the hopes that he can warn her of any potential incoming threats and not be totally useless a second time in a row. A shadowy figure who is definitely not Echoss, so definitely not Echoss that this time you can tell he's actually a character of his own now(!), sidles up to Nia and slides her two things. x20 pretty flowers. x2 Auth's Socks With the appropriate number of credits to go with to upgrade them. (I have speed's permission OOC to upgrade Auth's socks.) Also, I finally came up with a visual descriptor for Echoss properly! Thanks to those on the discord who helped me out: Darker Greyish Blue (subdued), Off White, and Goldish-yellow color scheme #ffd11a, #eff6ee, #0c5399 Height: Six foot even. Skin Color: Lighter skin tone, not "white" but still pretty light. Hair Color (and styling): Dark Blonde, neat smooth cut. Eye Color: Golden irises, same as his butterfly's color. Pupils are thin, almost catlike. Irises are also almost entirely uniform in color. General Body Build: Thinner. Not super notably thin, but a more trim physical build. Notable Differences: Has tattoos on both his hands. On the back of his hands are a shield with a four pointed star on it. On the palms are six pointed stars with an open eye in the center. Wardrobe choice: changes each day. Zone 3: Basic traveling outfit in gold, brown and green. Zone 4: Wearing a blue 'officer's coat' with white and gold trim. Shirt is white, with a bit of the gold trimmed around it. Pants are a clean black. Personal note for ongoing things to do: Make new and interesting consumables Upgrade the house Upgrade the Airship Help clear the Everground. Also make sure to keep the farm tended. (upgrading pretty flowers and auth's socks every so often) -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

As Venia is hit with the Water attack... Nothing of note happens as she was uninjured, though her clothes are quite clean and not sopping wet afterwards. Come to think of it, you don't think Venia's clothes have gotten dirty even when she herself was wounded. How curious. "... Mmph. Definitely didn't hurt at all... Very mildly invigorating, if anything. Then again, I barely have enough of the appropriate gear to 'absorb' the water, but this data will interface well... Thanks, Nia! ...Hrm, now next I need..." Venia quickly inspects the Codex Monstrum. Her eyes fall on the page of Embers. "... Well, any Iti capable of absorbing magical attacks of any type would do, but ideally I would like the bodies of Spouts, or their leftover essence or whatever. Mostly just Spouts because I think I'm going to try to become a Transcendent of Water, if I had to pick of what we got currently. Just off of preference. But yeah... These 'ember' type iti look like they'll be very useful to study for all of this." "...Kind of out of questions myself, for now. We'll talk later?" Venia says. Mariaaaaaaaa "Fluuufffeeeehhhhhh~" Maria says, totally elated by the fluffiest fluffy ever. "I love you. I loooove you. I love you. I loooooooooove you. You are, a fluffly lovely. I'mma call you cushion, 'cause you're like a big ol' cushion, and I love you." She turns back around to Chaos. "Mister Chaos! What is this thing? I love him. I wanna give him food, what is he? Can you give me big fluffy cat cloud food, mister Chaos?" Maria says, still busy hugging and petting that Spiralfloof. Boshi arranges his Skillpoints:
-1 HP -1 MP +3 SKI This grants him access to Run It Back on his Trait. ---BOSHI TIME--- Boshi was just about to take a break, when suddenly he notices that something just happened at the info center to the south. He rushes down to find a Chairian Magi about to be set upon by Hounds; clearly they just came out of the info center. Boshi runs up to block the doorway, lowering into a battle stance. He glances back to the Magi behind him. "(You alright?)" He swats away any hound (or other iti) trying to approach him, either turning their heads into a fine purple mist, or simply just hip-checking them out of the way. He mostly just intends to serve as a distraction. "(Before you ask; yeah, I'm an outsider. One of the ones tryin' to stop the Sphere from causing more harm 'round these parts than it has already.)" He peers into the info center. "(I'll be fine. Just get out of this general area. The rest of us are around the general area, and are more than willing to help you out if ya need it.)" If the Magi needs a little extra nudge to actually get moving, Boshi sighs, and says; "(Just... get away from this building and you'll be fine.)" He sticks around the building, fending off Iti, until the Magi gets somewhere safe. ---YEETING ROCKS OFF A WALL WITH A PICKAXE--- MU, satisfied with her work, moves over to the "A Sheer Drop" area. She uses 3 Iron Ingots to make chain links (still no amazingly handsome elf boys), linking them all together into a full chain capable of stretching down to the area below. She slides down said chain with haste, and heads to the Overgrown Depths. Noting the fact that the Fountain appears to be moving, she plies a splinter off one of the trees, and flings it at the fountain. Of course, it turns into a Mimic/Exhibition. In which case she positions the (O113/P113) tree so that it's parallel with the downward slope ahead of it. Then she pushes it down, hopefully toppling the other tree and killing the Mimic/Exhibition via tumbling timber. -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

Irongutta puts a skillpoint into HP. It was a good way to go.
RP with Nia Irongutta picks back up on his discussion with Nia, smiling at both her rocket launcher idea and her praise. "Heh, well if we ever gets some time after this whole mess I could work on some blueprints for that wizardy rokkit launcha! And I'm glad to see that ya gets the fact that Orks is the best!" He then takes a moment to ponder her question. "Explosion wizards, eh? Wot, ya mean like yerself? Well, Orks actually do have somethin' exactly like that now that I thinks of it. Some Orks 'ave all kindsa weird things 'appen 'round them, like makin' chairs float or teleportin' things wivvout any sorta tellyporta to do it for 'em. So of course they're known as Weirdboyz, 'coz they're so weird. I never saw 'em too often, 'cept for a couple time where one was brought past my workshop by some guards." The Ork scratched his chin, continuing to recollect his distant past. At least, it felt distant to him. He rarely cared to keep track of the time. "Though I always 'eard all sorts of things 'bout them Weirdboyz from the other lads 'round me, like 'ow they can spit fire or fry gits with 'uge zaps. Personally I kept my distance whenever I knew one of 'em would be nearby 'coz all that weirdness they 'ave can backfire real bad-like! They never seemed able to control it like some of you grots out 'ere. Oh! Which reminds me to say, ya really 'ave gotten better at that magic thingy that ya do, Nia. I'm sure wivv enough time ya could crush a hundred tables!" Omo Irongutta gladly takes the laptop from Omo's possession whenever she is finished with it. "Great! I'z gonna use this thing to give the airship some important flight gubbinz fer tomorrow." Ambush Preparation Finally, Irongutta prepares for the Caravan battle. Specifically, he gets to work on preparing and setting up an astronomical amount of explosives at the southern end of the valley to trigger a huge avalanche that will trap the caravan right in their clutches. This preparation is as follows: Spoiler Alert With his setup in place, he gets the attention of R-8733. "Oi! I 'eard that yer a big fan of explosions. Well let me tell ya wot's wot, so listen up good! I set up a big bundle of explosives at the southern end of this 'ere valley that I call Da Mountainsmasha, and I'z gonna set off a HUGE explosion! It'll be so big that it's gonna bring down the whole fraggin' mountain above it! You'll 'ave no choice but to consider it the flashiest kaboom ya ever laid yer eyes on." Folding his arms proudly, Irongutta awaited his response. The detonator button to "Da Mountainsmasha" remained in his hand, of course. |

* Now, wouldn't you like to know what goes on behind the closed curtains? * Everyone does. But you must understand. * A proper setup is necessary first. Then follows the plot and struggle. * Be a good theatergoer and return to your seat now, will you? Meat: Today's d31 roll: 14 (she/her) The Splinter silently thanks Nana for saving her from appearing like a fool who does not check her own abilities' requirements beforehand. Well, not in those exact words, but you get the idea. She additionally contemplates rolling in the Rotting Widow's extra crispy carcass for all-around intimidation value, but no. There could still be some poison remaining within it. Instead, her machinical mind races through the available actions that can be taken. After deciding on a plan, she straightens up in an automated manner, makes a wide arch with her arm and, in the apex of its rotation, flings one of the Shanks Gotou-ways. Without stopping, she moves the other dagger to her primary arm and makes yet another swing, throwing the blade at the same Gotou. If neither of the two miss at any point, they will deeply graze it, cutting lines across its back and continuing right into the unsuspecting Iti-infected Splinter Spider next to it. They shall then continue, noclip through the wall, break physics and loop around the other side of the map into Chara's prepared hands. -------------------- Many times have we been forgotten.

Ziah gives an eager nod.
Ziah: Yeah, I plan on going around and meeting everyone, so people know me better, I guess. Ziah: That... is kind of why people meet other people, isn't it? Ette then mentions magic club. Ziah can't help but smile at the excitement she seems to display. Ziah: Well, I actually didn't have any magic, but... Ziah: I learned a little bit of magic from a book in the library... Ziah: Surprisingly easy, considering I've never done any magic before. Ziah pauses for a moment. Ziah: Hey, would you happen to know where Marron is, maybe? Ziah: I wanted to like... do archery practice with her. Ziah: I'm... not sure if she'd enjoy that, but I thought it would be a fun way to uh... get to know her... He doesn't seem very confident, but waits for an answer. -=+=- Leaf: Anything to know about riding them... Leaf: Well, they're surprisingly cooperative, for big spider cutes. Leaf places a finger to her lips as she thinks, zoning out. Leaf: Although I guess I only really need to make a small suggestion for any creature to do what I want... Leaf: So that could be why they're.. . Leaf blinks, before shaking her head. Leaf: A-Ah, sorry, zoned out. Leaf: What were we... Leaf: Right, spiders. They should be fairly gentle, so I doubt you'll have a problem~ Nia asks where they might be able to find one. Leaf takes a moment to think about this. Leaf: Well, I'm not actually sure. Leaf: But I can sense a bunch of them in the forest. Leaf: Tell me when you're ready, and we can go ride one. -=+=- Leaf's mount skitters to K6, where Leaf dismounts it. She then darts to M4, opening the chest, before using a Warp Ring to teleport back onto the spider at K6. The Splinter Spitter retreats to J7 and shoots a splinter at Gotou2. -------------------- "I wish he loved me half as much as he loved you."

Adrian tosses a +2 to his SPC.
---- Adrian goes back to his friends, crowded over a crossroad. He reaches for the hand of a certain someone in the crowd- a dark-skinned boy, donning a fluffy olive green hoodie in addition to his casual outfit. The boys blush, then glance away from each other. -------------------- This signature is a 3/3 green Elk creature with no abilities.

Auth stretches his arms and legs, seeming to be a little sore after that battle.
uA: Well, that was fun. We've ought to prepare for the other things we've to do today, though... Auth heads over to the Rebel Base, where he has been lead to believe the others were. He sees Omo looking over the computer still... uA: Oh, hello again. We've dealt with the Yume, thank god. It looked like it was going to be pretty close for a second. Looks like you had no trouble here? Auth looks to the rebels, and glances to Omo. He moves to start healing them, since they're injured, unless Omo signals him not to do that. Either way, he's crouching down to speak with them. uA: ...You all should be alright now. I'll tell you what's going to happen. We're probably going to let you go back to your headquarters, since if we leave you here you'll either get captured and killed by the Legion, or killed and eaten by the Iti. I'm sure you'll agree with me that neither of those outcomes are particularly good for anyone, no? He casts a sharp glare towards the Rebel muttering about how they'll kill the Spherebreakers later. uA: Now, you there. Don't think we can't hear you. Do keep in mind that we are letting you go and tending to the wounds for anyone left behind. It is not in our best interest to do that - leaving you behind is. We do it because it is the moral right to do so. Are you sure that your conscience will let you kill us after that? Consider it before you make such stupid comments, please. Auth sighs. With a confirmation that he's okay to free them from Omo, Auth undoes the ropes keeping them there, and waves them on their way. Afterwards, Auth turns back to Omo. uA: Wasn't that fun. Did you get anything of worth out of them? uA: Sorry about how I'm always quizzing you about something, hah... uA: There's always something I feel like I need to ask you, honestly, and I can't help but bring it up. With the two free skill points, Auth raises his SKI by two points. -------------------- They say that there's no rest for the wicked, until they close their eyes for good.

Hey look I'm doing things.
Calibri starts off the list of things to engage in by appearing in one of the snow piles in preparation for the ambush. He proceeds to turn shockingly snow-white, except for his blue eyes which don't seem to want to change colour. "Hopefully they don't see my eyes..." Verdana, meanwhile, is back at the house with his attention elsewhere. He's keeping a close eye on the roof, namely on Maria and the spiralfloof. "Better be here for safety reasons..." EN, meanwhile, is investigating the airship. "A'ight, wha's this sucker need?" And... hmm... Engie just decides to yeet into the everground again, just to get things started up. "Look, I have no other realistic way to contribute since I sure can't do anything plot-related, since that needs the protagonist spotlight on me, and if I take it off from the siblings that ruins the whole plan." -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. Currently, you follow mine."

Action: Thina -- Spider's Roost
... Well, there's nothing else to really do, if other people's plans are any indication. ... Might as well try to grind some SP, I suppose. if (ISpitter2.IsDead() && ISpider9.IsDead()) { Thina stays put and uses Transfusion, targeting Leaf's SSpitter1. She burns enough HP for a full heal, which should be 12, and heals it fully. } else { Thina walks to I6 then diagonally down to K8. From there, she evolves Claws solely for that +5 HIT. Then she burns 10 HP for an unravel, targeting any Iti foe in range, then healing Echoss if at all possible. } RP: Wilson -- RE: Ire Despite having just made some sulfuric acid, Wilson is still talking to Ette. Because Forum Games. "It's a... long story. But if you want to know, there's an enchantment on me that produces sound near me. I suppose I could change my voice if I wanted, but I've never bothered. And the other talking animal is... Hm." He seems to chuckle to himself. "I guess you could say we're 'friends'. I know of her existence, even though I really shouldn't. She's at the spider place because I don't want to go fight there. ... Too many eyes..." He shakes his head, memories flashing through unpleasant times. Luckily though, the conversation moves to something else. More playfully, he rolls over across the ground. "Really? I proommmissseee I won't scratch the furniture." Stretching out his paw, he arcs electricity between his claws. "Can't promise no fires..." Then he climbs back to his feet and looks down, a little sheepishly. "Well, I joke about that, but I don't like... being treated like that." Anyway... I'm not planning on using the ether just yet. I'm also not really sure what else to do in crafting yet. -------------------- Played.

<ROUND ONE-HUNDRED SIXTY-FOUR>
Echoss continues working. He opts to toss Omo a locator device, using 3 Yaga Scales, a Throwlem Crystal, 3 Shadow Crystals, 2 Circuit Boards, 2 Wire Scraps, and 3 Iron Ingots. She gives the device a quick examination, then an equally quick test. It immediately gives a reading, prompting Omo to rise from her position of study. OMORIKA: Ah, wonderful. OMORIKA: It seems I've already located them. This shall only take a moment. OMORIKA: Thank you for your continued assistance, sir Echoss. She heads off to catch a Fae. This also reduces her Research Time by three rounds, which means that "World of Wonder" will now complete on Round 170. He also opts to apologize to Chloe for not helping her on her journey. CHLOE: Hey, don't worry about it. CHLOE: It's my job to harvest things, not yours. Really, if I was a bit safer, I wouldn't NEED the squadron of guard butterflies. CHLOE: If you want to make it up to me... well, you could probably come with me personally and grab some things. CHLOE: It's a bit lonely out there sometimes, and company is always nice! Echoss then continues his string of overworld work. In point form: -1 Ashen Crystal used to incinerate a Netwyrm Neck. It smells godawful, but at least its gone! -The dinner table is cleared of items. However, it seems that the leftovers were added to the inventory the moment the items hit the table. -The Dance Floor is finally removed! All 15 tiles are now nicely stacked. "Hey, thanks for the help!" -Gigistems harvested, looting 3 of them and 10 Refined Wood. 9 Manabloom Seeds planted! He then opts to purchase the Tome of Ancient Art and Well Recreation, expending 15 total Flux. He also tosses a total of 130 Samples towards Frame Stability and Glacial Monolith. He also sends Chloe off on another mission; today, she's to find some Spiritblossoms! She heads off, and eventually returns with her wheelbarrow filled with... a lot of dirt, and a few flowers. CHLOE: Oh, thanks for the convoy! CHLOE: I mean, you probably saw yourself that not much happened, but... eh. It's nice. CHLOE: Anyway, these things are oddly delicate; if removed from the soil for long enough, they'll actually begin to disintegrate! CHLOE: Soooo, I filled my wheelbarrow with soil, and they survived the trip! Here you go~ 7 Spiritblossoms obtained! In addition, Chloe donates 48 Dirt and 14 Soulblossoms as an additional bonus. Finally, he then gives Nia 20 Pretty Flowers, and 2 of the Author's socks. She promptly misunderstands. NIA: Ooh, are these flowers for me? Why, thank you~ NIA: Unfortunately for you, if that was an attempt to woo me... I'm already taken. Sorry if this is news. NIA: Also, I don't know why you gave me socks. It takes Nia a moment to think about just why he might've given her these things, and also 40 Credits. Maybe it's a bribe. Then she promptly remembers that she has a job. NIA: Oh, right. NIA: Comin' right up! She randomly upgrades them into the Hydrahead Flowers and the Sock Puppets respectively. This also generates 2 Flux. Elsewhere, Pionobot continues chatting with Mari. However, there's really not much for the scientist to talk about anymore. MARI: So... MARI: I need to go and actually work on scheduled things now. MARI: Drone upgrades, that job I've apparently been given by Chaos- things like that. MARI: I'll see you later? Who knows? Maybe Pionobot wants to chat a little more, or something. Venia continues doing stuff. Is it normal for two players to make up like 50% of the textdop? I dunno. Anyway, Venia facetanks the Super Soak, not even getting wet somehow. NIA: Whoa, cool! NIA: ...So if you jumped in the river, would the water like, bend around you, or something? NIA: Or are you just sorta... immune to water? NIA: It's kinda weird. NIA: Ooh, I wonder if I could be like, what you wanna be, but with ice magic. That'd be cool! Venia then decides that it'd be worth taking the head of a Spout. An idea suddenly pops into Nia's head. NIA: Think it'd be better if we took one alive? NIA: We could probably make like, an electric zappy thing, and capture one! NIA: Then we could tape it to your back, and it'd try and kill you, but it's actually healing you cuz' they're super dumb. Anyway, Venia then poses that they'll go and talk later. NIA: Okay! NIA: I'm gonna spend some time with Leaf and see if she can teach me how to ride a spider. NIA: It seems like fun! NIA: Anyway, see you later? Nia awaits an answer for that and her previous ideas. Meanwhile, on the roof of the House, Maria cuddles a Spiralfloof, then asks Chaos some questions about the floofy thing. What is it? Can she give it food? CHAOS: i[t]'s like... CHAOS: look i[t]'s probably some weird [t]ype of [c]a[t] CHAOS: no[t] a biologis[t], bu[t] every[t]hing is a [c]a[t], righ[t]? CHAOS: i[t] probably ea[t]s... CHAOS: ...i dunno CHAOS: [c]a[t] food??? Chaos quickly slaps together some items from his personal supply- some casual Tsunami Regalias and what seems to be some Tier 7 cat food, which is then thrown in a blender. What comes out is... questionable at best, but it seems the Spiralfloof wants to eat whatever the hell he just made. He hands Maria a bag full of the stuff. CHAOS: yeah [t]ry [t]his CHAOS: i[t]'s magi[c] [c]a[t] food CHAOS: don'[t] feed i[t] [t]o a normal [c]a[t] or [t]hey'll probably explode i dunno CHAOS: bu[t] i[t] should be good for [t]he big sky[c]a[t] While Maria's attempting to feed the Spiralfloof a bag of slop, Hat then attempts murder on the Eldritch Orb. While Hat personally fails to do anything against it, he does will into existence some random green chick with an insane amount of shivs, who stabs the orb to death. It promptly explodes into 5 Flux, and some strange liquid. Quick analysis of it reveals a new Lab recipe: the spell "Relinquish Will"! He also slays 2 pieces of Fluxblighted Wood, obtaining 5 Flux. Boshi invests 3 into SKI, while removing 1 from MHP and MMP. Boshi rescues a Magi! Or at least, he moves in to: the unidentified Chairian at the Information Centre steps back in surprise, and looks at Boshi with slight annoyance. She's average height for a Chairian (which means she's tall), and her clothes seem to be some kind of modified Legion Magi robes, optimised for comfortable travel. Atop her head is a medium length of autumn foliage, and her bark is a yellow-olive colour. She waves her arms around, attempting to do something to the Hounds. Her unusual form of woodmancy seems to be some sort of root binding, which she repetitively tries to set upon the Iti in front of her. The Hounds, however, are too agile; they nimbly step to the side whenever she tries anything. ???: H-Hey! I have this under control! ???: They just need to... stand still! Despite her protests, she stops once Boshi takes the lead. He quickly splatters one Hound against the wall. ???: An outsider? From offworld? ???: (better than the legion, at least) This also gives her a chance to notice the dinosaur's unusual appearance, as he splats yet another one of them, its fluids painting the floor. ???: Wait, what... are you? Boshi informs the Magi that she should get to safety, but she shakes her head. ???: Hey, I left my stuff in there, and I'm not leaving until I get it! ???: plus i want to give those iti a piece of my mind ...As she mentions that, a few more Iti come into view in the building. She doesn't seem to be going anywhere just yet, so perhaps you should go and take them out? It seems that her stuff is likely a bit deeper in the building. Meanwhile in the depths, Mustache Girl uses 3 Iron to make a safe descend, then investigates the Fountain... or at least she tries, but the Chimes (which have somehow been ignored again) slam her with a metallic rod for (8) damage, knocking her away. Irongutta +1's his MHP, then chats with Nia about explosions and weirdboys. He apparently COULD make a wizard rocket launcher. Nia ponders what she might want out of it. NIA: Aah, I wonder what the magical rocket thingy could do...? NIA: Maybe I could like, load a spell into it, then I'd fire it and it'd be a massive magical explosion! NIA: Or maybe it's like a magical staff, but it's also a rocket launcher! NIA: Or... something cooler than both of those things, combined! You can probably think of something! He then explains the concept and existence of Weirdboyz to Nia. NIA: So they're like, random wizards? NIA: I mean, they're not really wizards who do nothing but explosions, but I guess they're more like... Toast? NIA: Yeah, they're like Toast, in that they're random but also cool! NIA: ...Hey, can you do magic like one of those guys? NIA: I bet you can! Like, if I can do magic, you probably can, too! NIA: Give it a try! ...While he might not really have any idea on how to actually use magic, he does have an idea on what he'll do with the laptop, which he takes from Omo. Rebellion Laptop obtained! He also spends some time prepping a devastating explosive to drop an avalanche on the approaching caravan. This uses a Minifridge, 30 Gunpowder, 15 Searing Powder, 20 Wire Sraps, 3 Circuit Boards, 1 Assorted Gun Part, 5 Mortar Shells, 1 Feather Rope Coil, a Mantle Cluster, and a Glacier Cluster! This Minifridge Nuke is primed at AT42. He then notifies R-8733 of his plan to slay a mountain. R-8733: Ooh, I've never blown up a mountain before. R-8733: I'll look forward to the boom! R-8733: ...Also, I need to be there when you press the button. It's more satisfying that way. How much HP does a mountain have, anyway? We'll never know. Ziah and Leaf continue their respective chats. Ziah asks Ette where he might be able to find Marron. Ette ponders this for a moment. ETTE: (She said she was going off with Toast to "kill a lake".) ETTE: (I don't know if lakes can be killed.) ETTE: (They should be around the Endless Gardens, though!) ETTE: (If you don't know the way, I could be your guide!) An enticing offer. Elsewhere, Leaf goes over some basics of a sort for riding spiders with Nia. The critters are surprisingly tame, and also Leaf can hack spiders. NIA: ...They are pretty gentle, aren't they? NIA: ...Except the ones in the cave over there seem pretty angry. She points somewhere offscreen, where angry spider noises are currently the main currency: the Spider's Roost. NIA: They'll be fiiiiine. NIA: Anyway, could you go and grab one? I'm totally ready! Adrian +2's his SPC. I forgot to make the spoiler at the top, and it's too late to do that now. I mean it really isn't, but you can't tell me what to do Auth heads off to chat with Omo. While she's already given up the Laptop to Irongutta, the situation plays out about the same. OMORIKA: Oh? You've neutralized the target? OMORIKA: Exceptional work. I expected no less from you. OMORIKA: In addition, our mission over here went off with minimal casualties. He then opts to deal with the tied up Rebels, who he begins to heal. She does set up a quick summon armed with a riot shield however, just to ensure that things don't get out of hand. He gives them a quick lecture about what's going to happen to them, then casts a bit of a special focus on the Rebel that thinks he'll be killing them later. REBEL: Yes. Certainly. REBEL: Our conscience will certainly stop us from killing you. There are a few uneasy nods from the Rebels, while some of them give the rebel who spoke up the deathglare to end all deathglares. Once he's finished speaking, he lets loose the rebels. Omo and her construct shepherd them out of the city through the main gate, then directs them southward, out of the pass. Once she returns, Auth asks if she got anything out of them. OMORIKA: Yes, actually. OMORIKA: They're planning an ambush on the Caravan. OMORIKA: Mostly air troopers, but they're also planning to lure some Iti onto the south end of the Caravan. OMORIKA: I'm confident in our abilities to deal with them, but I believe it'd be smart to set up some defenses to deal with the incoming intrusions. OMORIKA: Would you be so kind as to assist me? I believe some sort of anti-aerial mechanism would be of assistance to the party. She awaits a response from the Author. Auth also +2's his SKI. Wilson answers the questions of an eager puppet. She sits down on the floor criss-cross to listen to the fennec better. As the topic of Marron hating animals comes up, Wilson rolls across the floor. This draws a sound from Ette known as a "squee", or at least she'd make that noise if she had a voice. The urge to pet Wilson is nearly irresistible, but she is a puppet of restraint and kindness! She abstains from petting him, but fails to hide her happiness. ETTE: (You're a good fox and you won't...) ETTE: (...Fire? Can you light fire?) ETTE: (I guess you're magical, so it's not out of the question...) ETTE: (Better not tell sis about that. She'd freak out.) Ette continues sitting there, watching the fox. She really seems to be charmed. ETTE: (Ooh! Could I see some of your magic?) ETTE: (I'll give you a treat!) ETTE: (...That isn't demeaning, is it? I don't usually talk with animals, so I dunno...) ETTE: (We have snacks, if you want something.) Perhaps Wilson will discover Ette's cooking abilities. Or maybe not, if she's incapable of cooking something that'd be palatable for a fox. Odds are, cooking for a critter is different than cooking for another human. <SPIDER'S ROOST, ROUND EIGHT> With the Iti infestation cleared, everyone is free to finally explore the southern end of the cavern! What they find there is... unpleasant, to say the very least. It's certainly an interesting place though- exploring it thoroughly is probably a good idea. Also, with all of the current battles cleared, you may now start the Caravan Raid at any time! I mean, I'll automatically start it if you don't start it for long enough, but for now, just prepare for that! Remember to gear up accordingly for which part of the Caravan you're opting to raid as well! You'll certainly succeed should you plan well enough in advance. -------------------- |

uA: Thanks, Omo. From the sounds of it, we've done pretty well all around this morning.
uA: Always a good sign. Auth gives a satisfied chuckle after that. It's been a good morning. He might even eat something later. Although, the other Rebels... he shakes his head, but smiles as he sees some rebels that are understandably frustrated with their... "friend". Something of a vote of confidence. Auth appreciates that, waving as they're lead off by Omo. uA: Hm... ambush them? I see... uA: We need to interrupt the caravan but the rebels are going to get in the way. Iti, too... awful inconvenient for them. uA: In case of the flying rebels? Let me think, I'll see what I can suggest. Auth closes his eyes and leans back. It takes a few minutes, but after a while, he opens them with a jolt. He has a genius idea. uA: If we need to deal with flying units, specifically from rebels, we could come up with some sort of device to catch them in midair and stop them from moving. How does that sound? Useful? No? Auth goes back into thought. He's not sure how to pull that off... uA: If you can work out a way to get something like that, let me know. I'm not sure how to do something like that. Technology isn't... my forte. In the least. I can do fundamental ideas, but... not that great as it comes to execution. Auth sighs, though he does have a completely unrelated question pop into mind. uA: On a different topic, though. This just occurred to me, maybe I should have asked it earlier. You mentioned to me what meaning sleeves have to Chairians, are there any other trinkets or things that have significant meaning like that? Good or bad, anything you can think of. Auth looks outside for a second, thinking about... several things. He thought he heard something, specifically. uA: I'll be back in a sec, I think something is going on. You can come with me, if you like. uA: Hm... actually, if it's not too much trouble, could you come with me? Probably a bad idea to go investigate on my own. Auth hopes Omo will come along, even if it's just for a small distraction. ---- The distraction isn't exactly small. Auth, and hopefully Omo, arrive to meet Boshi and the Magi who has a slight problem with her stuff being blockaded by Iti. They arrive just in time to hear her complaining about her stuff being in there. Auth waves, and walks up to the boarded building, looking inside. uA: Breaker, holding an Observer as a "hostage" to try and protect itself... uA: Between you and me? Wouldn't go in there right now. Observers aren't all that dangerous until they get hurt, and a Breaker might try to use that against us. uA: Would you like some help getting in there? Auth turns back, and if approval is given, he gets much closer to get a better look... and that purple Aura from Yume returns. After a brief moment, Auth casts Liberation on the Breaker, leaving the Observer unharmed, beyond a short drop to the ground which shouldn't be enough to activate it. uA: Alright, if you want to get in we can protect you long enough to get your stuff. Don't think there'd be too much of a threat in here now, but even so we can help protect you. uA: Of course, if you'd like the help. Auth prepares a cast of Perserverance in case they're allowed in to help. The Observer, whilst being a small threat, still exists and might cause some sort of significant injury. ---- Auth decides that he hasn't spent quite enough time in the Endless Gardens, and so, at an indistinct point in time, decides to head over there. Speaking to Lutea seems like an appropriate use of time, actually, so he goes over to see her. uA: Excuse me, Lutea. I wish to purchase the, er... Auth notices a second remedy now available for purchase. uA: Both remedies. We discovered the effect of the Tornadoblossom remedy. Brings an individual into the air, lets them move quite a bit faster. Although, I think the landing would be painful since it'd be hard to control... but... Auth gestures to the wings on his back and floats above the ground. uA: Generally quite useful, actually. We appreciate it. Auth smiles, and awaits the Eterna Remedy and another Tornadopetal Remedy. Then he has a thought. uA: So, er, Lutea. You're Nana's sister, right? If I wasn't mistaken when I brought her by earlier. I... um. I would very much appreciate it if you could tell me some things about her. uA: God, this is awkward to ask. She's part of the party and I want her to feel more comfortable, if I know things about her then I can do that. uA: ...I'd feel awkward asking her to talk about herself to me as well. So asking others who might know lowers the awkwardness a bit. uA: ...not completely, though. Sorry, I'm rambling, it's just... hard to be concise when I'm so nervous. Hah. -------------------- They say that there's no rest for the wicked, until they close their eyes for good.

Meanwhile, down in the basement, Kokichi is rummaging through storage like the lie vulture that he is, seemingly searching for any items he can use for mischief. A few items have caught the eye of the small purple goblin child. Hotpoints. Psychoid leaves. Coffee beans. Shadow crystals. Spaghetti. What's he doing with any of these things? Only Kokichi knows.
Kokichi first takes the spaghetti pocket. It seems... harmless enough, at least compared to the other materials he's taken interest in. Using illusory trap, he summons a figure that resembles a Chairian. It's surprisingly lifelike. Kokichi hands the spaghetti to Chairkichi, before it heads upstairs. It soon becomes obvious what he plans to use this for. Vandalism. Chairkichi sneaks into the bedrooms, placing spaghetti under each of the pillows. It gives a small grumble as it's unable to peek inside the chest. Chairkichi: A me specific magic lock? Chairkichi: That's meaaaan. Regardless, he sneaks out of the house, deciding to target one area where he can make a mess. It'd be funny. Chairkichi, making sure he's undetected, heads over to the statues. His eyes fall onto the Ire pedestal, on which no statue rests. As such, he decides it can use some spa-decorating. As in, spaghetti decorating. Chairkichi promptly pulls a mass of spaghetti from the pocket, and uses it to deface the pedestal, before nee-heehee'ing out of sight. Good to be back. Regular Kokichi, meanwhile, ponders the hotpoints and coffee beans for a specific reason; spicy coffee! Should be fun for a small laugh, he's sure. His eyes fall upon Omo's coffee machine. With a small nod, Kokichi heads over to the hot drink station, and pulls out a small bowl, as well as a stone. He places the hotpoints and coffee beans into the bowl with a bit of blue sap from a blob. He then grinds these up until they're a nice consistency. He takes his ground mixture and heads over to Omo's coffee machine, removing the normal coffee beans and replacing them with his hotpoint mixture. Once he's made as many cups as he can, Kokichi discards the leftover grounds and replaces places the beans back into the machine. Chairkichi decides to explore the new area, acting as a scout to see what it is everyone's up to. Merely moments after exiting the tunnel, he notices a decent indicator for a girl who's barely said a word, and is already being hit on. Namely, The Author. Chairkichi heads on over to the Magi, a warm, sincere smile on his face. Chairkichi: Oh, hey! Chairkichi: I don't think I've seen you around here before. Chairkichi: My name's... Amaranth: My name's Amaranth. Nice to meet you~! Amaranth offers a small nod and a smile to the Magi as a sign of friendship. Nothing lewd like handshakes. Besides, Amaranth, even if he looks real, is still an illusory trap, and Kokichi's aware that he needs to be replaced, and fast. Don't worry, there's more to come a little later. However, Kokichi hides the psychoid leaves and shadow crystals back in the inventory for safe keeping, for now, before heading over to the Whispering Library to read up on hallucinations, illusions, and other lie related things. -=+=- Ziah thinks for a moment. Ziah: Kill a lake... Ziah: That sounds strange, but with the things I've seen in the day or so that I've been here, I... wouldn't be surprised. He gives a small smile as Ette offers to be his guide. Ziah: I'd... I'd like that. Shall we go, then? Ziah awaits a response from his guide. -=+=- Leaf lets out a small giggle. Leaf: Well, that's probably where I'll be heading to to tame them, so hopefully they're not too upset. Leaf: I'll be back in a bit~! Leaf skips away, heading to the entrance of the spider's roost. Once there, she begins to softly whisper something that definitely doesn't sound like English. The blockmelon tree begins to gently sway, its leaves rustling slightly. She waits, expecting two spiders to come to her service in response to her whispers. -------------------- "I wish he loved me half as much as he loved you."
